Nang makarating si Qarly sa may entrance ng mall, she spread her arms to the air.

"Wooh! Free of my introvert life and now I'm a extrovert fake." Natawa siya sa nasabi niya about being an extrovert fake.

She used to think na she's ambivert. In between ng introvert and extrovert.

Kasi nga naman hindi siya a hundred percent taong bahay. She just likes the comfort of her own home. Still, she gets out of her house whenever she feels stuffy there.

Pero yun nga extrovert fake siya kasi mas nangingibabaw ang tamis ng kape o tapang ng kape. Still, she thinks herself as a person na more introverted and than extroverted.

She just considered herself a fake outgoing person and seems like an okay person towards others.

It's only a filter that she projects so people won't see her as an easygoing type.

Marami kasing gusto talaga siya kunin. Fortunately, sobrang higpit at talagang professionals ang security detail niya tuwing nalabas siya. 

One time, when her parents allowed her to roam sa toy stores and book store, muntik na magpa-tawag ng ambulansya at search and rescue team dahil lang nawala sa paningin nung Yaya niya si Qarly. The nanny was fired and luckily, Qarly did show up and her parents were almost dead mad for what she did back then.

"Anak naman, alam mo naman ang sitwasyon natin, bakit hindi mo sinama ang Yaya mo?"

Halos mangiyak-ngiyak na ang nanay nito.

"Where'd you go, Qarly Renue?" Lagot tinawag na siya with her last name ni pudrakels.

"I just got curious kung ano ba yung novelty store, yun pala it's the one that I love most than books and toys." In her young mind, natutunan agad ni Qarly kung ano ang mas magpapa-lakas sa skills niya as an aspiring actress. She needs to compromise with gadgets or DIY things for her props and stuff.

Ayaw niya kasi na hindi niya alam gawin ang isang bagay na kaya naman pala niya i-hulma na siya mismo.

Yes, she's a total DIY enthusiast. It's another type of her having independence too much.

Maalam na siya kung paano gumana ang mga bagay-bagay kahit na sa maiksing panahon niya lang ito nakita or nabasa man lang ang instructions. "Jack of all trades, master to none, but oftentimes a master to one." Yan ang motto niya for her life.

"Let's go home." Natapos ang araw na yun na talagang sinermunan siya ng husto ng ina.

Kaya naman, may namuong hatred sa puso niya si Qarly towards her own mother but fortunately, her father tells her na, "Wala na tayo magagawa, siya lang ang mama mo kaya tanggapin mo na ganyan siya sayo."

For a young Qarly, she didn't take it to heart, not because she doesn't care but, she only does what makes her happy at the moment.

Kahit na may kumokontra sa mga ideya at gawa niya. Malakas ang tiwala niya sa kanyang sarili. Main goal kasi niya ang laging sumaya kahit in reality, kailangan rin ng kalungkutan para maging balanse ang isang tao.

Qarly is a very hard-working person. If no one supports her dreams and goals in life, she makes her own support team. Herself only.

Masakit man na makita na sarili lang natatangging kakampi niya, still she doesn't care what others see. As long as she does things her way or no way. Confidence level is too much. Pero para rin naman sa kanya ang arrogance niya for achieving her wants and needs.

Ngayon nga, after niya i-drop si Coral sa isang doggy day care, nagsimula na siya hanapin ang kanyang boyfriend.

"Ouch! Saan ka ba nakatingin, at binangga mo ako?!" sigaw niya sa nakabundol niyang tao.

When she looked up, she saw a poker face boy na mukhang mas nakakatanda sa kanya ng ilang taon. "Pasensya na bata." Nilahad naman ng lalaki ang kanyang isang kamay para tulungan sana si Qarly makatayo.

"Huwag na, ayoko sa mga tulad mo na pabaya," pinagpag niya ang kanyang unicorn outfit. "Ang bata pa pero napaka-maldita na."

Napataas ang kilay ni Qarly sa narinig. "Hoy, Syre Dane, kung makaasta ka parang close tayo ah?" Bumalik si Syre Dane sa harap ni Qarly, papaalis na sana siya kung hindi lang nito nasabi ang pangalan niya.

Magsasalita na sana ito, pero tinuro ni Qarly ang name sticker sa dibdib ni Syre Dane.

