Existem muitas referências sutis a mitologia, livros, quadrinhos, filmes, RPG e até videogames. Como por exemplo a princesa prometida, um clássico da sessão da tarde.
E antes de começar a ler é bom saber que diferente da maioria dos livros de fantasia lançados recentemente, o livro que tem em mãos possui começo, meio e fim.

When morning arrived, Penny was up and ready with the books. Reading as she held a quill in her hand, making star marking which she felt to be important. All the books which Damien read to be about vegetables were nothing but a book filled with the secrets of the white witches. It seemed like they had created a series of books which in the name of vegetables when in truth each of it had its topic which was completely different from the normal eye. 
Every word and every line that was marked in the pages was important. There was an explanation on how to create a ritual, how to spill magic on the lands, how to draw out blood and track a person out. It was almost a treasure that Damien had stumbled upon when he had gone to the councilman's house. 
For a man to collect it, did it mean he knew about it? Damien had told her on how the man was responsible for deaths that took place in the council, was it supposed to be shared with the witches. If the witches did know about the existence of the falsified books, then there was a higher chance of them stealing the books for their own use but maybe they did see the books but they never got to read the actual content that was present. 
Turning the pages, she continued to read but there were a few things that didn't make sense. At times she had to go look up another book to understand what it meant. Penny was sure that these books were written by the very same witches who were burnt here before the church was rebuilt. It was a mystery how the secret room survived the fire. She read the lines,
'One of the very first few magic we happened to tap to find about the forbidden magic was 'harvesting energy'. We started by placing objects we considered to be dear to us, throwing it in the fire which was replaced to something else. And every time we pushed forth with the minimalistic ritual, it was aimed for a higher energy source for a greater need until the time where we replaced the objects with animals.'
Penny could only imagine that in time, the witches had moved from using animals to bigger beings like humans. She studied the transformation figures, the circles, and lines, trying to understand what each of them represented. Some lines formed to a triangle while others were small that were placed around the circle, but there was always a circle. 
Hearing the knock on the door, she turned towards the door to find it was Lady Maggie who had arrived at the door. 
"Good morning, Penelope," she greeted her, "Oh, are you busy?" she asked seeing the books that surrounded Penny on the bed, "What are you reading?" she asked curiously as she stepped into the room. Damien had gone down to greet one of the councilmen who had come to the mansion to take up the report about what happened to the dead councilman. 
"Good morning, Lady Maggie. Uh, just some books on vegetables," she shrugged her shoulders like it was nothing important. 
"Hmm? Are you both planning weddings so that you both can play husband and wife?" Lady Maggie asked with one glance at the books and then looking back up at Penelope who looked red, "I take that my assumption was wrong."
"..." Penelope didn't add any words so that she wouldn't add any fuel to the existing fire of words. 
"Well, I came here hoping you would like to accompany me to one of the tea party. Don't worry it is completely safe and with only ladies who are attending it. So Damien doesn't have to be jealous," but Lady Maggie doubted that Damien was the jealous type, "You don't have to agree out of compulsion. Come if you are free," said the Lady. 
It wasn't that she had any specific plans today and Damien had been busy since the wake of the early morning of the day with the councilmen coming and going as it seemed that the man who was killed was an important person. They were holding a funeral for him soon to pay the last respects. 
"I wouldn't mind," Penny answered to receive a pleasant smile where the lady appeared to be delighted. 
"Okay, then. Shall I see you down at eleven?" Lady Maggie asked to receive a nod. Returning back the nod, Penny saw Lady Maggie step out of the room. 
"Cooking for Damien," Penny spoke under her breath before going back to read the inscription as there was plenty of time for the clock to strike eleven. 
When the clock did strike eleven, Penny had got ready by then and she turned to look at Damien who appeared to be reading the notes she had made. With the information that was hidden to others, she had written a few things about the circles and the lines but a lot more about the moon signs as that was something Damien had been interested in earlier. He laid on his side on the bed. 
"Do you think this is okay?" she asked him, her hand touching her hair so that it didn't stick out strangely. 
"Yes, it looks fine," he said without looking up from the sheets and having his eyes on the parchments which she had written. Penelope sighed. It wasn't like people would take in her appearance badly as Penny knew she was pretty. With a pretty face and expensive dress, also with the person who she was going, she knew no one would question her but females were always spiteful. 
His sister Maggie had told that she was inviting her because it had only females in there which made her wonder if Damien was the jealous type. Wanting to test, she said, 
"Oh, I wonder who I will meet there. Did you know before I was brought here, I often heard about how the servants who worked in the sheds were handsome. There was also a book apparently but I wasn't well versed when it came to reading back then."

"Who touched you?" he asked, his eyes brooding down at her and when she didn't answer, his voice thundered in the room, "WHO?"

The butler who stood near the wall spoke shakily, "Sir, it was Mr. Reverale," Damien's face turned sour, his jaw ticking in anger he turned his face to the side where the butler stood behind.

"Bring the man here."

"N-now?" stuttered the butler. It was the time of night.

Damien who hadn't broken his eye contact with the girl in front of him, pushed his hand against the wall which now rested beside his beautiful girl's head. Turning his body, he first looked at his butler who had his head bowed. With great courage, the butler came to meet his Master's eyes, "Do you have any other better time? Or should it be after I wring your neck?" Damien asked calmly tilting his head. Not a second later, the butler ran out of the room to return back with Mr. Reverale after twenty minutes.

"Damien, are we having a late tea party?" Mr. Reverale came to greet but the master of the house had other plans. Spotting the knife that was stuck to the apple on the table, he reached for it to pull it out.

Just as Mr. Reverale went to exchange a handshake with him, Damien took hold of his hand to place it on the table. In one swift movement as if he were chopping onions, he chopped the four fingers of the man off his hand making him yelp and cry in pain.

"No one touches what is mine. I am sure this will remind you the next time you even think about touching her," sighed Damien as if he were tired of telling people to keep their dirty hands off his belongings.

Meet Damien Quinn, a pureblooded vampire who is a complete narcissist, brash with his words and stingy even though he is rich who haggled when he bought a slave from the black market.

On the other hand, meet Penelope who believes she is a 'guest' for a few days at the Quinn as she is intent on escaping from the odd vampire who needs therapy.

Vampires are divided into two. The pure-blooded are the royals with red eyes and the other is the humans that turned into a vampire by the royals.
Pure-blooded vampires have individual powers that only they could have. Their power based on their blood, it could be blood turning into a sharp weapon and stubborn as a shield while ordinary vampire could also use their blood like poison.
And there are some rare cases that a pure-blooded vampire can neutralize anything back to zero.

