            Enron became a household name in 2001, and possibly in most homes in most nations worldwide. Enron became one of the 10 biggest corporations in the USA on December 2nd, 2001. In the ensuing months, more and more facts arose regarding corporate governance's flaws and corrupt behaviour. Countries around the world, however have been unsettled and rattled by the shock of this case and are now questioning their own micro-detailed corporate governance structures.
            They do so by searching at vulnerabilities and potential that are equivalent to Enrons. Like a deadly plague, Enronitis has spread across the world, infecting every business and every shareholding institution. Moreover, it has had a big influence on troubling even the smallest owners and annoying the capital markets.
            Enron was an energy corporation based in Huston that was founded by Kenneth Lay, a genius entrepreneur. A merger between two American gas pipeline firms formed the corporation in 1985. The firm has been converted from a comparatively small enterprise engaged in gas pipelines and oil and gas production into the world's largest commodity trading company over a period of 16 years. Enron, the electricity deregulation pioneer that expanded into one of the 10 biggest corporations in the world, crashed yesterday. After a competitor pulled out of an agreement to purchase Enron, and after several major trade partners started doing business with the firm, this failure happened.
            Houston-based Enron was generally expected to seek immunity from bankruptcy. As of September 30, with $62 billion in cash, it will be the largest American enterprise ever to go bankrupt. This business, therefore, dwarfs the 1987 Texaco filing. Late in the day, Jeff McMahon, Chief Financial Officer of Enron, confirmed that the firm was also dreaming about restructuring and exploring other alternatives with banks.
            The role of the board of directors of a corporation is to manage corporate management in order to protect shareholders' rights. Enron's board, however, waived conflict of interest rules in 1999 to allow Chief Financial Officer Andrew Fastow to form private relationships to do business with the company. Such relationships seem to have hidden loans and obligations that may have had a huge effect on the recorded earnings of Enron. Subsequently, the fall of Enron raises the issue of how to improve the capacity of directors and the desire of senior administrators to criticise dubious dealings.
            Owing to Enron's ruins, many corporate compliance concerns have arisen. An apparent concern is unfettered control in the possession of the chief executive, and it is one that marked the management of Enron. Inside the Enron company, there were also several illustrations of illegal behaviour that continued to come to light even after its collapse. In May 2002, for example, it became apparent from records published by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission that the energy traders of Enron developed and used tactics or tricks to exploit the markets where power was purchased by California.
            Overall, in almost every way, corporate governance at Enron was weak. The board of directors is thus comprised of a variety of persons with a lack of good character. They are also often likely to participate in fraudulent activities, too. This was the true source of the corporate governance failure of the company.
            There has been a proliferation of books about Enron's collapse, attempting to understand why circumstances unfolded as they did. As we have seen, the intense response of the USA and the UK to the fall of Enron and corporate governance has been moved to the centre stage. This happens as a consequence of the flaws at the root of the corporate governance structure of Enron. Enron's long-term consequences will potentially be a safer and more responsible business climate across the world. In addition, constant updating of corporate governance controls and balances is important in order to prevent the potential use of such Enrons.
            Clearly, testing and balancing corporate governance will only help to recognise, not remedy, corrupt activities. The subjective essence of deception is a complicating element in questions of fraud and ethical breakdown. In addition, in human actions, there is a grey field surrounding what is right or wrong, positive or evil. When talking about the Enron trial, several statements made by Sheldon Zenner, an American white-collar criminal and civil lawyer, helped to highlight this issue.
            The bureaucratic structure under which a corporation represents and meets the needs of its owners is corporate governance. This covers everything from the boards of the corporation to employee pay plans to bankruptcy rules. 
            The system of monitors and balances to facilitate corporate governance needs to operate efficiently. Enron thus illustrates the critical roles of non-executive directors, auditing and transparency, as well as management ethics. Mechanisms in corporate governance by top management do not deter illegal behaviour. They should however, at least serve as a way for top management to spot such behaviour until it is too late. It does not have a solution when an apple is rotten. Nevertheless, before the fungus progresses and infects the entire barrel, the rotting apple should be discarded. An overview of the Enron case therefore reveals that the character of both the US and corporate governance structures are so distinct. In addition, they may be vulnerable to flaws in abuse and corporate governance that are similar in nature. This is what efficient corporate governance truly is all about. This research therefore attempts to examine the different checks and balances and processes by which effective corporate governance ensures efficient maximisation of market and social welfare.

