Calvin woke up relatively early Saturday, mainly because he had an Edwardo Serrano fan-meetup to attend at the Karpinopolis Public Library III. He had not gone to Hamilton B. Cochon's lair in three nights and hoped to return even though all he did was write nursery rhymes.
It was a hot day, but Calvin still continued wear long-sleeves to hide his aspen eyes that had began to spread down his left side after taking over the left side of his chest.
A banner stretched over the entrance reading "TODAY 5/31! 'THE BUBBLES' AND 'THE BUBBLES (SPIN-OFF) AUTHOR EDWARD SERRANO FAN-MEETUP! GROUND FLOOR, CHILDREN'S ROOM 404!" He made his way to a large conference room similar to the one where the antique/used books sale was held the last time he was there.
He was the only adult in the brightly lit and rainbow room that did not walk in with an excited tween tugging at his sleeve. An offwhite carpet in the shape of a cloud was now filled with anxious tweens. Calvin leaned near the entrance, past the other adults at a golden throne padded with red velvet towards the far wall.
There were only a minute left before the author was to appear.
Calvin sighed and stared at the throne with distaste; he hated the color red, it reminded him too much of blood.
Right as two in the afternoon struck, there was a burst of rose petals and confetti followed by an eruption of cheers from the tweens and screams from the parents. A man with dark hair appeared on throne; he sat on the backrest wearing a white beret and blue and white velvet suit with his rainbow-socked feet on the seat of the throne.
"It is, I, Edwardo Serrano." He whispered in a deep voice while batting his gorgeously long eyebrows. The tweens cheered as more rose petals and confetti sprung from his velvet sleeves. "It has been a while since I've done one of these...right?"
"Yes!" The tweens cried loudly, Calvin plugged his ears and turned his head slightly away to prevent going deaf from the high-pitched shrieks.
"Good! I---" He froze briefly to stare at a young man casually leaning against the door frame, turned slightly away with his fingers in his ears. "---I've missed you all."
"Yes!"
"It has been five months too long! Don't you all agree?"
"Yes!"
"Now, questions! I know you all have---" The crowd of tweens burst into a questions-frenzy where they all asked him about easter eggs and foreshadowing and future books. Edwardo Serrano, to Calvin's surprise, was handling the situation very well, answering all the questions in rapid succession.
However, he was still there to find 'Ed' and needed to confirm whether or not this man was his target. "He seems paranoid," Calvin said to himself, "he's always sneaking glances at me. Could...is this really the target? Is this really 'Ed'?"
Calvin remained leaning against the door frame even as the fan-meetup ended and Edwardo Serrano disappeared from the throne in a poof of rose petals and confetti. The tweens applauded at the magic trick while Calvin gazed at a door to the side which had closed itself some time in the explosion of confetti.
"Shit, I didn't get to talk to him." He muttered, and left his spot on the door frame of the conference room as tweens and parents flooded out. if he had not stepped out, he would not have realized how much of an oven the room was.
He shook his head and sighed as he made his way to the exit. As soon as he strode out the double doors, a finger tapped his shoulder.
"Huh?" Calvin gasped, only to be faced with Edwardo Serrano bearing a fake mustache.
"Hello," The author said, "I noticed you were standing outside the conference room and seemed a bit...lonely."
"Hm...I guess; but tell me..." Calvin scanned Edwardo Serrano's blue and white velvet suit with a mixture of disgust and confusion. "...are you warm?"
"I am, are you?"
Calvin nodded.
"Well, let's get something to drink, shall we?"
Calvin nodded again, beginning to walk.
"Do you like bubble tea?"
"Um...yeah." Calvin had green tea, red tea, and black tea with Z months ago, but never bubble tea. He wondered if the drink was a detail from "The Bubbles" series which he had missed.
"I can make it very well, let's go to my place."
Calvin narrowed his eyes and stopped walking. "Hm?"
"You're not a man of many words, aren't you?"
He shook his head.
"I see...actually, there's a bubble tea shop sort of near here, it's a bit farther away than my place, but it definitely makes better bubble tea than me."
"Hm."
They walked down the sidewalk in silence. Calvin sensed an uncanny air surrounding Edwardo Serrano, but could not figure out what it was. Soon, they arrived at a bubble tea shop.
The walls reminded Calvin of watermelons as they were pink on the top and lime green on the bottom. There was a white bar where a line had formed in front of it. Pink and green chairs surrounding round white tables scattered all over the floor.
"So..." began Edwardo Serrano. "...why are you---a grown man perhaps a mere ten years younger than I---doing at a fan-meetup for a children's book author?"
"Curiosity."
"That is such a lie...but what is your name?"
"Collin."
"Hm...well, you already know my name."
"Is that your real name?"
"I don't know, you tell me."

