"Hello mr‍. 5, I will be following you today." Zero said, face calm as ice 

"Well well, this is your first mission right? The higher ups must see something in you. For them to attach you to me." Number 5, mentioned briefly all with a cold smile on his face. 

"You don't have a clue what this mission is right?" He continued, waiting for Zero to reply.

Zero shook his head as he replied "Negative." 

"Okay, since you have no clue, let me just fill you in. Our mission is an information extraction mission. We are required to extract information from an assassin that tried to kill one of our clients." Number 5 mentioned still not taking anything seriously. 

"Affirmative" Zero replied, as monotonous as ever. "So, torture for information?" 

Number 5 shook his head as he answered Zero. "No, torture won't work on these people, they are assassins, do you think they won't have any preparations against being tortured? Their life is not theirs the minute they started to become assassins." 

"So what is the procedure for this scenario." Zero asked, curious as to what he should do. 

Number 5, gave Zero a blank look and shook his head. "You really have no chill. Can you be more expressive? God, you really are like a machine. I can tell why the higher ups appreciate you now." 

Zero, still looking straight ahead replied with a single word. "Thanks" 

Number 5, giving up on saying anything else, beckoned Zero to just follow him. 

After traveling a fair bit of distance, they entered into a bar, back facing the crowd they sat down slowly sipping some drinks. 

Although they seemed to be drowning their sorrows, they were more in tune with the world than anyone else, listening to every conversation that is taking place. 

"There, target sighted." Number 5 whispered into the ears of Zero. "Let's move when he leaves the bar." 

The two of them sat for a considerable amount of time, until the drunk assassin decided to leave. As they trailed him outside, they found him urinating up against a wall. 

Zero decided to take the initiative and grabbed the assassin and slammed him into the wall, he then held him by the neck and threatened him with force. 
"Who hired you to kill Mr. James?" 

"Screw you!" The assassin spat on Zero's face as he started to struggle to be free. 

"Why don't you ask my corpse!" The assassin started to move around his tongue, as if looking for something.

"Crunch!" The sound of teeth being broken could be heard. As a tooth flew out of the assassin's mouth and floated in mid air. 

Number 5 had used his manifest, <Magnetokenisis> to control the metal that the assassin had for the control of his suicide that he stored in his teeth. 

"Listen kid, these assassins always have a failsafe hidden somewhere, for him it's in his teeth. The minute they activate their failsafe, they will die. So you can't interrogate them this way." Number 5 told Zero. 

"So what if you found my failsafe, I am not afraid of death! Torture me, kill me, I will be a free man again after I die." The assassin was nonchalant, already resigning to fate. 

"Sigh, You assassin types are always the same, let me die, kill me, bla bla bla. I'm already sick of hearing all of it. Let me recite to you a poem, 

When the sunlight fade, 
It's time to shine. 
When you close your eyes, 
Your family is mine.

Hahahha, you should know what that means right?" 
Number 5 spoke slowly, it was as if he was too lazy to deal with the assassin. 

The assassin after hearing the poem had his mouth open wide, his eyes started to tear as he became overcome with fear. 

"You… you are from the incubator.. please.. I'll tell you everything. Don't hurt them, please… it was the mayor's wife that engaged us.. please don't hurt them." The assassin begged, but none of his persuading would change a thing. 

"I'm sorry brother, incubator rules, we recite the poem, everything you love, will be eradicated, however, I'm not a bad person. Boy, carry him and bring him along, we'll give him a chance to say goodbye to his family.." Number 5 beckoned for Zero to approach and carry the broken assassin. 

That night, countless deaths rang out throughout the town, before each death countless of screams rang out as a poem was being recited, it was unsure who started to use the poem but one thing is for sure. The poem is cursed, stained with the bloods of many. 

That night, the young Zero had experienced the futility of resistance and the fragility of life. Although in the future just the name of number Zero would bring enough fear for people to break, the poem was left etched into Zero's heart.

Zero had never expected he would be able to use the poem once again, he understood that the threat of death was far more frightening than death itself. 

Seeing the assassin he had caught shivering, Zero did his best to create the cold look he had attained before in his previous life. 

"The incubator is not keen on having external parties interfere with our plans. Tell me now, who sent you." Zero inquired again with great calm in his voice. 

"I'll tell you.. although assassins are not supposed to know the hirers.. I did check up to see what my job is… with such high risk for 2 unknowns, in case anything happened I still have leverage…" Night Swallow started to tell the story about how he found out the information. 

