Lance stepped out of the examination room and into the wide hallway, heading towards the library when Yittek's voice stopped him.

"Perhaps he is in the Equilix." 

Lance spun on his heel, facing the Razalek with one brow raised. "The Equilix?"

Yittek nodded. "It's the outcome of many years work. My attempt to blend all three species, if you will."

After a quiet agreement, a portal swirled into existence in front of Lance. With a quiet thanks, Lance stepped through, finding himself in front of a large, transparent globelike structure. Strips of light circled it, each one holding hundreds of keys. Acting on instinct, Lance took one, suddenly feeling himself become weightless. It was like he was being teleported, but his surroundings didn't change. He got the urge to step forward, and did so, suddenly finding himself in a dark landscape. Blue, transparent tiles shaped in a circle spread out before him, and dozens of images floated about. 

So this is the Equilix.

He stepped forward, looking at the floating images as they passed by. Spiro anatomy, Razalek ears with a few piercings, the beasts Spiros were born as. 

Lance picked up this last image; a repeating, moving image of the Spiro snapping its jaws at the camera.

"It's actually downloaded from memory."

Lance looked up, seeing Zidane sitting against the dome's invisible wall, rubbing a knuckle into a closed eye. 

Lance turned back, watching the jaws snap again, just out of the recorder's reach. "So this is someone's memory?"

"Yeah."

He nodded, hand slipping back into the pocket of his hoodie. Curiosity began to creep up.

"So how do you search for something?"

"Just think 'search' and whatever you wanna search." Zidane grinned. "If that makes sense."

"Perfectly." Lance nodded. 

He waited for a few moments, a thought coming to him. An image of an acoustic guitar rose out of the floor, and just the sight moved Lance into a state of pain.

I was supposed to go back and pick it up, the morning I was kidnapped...

He swallowed down the longing to go back, reaching out and holding the image, swiping a finger across the screen. 

"Surprised it got something so human."

Zidane nodded, taking an image from up high and bringing it in front of himself. Some running photo of Spiro evolution, from the beast to the tailed-man.

"I've hooked up parts of the Internet, so you can search for a lot of human stuff, too."

Lance stood, staring and hesitating before searching his band, Carry the Creation. A YouTube channel appeared, with it all their old videos.

"They... Kept everything?"

Lance quickly scrolled down, noting how the channel hadn't been active in over two-and-a-half months. 

Zidane stared at the image, inverted from his angle. "Whoever erased their memory might have erased the memory of the band, too," he said quietly.

Lance nodded, hand dropping. Raising up to push the image back into the floor. He walked forward, searching Spiro cells how to get out as he sat against the wall and waited. 

No results came. 

Zidane gave a light grin. "First thing I searched for." 

"Damn." Lance laughed a little bit. "I thought that would actually work, too."

"Nah, it's never that easy."

"Definitely..."

Lance looked over, seeing a video of a smiling Spiro man, and gave a reverse-nod to it. "What're you researching?"

"Different medicines for you," Zidane replied. He gently pushed down one image, drawing forth an article written in a different language. 

"Anything I can help with?"

Zidane nodded, and once again, Lance felt an entire language become downloaded into his brain. Fourth one so far. 

He blinked, one hand rising to his head and trying to rid the light throb that had started up. After a few moments, the pain subsided, leaving Lance to stare at the emptiness around him. Spaces that should be filled with images and writing. 

He searched Spiro cells how to deactivate. Nothing. 

He searched How to get my life back. Articles on depression.

He searched Why is this thing so stupid. Random clips and articles greeted him. 

Zidane grinned, bowing forward as light laughter came from him. Lance grinned as well.

"What? These are legitimate questions."

"You kill me sometimes, Lance," Zidane said. 

Lance laughed as well. He turned his focus back to the results, continuing to search.

None of these commotions caused Key to lose sight of his target. Once he and a group of nine other people stood before one of the supervisors, the rules were once again explained in quick detail.

Being dismissed, Key took a closer look at the claw markings. There were four slashes grooved into the stone tablet. Each slash was jagged in shape as if the slash wasn't clean and smooth.

Either the stone tablet was too hard, or the attack wasn't sharp.

Hmm...

That simple? Why did so many people fail?

Before the others could get a clear examination of the markings, Key already started making his way to the center of the stage platform.

If it were before today, he wouldn't say he had full confidence in comprehending the markings. Now however, wasn't it too easy?

Eyes of disbelief circled around the town square. What was that youth trying to do? Was he trying to say he already figured out how to replicate the technique on the stone tablet? Who could accept that?

Their thoughts were only natural. Key hadn't spent more than five minutes before he was already preparing to test his insights out. Even Ethia who was among the crowd of owners was starting to doubt his results.

The reason for her earlier confidence in Key was because she believed in her own instincts. Key was something extraordinary is what it would tell her.

He was the first person she ever saw jump levels and kill higher ranked creatures. If it was just a rank, it was still within understanding means. But there was a gulf between being titled and title-less. And now, he was once again going beyond her expectations.

How could he really come from the savage settlements in Green Grass Field? He was too abnormal.

I say we go with the original price of one hundred so everyone can be satisfied." Trump said every word with a smile. He was truly enjoying himself.

"If the Fair Tigress is lacking in funds or still unwilling, I could speak on your behalf to lower the price some. But the impression I got from the Fair Tigress, was a woman from an affluential family. I'm sure this is only pocket change to you. Your tamed speck might even possess this little bit."

When hearing the words of the two, the crowd quickly grew heated. If she had the money to pay up, why shouldn't she increase their betting price? It was her own rule in the beginning anyways.

Ethia grew angry, to the point that she had thoughts of forgoing the whole thing and killing the two annoyances on the spot. Did she fear the crowd? At her level, there was no need too.

Taking a deep breath, she looked hard at Key on the stage. Since he had the confidence, she would also be confident in him. "Fine! Don't come crying to me when you all lose your money. Realizing he didn't have to wait, the man left. "Continue."

Despite the actions and words on the outside, Key didn't lose concentration as he forged the ambition force around his fingernails. With more and more ambition force, the length grew to be fifteen centimeters long.

The points were razor sharp like knives with a curve to its shape. Following this, the ambition force solidified into a gold color as Key took an attack stance.

Whoosh!

An image appeared behind his back as if an emperor was overlooking everyone. "What! Impossible! The technique can't be comprehended to this extent!" The old man in black robes was overwhelmed at the sight.

In the darkness, an unimaginably huge vivid drawing of earth, ocean, mountains, and rivers was suspending over their heads while drawing water from the sea's surface to form a water curtain that rose straight into the sky before absorbing the boundless seawater into it.
"Great God, y-you're the only religion in Wizard Li…" Such a god was too intimidating in the eyes of a mortal. The native chief answered while kneeling. The new power mentioned by him was none other than the spell-casting power Zhang Lisheng bestowed to his devout believers when he liberated his soul on Earth.
The power of the totem pole, which was previously uncontrollable and accumulated by the power of faith had been naturally bestowed the most devout hundreds of thousands of his believers. Before the young man returned to his place of faith and after he had completely achieved his transformation into a god and it had become completely controllable now. After it was perfected naturally, it could be divided into a total of six levels.
For the first level, a high priest at this level could only superficially sense and manipulate the power of water, soil and the distorted evolution power. Family Outing first aired on June 15, 200X, and was immediately one of the top rated programs on Sunday Korean television. 

The original lineup is one of the most legendary main lineups in history!

Yoo Tae-suk is the main host or MC. 

He is also called the Grasshopper, and is one of the 'Dumb' brothers from the Dumb and Dumber pairing with Raesung from the Mega Boy-group Evolution and is also a part of the Nation Siblings with Hyo.

Taesuk is the most talkative of the bunch, and thanks to his quick wit for observational humor, excels at articulating emotions and situational context.

Lee Hyo i.e. the "female master" of the show and occasional MC. 

The 'Nation's Sexy Fairy'. A  Female Idol that in the 90's captures the hearts of the nation. And in the 2000s is still capturing the desiree of all teenage  boys. Contrary to her image she is fun and loving  often exhibiting willingness to open herself to humiliation, whether being teased (for tendencies like alcohol or facial bloating) and during physical games. 

Hyo describes her nonchalance as "cool like that." She is also called the 'mom' or 'madam'.

Yoo Nong-shin, the old man of the show he always needs the care and attention of the rest of the family members. 

He is viewed as the best at "making the seasoning" for cooking on the show as he often sneakingly incorporates MSG to all organic meals. 

He is often called sickly, old man, and Forty Brothers with Kim Gu-ro. Nongshin is usually seen as the least physically gifted and thus last chosen for physical competitions, but exists as a strong competitor for oral battles involving wit.

Kim Gu-ro is known as the Game Devil of the show for his strong physical performances. He is mentally sharp, often picking on Chumhee, acquiring the title Stepmother Kim for constantly tasking Chumhee with chores.

