"I need more eggs…" Dia blurts out, heading to the pantry.
They were already settled in the Dark Moon Pack's kitchen, ingredients out and being readied for the start of a new cake.
There was a spare fridge in the pantry, large and rarely probed unless the main one was to be restocked.
That was where Dia headed for the eggs, she threw open the door hastily,  impatient to get started on baking new cakes when a shocking sight greeted her.
Her scream carried to the kitchen, Heather immediately taking off in that direction, Renee hot on her tail.
"Darling, what…" Heather starts to inquire but doesn't get far.
"I'm an absolute dunce!!!" Dia was yelling, gesticulating wildly at the contents of the fridge.
"W-what…"
Dia was already intensely scolding herself, facepalming over and over again.
Renee had enough of not understanding, pushing past Heather who was trying to calm Dia down to check the fridge for herself.
"Dia? Why are the cakes here?" She asks blankly, staring into the open fridge, the contents of it had been pushed to both sides to give space for the matching sliver and gold cakes sitting side by side.
"What? The cakes are there?" Heather repeats, also stepping forward to check.
"Yes! I can't believe I forgot!" Dia exclaims.
"Wait, you put them there?" Renee asks for confirmation.
Dia looks sheepish at this, tucking her head in between her shoulders. "Maybe."
"Unbelievable!" Heather exclaims, done with her overreacting mate.
"Why?" Renee asks in confusion. "What was wrong with our Pack House?"
"The twins." Dia finally says with a heavy sigh. "They kept gobbling up all the smaller cakes I made, I was paranoid that they would do the same to this too."
"Leon and Ian?" Heather asks for confirmation because Dia couldn't be talking about who she was thinking about. "The Alpha's older brothers?"
"Yes, them." 
"For some insane reason they're obsessed with Dia's baking." Renee adds on. "But I don't think they would eat the wedding cakes…" she trails off at a knowing look from Dia. "Okay, yeah, they definitely would." Renee quickly corrects.
"It was smart of you to actually hide it then but how did you forget that you did?" Heather asks.
Dia just lets out a nervous chuckle. "Oops!"
Heather rolls her eyes fondly. "We better tell this to the others so we can get to finishing up the other preparations."

"What is it?" Dream demands darkly when Kieran and Erin comes to find him, even a usually stoic Kieran is looking pretty sheepish.
"Um, we found the ring box." Erin is the one to speak up.
"Thank fuck." Dream mutters under his breath, making his way from where he had been standing at the hallway to the living room, dipping a hand in a bowl of mints to take one of the horrendous anti-sweets he can't do without. 
"Well, where is it?" He asks impatiently when he gets to them and no one was handing him anything, he was already fully dressed, the wedding was in less than half an hour, there was no time to waste.
"Mints has it." Kieran says simply.
"What?" Dream blinks, upset with how severe the hairdo that Deidre had done for him was, it stretched the skin of his face in all the wrong ways but it was pretty so he would stand it.
"He thinks it's a toy." Erin winces.
Dream reaches up to rub his face in frustration but hold back when he remembers how much of his life was wasted on it.
"And you can't get it back?" He asks the most obvious question.
Identical nods get given to him which is no surprise, Mints was a sweetheart but if he didn't want to give you something, that was the end of it.
He starts angrily cursing under his breath even as he angrily made his way to the door, Kieran and Erin duitfully following him like he wasn't a five feet, two inches pregnant Omega.
The journey took them to the end of a hallway where Mints was sitting, carefully hoarding a bunch of toy bones, the ring box hidden amongst them.
He perks up when he catches familiar scents, spinning around to face them and wagging his tail in excitement.
"So, which is it?" Dream asks, gesturing vaguely at Mints bone pile.
"The one with the black bow." Erin is quick to say, stepping forward slightly which earns a loud growl from Mints, the dog going back to wagging his tail and and lolling his tongue happily when she steps back.
"That's what he does whenever we try to get it." Kieran explains, stepping forward as well, another ferocious snarl leaving the dog before he goes back to being all goofy and excited when Kieran steps back.
Dream sighs, wondering how he doesn't have white hairs yet.
He simply steps forward, Mints excitement increasing at this as he spins in a small circle and whips his tail around at an inhuman speed.
Dream pets the dog when he asks for it by nudging his owner's side, bending over with obvious difficulty to search for his ring box, mentally convincing himself to not murder his husband after their wedding.
He finally grabs the ring box and gets back up with a groan. "Fuck, I think I pulled a muscle." He complains under his breath, waddling back to his apartment.
Only to find his parents waiting for him, Dia and Heather looking bright eyed and excited.
He narrows his eyes at them. "What happened? Actually wait… I don't think I want to hear it."
"Why are you playing with Mints toy?" Heather is the first to notice the big bone held in his hand.
"It's my ring box, I'm marrying a child." Dream informs them with a straight face.
Chirping silence surrounds the women at this, DD snickering behind them.
"Is no one going to compliment my work?" She pouts, fishing for compliments from her mom's.
"You did so well, DD." Heather is the first to quickly comply. "You made Dream look stunning, Dale won't be able to keep his eyes off him…"
"I'd like to clarify that I always look stunning and if Dale is looking elsewhere, it better be because he's trying to get me food." Dream corrects.

"What the fuck did you do?" Virgil demands his eyes dark, the only reason Dale doesn't have a black eye yet is because he's still carrying me. 

I intervene quickly before Virgil changes his mind and decides to land the punch. "V-Vi-Virgil." I stutter out desperately, reaching for him. "I-It wasn't D-Dale, h-he d-didn't d-do any-anything."

"What sort of boyfriend are you, letting your girlfriend get beat up by dudes in the boys bathroom?" Dale accuses, snatching me back and ending my efforts to reach for Virgil, his leaf green eyes nearly glowing. 