A cold wind was blowing out of the north, and it made the trees rustle like living things. Six shadows stands overlooking the landscape.
Milton sighed in relief, they finally saw another color aside from their dark cloaks and whiteness of the snow. They saw the huge Celtic tree in the center of three mountain peaks reached high up into the sky. Their grey and white peaks were hidden by a layer of clouds. Far below, a thick forest of trees clung to the base of the mountains. Their usual greens and browns now covered in whites and translucent blues.
The Celtic Tree of Life, a representation of harmony and balance in nature. The tree leaves are somehow lush and green, very different from the cold winter snow, a contrasting color is quite noticeable. 
They had been riding north of the kingdom, for almost five day and another two to reach the Iltown, a small village from the border of Tasea and Nidian kingdom. Each day has been worse than the other, food started to get less and spoil, they even needed to start hunting wild animals.
A cold wind was blowing out of the north, and it made the trees rustle like living things.
Iltown, a small village. It was located between the Vampire and Human territory, the Nidian, and the Tasea Kingdom. Established on the bottom of a mountain, the village of Iltown is home to people who were remnants of the last war between the vampire lord and the humans. 
"Let's go." the commander instructs the company.
Milton can't help but admire their commander in front.
Sir Kolvanismir Rauveron, the oldest son of some lord in the Tasea Kingdom. He was a handsome youth of seventeen, red curly hair hangs over a charming face. His eyes are shining golden eyes that sometimes look intimidating but generally smiling. Soft skin gracefully compliments his hair and gave you the feeling of a good upbringing. Graceful and sharp like a sword.
Milton, as a merchant hired by the palace to guide the knight in travelling, seeing a noble knight withstand harsh weather in the north, is already commendable. Knights are usually the Lords' sons so riding for a long time makes them dismiss the idea of traveling.
At the entrance of the village where a signboard stand-alone, a woman with sunken cheeks and empty eyes was slumped to the ground with a child on her arms hugging the dead body. Milton shook his head as he looks down at the woman. He tried to give his flask but the woman didn't move even though he poured the water on her mouth. It seems like she was just waiting for her death.
She doesn't even wear winter clothes, just a piece of sack. Her lips blue from cold but not trembling as if the winter is negligible. He silently prayed for the two.
They scan at the place. Aside from the two, you can't find any other living being in here anymore.
The village itself looks eerie. With its gloomy wooden rooftops, blackened walls and murky woods, added by the snow that almost buried the whole village, Iltown has a ghostly atmosphere. Each house was once a home, a home belonging to a family and now there was only emptiness. But there was an odd sense of harmony as nature reclaimed what was theirs and resettled a balance.
You can't hear anything except the wind blowing around the deserted village. It's quiet and calm. Some doorways seem in relatively decent condition while others were destroyed and were indistinguishable from other collapsed walls. The village was truly a frightening sight.
The main attraction is in the far end of the village The Celtic Tree of Life behind it was the forest that the house where The Witch, Medeia inhabited. Iltown wasn't known for anything, except for the Celtic tree, a symbol of The Witch. It could be said that the whole village was the courtyard of the witch.
Leading the way Sir Kol and the other four royal guards entered the village. The village wrap in white from the snow. Milton, looked at the huge tree at the center. They got down from his mounted horse, awed at the tall Celtic Tree, right in front of them that thriving of life. 
Curving branches dangled from the tree, and a mishmash of flowers, which grew all over the place, adorned the otherwise jade view. A mixture of bird song and critters reverberated through the air, and in harmony with the tree. It added life to the whole area of snow.
The surrounding area of the tree is abundant of spring colors aside from white, seems like there's an invisible barrier from the tree to the outside.
Sir Kol, with a set of winter clothes, the first one to step over the green grass. For a moment nothing was heard from him and he just stand there looking at the tree.
Milton followed his eyes and saw, on the thick branches of the tree of life, a young girl with curly brown hair and pale skin stood staring down at their group, her gloved hands settled on the white cat on her arms. She met his eyes, she whirled and disappear in the shadow.
"Sir Kolvanismir?" asks the royal guard on his back. Not sure what to do as he watches the knight inside the Celtic tree area.
"Come on," Kol said as he leads the group through the village and into the woods. The forest was colossal, spacious and archaic. Enough light shimmered through to see the path.
Milton followed the knight inside, without question. His loyalty to their king was without question, he can risk his own life for his majesty. The king needed the witch, they were task to get the witch into an agreement to go with them to the palace.
The current King was bedridden and can't see. A palace physician can't distinguish how the King suddenly becomes like that, so the physician recommended that they should find a witch for help.
But the problem is that the upcoming Mabon week, the witches' thanksgiving. The witches in the Kingdom is either they already traveling or just about to go. Mabon festival is an important event for witches and finding a witch this month is impossible.
But the witch in this scarce village was different. She was known as an eccentric witch. A witch that doesn't belong to any organization yet strong enough to destroy a kingdom.
Medeia The Witch. She wasn't called the witch because she's a witch. She was called that way because she embodied the word witches. She maybe not the leader of the Witches' Association, but she was one of the first witches that ever existed. That could only mean that she was one of the people who lead the kingdom of what is it today.
At the end of the path, they see the mound of the witch.
Milton felt the sudden movement of the air around him and instinctively move aside. A swing came from his right, a young girl suddenly appears, swinging another arm towards him. He dodge again and tried to land a hit but instead a long sword with sheath on was attacked by Milton.
Milton felt his hand numb from the impact and frown at the knight that was suppose to be  in front but now in the middle of them, preventing Milton to attack the young girl.
"What are you doing?"
"Don't fight."
"She attacked first."
"Doesn't matter."  he instructed the guards that sword's already out and ready to fight, "don't fight no matter what."
As the knight said those words, the girl leaped towards him and show a series of combat using her quick arms and swift foot. The movements are both odd and effective, very different from a swords' fight in the palace. The girl didn't use any weapon aside the momentum of her arms and foot, making the knight step back to avoid it.
Kol's fought of many battles but none of them the same as this girl. In a fight you use weapon to attack and then quick step to dodge but to the girl she uses both. She uses both of her arms and foot to attack and avoid. 
The knight keep dodging the girl, but ended up being hit. It didn't hurt at all but the area it hit was uncomfortable. Kol observes her movement, and noticed the series of action. Step forward right arm, left leg back. Left arm swing then step forward. Feels like she's dancing but dependent on how the opponent respond.
Kol looked around, the royal guards can't even see an opening to engage in the fight because they afraid that instead of help they might harm the knight.
Milton look at the royal guards who just standing there doing nothing. Are they not going to help? He thought, they have the numbers why not use it to their advantage? Milton took out his knife and throw towards the back of the girl, he smiled at his sneak attack only to find the girl dodge it easily.
Kol saw the girl's lips move upward and he felt numbing pain towards his lower abdomen.
Dmn merchant. He swore and killed the merchant in his mind. He grab the knife as he breathe deeply and took it out. Blood spills out.
For the slightest moment, the girl stilled. It wouldn't be noticed except if you're observing your opponent. Kol grab the opportunity and grab her hanging thin wrist and pulled her up. Kol towered over the girl. But it didn't stop the girl to give him another a kick. The kick wasn't strong but the area it hit was the wound from the knife, causing him to lose his hold of her.
An explosion was heard followed by smoke fill that his vision, instinctively covering his nose with the cloak. "Cover—" even before he finishes his sentence, he heard them cough and a series of body collapsing on the ground. He's the only one left.
"No humans are allowed here." a clear and enigmatic voice was heard.
He looked around, swords still on the sheath. He didn't want to harm the girl, after all, they needed the help of the witch. Harming someone within the vicinity of the witch could result in consequences.
He scans his surroundings, listening to any sound he could pick up and looking for the slightest disturbance in the smoke. When he saw it, he steps forward and docks as swing his legs to the ground, he hit something followed by a thudding sound.
"Ugh."
Immediately the smoke around him cleared. He saw the young girl on the ground trying to get up. "My apologies." He tried to help the girl but was rejected, he explained, "we're not here for trouble."
The girl's brown eyes were guarded. She had tree leaves that tangled at her long dark curls, but even so, she was beautiful in a way that made the prince keep looking. He smiled to show her that he meant no harm. "We're here because we need the help of the witch."
"The witch is not here. Go away." The enigmatic voice said again. Kol searched for the source of the voice but was surprise to see the white cat. The white cat, while licking its front paw look up at Kol with its green eyes.
The cat is talking.
And he shouldn't be that surprise to see a talking cat, after all he's in a world that Vampires and Witches exist but an actual pet is talking. Who wouldn't be surprise if your pet in the house talks? He had cat in the palace and it feels incredibly adorning and weird to see a cat talks. If he didn't know what he's dealing with, he'd lost consciousness.
"Are you surprise to see a familiar?"
"No. I'm just surprise to see a familiar talk. My apologies and it's my honor to have heard you voice, my lord." He bowed his head respectfully and half kneeled.
"Haha." The cat laugh as its eyes full of curiosity. "This is interesting~"
The cat come closer at the half-kneeling Kol, brush its whole body on his ankle as if asking him to pet it. When he was about to touch the cat, it leaped and went directly to the young girl, curled its tail around the girl's neck and settle itself  to her shoulder.
"Ada, this is a rare sight." Amused he continue, "The Crown Prince dressed as a Knight is kneeling in front of us."
Kol's eyes widened and his smile froze. "Crown Prince Kolvanismir Rauveron, firstborn of Kolvanismir IV. Holder of the Royal scepter and the ruler of the Tasea Kingdom. We humbly welcome you to the Witch's humble home."