Zero shook his head. "I have no patience to listen to your story and your organisation's job processes. Give me what I need to know right now." 

"It's the Graeme family. They want you dead! If I had known you were from the incubator no amount of money would make me even think of killing you. Please don't harm my family.. I'm doing this for a living.. just to survive.. please.." Night Swallow started begging, crying on his knees. 

"Good. I'll allow you to use your failsafe, you have my word your family will be safe. I won't touch them." Zero smiled as he turned around and walked away. A scream could be heard behind him as Night Swallow's body exploded to bits. 

[Graeme family huh. It's fine if you came for me, but you actually wanted to harm Law and Odrunn too? I'll give you one more chance, pull something like this again and I can ensure that I personally wipe away all traces of the Graeme family.] Zero clenched his fists as he slowly made his way back to Law and Odrunn.

Back in the dark tower, within a room. A figure hurriedly ran towards the manager. 

"Sir, it seems all signs of life for Night Swallow has been lost, he used his fail safe. Would you like to launch an inquiry for his demise?" 

The manager shook his head. "No, hold off on that. It seems that they might have some people backing them afterall. Tell Mrs Graeme that the conditions have just changed, 2 million per head and we will send someone stronger just for insurance." 

After the figure left the room, the manager shook his head as he mumbled to himself. "Night Swallow is a cowardly assassin who is most afraid of death, for someone to actually force him to use the fail safe, have we kicked a hornet's nest this time?" 

Zero finally joined back with Odrunn and Law who were at the side of the road looking at something. Crowds of people were gathered at the side of this stall, as more and more people were gathered wanting a piece of the action. 

"Come come! One and all, we are opening all challenges for arm wrestling! If you can fight with our number 1 contender! You stand a chance to walk away with 1000 credits for a mere 10 credit investment! Don't be shy!" A ringmaster in a top hat shouted out as a figure decked in full leather covered from head to toe sat down on a table in front of him. 

"I'll do it. A burly man decided to go for it, he rolled up his sleeves and started to position himself."

Acute Dark placed AI form in The Titan. The Walking Machine Titan.  The Walking Machine Titan was Cornelius"s fourth giant machine used in the Third Great War. However, the fourth great machine was destroyed and sunk to the bottom of The Death Sea. Recently The Walking Machine Titan was pulled out of the Death Sea and many repairs were made on it. The Walking Machine Titan was now at least 20 times more powerful. The Walking Machine Titan would go up against The Towering Mecha which was also created by Cornelius.

When the ship arrived in The Isle Of Zero Degree's Celsius it caught the attention of the battle sabretooth cats. The Isle Of Zero's Degrees Celsius had two sequencings. One part was called Frosty which was were Hydra the ultimate weapon was behind created. Frosty was however surrounded by a giant wall. The other part of the Isle Of Zero Degrees Celsius was Cold Hands. Cold Hands was were Cross, Sarah, Jesse, John, Orion, Lucia, Akashiri, and Naomi landed. This was also where The Chosen Mountain was.

Lawless look at him blankly before turning his head to Shin. Shin is looking at S.Tigris with caution under his Mask, then after a few moments of consideration he said. "If you just going to say that you want to be friends with us, then you are just wasting your time. I don't like a 'Two-Face' people like you."

S.Tigris is startled because of what Shin have said, then he reply without removing the smile on his face. "This is the first time that I hear a person call me a Two-Face. I'm a man of my words and quite a straight forward person, so I apologize if I cause you a misunderstanding."

Shin look at his eyes straight and said. "Is that so? Then just state what you want from us."

"Well I think that you want sell some of your things right? I'm here to buy it from you, how is that sound?" said S.Tigris while trying to fight the twitching of his lips.

"OK" said Shin briefly before showing the details of all the loots that he what to sell.

S.Tigris look at the entire list before saying. "That should be a total of 1500 Gold. Is that all that you want to sell? I'd I'm not mistaken you still have some Skill Books in you right?"

'So that is what you want?' said Shin to himself before saying. "I'm only exchanging it with a Skill Books of similar value."

"Is that so? Then just contact me if you have decided to trade it with me. You can also tell me if you have a Skill that you want in mind." said S.Tigris while sending a friend request.

Shin smirks and rejected the friend request while saying. "Aren't you a part of a powerful guild? Then that means you have a lot of eyes in the City. I'm just going to sell my things in this square, so if you what my things you can just find me here."

Then Shin finishes the trade and walk away having Lawless in tow. S.Tigris just stare blankly at Shin's walking figure for a while, before coming back at his senses again.