Shana is momentarily stunned, "Girlfriend?"  She mouths to me, I close my eyes in embarrassment, this was one of those days I wanted to start over. 

Virgil isn't even fazed by the obvious confusion. "Thanks." He bites out coldly, the appreciation has the same energy as 'go jump off a cliff. "Now give me back my girlfriend."

"No. Now get away from me, you're in my way." Dale deadpans, making a move to continue his journey. 

"I won't ask you again." Virgil says in a deadly voice, stepping in front of us, electric blue eyes nearly jumping from his face with how hard he is glaring. 

"Hayden sounds terrified of you so no, I'm not giving her back. Now get the fuck out of my way." He says, his quiet voice ringing volumes, the entire hallway is silent now, the entire school watching the school's heartthrob go against the hot new kid... and over me! - I wail mentally, wishing I was a bird, a pebble, anything but Hayden LeBaron right now.

I woke up, and I was layed on a very soft bed. My vision got blurry as my eyes tried to open them. I got a horrible headache as the memories still arrive. I glanced to the side, and I saw my friends. Tubbo, Phil, Ghsotbur, and.....

DREAM!

I remember. He exiled ME! He convinced TUBBO to exile me. He ruined everything! Ruined my life! I could feel anger boil up inside me and I felt a frown form. 

"Hey...uh. Tommy." Tubbo said, nervously. I could tell he was nervous since of course, I may have been upset at him for listening to the green man. 

"Tubbo. Hi!" I responded. I saw Tubbo cry tears of joy, and he hugged me. A huge wave of memories washed over me with the sudden hug, but I kept myself from yelling of the pain. Tubbo comforted me. 

"I'm so glad you are alright! I thought you forgot me completely!"

"It was just the blow from the TNT"

Phil walked towards us. "Why'd you set TNT and not run away? How stupid-"

"Phil. Dream set it. I was running to get a photograph of me and Tubbo."

Dream started to flush. Shame, anger, disgust he felt. I noticed how he felt uncomfortable, but he wanted to stay and make up from his doing.

"Tommy...I- I'm sorry!" Dream said.

I was going to fight fire with fire. 

"Sorry won't cut it, Dream. Remember those words I said. As I tried to stop you from blowing Logsted. You did it anyways."

Everything went silent. I had to get my anger out. I stood up and faced him. 

"Listen here you prick, YOU made me like this. YOU exiled me because ooh gogy's house got robbed by a 16 year old. oh nooo. Well guess what. All I hear is George. What about Sapnap?"

Dream's eyes widened, as a flush streaked over his face. Embarrassment. From all the times i've blown up Sapnap's items, Dream was there only once. But when it comes to gogy, he's always there, protecting him. I had to hurt him, how he hurt me. 

"Exactly pussy. It's all George. Fucking hell. Now look at me! This is who you made! You are too scared because a pewny 16 year old can possibly take your spot, and I can."

"Tommy! Stop it! Look at what you are saying! You wouldn't listen to me! You wouldn't! You got exiled because Tubbo thought it was for the best! That was his choice!"

Tubbo looked away. 

"I know. And I won't forgive him for that, but he's still my best friend."

Tubbo looked up, in surprise and suspense. 

"The Dream Team. The team that brings happiness. Well, I think it's just The Dream Duo, and Sapnap. Think about that, Prick. You wouldn't forgive Sapnap if he killed George."

Dream stayed silent. I noticed i've gotten much more knowledge about their duo. How poopnap would get left out. It was the fire I was going to throw at him. 

"Fuck. You. Dream. You never were my friend. You manipulated me."

I turned around and Dream slit my arm, leaving a wound. Lovely. 

"Well I reckon I got on one of your nerves, huh?"

I grin formed on my face. Dream was still upset, as I could see. 

"You were much better with no memories, Tommy"

Phil started yelling at Dream.

"What the fuck is wrong with you! Dream he's a goddamn child! a CHILD! He can't do shit to you in this state! He probably still has memories flashing in him!"

Dream stomped outside. Phil healed me, it wasn't perfect since he was still rusty, but it felt nice. 

"Tommy....you- you don't forgive me?" Tubbo asked, with puppy eyes. 

"Tubbo. You exiling me was the worst decision you've done. I still haven't gotten over it, but you are my best friend. Friends stick together, No?"

Tubbo smiled and hugged me. 

"I'll get that forgiveness sooner or later!"

We all chatted, as Dream was outside, throwing a tantrum. How amusing it was. Manipulator to weak.

Days past from the incident. I'm still sorta exiled, I can visit the DreamSMP and L'manburg on certain days, but Dream's tantrum wouldn't let me get un-exiled. It's stupid but whatever. 

I repair Logsted, Tnret, and the Portal. Everything looked good as new, and I was proud. Calluses formed on my hand and feet, due to the so much labor I did in 24 hours. Dream arrived. Fucking hell. What did he want, armor?

"Oh my fucking god, Dream. What now?" I spat out. 

Dream carried a compass and a piece of cake. 

"I wanted to apologize to you, for hurting you in the worst ways possible. I made you a new "Tubbo Compass" and brought cake! Niki made this! Can your forgive me?"

I was hesitant, but I lost the compass during the big explosion. The cake looked really good! Niki baked amazing cakes ! I missed her actually! 

"I mean, I guess I can forgive you. Thank you! Want some cake?"

"Nono! I just had some food on the way here! And this cake was made especially for you!"

Sorta suspicious but I ate a slice. Delicious on a spoon. 

"Mmm I missed Niki's cakes!"

"They were always good, Tommy."

I ate more, but, i felt woozy. I think I ate to fast or I was in an empty stomach. Memories went static. More static. Tubbo, betrayed me. Dream saved me from the hands of Tubbo. Tubbo. Tubbo exiled Dream and I. 

