The elders had arrived at her place just a few hours after her breakthrough and were quite surprised by that outcome. It has only been more or less a year since she entered the Core Formation Realm. That speed was simply frightening!
Of course, other than her Pure Yin Body, Shinja had the Spiritual Energy Meridians. Thanks for that too. All the spiritual energy absorbed is immediately compatible with her core, so she only needs to focus on converting it into the Elemental Source Energy. Not to mention that the Ice Hell Danger Zone Spiritual Energy is easier to be converted as already mentioned.
Krune was still in the Forging room. Marcus was working in the last shield at the moment, and that would take some time to finish. But he wasn't in a hurry anyway. He took his time to separate the Elemental Source Energy from the spiritual energy he uses for cultivation while reinforcing his foundation. Even if just 10% turns into Elemental Source Energy, after a long time of cultivation, Krune already had quite a bit of it. He couldn't help but feel hopeful about his Core Formation Realm Breakthrough.
Two hours later, Marcus asked for him to forge the last Divine Imprint. By this time, Krune was already wholly used with the forging process. However, he ignored that idea, he had waited for so long already, a few more hours would make no difference, so he stayed.
It was already night time when Marcus took a deep breath. The last of the thirty-eight shields was finally completed. One could see the fatigue on his face, but at the same time, he seemed quite pleased with the results. He then passed it to Krune and asked him to give a quick try with all of them together.
Krune was also happy to see that all of them were finally made and immediately took out the other thirty-seven shields. After charging them with enough spiritual energy, Krune went to an open space of the room, releasing the shields on the air. They started to float around him, following different directions. It was quite a magical scene to see Krune in the center of those flying shields. Marcus couldn't help but nod in approval. Krune could really control all of them at the same time.
Krune then performed a few maneuvers but couldn't get them to attach together as he wanted. Sometimes they didn't stop one beside the other as he wanted. Other times their corners hit the corners of the other shields, leaving the formation of the shield wall incomplete. Marcus saw Krune doing that and started to laugh out loud.
"That is to be expected. Precisely controlling thirty-eight shields at once wasn't something that a Foundation Establishment Realm cultivator could do to start with. You will need to practice quite a lot, but since you can, to a certain extent, already control them, it will only be a time issue until you can use them properly."
Krune then recalled the Shields back into his spatial ring and nodded to Marcus.
"I was already expecting it as well. It's really hard to control them perfectly, but I believe I will be able to do so in no time. I really have to thank you for these marvelous shields. They are simply amazing, I can feel the sturdiness of every single one of them. Not to mention how easily the spiritual energy and the elements flow inside of them. I can definitely call them masterpieces!"
Marcus nodded.
"There is no need for all of that blabbering. I was paid for this job already anyway. So it goes without saying that I would definitely complete them to the best of my abilities. I look forward to seeing how you will use them in the Martial Gathering."
Krune nodded and exchanged a few more words. Just when he was about to leave, Marcus called him from behind.
"Krune, your talent for forging is no less than Alchemy or Formations. In the future, you will understand that a weapon, or a shield in your case, can only achieve its best results in the hands of the person who forged it. So, don't give up forging! It will be of immense help to you in the future."
Krune wasn't surprised with that statement since he'd already guessed as much. But for him to be able to make shields of that quality, he would need to be at least a Five Stars Blacksmith like Marcus, and he didn't have enough time nor the cultivation to reach that level.
"I know, I will not leave my forging skills behind. There will come a day when I forge the perfect shields."
Marcus heard that and was surprised.
"So you didn't want to simply make a few Divine Imprints, that is good. Don't forget to pay me a visit after you come back from the Martial Gathering. I want to hear how was the performance of my babies."
Marcus then passed a spatial ring to Krune.
"Inside, you will find the necessary materials to repair your shields. You might not have achieved the level to make them, but it should be no problem for you to keep them in good condition."
Marcus then laughed and went back to the Blacksmith Hall.
Krune liked Marcus very much. He was really an easygoing person and kind to talk with. Not to mention that his abilities were the real deal.

