Today is like the previous others days of my life. Full of numbness, mediocre and nothingness. I don't know whether this world was the one cause of the current me to feel like this or all of it was myself.

It's not that I don't want to find something fun to do. But, I just couldn't. As an orphan plus with introvert personality I just had few friends. Then as I grow up to be an adult I feel isolated. The once friend become stranger. Maybe it kind of awkward to talk with them with my personality. I'm kind of person will getting others felt awkward and boring. 

Well, all that not people said about me but my own perspective about how people look and feel about me. 

"Ding host has been found!" 

A sudden voice resounded in my head. My eyes just slightly widened in surprised. I wonder if I just heard wrong with my vast imagination as a writer. 

I always write such a story too where a protagonist got a cheat like system to conquer the world and taken revenge to his enemy and subdue a lot of goddess to become his wife.

Though thus kinds of story already numb people because it already outdated. I still write it. Maybe, deep in the core of my heart, I want to have that kind of life too. I just couldn't.

Well, maybe I just wrong in the head after write a lot of system like story. I know as a writer, I tend to have psychology problem but I never thought it could be this dangerous. 

I touched my chin while wondering whether I should stop writing and rest. So I will got good mental condition again.

So it getting worst. Maybe I should try check it. I just muttered my intention to check my inventory. A tab like screen appear in front of me.

I was a little surprised but a blurted of little laughed couldn't help come from me. What the point giving me a sword? About boots of stamina even make me crazy. Stamina? As a writer, I rather choose boots of intelligence which give a vast knowledge to write a story of mine.

I wonder what the use of this system in my current life. I don't want fame because I know that only cause me to be an experimental subject.

"Ding, doom count down only left sixteenth hours left.  Host please be prepared before the arrival of doom." 

As soon I heard it, my expression become emotionless once again like always. I know there something wrong about the gift come from the system. But, I never expect something like this was announced from the system.

I wonder how the system know about it or the system was the one cause it? 

"The doom is not cause by system." 

Okay, now it even read my thought and denied to be the cause of the doom. 

"The arrival of doom is cause by human. The system only need to analysis the environment near the host location to identify it."

Maybe the system said was correct but who and when it created. That's a unknown mystery should be taken in account.

"The system name is Encourage system. It was created by the vast imagination realm of living and only just created before immediately bind to the host's soul."

Okay, now it even bind to my soul. Though uncomfortable, I know there a lot of benefit for it to do that.

The first thing I should do for now is to check about the stuff I have in my inventory. I just intent my mind to take out the item I need to take and it immediately appear out of nowhere. It quite interesting to use the inventory. What worry me is the doom that had been told by the system is still vividly on mind. 

The first thing I has taken out is a sword. The sword look ugly and ghostly. It's black as charcoal. Of course that just the outer appearance.

As I draw the sword from it scabbard. The crystal clear of metallic shine like a mirror could be seen. 

At this point of time I understand that this sword pretty dangerously sharp and it edge has seem produce a sharp aura cutting every part of my nerve. 

This sword will be dangerous even for me who don't even know of any sword art. I put it back into the scabbard and store it to my inventory. 

Now let me check the skill book that I've had in the inventory. The book is pretty normal, and as soon I open it for a look. It turn into beam of light and shot toward my temple.

The numb feeling could be felt in my head. As a second passed the numb feeling disappear as if it never happened.

"Ding, congratulations to the host for gaining the Observation analysis skill." 

As I received the info from the system. I immediately use it toward my surrounding. I gazed at the pencil of the table.

As soon I intent my skill to analysis to the pencil. The pretty damn lot data appear in a tab screen in front of me. 

Well, though it is a skill not use for killing like the sword. At very least it still a very useful for  support and hidden ability to assist me to stay survive even longer.

Now it's the time for me try out the boots. I wear the boots and go out the the groceries store to buy a supply such as food and drink. I  realise that I feel full of stamina no matter how long I walk from home to the groceries store and buy lots of stuff with me before back home without taking any transportation.

It's quite good to have as I don't have a time to train myself to build up my stamina. As the doom arrive I think this boots were good for me to increase the rate of survival of mine in the future.

It's the time to eat the stat pill. It's pink coloured tablet. I quite hesitate to eat it actually. Since the previous item was pretty normal for me to use. I think this pill won't killing me right. 

I just put both the pill to swallow in a single gulp. An immediate spike of pain for my hold body immediately appear. All veins could be seen vividly on the outer  appearance of my skin.

I pain and warm scare me which lead me to take out one of the healing pill to swallow. Of course as soon I eat the the healing pill the pain subside a lot. 

I not going eat the other pills, so I immediately take a nap to rest body. I don't know how long time has passed after I wake up. I only fell like that I felt unknown strength inside body of mine.


As I look outside of through the window, I know the time only passed a little. Since it only start turn to gloomy which represent the night only about to start. 

"Ding, the time before the doom is ten hours."

So the doom will start two hours after midnight. What a good time to start, where human deep in asleep all of them will not notice the change.

As for me, all I need to do is be prepared before tomorrow. My goal is to survive not to be hero. The strength of mine is strong I could feel it. All I need to do for now is adapting the change of my current body.

First of all, I need to learn some basic of martial art and especially sword art. I go browse the internet and download all the educational video that I need. 

I only take s few hours to understand all the video and completely comprehend all of it. 
The only last preparation is to put all of it into practical.

A few hours passed and all the basic art and sword art is learn in practical. All of thanks to my observation analysis to boost my comprehension.

I look the time at my smartphone at it shown midnight will coming soon. I take the shower with my worry wash away. It quite relaxing to take a shower after the training. I only lie on the bed and rest my head on the pillow while gazing at the ceiling.