Outside the village called Konoha…

The nine-tailed fox is standing in front of a red-haired woman and looking at her with hateful eyes as he is looking at her because he was sealed inside of her for years and now she is binding her with Uzumaki chakra chains and beside her stood a man with yellow hair who is also looking at the fox with a serious look which made the fox even more angry as his hatred grew even more as he looked at the couple and tries to get free from the chains by force only to fail. He knows that the couple is up to no good and he doesn't want to find out what they are thinking to do next. So he is trying to struggle free from the binding of the chain and strikes the people in front of his eyes then leave far away from them.

"Minato don't use the reaper death seal, let's find another way. I am not going to make it for long. Think about our two innocent sons. What will happen to them when both you and I are gone? " the red-haired woman said to her husband while tears started to come out of her eyes as she looked at the two newborn children of hers. The little sons of her who were just born not that long ago and her husband is thinking of sealing the nine tails by sacrificing himself to protect the village. She knows she will die very soon as the Nine-Tails is no longer inside of her. She is not worried about herself but she is worried about her little innocent twin sons. what will happened to them if they have no one in this world? They will be orphan and grow up lonely without the care of parents. They will be hated by the people of the village and be called monster by everyone for having the Jinchuriki of a tailed beast. Just like how she had always been by everyone in the village.

"Kushina don't worry. They will be called heroes by the people of the village for stopping the Nine tails attack and becoming its host. I am sure they will.…. Also, I will seal some of my chakra inside them if something went wrong in the future with the seal I will be able to help them to guard against it.  " Minato said with full of confidence in his words as he is always a positive person and believes in people easily. He told his trust to his wife with confidence.

"Than also use some part of my soul as well in the sealing so when they need to master the chakra I can help them. Also, I want to tell them something when they grow up. " Kushina said with a sad sigh as she also knows there is no other way around it.

"Ok, I will do it. Also, I know your worries. Don't worry there are Jiraiya sensei and the Third Hokage they will take care of them in our place. " Minato said as he started to make hand seals. 

"Alright I am going to use the last bit of my chakra in it you better make it quick because I don't know how long I will be able to hold on. " Kushina said as she forced herself to use more chakra to stop the nine tails that almost got loose from her bind.

"Reaper Death Seal," Minato said as he was done making hand seals. Before he started the main sealing process he called a frog to give it the key of the seal.

"Lord forth…. Oooooww where have you called me that's the nine tails. " the frog said getting startled after seeing the fox.

"We don't have enough time here is the seal to open the seal for the Nine-Tails. Give this to my sons when they are ready. " Minato said as he gave the key and told some important things to the frog and when the whole explanation was done the frog vanished with a puff.

"Let's do this. First I will seal the yang half inside Naruto. Get ready Kushina. " Minato said as he swings the blade of the repar to cut the nine tails in half.

"Noooo…. " when the nine tails got cut in half it shouts out then suddenly the chakra chain got loose and he moved quickly and try to strike Naruto to get back his lost half only to get blocked by Kushina as she protects her child with her own body but the sad thing is she wasn't strong enough to stop the nine tails so Minato had also joined her and the huge nail of the fox got through their belly. 

"You're next Kirito. " Minato said as Kushina try to use her last amount of chakra for one last time and Minato used the last swing of his life to seal the yin half of nine tails inside his second son.

As the sealing was complete the husband and wife fall on the ground. The fourth Hokage of Konoha is no more.

Just after the nine tails vanished Sarutobi Hiruzen the third Hokage of Konoha arrived only to find out the fourth Hokage to fall on the ground as he said "Minato, Kushina. " while coming beside them.

"Lord third. " Kushina said as she had got a little life left in her body. A mother who is fighting the death itself just to see that her children are in safety. Even with a giant hole in teb stomach, she moved from under her husband beside Hiruzen.

"Kushina don't move. " Hiruzen said as he helped the red-haired girl to move a little.

"Naruto, Kirito my sons. " Kushina said while pointing at the tweens.

"Yes, they are safe. " Hiruzen said while taking her near her two sons.

"The nine tails are sealed inside of them. The Yeng half is sealed inside Naruto our elder son while the Yin half is inside Kirito his little brother. Please take care of them. Minato said they will be called heroes by the people of the village and you will take care of them. " Kushina said as she cough and little amount of blood came out of her mouth. 

"Don't worry I will look after them and make sure they grow up well. " Hiruzen said as he looked at the mother who is trying her best.