Krune went back to his room and opened his communicator. He then told Yusa and the others that he had finished making his equipment, and asked whether they didn't want to go eat something. As everyone had been busy training all that time, relaxing was much appreciated.
They gathered in Ao's room, and the one who cooked, of course, was Krune again. After the food was ready, they started to eat, while Krune explained what had happened after creating the ninth meridian. Shinja and the others couldn't help but be amazed by that, of course. Krune left out little light's existence.
"The meridians opened a spatial gate. How is that even possible? It's a totally different matter from simply teleporting! I can't believe that."
Shinja was a lot more concerned with the changes, though.
"To think you can acquire Elemental Source Energy before the Core Formation Realm! If I knew that, I would have waited for when I also had nine meridians, which would give me a nice boost."
Of course, Shinja knew that Krune was a pioneer in the Spiritual Energy Meridians, so he discovered things little by little.
Krune then said.
"I gathered some information, and it seems there are a few that can help with the core, just like the Elemental Energy Source. However, you won't be able to find them here in the Makui Planet."
Yusa and Ao were a little sad.
"In our case, it's even worse. We do know that it is possible to do that. But because our dantains can't support nine Spiritual Energy Meridians, we won't be able to do it before the Core Formation Realm, even if we know."
Krune then shook his head.
"It might be impossible! But don't forget that once you break into the Core Formation Realm, you should be able to support nine Spiritual Energy Meridians. At that time, we will know if they can also be upgraded to the Elemental Source Meridians like me."

She then continued.
"But I already tested if it is possible to create a seventh meridian, and I can start the process without feeling anything. You should be able to do the same after you enter the Core Formation Realm."
Yusa and Ao nodded. They were already expecting as much. It was then that Krune looked at Yusa and said:
"I can see you entered the 9th Stage of the Foundation Establishment. Even Ao, who had a higher cultivator than you in the past, fell behind now."
Yusa immediately showed a smile.
"That is to be expected! I said that I was going to participate in the Divine Path Sect Entrance Exam, so I will need to enter the Core Formation Realm in the next seven months before it starts. I focused a lot more on reinforcing my foundation and cultivating."
Ao also reported his progress.

"I did it for the Martial Gathering. My foundation indeed got a little unstable after this last breakthrough. But I'm already at the level that I was planning to be. So I won't cultivate anymore until the Divine Path Sect Entrance Exam starts, which will give me enough time to reinforce it. The person has to be an athlete, and I have to lead him or her through the exercise. There is no way that this could be used on a large scale. Dai Li thought about it and calmed himself down.

He was asked by the headmaster to help this group of seniors on their projects. He accepted it as a favor given by Percival since he somehow appreciated the magic structure he created. After thinking for a few moments, he deduced that the headmaster Percival or even instructor Elaine would be expecting him to provide assistance with the highly complex magic structure.

He looked at the pieces of metal. They could form an external framework of metallic muscles and bones that would protect the wearer and also enhance their physical prowess exponentially. It would be a huge breakthrough if he was able to help them solve the problem of operation time.

"Yes, I have an idea. But I have to take a look first on the current magic structure that's being used for this armor tech."
Wallace requested this to everyone as although he had something in mind, he had to learn the current limitation of the magic structure they made and decide if he had to create something from scratch or just to improve the structure.
The group did not have a problem showing their current magic structure as they already expected it. They then waited for Wallace to study it.
After checking the structure. He started giving his ideas to have an improvement in their current magic structure. This discussion lasted until seven in the evening before they decided to call it a day.
Everyone was not expecting that with just the addition of this 2nd-year student, they would be able to resolve the issue immediately. But they clearly realized during today's brainstorming that with this student joining into their group, they would have better chances of resolving the issue.