Kan Tae-sung'S role is far from his national-idol-Evolution image.  

The youngest of the family members assists Roo Tae-suk in gags and is seen as a younger brother to him. 

He's called the 'Dumber' brother with Yoo Jae-suk's Dumb and Dumber, as his IQ was revealed to be among the lowest in the family. 

Lee Chum-hee, the goofy actor, inhabits the image of Chumderella and Clumsy Chum-hee. Although  appearing to be a strong player, he is quickly shown to be naive and clumsy. 

And lastly, Park Se-jin a seemingly pleasant, demure ladylike actress, whose true colors are in fact the Sweet and Vicious or Sweet and Savage Miss Ye-jin through her no-nonsense and tenacious ways.

While there was some changes to the lineup, the O7 (Original 7) is what most people are familiar with.

The format of the show called for the "Family" to travel to different parts of South Korea, taking care of the house of an elderly family, who go on a vacation. The "Family" then accomplishes the tasks left for them by the homeowners.

Contrary to what most people would expect of a 'natural' variety show, it is still relatively scripted. 

I'm told before hand what I will be asked to do and if I'm okay with it.

The identities of the guests are however kept secret to all of the cast beside Tae-suk.

Waiting in my van as the staff gets ready, I find myself growing bored as I await my que to enter.

Today we are Chungcheong-do, its a very rural area up in the country side. It's especially cold this morning so I'm pretty covered up.

From afar I can hear the Guy cast exclaims of surprise, seems like there is a female guest today. A pretty one at that.

I never really watched Family outing that much during my past life so I really can't recall who were the guest at this time of the year.

"1,2,3 Start" A man  behind the camera crew signals for us to start heading in.

I can see Tae-suk and the other guys crowded around the female guest with Hyo and se-jin left isolated. 

This is a typical scene from the show but it's really different in person.

I enter into frame with not much fanfare.

Before Tae-suk excitedly say , "It's the Cf star!"

I bow and greet everyone, and then turn to camera "Hello, I'm Dylan park"

Not missing a beat Tae-suk retorts, "See! See how happy the female crew are now. You don't get like that when we show up to work."

This causes everyone to laugh and makes me a little embarrassed.

I make my way to stand at the end of the half circle but Tae-suk motions for me to come to the center.

He begins to introduce me and speaks about how this was sudden and came about relatively quickly.

This is when I notice that the girl guest for today is Yoo-ah! SNSD's Yoo-ah!

No wonder!

 Yoo-ah, a 20 year old singer and later turned actress under MS Entertainment. 

She is the ideal beauty of Korea. 

She is one of the MS Visuals that have raised the standards of Idols all across the entertainment field.

I've heard that she's even more stunning in real life before and seeing her in person makes me wholeheartedly believe. 

From her flawless glowing skin to her bright eyes and great smile. Call me biased , but it is rightfully so. 

Tae-suk picks up on my nervousness and decides to tease, "What is this? Some movie? Don't these two (referring to yoona and I) look like a drama couple"

Oh the famous 'love line', where a cast of  Korean variety show is pared up. has appeared.

Tae-suk presses on, "Dylan is any of the females here close to your ideal type?"

I nod, "Actually ... I don't have an ideal type"

"Aish! Don't lie" Tae-suk over dramatically plays "Just say it"

This causes the guys to sweep in, " Who who who?"

I laugh and show towards hyo " I was always a fan of Lee hyo-noona"

Raesung shouts, "That Ahjumma? Dylan you have bad taste"

'No I don't. I have eyes' I say internally as I look toward her.

Hyo is bare faced yet splendid, commanding if that's the word. 

Although she is a head shorter than the other men and even Yoo-ah, she is still imposing.

Ten years ago, when she started, she was an absolute doll. 

Her style has however changed, no longer a pale fair skinned beauty, she has a healthy tan, as a result of her working out, that gives her skin an olive grow, accented by her dark brown eyes, crescent shape lips. 

She is beautiful in the way a Succubus or Kitsune is .... seductively so.

While Raesung and Chumhee are celebrating the fact that there's one less competitor for Yoo-ah's attention.

Hyo gives Raesung a look which causes him to retreat for cover.

Tae-suk decides to pipe in "So Yoo-ah looks like you were rejected, how do you feel?"

She laughs and bows to me, "I will work harder!!!"

Tae-suk then asks Hyo, " Sis what do you think of him?"

She gives me a once over, "Not my type ..... his too good-looking"

Tae-suk waves his arms playfully, " This is a first. Who ever gets rejected for being handsome. What do you have to say about that Dylan?"

