The enormous body obstructed all of Han Xiao's vision. Compared to its size, Han Xiao was tiny. It was like the difference between a sparrow and an elephant.

The invisible Psychic power surrounding Han Xiao's body did not express any intention to attack. It seemed like the Interstellar Beast just wanted to pull Han Xiao to him and observe him out of curiosity. The attack earlier was no different from a scratch to the Interstellar Beast.

As Han Xiao levitated in midair, two rows of thrust pipes emerged on the back of his mechanical suit. A strong air stream gushed out, and the force allowed him to escape from the Psychic power. His electromagnetic scythe expanded in the blink of an eye as he slashed the Interstellar Beast's tentacle.

Clunk!

The blade of the scythe struck the crystal violently, and blinding electric sparks exploded. The Interstellar Beast's tentacle quickly retracted, and its body tensed as its vital spot was hit.

This slash dealt close to a thousand points of damage. Compared to its tough body, its tentacle had close to no resistance.

Suddenly, the light on the Interstellar Beast's tentacle became dozens of times brighter like a flashbang exploding out of nowhere. The almost blinding light filled the entire underground cave. Han Xiao and Herlous' vision was covered in white. Before they could adjust, a tremendous force hit onto their body, pushed them away and into the cave wall.

Boom!

The impact wave caused by its Psychic power echoed in the cave. The lake and the cave started to tremble, and countless rocks splashed into the underground hot spring.

"Look, it's angry." Han Xiao stretched his neck and chuckled.

A pipe flickering with blue light appeared on his wrist armor plate, which then shot out compressed orbs one after another that quickly turned into artilleries.

Boom boom boom!

A violent, wild storm of metal erupted in the cave!

Countless bullets hit the Interstellar Beast's body. Its tentacle emitted Psychic energy that formed a shield, changing the direction of the bullets continuously.

Herlous jumped up and landed on the Interstellar Beast's body. Close range battles were his specialty. He swung the Battleship Slicing Blade and slashed down on the Interstellar Beast's back. Although it was no different from a massage to the Interstellar Beast, at least he was spirited. He slashed toward the tentacle on the Interstellar Beast's head.

The Interstellar Beast's movements were very swift as it turned and rotated in the air rapidly. Herlous wanted to hold on, but the skin of the Interstellar Beast was exceptionally smooth, so there was no leverage, not even a single hair.

In comparison, Aroshia made a bigger impact. After she turned into energy form, the Psychic powers could not control her body but only disrupt her energy frequency, which was almost useless. She flew to the Interstellar Beast's head with ease and gently held onto its tentacle.


The next moment, highly concentrated energy exploded in her palms.

Boom!

The explosions were continuous, the Interstellar Beast twitching in pain all the while. With its vital spot being used like a boxer used a sandbag, the agony would be indescribable. Han Xiao could almost feel the pain just by looking at it. If the Interstellar Beast had an organ to generate a voice, he was certain that it would be screaming with all its might.

After Aroshia entered Grade B, the strength of her Esper power skyrocketed. She took on the role as the main damage dealer and made a tremendous impact.

The three of them surrounded the Interstellar Beast. Psychic energy was exploding, bullets were raining down, and slashes were landing continuously. It was intense and heated.

Although this was just an underground lake, the impact of the battle was like a hurricane that stirred up the lake.

Lenny and a few other naked Godorans hastily climbed out of the hot spring, leaned against the cave wall, and nervously watched the battle. They could not interfere with a battle involving Grade B Supers.

The Interstellar Beast's health went down slowly but surely. Even though it protected its vital spot as much as it could, there were times when Han Xiao and the others' attacks penetrated its defenses. The Interstellar Beast's Psychic powers were only limited to pushing and controlling objects—it dealt very limited damage to Han Xiao. All in all, it was a worry-free fight.

Not long after, the Interstellar Beast's health dropped by 50,000. Its resistance decreased by a large portion, and the damage dealt by the three of them increased.

Although Space Creatures had very thick skin, the Interstellar Beasts were not adept at battle. It could only be ranked as Grade B, and even that was because of his outrageously high health that ranked among the top even in the countless Bosses. If the players did not have sufficient damage, they would be defeated due to exhaustion. After all, their energy and stamina were limited.

The three of them could deal more than enough damage, but after fighting intensively for so long, their energy and stamina was reducing as time passed by.

Bang!

The battle lasted a long, long time. When the Interstellar Beast only had five percent of its health left, it could not continue levitating and fell into the hot spring, making a huge wave.

Han Xiao gave Herlous a signal, and the two of them dived into the lake. After looking for quite some time, they finally found the near-death Interstellar Beast at the bottom of the lake. Han Xiao grabbed this monster, turned his mechanical suit to maximum power output, and slowly dragged it onto the shore.

Its gigantic body was covered in wounds with violet slime flowing out of them. Its tentacle crystal was filled with cracks and emitting very dim light. The Interstellar Beast was squirming weakly. Han Xiao made sure that the thing did not have any more energy to battle before exhaling deeply and swinging his arms to loosen his sore muscles.

Although he was protected by the mechanical suit, it was still painful being smashed and thrown around by the Interstellar Beast.

Herlous took off his helmet, his hair damp from his sweat. He held his knees and panted. "This guy is way too resistant. I'm exhausted…"

Aroshia's body was much dimmer; she had spent more than eighty percent of her energy.

Han Xiao looked at the interface. He still had a lot of health, but his energy and stamina were almost empty. He collected all the artilleries and counted—twenty-something artilleries had been squashed by the Interstellar Beast's Psychic power.

"You guys defeated it!"

Lenny and the others walked over with stunned expressions.

Han Xiao turned around and looked at them. He frowned and said, "Where are your clothes? Also, you guys should not be the only missing Observers. Where are the others?"

"This monster took off our clothes—it probably thinks they're our weapon. We were usually suppressed under the lake by this monster. Maybe he took us as trophies," Lenny said.

"Take your clothes, let's talk when you have them on."

Han Xiao glanced at her indifferently.

Compared to women, Han Xiao was more interested in robots. He was a real man!