Wallace was now lying on his bed as he was thinking of his decision a while ago of developing a magic structure.
In outer space, humans had acquired the greatest power source they could ever find. They called it Aether, it was apparently a mysterious gas-like thing that only existed in space. The only problem for that was the difficulty of containing it.
Aside from that, there was a compact thermonuclear fusion reactor that was being used by a mech frame. This was called the Ion-Sting reactor.
As Wallace had checked, this world didn't even possess a normal reactor! So nothing to say of a compact one that mech frame possessed and ultra-compact reactors for latest generation mech frames.
Wallace still wasn't quite sure why there was no nuclear power plant in this world and could only put it aside from now.
"Hmm... Even iridium energy cells as a power source could probably not be used. There should still be something I could use as an alternative if I thoroughly check this world's elements but going for a different power source will deviate the people's current path of discovery."
Wallace muttered to himself.
"That would be too much if I started it. I should let them thoroughly explore or discover the magician's pathway instead. With all those considered. Creating a magic structure should be my best option since that is what the headmaster is expecting on me as well."
He settled his mind and planned to completely develop a revolutionary magic structure that would resolve these decades of a fruitless endeavor of providing longer operation time to this armor tech. He would create something that was based on a nuclear reactor.
Wallace smiled as he fell asleep while trying to think of a name he would use once he completed this structure. Wallace Reactor? Ravencroft Mana Reactor? Mana Fusion Reactor?

On the afternoon at the Forging Garden
Although he said that he would create a new magic structure, he still required a special material to infuse that magic structure.
Wallace planned to use this material as the central location of his mana-based reactor. Not only that, but he also planned to infuse a little special magic structure on each piece of metals as well to lessen the burden of electromagnetism being used on the armor tech as well.
"I've brought it here. What's your plan on asking me to bring this thing?"
Mei opened a box containing a metallic white stone the size of a fist and placed it on the round table.
"Thank you... I'll show you later."
Their group actually worked for a week more before they completed the task. It was next Friday night when they finished their project.
"At last, the structure you made has been infused to this armor tech."
"Yes, Mei. That took us more than a week. I couldn't have done it without all your efforts."
"I'm just hoping now that once it was tested, all will be working fine."
"That's alright Neo, even if we have issues with creating physical mana based equipment, with our papers that have a solid base, we will still achieve a perfect score."
It was true as they weren't really required to realize the development theory they submitted, it was already enough to have this revolutionary magic structure that Wallace created for future development.

He was quite curious to try now.