"Tommy?" Dream asked.

"Tubbo will pay for exiling you and I! So will the others who cross our path!" I yelled, as i threw the cake into the lake. 

Dream smiled. My eyes in the other hand, turned a cinnabar red.

Dreams are what makes us people. Dreams are what helps us move forward in life. Dreams are meant to be realized. While passion help us build a dream. While passion turns itself into fire that gets caught up in our minds, burning us alive to achieve the goals. A human or a demon, a beast or a ghost, dreams were similar and one to all without differences, without bias. 

Months passed and Volca turned herself into a Home Baker offically. She managed to get the license from the human government to run the pastry job and expanded her work into tart and pie not sticking just to cakes. Orders and pre-orders kept her busy for the whole week and Volca reduced the time she spent at the botanical garden. 

Volca started her day by 7 in the morning, making the batter and baking the first bunch of cakes in the morning. She would use both her kitchen and Jiah's downstairs to finish the baking quickly and get into fondant and frosting works. She asked for no help to anybody but did it all herself. She would work until it is late at night and store the cakes in refrigerator that needed to be delivered the next day. Mostly people got the cakes directly from the house instead of asking for the delivery since she lived in the centre of the town. Sometimes the nearby shop ownsers would order a cake or two to her when they get the birthday orders and sell at their cafes.
The birthday and anniversary cakes were what Volca did the most hence she learned some words by heart and learned the script. She would sit and learn how to write and pronounce English alphabets at nights since people preferred it. Then she realized how there exists a world of Grammar and shut the door towards it and never dreamed of learning and getting human education again. 

"Hara dear, it's very lovely, my son in law loved it and asked me to order that fruit again from you, would that be okay, you can deliver me next week, we are not in a hurry, I can do the down payment now, " a customer came for the cake again, an old grandma in her late 70s. Volca was elated. She was happy to some regular customers. There were few others who order cake pops and asked for more cupcakes and muffins very often and some high schoolers who pass by the house drop by every evening and have few slices of cakes and pay instantly finishing the cake sitting I'm the balcony where she has set few chairs for the customers to sit down while taking orders.
Nanna helped her get a sign board  for her newly blossomed business. The name was written as Volca suggested, Purple Cakes, after her purple sword she yet had to search out. 

Her core has been severely damaged and it usually takes a really long time to heal for the demons, but she was not aware of that fact and believed strongly  that she had lost the cultivation inside her, adjusting herself to new life, feeling content with it, creating a neat identity. 

Volca was requested to slowly take up bulk orders like a small party. Many asked her if she would be willing to do dessert tables for the ceremonies that would include cakes, cupcakes, cake pop and cake sickles with or without themes. Volca did not have the courage to do it, but she in the end she had to take one order to gain experience and see how it goes. Luckily she was not given any theme except the color blue to be chosen matching their outfits that day, but the rest to do it as she wills for a wedding anniversary party around the corner of the street. 

Volca for the first time, tried to bring in her personal feelings to the cake. The only thing she could think of was Water and Sea when she got the colour code. She used the food colours and blended some shades to get the exact colour of blue she had in her mind. The colour of the light blue silk mixed with white, and the silver threads of the shenlong embroidered in the long gown that cannot be noticed easily unless you stand under the sun and it glimmers. She decided to do the same kind of work in her three tier cake, doing a semi finished cake with white and light blue whipping cream and faint silver lines added in the end. Then she decided to make edible flowers to keep on the top. And for the rest of the dessert table, she chose navy blue, silver, sky blue and white colours to make the cupcakes and sickles. Everything chocolate inside. The delivery day arrived and Volca's works were taken by the customer itself taking Volca along to set the table. 

The party was in the middle of a garden, in backyard of a cottage close to a carrot farm of that family. She saw Nanna attending the party since it was close to her house. Volca set the table very carefully and decorated just as the customer asked her to. Her first dessert table turned into a huge success and everybody who attended the pasrt appreciated her well enquiring more about her job. Volca began to get even bulky orders which led to a confusion. 

"What should I do?" She asked Jiah as she took a day off once weekend not taking new orders for the upcoming whole week in the past 8 months.

Volca stood in front of the door knocking. It has been hard to realize the truth and find him. Ever since he left that way, she has been going through a hard time. "Are you there?" she called him. When she went to his office they informed that he is yet to join. She grew upset, and tensed. She desperately wanted to see him, tell him the truth. She cried, regretting her words. When he failed to open the door, she knelt down and touched the door, leaning her head against them. She didn't know he was on the other side doing the same. "Don't leave me," she said in the end. When she did, he immediately opened the door and took her in his arms carrying her into his condo. She remained silent, still crying, holding onto him, lying her head against his chest. She could smell the cologne on him as usual. 
He settled her down on the bed and looked at her. "Why did you take so long?" he asked her looking eagerly into her eyes.
"I was stupid and...." but before she completed, he moved his head face towards her, taking her lips on his. She gripped her tight on the bed spread while her heart exploded inside. He slowly deepened his kiss and got on top of her, pushing her back on the bed. He saw how tensed she looked but too precious at the same time, and he kissed her again. There was a mischief glistening in her eyes. And she turned him, getting on top. She smirked, tearing his clothes, and throwing them away exposing his ripped body. He was enjoying it. She leaned and locked her eyes with his. Both breathing hard." 

This novel is going to spin off of my first novel, On My Way: The Demon King Made Me His, I mean it takes place in the same universe but two different stories. The novel will here portray the true heart of a Demoness and her life, trying to find the things she was not assigned, and if you are hoping for some heart fluttering romance, mind swaying, emotional swirl and happy moments, You can definitely read this novel.