"Thank you. " Kushina said as she looked at her tweens and added, "Grow up well and try to forgive mommy for leaving you alone my little angels. " as she falls on the ground lifeless with a sad smile on her face.

After she was dead several Anbu came behind Hiruzen.

"Lord third. " One of the Anbu said looking at Hiruzen and the now dead fourth Hokage.

"The fourth Hokage is no more. " Hiruzen said as he looked at the tweens on ten ritual as he picks them up on his arms.

Naruto is sleeping after all the commotion.

While in his left-hand Kirito was crying without making a sound while thinking 'My mother she died protecting me and my brother. Don't worry I will grow up well. ' as he closed his eyes but the water didn't stop coming out of his eyes.

"What about the kid? " One of the Anbu wearing dog masks asked looking at the Hokage.

"Tell everyone the kids also died in the nine tails attack…"

”Look.” someone shouted pointing at the stone faces of the Hokage's on the Hokage-mount.

“What are you pointing at?” his friend asked with annoyance but upon turning towards the mountain he became completely shocked “Ahh≈”

very soon the whole village drowned in a heated discussion “It must be that kid. ”

“Yes no one except him could have done it.” 

“At first I thought his elder brother is the one who is annoying and unpleasant to the eyes but now I think he is even worse. ”

“Don't you think it looks almost alive? ”

“Now that you say that I think it looks a lot better than how it usually looks. ”

While the whole village is in the commotion on the incident of the Hokage Mountain the person about whom everyone is talking is now sitting beside the Hokage and looking through his crystal ball with pleasure in his eyes.

“Why don't you use transformation jutsu to become a kid and go in there Kazuna? ” Hiruzen asked in annoyance while looking at the Golden-Red haired boy beside him.

“Yeah I also wanted to go but you see when I went inside some sensor Shinobi was also inside however unlike when I was a kid and they would let me in or even like to play with me this time they beat me so hard ... ” while telling his unfortunate story with a sad face Kirito became angry and shouted “Fuck old man why are you mentioning that event as if you don't know? Don't tell me you are the bastard who let out the information to the ladies of the hot spring. "

“I don't know what are you talking about.” Hiruzen said pretending to be serious while thinking inside with a dark face‘Do you think I will let you enjoy the show so up and close while I see it from this small ball? Fat chance...’

“So it was indeed you? ” Kirito looking at Hiruzen's face which is serious in a situation like this understood in a single glance that no one other then Hiruzen had let out his secret and with an angry shout jumped on him “I will fight you to death you basterd.”

“As if I am afraid of a perverted bastard like you? ” Hiruzen also jumped towards him.

“Who are you calling Pervert you old Pervert? ” Kirito punched at Hiruzen's face.

Even before his punch can land in Hiruzen's face a shadow landed in between them and informed “Lord third Kirito has painted the Hokage-mount again and the... ” before he can finish his words a strong punch landed his face sending the person flying through the window.

“Don't take my silence as my weakness. ” Looking at half-dead Danzo on the ground Kirito said with a cold face.

“Kill me if you dare kid. ”Danzo who's secrets got exposed during his fight with Kirito knows now that he lost and the proof of his crime is out not only will he lose all his authority but also going to get imprisoned which is worst than death for him.

“Don't play games with me, you crazy bastard because I am not going to let you die even if you beg me after you thought of playing tricks against me and my brother. ” Kirito said mercilessly stepping on Danoz's head and not caring about the old man's screams continued “ Hear me clearly you old bastard now that I am angry I am going to make your life so painful that you will wish death be better than living. ”

" Kushina said as she cough and a little amount of blood came out of her mouth.

It had been no more than 30 minutes after Xavier had dismissed William from his office when William came back again.

"What is it this time?" Xavier asked, annoyed.

"Your father wishes to see you," William said with his head bowed.

In response, Xavier pinched the bridge of his nose and gave an exasperated sigh. Scherry's wild antics were making his already stressful day even worse.

"Tell him I'll be there in 10."

Xavier's father, Harvey Wilde, was the CEO of the Wilde Group. Under his leadership, the Wilde Group went from nearly bankrupt to one of the biggest players in the hospitality industry. Their hotels were spread throughout the globe, and recently, they had been expanding to partner with major airlines.

Harvey Wilde commanded his company with an iron fist. He was a strict and domineering man and had taught his son, Xavier, to be like that, as well.

So when the loose Scherry Malt and the stern Xavier Wilde met in their tweens, sparks flew. Opposites attract, right? Well, one could say it was a one-sided spark. Scherry Malt fell head over heels for the mean, rich heir she had only heard about in books, while Xavier merely thought of Scherry as an annoyance.