How long did a person have to be missing before they could be declared dead? Different countries had different regulations on the issue. Generally speaking, it was around three or five years, though there were some that had a shorter, or longer, time frame.
So, how long until a missing whale could be declared dead? It was hard to say.
The whale, known as "52 Hertz" because of its unique sound frequency band, had been discovered in 1989. That meant it was at least 30 years old.
Generally, the lifespan of whales was very long, much longer than 30 years, but too many things could happen in that timeframe.
People had not heard its sound since 2004, which was 15 years after it was first discovered.
There were still some countries in the world that were whaling out in the open sea. Whalers did not discern their target's voice before they fired off their harpoon; for them, whales were just whales––nothing more than a huge block of meat. To them, there was no difference between the two. With such thoughts in mind, people couldn't help but worry about 52 Hertz and its fate.
Zhang Zian had read its story before, but when he learned that it had not appeared for many years, he also leaned towards the belief that it was dead. It could've been through old age, or through a health issue, or even by natural causes, such as encountering a large group of killer whales. But of course, it could've also lost its life to whalers.
When Zian encountered the mysterious whale, he had thrown its story into the corner of his memory. He hadn't realized the possibility that it could've been 52 Hertz. After all, the ocean was too big, and there were many whales in the ocean… How could there have been such a coincidence? And how could he have thought that the giant whale was 52 Hertz?
People had only ever heard its sound; no one had ever seen its physical body before. They weren't even certain what kind of whale it was. The only way to determine the identity of 52 Hertz was to judge by its sound. Any other methods were unreliable.
Earlier, when Zhang Zian played the sound of the giant whale on the laptop, he found that its sound frequency band was very unique; it was between 45 and 50 Hz. Therefore, he hadn't associated the giant whale with 52 Hertz immediately and had mistakenly thought that he had recorded the sound of another whale nearby. Fortunately, he immediately negated that guess, and then recalled a related rumor: The sound frequency band of 52 Hertz when it was just discovered was 52 Hz, but it had slowly gone lower over time. Eventually, it fell between the 45 to 50 Hz range.
52 Hertz had often lingered on the west coast of the United States all the way up to Alaska, which was the northeastern Pacific Ocean. Had it ventured into the completely unfamiliar waters of the western Pacific Ocean, near northeast Asia, after many fruitless results of searching for its own kind?
The possibility existed… After all, it was a special whale.
Ever since it came to the western Pacific Ocean, scientists on the west coast of the United States had lost its trace.
On the long coastline of northeast Asia, there were many places that were desolated regions, and they did not have precise underwater listening systems. It was normal that its sound went undetected and unrecorded.
It could have been due to some kind of juncture… For example, it heard Sihwa's song and, although it might not have understand the song, it felt the loneliness in the it. It followed the song all the way to the sea just outside of Binhai City, then loitered around the surrounding areas.
The nearest route from the pet shop to the sea was the beach where Zhang Zian often went, and so it always appeared there and met Zhang Zian unexpectedly.
What was it waiting for? What was it expecting?
After thinking it through, Zhang Zian was immediately thrown into a whirlpool of chaos thanks to Sihwa's crying. He didn't even have the time to make a plan for his new discovery…
Sihwa, Fina, Old Time Tea, and Pi were all engrossed in his story as if, with Zhang Zian's storytelling, they were there together with the loneliest whale as it traveled through the vast Pacific Ocean. They witnessed countless magnificent scenes, witnessed countless moments on the survival of the fittest, and witnessed the numerous times it called out to try and reach its own kind, only to be left with no response.
It was swallowed up by the bottomless loneliness as if it had been abandoned by the whole world… But it was not disheartened.
Sihwa in particular felt the deepest connection to it. She was as unique as 52 Hertz. They were the only ones of their own kind in the world. Sihwa silently shed tears again. She had already lost count of the tears she had shed that day, but now it wasn't for herself. Instead, she cried over the fate of 52 Hertz––for its 30 years of tireless searching and for its courage in crossing the oceans. No one could imagine how it had spent 30 years alone.
Old Time Tea sighed and said, "As the saying goes, 'Thirty years of achievements are but dust to earth, eight thousand miles under the clouds and moons…' Accompanied only by the clouds and moon, who could know about the pain and difficulties in its journey so far?"
Even Fina, who was always harshly blunt, nodded with approval.
"That…" Sihwa looked up as shimmering tears swirled around her eyes. She spoke through her tears, "Is there anything we can do for it?"
Zhang Zian said, "Some people have speculated that 52 Hertz may be a descendant of a cross between a blue whale and fin whale. After witnessing it personally, I think that this speculation makes sense. Its biggest wish is to find another whale of a similar kind, but this is very difficult. Even if there's another whale that's also a mixed breed, it may not be able to use the frequency band of 45 to 50 Hz."
There was nothing complicated in the courtship and mating for whales. As long as their size was relatively close, even whales of different types could spark a flame of passion.
Rumors about the hybridization between different types of whales had been around for a long time, but due to the vastness and depth of the sea, confirmed cases were extremely rare to find.
There was an example on the Discovery Channel, where researchers had made their way to Japan and bought whale meat from the Japanese market. The idea was to study the DNA of the whale meat to trace its source. The results of the DNA had indicated that it was a mixed breed from a blue whale and fin whale.
It was such a pity that a rare, mixed breed whale was served up on the dining table of a Japanese family.
However, aside from their sizes being similar, another reason why blue whales and fin whales were able to mate and give birth was because their sound frequency bands were around 20 Hz, so they could find and communicate with each other.
Whales that could produce sounds around 45 to 50 Hz existed too, but the size of those whales was much different than 52 Hertz's… To insist on having them mate, the image was just too beautiful to imagine.
Zhang Zian continued, "It's almost impossible for 52 Hertz to find another of its kind, and there's nothing we can do to help it find one… But this doesn't mean that we can't do anything. Although we can't help it find one of its kind, we can help restore a sense of hope in it. If you want to help it, there's only one solution."
"What solution?" Sihwa asked.
Zhang Zian replied immediately, "You can learn its song, and then tell it with the same sound frequency band to not be afraid. It'sß not alone."