He turn his head and see Raven trying so hard to hold his laughter. And when Raven see his Captain's face, he failed to contain it any longer and start laughing out loudly. "Hahaha.... Look at that Cap't! You have been rejected before you manage to state what's your real purpose. That was... That was... Hahaha..."


The corner of S.Tigris' mouth twitch when he heard Raven's laughter, then he said while frowning his brows. "Actually I'm more interested on finding a new sparring partner. How about you take that spot."

Shin almost jump out of fright because of the sudden appearance of the Elf. He look at him and said to himself. "How the hell did this guy appear in here. I can't even feel his presence."

Lawless act as if nothing happened and continue to drink. Then after a few moments he look at the Elf and said. "Faker, if you keep doing that habit, you might kill someone because of heart attack."

The Elf named 'Faker' is a Twilight Dark Elf, he looks like a teenager like Shin. He is wearing a black sleeveless long coat with a hood on his head.

Faker is tossing a throwing dagger in the air with his right hand when he heard what Lawless have said. Then suddenly his eyes turn fierce before throwing the dagger at Lawless.


As if Lawless expected it, he move his head sideways avoiding the dagger, then he look at Shin and introduce the his friend. "Bro, this is a sworn brother of mine Faker. We are friends even in Real World."


Lawless pause for a second before looking at Faker and introduce Shin. "Oi, this guy is my new Brother, 'Sickarius'."

Faker look at Shin and said. "Yeah, I know him. He is already a new star in the forums. Killing Gray Fangs in public, not bad for a Newbie. But you should be careful next time you go outside the City, those guy that you provoke are troublesome insane people."

Lawless cut in and said. " Stop wasting you words on him Faker. This guy have no idea who they are. He even rejected S.Tigris invitation."

Faker raise his brows with a questioning look. Shin got irritated because of that look and asked Lawless. "How about you tell me who they are?"

Lawless laugh and reply. "Haha... That was a good question. Actually it's a bit simple. The players are categorize in 4 ranks."


"First are Newbie Players, they are the people that have just join the game. Most of their levels are below Level 50."


"Second are Veteran Players, they are the ones that played a lot of other games before «Destiny's Fate», so they are quite familiar about the information and fighting styles of the games. Their level varies from Level 50 to Level 70."


"Next are the Elite Players,  these players are the cream of the crop. They not only know about the game but also very good at battles. All of them also passed the Class Promotion Trials for 'Tier 2' classes. While most of them owns a 'Self-Created Skill'. Their Levels are practically above Level 75."


At this point Shin frown his brows and interrupt Lawless. "Level 75? I thought a player can advance to Tier 2 at Level 50?"

Lawless stop for a moment before continuing. "Ah! About that? Actually that is only applicable to Swordsman related Class."

Lawless didn't wait for Shin to ask why and continue what he are saying. "That is because of a certain man. The Sword God 'Zero', he manage to clear a 'World Conquest Quest' that gives a privilege to Swordsman related Classes to take a Class Promotion at Level 50."

"Then going back to the topic, the next category is the Rankers. If the Elites are the cream of the crop then Rankers are the 1% of those Elites. Aside from being promoted to a Tier 2 Class, they also have their own Fighting Combat Techniques."

The ability of Telos Karma was the most troublesome one to deal with. Before it would have been slightly tricky but now…

Meanwhile Zero just released the seal blocking the space. It was a secondary measure, had they escaped his domain.

Moving away Zero decided to pay a visit to a special place.

As he appeared on a small hill, a lot of seals and magic sequences could be felt protecting the area. Unless someone was very knowledgable regarding magic they would not be able to detect them.
 
On the top of the hill, a tombstone resided, indicating that someone was buried here.
 
Once Zero got closer, a single word could be read on the tombstone, written in old English, translating to 'Idiot'.
 
Zero: "The sword isn't here anymore. The body has lost the faint connection to the soul so she is gone as well.  Faint traces of summoning magic. High probability that they summoned the soul and the magic enchantment on my old sword intervened. As even I couldn't resist I would guess that the sword was destroyed after it struggled against the summoning and was flung in different worlds. Judging by the fact that it was Fate Series that the sword ended up and the memories that came through my command to Saber, it supports the theory that her soul is somewhere in the Fate Series."
 
'It would be useless to try to find her using my system as it can only take me to the default setting world and not its parallel worlds. That depends on 'luck'. My first objective right now is to obtain control over that luck. 
 
'System, the random world has passed so I should be able to go where I want right?���
