We'll go to theatre atleast twice or thrice in a month and I love bike rides in the midnight. Cold air, darkness, silence, peaceful mind. I just love it. As I said, I'll woke up earlier than usual for my arabic class.

Though, I missed my family and wealthiest life, I didn't worried much for it. I have keep on enjoying my days. In the weekend, I will always go to Achu's grandmother, Soap's house, as I have many friends over there for playing and cycling all over the area.

I have the habit of waking up earlier in holidays. As like boys, if I go out finishing my breakfast, I'll be back only for dinner. Sometimes, I will have lunch at soap's home or else I'll buy some snacks from my savings. I will be so curious to learn things and I like adventures.

Are Transgender people trapped in the wrong body or given the wrong mind?

Neither.

My body is my body. My hands are my hands, my toes are my toes. I'm not "trapped" in my body, it's my body. The entire "I'm an X trapped in a Y body" method of explaining trans identity, while it works at an extremely high level and crude model, doesn't really capture the nuance of the trans experience and when you start talking about science.... it's best to put those models away.

Here, let's science for a second:

During fetal development, the brain is influenced by sex hormones such as testosterone, estrogens and progesterone (17). From the earliest stages of fetal brain development, many neurons throughout the entire nervous system already have receptors for these hormones (9). The early development of boys shows two periods during which testosterone levels are known to be high. The first surge occurs during mid-pregnancy: testosterone levels peak in the fetal serum between weeks 12 and 18 of pregnancy (18) and in weeks 34-41 of pregnancy the testosterone levels of boys are ten times higher than those of girls (19). The second surge takes place in the first three months after birth. At the end of pregnancy, when the α-fetoprotein level declines, the fetus is more exposed to estrogens from the placenta, this exposure inhibiting the hypothalamus-hypophysial-gonadal axis of the developing child. Loss of this inhibition once the child is born causes a peak in testosterone in boys and a peak in estrogens in girls (20). The testosterone level in boys at this time is as high as it will be in adulthood, although a large part of the hormone circulates bound. During these two periods, therefore, girls do not show high levels of testosterone. These fetal and neonatal peaks of testosterone, together with the functional steroid receptor activity, are thought to fix the development of structures and circuits in the brain for the rest of a boy's life (producing "programming" or "organizing" effects). Later, the rising hormone levels that occur during puberty "activate" circuits and behavioral patterns that were built during development, in a masculinized and de-feminized direction for male brains or in a feminized and de-masculinized direction for female brains.

As sexual differentiation of the genitals takes places much earlier in development (i.e. in the first two months of pregnancy) than sexual differentiation of the brain, which starts in the second half of pregnancy and becomes overt upon reaching adulthood, these two processes may be influenced independently of each other. In rare cases, this may result in trans-sexuality, i.e. people with male sexual organs who feel female or vice versa. It also means that in the event of an ambiguous sex at birth, the degree of masculinization of the genitals may not always reflect the degree of masculinization of the brain (21-24). As models go, instead of thinking about trans people as being "trapped" in one body or another, think about rockets for a moment.

Human development is kind of like a rocket. Everything happens in stages and most of the time, everything lines up, each stage triggering exactly when it should and exactly the way it should to keep the payload moving forward.

That said, it's entirely possible for something to go a little wonky at one stage or another which can send your rocket a bit off course.

When we're talking about sex and gender in human development, we're looking at three to four really distinct stages. Stage 1: Gonadal development (ovaries or testes), Stage 2: Pre-natal neurological organizing, Stage 3: Post natal hormone surge. Arguably you could include a Stage 4 at puberty with additional hormonal surges but research to date makes it questionable about whether anything actually changes at this stage or if things are just made apparent at this stage. Research on children with gender dysphoria found statistically significant correlation between hypothalamus response to stimulation in both prepubescent and adolescent youth, however there are differences in the observed data between prepubescent and adolescent youth.[2] In general, research participants were observed to respond to stimulation (in this case, an odor) in ways consistent with their experienced gender rather than their natal sex.