The aftermath that Eunuch Tang left was by no means little as the Dragon Soaring squad had destroyed 1/3 of the property. Although they never lose a life to the enemy but some of the men of  Huang Syaoran were injured fatally. Huang Syaoran eyebrow creased when Hu Li Fang made the report. He could only silently cursed Eunuch Tang and put up with his silly smiling face less he would scare the fourteen year old girl who was eating moon cakes in front of him. 

Sensing the gaze of Huang Syaoran, Fan Dandan could only turn a blind eye and just continue munching on the cakes. She would definitely be red if she looks at him. 

Hu Li Fang was also looking at her direction as a warm feeling spread all over him, eyes brimming with tears. Their mistress has finally woken up from her deep slumber, although in terms of strength and power she was only in the level of a lower tier human. Give her time and let her cultivate in the best environment, no doubt she would return to her former glory as a Goddess. Huang Syaoran also had this in mind. He would no doubt give Fan Dandan his outmost care and would lavish her with only the best equipment, skills, and nutrients so that the past won't repeat itself when she fell to her undoing. 


The past Fan Dandan was a haughty and proud mistress of the Exodus realm, a realm only high tier god could dream of entering because of the restrictions it had and the fact that it was a separate space created by her alone it was considered as a haven for everyone. Rumored has it that the fruits in the garden of hers was able to strengthen a low tier level human several hundred folds, the water that comes from her spring could prolong your life even in the direst situation, as such everything that was inside the exodus realm was considered a treasure. But even so, her undoing had made the realm collapse. The once behemoth property of the goddess was now considered as a dwelling place for the demons, it was only thanks to Huang Syaoran power that he could restore the realm to some degree but people would never think that this place that they were staying was the same lustrous realm of Exodus.

Her undoing and her punishment to stay at the lowest tier world was the result of her creating chaos in all the world; the immortal peach pendant.

Created from the soul of the fallen gods and the pure soul of humans, one could expect that this was treasure that nobody could ever dream of thinking or making it, but Fan Dandan did it, and spectacularly at that. Because of what she did she was known as the Mad Goddess that even the Jade emperor couldn't turn a blind eye therefore he sent the best warriors to teach his daughter a lesson for creating a taboo, but as expected not one return.

His daughter was already powerful enough to destroy his best warriors.

In response to her father actions, Fan Dandan hunted down the four godly sprites, the azure dragon, the crimson phoenix, the snow white tiger, and the black onyx turtle, trapping them inside the pendant to act as a guardian before breaking it to four pieces. As each piece holds one attribute of its original counterpart she gifted it to some random person, each with status and power of a king, and as expected it resulted in an all-out war in lower tier world. Each piece was so eye catching ande tempting that even the gods, and demons that had were already considered as a crème of the crop of the high tier world fought for these pieces. 

People speculated that the reasons behind her actions was because she was dissatisfied with her father and a sort of entertainment for her dull life some,but the real reason for this was only known by Fan Dandan herself.

Huang Syaoran could only bitterly smile as he recalled the memories before her fall from divinity. He did not know what happened between the father and daughter but the result was Fan Dandan being stripped of her divinity and was punished to live as a mortal in the lower realms. His heart aches when Fan Dandan body disintegrated to dust at the horror of every loyal servants present at that time when the punishment was implemented. Thankfully, the realm that she created holds up to its name as a Miracle realm. Slowly, bit by bit, it slowly stitched the disintegrated particles of its mistress, however the soul of the person in question was still at the lower tier world, living as an ordinary human. The servants could only bid their time as they await their mistress return.

 And that day has finally come.

Clearing his throat, Huang Syaoran took a sip on his tea before dismissing Hu Li Fang who followed his orders and resumed his duty to clear all the debris and fixed the buildings that were destroyed during the fight. 

Fan Dandan took a quick glance at the Hu Li Fang silhouette wracking her brain as to this person was, and the result was just like before; she couldn't remember a thing at all. Looking apologetically at Huang Syaoran he leaned closer as he patted her head while saying "Don't worry Dandan."
With clear innocent blue eyes looking at him Huang Syaoran was momentarily in a daze, as he could see her past figure adorned with beautiful peony flowers and pure white robes with red patterns resembling a koi etched on the sleeves.  He snapped at his daydreaming when Fan Dandan started asking question about Eunuch Tang.

"Don't worry about him, he pose no danger to us as long as we are in this realm." Huang Syaoran answered assuring her. 

"Was I really the jade emperor daughter?" Fan Dandan brows raised into a crescent before taking another bite from the moon cakes. The moon cakes had a sweet taste to it but there was a tinge mint flavour that was addicting.

"Yes, and you did good rejecting the invitation." A haughty smile form on Huang Syaoran lips as he watched the young miss gobble up the snacks that is serve in front of them. He was clearly enjoying it.

If Fan Dandan however accepted the invitation, Eunuch Tang could drag her all the way to the palace, granted if he had some sort of godly weapon which isn't a far fetch idea as the emperor would be particularly in caution, as to not underestimate his daughter. If they were successful, the emperor could easily destroy Fan Dandan new body and her soul who is gradually weaken because of the impurities of the Lower tier world.



And when that happened Huang Syaoran and the others could only dream in seeing her again as she would be lost forever as the palace is the Jade emperor domain.


 At the imperial Palace, the whole place was dreaded with a heavy pressure as the person who sits atop the dragon throne was trembling in rage. Eunuch Tang who was bowing was quivering with fear as he carefully treaded the dark water which was the Jade emperor.
"Your majesty, if it weren't for that damn demon, I would have drag the princess in the palace." Eunuch Tang in terms of power was far inferior in front of Huang Syaoran and that damn demon servant Hu Li Fang who wiped out half of the Soaring Dragon squad.
The Soaring Dragon squad was carefully trained by the emperor himself and was feed and dressed in the best items available as the squad represent the might of the Jade emperor. But they were completely annihilated by that demon servant which was a huge slapped in the emperor's face.
But the emperor couldn't care less about that. His troublesome daughter was back, and would no doubt come after him.