The story began in 1962, in Salem city, where the series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft.

The Traders, a group of witch hunters spy on people who are believed to be witches work so hard to gather evidence which could lead to an arrest vowed to rid the city of witches. 

The Traders gathered into their biggest based of operation called "Stair." Every trader awaits , seated in the big stadium and eager to find out what is the gathering all about. 

Greg, the announcer, went into the podium and started talking " It is a new day for us as our new leader has been elected. We will now be organized, More united, and stronger than ever!" 

The crowd cheered, as a man with a diagonal face scar comes out in the podium. (The crowd murmured and appeared to be familiar with him)
A few moments passed and they have confirmed they knew who he was.

Valyk, the most ruthless and new leader of the witch hunters has finally spoken "I would like to thank everyone who provided me with their trust. I will make sure that this city will be rid of witches. They are the devil, they curse our child, our family members and they must all die!" the crowd cheers once more. 

Valyk did not waste any time and executed the traders plan to get rid of witches in the city. 

Sarah good, one of the firsts, was accused of witchcraft when Abigail and Elizabeth, claimed to be bewitched under her hand. The young girls asserted they had been bitten, pinched, and otherwise abused. Sarah was immediately arrested by the traders and was immediately put into trial. 

When Valyk, preciding as a judge asked Abigail and  Elizabeth who bewitched them, they shouted "It was her, Sarah she is a witch, we have scars from bewitching and we can prove it. The trial went on and Sarah was continuously denying their claim and begs for the jury to let her out. Unfortunately, no one believed her, she was sentenced to death and was burned at stake as a punishment for crime  front of the crowd. Everyone can hear her agony on fire while Valyk said "This is what happens to the demon allies, we will execute the all and I say to you "We will let them all burn!" 

Meanwhile, Bridget, a mother of less than a year old baby was into hiding with others as the news of the new leader of the traders will work hard to find and execute all witches. 
"We've got to be prepared. This is our only chance of survival" said Flora, one of the witches. 

"How do you expect us to fight their bows, anti magical objects and guns. I'm so scared. I think we are all going to die!" said, Charlotte, a 10-year old girl clinging to her mother. 

"I don't expect all of us will survive but we've got to worry about our children. We need to find a safe haven in order to save them." Bridget said. 

The witches gathered and talked about their escape plan. Soon, an army to the traders will reach them from the capital. 

The witches argued and didn't want to get into the plan with one another. Another witch said "We should fight back and use our powers to destroy the traders" 

Alina, one of the coven's with said, even with all their powers, not all of them will survive if Valyk finds them. She suggested that the witches go into the Mountain called "Trident" where magic was believed to have been born. 

As the witches were servants of nature, they sought nature's help and decided to get into trident Mountain hoping to be safe from any trader. People in Salem are often to afraid to get near the mountain as they believed it is the witches source of power. 

Little did they know, Alina was working with Valyk, in hopes to be safe from execution, she traded information about the witchs' plans and hide out. 

A few days passed, A storm came, Bridget's baby was sick. She's trying to feed her with milk and washing up her baby's head with a wet towel to ease the fever. Her baby was crying loud. 

As they slept, the traders slip into the mountain travelling for days to sneak into the witches cave in trident mountain to kill them all. 

The traders begun to use knives to slit their throats and stabs the witches while on sleep. Some including Bridget manages to run into a nearby forest as planned in case the traders find them. 

It was a long chase and the witches were exhausted. Bridget hands over her baby to Kate, one of the older witches and said While crying, she told Kate" Whatever happens, take care of my baby."