That scandal was so big since the value of Enron had exceeded $60 billion, but in a single moment, that company had become worthless and became bankrupt because their deceit was uncovered.
Haru had found a similar company in this country which had done the same thing as Enron and the name of that company was Olympus Corporation.
Olympus Corporation is a Japanese manufacturer of optics and reprography products. Olympus was established on 12 October 1919, initially specializing in microscopes and thermometers. It holds roughly 70-percent shares in the global endoscope market.
Haru was interested in this company and wanted to own it, but well, the price was quite steep for him at the moment. 
However, he had a chance to buy this company while also profiting a lot of money which was quite a big deal. He had told Ritsu, Seri, and Ayase about this plan which startled the three of them since if what Haru had them told was true then it would become one the biggest scandals in this country.
After becoming a mogul, Haru had made a plan to buy various companies to enhance his influence in this world. 
Haru had become a mogul and owned various media companies such as television, radio, newspaper, magazine, game, etc; and this time he was going to reach out his hands toward pharmaceutical industry, energy industry, clothing, optics, game console, etc (but let's discuss that matter later).
Haru had always wanted to buy Nentendo after he had created Pokemon. 
Nentendo's performance had been quite sluggish in recent years, and they didn't have a new game which could attract consumers to buy their game consoles. Their stock price had been falling and he thought about buying that company since he believed after he bought it the performance of Nentendo would lead everyone to gawk.
Well, enough of that, since Kirari seemed to be interested in his game plan. He couldn't continue writing on his laptop since Kirari was sitting on his lap. 
There were only four people in the student council room: Haru, Kirari, Ririka, and Sayaka (Kirari's secretary), but Kirari didn't care much and sat on his lap. 
Sayaka sighed when she saw Kirari was flirting and acted very spoiledly with Haru which somehow made her jealous. She might have gotten used to it, watching them, flirting with each other, but she hoped that they could do it somewhere else and she also hoped that no one would enter this room since she didn't want the prestige of the president to be damaged since Kirari and Haru were doing a shameful act in this sacred room (Kirari is sitting on Haru's lap).
Ririka didn't care much since she often heard Kirari's moan when Haru came to the house. Even though she knew what they were doing, she couldn't do anything, or rather she was curious whether it was really good or not.  
Ririka stood next to Haru and also read the game plan curiously wondering what kind of game it was. 
"Haru, this game is very interesting," Kirari said while smiling brightly at Haru.

Haru couldn't be happy hearing that praise since he was sure that Kirari was interested in the bad ending of School Days.
"I'm happy that you like it."
Haru sighed, but then the door suddenly opened which startled them.

Haru, Kirari, and Sayaka looked toward the door and they saw the Beautification Council president, Sakura Miharutaki suddenly enter this room. 
Sakura has knee-length dark blue hair that is worn in a ponytail by a white ribbon with bangs parted in the middle, blue eyes and an expression that is almost always stern as she rarely smiles.
But that expression was broken and turned into blush when she saw Kirari who was sitting on Haru's lap. She quickly closed the door and pointed her finger at both of them. 
"Y, You, how can both of you do something so shameful in this room!" 
Sakura flushed in embarrassment and didn't believe what they had done in this room, but she also knew that she couldn't damage the image of student council and hurriedly closed the door.

Haru, Kirari, Ririka, and Sayaka were surprised since they didn't expect such a cute reaction from Sakura.
Kirari chuckled and looked at Sakura with a smile. "Miharutaki-senpai, both of us are engaged to each other. This is something normal to do between us."

Sakura's heart thumped and nodded, but then she quickly became depressed.
"What's wrong? Are you unhappy with your engagement?" Kirari asked curiously since she thought that it was interesting. 
It wasn't uncommon for someone to be unhappy with their engagement since Kirari was also the same before. In the past, she was almost engaged to a stranger who she had never seen and didn't care much. 
However, she met him and fell for him, but there was a hurdle between them since the gap between the two of them was very huge. 
Haru's status was quite low when compared to Kirari's status before so that was why it would be hard for her family to accept him, but she had decided to be with him since she loved him. She would be with him no matter what, however, she didn't expect him to become the richest man in this country in a year of time which made her happy and knew that her man was amazing.
This time, when Kirari saw Sakura who had gotten depressed because of the matter of engagement, she became curious and wondered whether Sakura was unhappy with her engagement.
"No, no, I'm happy with my engagement, but h, he's too cold with me." Sakura wasn't sure why she told them about this matter. It might be because she was jealous at how close Haru and Kirari were, and it might be because she wanted someone to hear her.
"If I'm not wrong Miharutaki-senpai should be engaged to Miboumi-senpai, right?" 
Sayaka didn't expect Miboumi to act cold to his fiancee, especially when she knew that Miboumi was very famous in this school and when she saw both Haru and Kirari, she thought that a lot of couples would act the same too, though, it seemed that wasn't the case. 
Miboumi's fame was quite high since he didn't discriminate against a normal student and the "housepet". He even helped the "housepet" which made his fame even bigger than Kirari in the eyes of "housepet".
But of course, Kirari's fame was bigger in the eyes of normal students.
Though, Sayaka didn't think that Miboumi could match against Kirari, especially since Kirari had a very powerful fiance on her side.
Sakura nodded and told them about her problem. She wanted to act as a lover with her fiance, but her fiance didn't even see her which made her sad. She also heard that her fiance was also starting to get closer to a new student in the first year which made her annoyed and hated that new student.
Hearing Sakura's complaint, Kirari nodded and somehow could feel empathetic toward Sakura's  feelings.
"So what should I do?" Sakura wanted to act like a lover, but her fiance was very cold to her.
"It's easy." Kirari smiled.
"Eh?"
Haru looked at Kirari and somehow didn't think that this girl had good advice for Miharutaki.
"What should I do?" Sakura asked with a hopeful expression.