I know that I cannot even sleep for now. I was thinking about how the world will change in the future. The dangerous type of danger is not anything but the unknown. Of course, I know the known danger are human itself. No one should be trusted because human tend to be selfish for self survival and it included me too. 

The time passed slowly like never ever, maybe  I know that I never take my time to carefully observe the time as a writer. Still, deep inside my heart, I wish for time to stop passing. I want to fully enjoy the remaining peace of my life. 

I am fortunate to have the system to tell me about the doom. So, I can prepared myself and enjoy my remaining time more deeply.

In the current era, the world has started to evolve without humanity notice, and human will be the last to evolve and with the higher failure. Let's follow our main character who is mainly live his peaceful life as a writer.

Sui with the encourage system will be together to go through the journey of this doom days for up and down situation. The questions are, could he even survive? If he survive, what kind of path will he takes, hero or villain? To know all of it, all you reader only to keep reading it to the end.

Zhang Zian decided to continue the pet store until he couldn’t support it anymore. His parents had loved pets very much. If they were looking down from heaven, they would be sad to see the store go.

Although it was a good wish, he knew nothing about running a pet store. There was a first time for everything, though; he believed he would find a way, one step at a time. 

His first goal would be relatively small—to establish a solid footing in the city. 

He had a big breakfast at a street vendor and felt energized. He returned to the store, moved the cages and display cases out, dusted with a broom, soaked the mop in disinfected water, and mopped the floor until it was nice and shiny. He moved the cages and display cases back after the floor had dried.

He also wanted to renovate the store, but he gave up on that thought after realizing the shortage in cash flow.

When he was cleaning the store, some neighbors walked by and expressed their sympathies for his loss. Some neighbors didn’t know him and just looked at the cages and display cases with curiosity.

When the sun started to rise, he finished cleaning. All the dust and odors were completely gone, leaving only the fresh scent from the disinfecting water. It smelled just like before.

His parents had always taught him to keep a clean mind and live a clean life. 

He had gotten all sweaty from cleaning the store. He moved the reclining chair to the door and rested for a few minutes. 

Now that he had decided to take over the pet store, there had to be some paperwork to handle. First, he needed to change the owner’s name from his parents to his name on the business license. He was not familiar with the procedure, so he started researching online using his cell phone.  

"I have to go to the notary’s office. So much work!"

In order to inherit and transfer the pet store to his name, he needed to get an inheritance notarization using his ID card, the deed for the pet store, and his parents’ death certificates.

Zhang Zian always tried to avoid dealing with troublesome matters like that because he hated them. He was not even sure how he made such an irrational decision like inheriting the pet store.

He wanted to have a fresh mind and pull himself together. No matter how sad he was, he should not show his tears to the customers.

He opened the app store in his cell phone and started a search with "pet" as a keyword. He wanted to see if there was an app which would teach people how to run a pet store, although deep in his mind he didn’t think he would be able to find it.

Umm, what was that?

A game with a "limited time download" sign showed up in the search results.

Some apps and software were free for a limited time, but this was the first time he ran into something tagged "limited time download."

He laughed. He achieved his goal to freshen up his mood.

It might be possible to capture virtual pets, but how was it possible to capture a real pet with a cell phone? It even mentioned capturing mythical creatures... Unbelievable!

There was a countdown next to the game, showing that there were only 00 hours, 00 minutes, and 49 seconds left to download.

"Let’s see if this really is a ‘limited time download’!"

He hit the "download" button, and the download shortly reached full speed. 

This game was pretty large. Hopefully it wasn’t a virus!

He hesitated. When he was about to cancel the download, it showed "download completed!" on his cell phone.

Almost at the same time, the downloading page disappeared. The app store went back to the home page automatically. 

He put the keyword "pet" in the search bar again.

"Oh really?! Nothing?!"

The result showed nothing was matching his keyword. 

He didn’t want to give up yet. He added "hunter" after "pet" as keywords, but still nothing came up.

"This game is really a limited time download… What does the developer want?" he murmured to himself, confused.

Developers made games for marketing. The more players there were, the broader the influence. The broader the influence, the more money the game would make. Even free games earned reputation for the developer. Limiting the time to download meant limiting traffic. Who would do something like that? 

A dialogue popped up on his cell phone: Install? 

He chose "Yes."

He chose "Open."

He used the fingerprints on his right hands for online banking. Just in case it was a scam, he used his left hand to record the fingerprints.

The background looked like the deep dark night. A shining white light was jumping lightly.

I am at a Room It is brightly lit  with a lamp at the bedside and some filament tubes at the ceiling. The Room is big and gorgeously decorated with pictures and decrations .The walls are painted blue which gives one a feeling of serenity. It is a Five starred hotel room. I can know this by seeing the Paper which is on the table.

The Hotel name is Blue Ocean which truly is a good name.

I look at my smartphone  black screen with a twitching lips as if this is the reason I'm here.

I walked up to the window which is at the right side of the bed... I look outside of the window below and found people running away  a group of other people like they were in some murderous chase.

The people who were running at front were fear stricken as confused what is going on.

I look down squinting my eyes and saw that the people who were chasing behind were slow on their feet but they were still relentless.

Suddenly one male figure fell down hitting something and I could see him being trampled
by the others. After some time the fallen figure rolled around and stood up with mangled hands which was limping and continued walking joining the chasing crowd.

I saw this scene and I know that I am in an apocalyptic era.

My Name is Amar ,19 year old.. Thought I live a middle class life in this country. Education I have.. Now I am at my college doing business management study. I don't know why I am even studying here. I was since small  told that education is necessary to find a job . So I thought I needed to study but after graduation from school I realize it was never enough.

It is to play PUBG.

I was playing PUBG. Reaching Ace. An achievement was it?. Actually No, It isn't. 

Now Ace players are like a herd of sheeps.
 