Kate replied and said "No let's go and run, you can take care of the baby and together we will go into hiding"

Bridget begged "Please, we don't stand a chance if we don't separate ways. I'll do what I can to hold them off. "

Kate run off with the baby while Bridget fought the traders with her powers. She manages to kill some of them but she felt a bow at her back and fell. 

The crowd murmurs as Bridget wakes up and was hand cuffed in front of the Trader's camp. Valyk is sitting in the court area ready to precide. 

"You were caught using magic and killed some of our men. You are an ally of the devil and you must be judged!"

Bridget replied "I would rather die alone than to see my kind destroyed by all of you." 

Valyk replied and said "Then we you will die. Bring her to the stake. Two of the traders held her up to the stake and made sure that she's tied up and unable to escape. 

Valyk started the fire but even before the fire reaches her shoulder she manages to cast a spell so powerful fueled by her own death, she made her daughter invulnerable. Screaming in Agony, she casts a spell for her daughter be able to channel all of the witches powers burned at the stake making her daughter, the most powerful witch that ever walked Salem city. She cursed the traders and told them that her daughter will come for all of them. The fire reaches her head and the screaming finally stopped. Valyk vowed to find her daughter before she's old enough to fight.....

So apparently, my father Kusanagi Seijiro is from a clan of specialized demon hunters who somehow managed to make a deal with a group of people called the Onmyouji to seal the essence of the reincarnating demons that they fought into their bloodline so they would no longer plague the land. And because of this bloodline, the males born into the Kusanagi clan are born with the souls of demons and the bodies of humans. The females on the other hand are the complete opposite of the males. They're born with the bodies of demons and souls of humans. Due to them having demonic bodies, they tend to have a somewhat demonic nature and try to destroy everything that they can. This lead to the tradition of the Kusanagi clan killing every female newborn before their powers awaken and they end up slaughtering everything.

When my father was young, he suffered from an injury that left him with amnesia and had to be brought to the city in order to treat him. Seeing that my father was more on the intellectual side and not the demon slaying badass spectrum, my grandfather had him move in with a nice family and returned to his clan. He also left behind several counter measures to ensure that if my father sired a daughter they would be... taken care of. 

'Thank god that I didn't reincarnate as a woman.'

So with my father's lost knowledge about his background except for his father's name that the family he was staying with told him about, he went on with his life eventually becoming a well respected scientist and banging a hot British super model of a wife and producing the child genius ME. 

Oh and there was something about my father having a brother who had two kids name Takeru and Kiseki. Male and female twins, one with the body of a human and soul of a demon, the other with the soul of a human and body of a demon. Funny enough it was thanks to my father's brother being too much of an incompetent idiot that lead to the downfall of our clan.

'Got some strange Uchiha vibes there.'

Anyway, it turns out that on the day of her birth, Kiseki went berserk and her demonic magic ended up killing a lot of people. After that their father tried to kill her on numerous occasions but being the incompetent fool that he was he failed to completely end her life and instead chose to lock her away in an underground box within a small shrine made of anti-magic material (Don't know what the hell that is) on a mountain deep in the forests for numerous years.

And surprise surprise, it didn't end well. Long story short, Takeru found her, taught her what it was like to interact with people on the outside world, then left to train to become a demon hunter or something which made her feel lonely which lead to her becoming mentally unstable, manifesting her powers, and devouring the entire village.

And that's how the Kusanagi clan was destroyed by one little girl.

'Honestly, for a clan of demon hunters they suck. They had a literal demon under their village for years and not once did any of them come up with a contingency plan in case said demon escaped their holdings.'

In Jun's eyes, if they didn't plan for such an eventuality then they didn't deserve his sympathy. 

The only parts of the story that interested him was the fact that his uncle begged Orochi who turns out to be over 100+ years old and his ancestor, to kill Kiseki but was rejected. Oh! and that there were demons capable of reincarnating into the bodies of humans until they died along with the clan.

The story also explains why he didn't feel much when Yoruichi tried to pressure him with her reiatsu. His demon soul and demonic power are harmonized to the point that he might as well be a full demon.

Not to mention that he had the bloodline of the demon knight Sparda, the bloodline of a clan of human demon hunters, the actual soul of a demon fused with a reborn human, a enhanced human body capable of transforming into a demon, and a demonic sword capable of slicing open space stored in his right arm.

He was essentially the perfect fusion between a human and demon. The perfect half breed. 

It was only after a while that Jun vaguely remembered watching an anime with these characters in them. Though it was unfortunate that he didn't read the light novel and had limited information on the series. Besides some names and weapons, he didn't remember anything about the series as it was never truly memorable to him. The only thing that stood out was how weak Takeru was before obtaining his relic eater. That meant that for the next ten years, Takeru would be useless.

"So what do I call you? Ancestor? Great Great Great grandfather or Alpha granddad?"

Sitting in a small room with Orochi and Takeru, Jun rested his cheek on his knuckle and stared at the old man who implanted vampire cells into his body to sustain his youth and live an unnaturally long life.

"Orochi is fine." He said clearly not amused by Jun's joke.

"Orochi it is." He smiled.

"So... how did you become a student of Kariya?" Orochi asked.

"I wanted someone to teach me swordsmanship so my family hired him." He replied.

"Oh? Even if that was the case its impossible for someone like Kariya to name you his successor without you being fairly talented with the sword." 

Shrugging his shoulders Jun smiled lightly.

"What about him? Why did you take him in as your disciple?"

Up until this point Takeru had remained silent and unable to talk as he was still processing the revelation of having another family member besides his sister and ancestor alive.

"He begged me to teach him swordsmanship and in my drunken state I agreed." Orochi explained.

"I see... By the way, what is your style of swordsmanship called?" Jun asked somewhat curious of his clan's sword technique.

"The double edged style." He answered.

"Double edged style?" Jun repeated.

"The Kusanagi clan developed two different sword styles in order to combat both humans and demons. The Doubled Edged Style was created in order to fight against demons whereas the True Light Style was developed in order to fight other individuals." 

"Two styles for two different opponents eh? How amusing."

When he heard Jun mock their clan's technique Orochi's brows furrowed slightly. 

"You seemed unfazed by the revelation of having demons roam the earth." 

Smiling at the comment, Jun replied. "Well its like you said, they died with the clan didn't they? So its not like they can come and make trouble for me."

"While that may be true... If you or Takeru here ever have a daughter... You will have to kill her or risk being hunted down by the inquisition."

"The inquisition?" Jun said confused by the name.

"A secret organisation created to combat magical disturbances in the world... though they mostly hunt witches." Orochi explained patiently. 

"Witches? You mean like people with magical powers?"