     "so, what brings you back to me after all this time?" the words were spoken by a soft female voice.  She was a woman in modern earthen clothing.  Black basketball shorts, and a white tank top were all she wore other than a simple bra to cover her chest.  It was likely that she didn't care who saw her body, maybe she wore the clothing for comfort.  This was neither here nor there.  Nor was this wondering on her mind, she just wanted to know why this man.  A man who she knew so well had returned after so many years.  He had entered the throne room to a massive castle floating on a cloud over a foreign planet in an unmarked plane of existence.  He stood to be nearly six feet tall and wore a sleek black suit that had its shapes outlined in gold.  He was not a mortal, nor was he a human.  At least not anymore, he was made of metal.  One that had no true name, merely a purpose.  It served as a vessel, and only a select few could pierce its silver hue.  The man had no face, or any discernible features other than that of a male humanoid figure.  His hands were in his pants pockets as he examined the room.  Taking his time to remember this place before he answers the woman.  The room didn't look like what one might think an atypical throne room to.  It was closer to that of a billionaire's bedroom.  The walls were painted dark blue, and were made of stone.  Each brick identical in shape to the others down to the atomic level.  On the floor was a soft carpet made from a form of spider silk only found on this planet that shone in the light like a midnight sky.  Not a single part of the room was out of place, and as the man viewed the room he noticed that there were only a few things other than the basics needed for a room.  There was a black tinted window with no curtains towards the back of the room, which was about fifteen meters away.  Pushed up against this window, taking up the entire ten meter wide back wall was a bed made of a substance that mimicked a cloud.  The sheets were made from the same silk as the floor and the pillows made from the pseudo cloud.  Both were navy blue in color, and the woman took up a small section from the middle of the bed.  To her left was another woman, and one to her right.  They were all huddled together, cuddling one another as they watched a large television set that was suspended above the bed near the ceiling.  About nine meters high, it was displaying an animated film about a man in a yellow costume.  The scene that was showing was of this man killing a lion like beast in a single blow, splattering brain matter and entrails across the city block around them.  Of course this television was not the main interest to the man, he did enjoy the show but he was now focused on the three women lying in the center of the bed.  The woman in the middle, the one who spoke.  Was five feet nine inches tall and had smooth silver hair that when standing would fall to just below her shoulders.  It reflected sunlight as if it were made of metal, not brightly enough to hurt anyone's eyes.  Just enough to draw attention to her face, and curved body.  She was not fat, nor was she too thin.  Very close to the middle.  Her eyes were silver and cast frequent, almost anxious glances at the man who entered the room.  Who was now walking slowly, and silently toward the bed.  Still taking the time to examine the room, and the other women.  The woman to the silver haired female's left was in the form of a beast. Not wholly animal in form, more that of a fox, were it bred with a human.  Her fur was pearl white, and her eyes were as blue as the ocean.  Sparkling as if the stars themselves were embedded within her Iris'.  She didn't look at the man, she seemed as if she desperately wanted to, or feared to. She wore what looked to be leather made tribal clothing that only served to cover her breast and her privates.  The straps were black, contrasting her fur in a way that made her slim body hard to ignore, even if you were trying to avoid staring at her.  Stranger even to think that she wasn't a simple fleshbound beast.  She was looking at the woman to her right, on the other side of the silver haired female.  Who was also a half-breed fox, her fur was a dark color that was so near black it was easily mistakable.  But on close inspection one would see that her fur had a subtle purple hue.  Violet if you will, and her eyes were as dark as night, offering no color to be seen.  She too wore the black leather made straps that were nearly invisible to the naked eye.  Her clothing seemed to barely be holding to her body, as she was shorter than the other two women and her body had more size to it.  Still not fat, for lack of better terminology she was what many humans would call thick. Voluptuous if you will, or even lusty.  
