I woke up late at night that's why I felt hungry while I still have a high fever. I looked around to my bedroom and I saw nay sleeping on the couch to lookout for me. I notice that I'm wearing a sleep wear so maybe she changes my clothes. Nay, open her eyes and looks at my direction then she saw that I'm awake.  She come near me and touch my forehead to know if my fever come down. 
"You're still have a high fever. Wait me here, I just go downstairs to reheat the soup so you can eat and drink meds in able for you to be feeling well immediately" she said with a smile. I smiled bitterly when nay comes out coz I never experience that my real parents taken care of me. Even though I'm sick they never worry nor ask me if I'm fine. The concern, love, and care that I'm longing for them is got from other people.
After a while she came back carrying a tray which have meds, bowl of soup, and a glass of water. "Here, you should eat this while it is still hot so you be sweating in able for you to be heal immediately" she said and feed me. I finish eating the bowl of soup immediately because it's ten o'clock in the evening and after my lunch at two in the afternoon then I only ate now after that lunch. "Do you still want to eat? There's a lot of soup downstairs coz I know it's your favorite" she said and smile at me.
"Yes! Coz it tastes so good" I answered in a low voice. "You're boasting my confidence too much, my dear. I know that your tasteless coz you have a fever so stop your pretention" she said and pinched my nose. "Nay, I know that it tastes good because you're a good cook" I said with a smile. After I ate and drank medicine, nay went downstairs to wash the dishes. 
"You should rest dear for you to heal fast. You know that we treated you like a real daughter. We don't have our own kid that's why we give you our full attention. That's why we are hurting seeing you getting sick so you should be taking care of your body, dear" she said in a lonely tone. "Nay, you should rest too coz I know your tired. I can take care of myself and I won't wander around. I just rest here so you shouldn't guard me here" I said and smiled at her reassuringly. Nay, went out of my room hesitantly and I want her to rest coz it's late and she needs to wake up early.
I slept almost half of the day that's why I can't sleep now. I browse on my facebook account then I saw a lot of message from my friends asking how am I. I saw how concern they are to me.

Jenny: you should rest so you can join us immediately
Gav: yeah, you were busy these past few days then when you are not, you got sick
Kev: get well soon so you'll be with us again
Gio: you are one week busy and when we saw you, you are always busy so you just greeted us

I smile with their message and for reminding me that I should rest a lot. I'm going to logged out my account when someone sent a message to me.
Kris: how are you, Lou? Did you eat and drank your meds, already? 
Lou: yes, just earlier. Thanks for your concern
Kris: is your fever still high?
Lou: yes
Kris: you should rest now
Lou: but, I'm not sleepy yet
Kris: even though you are not sleepy force yourself to sleep coz you are still sick. I will make a soup tomorrow and it will be deliver on your home together with your meds

I smiled after reading his last message, I took that as a warning coz I know that he's serious. I realize that I gain seven true friends. Actually, I know why I have a fever now because of a lot of tiredness that I felt last week. For me, it's actually a blessing in this guise that I got sick after I'm done with my punishment coz I know if this happen during my punishment then I will be punishing harder.
I wake up at nine in the morning and I still have a high fever. Nay, went into my room and come near me to know if my fever goes down. "Your fever is still high. Bueno, earlier the driver of the Evans came here to delivers here a box of cool fever, vicks, soup in the microwavable Tupperware, and meds. He said it was from his young master and he commanded him to deliver it here immediately" she said with a smile. "Yes, I know coz he said it last night. He informed me that his driver will deliver it here this morning. Actually, I refused from it yet he insisted so I just said okay I will accept it" I said weakly at her. "You are very lucky dear; coz you have a wonderful friend. They are so kind to take care of you yesterday and they send food and things you needed. They also sent flowers for you and those flowers are on the vases here in your room" she said with a genuine smile.
"Dear, I'm going to reheat the soup that they send to you. Then, here is the vicks and I used it earlier to massage your head while you are asleep so your headache will lessen. Now, I'm going to change the cool fever in your forehead" she said and put another cool fever on my forehead. After a few minutes she's back holding a bowl of soup and a glass of water. "Here, dear you should eat much and it looks like he is the one who cook this coz it doesn't look like it comes from the restaurant" she said and continue feeding me.
The soup looks like so delicious that's why I ate it all yet it is so sad that I can't taste it. I still can't taste the food because of the fever. All the food that is serving for me was tastes less that's why I hate the feeling of being sick. After eating the food, I feel sleepy so I lay down on my bed to sleep.

The next morning, Lisa touched Julian's forehead again. His body temperature had started to fall, but it's still not normal. That toddler must have been so overwhelmed from crying enduring the pain and discomfort of yesterday.
Throughout the night, Julian often woke up and woke Lisa who was half asleep. Whenever the toddler cried, Lisa always sang him lullabies and whispered sweet words.

Su Yan acted according to the old lady's instructions and repeatedly ran back and forth. 
After half an hour, the old lady got down from her bed. She stretched out her hand to feel Yan Rusheng's forehead. She exclaimed, "Oh dear. He's still running a high fever and can't do without medication."
Su Yan got anxious when he heard this. "But there isn't any fever medicine on board." 
In his anxiousness, his non-fluent mandarin sounded even less fluent. 
"Dear commuters, our train is arriving at…"
Just then, there was an announcement informing that the train was approaching the next stop.
Hearing the announcement, Su Yan thought for a moment and dashed out. A train attendant, who was dragging a piece of luggage, walked out of a room from the other end. He immediately ran up to him. "Comrade, may I know for how long will the train be stopping at the next station?" 
The train attendant replied, "It's a major station. Hence, it will stop for approximately 7-8 minutes."
"Okay, thank you." Su Yan thanked the attendant in English before asking again, "Is there any pharmacy at the train station?"
When the train attendant heard Su Yan asking for a pharmacy, he asked with concern. "What happened?"
Su Yan said, "My friend is running a high fever, and the temperature doesn't seem to be going down."
The train attendant replied, "Oh. You can approach the train manager to help you ask around for any fever medicine available." 
Su Yan asked, "Isn't there a pharmacy at the train station?"

The train had pulled to a stop. He went back and walked over to Xuxu. "I'm getting off the train to buy medicine for him. Please help me watch over him for a while."

There came a soft moan from the depths of the travelling box. Tarik jumped in and gave a shout creating a flurry of activity. Rowan called for a healer, and for others to help Tarik with the king. Once again Rowan watched as her uncle was assisted into his room to rest. 
“Even the Elven medicine didn’t keep the fever away,” she said to Lea. 
The handmaiden frowned slightly, “I can go look along the river for the herb to make oil if you wish, my lady.”
“Yes. Yes, please go now. Hurry.”
Lea came back shortly, with barely enough herb to fill one vial with oil. Rowan looked into Lea’s eyes and realized they were fighting the same fear, the same frustration, the same struggle, they had fought with Rowan’s family. 
“I’m so sorry, my lady,” Lea’s eyes filled with tears.
Rowan squeezed Lea’s hands, “This is enough. Don’t worry, it worked before! Don’t lose faith!”
Rowan never left her uncle’s side for the next few hours. His fever began to build again, but Rowan’s care of cool cloths, and eventually Lea’s half-elven remedy, eventually allowed him to rest. Leaving the vial of oil in the hands of the healer, Rowan went to her own room to sleep. After tossing and turning for several minutes, she rose and wrote a letter to Elduine.
‘Dear Blacksmith,
I still regret the situation that occurred between our families during our brief stay. I promise when I am Queen things will be different. I had a wonderful time seeing and learning about your home.

“It controls the fever, but not cures it,” Renn said sadly. “I hear things did not go well with the Elven King.
Rowan scoffed, “That my dear Bird-Master, is an understatement!”
Renn chuckled.
“There is a forge on the edge of the kingdom. Do you have a raven that can fly there?”
Renn put a thoughtful finger to his lips and tapped. He then looked at the grumpy raven on his arm.
“Ecoe, you know the way. Perhaps a job will cheer you up.”
In minutes, a large black raven flew from the palace, heading towards a little forge surrounded by a never-ending forest.