Shaking his head, Orochi proceeded to explain that witches were a different species that had long warred with mankind and eventually lost. In the wake of their defeat, the witches were nearly forced to extinction with only a few able to pass on their abilities to their children. He also explained that witches can be of both genders and can be born from the ordinary humans. The Inquisition's job is to regulate these witches with anti-magic weaponry. Some members of the Inquisition are chosen by sentient weapons known as relic eaters and are able to fight much stronger witches.

"Well... putting that aside, what happened to this cousin of mine who destroyed our clan?"

"Hmm... If I remember correctly, the inquisition captured her and are currently experimenting on her immortal body." Orochi answer unfazed by his descendant's predicament.

"WHAT!!"

Throwing his chair to the floor a frazzled Takeru stood up with anger and shock written all over his face.

"What do you mean experimented on!"

"Oi!" Putting his finger to his lip, Jun indicated for the boy to quieten down.

"You!!"

"Takeru." Orochi suddenly called out.

"Leave."

"M-master I-

"Leave." He repeated.

Lowering his head, the emotional young boy bowed to his master and gave Jun a rage filled look before turning around and leaving.

Once the door closed and his body disappeared from sight, Jun and Orochi resumed their conversation.

"So... what's this about an immortal body?" 

Sighing at the question, Orochi went on to give him an explanation. He didn't know why, but for some reason... this boy had an aura about him that made Orochi feel that he wasn't talking to a child, but an equal.

"*Sigh*... Remember how I told you that our clan sealed the essence of demons in our bloodline?"

"Mmm..."

"For the females, their demonic bodies are actually just the reincarnated demons that our clan slayed given human form. Once their demonic magic gets out of control their body changes more to resemble a demon. But Kiseki's demon body... was special. Her body was that of a reincarnated demon called Hyakki Yakou. A demon that was said to become stronger after each death and incarnation. By the time it was reincarnated as Kiseki's body, it had gained the ability to infinitely  regenerate itself making Kiseki basically immortal."

'Basically immortal eh?'

"Can't she turn it off?" Jun asked.

"I don't know the specifics but what I do know is that Hyakki Yakou has a mind of its own. Even if Kiseki wanted to die... for its own survival... it wouldn't let her." For some reason Orochi's expression was filled with pain every time he talked about the Hyakki Yakou, but as it wasn't his place, Jun never said anything about it.

God sent out his Divine Messenger to find a soul worthy of his experiment and in comes our MC.

Watch as an average dude deals with the craziness of living in an anime world where the entire planet is constantly put at risk because of plot.


Constance glared out the window at the city below, winking lights mocking her as the tiny seed of power she'd managed to salvage, the teensy part she'd kept well hidden against the fear this day might come, whimpered its fear inside her. The Lovely Witches might have thought they defeated her, but she wasn't done, wasn't out of the game. With this seed she could build her magic anew, stolen from others, taken from those less worthy. Constance Cooper would rise again and when she did, they would be sorry.
Even more so, the witches of this wretched place. They kept her waiting. She wasn't accustomed to that, though she was certain she knew why. The loss of the Island's leadership surely had put her at a disadvantage in the eyes of the mainlanders. But she wasn't about to let that stop her now.
She had too much work to do, and she needed their help in the interim.
Constance turned at the sound of people approaching, her temper getting the best of her. "Finally. You've kept me waiting long enough." She hated how her tone sounded petulant, needy. Had she grown so weak, then? She had to do something about that. The small group of suit clad women and men observed her with clear disdain as the tall, gray haired woman stepped forward, her black power suit and perfect bun making her look more like the CEO of a corporation than a coven leader.
"You promised us the Island's magic. Why should we help you now?" Helen Decaro crossed her arms over her chest, expressionless face locked on Constance. They'd had an agreement. The Island's power added to the mainland for a seat at Helen's table. And a chance at bigger fish. It was no secret-at least, not to Constance-that this coven leader and her people's only goal was to unite all the covens into one giant territory ruled by them, naturally. Well, until Constance made her move and ousted Helen and took over.
She shut down the fear that might never happen now while murmurs of agreement from the others came out angry, frustrated. Though Helen showed nothing, as usual, the cold bitch.
Constance fought her own surge of anger, her sense of failure. She would rise again! To hell with them all. She was a survivor, a winner. This was just a setback and she would come back stronger for it.
"It's their fault!" Those damned Lovely Witches laid her low. "They brought her here. But I can help you. I know how to get rid of her once and for all." She was sure about that.
Helen didn't seem impressed. "I think you failed enough. It's time for a more direct approach."
What the hell did that mean? This was Constance's territory they were talking about. And she had every intention of getting it back. Helen turned away from Constance and it was a struggle not to feel lost and alone. Curse it, she would not show weakness. Not even to herself.
"Your assistance is no longer required." Helen had the audacity to speak over her shoulder, as though Constance were not worthy of direct address. "You can show yourself out."
Constance fumed into the boardroom's quiet as the witches filed out and left her there.
Fine. If that was how Helen wanted to play the game, she could have her petty, small time plans.
Constance had her own goals and dreams and no one, especially not some trumped-up child of a woman she defeated, was going to lay her low.
Reese MacDonald wouldn't live to regret coming home to Prince Edward Island if it was the last thing Constance accomplished.

When I moved to Prince Edward Island from Toronto I was like a fish out of water. Until I found Patti! And ever since we've been growing and experimenting and making things together.
I love witches. The fact that they embody dark and light, are goddesses but not afraid to get dirty, their connection with the Earth... it's all so lovely. Finding a creative partner with the same interests was a true blessing.
Patti and I developed the Lovely Witches Club so we could share our witchy passion with others. I think people enjoy LWC so much because we experiment not only creatively but spiritually, bringing meaning, strength and love to whatever we do. So far the journey has been incredible. In a relatively short time, we have gathered a global following of like-minded people looking to claim their power, make things and have fun.
I'm so excited to see where LWC goes. I just love the idea of clubs popping up around the world, gathering together to do what we've been doing here on the Island for the past eight years. And the magic has just begun, witches!