Truthfully, the more I study the past 20+ years of neurological research on trans people since Zhou's publication in Nature in 1995, I find myself nodding along more and more with Antonio Guillamon:

"Trans people have brains that are different from males and females, a unique kind of brain," Guillamon says. "It is simplistic to say that a female-to-male transgender person is a female trapped in a male body. It's not because they have a male brain but a transsexual brain."[3]


Ultimately, we are what we are. Our bodies are our bodies and our minds are just fine. Some parts of our development might be a little off courseand we may need to make a few corrections to move through life smoothly, but we're not trappedanywhere. We're right here, living our lives with everyone else (or at least, we're trying to.)

If you view trans people as a mismatch between neurological development and physiological development... six of one, half dozen of another which part you think of as being "wrong."

I've struggled to integrate that way of thinking about things with everything I know about transgender biology. It's a simple model that doesn't express a great deal of the subtle nuance of sexual and gender variance.

One thing I do know... the research points repeatedly at an important fact for how we think about appropriate care for people with gender dysphoria: There's no therapy or treatment you can give a transgender person to make them transgender, but the distress caused by gender dysphoria can be significantly reduced by acknowledging a trans person's identity and, for some, by helping them to bring their body back on course with the direction their mind is leading them.

So if a single massive building had over 15 chimneys, there would undoubtedly be more than 40 flues connecting like a maze.
And that was just in a single building, not to talk of the other buildings within the estates or manors.
One should know that by the time the cleaners had managed to emerge at the top of the building fully nude, their entire bodies would be covered in soot.
So, since they worked every day, coming in contact and ingesting such large amounts of soot, of course 9/10 times, they wouldn't last long.
Many developed Asthma and other breathing ailments with time.
They also had sores and other inflammation on their eyelids too.
Moreover, the job stunted their growth since they remained crouched in unnatural positions while inside the right chimneys, which damaged their growing joints and bones... With their knees and elbows, getting swelled up and remaining heavily affected.
Mind you, these children began work at the age of 4, so they were still growing.
Of course, these cleaners were typically the discarded citizens thrown away in the wilderness at birth and rescued by their masters to be chimney cleaners.

Moving on, when it came to their work environment, it was one that would make many across the work terrified since the insides of the flues were pitch black.
Of course, for the Deifers, it wasn't the darkness that scared them.
But the fact that they didn't know where they were going or what was in front of them.
They just entered the dark tunnels and hoped to come out of the maze.
The chimneys were very claustrophobic and brutal to navigate.
So even if the cleaner managed to fit through the narrow portals, there was no guarantee that they would get out.
That said, with the complex design, even if they managed to reach the top, they would still have to go back down again.
If they kept on taking the wrong way, then too bad, they would be stuck in a pitch-black maze while nude.
And the thing was that even when they were working, the fires were on.
So soot and heat constantly clouded the portals.
The lost ones eventually suffocated and choked to death, while others died of extreme dehydration.
That's right!
90% of chimney cleaners didn't last for more than a few months on the job; that's why most masters got slaves rather than citizens to do the job.
But when someone was stuck there, what would their master do?
Well, he either let the child die there or sent another sweeper into the pitch dark maze.
But many-a-times, even the rescuer would get lost, leaving the master to lose 2 money makers.
Hence, the masters usually didn't send any rescue team and just left the unfortunate child to die within the maze-like portals.
But to further show how cruel these masters were, at times, they would increase the flames at the starting point below to encourage the boys to work faster.

Once again, the most prominent danger was cancer.
Yup!
They were indirectly smoking an unhealthy amount of cigarettes daily.
So typically, by the time they reached 10, they were already sick as hell since they started work at age 4.
That's why their lives were the shortest.
Again, that wasn't the only form of cancer they got, as they also developed Cancer of the Scrotum, A.K.A Soot Wart.
As they are fully nude while doing the job, well, somethings were bound to happen.
The disease makes its first appearance at the bottom of the Scrotum, where it produces a painful ill-looking sore that makes that particular area as red as a tomato.
The pain they felt was sometimes equivalent, if not worse, to the feeling of one having their lower region kicked.
So try living with that every second, minute, hour and day.
Of course, the pain level varied throughout the day, so one never knew when the pain level would rise to max level.
Again, Scrotum cancer only began to show after boys who managed to survive successfully hit puberty.
That's right!
Even if they somehow struggled to survive, newsflash, they would still be hit with some deadly disease and die.
It all happened like a bad dream.
And after puberty, in no great length of time, it penetrated the skin and took hold of the testicles before making its way to the abdomen like a plague.
From there, one could imagine what other damages it would cause.
In fact, it would be a miracle if these chimney boys who got the disease after puberty lived past the age of 20.
Sigh... The life of a Chimney cleaner was awful.
As expected, Mary Poppins and Bert had fooled everyone.
Maybe this was the supercalifragilistic-expialidocious that they were talking about?

Instantly, Henry was now more worried than ever.

But like Landon had said, because of the complex chimney design, Deiferus needed a way to clean the chimneys.
So what can they do about the matter?
Landon smiled broadly at the men who were currently trying to crack their brains on this matter.
Even back on earth in modern times, there were narrow chimneys and professionals that also cleaned them while wearing safety equipment.
So even though it was impossible to send a child in, that didn't mean that they couldn't do anything about it.

First, they must be of adult age to begin work.
Of course, there are many rules that ensure their safety there, which you can look up later on.
Again, while cleaning is going on, no one is allowed to use the fireplaces.
Anyway, for how you'll go about cleaning the chimney, I propose you create what my Baymardian people call a laundry shoot or vent hole.
Except, yours will have a hard door that needs to be locked at all times unless someone comes over to clean the chimneys.
Essentially, you have to create several of these rectangular holes on different point intervals along the very long Flues.
That way, people won't have to necessarily go in.
Again, you can also buy extendable brushes and brooms that stretch for long distances.
So you can just open the shoot/vent doors on the walls and clean from there.
Additionally, when faced with horizontal flues, we also have Solar fans to hold against the vents to blow the cleaned-up soot towards the vertical vents, making it fall right down below.
Of course, you will also need to buy face masks and other things from us for safety as well."

Author-san: the book is a bit fast paced. But it be really be worth it. so just give it a try and you might be surprised.

My mouth was wide open as I looked at the school. It was a huge building with so many windows. We walked up these steps and the entrance doors were so big. As we entered the school, there were shiny wooden floors and panel walls. The place looked so posh as it could have been a palace in France. I looked at the walls and could see pictures of old pupils. This place had a spirit and a past. It was strange to think that I would now be part of it. 
Dad told me to close my mouth as it looked as if I was trying to catch flies. I explained that the school was so big and it was so posh. This made Dad laugh and said that the school should be posh, with the huge tuition he had to pay. I could see the other boys walk and have a strange smile when Dad said this. This was one time that I thought that the ground should swallow me up. A fact of life is that sometimes, parents can be so embarrassing. 
Luckily, a religious brother came and welcomed us to the school. His name was Brother Patrick. He did not smile and simply said that he would show us where the dorms were. He walked quickly as we went up steps like was in the titanic. The dorms were on the top floor. This were hundreds of steps to be carrying suitcases. Luckily my dad helped me.
As we walked up, Brother Patrick told us about the school. There were 1,300-day pupils and 200 boarders. The school was praised for its academic level and results. It also had a fine sports team and choir. The school had a strong catholic tradition and being a good Catholic with Catholic morals and respecting the church was important. Brother Patrick finished his speech by saying that I was coming here as a boy. When I left, I would be a man. 
We were shown the cubical where I would sleep. This was not posh. The top floor was divided into cubicles. It basically had 3 wooden sides and a curtain that we could open and close. There was a small bed inside, as well as a wardrobe, a small table, and a chair. This would be my home for a few years. It was not what I expected, but I could put up with it. 
It was a bit annoying that Brother Patrick did not smile. In fact, he did not seem all that impressed with me. He warned me to not let my hair grow longer than it was. This surprised me, as I had a haircut before I came. He then looked at Mom and Dad and said a quick goodbye was the best. 
This suited my dad. He said goodbye as soon as Brother Patrick went. Mom did not want to go. She was giving me one bit of advice after another. It became worse when she started crying and said that I was not ready for this. This made Dad shrug his shoulder and say that it was about time that I toughened up. 
Tears welled up in my eyes as I seen my parents leave. 
I went back to my cubical and decided that I would unpack. The first thing I did was to hang a Madonna poster on the wall. I was a Madonna fan and the poster made this small cubical feel like it was a bedroom, and not something you would see in a stable. I did not know why I needed so many clothes, as I was going home in a month. I managed to unpack the suitcases. 
I sat on the bed thinking "what now". Then I saw a boy looking over the cubical. He must have been standing on the bed. He said that it was nice that new blood was at the school and asked me to come over and visit him. 
When I found his cubical, I was shocked. He was sitting on his bed wearing boxers and shaving his legs. This was something that was so new to me. Why would a boy shave his legs? I did not know if I should laugh or what. I just stood there in shock. His name was Andrew. He explained to me that he did not like hair on his body and shaved it off. He wanted to know if I had the same problem. I was speechless. This made Andrew laugh as he said that I was one of the few that has not started puberty yet. 
Some other boys joined us and they were talking about what they have done during the summer. I did not have much to boast about, as I spent most days helping my Dad with his work. It was strange listening to them, as they talked about holidays in exotic places all over the world. While I was slaving away on some construction sites, they were sunbathing in some resort. 
Andrew turned his attention to me and asked if I was transgender. I asked why would he even think that. Andrew pointed to the pocket in my jeans that had small flowers sewn in. I must have gone red as a tomato, as I never really paid attention to this. Andrew also pointed at my head and said that I had long hair for a boy. Why was everyone concerned with my hair? I had it cut!
The other boys started joking and said that I had a high pitched voice. Andrew did not make it better by saying that it was because I did not start puberty yet. I wanted to reply but did not know what to say. Things got worse as one boy said the only logical answer was that I was gay. This made me get mad as I said that I was not gay. It was a sin to be gay! It also hurt as it made me think that they knew I was the victim of abuse. 
This was not the best introduction to the others at school. I decided to explore the school. There was after I changed my clothes and made sure there were no flowers on them. The building was huge. There were two floors that were used for dorms. The brothers lived on a floor as well as a small chapel. There was a floor for classes and the office. There was also a huge study hall here. In the basement, there was a small school shop, a TV room, a games room and a room for table tennis and billiards. The cantine was also in the basement.
I went back up to Andrew and hoped that he would be much nicer this time. He did not seem happy to see me. He told me that he had strange feelings about me. 