"Tsk, boys are so clueless rin pala mapa-fictional or real." Tumalikod na si Qarly dahil hahanapin niya pa ang boyfriend niya.

Little does she know, nahanap na siya ng kanyang boyfriend. Hihi!

Qarly Renue is an aspiring actress. One day, she met Syre Dane the guy who swept off her feet.

Hey my Sleepies! (tawag ko sa aking supporters and readers kung may magbasa nito), anyway, this is my next story after or during "Eternal Infatuation."

I was really in a nervous yet happy state when I first got the idea to begin another story here a Webnovel.

It isn't difficult to create new stories, it's the process that gives me tension yet fulfillment when I update them.

"Good! Yes, that's how you do it! GOOD!" The instructor said clapping his hands. The soldiers were currently learning some combat moves in the cave. "Instructor, want to compare?" Aerwyna cockily smirked. Her sharp peach blossom eyes filled with ruthlessness and a murder like feeling. "Okay, let's fight!" The instructor accepted calmly and those two flew like swords at each other. A cold and ruthless lady with a strong armed instructor, such ruthless enemies who aimed at each other's throat.  

Their battle finally ends when the bell clam in the tower rung. "Such a worthy opponent, we shall fight again someday." The instructor says and side way glanced at Aerwyna. "Indeed, a worthy opponent. Let's fight on a rainy stormy tide." Aerwyna says back and turns to leave. Just like that, the two people coldly left in different directions.

"Aerwyna! Why didn't you just beat the instructor to a pulp?" Yin teases while looking at Aerwyna. "You like him." Aerwyna's short answer flustered the always sassy confident mermaid. "whaaaaaaat?! No way will I ever like that shameless man!" Yin warns with a red flustered face. 'Why do you have to deny it with such a flustered face.. -_-' Aerwyna thought and shook her head, 'No, why would she like him in the first place? His muscles? Brains? strength? Looks?' Aerwyna thought and soon was in her own little world.

"Do you believe in mythical creatures?" A soft voice sounded from the stage. The lights slowly lights up the shadowy figure that was standing on the stage. "There was a story about a mermaid saving the prince and chases her love." Her voice was mellow and faint, making them feel a new vibe to the story. The figure was finally below a well lightened up area of the stage. A female with long black hair up to her waist and a book in her hand. She lightly steps up while her dark brown eyes still stuck to the book. She continues, "There once was a mermaid princess named Ariel who looked exactly like the mermaid mother, the late queen of the mermaids. She was an extrovert and loved to collect things." The girl finishes the line then the actors came up to perform.

Behind the stage, a small boy with a bunny's courage lowers his head down while grabbing stuff for his actor. He was sort of an assistant since the actors always have to change to multiple clothings to fit the story line. "Jungkook, can you get me a bottle of water?" A deep soft voice sounded in a private room. The small bunny-like boy nods his head a little and ran towards the water bottles. Jungkook gives it to Taehyung, the one with a deep voice. "Thank you." Jungkook just nods again and lowered his head.

"Jungkook, why are you an assistant when you can clearly become one of the best actors out there?" Taehyung's deep voice was filled with confusion but also pity to his bunny assistant.

"Do you believe in mythical creatures?" The girl's voice again vibrates towards the audience and the crews backstage. "Do you believe in mythical creatures?" Taehyung repeats the girl and looks at Jungkook. "Yes." Jungkook spoke out unhesitatingly with stars in his eyes. 

Jungkook and his mother once went on a trip to New York but their airplane came crashing down towards the middle of the ocean. Every passenger had on their life vest and parachute. The only ones where Jungkook and a small child. There was only one parachute left so Jungkook quickly put it on the kid and told him how to use it. Jungkook just wanted to make sure and pushed the child out while pulling the thing to trigger the parachute. Jungkook was grabbed by his mother. His mother and him finally jumped together with one parachute. Jungkook was holding onto his mother for his dear life while his mother was holding on him and his clothes while operating the direction of the parachute. They weren't as far from New York so they barely made it before falling 3 miles away from land. A small girl swam with the female adult and son, while the two were unconscious. Slowly, the three approached land. He was able to hear the little girl's voice saying, "Please help them grandma," before he fainted, he also saw a tail with the prettiest scales he has ever seen. After that they were taken in and investigated by police.

Jungkook kept thinking about that small child with exceptional milky tan skin. Jungkook remember's the kid's last word before he got off, "My name is....Park Jimin."

Next game he lost to Hana and the last to Sai. There was no soul in there that did not know he lost on his want. They knew he could win.

A Sunday was so much needed for May. She was so tired from her exams. And more tired because of anime but she would never agree to that. As she lay in her bed her thoughts drifted to the time when she had the small group of friends whom she would give up everything for. Last night Jessica had called her and they spoke for an hour.

Things were not very beautiful back then but they were contending and happy to a good extent. She missed all of them.

She remembered Sai. He was her best friend. Or probably is still.

During the initial months of their friendship, they were almost always beside each other, helping each other out. Both being the only new students of their class that year, they had grown up have the other's back. Then, there were James and Jessica. The couple was two years senior to them. She did not know how Sai made friends with them in just one day of joining there. He told her that they were both a part of the school club he had applied for. James had checked him for the club membership. It was the art club. Sai was pretty good at abstract painting.

Slowly, she got herself into their initial group of three. After just a week, Ton has become a part too. A year later, Fern became the last one of their clique. Fern initially was a subordinate to Jessica at tennis. They were the only two sports persons among them. Funny how there was no guy in it. James was a study nerd. In fact, he was famous as one. Ton was more of an extrovert than any of them, even more than herself. He was what a spontaneous leader would be. Though, he never headed anything major, it was obvious he wouldn't make a good lead from his speeches and debating skills. Sai was not a nerd, he spent more time in talking a leisure walk than spending with books. He was an intelligent. He spent even little time painting but was on par with James who would spend an equally serious amount of time on art works as he would with his subject books.

"I think I love you," I told him. The feeling of wanting to be with him for the rest of the time started the day he first visited me at the orphanage.

But was that really possible? "I'm technically your sister," I said. We were old enough to understand certain things.

"Adopted." He stressed. "What I asked them was I wanted to you be with me forever. There will be no one to point on that," he said. Were things really that simple? But listening him say them was all I needed.

I found out that I was pregnant almost a fortnight ago and which woman does not be happy? I wanted to tell him first and I did. But the reaction he gave made me doubt my entire life. First it was a surprise and then, as I waited for his response, I watched his eyes become happy. But before he smiled, a very small and indecipherable frown appeared and he hugged me tight not giving me a chance to read his face anymore. His breathing was quick and heavy. After he released me, I took in the smile on his face; only, I didn't know if I should call it a smile. All there was in his eyes was a hue of sadness.

"What's wrong?" I questioned him directly. His face changed once again. He seemed troubled.

"Nothing," he smiled and added that he was happy.

"You're not," I stated. He is not a fool to think that I would not know when something is wrong. And he would be more wrong to think that I would let this slip.

“Look at me.” I said calmly. He shifted his head but still avoided my eyes. I walked up to him and put my eyes in his line of sight.

“Don’t you know what I mean ‘every day’?”

He took a quick step back. “Jessie, what’s wrong? Why are you like this?” What’s wrong?

An ear piercing sound rang through the room. I slapped hard across the face. Then I noticed that I started crying. Through my blurry eyes, I saw his eyes tearing up too. This was yet another unpleasant first. The first time I was forced to slap him.

“Are you okay?” I asked him lifting my head to see his face. His chin rested on my head and I still did not have a proper look. I tried to move my head slowly in another attempt, but he held me tight, not letting me move. Was he still crying? Perhaps that was why he did not like me seeing him.

When we were kids and something troubled him, he used to find me to let it out. Crying was included sometimes. He did not hide his tears back then. Because, boys did not particularly cry in front of their girls, I questioned him how he saw this once. It was a playful teasing that I aimed at. But, he gave me a serious and truthful confession in return. Mentally I am the stronger one and he told me that crying in front of me never felt like he was lowering himself. That was his level of acceptance.

But everything he is doing now is in a stark controversy to my beliefs.

He spoke after calming himself more, “I’m not.”

This story has 3 volumes. From the name, it is not odd that this is totally based on love. The first volume is a little tragic, the reason why it is under realistic fiction. If tragic romance upsets you, then this might as well.