He turned around and saw that Herlous could not take his eyes off Lenny. He patted him and said with a displeased tone, "Don't stare at her—that's the employer's wife. I don't want to be refused the reward in the end."

Herlous scratched his head. Before he could speak in his defense, Lenny laughed alluringly.

She was in a very good mood after being rescued. She blinked and said with a smile, "It's okay, us Godorans are very open-minded. You guys saved my life, so maybe…"

"Stop, I'm not interested in golden skins."

Han Xiao shivered in his mind.

Where am I? 

Ugh, Where the hell is this!? 

How the fuck did I end up in this starry void suddenly. I can't even find any exit. 

I'm sorrounded by asteroids or something i don't know. My body is floating around, I don't even know where am I heading to cause I can't control my body.


What annoyed me the most is I can't feel my energy. I could not even use my powers in this space. 

I've been floating around for my hours. The android robot is with me, still have the books on it's tray. I already read all the books I picked up.

Is this karma? 

Is it because I hypnotized my niece. But I can't help it, It's the only light punishment I could think of. Also, I did not expect it to work. 

Argh, Come on, is there anyone in here. No one, not a single soul. This is really stupid. 

I think there is no concept of time in here, Because I don't even feel exhausted or hunger.

I remembered earlier, the cause of my predicament....yeah, it's because of that 'thing'.

Earlier,

While I was busy finding books that piqued my interest I did not notice something strange happenig on the black book on top of the table. 

The android robot keep following me but it's blue light eyes keep flickering. But I did not notice it either. 

I continue my endeavor oblivious what is happening around me. 

There are so many amazing magic book spells I picked and there are some stupid ones. I wonder If I can study all the book outside, I mean If it's okay to borrow the books.

let's try talking to Alice later. 

Speaking of Alice I wonder what she was doing right now. That angel is naughty....Ahem, I can't speak badly to angels right? or else I will suffer divine retribution.

"Achoo!"Alice sneezed. She rub her nose with her hand.

"Alice are you okay?"Shina worriedly asked.

"Yeah, Am I sick or something? No, that shouldn't be...."Alice said, As she said. Her body could not get sick. She's not a human and her body is immune to an illness, she was puzzled why she sneezed.

"Hmm, I think someone is talking about you?"Shina said with a smile.

"Eh, Who?"Alice asked shina with wondered look. Alice thought everyone she got acquainted with, but couldn't find anyone ould talk about her behird her back.

Shina smiled mysteriously.

Unaware of what is happening in the 2nd floor. I just resumed what am I doing. 

Although, honestly picking books are a bit boring, but all of this is necessary for my growth. I can't help it, being lazy is my forte but I feel like I shouldn't be lazy at this moment or I might regret it.

I have so many doubts of my heart desire and this situations. Why did I even reincarnated in this body in the first place?

There are so many bodies I could possess yet I was sent to this body. There must be a reason for this.

I have speculated so many scenarios I could think of.

The first is, God erased my memories about interacting with him.

Second, Someone's scheme, They extracted my soul on my body and put it in shido's body.

Third, The most frightening one. I became a puppet of some powerful organization.

And etc. All of this are just my speculation, no concrete proof.

Chikushodo family, have so many secrets the world did not know about. There must someone that is interested on their secrets hence I was sent here. God, I really became paranoid of this situation.

If only you could tell me what is really happening. I release a big sigh on my mind.

I stopped picking books and was thinking such thoughts. I sighed, What am I doing. Let's ignore all of it and do whatever I want.

To tell the truth, I hate being used or manipulated. I rather kill myself if I found was being used. But, I would not die a pointless death, I will pull all the people who are using me to hell.


Using me, manipulating me, betraying me and hurting my love ones is something I could not tolerate. Anyone will pay if something all those I mention above
happened, even if you are god or devil itself. 

A terrifying glints in my eyes. A powerful resolution in my heart. My heart desire quivered seeing such poweful resolve coming from me. 

The heart desire trembled because it recieved my intent. 'If you are using me, I will reap my heart out of my body, I don't care if I die! Think of what you are doing because if something happened I couldn't tolerate and you are the cause! I'm not a forgiving person when it comes to hurting my love ones'

Behind me, the black book suddenly lit up and a large magic circle expanded below my feet. I suddenly snapped out in my profound state as I tried to run aay from this magic circle.

Did the black book got annoyed because I'm ignoring for a while now. Hey, it's not my fault for being suspicious. If only you didn't follow me around where ever I go, I might come back where you are because I might think you are a bit mysterious. I like mysterious stuff, but if you keep following me around is not mystery anymore but suspicious and scary.

I wanted to run but, the android robot suddenly pushed me towards the book. It suddenly caught me off guard, what the fuck! I look at the robot and notice it's light became red. Shit! it was controlled?

But, I'm not helpless I tried using my power but something dreadful happened. I could not release my energy from my body. 

Wait! is that magic circle's doing. It can negate my power? How did it know I have power in the first place.

Damn, there is no time thinking about that. My hand already touched the black book.

I sighed, Fuck!

Suddenly my view distorted, I instinctively closed my eyes. It was hurting my eyes and head. When I open my eyes. I realized I'm floating in space, I used my hand to cover my mouth.

But, then suddenly I could breathe normally. 

"Where the hell am I?"I said, looking around. 

I tried moving my body but It was super difficult to do so.

Could not even use my power.

That's what happened, I spent my time reading books in this space. The android robot came with me with the books so I used the oppurtunity to read the books. 

I don't feel hunger. Thanks to that, When I'm meditating I could concentrate all my might.

The meditation worked, I'm really happy. So I just spent my time in this space reading books or meditating.