"It is like you need to be protected," he said, "I feel as if I should be your big brother. This means that I want to give you advice and help you, but I do not want to be seen with you. That would be bad for my image."
As I was in my bed that night, I thought about everything that happened that day. So much happened and so much was new. Andrew did not want to be my friend because I would hurt his image. This was strange. What was his image? He shaved his legs! Did that mean that people thought I was weird?
I fell asleep and was soon woken up by a boy beside me. He told me that he could not sleep because I snored. This was something that plagued my family. It was so embarrassing. The next day everyone was making fun of me that I snored. When I tried to speak with others, they would either remind me that I snored or ask if I was transgender. They would tell me they heard that I wanted to be a girl and did not even start puberty. It did not help when I would answer in a high pitched voice. 
I decided to explore the school once again. I tried to convince myself that I was a good person, and they would get over the things that they noticed and see the positive side of me. I was a newcomer and they did not know me. I was convinced that God would help me and I would be accepted and have some friends. 
These two boys that were very young and small came up to me. They were giggling and asking why I wanted to be a girl. I replied that this was not true. I was a boy and proud to be a boy. The two small boys just giggled as they chanted words such as "sissy" and "gay", I wanted to hit them but did not want to get in trouble so soon. I just walked away from them as they chanted names at me. It hurt as they chanted. What they were saying was not true. 
The first day at school was a disaster. The English teacher told me that he did not see me before. He asked me who my former teacher was. This was a strange question, so I told him his name was Mr. Donovan. I wondered why he wanted to know this as he hardly knew my old school. The English teacher got mad and said there was no Mr. Donavan at this school. I told him that I am new here and I just came from another school. The English teacher was not impressed. He asked why I was in advanced English when I was so daft. Why did I not say from the start that I went to another school?
I was always good at maths and did advanced maths as well. When I went to the Maths class, no one wanted to speak to me. As we were waiting, one boy said a joke which made me laugh. The boy that joked looked at me asked why I laughed and why I was listening to him talking with his friends. The next time I went to maths, no one wanted to sit close to me. 
It did not help that I did not understand a word the teacher said. I blame him. He spent most of the class telling jokes. He always wanted to be a comedian and he had an audience when he was a teacher. At the end of class, he would rush through what he was supposed to which was fast-talking and a lot of scribbles. I felt like he was trying to teach us rocket science!
On the way out of class, I met a boy called Garret. He looked like a nerd and had these big thick glasses on. I didn't care as he was the first one that said something nice to me. He told me to meet him by the sheds out in the back of the school. 
I was on my way there when I meet Brother Aiden. He was a plump man that looked like he was a good friend with the pupils and always in a good mood. He presented himself as the choir teacher and said I should be in the choir. He told me that he could hear that I had a nice soprano voice and would do well in the choir. I could also meet some friends there. I smiled and thanked him.
Finally, things were going my way. 
I found a group of boys in the back smoking. This was new to me that a school would allow smoking. They told me that they were allowed to smoke there, and no other place. I just stood there thinking that the school must be very liberal. I smoked cigarettes since I was 10. I was by no means a chain smoker but did it occasionally. 
Garret, the boy that invited me here asked what music I like. Everyone became quiet as he asked this and waited for an answer. I was honest and said that I was a huge Madonna fan. Silence followed my answer and then everyone started laughing. How could I like Madonna? She was a slut and used her sexuality to sell music. I defended her music and said it was fresh and new and put people in a good mood. She was different and had a lot of courage. Then one of them said that only girls and gays listened to Madonna. Everyone looked at me and started laughing. 
"Are you a Madonna fan because you want to be a girl?"
"Are you a Madonna fan because you are gay?"
It was now dark, but they continued smoking. One of the other boys gave me a cigarette saying that I had the courage to be different. I smiled at him and accepted the cigarette. I figured that he was right. All my life, I have been different. Being cool was not something that I understood. I just did things my own way. I also assumed that if I smoked, I would be more like them and they could accept me. 
The worse thing happened as I lit the cigarette from the wrong side. The filter lit up in flames as everyone started to laugh. I tried to laugh with them and blame the darkness for the mistake.
Garret said that he had to go and I decided to walk back to the dorms with him.
"I did not ask you to walk back with me," he snorted at me, "In fact, it's embarrassing that you are walking with me. Everything they say about you is true. You are a sissy and a faggot. You are the school's princess."

