My name is Crystal Bachleda and my PSEUDONYM Name is C. M. Brighid Bachleda, and welcome to my FIRST attempt at writing a Speculative Fiction of Echtra, Romantic Fantasy, Mythic Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Supernatural Fiction and Erotic Literature.

(Echtra: (plural-Echtrai) Old Irish word for adventure(s) or outing(s); modern and middle Irish language word is pronounced as Eachtra. Type of pre-Christian Old Irish literature about a hero's adventure in the Otherworld or with otherworldly beings.)

Echtra is an interesting genre and its plural form Echtrai makes for an interesting title; this story is my own Modern Fairy Tale mixed with Mythic Fiction and Urban Fantasy with a touch of Supernatural Fiction. I was inspired by *Hayao Miyazaki's* SPIRITED AWAY to try writing my own Mature version BUT with a gender bender twist to *Hans Christian Andersen's* SNEDRONNINGEN/THE SNOW QUEEN with a touch of H. P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos mixed with a twist to Tam Lin.

I am also trying Romantic Fantasy with a modern and supernatural twist; I'm taking a step out of my comfort zone as I try my hand at Erotic Literature. I did my research, even read erotic stories for inspiration and used my imagination with more research to the best of my abilities.

I have also turned this book into a TV Show of sorts told by the main character's view point; there will be episodes instead of chapters and story arcs instead of parts or books. I'm also taking a page from *Rick Riordan's* THE KANE CHRONICLES trilogy by making it into recordings of sorts and I am happy with the results.

(This Warning is to forewarn what *might* happen within the story; I want to make sure that the story I've written will not cause problems. This is ONLY a story that I made up and I will apologize if I made anyone uncomfortable but I also hope that you, Esteemed Readers, will give this book a chance)

Calixander stared at her. His eyes narrowed down to slits as is if he was glaring at her. His eyes never left Alexandra even after he spoke. His father stared at him and Gilbert and Christian stopped from their movements seeing their older brother in the room. Christian gulped as he stared at his brothers, Chandler was standing behind him, staring at Alexandra too. Why are they here? Wait, they live here, so it's normal to be here but still why? He thought to himself and gulped. Alexandra refused to meet anyone's gaze and just stared at her hands clutching her dress.

She was stopping herself from letting her emotions out, her feelings of hate towards their oldest brother because of what he did in the past. She tried to calm herself down and took a breath in, not knowing what to do in this type of situation. There were 3 choices:

1. Leave the room.

2. Laugh and be friendly or something like that.

3. Just remain still and silent like a statue.

The 1st one sounds like a good idea but her father might think that it is rude and it will just show that she was afraid of them. The 2nd one seems like she's a psychopath by laughing suddenly and that would just decrease their like points, she doesn't even know what to tell them and how can she be friendly towards them. The 3rd sounds simple and so, she picked the 3rd one.

Alexandra continued to clutch her dress underneath the table as she stopped herself from shaking. The bubbly, lively, and light atmosphere which surrounded them earlier became heavy and it feels like it was choking her. As seconds pass by, silence still surrounding me, it feels like Alexandra can't breathe and she wants to break the silence but she doesn't know how, maybe if she tried to, her older brothers who just entered the room will just shut her up. "Older Brother," Gilbert spoke out of nowhere, breaking the silence which surrounded them. Unlike Christian and Alexandra who was mentally panicking inside their minds, Gilbert was calm and showed no expression in this situation, as well as their father.

This was the first time that everyone or Alexandra's family except for her deceased mother was inside a room. Even the knights were shocked seeing them here and remained still at their spot. Carlos had a serious expression on and raised his guard, Miss Alexandra doesn't know what to do in this kind of situation and she doesn't want to do anything that will offend her brothers, so she just remained silent, he thought to himself. Carlos was quite an observant person even if he was with Alexandra for only a few days, he already observed and know some of her behavior and habits. "What is it, Gilbert?" Calixander spoke in a serious voice, not removing or wiping off the expression plastered on his face.