There were people auction off the people in the cages or just selling them. It turns out that this city has a slave market. There were a bunch of cages numbered around 50 cages with 5 people in each cage. The cages were on both sides of the road towards the Northern Gate. There were some Beast People, Dwarves, Elves but most of the slaves were Humans.  As I get closer to the cages, I see a bunch of the slave with dead like eyes that had no life in them, almost 40% of them were even children. They were still alive but its like they had no soul in them anymore. The ones with no life in their eyes had injures and bruises all over their bodies. It was like they were abused none stop for weeks.
After looking at them, I started remembering about my past. When I was a little kid, my acoholic father would usually beat me everyday but he would beat me where it could be hidden and not able to been seen by others. My mother was no where to be seen, she left my father when I was four. She abandoned me for no reason and because she left us, my father changed from the person he once was. 
I was always a smart kid when I was young. I loved to learn about history, human anatomy, martial arts, war and philosphy. I loved to go to the library to educate myself from such books.  I found joy in reading books and learning because it took my mind off the pain and my abusive father.
After educating myself from all of the books I read, I learned that I should never give up on myself and I should never wait for a hero to save me one day,and that I should take matters into my own hands. That's when I made a plan from a war book I once read. Where it said that guerilla soldiers would lay prepared and attack their enemies when they would least expects it. So, I made a plan and decide to take action and hold my destiny in my hands.
  After my father finished beating me one day,I waited for him to turn away from me. I then took out a meat cleaver that I hidden, and cleave at both of his achille's heel which I learned about from a human anatomy book. When it achille's heels were cut, he came tumbling over. He fell, he turned over to face me, and that's when I came over to him and started to cleave his head. After 10 blows, he died and after 5 years of abuse, I was finally free. 
At the age of 15, I was finally free from abuse and I felt like I had control and I never had to cower in fear again. After I killed my father, I was found innocent in court from the evidence of abuse I have suffer, and eventually I even join the army and even became the youngest Special Forces soldier.
After thinking about my past, I started to shake those thoughts away, since the past is the past, and I should focus on the future. I was about to turn away but the memories of my past self stopped me. When I look at the abused slave children again, I see my past self  and I hate seeing my self in them. 
I decided to change their fates because I know of the suffering they recieve and I will help them change their fate with their own hands. I then sent commands to the HIVE Satelitte to focus on the slaves and to track them all and the people who buy and sell them because once it's night time, it's terror time for these insufferable bugs.
After sending commands to my satelitte, I started walking away from the slave market. While walking away I started thinking of the fun that was going to happen to night. That when I heard a Ding.

When I heard that, I then realized that I now have 2,900 Ultron Sentries at my beck and call. I have also been in this world for 3 days now. 
I then head towards the nearest inn I could find. It took me 10 minutes to find an inn and it was called the Zalos Inn with the image of a bed on the sign in front of the inn. As I approach the inn, I could hear people being joyous and having fun. Once I stepped through the inn's doors, the crowd inside turned their heads towards me and once they saw me it became dead silent inside. 
Out of nowhere, I felt a tug on my Akatsuki cloak, and I turned my head downwards to see what was tugging my cloak. I saw a little girl who looks to be around 7 years old in a little dress. The little girl spoke to me without fear and a smile on her face.
"Would you and your friends like to rent some rooms for the night?" said the little girl
"Yes, I would like 5 rooms for us." I said to her
"That's great. That will be...ummm." said the little girl while counting her fingers to figure out the cost of the rooms.
While I was waiting a girl who looks to be 16 came over to use after give some drinks and food to some customers.
"That will be 20 Bronze coins" said the teenage hostess
"Ok" I said while taking out 20 bronze coins and handing them to her
"Alright Anna, take these gentlemen to their rooms" said the teenage hostess while handing 5 key to the little girl named Anna
"Okay-dokey, Sista Tina" said Anna cheerfully
"Also, if you want breakfast or dinner you will have to buy it, since it doesn't come with the room." said Tina
Then the little girl Anna took us to our rooms on the third floor of the inn.

I just watched Avenger: Age of Ultron in the theater . After watching I wished I was Ultron with his abilities and intelligence but when I was making that wish I was dying

Raymond was about to start the "date" that would change his life forever. However in order for his "date" to be a success, Raymond needed to execute all of the steps of his plan. Unfortunately, the first step of his plan had already failed, but he still had many more steps to go, so it was possible for him to make up for his failure. Raymond had two goals for his little "date": to find out Miss Interpretation's name and to woo her over, or at the very least become friends with her. The latter goal was of the uttermost importance to Raymond because he had a fear that in the near future his teacher would change the class seating arrangements and he wouldn't be able to talk to Miss Interpretation anymore. Plus, he didn't know if he was ever going to be able to meet with Miss Interpretation outside of class after this. Suffice to say, Raymond felt that if he didn't make his shot here count, he would never be able to get with Miss Interpretation.

At this point Raymond had just entered the Cafeteria with Miss Interpretation following him. Thanks to Raymond's outlandish statement just moments prior, there was a sense of awkwardness lurking in the air between the two of them.

Miss Interpretation, clearly wanting to do away with the awkwardness, decided to say, "So how about we order our food?"

"Sounds like a good idea." 

When the two of them went into the line to order their food, Raymond felt as if Miss Interpretation had just played herself right into his trap. That trap of course being the second step of his plan. A trap that would unleash a real zinger.

Step 2: Hit Her with a Real Zinger and She'll Hit on You

Like the last step, this step was simple: just tell a joke. People love jokes, so it would make sense that a good joke had the ability to win over a woman's heart. Raymond was determined to have a date with destiny and a honeymoon with hilarity.

Raymond began to think about the jokes he was going to tell.

(What's a good thing about a black Asian?

They can't drive the cars that they steal!)

(Wait, that joke's way too offensive to tell her. I need to think of something else.)

(What's the difference between a girl's argument and a knife?

The knife has a point!)

(Oh god, that might actually offend her. Hmmm…. I need to think of something that isn't offensive that would humor her.)

(Hey girl, I'm sorry to tell you, but my dick is only two inches...

From the ground!)

(Dios mío, a girl my age probably isn't going to like that kind of dirty humor.)

Raymond kept trying to think up jokes that weren't dirty or horribly offensive, but regardless of how hard he tried he couldn't think up a single clean joke.

Truth be told, despite having studied his steps to the the point where he wrote them down and tried to memorise them as if they were his final exams, Raymond hadn't thought up a specific joke to tell. He did this because he thought that he had a catalog of impressive zingers stored up in his brain that were sure to make Miss Interpretation die of laughter. But Raymond soon realized that he was wrong. While he was right when he thought that he had a catalog of jokes, his catalog didn't contain the kind of jokes that he thought a girl his age would like.