         The man was now at the foot of the bed, about six meters from the women when he decided to finally speak.  the dark purple furred woman spoke before he had a chance to.  "you've got some nerve coming here after all this time Damian.  You didn't even bring me my favorite toy!" Damian chuckles and brings his right hand from the respective pocket, only to hold it out to his side palm up.  "oh shit I guess you're right, I did forget to bring the Nameless one didn't I? Or maybe I saved him, you seem to be uhh.. Craving something." he pauses for a moment to put his hand back into his pocket. "I can assure you violet, my dear, that he will soon return, you needn't worry about that.  He merely had some more building he wanted to finish before returning. Rather important work, even for him." Damian was calm, and seemingly happy to be in this room with these three women.  Though it wasn't easy to tell, the silver haired woman seemed to feel the same.  As did the white woman, and violet.  "well, are you going to come say hello to us? Or am I going to have to beg?" the silver haired woman jests.  "you know I don't like to beg." She continues, baiting Damian into coming to them.  He speaks smoothly as he begins to crawl onto the large bed.  "oh Miirii, I wouldn't keep you waiting any longer than I have to. Not my style." once closing the gap he leans over the women, eyeing them like he was having trouble choosing.  "Then what was it that kept you so long?" Miirii sneered as he ran out of time to choose. The doors to the room opened, and a group of four walked in.  carrying a nervous demeanor about them as they entered the strange place.  Currently unaware of what they just interrupted.  The three humanoid figures were young, no older than seventeen years old.  The fourth was a quadrupedal canine with no fur, and smooth, slippery skin.  "Christ alive, gotta love bad timing am I right Tisume?" Damian says to the white furred woman, who was now slumped nervously into the bed.  Nearly covering her face with a pillow.  All of the adults on the bed know who just entered the room, they also knew why the children were here.  So naturally, Damian nonchalantly turns to face the group, who was now making their way to the center of the room.  Still unaware of the man who was now sitting cross legged on a bed with three women behind him.  He addresses the group as they begin to put two and two together. "my my, look who decided to barge in, and at the worst time too.  I was about to  have some fun."  "at least its my kids walking in, and that they actually have better timing than i would." Damian thinks to himself as the group immediately got red faced upon figuring out what they did. one boy made the lip motions like he was working up the guts to speak up and apologize.  He wore a rifle strapped to his back, and donned rugged leather made clothes that had seen many days in the wild.  But by the time he built up the motivation to speak, the other male to his right spoke for him.  "We apologize Sir Damian, and Madams Tisume, Violet, and Miirii. But we came seeking guidance."  He was about the same height as Akron, he first boy.  But he wore much nicer clothes, and held a staff in his right hand that bore a cube on its head.  "at least one of them has enough decency to feel bad" violet whispers under her breath to Miirii.  Damian chuckles silently at the quiet comment before replying to Enron's request.  "I know why you're here, and I know what you want.  You want to stop Jerem from destroying the world.  Or something likE that.  That's your fault btdubs." Damian pauses, taking a moment to refocus his train of thought.  "sure I can give you guidance, however I must ask two things of you.  Simple customary things that everyone else goes through."  That was a lie.  Damian never accepted to help any of Zeralft's denizens in any way, he was not a benevolent being. Nor was he evil, Damian simply didn't care.  He continues speaking. "first you must tell me your story thus far, then.. you all must compete alone in a tournament I am hosting soon.  Those who survive will be granted one single wish."  This was not a lie, Damian always kept true to promises like this.  Even if they tended to take a while to be fulfilled.  "our story?" Enron says, unsure where to begin. "if you mean it i'll share everything.  But it's see rather boring so far if you ask me." Damian once again chuckles, before summoning a chair to sit in at the foot of the bed.  Silently flexing his power on the group.  "try me." He says as he leans forward resting his head on his hands, and his elbows on his knees. Enron Then begins to tell the Tale of Twin Souls thus far.

Power in its purest form is a mystery.  But, what defines pure?  One might say that pure is good, or just.  But those are simple misconceptions of a limited mind.  What becomes of a man who transcends reality? Or even god?  Would they still live by the moral constraints as other men?  Or would they play with reality and make their own moral?  The age old question.  To be or not to be? To exist or not to exist, to grow or to die?  When faced with death what would one do? Would you accept fate? Or grow past all limits to deny it?  When you ask what true power is you must first have the understanding that power is subjective.  And as opinions to each their own.  power is the same.  To some power is pure destructive energy.  To others power is the ability to speak, and gather a nation.  Neither answer is wrong, though neither answer is correct.  When asking what power is, would be like asking what good or evil is.  A paradoxical statement posed by an unanswerable question.  So I simply ask.  To be or not to be?  Would you be the crashing wave, or the sinking boat?  The viper, or the mouse? In the end nobody can answer the question for you.  Nor can you, you will only be able to act.  Because you probably wont have time to think. The true measure of a persons souls is what they do when they're cornered. Who you are is determined only through suffering. Only through sadness and pain will you find yourself. So let us watch someone else suffer. Maybe you can ignore your pain this way.