"How did my daughter acted?" Suppressing the fear that was steadily growing in his heart his eyes narrowed watching the poor Eunuch stuttering with his words.

"She—she was acting arrogantly, your majesty. It seemed she didn't change."

"And?" 

"That is all you majes—"before eunuch Tang finished speaking a strong Qi sent him flying to the wall of the palace as he drop dead on the floor. The place where he landed created a shallow crater as pieces of stone that was sent flying drop on the marble floor. 
"Useless. You! Sent some of the best warriors and to guard the entrance of that realm. Kill anyone who leaves." He ordered one of the advisers who immediately carried out his orders while running with a tail tucked behind his legs. 
The Jade emperor could only groan in his frustration as he's people where all unworthy unlike the people of his daughter. His sharp eye darkens as the thought of his daughter storming the palace for his head.

"Let’s announce the Best Foreign Film of the 75th Oscars. The nominees include ‘El Crimen del padre Amaro’ from Mexico, ‘I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore’ from Germany, ‘The Man Without A Past’ from Finland, and ‘Heroes’ from China."
The highlights of each film were played on the screen as the host made an introduction. When he came to "Heroes", the black solemn Qin palace appeared on the screen. Li Lianjie was standing in the center of the frame with a murderous look on his face. Red satin ribbons, yellow sand and white petals were dancing around him.
It was a typical, yet impressive oriental film. Even informed famous directors couldn’t help but fix their eyes on the screen.
It was a pity that the highlights lasted no more than 10 seconds. Before people could get a general idea, the video switched fast to another film.
Finally, the light on the screen faded away. Steve Martin opened the envelope that contained the name of the final winner. "The winner for Best Foreign Film of the 75th Oscars is... ‘I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore’ from Germany!"
Caroline Link, who was sitting only two rows in front of Zhang Yimou, hugged her producer upon hearing the news. In her film, the female director had depicted a cruel war from an exquisite point of view. The film’s alternate title was "Nowhere in Africa".
Another reason the film had won the award was the ongoing war in Iraq. American people were sympathetic about the devastation caused by the war.
The camera turned in the direction of Qin Guan and Director Zhang. Qin Guan was in no mood to expose himself in such a way, but Director Zhang remained calm and expressionless. When he looked at the female director though, he seemed jealous. Words couldn't express his feelings.
That award had been his goal for so many years. It was an acknowledgement of all the zeal he had put into his work. His heart was full of mixed emotions. Men did not shed tears easily though, so the Chinese man had no outlet for his feelings.
Silence. Endless silence. This was the closest he had ever gotten to winning an Oscar. It was a pity that he had missed his chance.
The rest of the ceremony was peaceful for Director Zhang and Qin Guan. The next jokes and awards had nothing to do with them.
The stars were twinkling above the theater as everyone went out. Some people looked happy, while others looked depressed. After one day of noise, the place finally quieted down. Sister Xue was waiting for them.
Director Zhang looked unconsciously at the clean night sky and covered his eyes gently with his hand.
"Are the stars dazzling?" Sister Xue looked up at the sky.
Zhang Weiping held his laughter back. He had originally wanted to comfort his old friend.
Director Zhang felt at a loss. He didn’t know whether he should cry or laugh. Actually, he was luckier than most people in the film circle.
He had been to the Walk of Fame. He had attended an Oscar ceremony. His film had been nominated for an award.
His dream would go on. Cheers! To the filmmakers and directors in China!
"We should drink something."
"Yes, it's a pity to attend such a show and not have a late night snack."
"There’s a canteen over there!"
They bought Mexican corn cakes from a canteen beside the theater, ignoring the looks they got from everyone around them. They couldn’t resist their stomachs and the temptation of delicious food.

The cakes were made of fresh corn kernels instead of corn flour. The brown cakes were sweet and fresh. There was New Orleans roast, fresh red onions, and green peppers in the cakes. Combined with some green onions and black pepper, the cake was really a surprise.
Qin Guan took a big bite. The onlookers around him swallowed their saliva. That Asian boy seems to be enjoying his cake so much!
The roast was tender with a crispy crust. The pressure of his teeth made the juices flow out and ran down along his mouth.