Elduine packed up a few more things then headed to his small, secluded cottage on the edge of the Human kingdom. He tried not to think about why he was so eager to get back there but double-checked to make sure there was a full set of Elven hunting arrows in his pack. 
“Leaving us again?” Salinias asked, almost sadly.
“I go once a month,” Elduine said, continuing to fit needed equipment onto his horse. “I’ll be gone for a few days.”
“That means a few weeks,” Salinias scoffed. He paused, “Please tell me you aren’t going to visit that human woman. You’re an Elven Prince!”
“I’m the second son, brother,” Elduine placed a hand on his brother’s shoulder and pulled him into a hug. “It’s up to you to make the family proud.”
The heir to the Elven throne playfully pushed back, “Hey, don’t bruise me!”
With a wave, Elduine mounted and was on his way. 
As he took the half-elven barge across the river, he asked the crew for any recent news.
“King Gregan is still fighting the fever,” one of the crew told him. “It’s too bad.”
“What do you mean? Too bad,” Elduine turned to the half-elf. 
“There has been so much fever on that side of the river, the herbs needed have all been used and will need some time to grow back.”
“Here,” the captain of the barge said, pressing two vials into Elduine’s hands. “Our nation has access to a water lily that fights the fever sickness. No one with fever who uses the oil has died. Keep this with you in case you fall ill.”
Absent-mindedly, the Elven prince thanked the captain and slipped the oil into his side pocket. When he arrived at his cottage, he turned his horse out in the paddock behind the barn. Turning to go to his forge, he noticed a grain bag laying up against the barn. Thoughts of Rowan flooded his mind, and he looked at the bag again. As he felt the holes left from her arrows, a loud cawing sounded from across the yard. 
‘A raven, already!” Elduine’s heart jumped, and he quickly crossed the yard to retrieve the letter from a rather large bird sitting on his window sill.
The Elven blacksmith read Rowan’s letter with a sense of dread. Didn’t Rowan say she lost her father to this fever, and now her uncle is in its grasp?
He looked over towards his jacket hanging by the door. Getting up, he reached in and took out the two small vials. His father would say he should let nature take its course, let the humans learn to make their own healing medicine. Time was not on King Gregan’s side, however. Rowan would lose the man who took her in, named her his heir, calls her his daughter. Could Elduine be so cold as to cause her more grief? The humans would be the only ones to miss King Gregan.

Nadia straightened her back to get out of the car by waking Jonathan first.
"Mr. Jonathan, get up we've arrived." said Nadia, patting Jonathan on the shoulder and then got out of the car to call Marcos to bring a wheelchair for Jonathan.
Not long after, Nadia arrived with Marcos who brought Jonathan's wheelchair.
"Miss ... please, you see the state of your friend. From earlier I saw that it didn't move at all. Is he sleeping like that?" asked the taxi driver a little panicked.
Hearing this, Nadia opened the car door to see Jonathan's condition. She saw Jonathan still motionless in the car.

"You go out first, let me pick up Mr. Jonathan." said Marcos knowing more about Jonathan's condition if he was too tired Jonathan would have had a high fever.
Silently Nadia got out of the car and put Jonathan's wheelchair right at the door of the car.
"Miss Nadia! Please immediately contact Doctor Frederick!" said Marcos as he sat Jonathan in a wheelchair and brought him into the house.
"Mr. Marcos, Doctor Frederick will be here soon." said Nadia, following Marcos into the room and lay Jonathan down on the bed.
"Miss Nadia, please help Mr. Jonathan's pillow on the stack of two." said Marcos as he took off Jonathan's shirt and trousers.
Nadia closed her eyes as Marcos replaced Jonathan's trousers with shorts.
"Miss Nadia, it's over. Please take care of Mr. Jonathan, I will get water and a towel to compress Mr. Jonathan." said Marcos then left the room.
Nadia nodded her head then approached Jonathan who was lying bare-chested. 
This is the first time Nadia has really consciously stared at Jonathan's face freely.
"It turns out that you are very handsome sir, your body is tall but why is your body so fragile? Was it all because of the impact of the accident?" said Nadia while rubbing Jonathan's face with his eyes still tightly closed.