Soon Raymond and Miss Interpretation reached the front of the line and were ready to order. Raymond, not wanting to abandon the second step of his plan, tried to quickly think up a joke. He searched his mind looking for word puns and contemporary issues and after some thinking Raymond thought up a profound and hilarious zinger.

"Hey, Is t-the s-stock market an old PC? Because it loves to CRASH!"

Miss Interpretation responded by saying,

"Gotcha…."

There wasn't a hint of amusement in her voice. In fact, she probably didn't even think that was a joke. Though the old chef behind the counter grinned at Raymond's little wisecrack. While the chef's grin did give Raymond some solace, it ultimately meant very little to him. Raymond wanted to be a charmer of women; not the comedy king of his local retirement home.

After ordering and picking up their food Raymond and Miss Interpretation waited in line to pay.

While in line, Miss Interpretation said to Raymond, "Hey, I have to go to the restroom. Can you save my spot?"

"S-sure."

As Raymond waited for Miss Interpretation to return, Raymond looked around the cafeteria. As he did, he noticed a freezer that contained all sorts of frozen treats. Raymond wanted to get something in it very badly, so he asked someone to save his spot, and went up to the freezer. While there, he saw an It's-It and couldn't stop himself from taking it. This cafeteria allowed you to eat sweets before paying for them (granted that you showed them the wrapper afterwords) and Raymond wanted to eat the it's-it right there and then. He peeled open the top part of the wrapper and right before he was about to take a bite out of it, he heard a female voice call out,

"So did you get someone else to save our spot?"

Of course, it was Miss Interpretation. Raymond's heart jolted and he hid the delicious treat behind his back because he didn't want his crush to know of his unhealthy eating habits.

Raymond responded, "Don't worry, I got someone to save our spot. He's the guy in the brown T-shirt over there."

Raymond pointed his finger at the man and Miss Interpretation looked away in the direction Raymond pointed. Raymond used this as an opportunity to put the It's-It in the back zipper pocket of his backpack. When Miss Interpretation turned back to Raymond, she looked at the freezer and said,

"Wow it looks like they got a bunch of It's-Its in there. Wonderful! I'm not in the mood for it now, but I love It's-Its."

At this point, Raymond thought it would be a good idea for him to tell Miss Interpretation that he had just bought an It's-It.

But then Miss Interpretation said, "Though it looks like a bunch of them got crushed during the shipping and handling process. What a shame. I question how some people can be so careless with their products."

(And I question how the hell you can keep up your figure while occasionally shoving It's-Its down your pie trap.)

Considering that he had an it's-it wasting away in his backpack, Raymond didn't think would be a good idea to bring up that he had just bought one.

After that little debacle Raymond and Miss Interpretation were about to pay for their food. Raymond got out double the amount of money he needed to pay for his food and was ready to execute the third step of his plan.

Step 3: If You Want a Girl to Like You: Just Buy Her Shit

This step was to simply pay for both of their meals. Miss Interpretation was sure to appreciate how much of a nice guy he was and fall for him.

(Now, time to face an attack I like to call "Supreme Selflessness: Roaring Eagle".)

Raymond said to Miss Interpretation, "Hey, I'm sorry for waiting outside for so long. I'd like to repay you by paying for both of our meals."

In Raymond's head his words had just sent out a virtuous eagle who was sure to come back carrying Miss Interpretation's love.

(People are so simple: just pay them and their animalistic urges for wealth and security will surely turn them on!)

Miss Interpretation responded, "I'd prefer to pay for myself. I'd feel pretty bad if you used your precious money on me and not on something more important. I didn't mind the wait that much so it's not like you owe me anything."

Raymond's birdie had been shot down.

Raymond and Miss Interpretation soon found a table to sit down at and it was now time to work on the project. 

The project that they were working on was a short project that consisted of two parts. The first part consisted of both partners writing down how the the main character of the novel they were reading actions connected to the novel's deep narrative theme of relatability. The point of this was to have some eye-opening experience where you were supposed to see how people aren't so different from one-another after all. But of course, it was total bullshit. Raymond was certain no one learned anything from this project other than how to use mental gymnastics so you could get ANY quote to fit your analysis. The second part of the project however, required a partner, as you needed to ask your partner some questions and tie their answers into the theme of relatability. This was supposed to be done so you could see the theme of relatability in real-life, and see how similar people really are. Of course, this was also bullshit. Fortunately for Raymond, he had prepared pretty nicely for this project. He was sure that Miss Interpretation was going to ask questions to test his manhood like, "What's your greatest life achievement?" To which he would respond, "I don't know. I'd have to spend all day sifting through all of my excellent life achievements in order to answer that." Or maybe she'd try to figure out what he's interested in and ask, "What kind of music do you listen to?" And he would respond, "I usually listen to the symphonies of Beethoven. I also listen to a bit of Mozart before I'm about to go to bed." Raymond had done a lot of research on high art, so any question about his interests would be no challenge. Raymond felt that as long as a question wasn't too broad and didn't force him to tell too big of a lie: he was fine.

However, now that Raymond and Miss Interpretation were staring face to face, Raymond started feeling the war inside his body again, and anxiety overcame him once more. While Raymond had gotten much less nervous around Miss Interpretation since that first day of school, Raymond still couldn't help but feel nervous because of how high the stakes were. It seemed that for whatever reason Raymond's training with his Sonic plushie barely helped his nerves. The reasons for this were seemingly endless. Maybe it was because Raymond didn't train hard enough. Maybe it was because he didn't train long enough. Or maybe it was because he trained with a fucking plushie of Sonic the Motherfucking Hedgehog.

Miss Interpretation asked her first question, "What is your favorite book?"

"I-it… umm.. uh … It's Dostoevsky's Cr-Crime and Punishment."

Raymond tried thinking of ways to control his nerves once more so he hopefully wouldn't spaghetti all over the place later. He stared into the eyes of the inquisitive demon who unknowingly was trying to drag him into the pits of an embarrassment inferno and thought,

Miss Interpretation asked, "So what do you do in your freetime?"