Under Scherry's persistence and much to Xavier's annoyance, the two became engaged when Scherry was 13 and Xavier, 17. It was very awkward, to say the least. Well, more so to Xavier than to Scherry. It was humiliating for a high school senior to say that they were engaged to an annoying pubescent eighth-grade girl.

Xavier stood outside of his father's office, seemingly calm and composed. However, his heart rate was erratic, and his palms were sweaty from his nervousness. Due to his strict upbringing, his relationship with his father was strained at best, and in front of the intimidating figure, he became a stuttering mess.

He ran his hand once through his midnight black air and closed his eyes to inhale a deep breath. After hyping himself up for a few seconds, his eyes snapped back open and knocked on his father's office door.

A soft "Come in," came from the other side of the wooden doors.

Xavier pushed the door open and entered the room. Harvey Wilde's office was on the same floor as his, but it was many times larger. On one side of the office spanned a large bookshelf on business, marketing, management, and hospitality. On the other side sat the desk of Harvey Wilde's secretary, Martin Wilde, who was Harvey's younger brother.

The back wall of the office was made of glass and allowed light to shine in on Mr. Wilde's desk, which faced away from the window.

When Xavier entered the room, his father was leisurely seated on a couch in the middle of the room. The languid man beckoned Xavier over with his hand. "Come sit here."

Xavier awkwardly seated himself on the opposite couch with his hands folded in his lap. He was visibly nervous, and his eyes kept shifting around the room as if he were trying to find a way out of the current situation.

The only one who had ever witness Xavier in such a weak state was his father. But his father hated the cowardice that Xavier only showed in front of him.

"What did you call me here for, Father?"

"I'm sure you've heard of it by now," Harvey Wilde said while lifting a cup of water to lips. "Your soon-to-be wife has run away from home."

Xavier grit his teeth. "Not this again," he thought to himself.

Scherry Malt had a dream that her fiance was going to cheat on her, so she did what any sane person would do. She ran off to a foreign country and trained to become a superstar!

Recently someone accused me of being an artist. How dare they!? Then I began to realize like many things in life you can only be something by definition of having been what you are. Nothing highly sciencey about that -- the Government "recognizes" this method all the time.... How do you become a Non-profit organization for example? You act like one, you walk like one you talk like one, and then after a while they are willing to recognize that you are one.
So I guess I am guilty of being an artist, but let me tell you why I wasn't sure I was....

Many years ago in a pubescent land of pimply tweens, I was sitting in a mandatory Art class in Middle school, where I was told by the School art teacher that I sucked at art and I shouldn't bother trying. That seriously hurt. I realized years later exactly what the opinion of this teacher was worth when after driving a hour from the school to a park to have our Senior class photos taken..... and after driving back to school this same art teacher realized there was no film in the camera.....and she had wasted all of our time for nothing. For modern reference this would be like taking all the photos and then realizing there was no memory in your phone and your photos never saved.

I went on a 14 day cruise on the world's then largest cruise ship, and one of the other kindly cruisers offered to meet with anyone who was interested every morning in the main dining room to learn to decorate paper with watercolors. On the first day she taught us some basics of the media, and let us just play with water and color. Every day after that she would have a sample that she would walk us through. That first day of the cruise water color class I sat wondering why I was bothering as I could hear the voice of that filmless, clueless middle school art teacher echoing from my water glass.... that I sucked and shouldn't bother trying. Then staring at my water glass... I started to paint a picture of that red solo cup, holding the grey water soiled by the residue of the colors washed out of the brushes of my fellow water decorating cruisers.
There was something beautiful and thematic about decorating cardstock with watercolors while on the world's largest cruise ship riding across the ocean.
After day 3 as I was painting and I noticed people glancing on my paper seeming to care what was showing up there, I noticed that people stared to ask how I was doing what I was doing..... now that's really just the blind leading the blind... but the teacher here wasn't a jerk, she encouraged me by coming by day 5, day 6 asking what I was doing.
I guess I may be okay at that.... It is very relaxing and fun, but it's hard to find time to do art, and when you make the time to sit down and actually paint there is this entropy that takes some amount of effort to push over, and a need for some sort of inspiration. Further, often times, I have realized that while I may not be able to realistically paint any thing sometimes the results are more desirable when I don't try to make it look real, and like that first Red solo cup, that came out well when I wasn't really trying, the acidic advice of my nasty art teacher became a bit of a truth... I shouldn't bother "trying", I should just do. I've watched more proficient artists that are actually "good" at it over think things and take something they started and looked good and not know when to stop....and as a result destroy their own art from my point of view.... and paint or water color don't have an "undo" feature like the computer has.