Piper Xu had spent so long staring at her watch until it was time to meet the bosses. It was ten in the morning when, with her head up and shoulders back, she glided elegantly into one of the mansion's room, a confidence on her lips along with a fresh coat of red lipsticks. When she entered the room together with Mr. Halsey and few of her chosen staff, she aimed directly on seeing the lady boss that everybody was fussing about but there were no signs of her. But not more than a dozen strides across the room; she spotted a fine looking boy that outshined everyone in the room. Everything about him, his body language, his expression and aura told her that he was no ordinary.  

 Mr. Halsey stopped in front of the boy to give his greetings and when he did, the boy looked up, his eyes not quite focused. He was cradling a cup of tea and on the table in front of him displayed were a couple of documents that he had probably dug in few minutes earlier. When the boy's eyes fell on the new comers, he smiled, this time using the expression reserved for interesting strangers whom one is expecting but have never met before.

 Piper Xu shivered when she realized who he was—his hazel devilish eyes say it all. Everyone in this country knew there was only one prominent family who had that kind of eyes, the Lagdameo's for sure. Although she had not met this boy before, she knew then that he was the famous Lagdameo heir for there was only one Lagdameo boy in this generation and certainly it was him. No doubt at all.

 "Young master this is Dr. Halsey, the Senior Manager of our operations. Together with him is the current in charge of the operations Piper Xu and her team. She was the one who discovered the cure" Manager Song started.

 "Nice meeting you Young Master, we were not really expecting your visit but we are truly honoured" Mr. Halsey greeted.

 "I'm here in behalf of your boss" Darryl replied in a tone that is warm and confident. "Please take your seats" he added a little later.

 As soon as everybody settled in their seats comfortably, Manager Song started discussing the preliminaries of their current meeting. Piper Xu didn't have a gasp of all of those things because she was looking at the boy every now and then. Who would have thought her luck will sprint out to this extent? 

        She came here expecting only the lady boss whom she had never met before and although she knew that the lady boss was no ordinary person, the Lagdameo heir was far too different from any one else. For who can compare to the grandiose of Darryl Lemmeul Lagdameo? And the fact that she will appear a hero in front of him for her great contribution to their success with the horses was probably one of her greatest achievement. To be noticed by him was already one hell of luck. What more is the fact that he will probably adore her expertise? 

 "Dr. Piper is doing very well as of this time at the east barn and although we don't have results yet for the horses in the west barn, I'm sure everything will work out just fine" Mr. Halsey mentioned which opened an opportunity for Piper Xu to speak.

 " Yes definitely. I had made sure I have the right staff to assist me on the west barn" She said with pride.  "When Mr. Halsey gave me the honour of leading the team, I had— " She was about to lay down all she had done to come up with a great team the last few days when Darryl cut her off suddenly.

 "Now, tell me Dr. Piper, how did you treat the horses?" Without looking at Piper Xu, Darryl managed to ask her. His eyes were digging into a piece of paper that a staff just handed to him.

 She held a deep breath of confidence before answering "Well, it was easy though. I was very focused of their hygiene. This Staw disease as I figure out is just a hygiene virus so I was being particular of maintaining the horses' hygiene and it work out. I also made—"

 "Hygiene virus?" Farmer Su who was also in the room asked. "Young master haven't the stable masters follow a certain standard in maintaining the horses? I don't think this is all because of the hygiene"

 "Well, it worked out fine for me" Piper reasoned out. Who is this old man who is trying to mess up with her? From the way he looked, he seemed not to fit the people in this room. He looked like an old farmer whose ideas was certainly not welcome. Who allowed this person inside anyway? "Perhaps the standard of hygiene that you just mentioned is just too shallow to the one that I religiously follow" She added.

 " True. I know Piper Xu long time enough that I can guarantee she has was very strict with hygiene" Dr. Halsey supported Piper Xu's statements.

 "Looks obvious in the eyes" Manager Song commented unintentionally looking at Piper Xu from head to foot. Although he had doubts about the words of Dr. Piper Xu, the miraculous healing of the horses in the east barn was undeniably her accomplishment. "Just one look at Dr. Piper and one could tell" He added in a sort of a joke to lighten up the mood a bit.