And that was when Raymond realized that if Miss Interpretation was an android: she was the Terminator.

Luckily, the next step of Raymond's plan would help him smoothly get by the Terminator's deadly question.

Step 4: Build Confidence by Impressing Her With a Dazzling Outfit Tha- Wait a Minute

Raymond looked down and realized that he had been so eager to get to their meetup early that he forgot to dress nicely. Instead of wearing something like a nice polo shirt, he was wearing the stereotypical virgin hoodie. He would have taken it off if it wasn't for the fact that underneath his sweatshirt he wore a T-shirt that had Sonic the Hedgehog on it saying his famous line from the end of Sonic CD: "You're too cool!" (Perhaps the greatest compliment Raymond had ever received).

But that's enough about Raymond's poor fashion choices. Raymond needed to say something.

Raymond responded, "Ummmm… I uhhh…"

Over the the next second Raymond thought up a hurricane.

Raymond was facing a moment of weakness. He started feeling useless because of his inability to talk to his crush. His mind began to drift and he started to think about how much of a better job inanimate objects would do in his position.

(Would a light bulb be having a mental breakdown right now? Of course not: it's a light bulb. Hell, just think about all the things a light bulb can do. In addition to not having anxiety driven fits, light bulbs are very bright, useful to others, And get screwed.)

Raymond's mind began to drift even more. He thought about the the traits that the great man who invented the light bulb, Thomas Edison, had.

(And who was Thomas Edison? An old white dude! Wait, old dude? That's it!)

Raymond remembered two things his old man once told him and it gave him the courage to give a response.

Raymond answered, "I hike, swim, and read books in my free time."

Step 5: Bullshit it till you make it (Or at Least I Think That's the Quote)

(Wait, my old man's saying was,"Fake it till you make it.")

Raymond knew if he shared anything about what he does in his free time it'd be embarrassing, so he decided to lie and pretend to be a normie. If he did this he wouldn't have to keep up any really elaborate lies that would result disaster. Though he kinda wished he was a normie. Locking himself in his room did get boring sometimes.

"Okay, cool." Miss Interpretation responded.

And Raymond wished that Miss Interpretation found his lies about being a normie to be something grand. Though the fact that she said "cool" did show that he was moving in the right direction.

Raymond's bandaged up birdie, rolling his eyes at Raymond's interactions, reluctantly chalked up another half a point for Raymond's side.

But now it was time for Raymond to do his part and ask Miss Interpretation some questions. This was an easy task as Miss Interpretation had given Raymond a handful of mysteries for him to try and solve.

Raymond asked, "So what were you planning on doing this Friday evening? Was it important?"

And so Raymond began his investigation into the mysterious life of Miss Interpretation.

Although Kazuya was glad that he found Autumn Mist, his eyebrows couldn't stop twitching. He finally understood why people like FriedKandule messed with her. She donned herself in items that could only be obtained by buying the premium access to the game combined with a fashion pack that was so overpriced that even veteran gamers refused to get it. 

"Really this girl…"

He remembered this girl to be quite picky about what equipment she would use. She would always scold him if he wore different types of equipment that didn't match and he would have arguments with her for not wearing better equipment just because she didn't like the way it looked on her character.

Fried Kandule's character looked like he noticed the girl moving on the field noobishly as well. Her character was supposed to be a close combat mage but she was casting spells from a distance and running away as soon as enemies came close. Being a normal player who couldn't afford such luxurious things, Fried Kandule of course thought that it was a waste to that newbie have those kinds of items. 

Kazuya hid near the trees as Fried Kandule approached Autumn Mist and the monsters she was attacking. The bulky swordsman gave a helping hand and eliminated the stray goblins that were attracted by her AoE attacks. He was experienced and the enemies were weak so the battle ended pretty quickly.

[Autumn Mist: Thank you for your help!]

[Fried Kandule: No need to thank me little missy. Are you new to this game?]

[Autumn Mist: Yes! this is my very first time playing this game]

[Fried Kandule: do you want to know a secret? You can get stronger by removing the newbie protection icon at the lower right portion of your screen]

[Fried Kandule: That's right. You're given a protection when you start the game that lasts until you're a few levels higher. The protection itself acts as a limiter to reduce your strength so you can get a good grasp of the game. Removing it will enable the full power of the spells you've learned]

[Autumn Mist: I was wondering why my spells were so weak as a magician. So that was the reason! How do I remove it?]

She of course trusted this seemingly helpful experienced player. This was very much unlike the person who was skeptical over trusting new players she met. Kazuya smiled and moved his character to stop in between the two. He started typing quickly to make her stop the mistake that cost her to not play the game for a while.

[Winter Fog: Please don't be fooled. If you deactivate your newbie protection, not only will you lose protection from being killed by other players, but you also lose any bonus experience you get from doing quests]

Since this was a game, he really wasn't able to see if the person got the message so he watched the shield icon when he analyzed her character. It was still present so he glad that she hesitated.

[Fried Kandule: Hey who are you? Why are you trying to fool other players?]

[Winter Fog: Fool other players? The descriptions of the protection buff can be found if you read the website. Also, your name has been mentioned in the forums for victimizing new players and ticking them into removing the buff to kill and rob them. I'm sure you will be suspended or banned soon enough]

Fried Kandule's character remained motionless. He must have checked the forums to find out if what Kazuya said was true. He did indeed trick a few new players but didn't think they would go as far as make a big issue out of it in the forums. Being a beta player, he had much to lose if his account gets suspended.

[Winter Fog: Please be careful of people like this in the future. You can always double check by looking up information on the official site or the forums. You were lucky I was nearby to hear this or you may have lost some of the expensive items on you] 

He talked to the silent warmage. He knew that she had been observing since the idle icon still hadn't appeared. 

[Autumn Mist: Thank you for your help and advice. I almost fell for it because of my stupidity]

[Winter Fog: Don't worry about it. We all have our own starting point. This is my first day playing as well but I did read through some of the things I wanted to make sure of. It's people like that guy that make new players not want to play so I hope you're not discouraged]

[Autumn Mist: because of your timely help, I think I can continue to try. Thank you very much]

Kazuya smiled. He confirmed that this was the same girl he met. This was the second time he's had this conversation and she reacted in the exact same way. He was happy, he still had doubts that the original owner of such an account may have given it to the person he met so he was glad that this was the same Autumn Mist in his past life. 

[Fried Kandule: You son of a @#@%^! You were one of the people who reported me!]

After checking the forums, the swordsman was once again active and tried to swing his sword at Kazuya's character. He was of course repelled instantly because of the protection buff.

[Fried Kandule: F@#% you! If you're a man face me!]

[Autumn Mist: Don't do it winter. He can't do anything to you unless you remove your protection]

[Fried Kandule: Shut up you noob! Just because you have your protection doesn't mean I can't do anything. I can always show up and kill all the monster you even try to attack. You'll be stuck in the newbie village for a long time and when your protection is gone I'll make sure to get the items you don't—]

The swordsman's continued threats were cut short as a short blade pierced his chest. His hit points immediately plummeted to a dangerous level and it was only then that he understood that he had chosen the wrong person to provoke. The rogue didn't even need to use a skill and another attack immediately sent his character falling to the ground. 

[Winter Fog: I don't have time to harass you but I will kill you every time I see you. You like to rob and threaten others? If I ever hear from my friend here that you even came close to her then I will hunt down every single person associated with you]

He picked up the equipment the swordsman dropped and walked back to the warmage. 

[Autumn Mist: Wow you're pretty strong!]

[Winter Fog: Not really. It's my weapon that's pretty nice. I practiced a few crafting skills to make weapons for myself. Speaking of that…]

Kazuya initiated a trade and gave her a spear he made for her character. She had very nice equipment but her weapon was still of a newbie. 

[Winter Fog: Think of it as a present for our very first meeting. This will help you get stronger and do quests faster]

[Autumn Mist: Are you sure? I really don't know how to thank you]

[Winter Fog: It's just one of the few items I made to practice crafting. I'm not a warmage so I have no use for it so it would be more useful in your hands. If you need any help don't hesitate to contact me]

Kazuya added her a s friend and she accepted quickly. He wanted to spend more time with this friend of his after a long time but decided not to push it. she might feel overwhelmed if he acted like he used to and scare her off. He decided to go back to town to do quests while keeping an eye out for people he needed to find.

[Autumn Mist: Wait!]

[Winter Fog: Do you need something else?]

[Autumn Mist: Umm… Are you busy?]

[Autumn Mist: Please don't think I'm weird or anything. I'm really not used to playing these kinds of games and I only tried this one out because it was given to me for free. I'm happy to have met a person who read one of my favorite books and even named their character after one of its most interesting chapters]

[Autumn Mist: You don't need to worry about that! I can only play during night time as well. So we're pretty much the same right? It's weird… it's like this isn't a coincidence]

Needless to say, Kazuya had succeeded and the two hit it off. He showed her the ropes and even gave her advice about playing the game. It felt like old times only he was the one who was doing the teaching. He didn't consider himself to be one of the top players when he played, but he was knowledgeable enough to play through the game's content until a few years later. 

The two played together every night. Kazuya had kept an eye out but the game was too big for him to find one of them soon. New games always have high attendance when they are released and it takes a while before those who were just here to try it out were gone. It took him three days until he was finally able to find one of the targets. 

This person's IGN (In Game Name) was Void Android. He was a person who made it big but at a great cost. No one believed in the technology of artificial intelligence. As a person who mastered in both psychology and programming, it was his dream to develop an AI system that would respond like a human would. This dreamer was known in the future as the father of human-like androids.

In his autobiography, he confessed to have sold all his assets including his house just to fund his research. His wife had left him because of it and married another man before he could get a company to support and release his research. This was his biggest regret. 

He played an online game to go back to his roots and to think a about why he started his project in the first place. Kazuya hesitated before entering the last message. He knew little about what Autumn Mist did in real life. She would always make a clear separation between game and real life and hardly ever mentioned it but this version of her initiated an inquiry about Kazuya's life outside of the game.

Kazuya was telling the truth but he didn't mind her not believing him. He may appear to be a six-year-old but his mental age was a lot older. The person behind Autumn Mist wouldn't meet with him in the real world anyway so he didn't mind it at all. 

[Void Android: Excuse me! Are the both of you looking for party members?]

Kazuya almost forgot about this person. Since they were near a dungeon, a lot of people were gathering up so Void Android chose to approach the two of them since they were the only ones missing a member. The first dungeon could be completed by one or two people but there would be more rewards if there were more people. Kazuya and Autumn Mist already cleared this dungeon so they were not in a hurry to try again.

[Winter Fog: We were actually just discussing finding new friends since we've only been playing with just us two. Since you're a healer, then it would help us a lot if you joined us]

[Void Android: It would be a pleasure. Though you should rethink it if you want to party up with me for a long time. I only play during nights because of my research]

For my vacation I have decided to go to the orphanage because I feel lonely at my home so I have decided to adopt a pair of twin sisters Zero and Ophis

Speaking of virtual mech models I have decided to publish Blade Liger and all my previous designs in Iron Spirit now I am working on creating 2 training mechs which will be Based on Android 17 and 18 respectively which will both have a knight variant using sword and shield having the basic features of Heatcliff such as using sword skills 

And finally it is now the start of canon where Ves received the Mech Designer System so I decided to send him a copy of Heaven's Path Soul Art which will give him greater and purer spirituality to establish a new friendship and Ark Reactor License for his career 


I have decided to accept the offer to me to teach at the rival school of Ansel to gain access to the libraries at their school to supplement the knowledge from my company's database and further explanation and variety of books which I will update when I arrive at the school from my com
because even if the knowledge that I can offer is advanced I don't have enough books regarding the basics from the different perspectives which will make each designer unique furthermore teaching students can help spread my design philosophy and see things from a different angle like that of  mech designers  my company is already strong enough to contend with the other companies even with out me so I can make use of this to make my employees practice their skills and gain experience 

After entering the class I decided to introduce myself as their new teacher my will be regarding the basics of the structure of mech specifically humanoid mechs.