"Remain calm, we're currently eating and having a good atmosphere when you just entered the room and ruined it," Gilbert was too straightforward even to someone older than him and who will take their father's throne. If possible, Gilbert should be the one to be the next emperor but there must be something that was in Calixander, aside from that, Gilbert looks like a type of person who wouldn't care and just continue reading. Well, it's not like we're insulting Calixander. Calixander fell into silence and doesn't know what to respond, he heaved a sigh and regained his composure. His features slowly softened but turned into an expressionless one. For the whole time, their father didn't speak and just stared at his sons. "Take a seat, Calixander, and Chandler. You must not have eaten your breakfast yet," Alexander, their father, finally spoke and he continued eating.

Alexandra finally lifted her gaze once she noticed the atmosphere of the room slowly starting to become light and return to normal. She can't help but to heave a sigh of relief and just remain at her seat, she just finished eating and drinking her glass of milk and she doesn't know what to do or talk about. Should I leave the room? She asked herself. If she talked or initiated a conversation right now, it would be too awkward and the conversation will end after a few minutes, she thought to herself and heaved a sigh once again.

The two, Prince Calixander and Prince Chandler, just followed what their father said and took a seat from the opposite side of Alexandra. "Lysander, tell the maids to prepare them a meal," Alexander said and Lysander nodded before he disappeared from the room to return a few minutes after.

Carlos noticed her not moving and just swinging her feet underneath the table as it indicated that she doesn't know what to do and just leave already. "Your highness," Carlos said as he walked towards the emperor, his light footsteps resonating inside the room as he walked. The emperor stopped eating and looked at Carlos from the corner of his eyes, "What is it?" He asked and Carlos cleared his throat first before speaking, "Miss Alexandra, Prince Christian, and Prince Gilbert are already done eating, can we have your permission to leave the room?" Carlos said in a formal and polite tone of voice. When Alexandra heard him ask that, she was relieved.

Alexander looked at the people mentioned and noticed that they weren't moving from their seats and just staring at somewhere as if they weren't comfortable or feeling awkward. "Yes, you may leave," Alexander responded and continued eating. Carlos heaved a sigh of relief and he walked towards Alexandra who was staring at him. Carlos showed her a gentle smile and she gladly smiled back. Christian and Gilbert's personal knights, as far as Alexandra could remember-- their names were Gabriel and Philip, also walked towards the Princes who left their seats. "Let's go, shall we?" Carlos asked and Alexandra nodded before she got down her seat and walked towards the door of the room with Christian and Gilbert along with their personal knights.

Carlos just gave their father a chance to talk with his sons who just entered the room. Well, he knows that their father badly wants to talk with Prince Calixander and Prince Chandler, so he just gave him that chance.

As Alexandra and Christian stepped outside and left the room along with Gilbert, both of them heaved a sigh of relief almost the same time. "That was awkward," Alexandra said and looked at Christian as she smiled at him. She can finally breathe normally now and if she continued to stay behind, she might lose her mind. Christian nodded as a response and smiled back at her, "Truly awkward, would you like to go to the library with me? We can check out the newly delivered books, there might be something that will catch or pique your interest," Christian said in a gentle and sweet tone of voice. If they go to the library and read, that would just help them and they will continue their conversation from earlier.

"Sure. Brother Gilbert, would you like to come with us?" Alexandra asked and turned her head towards Gilbert's direction who was staring at the two. Gilbert hummed as a response and nodded quietly, Alexandra's eyes sparkled and she smiled at him widely.

The walk to the library was peaceful and quiet. Nobody dared to break the silence which surrounded them and Alexandra was just fine with that since it felt pleasant and comfortable. Their light footsteps resonated inside the palace and it was the only thing heard. They walked rather slowly but not that slow, it was just at the right speed. Alexandra just looked ahead of her as they walked. Carlos was walking behind him and he was quiet too, his guard was raised since Philip was here. Alexandra recalled their first and previous encounter with Philip, she can still remember what rude and hurtful words he said and what Carlos said after that.

It feels like she was being dependant on Carlos and she doesn't want that but she can't help it because she also doesn't know what to say to that person. However, it seems like Philip already forgot the encounter because he didn't speak about it. Alexandra heaved a sigh and just continued walking.