This is a story about a teenage boy that goes to a boarding school. He is not like other boys and is bullied and teased constantly. What will happen to his self-esteem and will he have courage?
Will he survive?

Like I anticipated, this job is boring. Like very very very boring. That next day during seventh period homeroom, the two class representatives were responsible to hold a vote for the event the class will be doing. That's all fine and all, but I really don't see the point in me being there.  

Mura had stepped to the side and took a seat by the front corner of the classroom near the windows, watching Irina and I as we hosted the homeroom period. With a smile on her face, she crossed her arms before her chest and then crossed her legs, watching me. From that countenance of her's, I felt as if she was watching a comedy film playing out before her in real time. Maybe that is all this to her: a comedy film.

My classmates were quite loud and rowdy, talking among themselves and thinking of possible events. However, halfway through their discussion, most of them got off topic. The girls began talking about make up items and the boys talking about sports. Seeing that we're just wasting time, I walked up to the podium, cleared my throat.

"Can we start with the votes?" I said in a raised voice. However, no one responded. I was ignored, almost as if I was never there in the first place.

I sighed and turned towards Irina with a helpless look on my face, seeking for her help. It seemed she understood my intent and started walking towards the podium. I stepped off to the side, giving her space to speak from a spot of authority.

"Alright everyone."

Once she started speaking, everyone quieted down, giving her their undivided attention. This is the difference between Irina and I: the level of respect we demand from others. My classmates don't see much in me, so they don't respect me at all. However, they do respect Irina, which is weird if you get rid of her celebrity status, because at that point, she'll just be a classmate they've only known for a few days. Really, humans are such disgusting creatures. That's why I prefer animals. Animals like cats are so simple to please compared to these ungrateful people.

"Since everybody has finished discussing," Irina continued. "Let's vote on it. Any suggestions for events?"

"Maid cafe!" a male student called out as he raised his hand.

What the hell is with this cliche suggestion?

"No," one of the girls responded to the male student with a look and behavior of obvious disgust. "All you boys wanna see is us girls dressed up like that."

"No one's trying to look at you," that first student responded.

Damn, get roasted.

As the two went back and forth, exchanging words, I wrote down their suggestion on the chalkboard. Come to think of it, can't another student do this job? It's just writing things down on the board. Like in reality, I'm not needed, so can I just go home?

"How about a play?" a female student raised her hand.

"What about a horror house?"

"Why can't we just do a normal restaurant?"

I wrote down what the students called out, not thinking much about what I was doing. I was sort of hypnotized by the sound of the chalk hitting and sliding across the board, making it so that my arm moved almost automatically to write down what the students wrote like a senseless machine. Maybe becoming a machine might be better, because then, I won't have to think at all. My job will be rendered to simply doing what others said, which is bad, but might be better than what I have right now. Really, humans are the saddest creatures alive.

"So the final two are," Irina gestured for me to step aside after erasing the suggestions that didn't pass her judgement, "maid cafe and horror house."

"Maid cafe!" a boy shouted out. "Maid cafe, maid cafe, maid cafe, maid cafe..."

Once this boy started chanting, other boys started following along, chanting out their calls for freedom, for dominance over the feminine influence. Like warriors facing off against their enemies, they didn't back down or cower out of fear to their counterparts. Rather, they gathered even more courage, chanting out in order to boost their morale while also lowering that of the girls. At that moment, they didn't represent the boys in our class. They represented the boys at our school, the boys in Vilheim, and the boys in the world.

I wasn't influenced by it, however. Some might question my sexuality, but I can say with a hundred percent confidence that I'm straight, straighter than concrete and just as unbendable. Like concrete, if you try bending me, I would rather break. However, that doesn't mean I'm against the LGBT community. They can do what they want, just don't try it against me.

"A horror house will take plenty of work," a male student then reasoned with the girls. "Think about it. We have to get the atmosphere right, which is extremely difficult with our budget. If we don't get it right then it won't have the right effect, and fewer people will come. Our work will just be wasted."

"But a maid cafe..."

It seemed that the girls couldn't accept them dressing up for the event. Like I can understand not wanting to be the group that sacrifice the most in an event, so I don't blame them. However, there's a simpler solution to it.

"Just compromise and have the boy's dress up as butlers or something," I whispered into Irina's ear. I wanted her to suggest it because if it was me that did so, I would just be ignored.

Irina nodded and then relayed my message to the class. My suggestion appeared to have succeeded since the two sides were able to agree on this one compromise, thus saving us a lot of time since instead of arguing, we could actually focus on other things.

"So this is what we'll submit to the committee for review today after school," Irina said to the class as she finished filling out the application paper for the event.

It appeared that my presence was completely unnecessary. Irina has done all the work so I just might've not been there at all with my lack of authority over my classmates. I glanced over at Mura, who looked at me with a smile on her face, almost as if mocking me for my inability to interject myself into the home room meeting.

I know exactly why she had chose me to be a representative. No matter how twisted her methods are, she always kept me in mind, meaning that everything she planned is for my benefit. For example, this job is probably her attempt at making me socialize more. However, just because it's for my benefit doesn't mean that I will feel comfortable doing it. That's the main problem. No one asked me if I'm fine doing this job, so obviously I'll lack enthusiasm in this correction process.

"It wasn't that bad," Irina smiled at me as the two of us returned to our desks to wait out the remainder of the home room period.

"I might as well been air," I simply responded as I took a seat, ignoring the gazes Loyd and Muria sent my way.

"Writing things on the board can't be done by air," Muria chuckled with a cold expression on her face.

"Give it enough time and the air will pick up chalk dust and arrange it in words," I sighed. "Just give it time."

"What's the probability of that even happening?" Irina asked.

"Basically zero," Loyd laughed in response.

"So we still have a meeting after school."

I rested my head on my desk and gazed out the window with a slight melancholic aura hovering in the air around me. I was tired already just thinking about how annoying the job will be. It must be particularly bad for the normal students since they do their homework, but for me, homework is an afterthought. As long as I can maintain an average grade in the course, I'm fine. Just listening to it spoken or done in class is enough for me to grasp the concept, so that's the reason why I could pass the tests and quizzes thrown my way.

"Why's he acting all depressed when he could work with Irina?"

I heard some male students talking  about me behind my back. Without showing too much of a reaction, I kept my ears open, listening in on what they're saying while shifting my head so that I was looking inwards towards the classroom in order to better decipher their message.

"Like I would kill to have an opportunity like that," the guy's friend muttered.

"Looks like someone has some fans," Loyd smiled at Irina as he, too, heard their words.

I quickly glanced at Irina's face and saw a faint blush. She's probably somewhat embarrassed after hearing that.

"I bet he dreams of her at night," the first male student continued. "The puberty type."

The puberty type... he meant wet dreams. That's not true at all since I haven't fantasized about her. However, since they've mentioned it... For some reason my mind automatically created the image of Irina winking and slowly removing her clothing before me.  

"You wanna see more?" I imagined her saying.

"You wanna see more?" I imagined her saying     
Stop... Stop before things get weird.

I paid particular attention to my lower body, careful that nothing stands up. However, I believe I must've neglected my facial expression for when I realized, Muria and Irina were both staring at me. Muria's stare was one of disgust, almost as if she had seen the lowliest creature in this world. Irina, however, her's was one of embarrassment. Her face was even redder than before as her eyes darted away from my gaze.

"Pervert," Muria simply sighed and shook her head to express her disapproval, disgust, and disdain for me.

I'm just me. An ordinary high school boy with no girlfriend, not too many friends, and no talent.  What I enjoy doing after school is roaming around the halls, hoping that like in the cliche anime and manga, I'll bump into someone that'll change my life. Of course, nothing is going to happen. What do you expect? 

But, this APP on my phone is kind of weird. I don't remember installing it. If I click on it, it asks me to complete missions. But how the hell am I supposed to do these embarrassing tasks?

I will post new chapters usually once a day, but that is subjected to change depending on my schedule as I am a student in my final year of high school. During breaks, I will usually post multiple chapters per day.