The Lovely Witches Club was born in 2009, from an idea Renee had that evolved into the very first Witches Ball three weeks later. Everything about LWC has been like that, it seems-gigantic but easy and effortless and absolutely fun. From the rapid growth of the concept to the intuitive deck to the community of like-minded half-assed witches we drew to us, LWC has taken on a life of its own over the years and has only ever been an amazing thing to be part of.
Our intent: to establish a community of fearless creators who loved to share with each other and the world. And we succeeded in so many ways. While we lost track of the Lovely Witches real world club for a few years when the platform we connected on changed and our ability to remain a group slipped away, in 2015 the spark of the club reawakened with a new Witches Ball and, when that happened, Renee came to me with an idea-to create a webseries based on what we'd built.
We had about six weeks to sort out scripts, a marketing plan and everything we needed to apply for funding for the show. And, like everything else LWC, it all came together in the most perfect way. Funding achieved (thank you, Telefilm!), we gathered an incredible cast and filmed for two weeks in August of 2016, creating the very first season of the series on a microbudget but with a macroheart.
And now, we're ready to start the show. This first novelette echoes the initial episode of the webseries. On March 21st the Lovely Witches Club Webseries will launch as will the omnibus collection of novelettes based on that show.
We're so excited to share what we've made, the culmination (so far!) of what started as a truly lovely idea and took on a life of its own. As the best ideas do.

Magic woke, stretched, yawned into the late afternoon and the peaceful corner of the wood where long it slept. But what prompted its return to awareness? Pink tendrils of power unwound from deep beneath the earth, the crushed needles and heavy moss. Seeking the source of its awakening with gentle curiosity.
The sun dappled trees gave way to dark orange light while dusk washed over the forest path.
Black robes caught the edges of the remaining illumination in flickers that seemed to absorb into the lush velvet folds, passing over shoulders and cowls, across the tips of the brooms they carried deeper into the quiet of the wood.
She led them, flashes of blue satin lining appearing as she moved, her narrow toed shoes gliding over the hard packed red earth, floating as if she barely touched the ground. And though the four figures moved quickly and with seeming purpose, nature didn’t shun them or their intrusion. If anything, they were welcomed, observed with ancient delight, sent on with the trill of birdsong and the chattering interest of watching squirrels.

After a few minutes Klaus and Elijah both brought in Divina. Watching this the witches undid all the spells that were placed on both Hayley and Rebecca.

As soon as they undid the spells Divina was returned to the witches. The witches expected Divina to resist a bit, but to their surprise Divina didn't do anything. She silently followed then inside 

After Divina went inside they released both Hayley and Rebecca. Max went to Hayley and cut near fingers to see if any of the witches were reacting. But none of them reacted, so he concluded that the spell that connected Hayley to Sophie was severed.

Hayley who had got cut yelled at Max, "Hey, be gentle. I'm a pregnant woman who's about to give birth and minute."

Max just simply ignored that and charged a ki ball in his hand and pointed to the witches, Sophie who saw this shouted, "You're still in our scared ground. You all might be safe if we're to fight, but you can't protect the child!"

Klaus who heard this held Max's hand and shook his head. Max lowered his hand and said to Sophie, "You might be safe today, but sooner or later I'll burn you."

After that Max and others left. While going back Klaus asked, "Do you think this is going to work?"

Max smiled and said, "We'll know it by morning. Leave some vampires if you wanna hear instant news."

Joshua who was walking behind everyone asks, "Why don't we kill all the witches and be done with this ritual thing?"

Max looked at Joshua and remembered that this was the guy who survived though out the series. Max smiled and said, "The problem is the next Supernatural Creature Convergence. If we do this then the other Supernatural creatures will vote against us after that they'll turn on the vampires, and I'm here too. So it'll fall on me as well, even if we can protect ourselves, but the people around us, or the people we care about, or it could even be our whole community will be free to kill."


Max paused for a second and continued, "So there must be a balance in things we do. That's why I planned this. After today those witches will wet their bed hearing Divina's name."

Klaus hearing this laughed, "Hahaha, how I wish to slaughter them all. Throughout centuries they've been a pain in my ass. I did my fair share of killing them, but with this idea, I feel that playing with them is way better than killing them. Hahahaha."

Elijah who was with Hayley asked Max, "So you plan to come to this decade's Supernatural Creature Convergence?"

Max looked at Elijah and said, "This time it if special. Everyone had noticed it. Werewolves are missing, and a lot of Alphas died recently. And these witches performing child sacrifices. Everyone had reached a new low this decade. And I also need to be there for my girlfriend."

Klaus who heard that Max was planning to come, mocked him, "Argent, are you sure you can come? I heard that your father disowned you. You can't come with your father representing the Argent family Hunters."

Max didn't mind Klaus mocking him, he was also reasonable, so Max thought for a moment and replied, "I was planning on coming with Dad. But now that I see that it'll be troublesome. I think I'll represent myself."

The Klaus, Elijah and Rebecca were dumbfounded hearing this. Rebecca said to him, "If you do that, you'll be in the same position as the first ones. We Originals, that Dracula and a few strong Were-creatures are the only ones that represents themselves. But the problem will come when you have to prove yourself in front of them."

Max simply smiled and said, "I don't think that'll be a problem. And if I'm not there I won't be able to protect my girlfriend."

Rebecca asked with curiosity, "Why would your girlfriend need protection?" Klaus, Marcel and Elijah listened in waiting for Max's reply.

Max said, "She's kinda special. And some people might not be able to keep their hands to themselves. I'll just make sure I keep others in line and show them their place."

They knew that there must be a secret so they didn't dwell in they matter. Klaus just said, "I would like to see who makes a move in our presence."

Max smiled and replied, "We'll just see what happens in future. For now let's wait for the good news."

In the Cemetery, Divina was made to stand in front of an altar which was blood red in color. Sophie who was with the other witches came in front of Divina and asked, "So, traitor, you finally decided to give in to your fate, huh?"

Divina just smiled at Sophie and said, "We'll see."

Sophie who saw the smile and Divina's face and the calm demeanor she's putting out, kinda a felt that there was something wrong with Divina, but she can't accurately pinpoint it.

When the time reached around 3:00 a.m. all the witches of the French Quarter gathered there. Sophie stood in front of everyone and said out loud, "Witches of the New Orleans, today we're about to complete the Harvest ceremony which was supposed to be ended over a year ago. Due to some unforeseen circumstances it was delayed, but not anymore. Today we offer our last and final sacrifice of the Harvest ceremony of this century. So let's not delay any further, as the time of ripe, we will end what we started."

*clap* *clap* *clap*

All of a sudden they all heard someone clapping. They all looked around I'm confusion, but soon they found that the person who was applauding was none other than Divina who was standing in front of the altar.

Agnes who was with the witches asked, "What do you think you're doing, Divina?"

Divina smiled at them and asked, "I wanna know what would happened if you were to sacrifice me who has no connection to the ancestors."

Hearing this most of the witches were shocked. Sophie shouted, "It's impossible to cut off the connection with the ancestors, unless you give up all your magic."

Agnes came beside Sophie said, "I can feel magic in your body. Which of stronger than out was before you went out."

Divina said, "I just re-cultivated my entire magic. Did you really think I was spending months of time enjoying outside."