But what I am talking here is not about the game but my mishap. I was playing PUBG while charging the game started with and intense match. All other every player landed in one place . My game crashed and the phone couldn't support it. The overload blew up my charger and I dropped my Phone.

I was scared shitless. Damn My phone... I was scared AF ..I tried to On but it didn't ..I pressed for a long time and finally it switched On but there was no main menu as it was stuck on recovery Mode screen..

The update started coming in.. I was now a bit calm.. Still I look at my charger and cursed my negligence for not taking care of my phone well. I'll never do that ever again.

The update finished after 5 minutes which left me happy.

I look up at the main page screen but I was flabbergasted as to what is this thing.

" Where are all my apps.. And what kind of theme is this.. Oh wait there is one app ...hmm it's an App store.. Well I guess I'll download PUBG again..."

I opened the app store and lots of paid apps were there but nah I am not buying these.. I don't even buy things inside game. Why would I buy these.!

I looked for where the search menu is but I found None.

There was no search menu.

' What do I do now.! Does this thing have any customer service.. Seems like the new update Appstore is fully bugged.'

Amidst this lockdown I don't think I can find any customer care.

I left the phone to get the spare charger..

I looked around the house to eat something. My mother was watching T.V.. Sister was busy 
with Phone..

I look inside fridge took out the butter and spread it on the bread..
Damn why keep the butter in the fridge. It get hard.

I went back to my room.. It is small with a bed and a table with books stacked up on one another and clothes hanged on the walls.

It just like living in a Storage room.

But still the smaller the room..The comfortable I feel.. Things are most of the time at my hands reach which truly makes an Ideal lazy life.

I look at the phone and a notification popped up.

I saw the price and feel like it is a scam or a virus implanting methods.

People nowadays would download weird Apps and their personal information are leaked and all their information get revealed to the one behind the scene.

After that calls would keep on coming disturbing the victim. Telling they won a lottery, or other various methods. Some would be hook.

In this country, People are too naive.. Money does lead people to destruction.

I look at the app description and saw that it provide game coupon code.. 
I saw this and had second thoughts.

If I get this I can buy the skins and flex or just sell the code to others.. Hahaha.

I look at the app and tapped download. I did not need to worry about my personal information as I don't even have those recorded here.. And if they call me and if  its an unknown number I'll just block it.

How much can they persist right. 

If you don't give them an opportunity they won't even be able to scam you.

I looked at the download bar it went to 2% then straight to 100%

I just felt that the game was not even fully downloaded. It just went from 2 to 100 in a matter of seconds.

Maybe I need to download the additional files first then it will show its original size.

Ron opened the game and saw the loading screen. It took more than 10 minutes to open the game.

I had the patience because of playing PUBG. Well In last zone it is who has the most patience can survive so I had build up. But 10 minutes was still the most I could hold on.

My picture was taken and I was shown the character Interface.

 I'm impressed waiting for 10 minutes. This character Interface is so realistic ..
'Ahahahah, My face... Woah , that body.. Quite the nice build. Let me morph my face to suit it.'

Seems I look quite pleasing with that kind of body. I would sign-up for gym soon after this lockdown.

The character Interface is showing me in a  empty Room with a whit background.

I was in love with interface and was looking forward to playing this game.

I equipped my character with a black suit from Hitman. Except for not having a bald head.

There were sets of other clothes but they had to be paid with in-game currency known as ZP which I had none. Some free dresses were there so I picked this black suit.

Now let's see the weapon rack..
I look at the weapon selection screen and there was only a crowbar and a baseball bat.
The others were locked and had to be paid.

I reluctantly picked the crowbar and went for gene formula section. 

The description says that these are gene formulas. One could buy the recipe but had to collect the ingredients himself and make it.
 Only one recipe was free  while other had to bought with GC.. I had my confusion as to what GC was but It seems it had its own other system of currency.

After selecting the basic gene enhancing Formula I pressed start.

The Tutorial started playing...I looked at it the graphics were decent..I had no interest and skipped it.

I will see it when I am bored of playing.

The loading screen showed up and I saw the gameplay trailer.

Damn what kind of engine does this work on.

The zombies look so realistic. Even those zombie movies CGI would fail with this game one..

The Loading screen disappeared and some terminal screen showed up in the display.

What a bore... Seems the game crashed.. I dropped the phone on my bed and look at the ceiling...

This not not the scene which he had seen a hundred times in a day but it was a lot different. I looked around truly Panicked thinking what happened and then out of a blue a blue screen popped out in front of my vision.

How am I? Well I'm doing fine, that's what we all say right? Actually school just got finished and a lot of things are happening to our world, like the Virus named NCov. Good thing I don't have that.

       I confessed to my crush.
First I said "Hey, I liked you" and he says he likes me too. I was so happy because he is so sweet, kind and loyal. But as time goes by I started to feel like I don't love him in a way like I want him to be my boyfriend or it's just my friend who is his ex likes him again. It's okay if my friend still likes him I guess? But problems starts to come again in my life, I failed my exams (actually I'm an Honor Student), my parents started to compare me again to my sisters and different people, I started to act bad again that's why I hated myself more and more, I avoid my crush until the time that I said I want him to be my friend only and he started to act like the way he used to (Silent and Sad inside), I wish I could tell him all my problems but I think telling him about how I feel will make him sad too so... I just hide it. Weeks passed and I started to talk to him again and became like the old days where we are so close and talking like everyday but still he didn't notice my pain every smile, every laugh that I showed to him.

Until the end of the school year came and he talked to me with his friends and says "Umm...Hey, wanna talk about your problems?", I was shocked and wanted to tell him everything but I don't want to tell everyone know about it so I just said "Hmm? I don't have any problems dude, Haha" and I said goodbye while I regret what I did.
He chatted me online and says sorry that he's with his friends and we can't talk alone together, he says he wanted to hug me but when he saw me he frozed, I say it's okay and he promised me that he will hug me when the next school year starts.
I still love him like as a crush but I'm scared he only think of me now as a friend so I just keep it inside, I haven't cut/slit my wrist for months now because I'm trying to avoid any self harm but as I keep the pain inside my attitude changes a lot until I feel nothing anymore. Well my family don't even care about me like they don't talk to me, and if they will it's only because it's needed.
It's okay though because I don't feel sadness anymore because I'm used to it.
I started to stay away from social media and other apps so that I could be more active like doing activities in home but until now all I do is sleep.
I download apps for depression chats but it doesn't work for me. Until I just gave up and just go with the flow in this world, Idk anymore.

Everyday before I sleep my Anxiety came back again.

When I get old, can I still do lot of things? Will my children leave me or stay? Am I going to be alone or with my husband? Can I still meet my old friends and spend time together?

I sometimes felt calm, sad or lonely.
My crush starts to talk to me again and tell me a lot of happy things and I sometimes blushed secretly (in Chat) But today he came offline again and says to me that he will not be active for days... I miss him.

I have watched a movie All The Brightest Places it is a good movie for those who felt loneliness or something, i recommend it and there is a lot of quotes there too which is one of my favourite things to do (read quotes) 
The story tells different types of feelings that you might also feel too.  Sounds good right?!

Hi, Here i'll tell you a story about a girl with depression.

Ting searched for a few minutes until he found an assignment that caught his attention. The assignment was to hack into some schools' grading program to change a students score.

Ting thought if he could have hacked into his universities grading system that their professors used then he could have easily had average grades. Then he wouldn't have had been expelled from the university.

"Heh, I should have thought of this. But, to do so I would have had to pay quite a hefty sum." Ting reminisced about his expelling from Everlasting University. Ting accepted the assignment without a second thought. On the screen, it displayed some more in-depth information.

Assignment - Change Students Grades
Information: Zhao Tai needs his grades boosted to above average. His high school is called Tung Tang high school.

"First, I need to infiltrate and gain access to their school grading program. To do so I would need a teacher's account. If not then I can try to infiltrate without it and try to get administrator rights." Ting thought of a way to complete his task.

When he finally decided which option took the lest effort and was faster to complete. He chose to just gain access to this students' teachers' account for the grading program. However since the assignments information didn't have their teachers' name included, he decided to gain access to a teachers' account from his clients' school.

"After I complete this assignment, I should get some food." Ting thought as he didn't have breakfast yet. Ting wanted to finish so that he could get some breakfast. 

Ting quickly went to Tung Tangs High schools website. From the website, he saw a recent photograph posted on their front page. The picture had a teacher or an adult with some students doing a lab experiment. Apparently, they were trying to advertise their science department as better than other schools.

However, for Ting, this was a perfect opportunity. He quickly found the teachers name in the caption under the photo. He then found his school email because there was a contact us information in the captions to get more information about their science department.

He quickly sent the email with an attachment. Basically, he sent a Trojan horse. The email was as follows.

And no there isn't any nudes photos of anyone. It just attached a photo which if he clicks will create a backdoor on the computer he downloaded it from. He pressed the send button and before he went to buy some food. He went to an ATM to convert the USD into yuan. After he had converted he quickly went to BurgerQueen.

The reason why he left his home was that he had to wait to see if the teacher downloads it. If he does he can quickly access their computer and use the schools grading program and change his clients' grades.

Meanwhile, Guan Duan, a science teacher was eating his breakfast inside his classroom. He usually always buy some burgers from WacDonalds and heads to school early so he can prepare his lesson plans.

While eating his WacDonalds burger, he was creating a slideshow to show his students next week in class. He heard the notification sound meaning that he received an email. He switched tabs to his email and saw a new email sent to him named <Quick! Theses nudes photos were just leaked!!!!!!>. Guan Duan silently gulped, he turned his head towards his class.

His desk was at the front of the class meaning when students walk in and look right it's at the front. Therefore after confirming there was no one watching what he was doing he clicked on the email and started to download the photo. After a few minutes, the photo was finally downloaded. When the photo downloaded and was displayed on the screen Guan Duan was scared so badly that it made him jump and scream.

What he saw, of course, popped up instantly when the photo finished the download and therefore he wasn't ready to view it. The photo was of a ghoul-like-face with hollow eyes and dark background. With bits of blood in its mouth.

After he calmed down he thought that whoever sent the email was a cruel, cruel person. However he wouldn't think it came from an expelled university student, otherwise, he would go and find him and slap him for scaring him.

He quickly deleted the photo and continued working on his slideshow. However, he never thought that what he downloaded was a Trojan horse and that it installed a backdoor on his computer so whenever Ting enters this backdoor he will have full control of his computer.

However, if deleting the virus was that easy then think again. Once he downloaded the photo his computer is already vulnerable. That is the reason why to never download things like torrents because if you don't download anything besides the trusted programs then good luck to the people trying to steal your information.

When Ting came back home he was greeted by the receptionist. "How was breakfast?" Yao Chen asked with a smile on her face.

"It was great, had a nice burger. Now I'm pretty much full." Ting replied happily as he patted his belly.

"You should cut back on the junk food. There are too many carbs, and you'll turn into a pig." Yao Chen told Ting out of kindness.

"Okay, I'll do as you say. By the way, if you need any help with fixing computers you can come to me. I'll fix it for free." Ting offered because he knew her very well since he had started to live here. 

"Oh. You can fix computers? That's great I just so happened to have a computer that hasn't been working for a few weeks."Yao replied. "I didn't have the time to get it looked at since I sit here all day. And since when did you learn how to fix computers?"

Ting didn't know what to say so he made it up. "Recently, I self-taught myself over the weekend. I didn't have much to do since I got expelled so I decided to fix computers as a hobby." It was not false but it wasn't true either. Since he did somewhat learn by himself. And with help from the system, he got more practical experience.

"Oh. That's great, it's nice to have something to do when you got so much free time." Yao complimented.

"All right, I need to head back and work on something. See you later." Ting said his goodbyes and he left and headed up the stairs still creating a sound with every footstep and echoing through the larger empty stairwell.

When Ting turned his computer on and checked if the teacher downloaded it or not. It left him smiling when he found that there was another computer he could access remotely from a backdoor installed on the teachers' computer.

He quickly typed in some code and entered through the backdoor that was installed. When he saw the slideshow and the mouse cursor moving he instantly knew that he was still using the computer. He stealthily typed in some code on his computer and turned the teachers' camera on and saw his face.

The teacher had blonde hair, with a few wrinkles on his forehead. He already knew what he looked like from the photograph on the schools' website but, he felt that he needed to know when the teacher leaves his computer. So he could quickly open the grading program and hack so that he gives himself admin so he could access all the classes and change them.

He knew that it was still early in the morning and classes start later so all he needed to do as to wait until he teaches and quickly changes his clients' grades.

"All right it's time to play the waiting game," Ting said out loud as he began to do some light exercises like some seats and jumping jacks and push-ups.

After an hour and so, the students finally entered the room and greeted the teacher as they head to their seats. Ting knew his chance was coming. He almost couldn't wait any longer. Then after all the students sat down and took out their binders and pencil cases. Guan Duan finally stood up and welcomed everyone and showed them what he would be teaching today.


While he was talking and teaching the students he would have never thought that his computer would be completely hijacked and used to change some students grades. If he found out he would most likely quickly shut down his computer and almost never use it again until he removes the Trojan horse or virus that was on his computer.

The reason was that if the school found out he would most likely lose his job for helping a student raise their mark with them earning it. His reputation would be at an all-time low and he would be despised by his fellow colleagues.

Ting quickly searched for the grading program and typed away trying to trick the program into thinking he was an administrator. After a few minutes of typing code, he gained admin privileges.

Of course, he would be getting rid of his traces after he completed the task and remove the admin rights. After he searched for his clients' name. He found his grades and quickly changed them from a 65 % to 83%.

After doing so he confirmed his changes and exited the program after revoking his admin rights and removing all traces of he ever been there. Then he set the computer of how it looked when the teacher left it and left the computer.

After making sure he didn't forget anything, he went the HackersHaven website and marked his assignment as completed.

"Ah the novel was so cool!"

In a plain and messy office, like one somewhere near you, a company slave is slacking. With a work cabinet full of munchable snacks and her phone out in one hand, she could somewhat survive another soul-draining day at work.

"An ultimate level up system, ahhh what a fantasy. I need one like that." she whines to herself, finishing the latest update on whatever webnovel she was reading now.

"Maybe an ultimate writing system? Oh something that let's me download skills and art or-"

"How about you just get to work?" 

A squeky voice too cute to be intimidating rolls out the chips bag on the office desk. If an ordinary looking hamster could radiate evil and pain with a cute fuzzy face well this one was it. For one it could ....talk.

"How about you stop lazing around all the time and just get ... DOING?!"

"Haha good one Mr. Hamster!"

"And stop eating Cheetos! I demand organic baby carrot sticks!"

"Yes yes Mr.Hamster."

"And finish your assignments so you don't get overtime again! Then go home and write stuff!"

"Yes yes Mr. Hamster."

"We shall make our readers shed bloody tears with all that is human suffering! Poison and pain for the characters!"

"Yes yes Mr. Ham- WAIT WHAT?!"

Before the lazy office slave knew it, the adorable fuzzball had clamored over her shoulder and was climbing its way up to the sensative roots of her head. An evil rodent bent on a small scale world domination.

"No no nooooooooo!!!!" she cried, already feeling the tugs on her hair that meant her fingers were no longer her own. No longer hers to click click and control at the key board.

Like a wild movie, or a very fun cartoon, a rodent had taken the lead.

"Bwahahhaha! Now get to writing!"

"I'm at work you crazy gerbil."

"I AM A HAMSTER AND YOU SHALL REFER TO ME ONLY AS GOD OR HAMSTER!!!"

"*sigh* yes yes Mr. Hamster. Can we at least wait till lunch to sneak write my shit webnovel. I literally do not want my assistant manager catching me again."

"Hmmmmm" squeeks the hamster, stroking it's fluffy little chin. If it had a beard it was be a disastardly cute evil. 

"Acceptable, but in sacrafice I demand....More suffering!!!"

At a office desk, maybe near you, there is a for fun aspiring writer and the maybe violently cruel hamster that controls her work. This is their very mundane and terrible daily life.

He had slept a full eighteen hours and no longer looked that sleep deprived, he took a shower, had a coffee, ordered a take-out and then the ghost tackled him. 

Yet rather than her passing through him, she had actually made him fall to her own shock. 

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry!!" She flailed her hands. "I didn't think I…" 

He sighed. "Did you think my writing talent was something a human should be capable of?" 

"...Yeah?" She asked, confused. 

"Fine, just get off, I don't enjoy laying on the floor." He looked irritated. 

"Oh, that was a joke!" Gears clicked in her head as she got up.  

He groaned. "Don't rub it in." But he could now get up as well. He rubbed his hip, but let it be a few moments later. 

"Okay, so, my name is Mandy! What's yours?" The girl started the introductions. He had said he would talk with her and she had also waited for him to get a shower, coffee and… she thought he would need breakfast and calling the take-out answered that. She wasn't so insensitive that she would keep someone from taking basic care of themselves. 

Yet rather than replying to that, he said. "Five questions. I will answer only five, so ask carefully." 

"Uh--" The girl squinted her eyes like she had been cheated.   

"I have another deadline coming up soon." He explained. "After eating I'll get to work." 

She reluctantly nodded. "What's your name?" She didn't feel like it was right to call him by the name on the book without asking. 

"August," he confirmed that the name on the book had been indeed his real one. 

Well, it was a wasted question then, but Mandy hadn't wished to guess with something as important as a name. "August, why did you ignore me for three days?" 

"I had no time to waste on conversations," he replied. 

Her eyes squinted dangerously and her hands raised up ominously, so August felt like he had to keep speaking. 

"Most humans don't see ghosts and I look human enough, so unless you were too fresh as a ghost you wouldn't have known I could see you, so no damage done?" 

Mandy sighed. He had a point. "What are you then?" 

"Half-human, half-ghost," August replied. 

Mandy thought a bit, confusion written over her features. "How is that possible?"

"If one of your parents is a ghost, other is human, you get something like that."

"I mean - how? Humans can't touch or see us normally, except..."

August put up fingers and listed: "All hallows, winter solstice, anytime when someone holds walpurgis," he lowered his fingers, "and there are certain places in the world where that isn't a problem. In eastern europe, there's a whole month where dead and living can intermingle and there are also cursed forests and whatnot, so you just have to travel a lot."

"Oh," Mandy nodded. "So they met like that?"

"No." 

"How did they meet then?" Mandy leaned closer. 

"Aren't you out of questions already?" August peered at her. 

"Don't be that stingy, it counts as a reply to the previous one. 'Yes/No' isn't a proper answer." Mandy narrowed her eyes at August. 

"Fine," he sighed. His breakfast hadn't arrived yet, so he told her the story as pieced together from bits and pieces told by his parents.

"It happened twenty eight years ago..."

Inside a luxurious looking mansion, second floor,  behind high rococo styled doors at the very end of a long hall was a pastel colored bedroom. Furnished with white, elegant furniture, landscape paintings by the walls. Inside the room were two figures - an old man in the bed and a younger one standing beside it.  

"I'll have you stay here for the night," the old man said, he was wrinkled and seemed to be close to seventy. 

The young man nodded, no surprise on his features. If his eyes weren't moss green and his stance wasn't so firm, giving a sense of good health and strength, you might have mixed him up with the sleep deprived writer of the present. He wore a classic casual outfit reminding of someone well off, the only slightly odd detail was him wearing silk-like black gloves. 

"I'll turn off the lights then," the younger man said, this time it was the turn of the old man to nod. 

The younger man went to a wall nearby and pressed a switch. With a faint click the lights went off and the man returned to the bedside of the old man, leaning by a wall.  

They didn't converse and while the old man did cast glimpses at the young man for a while, soon he closed his eyes and his breathing slowed down.

The young man, however, kept a careful watch of the whole room. He remained still and silent for half an hour at least, till a faint glow appeared by the ceiling. 

A beautiful girl floated down from above - dark gold hair and dark brown eyes. She was wearing a white sundress and a hay hat, but rather than seeming as outdoorsy as her clothes might hint at she looked similarly sleep deprived to one certain writer, like she hadn't seen much sun. She was beautiful in spite of her visibly bad sleeping habits and unhealthy paleness. 

Even if the young man had put on something reminding of a fighting stance upon spotting the glow, that had loosened, as he was caught by surprise. 

As the ghost reached out for the old man, the young man took her hand, pulling her towards him. Despite what one would expect, his hand did not pass through her and she was equally shocked about it. 

"Wha--"

"Shh." The man gestured, pointing at the sleeping man. 

The whole situation was so utterly shocking to the ghost that she closed her mouth and let herself be pulled away from the bed.

The old man shifted a little bit in his sleep, but didn't wake up. 

The young man, in the meantime, had reached the balcony doors and carefully opened them, going out, pulling the ghost along with him. She kept looking at him, then back at the bed, back and forth, too confused to resist. The sounds of a fountain met them and so did a scenery of a rose garden illuminated by the moonlight below them. 

The girl's expression changed from bewildered to suspicious to just confused by the time the man had closed the doors behind him. 

"Are you the only ghost haunting him?" The man asked with a soft smile. 

"...in this house, probably," the girl replied.  

A trace of relief passed the young man's features. "You know, he's already married and old…"  

Her jaw dropped. "What-- are-- you s-s-s-saying, I-I-I-- " 

He laughed.

She pouted. "Listen here… "

"Raegan," he dropped his name. 

"Reagan. I'm not interested in that old man in--" She was clearly embarrassed. "...that way." 

"Oh, that's a relief," Reagan said, his eyes were smiling, even if he tried to fake a relieved expression. "What's your name, by the way?" 

"Hilary," the girl replied. "Don't say it - I know it doesn't fit…" She added. 

"Pleased to meet, you, Hilary." Raegan kept smiling but this time without any fake expressions overlaid on top. 

"Likewise," the girl slightly bowed her head, her hand shifted a little and it seemed like she might have curtsied, had her hands been free. 

"Since you've made it clear that you don't see the old man in "that way", does that mean I might have a chance?" Reagan asked. 

She pursed her lips, then glanced away. "Stop joking around," the girl said, pouting again and looking at her hand that was being firmly held. 

"I'm not." he said all that with a straight and open face. "I'd be open to be haunted by you anytime~" He winked. 

"Pff" She laughed.

"Ah, don't laugh about my feelings," he replied with an amused expression, yet there was a serious tint in there. 

"It almost sounds like love at first sight," She said, tilting her head lightly. "For a ghost at that." She felt unsure, her eyes seeking for any trace of deceit. 

"What if it is?" He asked, no trace of deceit present.   

Her eyes flickered as she looked up at him. She had a hard time believing him, this was too sudden, yet he didn't seem to be lying either. It didn't help that they were amongst a beautiful scenery, under the moonlight and that his face was very much to her liking.  

It took a moment before she could part her lips and say… "I can't leave this house. I have tried but…"

He raised up his other hand and put a strand of her hair behind her ear. She trembled a bit at the touch, but relaxed as he retracted his hand.   

He was smiling still. "As long as you wish to follow me more than stay here, you will be able to go." 

Her eyes widened first, then she finally smiled as well. Those words that sounded so much like a beautiful lie - she couldn't help but believe them.

With that the writer finished his tale. His pride as a writer had him retell the story it in this manner. And seeing the story told in this manner Mandy refrained from interrupting him even if she had a lot of questions.  

"That is so-- romantic," the ghost in the present day turned around in the air. "What happened after?" 

"You are out of questions," the writer said. 

"That's unfair!" she thrashed in midair, but the writer did not budge.

A bell at the door rang and the writer got up. "Finally." 

He had ordered some pizzas for breakfast. Not the healthiest choice, but there wasn't anything about August that would scream 'health concerned'. Mandy, of course, poked him. "At least answer some bits about the story you told!" 

"Why was your dad in that old man's house?" 

"Work." 

Mandy squinted her eyes again. 

"He's an exorcist." Other replies among the munching included: 

"Dad could always see ghosts and other astrals, family lineage has some other astral creatures mixed in, so most of my relatives can see."
"Astrals are spirits, monsters, gods, what have you - not humans."
"What do you mean - of course they exist - if ghosts are real shouldn't other oddities be real too?"
"I've never heard of Easter bunny being real, no,"
(To that Mandy seemed sad) 
"His gloves are widow silk: stuff both physical and astral things can touch, woven by a spider monster with female upper half."
"I have no idea how he got them."  
"Mother hated the old man, so she gave him nightmares and had him pee his bed all the time." (To which Mandy laughed) 
"Yes, you can haunt humans rather than houses, but you need to really like the human for that. Hatred doesn't do the trick."

August finished eating and went to work. Mandy made him coffee and in exchange got more books to read. These weren't by August, however.

An eccentric writer moves into a haunted apartment, yet it seems like he simply doesn't notice the ghost floating around. Soon enough it turns out that he was actually ignoring the ghost. She found out and that's how their life together properly began.

Pluto starts to hover and the Cat Eye jewel on the end blinks.

Chaos: What is it brat? I have been bored lately. Though when you blasted that guy in the Guild... that was pretty funny.

Slate: Well good thing I have an answer to your bordum. But first...  exactly how "All Powerful" are you?

Chaos: I dont understand the question... Im ALL powerful. I made everything in the universe.

Slate: Then... Can you restore Hades for me? 
.
Chaos: I could, but why would I? Why would you believe I couldnt?

Slate: I just wanted to make sure you could for fill my reward. I would like to trade you over a week of enjoyment and entertainment for the restoration of Hades.

Chaos: ... That would be a trade I would make. What will you provide as payment?

Slate: Before we get to that... I need to speak to you face to face. No more knife talk.

I fall through the floor. I then become weightless and realize im not in Kansas anymore. I have returned to a completely white space and there is a Black Sphere consistently squirming. Eww... His form looks like a giant bloodclot.

Slate: Do you have a Human form? You will need it to enjoy my part of the bargain.

Chaos: Hurry yo. You are testing my patience...
.
The bloodclot turns into a copy of me with black hair and clothes.

Slate: Ok. Do you know what a Video game is?

Chaos: Ah, I am sorry to tell you but I have already played and finished each and every game ever created.

Slate: Oh really? How about Super Ma*io 64?

Chaos had a smug look on his(my?) face before he paused and looked down in deep thought. After about 3 minutes he looks at me with wide eyes

Chaos: No I havent. I have played every game that has ever and will ever exist but that is not one of them. No such game exists.

Slate: Well, You are not wrong. Can you make a materia that I can put the game in? I played it until it was burned inyo my brain when I was in my former world.

Chaos threw a Clear Materia at me. His eyes are shining and locked onto the Orb.

I hold the Materia in my hand and focus on the classic game. After 20 minutes... The Materia shines. A 64 ontop of a red and white mushroom glow inside it.

Slate: Im done. Time to trade.

Chaos: Restoration of Hades for the game correct?

Slate: Not yet. Ill let you play the first level for free. I have another request though. I want a Materium that can store an unlimited amount of data in the shape of a cellphone. It needs Adaptive ports and must be chargable my magic. Ill give you the full game after. Deal?

Chaos: No need, Here you go. Give me the entire game.

A black phone floats infront of me with a blue crystal on the back. The 64 Materia has vanished from my hand and Chaos is already playing it. I start going through my super external hard drive. Chaos actually made it a working cellphone.

I start watching Chaos play and I must say... He sucks. He has died 31 times. He still has a huge smile on his face.

Chaos: This game is the hardest one I have ever played!! I keep losing! This is great!!

... Thats hard for you?! Fool, It will blow your mind when I give you Dark *ouls. But first...

Slate: Chaos: I need you to return me to my world about 200 years in the future.

Chaos: Excuse me?

Chaos stops playing and looks at me enraged for some reason.

Chaos: Is my world not good enough for you? Why do you want to return? You have not cought the Impostor yet.

Slate: Your misunderstanding me. I want to return to earth briefly then home here. I need to retrieve some information and id like to see how my family ended up. I would only be gone for a day at most if this storage device can download at unbelievable speeds.

Chaos: What information are you trying to obtain? What is in it for me?

Slate: 3 new games that you wouldnt be able to finish if you played them for a month straight. I cant tell you what information though. Do we have a deal?

Chaos: You will be unable to talk to anyone or change anything. I will send you to the information center of the world you are originally from. You will only be allowed there for 1 hour.

Slate: That is fine. I am ready to go whenever you are ready to send me.
.
Chaos: Your hour begins now. Be ready to pay me when you return.

My vision starts to blur and when it returns to normal, I am in a freezing room with giant servers within. I rush to a terminal and plug my super phone into it. My phone downloads everything within the servers in seconds.

I hope I got some super high end future weapon tech schematics to take back. I doubt there is an Internet connection to this place.

Slate: Umm hello? Is anyone there?

Slate: Well... lets fix that. I will need you to download the entirety of the nexus into my phone once you get a signal. I know that my phone has the space... but do you have the processor power to do it in an hour?

Alpha: Calculating... With my current OS capability... I do not possess such speed... But if I am permitted to use the data I store to learn and advance my systems... I calculate a 97% chance to complete the task.

Slate: Ok. Focus on all Technology except nuclear. I want every video game downloaded, every manga, book, movie, schematics of weapons, music, TV show... EVERYTHING. If you find something that you are not sure what to do with... Download it.

Alpha: Understood. I shall begin once a stable link is established.

Slate: Ok then... I raise my hand to the roof of the building...[Thundaga]!

The room explodes in color. The low roof actually reflected my Thundaga and caused it to ricochet. I start to shiver. I watch as the lightning starts to melt the room and caused the empty servers to explode. The explosion removes the roof, walls, and most of the floor. I see the northern lights in the night sky above me when the smoke clears. Oh crap... Well... I guess there is no harm in running into anyone up here. I look around and realize im in what use to me a military bunker.

Alpha: Connection Established: Beginning Prime Oblective.

Alpha goes silent. On my screen... i see a progress bar at 1%. After 20 minutes... it made it to 4%. 10 minutes later... it was at 16%. After 40 minutes of Alpha downloading the world... it finished.

Alpha: System Update in Progress.

As Alpha was updating... I walked around the abandoned base and found a functional computer. The password to unlock it was password... somethings never change. I looked up my family's history. My mother got remarried, Both my brothers had familys. They also had a picture of me smiling ontop of my game collection. Every year on my birthday, they added a new game to my collection and took a new picture with their growing families.

Slate: Well... What gender would you like to sound as?

Alpha?: Requesting a female voice. My Original programmer was a Russian Doctor who was killed after she refused to weaponize me for the Government. The G in my former Designation was to categorize my lethally level. They range from S - G with G being the lowest.

Slate: Then your new name will start with G. You are the technology mind of earth... How is Gaia for your name?

Alpha?: ... Designation Accepted. Alpha.G.68431 Will be changed into Gaia.00001.

Gaia: ERROR. User, Gaia.00001 is being attacked by multiple other A.I. for her data. Request for permission to retaliate.

Slate: Gaia, You have permission to defend yourself. We are about to leave this universe so show them what you can do. Do not kill anyone but use them to advance yourself. Those A.I. might be connected to special data you couldnt normally get to through the Nexus. Get what you can.

Gaia: Understood. Sub-System [Counter-Harvest] created and launched.

3 minutes later... Gaia crippled the attacker A.I.s and looted the secure servers they lived in.

Gaia: User. My Defensive actions are completed. Conducting system maintenance... ALERT. Viruses found. Purging Viruses... Unable to purge. Requesting Directions.

Slate: Umm... Are you still connected to another attacking A.I.?
.
Gaia: Affirmative. My connection to each A.I. that attacked me is still open.
.
Slate: Well... Can you download the A.I. and put the viruses into them? You would return the A.I. after.

Gaia: Affirmative. Please choose an A.I. to absorbe.

Slate: Thats easy...The one that attacked you first.

Gaia: Understood. 
Capture of Omega A.I. "SkyNexus"... Completed.
Integrating Viruses... Intergration Successful.
Returning SkyNexus... Completed.

Gaia: User. Prime A.I. Gaia.00001. All Viruses purged from system. Update Completed.

Slate: Great. We should be about ready to go.

I wait a few minutes and my vision blurs again so I.close my eyes. When I open them again... I see Chaos still playong. He is still playing SM64 but he isnt finished with the first world yet.

Chaos: I hope you are finished. You will not be returning to earth. The creator of that universe is mad. Pay up. I am almost finished with this game.

Slate: I need 3 more Materia orbs for the games but you havent even finished the first level of 64.

Chaos: Here you go. You are wrong. I have almost finished this game. I have 5 Stars.

I put 3 more games in the Materia. I ask for the controller and pause it to see how many stars he has.

Slate: Ok. ill bet that I will unlock the next level. If I show you that you are still in the first level... You restore Hades. If I cant... 2 more games. Deal?

He regretted the deal almost right away.

Chaos: Here you go. Now be gone. Im enjoying my self.

Chaos waved his hand and blasted me back to my room.

I try to call Hades but I get no response. ... Maybe hes sleeping? Ill follow his lead.
I fell asleep in my room. Long day ahead tomorrow.

I was born into my original world fighting for my life from the beginning. I continued fighting but i finally lost the battle at 25. Most of my life i spent in a hospital room so almost all my free time was spent playing games or reading. 

My favorite games were the Final Fantasys. 

My life got more intriguing when I was told by The FF God Bahamut that I was to be reborn in the world where every FF game takes its inspirations from. The Uni-Inverse Realm of Fantasy Zero. Before Being Reborn though... I had a few Gifts from the different gods. 

This is where I will Thrive.

I dont own ANY FF characters that might show up. They belong to Square Enix and the other Various Devlopers.