Eren's P.O.V
"I can't believe I'm actually saying this," Armin starts, standing over me, "but can we please get out of here?"
"What? I thought you liked the library," I implore, putting the book down on the floor next to me. I am sitting down on the floor near the back of the library leaning on a bookshelf.
"Yeah but it's a friday night in a town away from home...doesn't it feel lame?"
"The only reason we came here was because I wanted to help you out."
"Eren, I don't think the book you are reading is going to help me out with girls."
"It's about a girl," I claim defending it.
"Eren that is Fifty Shades Of Grey!" Armin points out. He takes a deep breath before speaking again, "let's do a reality check for a second: We are sitting shamefully at the back of the schools library and I am just watching you read an erotic book. You've been glued to that book for the past few days and I don't think either of us are in a position to be doing the stuff that they're doing. But if you like the book so much why don't you just check it out?"
"I don't like the book!"
We hear a shh from the librarian and Armin and I exchange looks acknowledging that we need to keep it down.
"Then why have you been reading it so much?"
"Because I'm just trying to understand…" I trail.
"Understand what?" Armin sits down next to me.
"In this book...when a person likes another person...they…" I quiet my voice down some more, "have...you know."
Armin sighs, "yeah. But the whole process of getting to that stage is sped up in a book."
"Do you want to…'you know' with Krista?
Armin grows red, "n-not right now but maybe eventually."
"My point exactly," I claim, picking up the book and beginning to read it again.
"What point? You hardly made one," Armin snatches the book away, "I'm beginning to think that whatever is going on isn't healthy for you." Armin sits up on his knees putting the book on the shelf behind us before sitting back down again, "By any chance, does this have anything to do with why you haven't spoken a word to Mikasa over the past couple of days?"
"What does Fifty Shades of Grey have to do with Mikasa?"
"A-ha," Armin snaps.
"A-ha what?"
"That's why you're mad."
"What? You're right about me being mad at Mikasa but even I am not really sure about the reason why."
"Eren, think really really hard for just a second. You get into that big fight with Jean and then start pushing Mikasa away as soon as we get curious about girls."
I ponder on it for a moment before becoming baffled, "you think I want to 'you know' with Mikasa?!"
"What? No!" Armin squeals, "I was just going to say puberty."
"Armin we're fifteen it's a little late to just be starting puberty."
"I just thought it was the perfect diagnosis. You know aggressive mood swings, starting fights, getting weird around girls, exploring sexual fantasies with that book."
"Ew, don't say sexual."
"Why not?"
"I don't know it just sounds weird when you say it. And don't call Mikasa a girl."
"Eren, that ridiculous. Mikasa is a girl and you know that."
"Don't call her a girl!" I shout.
"Why not?!"
"Because if you call her a girl that means boys are going to like her and want to have sex with her." I cover my mouth realizing the words that just came out of it. I'm mad at Mikasa because she's a girl?
"Shh," the liberian hisses.
I lower my voice, "I think Mikasa and Jean slept together the day of the fire drill."
Armin looks at me in disbelief. The type of look that says where did you get that idea from? "I don't think they did," he finally dismisses.
"But Armin," I stand up beginning to pace. "They were holding hands and she was wearing his stupid school jacket."  The realization is making my head go crazy. Jean said to me a couple days ago that they liked each other and based on this book 'that' is what happens. The thought of the two of them together makes me infuriated.
"Well then that's her choice. But you can't go jumping to conclusions so maybe you should just, I don't know, ask her."
"I can't ask her that," I snarl.
"Sure you can. Mikasa may be a girl but she's also Mikasa. We've been best friends for years."
"But what if they did."
Armin shrugs, "you can't protect her forever. She's going to like boys and she's going to sleep with one eventually."
"Why didn't she tell me?"
"Probably because you won't talk to her."
"You're right," I tell him, finally wrapping my head around the idea. Even if it's Jean I just want to know. But I don't know how I will feel once I figure out.
"I know. Now can we please get out of this depressing library and actually talk to our 'girl' best  friend?" I flinch at the word girl once again. "Eren," Armin warns.
"No you're right, you're right. Let's go find this..." I trail, still unable to say it, "let's go find Mikasa."