Upon arriving in front of the huge wooden door of the library, Gabriel was the one who opened it for them and they entered inside. Christian was the first one to enter and the next one is Alexandra and her personal knight then the last one is Gilbert and his personal knight. "Is it just me or the library looks fully packed of books, although it should be but somehow it was giving me that feeling?" Alexandra stated as she roamed her eyes around the place and followed Christian as they walked around. She can't completely describe what she was feeling, however, Christian was able to relate and know that feeling. Alexandra's eyes sparkled seeing the books placed on the shelves, packed and compressed like sardines or a school of fish.

"That's probably the effect when there are newly added books and newly added shelves," Christian stopped from her tracks after he talked and he was looking at their right side. Alexandra stopped at her tracks too and looked at the direction he was looking. Christian was looking at a shelf that was previously not there before, he walked towards it, his eyes sparkling and shining because of happiness. With a confused and curious expression, she followed him behind staring at the shelf he was heading to. Their personal knights followed behind them but Gilbert and Philip were left behind and just stood still at their position.

Christian actually noticed the shelf that was newly added to his favorite section, the History Section. The History Section covered or conquered almost half of the library's first floor. Christian loves history books the most, learning about a country's history, its experiences in wars, how it got strong, how it was found, who found it, the people who lived, and the person who is ruling the land fascinates him. Although, Alexandra also likes to read books but not in that sort of way. The way Christian loves history books is like the way Alexandra would love or like to learn magic. She also loves flowers in the same way as he loves history books. He wasn't obsessed with it or something like that, to be honest, he just loves the idea of it and wants to read or learn history.

Alexandra stood behind him and looked at each one of the newly added books, her eyebrows were furrowed as she looked at the thick books with rather small words written on its spine. Christian took out a book and opened it as he flipped it to its first page. "I'll just go look at other books with Brother Gilbert," Alexandra said and Christian nodded as he lifted his head and turned at her direction then, showed a sweet smile beaming with happiness, his gaze gentle as always.

"Okay, I will just remain here. If you can't find me here, I'm probably on the second floor at our usual spot," Christian said and he continued reading. Alexandra nodded before he turned around and returned to Gilbert. Alexandra smiled at him and he didn't return it. The started to walk around without Christian and they were completely silent not until Carlos spoke, "Young miss, I think there are newly added books about flowers. However, I think it's on the second floor," Carlos said and he stopped on his tracks mid-way while speaking. Alexandra stopped on his tracks also and nodded before she continued walking.

As they were walking, Gilbert and his personal knight separated from them since they want to look at Gilbert's favorite section, the Fiction Section. It might be not obvious but Gilbert loves to read fiction books. Well, he also loves to read history books but fiction books were still the best, it helps him escape and imagine so many things. His imagination was rather wide and vast because of it. The way the author describes and tells the story would always fascinate him, he is fascinated when the author would describe what the character is feeling, not missing a single detail and he was hooked because of it. He also loves to read myths, tales, and legends just like Alexandra.

"I see, do you know where that is? I would like to read books about those," There was a hint of excitement on Alexandra's tone of voice and she couldn't hide the excitement when she heard what Carlos said. "If we walked around on the second floor, maybe I can remember," Carlos said and they head towards the stairs while Gilbert remained on the 1st floor with his personal knight to look for books.


When Alexandra opened her eyes, she suddenly became a princess?!



She was hit by a truck and born once again as a baby, aside from that, she can remember her previous life.



But she wasn't like the other princess who gets to be with their family. She was a princess yet to be announced and being observed. She was born in a supposedly all-males only bloodline and they think she was a curse or bad luck. Her brothers and father hated her.


Out of all things in her life, she never expected this to happen.


Watch Alexandra as she conquers the heart of her brothers and softens the stone heart of the emperor with her charm and go through the journey of her new life as she slowly uncovered and revealed everything.

Hi there! This novel has already been written by moonvaleriee(so she's the author, not me). I loved this novel, but unfortunately it hasn't updated in about 11 months. I'm not sure whether I am allowed to do this or not (if I am not allowed to, I will stop, that's no problem) I thought I could keep updating it. I have not continued to write it myself now, but there is a continuation on the Internet. If I am really not allowed to, please let me know.

Alexandra grabbed Christian's wrist before she pulled him along with her as they walked towards the couch surrounded by people. They watched the two of them walked towards them, a smile creeping across their faces as they did so. The sight of the two were cute, gentle smiles plastered in their faces, their gazes warm and filled with hope, the expressions on their faces bright.



To think that the young prince would also join them and get along with them was far way too impossible and unexpected. They weren't expecting this since they knew that the prince was shy and doesn't like to talk with others. It must be a miracle, they thought themselves. Why would anyone think of this little girl as a curse when she's so cute and she was able to encourage the prince to come out of its shell? She's more of an angel, they thought their selves.



Alexandra and Christian sat on the empty spot, they were sitting beside each other and Alexandra already let go of Christian's wrist. "Young Miss, may I ask you something?" One of them asked, Alexandra still doesn't know what their names are. "What is it?" Alexandra asked as she looked at the girl who was wearing a maid uniform, the similar one as Isabella was wearing. Before the girl spoke, Isabella interrupted her but it's not in a rude manner.



"Wait, before that, would you mind introducing yourselves so that the young miss would be able to know who you are? Even though she might not be able to remember your names, it would still better that you introduce yourselves so she might be able to recognize you or something," Isabella said. Alexandra let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, she brought that up, it would be hard to know or get along with them if I don't know what their names are, she thought to herself. "You're right," The girl who was about to ask Alexandra said while looking at Isabella.



She turned to look at Alexandra and smiled at her first before she spoke, "I am Clarita, I am one of the maids working at this palace obviously. I usually work and help at the kitchen," She said with a smile across her face. She has Auburn hair tied in a bun and her skin was pale. She looked young, she is probably 17 or 18 years old, Alexandra thought to herself as she observed the girl more. Almost all of the maids here looked young, she roamed her eyes around the room and looked at each one of the maids except for the ones behind her. It's not like the maids at my palace aren't also as young as them although Diana was already 23 years old as well as Diana. The youngest ones are Daisy and Hannah who are just 16 years old while the oldest was Lilith who was already 25 years old.



Most of the girls, even though they came from low-class families, were already seeking a suitable partner at the age of 18 yet Diana and Lilith didn't. They promised that they will serve me until their last breathe and love means nothing for them, Alexandra couldn't help but heave a sigh when she remembered what they said to her. Diana and Lilith were beautiful and it would be a waste that they wouldn't get married but it's not like I was the one controlling their life or something. If they are happy then I am happy.



As she was deep in thought, somebody called out to her and cut off her thoughts. "Alexandra," She turned her head towards Christian who was the one who called out to her. She blinked multiple times, her eyes wide in wonder on why he called out to her. "Your answer?" What answer? Alexandra thought to herself confused before she turned her head towards Clarita who was silent and just staring at her. Right, I forgot that she was going to ask me something. I was deep in thought that I forgot about it, she thought and mentally slapped her forehead.



"I'm sorry, is my question really that offending or something? You can choose not to answer it," Clarita said. She looked rather dejected or sad, the expression on her face wasn't bright. There was a smile on her face but it was just a faint one. Alexandra didn't know that the time when she sighed was the time that Clarita asked her a question and she didn't answer her for a long time, so she probably thought that Alexandra didn't want to answer her question because it was offending or it involves her private life or she was stepping over the boundaries even though it was just a simple question.



"No, no. I was just thinking about something. I should be the one who is sorry, can you repeat the question again?" Alexandra said in a gentle voice as she smiled at Clarita whose expression brightened right after she heard what Alexandra said. "Is that so? What I was asking was what your hobbies are? I just want to ask it so that we have a clue on what you like," Clarita said as her smile widened. Oh, so she was just asking that Alexandra thought to herself and nodded repeatedly before she answered Clarita's question.



"Just like Brother Christian and Brother Gilbert, I also like to read books! Reading is actually fun and it feels like I learn and gain some more knowledge as I read. I usually read when I got nothing to do or if I am bored, that is probably why Brother Christian and I are very close. But if I am also tired of reading, I would go out of the garden and pick some flowers so that I will arrange it and put it in the vase inside my room. Sometimes I would make flower crowns out of it. Two of my maids, Daisy and Yulli, was the one who taught and helped me how to do it," Alexandra responded. Her face becoming gentler as she spoke. She is slowly becoming more comfortable around them.



Well, reading wasn't totally her hobby in her past life. She was way too busy trying to survive by working day and night that she never gets to have her alone time nor does she gets to rest for a whole day. Her mother was the one who always read books for her if she doesn't want to sing a lullaby because of some reasons during the night so that she can fall asleep fast. The story wasn't the one who makes her sleepy but rather it was her mother's gentle and sweet voice which would fill the whole room. It was the only sound or voice that she can hear piercing through the silence and before she knew it, she falls asleep.



The times where her mother was alive were the best but she can only recall a few memories of her mother. She doesn't know why.



"Then if it's not rude to ask, your highness and young miss, what kind of books do you like to read?" Clarita asked, interrupting her train of thoughts once again. She was pulled back to reality and before she was open her mouth to answer, Christian was the one who spoke first and interrupting what she was about to say.



"I actually like to read books about history. You can gain more knowledge and know about the past when you read history books. Aside from that, I find it quite entertaining and fun to read. I was always curious and I want to know what happened and how did it happen, the war and such things. Being able to know it would somehow make me happy because all of my questions that would linger inside my head and distract me at whatever I do would be answered," Christian said in a low voice as if he was shy. He was trying to have a conversation and talk with them, Alexandra felt like crying. It was like watching a kid who she took care of grow up and become successful. He looked soft and innocent and Alexandra wanted to hug him but held herself back.



Christian might be flawless and look friendly however, he was shy. Christian was an introvert, that's why. Well, when it comes to books especially history, he is willing to talk about it. He was excited when he learned that there were new books added at their library and when Alexandra talked about the books in her palace that were already old and was mainly about the history of some kingdoms, empires, families, and such things. He was like a kid brought to a toy shop and was told that he can buy as many toys as he wants or when he comes home from school and his mother cooked his favorite food.



Even the people surrounding them were shocked and speechless that he was the first one to answer and he didn't hesitate although he looked shy just like what he is. They couldn't believe it and silence surrounded the room, Christian knows the reason why and he lowered his head, his ears were red and he looked like he was pouting. The prince is blushing and pouting, I repeat, the prince is blushing and pouting. An arrow went straight to their hearts and it feels like they were attacked.



He doesn't know what to say in this atmosphere, it was silent and they were staring at him so he was becoming shy as seconds passed. Alexandra couldn't help but notice this and smile as she looked at Christian. Well, I already felt that before too, she thought to herself. It feels like you just want to disappear at that moment.



"Yes. Just like Brother Christian I also like to read history books but not that much. I prefer to read books that are mainly about flowers and what I like. I also like to read books that are fiction, it was probably because of Brother Gilbert when I saw him reading books about fiction. I thought it would be a good one and I decided to read one and I didn't regret it," Just like that, Alexandra responded in a cheerful tone of voice. She looked happy and proud because of what happened earlier. She was proud because of Christian and at the same time, happy about it.



Christian looked at her and blinked, Alexandra showed a grin. Her eyes closing at the process and honestly, she looked cute. "Is that so? Some of us also like to read too. Well, it was all fiction books but reading is still fun. I am glad that you answered our question, young miss," Clarita said. Her eyes sparkled and twinkled just like stars in the night sky and her voice sounded cheerful. It was laced with happiness and she smiled at them, her eyes also closing at the process.



Ah, their voices are so gentle and sweet, Clarita thought to herself as she recalled what Christian said earlier. The sight of the prince being shy was too much for her. It was a rare sight and she couldn't believe that she was actually witnessing this. The same goes for others. 



Then everything went smoothly right after. She was able to get along with almost everyone as they asked her and Christian some things. She was able to get to know them as they talked and Christian gradually became comfortable and talkative as the conversation went on. She was able to talk with almost all of them and knew what their names are and what they do or what they like to do. Everything was well and Alexandra couldn't be happier, she hopes that everything will still be fine after this and she wouldn't encounter problems or something.