Upon returning back to her room, Xiaobai sat on her bed and turned to her mirror on her bedside table.
Dijun soon walked from his chamber to Xiaobai's chamber, Cha Cha followed behind him, holding a tray with sorrowless flower cakes that Xiaobai's immortal counterpart loved to make before she became mortal.
As he entered her chamber, he found the Princess lying on her bed reading her book, her hair free from pins and ties, cascading around her on the bed and her back.
"Cha Cha!" she yelled before looking up from her book to see the Prince standing there with Cha Cha behind him, holding a tray. She quickly sat up, her book falling to the floor by her feet and went to bend down to pick it up.
Holding a hand up, Dijun stopped her as he walked to her side and knelt down to pick the book up, before motioning Cha Cha forward, he placed the book beside the plate of cakes, he leaned over and picked the plate up.
"These are my way of cooking sorrowless flower cakes, I have been trying to learn to cook for you, so please give me some feedback" he said as she looked at him before picking up one of the cakes.
Taking a bite from the cake, her eyes lit up and a smile found its way to her lips.
"This is really good" she said as Dijun smiled, Cha Cha left with the tray and them to themselves, she returned to the kitchen to find some wine for the couple.
Dijun watched as the Princess shoved cakes into her mouth, mumbling how delicious the cakes were, after swallowing the food, she turned to him and asked him where he had learnt to cook the cakes from.
"A girl I used to know from a faraway land, she loved making these and she did whatever she could to get a friend of mine to fall in love with her" he said as Xiaobai makes a face and turns away.
"Why do you want to be married to me? Is it because of my position as Imperial Princess and my upcoming coronation to become Empress?" she asked, wondering what he motives were for coming to propose marriage to her.
"I fell in love with the smart Imperial Princess, who is kind, who doesn't take orders from anyone, you also live freely while doing what your mother says" he said as she nodded her head.
"Of course I do, I hate being tied down by my status as Imperial Princess, especially when I become Imperial Empress Xiaobai" she said huffing, moving her knees to her chest and leaned her chin onto her knee.
"I will make sure that you get what you want, now, my father has prepared the feast in your honour for tomorrow night, but for tonight, I take you to the village to see the first night of the Festival" the Prince said and stood up.
Holding a hand out to the Princess, she moved her hand up and slid it into his as he helped her up before calling for Cha Cha.
"Yes your Highness?" she asked, bowing to the Prince before the Princess.
"Get her Highness changed and do her hair, I am taking you both out to the village for the Festival, my guard Qingti will follow" he said and Cha Cha nods, smiling happily.
"Cha Cha thanks your Highness" she said and moved to Xiaobai's side to help her get dressed after the Prince left.
Cha Cha helped the Princess into a baby pink hanfu dress, slipping the red blue silk off her arms, the back hanging low at the back.
Cha Cha applied make up to Xiaobai's face and did her hair, using her favourite pins to make it look more beautiful as Xiaobai watched from the mirror, afterwards, Cha Cha helped slip on her shoes and helped her up.
Xiaobai waited with her maid in her chambers for the Prince as he appeared at the door and walked in to see them.
"Your Imperial Highness" he said Cha Cha walked to the door and the Prince walked up to the Princess.
When he walked in and saw her, he had never met anyone as beautiful as her, he didn't want to think about his supposed soulmate Ji Heng, for before his name appeared on the rock, he tried to deny he was in love with Feng Jiu.
Holding a hand made crown in his hands, he watched as Xiaobai took steps towards him.
"Xiaobai greets Prince Shen Ye" Xiaobai said bowing her head to the Prince, Cha Cha was standing beside Qingti.
"Your Highness, you look beautiful, Cha Cha has done a good job" he said as Xiaobai slightly blushed.
Dijun then held the crown up towards her head as he placed it gently on her head, the front of the crown against her forehead and the back held together with pink silk entwined with her hair.
He then held his arm to her and she linked hers with his, he walked her out of the Palace and towards the carriage that would take them into the village centre to enjoy the festivities.
As they passed a brick bridge, Xiaobai's eyes lit up, a smile on her face as she looked among the shops that were decorated for the festival.
People stopped and looked their way as they started chatting, greeting the Prince and his guest, the Imperial Princess from the Wei Kingdom,
Everyone talked about how beautiful the Princess looked and how good they looked together, they talked about her beautiful smile and her bright eyes that took everything in.
"This is like a really good dream" Xiaobai said to the Prince as he smiled and pulled her close, her smile disappeared from her face as she felt shocked about his affection towards her.
'He must really have fallen in love with me' she thought to herself as a blush crept to her cheeks before she leaned more into his embrace.
'She's more comfortable with me then when she was in the Heavenly Palace, she trusts me now, but I don't want her to leave me' he thought to himself as he moved her head back by her chin and kissed her gently and lovingly.
There started up chattering about the kissing couple, cheering for their Prince, happy he had found a bride that he loved dearly.
Xiaobai's eyes closed as she returned the kiss, her arms limp by her side as she was not sure what she should have done in this situation since she was new to romance.
Pulling away from her, he looked into her eyes and smiled softly.
"Mine and mine forever" he said, kissing her forehead where her phoenix flower birth mark had disappeared since she was now a mortal.

Chapter 60: Episode 29 - Tensions On The Rise (2)
We all gathered in the family's personal dining room and everyone sat around the table. The Sweets Princes and I made cakes right after service was over so we could give them to Andou's family.
The younger kids seemed to be in awe at our cakes as they stared at them shimmering beautifully on the table, as well as the adults.
"Oh my, this looks delicious!" Andou's parents stared at the desserts in surprise.
"Chiyo wants cake!" Chiyo said with her mouth wide open.
"These are cake gifts for everyone," I presented our assortment of cakes that we personally made.
"All of them look delicious!" Andou's mother complimented the cakes.
"Amazing, you kids made these? As expected of a cake school," Andou's father highly appraised.
"I'll eat the chocolate cake," Chiyo claimed cheerfully.
With his body turned away, Ichita sat on the floor playing on a smartphone.
"Ichita, look here! There's a roll cake. You like them, right?" Andou offered it to his brother but he ignored it.
"Don't want it," he said bluntly, continuing to play on the phone.
I grabbed a fruit tart that I'd made and walked toward Ichita who sat far away.
"How about this fruit tart?" I offered him who looked at the tart bitterly.
SLAP!
The fruit tart I held was slapped out of my hands and splattered to the floor.
At his sudden rejection, I was shocked to see that the tart I'd made was ruined. Everyone looked at the situation in surprise as well.
'What the hell…?'
"I said I didn't want any!" Ichita raised his voice angrily at me as I took a step back.
"I'm sorry—" I began but Andou stepped towards us and looked angrily at Ichita.
SLAP!
Andou slapped Ichita's face and Ichita looked at him in surprise.
"Ichita, what do you think you're doing?! Can you still call yourself the son of a confection shop!?" Andou raised his voice at Ichita who stared blankly at the ground.
"Wait, Andou—" I began but saw tears welled up in Ichita's eyes and he dashed out of the room.
Andou gritted his teeth angrily and turned away.
"We're so sorry about that Keiko. We didn't think Ichita would do such a thing," Andou's mother apologized to me but I shook my head.
"There's no need to worry about that," I reassured her but even Andou's father looked at me in concern.
"I hope you won't hate him for doing that… We'll need to discipline him correctly," Andou's father brought up.
"No, it's fine. I won't hate him for that, after all, he's just a kid. I'll go follow after him—" I began but Andou interjected.
"Leave him be, Michiko. He's been spoiled too much," Andou said bitterly, turning his head away in disappointment.
I ignored his request and followed after Ichita. I made my way to Ichita's room and slid open the door. Behind a dresser cabinet, I could see Ichita curled up in a ball, tears sliding down his cheeks.
I walked in and sat right in front of him, trying to make eye contact with him.
"I'm sorry for forcing it on you, Ichita…" I apologized to him who looked up at me with sad eyes. "Do you hate cakes that much?"
"...B-Brother's a son of a wagashi shop, too…" Ichita's voice cracked and trembled. "Doing something like entering a cake school… he wants to throw u-us away and go to a cake shop!"
I could see tears start to well up in his eyes again as he explained.
"HE LIKES CAKES MORE THAN ME!!! WUAHUAHUAHUA!!!" Ichita bawled out crying, tears quickly falling down his face.
'Oh no, he's crying again…' I felt bad for seeing him cry because I didn't know that he felt that way about Andou. 'Ichita… doesn't know about Andou's dream…'
I moved in closer to Ichita and wrapped my arms around him, comforting him like I would if Eiji ever cried in front of me.
Ichita seemed surprised by my embrace but he didn't push me away, instead, he leaned onto me and started crying on my shoulders, hugging me back.
"Don't cry, Ichita," I tried to calm him down but he continued to cry. "Leave it to me. I'll show you your brother's true feelings and then you'll understand why he's doing this."
When I'd said this, he calmed down a little bit and I patted his head.
"But how?" Ichita asked questionably.
"You'll have to find out later," I said, giving him a warm smile in return. "This older sister doesn't like when people cry so please stop crying…"
I took a look at his face and saw that his eyes were red and puffy. I wiped his tears off with my hands and he gave me a hesitant smile.

When Ichita had stopped crying, I let him be so he could think to himself. Right after that, I changed into more casual clothes and met up with Andou, Hanabusa, and Kashino. They noticed that I went after Ichita, so I explained to Andou how his little brother felt as they listened.
"I see… Ichita thought that way about me. My parents' hands are full with the shop and the little kids, after all. I must have made him feel lonely the whole time…" Andou said with a distant look on his face.
'I told Ichita that I'd show him his brother's true feelings, but I also need to show him why his brother is so passionate about becoming a patissier…'
"I think… we should make a cake for Ichita," I suggested but the Sweets Princes looked at me confusedly with a look that said: "Come again?"
"Why? Ichita is just going to hate it more," Kashino furrowed his eyebrows.
"I don't think it's because Ichita hates cakes… he just says he hates them because he thought they were taking Andou away from him. It's fine to just clear the misunderstanding. We'll have Ichita eat the cake Andou really wants to make," I explained and they opened their eyes from this idea.
"I think we should do it! I have an idea of what I want to make for him… Will you guys help me?" Andou asked us and we looked at how willing he was to impress his brother.
"Of course," I agreed as well as the two other sweets princes and our sweets spirits.
And so, we worked on the cake Andou wanted to make until night.

She wants to prove to her mother in heaven that she can also become a world-renown patissiere. Her first step—entering the famous St. Marie Academy that specializes in training young patissiers.
But, what happens if there's more to baking than Keiko could ever think of? What kind of secrets will unravel relating to the death of her mother?

(Naho) "huh? Why does it feel weird? I can't see! Please! Help!.... eh? This... where?"

 Naho suddenly woke up in a very different place, even Naho realized that Naho was wearing Kimono clothes. around it all the different ponds, ranging from the style of the house, culture, place of technology.

 Naho did not remember all that.

 Naho walked in that place, there was a woman who approached him and the person said.

(???) "child, where have you been?"
(Naho) "(huh? Child?)" "Um... long story"
(???) "I see? Okay, I'll go"

 Naho felt confused, and continued walking around the place. Naho saw that there was a clan symbol, Naho was confused as to what the symbol was. Naho did not want to question it for fear of being suspected.

 Naho became the center of attention around him, Naho became afraid. Naho went to the castle to look for that person.

 Naho experiences Dejavu, all that Naho feels has seen her surroundings, Naho starts to feel dizzy like finding lost memories.

 While walking, Naho realized that Naho was carrying a locked book. Then suddenly someone called him from behind. That person is similar to Isamu, Naho is getting dizzy because she always experiences Dejavu. That person admitted that he was Isamu, Isamu suspected what was wrong with Naho, Isamu tried to come closer and say.

(Isamu) "Actually I ...."

 There was an attack so that Isamu told Naho to run away together, Naho agreed and ran away to find a safe place. When fleeing, Naho suddenly looks back Naho made surprised because many arrows that lead them. The arrow hit Naho's leg and fell. Isamu took Naho to escape.

 All that was useless, Isamu was also hit by an arrow and Naho fell down. Then Naho sees Isamu killed by the samurai army, after seeing Isamu die, it is Naho's turn to be killed. The samurai stabbed Naho deeply.

 Suddenly, Naho woke up with a surprised expression.

(Naho) "WAAAAAAAAAH" *takes a breath*
(Isamu) "Sasaki, what's wrong with you?!"
(Naho) "thank goodness it's only a dream"
(Isamu) "What are you dreaming about?"
(Naho) "hehehe doesn't exist"
(Isamu) "Is that so?... Sasaki, the doctor said you are allowed to go home, want to go home together?"
(Naho) "eh, really?"