Hearing this Agnes and Sophie closed their eyes and started chanting a spell together. After a few seconds they suddenly opened their eyes and Sophie said, "It's true. She has no trace of ancestral magic on her."

Sophie panicked and immediately turned to Agnes and asked, "What do we do now?"

Agnes thought about it and said, "We will still proceed as before. After the sacrifice we'll see what the ancestors say."

Sophie nodded and took a 30cm knife from the side and went towards Divina who was standing near the altar. After she reached Divina, Sophie placed the knife beside Divina's neck and asked, "Would you like to say something?"

Divina who saw that they still decided to kill her, thought for a moment and said, "I'll sorry for what I'm about to do. But after today I hope you'll forget about ever planning to kill me."

Hearing this most of the witches were confused as they looked at Divina, but then all of a sudden it happened.

Max gets himself killed in a truck accident.

But due to some unexpected circumstances he gets three wishes and was reincarnated in the world of Teen Wolf combined with other similar ones.

"Do you think he would stay?"
After Thunder's footsteps died away, Roland asked Nightingale.
"I don't know," Nightingale said slowly. "But he was serious about the last sentence he said."
Roland nodded in silence. Apart from Lightning, Roland wanted Thunder, the most extraordinary explorer in the Fjords, to stay also because of a personal reason, that was, Thunder could attract many Fjords people to Neverwinter, and he was the ideal man to command the fleet.
According to Agatha, the Red Mist probably had already permeated half of the Kingdom of Everwinter by now and might had also reached the border of the Kingdom of Wolfheart. Under such circumstances, he had to carry out his rescue operation from the coast and attack the demons from sides. Judging from the battle at the Northernmost Port, he believed that a powerful fleet was absolutely necessary to alleviate the stress of the army.
Although there were many merchant ships traveling back and forth, it was impossible to rely on them to fight the demons in the area covered with the Red Mist. Roland could definitely build several large ships, but what he urgently needed were sailors and a commander.
If Thunder was willing to help him, all these problems could be instantly solved.
But Roland also knew that he could not force Thunder to stay. He would have to let him think it over.
Roland thus went back to his work. Suddenly, the telephone rang.
It was from the Witch Building in the Castle District.
"Hello?"
"Your Majesty, it's Wendy," Wendy's voice came from the other end of the line. "We found witches at the checkout at the Shallow Port."
...
"Sir, where are you taking us?"
Thylane asked gingerly while holding Momo's hand.
Not a long time ago, they had been waiting in the line like any other immigrants to pass the security. However, when they entered the registration area, they were taken to a heavily guarded room separately by the guards in black.
They immediately turned nervous.
They had heard that a few refugees had to go through a series of "special interrogation" when they entered some cities and would have to bribe the examining officers to avoid being punished.
However, the officer did not do anything but simply leave them alone in the room. He asked them a few strange questions and released them. After that, another man in black took them to the inner city.
"You don't have to be so nervous. My name is Joseph," the man in black said mildly. "You're witches, aren't you?"
Thylane was startled. She did not expect that Joseph would soon see through their true identities. She did not know how he had figured it out, for she thought that she was in heavy disguise.
"Why... did you say that?"
"I don't know anything about magic, but the witches told me," Joseph said while scratching the back of his head. "I know they use a special stone to detect magic power. As for where I'm taking you, I'm taking you to the witches' residential area, of course. You must be tired, right? Don't worry. Ms. Wendy will take good care of you."
Thylane and Momo exchanged surprised looks.
They were astonished that Neverwinter had so advanced technologies to detect witches. Had the church and the nobles in the Kingdom of Wolfheart also possessed such technologies, they would have been captured and killed years ago.
Also, it appeared that people in Neverwinter did not discriminate witches at all.
Their master had told them about this city in the far west of Graycastle as well as its ruler, Roland Wimbledon. They had also heard a lot of rumors before they had boarded the ship. Nevertheless, what they had heard from their master was very different from those rumors. Their master described the King of Graycastle as an arrogant and vile tyrant who hired witches to satisfy his own wicked desire, while people on the ship believed that witches were treated in the same way as ordinary people in Neverwinter.
That was the reason they had decided to move to the south.
As the Kingdom of Wolfheart was so far away from Graycastle, nobody knew what life in Neverwinter truly looked like. Therefore, they planned to conceal their witch identity and see what was going on first before taking the next move. They did not expect, however, that they were soon exposed.
Luckily, people here treated them just as normal residents.
When they reached the outer ring of the Castle District, a red-haired woman came up to them with two smiling little girls.
"I'll take it over from here."
"Yes, Ms. Wendy!" Joseph said and administered a salute. Then he waved at Thylane and Momo and quickly left.
Thylane started to study the woman named Wendy attentively.
"My name is Wendy. I'm the superintendent of the Witch Union of Neverwinter. These two are my assistants, Ring and Grayrabbit," Wendy said with a smile. "Can I have your names? Although from the list I have, I see that your names are Thylane and Momo, I do want you to pronounce your names in person."
Thylane instantly felt a lot at ease. It had been a long time since she had met such a nice person. To her, Wendy looked more like a noble than those true ones. She was mature and elegant, who reminded her of someone depicted in a portrait.
"I'm Thylane," she replied in a low voice.
"Momo," her companion also pronounced her own name.
"Good names," Wendy commented as she held the two witches' hands. "Welcome to Neverwinter. From now on, this will be your new home. Come. I'll show you around and take you where you're going to live in the future."
They passed the fence and the yard before Thylane noticed that the Lord's castle was actually not the highest building in the city. Behind that stood a more magnificent edifice. Between these two buildings lay a large, lovely garden carpeted with grass. Several beautiful ladies were chatting leisurely.
This was perhaps the dream life she had been longing for.
"Are they also... witches?" Momo asked involuntarily.
"Yes," Wendy said with a nod. "You'll see more when they're off work."
"Er... off work?"
"It means finishing working," Ring explained. "In Neverwinter, witches, like everybody else, have work to do every day."
"Then what about them..."
The little girl twiched her lips and said, "Like ordinary people, some are hard-working while some are lazy."
"Didn't your sister tell you that I have good hearing?" a girl with pointy ears said as she turned around and walked up to them smilingly.
"Ah... Lorgar, I was not talking about you," Ring explained while waving her hand. "I was talking about — "
"Hey, new members to the Union?" Another person joined the conversation as she ambled over. "Hello, I'm Mystery Moon, the captain of the Neverwinter Detective Group! Whatever ability you have, feel free to join us. How does it sound? Are you interested?"
"I was talking about her," Ring said as she covered her face in embarrassment.
"Really? Were you introducing me?" Mystery Moon said while resting her hands on her hips. "Remember, the Detective Group is dedicated to solving problems using your brain. If someone asks you to join the Exploration Group, please ignore them. They only want people with great physical strength and never take personal qualities into consideration. This wolf girl is a perfect example."
"Hey, do you want to have a taste of my fist?" Lorgar snarled while baring her teeth.
"Look, this is the proof!" Mystery Moon said as she hastily made an attempt to block Lorgar's upcoming attack.
"So embarrassing..."
"Well, can I go back to my reading?" some other witches murmured.
Thylane gaped.
It appeared that the life here was a little different than what she had pictured.