First regardless of what type of mech you are going to design such as rifleman, swordsman, knight or other types of humanoid mechs you must first plan the internal structure for that I decided use both Android 17 and 18's schematics as the illustration of the topic why because it emphasize the perfect foundation which you can modify it depending on the type of mech you are going to design it achieve balance which will create the initial parameters of the mech it will also serve as reference when designing a weapon specifically made for your mech so that's all for today

The sunlight coming from the window shone on the figure covered in fuzzy blankets. In this country, winter lasted long and traces of sun could be rarely seen, which led to the development of the holographic sun. This sun was used to determine the position of the sun during the day, and it also warmed up the city, keeping the area assigned to it warm. 

Alra slowly sat up in his comfy bed, still rolled up in the blanket looking dazed. Waking up has always been a challenge to him, ever since he was small. "Today is maintenance day..." he mumbled as he struggled out of his bed. His body which peaked out of the blanket was thin but powerful. In this age, all houses had high tech warming system, so he slowly put his foot onto the warm carpet flooring which was heated from beneath. 

"Alra, good morning!"a cheery voice greeted him. He looked up to see his android assistant Zan, who was a good looking man with black hair and blue eyes, looking at him expectantly as if waiting for an answer. "Good morning Zan, how are you feeling today?"he replied in a quiet voice. "Feeling fine, found a few viruses while I was scanning on the network, also checked your mails as usual. I sorted them out for you the way you taught me. Do you want me to get you some breakfast?"Zan replied as he took out a comb to brush Alra's messy red hair. Alra was already used to the way Zan acted to he simply sat there, trying to wake up as Zan straightened out his hair in a gentle manner. Even though Alra allowed his android to have free will, he never expected to have an android who acted like his whole living reason was to dote on Alra by his side...

"Zan, I want fried eggs." Alra said as the movement of the comb stopped. Zan looked at him happily, as he nodded. He exited the room in a good mood.
After watching Zan leave, Alra opened his holographic screen to check the mails. Zan had already separated the important ones from others. He sighed as he looked at the number of messages in the spam box. "People never change no matter how much technology improves..." he muttered. Using his slender long fingers, he quickly went to the inbox for the company mails. Most of them was about how good the game sales were, some of them were requesting him to make a public debut. "Blazing Garden" was a company where the employees never saw the president in life. Most meetings were done in voice chat, if it was a video chat, president would send his assistant to replace him. Since the game release, "Blazing Garden" met in game to do the company meetings and this was followed by other companies as well.

"Guess I will join a meeting in-game."he muttered, as he started clicking on the holographic keyboard. This matter reminded him that he was still level 1... He was depressed after not finding any friends, and logged off. Who would have expected, after logging off that day he had to deal with company business, which lead him to be unable to play again. Now that a month had passes since the launch, everyone was at least level 30.
This thought made his hands stop. If the company president came using a level one character, won't this be an embarrassment in front of all the employees was the thought on his head. He quickly started typing on a new window, mentioning he didn't have time to level yet to the employees, and wrote out that after he was at least level 20, he would start joining company meetings in-game. After sending out the mail to the assistant he had in the company, he felt a gaze on him. He turned back to see Zan staring at him with a tray in his hand.
"I have brought breakfast." Zan answered happily as he set the tray on the work desk in the room. "Zan after eating I will play games, so you can do as you wish." Alra said to Zan as he sat down on the work desk. "Alra, is it possible for androids to play that game you made?" Zan asked curiously. Alra looked at Zan, a look of surprise was on his face. "Well... I never expected for an android to have interest in it, since most of them are not equipped with self development and freedom to choose."he answered. "In the future, I will try to see if you can play with me. Have patience until I reach end game content though."seeing Zan having a dejected look, Alra quickly added.

Zan seemed to be satisfied by this answer, his usual smile returned to his face. Alra started eating the breakfast in front of him. He was always eating quickly, so his plate was clean after a few minutes. He slowly took the gaming helmet to his hands. "Zan, I will be playing for a few days, so don't worry about my food."he said as he placed the helmet on his head.
Suddenly, he was in a lush forest. Looking around him, he realized how empty the area was. "I guess a month of inactivity really left me behind everyone else."he muttered as he opened up the system menu. 

Lifegiving Blaze, Level 1 Angel Priest (No Path), his status menu was same as a month before. After seeing there were no changes, he looked at the skill menu to see only one skill was available to him as a Level 1 player. "Holy Flame" was the spell available for all priests after their creation. "Following the guidance of the holy one, priests burns their enemies for 12 fire damage. If the enemy is from demonic origins, 12 holy damage is added."was the information given about this spell. Alra placed the spell into the action bar screen he had, just in case his set up was not working well. After that, he used the racial skill of angel race "Hide Wings" which allowed them to blend in with others. System 01 once said red wings were only available to him, so he has been hiding them ever since he started the game.

He started walking around the forest, looking for the quest giver. There was supposed to be a quest around here somewhere. As he was walking he noticed flowers growing around the area. He was not busy anyway, even though he wanted to level up, he still wanted to enjoy the game rather than racing to the end. So he bent down to pick the flower. "Lifegiving Blaze gained the Herb Collecting skill! The skill is now available on Profession Skills page." The voice of the system said in a cheerful voice. This was a setting where the System would directly announce inside the head of the player. He knew this voice. System had many avatars, which led to each avatar having different voices and personalities. These avatars were assigned to different duties. System 01, was assigned to Character Creation Helper duty a month ago. Perhaps the main system changed her duty to "System Voice" now. Alra felt happy. He was happy to see that the system he developed was working the way intended. 
He opened the Professional Skills page, to see Herb Collecting skill which was currently Level 1. This skill was a group of skills, as he leveled the main skill, other skills would level as well. His eyes rested on a skill, which seemed useful. 