Even just for a while, please I just want to remain like this, Alexandra thought to herself as they talked with them. They looked like close friends, talking with each other, and what they like. Well, she has to go back to the palace right after and they still have duties to do so the conversation ended because of that. Alexandra still doesn't want to leave during that time but she has to.

For Danielle it is certain that everything is gone at this point for her. There is nothing left for her to do again. Things called Hope, life, and a bunch of other things she thought had meaning now has no meaning for her. She is in a void of emptiness and grief. For Danielle right now Life Is pointless. This is a tale she has  told many times before about her life. The same thing happened to her mother. Her grandmother's mother and her grand mother. It is simply like a generational curse of pain and emptiness. 
'It's all good though, he will come back.' this Is the lie Danielle chose to believe. But there's only so much you can do to ignore. Pain, strife, and many other things happening around her and she can't do anything.  My sweet Danielle You'd wake up one morning and discover your man ain't breathing. He probably got caught in the turmoil. The wars and this distorted reality. I've said it before these things can make a grown man cry and end his life. 
But you won't understand the weight of that statement until you've sat down and cried. All Danielle needs right now is to fall on her knees and cry for salvation. Cry for Damien to finally rest in peace. Life is hard. Like it is really hard

The forth stage of grief is depression. It's depression as everyone calls it. But Danielle is quite sure that it's the most blissful state you can be in you might be hurt or wish you were dead.
But that's because you finally see that this world is completely in shambles. And you'd much rather be free than be caught up in it's distorted lies. I'm just some guy roaming about. Trying to tell people facts and what stuff are about
"Damien I'm sorry, I didn't mean too, I was really foolish and I still am, please forgive me Damien" she kept muttering to herself continuously hoping for an answer. Maybe by some kind of miracle he would come over and hug her and all of this would turn out to be a bad dream, but she looked up and was greeted by the scenario she left before she closed her eyes and she picked up her phone to call the very person who caused all this because she was desperate for some attention.
"Hello?" Christian says as he picks up the phone
"Christian why?" Danielle asks in pain. The question represents her asking Christian why he made her fall in love with him. Why did he persuade her to fall for him. Why did he make their skins touch. Why did he make her fall for him? 
"It's your fault not mine." Christian says to Danielle and she contemplates his statement. 
"You are the one that made me fall. You are the one that persuaded me  to be with you. You allowed me to be with you. Do you not remember what happened? Christian put her on the bed and took her clothes of smirking. Danielle noticed the smirk on his face and chuckled. "Few minutes ago you said I looked good in your clothes look how soon they came off" You said teasing me when the both of us  had completely stripped. 
'Flash back in 3rd person pov'
"Damn girl you sure aren't shy and I guess you look better in your birthday suit" Christian said smirking as he got on top of her and they continued their kiss before Christian broke it off once again Kissing her neck leaving hickeys before he laid down on the bed and Danielle got on top of him.
She immediately got down and immediately took his length into her mouth taking all of it in in one go. Christian groaned from pleasure and Danielle kept at it before crawling on top of him humping against him sharing a deep kiss with Christian before getting up and impaling herself with his little dragon. Danielle seats in the waiting lobby, her eyes sapped of all emotion, but you wouldn't notice because of the tears streaming down her cheeks endlessly. Her heart ached and she hated it. She felt so much anger, pain and regret. "Everything's my fault, everything's my fa-", Danielle was Saying before she heard a voice say "oh you killed somebody. That's pretty intense, then how come you're in the hospital", and the person sat beside her calmly then started looking at her expressionlessly. And to put it plainly, Danielle wasn't ready for this right now or anytime soon. It was the stranger she met in the hospital.
"Danielle right?" Tristan asks and Danielle is shocked to see him there. 
"What are you doing here?" She asks and she believes that maybe he is stalking her and wants her to be his sugar baby. But Danielle should realize that he's too young to be a sugar daddy.
"My little brother Damein committed suicide. That's why I was at the hospital." Triston says and Danielle freezes in shock after realization dawns on her. 
"I'm sorry for your loss." Danielle says 
"Don't be sorry. It seems like you lost more than me."