As Jason entered the room, the woman slowly opened her eyes and looked at the maid.

Seeing the maid's reaction, she slowly turned her head towards the door.

First, her eyes widened, then her body shook and she pushed away the blanket and tried to get up, but it appeared that it was quite difficult for her.

With maid help, she sat down. It appeared that there was now life in those dead eyes of her as energy was flowing in her veins again. She was excited.

Jason didn't stand by the door either. He walked toward her and sat beside her. Then, he held her hands and called out.

"Mother.! I am ok now."

Time Skip - Two Days.

Jason had blended in his new family quite well. He also met his father that night at the dinner table and the family of three had a nice long chat. 

When he was asked why he had been sleeping for days, he told them that he had a head injury. It turned out to be quite effective as medical system in this era was very underdeveloped and internal injuries were very hard to detect, so the doctors he was shown to would not be able to detect anything wrong with him anyway.

William would rarely talk to his family that much, not to mention the other changes in behavior Jason had unknowingly displayed, but his parents thought that it was due to the head injury he supposedly had and would go back to normal soon.

Currently, he was walking towards his father's study to talk about something.

When he arrived after a long walk from the long corridor, he was greeted by the two knights outside. They were one of the guard pairs that were there to protect the prime minister, his father.

"Jacob, I want to talk to father about something important." Jason said to one of the guards.

"Understood young master. Please wait a moment." Jacob was an old fella and a family guard.

A few minutes later.

"Please enter, young master." Jacob came back and held the door open.

Jason entered. It was a spacious room with several bookshelves, right and left. His father was sitting in front of him, behind a bulky table, writing on a piece of paper with a quill. Two guards were standing on both side of the wall behind him.

When Jason entered, the prime minister looked up and talked with an expressionless face. 

"William. What do you want to talk about.? We could talk during the dinner tonight, then what was so argent that you had to come here.?" 

"Father. This is very important. We need to talk alone." Jason relied.

"Both David and Harley are my most trusted knights, you can talk." His father said after raising an eyebrow.

"Perhaps, but it's better to be careful. Those two guards outside need to stand further away from the door as well. Just in case." Jason replied.

"Hmm." His father now had a serious face.

"You two go outside and guard the door and tell the two outside to stand further away from the door. Make sure nobody comes in." His father commanded.

After the two guards left.

"Alright.! What is it about.?" His father asked.

"It's about the real reason why I had slept for all those days. It's not because I had a head injury, but I was poisoned. I was poisoned by the church believers, living in this house." Jason replied.

His father's eyes widened.
"But, you are a church believer yourself.! Why would church...."

"That's because it was an act all along father.! I did indeed used to be a believer, but I began to see more and more truth as time passed and church's true nature started to reveal it self. Father. The witches are not devil's minions. There is no entity like the 'god', described by the church. Church spread plagues and diseases, just to increase the number of it's believers and there are a ton of other dark deeds that the church had done, in order to achieve it's goals." Jason replied, in a cold voice. 

"Hmm. But, it still doesn't explain why church would try to poison you in such a manner. They could use plenty of ways that would be a lot more risk free. Like sending a group of warriors, poised as bandits when you are travelling outside or even sending an assassin after you, when you visit the church by yourself." 
Horford Quinn was after all a prime minister of a country and he had see many waves in his life. He quickly comprehended what his son was saying and asked Jason an important question. 

"That's because Church had done many dark deeds father and once I had taken part in an experiment. If my death is to be related to church, in any way, it would be a big loss for the church." Jason relied, while leaning on the table.

His father was a little startled, but quickly calmed down.

"What kind of experiment was it.? Don't beat around the bush William. Tell me everything. This is a very sensitive matter."

"Church had spread rumors about witches being devils minions because they can use magic power, but let me tell you a secret father. The church has witches too. They call them the pure witches and the witches are not the only ones who can use magic power. Church had been experimenting about magic since it was established four hundred years ago and it has created the god punishment warriors and other things, through magic."

Then, after a little pause and letting his father comprehend, he started talking again after noticing that Horford was nodding his head for him to continue.

"The experiment I participated in was to let men wield magic power, like the witches do and it was a success. I can use magic father." Jason whispered.

His father looked at him in the eye and stayed silent.

"They want to kill me now because they think that their experiment was not a success. Initial plan was to use me like a puppet, like they do the god punishment warriors, but because of the magic power, their controlling methods didn't work on me. Now I have my own free will and I can use magic. Not much different from the witches they persecute. If my death is to be related to church, there is a chance that the truth would be revealed, but if it turns out to be an accident..."

"Then, they can simply cut their loses and move on as going against Quinn family would be like going again the whole kingdom of dawn. They can still damage our reputation by spreading rumors though." His father interrupted. 

After a short pause.

"Could you tell me what is church's goal in the end and also prove to me that you can use magic. It's not like I don't believe you, but the whole thing sounds a bit bizarre. Let me ask you a few questions to ascertain that you are indeed William, my son. What if you are a witch, impersonating my son.!? Sorry, but this is a sensitive matter. I need to confirm." His father replied, clearly a bit suspicious about a few things, but mostly he believed him. Jason could tell.

"Alright, ask away. First confirm that I am your son." Jason replied.

After a long series of questions about his childhood and other things, William told him that church's real goal was to rule the four kingdoms and it had been planning this for four hundred years. 

"I know that it might sound a bit strange and it doesn't explain many actions taken by the church, but I don't know everything about church either, father. However, the things I have told you are absolutely correct. I can guarantee that." Jason said in a confident voice.

"Hmm.!" His father replied while thinking about something as he sounded a little distracted.

"As for me, using magic power, let me show you. My magic is not affected by the god stone of retaliation like the witches, so you don't need to take it off." 
Jason told him, while he was also simultaneously communicating with system, in his mind.

"System. Activate sonar in my left eye."

Jason Harris was a captain in the U.S special forces. He died during a rescue mission, and woke up as William Quinn, Andrea Quinn's younger brother along with an A.I. chip, embedded in his soul.