"Herb Detection now active."a calm voice sounded in his head. It was possible to activate skills just by thinking about it. Alra knew from the game forum that players usually shout out the skill name rather than simply thinking. "Guess they haven't found out about this yet."he muttered. 
After that, he continued walking, as he collected the flowers and herbs around him. He saw few players around but none of them paid attention to him. A Level 1 player wouldn't drop anything decent and wouldn't give PvP points. In other words, killing Alra was a waste of time. 
After a long time of gathering herbs, Alra reached his destination, in front of him was a man who was covered in blood, holding on a box. The man seemed to notice him as his eyes lit up.
"Hey, young man, can you help this poor villager with his dying wish?"he said in a pained voice as he tried to give the box to him. 'You have received a Quest for the first time! You can find your quests in the Contract Book."the cheerful voice of the system sounded. "I will." Alra said, as he took the box. "Last Wish" was the name of this quest and the requirement was to deliver the box to the daughter of this villager. This was the quest to lead players to the starting village where more quests and starter professions awaited.

Alra took the box, and looked back at the man who was stabbed by a cheap dagger. It looked like he was attacked by some poor bandits. He wanted to see if he could heal an NPC but he didn't have any healing spells yet. The game allowed players to make their own decisions as they would do in real life. Their actions could trigger new quests made up by the system or new rewards from the system. "I can kill some wolves in the forest to level up."he thought, and took the box into his inventory. "I will return shortly."he promised the man.
The forest was filled with low level creatures such as bears and wolves. There were some Elite creatures which dropped quality items, materials, skill books or pets. This forest only had one and it was Level 10. Low level players had to run once they saw it because they were no match for that monstrosity. Alra went deeper into the forest once again, trying to be cautious as he collected herbs. The path behind him was filled with charred corpses of animals and his inventory was filled with herbs and items such as wolf meat, bear claw, fur, leather and few pieces of copper. His greatest loot was the low quality sword looted from a wolf though. The game did not limit the weapons to class. There were different stats for each but each class could use all weapons available. The ability of the player was the main point. Skills could be made by the system specific to the player capability. Priests who had no melee skills could gain a skill by using a weapon in professional way. This was also a way to promote the importance of real life skills in the game. 
Alra had already lived for 418 years. He trained with many masters and had mastered most of the weapons and martial arts. His way of living was not hinting at his skill though. The basic healing skill "Holy Touch" was available at level 5. He was already level 3, a level he gained by killing animals in the forest. His equipment was still the set with 0 stats, which was acquired by creating a character. The players would gain new equipment after questing in the village for a while, but Alra had started levelling by killing monsters just to test if he could get a hidden quest from the dying villager NPC. He looked at the sword dissapointedly, at least it was a bit more satisfactory than the starter level staff given to each priest. The weapon he liked the most was swords after all. "A bit more then I can finally go back..."he sighed as he went even more deeper into the forest, unaware of the warning sign next to the tree near him.

Alra Bilen has been alive for more than 400 years because of the gift of the Goddess of Life. Without any friends, he drifted all around the world, after settling down and creating his own multiplayer game in order to meet with people who would accept him. 
After the launch, he realized... Just playing the game was not enough as he forgot the basics of communicating during the 400 years of loneliness.
As his character sat on the throne of the Northern Continent, he looked at his friend list with teary eyes.
System 01 looked at her creator with a sad expression.”System 01 will keep respected creator company until he can find friends.”

Third Person POV:

"Date 4'th of June, 2038.
Experiment of Project C12...*sigh* Once again a failure.  The structure and data base within the brain of the newly made droid is... unfortunately dysfunctional. The Android's human like brain has simply to little power or blood like ours does. If I could attach a heart like object to it, that sends appropriate levels of energy that could or may make the droids brain jump start and begin to function on its own..*removes classes and rubs the bridge of her nose.* but there is insufficient information about how or why the body of this droid simply doesn't work. I will investigate further later on once I get my superiors to analyze and correct the data. Ugh." The girl briefly glanced at her computer which had stored and recorded her words. The Android which was nothing but machine at the moment laid dormant on a steel table next to her. It had no eyes and looked like a skeleton, all of its insides open for inspection. The entire lab was in disarray, papers scattered everywhere along with books, it seemed as if a hurricane had made its way through it. Tools laid around the Droid like a shield. The girl on the other hand looked neat and tidy. The door opened on the other side of the room and a young man with and old lady walked in.
"Oh, Riley, your still up? How is that project of yours going?" The old lady addressed the young girl, she smiled her eyes glittering.
" Not so good, Dr. Tamer. The droids brain keeps shorting out or it simply doesn't want to work. Infact I had planned to ask for your insistence. But it's late so I won't bother you." Riley says smiling apologetically.
" Oh no, let's take a look then." The doctor says, using her crane to walk forward the young man nodded in greeting and left the room as the doctor reached the table she began to fiddle with the tools, gears and other various smaller objects were tweaked and oiled, checked and replaced. They worked well through the night but to no avail, the Android refused to budge.
"Mhm, Riley... get some rest. Take the day off." Dr. Tamer told the girl. She nodded a defeated expression clear on her face. She stood up and gave a slight smile to the Doctor. She left the building in jeans and a leather jacket. A black haired girl rushed from around the corner and gave Riley a hug nearly taking them to the ground.
"Sis!" She shouted a happy smile edged into her face.
" Lyra, you of all people know I don't like being surprised." Riley sighed and continued to walk as Lyra hung onto her like a Koala bear.  
"Watch a movie with me, sis?" Lyra asks.
"No, I've already watched so many of your movies. And I'm sure I've read the story or manga or comic." Riley says. Lyra stuck her tongue out, unhappy.
" Yeah, yeah, spoiler. Fine you don't need to come along. I'll go by myself. But I won't buy any more of those spoiling  books." Says Lyra. Riley grinned.
" Oh? And tell me, do you really think I will need your money. I have my own after all." Riley says. Lyra scoffed and jumped down from Riley's back.
" Fine. Your going home right?Then see you later." Lyra says walking away. Riley smiled and shook her head, they've always done this. Lyra always tries to blackmail Riley into going to the movies with her through one way or the other and Riley sometimes agrees but she disagrees most of the time. She almost reached her home when someone grabbed her arm and dragged her into a back alley. A knife to her throat.
"Sorry kid. But my employer doesn't want the age of computerized humans to come." A harsh sounding voice says as Riley felt her mind fading, she saw the man type on his phone as her life faded from the world.