 Piper smiled after few seconds of dismay about the farmer's comment. There was silence in the place and she could see how the Lagdameo heir raised his eyes to meet hers. Her veins started to tighten as if she was about to melt under those indecipherable inspecting  eyes. She wondered what he was thinking and whether she was expected to say anything else in the current situation.

 "Tell me Dr.Xu, was there something you are not telling me?" Darryl's last words came without gleam of recognition for her proclaimed achievement.

"Boom! " once again the sound of Rachel's broom hitting the lower bunk woke me from my slumber everything looked so bright like the room was made of glass... WAIT! Something is not right, am missing something ; something important and like every good dream it came to an end. I felt dizzy and closed my eyes, opening them again I saw leaves hmm! Leaves "why the f**k am I seeing leaves inside my room, madam Rekel is going to kill us all I can almost feel the sting of her metal wipe the pain.... Ah my back o bloody hell what happened to my back it feels like it's been sucked in boiling water for ages"
  And them it all came back the activities of last night the sting of the earth wipe, the mumbling sound  Jack made as he suffocated from the ice, Clinton falling into the ice spike; reflexively I turned around to see if he was still there and to my utmost disdain he was there eyes wide open staring straight at me with the same shock it bore the night before. I threw up the remaining contents of my stomach feeling as if I was drowning in my own saliva. "I killed him! o by the gods! I kill a man, they are gonna come for me, I killed a human being!! What have I done!!" my thoughts were chaotic and I was breathing heavily.
    But some how I got a grip of my self I ran from the river bank with my legs feeling like they were sacks of grain, getting to the orphanage I slipped in through the back door and ran to my room. Luckily when I got inside the girls were no were to be found I quickly pulled off my clothes giving a little wince from my injury caused by Rekel. The bath water was cold courtesy of the winter breeze but I needed to get ride of this feeling the blood I felt like I could scrub the events of last night away.
    It was only after I had joined everyone at the temple of the moon goddess that I felt a little better. The feel of the wooden pews on my body felt comfortable, this is what I was used to, the sound of the choir's song brought my soul a temporary relief like it was telling me that I have been forgiven for my sins.

  THREE DAYS LATER.
     "Cough" "cough" " Dear children my name is Duchess Maria de Lacherte` and I am here to talk to you about your awakening, I know you are all very anxious to begin but let me once again remind you why we are here. Once a child is 15 years old he or she is required to undertake the awakening ceremony in order for said child to know what type of magic he or she may possess and how much mana they have, this is done so that you may know what roles or jobs you are most suited for in order to help you live a prosperous life and contribute as a reasonable citizen of Erandel.
   Also there are some of you here who have types of magic like healing magic, or soul magic who are in high demand by very important people this awakening will very well change your life. According to the king's decree those of you with rare magic or extraordinary potential will be adopted by noble families to train you and enable you to reach your full potential ". And that is the second reason we all are gathered here, squeezing each other even though we all are still going to under go the awakening...eventually. I could barely see the Duchess with hundreds of better fed 15 year Olds towering in front of me, I could feel my inferiority complex raring it's ugly head. "why are all of them so damn tall"
   It has been 3 days since the events of that night and although I had scrubbed the entire orphanage spotless as punishment for my crimes/actions I was still bursting with excitement for today although for a different reason. Today we would all be considered as adults after our awakening, " ha, I can finally leave that God forsaken orphanage"
    " The process is simple you just have to place your hand on the blue crystal and the clerk will announce your results" the Duchess voice signaled the beginning of the exercise. The first person to go through the awakening was a short boy with jet black hair wearing farmers clothes, he placed his hands on the crystal and its bone brightly for a minute then the announcer shouted out his results. 
   " Jack Williams MAGIC AFFINITY :FIRE 55%
     MANA WELL : 5,000"
 And the whole hall went quite, with his abilities he could join the kingdoms army and life a far much better life than his farmer life. And so it went on like that for a couple of us until it was Rachel's turn she stepped forward with dainty steps and placed her hand on the crystal and her results shocked us all.
   " RACHEL . MAGIC AFFINITY : light 79% 
                  MANA WELL : 20,000" 
   Everyone was dumbfounded, when Duchess Maria had spoken about some of us being healers we all thought that it was far too rare for any of us to experience such an event but here we were seeing it with their own eyes. A man dressed in a blue suit walked up to the clerk and whispered something to him and he announced that the Duchess had decided to adopt Rachel. After some time (must of which I spent trying to comprehend how wicked Rachel had been blessed so much) it was finally my turn and then a wave of anxiety came over me, "what if my affinity was terribly low, I already know my element but what if my mana well was very small" the average human had about 4500 mana units according to mistress Rekel but there have cases of rare individuals with less than tha.... "young lady for the last time would you pls put your hand on the crystal" the clerk's annoyed voice brought me out of my reverie and I immediately placed my hand on the crystal to avoid further embarrassment. Boom! A stream of blinding light flooded the hall I had to cover my eyes with my other hand to protect them. The light disappeared as quickly as it came and the clerk had a surprised expression on his face, a minute or two later he announced my results with a shaky voice