"Uhm.. Noona is such a good liar" I cheekily smile as I answer.

"What makes you say that? You don't think you are good looking. Be honest." Tae-suk questions

"Because.... I'm everyone's type" I strike a pose, causing the female crew to cheer.  "See, Noona must be lying" 

 "What is that! Dylan come here" The male cast show their displeasure, proceeding to 'mock' beat me up in annoyance as a result.

Dylan was an ordinary 18 year old with a particular taste for the older girls. What will happen when one day he finds himself in the past possessing a body no longer his own.

Dylan: "Where am I?"

"OMG i'm hot!?"

"Its time to .duh duh duh. Pick up noonas!"

In the underground base under the sanatorium, Wesker, who was originally sitting comfortably on the metal chair, finally showed irritation and anger in his voice.

"Military exercise? To give an excuse that could only trick children? Unspeakable!"
"Ten minutes…"
Under his shades, Wesker looked uncertain. After thinking for a few seconds, he raised his head and made a decision.
"Notify everyone that we will completely evacuate the place in ten minutes and then initiate the self-destruct sequence!" said Wesker coldly. After that, he stood up before turning around to leave.

Amidst the pouring rain, a large black shuttle fighter that looked like an F-117 was gradually lifted above ground through the exit of the underground base beneath the sanatorium.
After that, white and blue energy flames burst from the bottom of the black shuttle fighter as it slowly lifted into the air in the rain. After it reached an elevation of around 10 meters above the building, it started to accelerate, and before long, it had become just a bright dot in the sky above Roguetown.

Of course, this kind of humane weapon was being used to destroy evidence of an inhumane biological experiment, so perhaps it seemed like more of an insult. On the ground behind a hill in a forest outside Roguetown, a group of people whose HP was still reduced by at least half due to the shockwaves created by the explosion slowly stood up. As they looked at the sunken area that was at least a dozen meters deep, they could not help but feel a little bit fortunate.
After that came the sense of relief and joy that came when one completed missions!
Of course, for the NPCs—including three remaining guard soldiers, Harley, and the tourists that numbered less than 20—the scene before their eyes was, without a doubt, an ending that could hardly be accepted. The players who ultimately made it out were only Feng Luo, Sister Rui, Brother Ling, Sha Lang, and another Light Armor Warrior. A total of five. Their losses were definitely quite heavy.
"It's a good thing Locke is still alive. At least the city-building mission can be considered complete!" Apart from the potion, the other unique reward, the pistol, was even more satisfying for Feng Luo. This pistol, which was named "Tyrant," also had a violent and powerful outward appearance. Because… it was a retro-looking, large bronze revolver!


As an international mercenary, Feng Luo entered a technologically advanced parallel world during a mission.

After living several years in the new world, an online sci-fi game called War became popular across the entire Star Federation.

Desert Eagles, Barrett, AK-47, Apache, RPG... One after another, familiar gears awakened his memories of the past!

Terminator, Zerg, Resident Evil, the Force,... The missions that appeared after a system update made him even more suspicious and shocked! As such, Feng Luo entered War and became a sniper.