 When parked, Isamu from before held Naho's hand for fear that something would happen. as well as Naho, her face turned red.

 Traveling in the atmosphere at night, Naho saw that there were many fireworks, Naho was confused and asked Isamu.

(Naho) "Masamune-kun, why are there so many fireworks?"
(Isamu) "because it's New Year's Eve"
(Naho) "Huh?"
(Isamu) "Shocked, huh? Because when the doctor was healing you, the doctor made a mistake that made you unable to wake up, then the doctor took you to the emergency room. I thought that I would lose you"
* Isamu's face turns red *
(Naho) "How can I survive?"
(Isamu) "The story is quite long, I'll tell you later"

 Arriving at the apartment, Naho is invited by Isamu to come inside. Naho was surprised to be welcomed by his family and Isamu's family.

 Naho was moved to wait to see them again.

 Naho still needs rest, Naho is standing outside the apartment alone while looking at the fireworks.

 Isamu came with Naho's favorite drink, then drank it. After being drunk, Isamu saw Naho becoming strange and said.

(Naho) "hey... Masamune-kun, have you ever kissed with a girl yet?"
(Isamu) "Huh?? Why are you suddenly asking like that?"
(Naho) "Answer me!"
(Isamu) "Yeah... I've never kissed a girl before"
(Naho) "How could you ever have a kiss with a girl? So bad!"
*Naho approaches Isamu*
(Isamu) "hey why are you hey?
*Isamu sees the drink*
(Isamu) "This drink ... contains alcohol ?! Don't tell me you're drunk?"
(Naho) "Huh? What are you drunk with?... Come on, kiss."
(Isamu) "You're really drunk!"
*Isamu blurred*

 Isamu ran away and tried to open the door, but the door was locked. Isamu forgot that they were all celebrating the new year at Monas.  And suddenly the lights go out, the atmosphere becomes horror and silent.

 Isamu walked very slowly even breathing very slowly.

 When Isamu is in the living room, Isamu sees blue eyes under the table and suddenly disappears.

 Isamu could not see anything. Isamu crashed into the door then entered a room. The room had a window so that it could see but remained dark.

 Isamu walked slowly and suddenly.

(Naho) "ISAMU !!"
(Isamu) "Uwaaa !! Sasaki! Please stop! Noooooooooooooooo !!!"
*Isamu fainted*

 Then, Naho sat on the sofa with no expression.  Isamu woke up, Naho was shocked.

 Then Isamu asked for a story with Naho what actually happened. Naho told me that Isamu just fell asleep, then Naho just bothered Isamu.  But Isamu did not wake up, then Naho stared at Isamu's face until he felt bored and left Isamu's room.

(Isamu) "Turns out it's just a dream, huh?"
(Naho) "What are you dreaming about?"
(Isamu) "You were drunk and tried to kiss me"
(Naho) "hehehe, really? Sounds funny"
*Isamu and Naho smile*
(Naho) "How do I make a new year's cake for both of us?"
(Isamu) "eh! Can you do that?"
(Naho) "I can do it! Mayumi taught me, is there any ingredients?"
(Isamu) "there is!"
*Naho immediately makes a cake*

 While making a cake, Naho gets a message from Saika, Saika wishes her a happy new year and also during the coma that almost claimed Naho's life.

 Naho asks Isamu, did you go into a coma during your time at the hospital? Isamu answered honestly. After that Isamu tried to calm Naho, so Naho was not surprised at all because it had passed.

 After finishing baking, Naho told him to taste it.  Initially, Naho had thought that the cake would not taste good, because it was the first time Naho had made a cake.

 Isamu asked to taste together, when Naho tasted, Naho's face was gloomy because it didn't taste good. But Isamu likes it, Isamu takes a cake knife to cut the cake.

 Naho apologizes for the bad taste, Isamu said that Isamu likes the cake and asks to make more cakes. Naho doesn't believe, Isamu explains why Isamu likes it. After completing the explanation, Naho asks how Isamu knows a lot with cakes? Because while Naho was still in the hospital, Isamu asked Mayumi to teach him how to make cakes.

*Naho smiles*

(Isamu) "Sasaki, make more! It's really good"
(Naho) "hehehe, let's do it later! Now, less than 1 minute more new year"
(Isamu) "You're right, it doesn't feel like we're entering a new year anymore"
(Naho) "I'll get drinks for us"
(Isamu) "eh, yes"
*then...*
(Naho) "here it is"
*Isamu sees the drink that is held by Naho*
(Naho) "What's wrong? Hmmm... Aahh I know, it must be because of your dream, right?"
(Isamu) "hehehe yeah"

(Naho) "waaahhhh, that's so much!"
*Naho approaches Isamu and holds Isamu's shirt*
(Isamu) "Sasaki, what's wrong with you?"
(Naho) "How come it's so cold, huh?"
(Isamu) "hahaha... if you start to get sleepy especially if you are cold you can just sleep in my room because you need to rest, right? Well by chance we also have something else that is definitely very long"
(Naho) "Eh, can I do that?"
(Isamu) "Never mind, it's nothing"

 Naho is in Isamu's room, the room is so neat.  Then Naho immediately lay down on Isamu's bed, Naho until rolling around because she felt comfortable.

Tells of Naho Sasaki's middle school days. Naho who came from the 15th century in Japan was forced to go to the modern era with a new identity. However, Naho had to face trials. But, there are men who are close to her who are always loyal to help her. 

This story only focuses on Naho.

Luke saw Elena was already exhausted, and her eyes shut tightly, while she leaned her body on my chest. We soaked our bodies with hot water in the bathtub. Luke didn't know how many times he entered Elena's body until he was satisfied.