       MANA WELL: 500, 000
 " OK what just happened? There must be a mistake" I was shocked to say the least, this was not what I was expecting but as I was still "in my feelings" the clerk announced that the Asura clan had decided to adopt me and I was lead away by two servants dressed in pale blue uniforms. It all felt surreal to me and I couldn't comprehend what was going on it all felt so unreal but one thing was clear my life would never remain the same...

Plucked away from her element Slyvia is taken in by the head of the Asura clan. From an orphan to high nobility but nothing comes for free, this great gift must be paid for with hard work and practice.

 But remember not everything is the same when you are no longer at the out side. What will happen to the girl blessed by the water goddess Hecate only time will tell.

A week later. At the Blue Rose Veterinary hospital.
Eunwoo was getting ready in a hurry to leave the clinic while talking on the phone.
"Yes, I'm about to leave now."
"I'll stop by in the afternoon. We're moving out of the office from the Consencio."
It was Eunyoung on the phone.
"That's all right. I'll stay with her. See you then."
Eunwoo hung up the phone and put his jacket on.
When he finally grabbed the car keys and was ready to leave, Eunwoo saw Labong sitting right in front of the door like a rock.
Labong had stayed in the same spot since the day Sun had attacked.
"Labong…"
Eunwoo pet Labong's head in sympathy.
"Sun didn't abandon you. She's just sick right now."
"Ruff! Ruff!"
As if Labong had understood Eunwoo, he barked, looking up at him.
"I'll go see if she's doing okay, so wait here. Okay?" Eunwoo said, stroking Labong's head gently.
"Ruff, ruff! Ruff, ruff!"
However, Labong seemingly had something to say to Eunwoo because he kept barking at him. Eunwoo looked at Labong for a moment and started speaking.
"... I know. She'll be fine because she's much stronger than she lets on."
Eunwoo spoke to Labong gently like he was trying to calm Labong down.
"I'll be back soon."
With a firm expression, Eunwoo slowly stood up from the seat and left the clinic.
Left alone in the clinic, Labong sat quietly, watching Eunwoo moving away.

In the hallway out of the patient room.
Through the small window on the door, people saw Gyeonhui, who was holding the unconscious Sun's hand tightly.
A few nurses talked in whispers, looking into the room through the door. A nurse came to them and asked about Gyeonhui out of curiosity.
"What's going on here?"
"You know that big company, Concensio? He's the CEO of the company. He's been doing that here for a week."
"For a week?"
One of the nurses nodded.
"He just changes his clothes and just sits there. He does nothing except look at her even in the middle of the night."
"But isn't the patient in a critical condition? I've heard she's the victim of a kidnapping."
"Right. It wouldn't matter how rich or handsome my boyfriend was if my body were screwed all up like that. I can't even imagine. No."
The nurse shook her head vigorously as if she didn't even want to imagine it.
"Shh!"
One of the nurses gestured while pointing to someone with her eyes.
Ojae, who was wearing a suit, was coming to the room in the distance.
As soon as the nurses saw him, they immediately scattered to their posts as if they had said nothing.
With a serious face, Ojae watched them scattering. He didn't hear exactly what they were talking about, but he was able to guess what that would have been.
'Knock, knock.'
When Ojae knocked on the door, he went into the room.
"I'm here."
Although Ojae said that, Gyeonhui, who was holding Sun's hand, didn't say anything.
"How's she doing?"
Gyeonhui still didn't answer either.
"I'll join the board meeting today on behalf of you."
"... Okay."
"It'll be... tough."
"Let me know when the final decision is made. I'll need to remove my stuff from the office."
Ojae nodded with a serious expression.
'Bang.'
As Gyeonhui heard the door closing, he quietly moved his gaze to Sun again.
"Please… open your eyes… just once... please…"
His desperate, weak voice laid down in the room.