So when I was Accused of being an artist, I realized I might be one, but I just can't see my self spending the rest of my life painting the same image again and again and again like I have seen at some art auctions.... how tedious that must be. So some day someone may find my art, like my early author attempts trapped, imprisoned, either at some Second hand store, or in the landfill after someone tosses my work after I have shuffled off this mortal coil.... either way at least I bothered to capture those images unlike my feckless middle school art teacher who forgot to put the media in the camera and wasted away the lives of others.

After my unsavory exit from the prince's room, I am somewhere outside. I have to admit; he isn't so bad. I don't know what that was, but I want to do it again. Whenever I devour a soul, some of them would be doing that as well. 

It's called a kiss. Kiss. I want to kiss the prince again. Imagine if I ate him? He would taste and feel so much better, right? 

I know he will. Just touching his lips made me feel so good. The taste of his blood must be euphoric as well. As I walk down the hall, I see a few of the other students. Some are talking, running around and laughing. A few others are sat on the side benches reading what looked like school books. 

Seeing all these boys around, I wonder if they will taste the same as the prince. They didn't smell as delicious, but the taste might be the same. 

I look around for a fat one as my first victim. If his lips tasted good, then the meat will too. I find my target after a while. He was a goblin, but he seemed taller than what they were supposed to be. 

Goblins were almost the size of dwarves, but he was an average height. 

His head was down in a book with his glasses slipping off his face. He was not pretty like the prince, but he had enough meat to make up for that. With a pip in my step, I hop over to him. When I come before him, I sit down next to him. 

"Hi!" He jumps in fright, and I giggle at the movement. He sits up straight then turns to me. I don't wait for him to say anything. I lean forward and place my lips on his. Not even a second later, a shock goes through my skin. I hiss in response, which scares my prey. 

"The fuck was that?" He shrugs, then blushes and looks away from me. "Did you feel that shock?" That didn't happen with the prince guy. 

"T-that means you have found your m-mate, no?" He stammers out a sentence then looks down again. Mate? 

Oh yeah, prince guy's my mate. But I don't want a mate. " I don't want a mate."  His eyes widen as he shakes his head. 

"But you can't reject them.  Mates are a lifetime gift." Gift? Why?

"Can I eat my mate?" The goblin pauses at my question then laughs out loud at me. I don't get why he is laughing and tilt my head. "What's funny?" 

"No, it's just that your thinking is weird. You are the first person who wanted to eat their mate. Most people want to live with their mates." He smiles wider after he answers me. Live with their mates? But I can barely manage to live with uncle Wes and Maria. 

"I don't want that. I don't like people." 

"You are strange. You are the first person I can think of who wouldn't want their mate. You're not from around here, are you?" I shake my head no and prompt him to go on. "Figures. My name is Ezylar Casimir; it's my third year at the Academy, by the way." 

"I am Morgana Areithios." His eyes widen. He does that a lot. 

"Areithios? As in Hades Areithios?" Oh, he knows my dad. 

"You know my dad?" He springs apart from me then gets down on one knee. "What are you doing?" I get defensive as I watch him look at the floor.

"Princess, pardon my impudent actions earlier." He is trembling, and  I can't say I hate the sight of him. A few of the tweens walking by, look at us curiously. 

"Grovel more; I like it." Ezylar looks up with relief. 

"I thought you would behead me for my earlier actions. If I may ask, what is a princess of hell doing here?" Yeah, he was supposed to be my prey. Forget it; I can tolerate him now. Princess of hell? I like the sound of that.

"Princess of hell. I like this title. Does this mean I can eat all the people I want?" I needed to find new meat since I couldn't eat him now that he's my friend. 

"No, Princess, you can't your subjects. Wait, shouldn't you know all of this?"  Ezylar gets up and sits next to me. 

" I don't know anything about hell. I never even saw my father. Uncle Wes and his wife, Maria, raised me."

"Judging from your unique smell, it could be because you are a hybrid, he didn't bring you to hell. You are fully functioning as well, right?." Fully functioning? Was he saying hybrids were stupid? 

I couldn't find out much about hybrids in the books I had at home. It looks like being me was worst than I thought. I am going to find out as much as I can from Ezylar. 

"I wanted to eat you, but it seems like you will have to be a friend instead."

She is apathetic, witty, and has an insatiable appetite that goes against her lithe frame. As she starts high school, she meets new challenges that push her limits and aggravates her tendency to murder. Morana Areithios has nothing to prove to the Chaos kingdom. Or so she thinks!  All she wants to do is kill unsuspecting souls and maybe get a taste of the prince who smells good.