"You seem somewhat knowledgeable about the dungeons," Chris said in a calm tone, "but you don't have to worry. No matter how strong the boss is, it will still be an E-Rank boss unless the dungeon is interconnected with another dungeon."
Sometimes in very rare cases, the dungeons of different or same ranks would be interconnected. Two entrances but both leading inside the center of the same dungeon. Unless the dungeon was interconnected to the dungeon of higher rank than B, Chris was confident about taking the dungeon with the party. 
What Chris said calmed the others down.
Finally, after the walk of an hour and a half, they saw the light at the end of the cave.
"It seems to be the boss room. Prepare yourself!" Chris said as he raised his shield.
Everybody took out their arms. Oslo too took out his dagger which seemed as if it was about to break at any moment. The scratches in the dagger made it look ugly in comparison to the swords of others which were polished anew.
The boy seeing the dagger laughed and approached Oslo from the front.
"Your weapon is all beat up and it seems to be made up of black-horned rabbit. Seriously, are you trying to tickle boss to death?"
Oslo smiled and said,
"Yes!"
The boy was speechless. He wanted to make fun of him but when Oslo accepted it, he got disappointed. He pouted and walked to the front.
"You're no fun at all!"
Others in the group seemed to be disappointed as well. For their viewpoint, he just nobody, trying to mooch of easy money.
When they exited the cramped cave, a pond greeted them. But as before no monsters were there. Chris furrowed his brows as he stared at the pond. He knew what the pond was but his feeling of uncomfortable rose up.
Not everybody in the group knew what it was, so one of them asked,
"What is it, a leader?"
"It is the pond that would strengthen the body. The 'Pond of Evolution'". He said but didn't dare take another step since he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
" Pond of Evolution! " Everybody in the group was drooling gazing at the pool.
"Something is wrong," Oslo exclaimed, " Normally a pond of evolution is of great importance to the monsters, but it seems every monster abandoned the pond which means there is something of more importance in the dungeon than the pool which made them vacate the pond and protect another thing."
"I thought so too because it was being easier than stealing candy from a kid!" Chris said as he looked at every direction. Not only his eyes but his sense couldn't detect any monsters as well.
"The thing for which they abandoned the pond must be something of great value but,"
He again furrowed his brows, " There seems to be no other entrance leading to the place. Only the entrance from which we entered is here. So, we don't have any means to enter the place which they are trying to protect."
" The pond of evolution is the only spoil so let's jump in it." He said looking at everyone in the group.
After he said that everyone jumped in the pond in excitement but Oslo again tried to confirm,
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, since pond can't be taken outside the dungeon and once we leave the dungeon, the dungeon would most like disappear. So, might as well soak when we still have the chance." 
After he said that he too jumped in the pond. Oslo hesitated but still jumped in the pond.
When his whole body immersed in water he felt his whole body brimming with energy. The once lost abs were starting to show itself again but were only half showed when the water stopped working on him. The pond couldn't even strengthen his body till all abs showed itself.
"Was that it?" Oslo was half disappointed.
But at the party, Chris and the rest were the ones disappointed the most. The pond didn't strengthen its constitution a bit. It seemed it could only strengthen a body that was very weak but not the body of the adventurers above D-Rank. Except for some sellswords, everybody was disappointed. Even their control over magic wasn't affected in the least.
Upon the defeat of boss, the dungeon would disappear after everybody exited it but there were some dungeons which would disappear instantly upon the defeat of the boss and because of which, to date, thousands of adventurers were lost in Magic Land.
No one knew where they ended up and it was also one of the reasons Oslo didn't want his brother to become an adventurer. Because every dungeon was a potential risk he wanted his brother to be far away from such jobs.
When Chris was about to leave the pond, a head popped up above the water and said,
"There is something down there!"
Everybody was confused, Ben from Chris side asked,
"What did you find?"
The male aged man grinned and said,
"It seems to be the entrance. When I tried reaching the bottom of the pond, I found it. The pond has no bottom and upon swimming down, we'll reach the place. Maybe it is the place where all the monsters are and there may also be treasure raid leader talked about."
Upon hearing the word Treasure',  the heart of sellswords sank as it now all belonged to 'Thousand Lake' Guild and the worse part about it was they had to help them take it.
Oslo, on the other hand, didn't seem to care since he was going to be paid and also got the chance to soak himself in the pond. He was happy.
"Don't lie! How can the pond have no bottom?" One man spoke in disbelief.
"It is up to you whether you believe me or not but friend what I told you was the truth." The man said in a calm tone. He then dived down the pond.
Chris and the rest followed in greed. When they dived about five meters, a blurred image of the ground caught their eyes. When their body left the water, they fell three floors down in the ground.
Chris and the group slowly picked themselves up as the water dropped from their armors. Chris looked up and said,
"It really had no bottom."
Ben cast his lighting magic but the water remained calm and not a ripple formed in it.
"Yeah, what you say is true."
"Does anybody have wings?" Chris asked looking at the group.
They shook their head and Chris didn't ask again.
Killing a monster was very tough but obtaining their skills and parts was seldom seen.
Only one in a millionth had the chance of obtaining its parts and one in ten thousand had the chance to obtain the runestones in which the skill of monster was stored.
Anna Raygal was called a prodigy in the Magic Land just because of obtaining a skill of a tiger beast to control the fire efficiently.
Chris then watched the cave in front of him. The cave was pitch dark and at the entrance one stick was burning in the wall.
"The only thing we can hope for is by exiting through this cave." He said in a calm tone.
Even if it didn't lead them to exit he could escape from here using the scroll the Guild gave him to escape.
Ben nodded in agreement when the ground started shaking violently.
Chris furrowed his brows and immediately lifted up his sword and shield.
One. Two. Three... Thirty.
"Everyone!" He shouted looking at the entrance, "Prepare yourself for the battle. A mob of monsters is coming in our direction."