In the board meeting.
"I declare that the proposal for the dismissal of Mr. Woo has passed."
The shareholders did not respond to the expected results.
After confirming the results, the stockholders gave a silent greeting to Mrs. Shin and quietly got up and left the meeting room.
"Hah..."
Although the results came out, Mrs. Shin's expression wasn't bright at all.
She frowned while looking at the empty seat where Gyeonhui was supposed to be. His assistant Kwon was taking the papers for him.
"He's been there for a week?" Mrs. Shin asked Ojae, referring to the hospital where Sun was admitted.
"Yes, Ma'am," Ojae answered quickly.
"And now?"
"He's heading to the office to clear up."
Mrs. Shin paused for a moment and said, "Get him right away. Force him to get here if he doesn't listen."
"Yes, Ma'am."
Her assistant bowed his head robotically and led a few guards out of the conference room.
She glanced at Ojae, who was organizing the papers across the conference table.
When Ojae met Mrs. Shin's eyes, he quickly greeted her with a hard look. 
Mrs. Shin started speaking. "Shall I see you for a minute?"

In the Vice President Shin's office.
On a large TV on the wall of the office, the news of the kidnapping of the third generation son of a rich family resounded.
"The suspect who kidnapped the CEO of one of Korea's biggest companies was arrested."
Hearing the anchor's briefing from the TV, Ojae watched Woochang and Sarah getting out of the van in handcuffs.
They put masks with hats on, but Kwon could see the faces of the two of them with one glance.
Mrs. Shin turned her attention to Ojae while turning off the TV.
"Do you think I hired you next to him for this?"
"... I'm sorry." The frozen Ojae bowed his head without even making excuses.
"I'm tired of hearing that."
Kwon's eyes were shaken after hearing her cold words.
"Come in."
Then, the door was opened, and a young man in a suit entered.
"Greet each other."
Ojae was forced to bow his head to the new man, but she didn't explain who he was, so Ojae looked at her in wonder.
"He's the new assistant who will assist the new representative from today."
She spoke with a smile, but Kwon's face was darker.
It was no different from a dismissal notice.
"Don't be sorry over your discharge because I've got a position for you... Now, get out."
"... Okay…"
Kwon reluctantly replied and left the Vice President's office.
When Gyeonhui was dismissed, Ojae also lost his job as punishment for the trouble.
Soon, Ojae hit his own cheeks several times like he was trying to get his mind together.
"I should stay strong. Gyeonhui's gone through a lot harder."
Ojae took a deep breath and tried to walk intentionally with confidence.

In the hallway in front of a patient room.
"Okay. Well done."
Holding the phone, Gyeonhui answered like he was already expecting the result.
He had failed to merge with DNBM, and he was also involved in the kidnapping incident, so his dismissal was something obvious.
Mrs. Shin would have stayed calm over Gyeonhui, who didn't do what he was supposed to do for the company's success.

A man who feels the pain of his lover after a blood transfusion :

The man (GyunHee), with a voice colder than the breath of winter, speaks to the woman(Sunny).
"Wait until I contact you again."
But his car slips upon the wet road not long afterwards and crashes
"Please save him! Please!!"
Sunny shouts desperately for her boyfriend's life as she arrives at the hospital.
"What is your blood type?" The doctor asks.
"...Pardon?"
He was in dire need for a blood transfusion, it was a common question but she could not answer.
After giving her blood to save her man, she decides their relationship wasn't one of love and decides to leave him.
And as GyunHee wakes up a few days later...
He decides to chase after Sunny..
