Ada banyak yang harus dipertimbangkan jika ingin mencari uang dari sebuah game. Bukan berarti mustahil, tapi cukup sulit bagi seorang pemula yang hanya mengincar penghasilan dalam game. Cukup banyak siswa SMA maupun SMP yang memainkan Orbis Online hanya untuk mencari uang tambahan. Selain mendapat hiburan, mereka juga bisa menghasilkan uang. Sekali tepuk dua lalat.

	"Oi Deus, kamu beneran enggak main Orbis Online?"

	"Enggak. Memangnya kenapa?"

	"Y-yah, semua murid di kelas kita bermain Orbis Online, masa kamu enggak."

	"Maaf saja, aku tak memiliki uang sebanyak kalian yang bisa di hamburkan sesuka hati."

Laki-laki bernama Deus tersebut merapihkan bukunya dan beranjak dari tempat duduknya, kemudian pergi keluar dari kelas. Seluruh orang yang ada di dalam kelas itu memusatkan perhatian mereka pada Deus yang baru saja keluar dari kelas. Haris—laki-laki yang mengajak Deus bermain Orbis Online tadi hanya bisa tersenyum masam.

Rudeus Laendra—biasa dipanggil Deus, seorang mahasiswa di sebuah universitas tertentu. Ia merupakan seorang mahasiswa yang pintar di universitasnya. Buktinya hampir setiap ujian semester ia berada di peringkat 10 besar dalam mata kuliah yang dipilihnya.

Walaupun ia seorang mahasiswa yang pintar, ia lebih cenderung menyendiri daripada berkelompok. Sifatnya yang tak tahan keramaian dan kebisingan itu membuatnya menjadi seorang pendiam tulen.

Setelah menaiki bus dan berjalan kurang lebih setengah jam, akhirnya Deus tiba di apartemennya. Ia melempar tasnya ke kasur yang kemudian disusul tubuhnya selang beberapa saat. Ia membenamkan kepalanya di dalam bantal mencoba merilekskan seluruh ototnya.

AC yang menyala sejak ia meninggalkan apartemennya membuat suasana ruangan sangat dingin—ditambah tak ada cahaya matahari yang masuk ke dalam. Dilihat dari hal ini, ia terlihat seperti vampir yang menyamar ke dunia manusia.

Sepuluh menit kemudian, Deus bangkit dari kasurnya dan berjalan ke arah dapur—membuka kulkas mencari apapun yang bisa mengisi perutnya.

	"Sial, ternyata bahan makananku juga habis."

Ia kembali merebahkan dirinya ke kasur setelah memeriksa isi kulkasnya. Tidak ada yang dapat dimakan, kecuali sepotong keju dan beberapa siung kupasan bawang merah.

Perutnya mulai mengeluarkan suara yang tak ingin ia dengar. Ia memukul pelan perutnya sendiri memperingatkan agar tidak bersuara lagi. Namun, apa yang terjadi malah sebaliknya. Ia pun membuat ekspresi kesal di wajahnya.

Ia duduk di kasur, mengambil dompetnya di sebuah meja kecil yang tak jauh darinya dan memeriksa isinya.

	"Wah, isi dompetku ternyata horor sekali."

Sambil mengatakan itu, ekspresinya berubah menjadi tampang masam yang terlihat tengah kesulitan. Tentu saja, di dompetnya hanya tersisa beberapa lembar uang kertas berwarna ungu dan kuning. Dalam beberapa hari ke depan kelihatannya akan menjadi hari-hari yang sulit untuknya.

Ia meletakkan dompetnya kembali ke meja kecil dan menyalakan televisi untuk menghibur diri. Kebanyakan konten yang disediakan tak terlalu jauh dari soal Virtual-Reality. Merasa tersinggung, Deus terus mengganti channel tv, hingga akhirnya berhenti di sebuah channel yang membuat alisnya naik.

	"Hai, selamat siang pemirsa semuanya! Saya Yoyon!"

	"Saya Medley!"

Di layar tv terlihat seorang wanita berambut hijau dengan potongan bob disertai sesuatu yang mirip telinga kucing di kepalanya dan wanita berambut emas yang dipunggungnya terdapat sepasang sayap transparan. Mereka berdua sangat bersemangat membawakan acara yang disebut tadi.

Orbis View, salah satu acara tv yang digelar oleh channel khusus Orbis Online untuk meliput keanekaragaman yang ada di dalam game Orbis Online. Dalam acara ini, biasanya para pembawa acara akan berpetualang mencari berbagai hal yang tidak ada di dunia nyata. Untuk yang tidak bermain Orbis Online, mereka juga bisa mengetahui apa saja yang tersedia di salah satu dunia buatan tersebut.

Selama acara berlangsung, Deus hanya menonton dengan tenang. Alasan mengapa ia menonton acara ini adalah karena ingin mengabaikan rasa laparnya. Masih ada sekitar seminggu lebih tiga hari untuk berpindah menuju bulan selanjutnya.

	"Orbis Online, dunia yang begitu populer sebagai lapangan pekerjaan. Hah, andaikan aku memiliki cukup uang, mungkin aku sudah membeli Solid Gear dan ikut bermain game itup."

Deus mendesah mengingat kondisi perekonomiannya yang saat ini berada dalam bahaya. Solid Gear, sebuah perangkat berbentuk helm full-face yang digunakan untuk memasuki berbagai macam dunia Virtual-Reality—Orbis Online salah satunya. Tanpa perangkat tersebut, mustahil untuk seseorang masuk ke dalam dunia Virtual-Reality.

Harga Solid Gear sangat mahal bagi orang-orang berekonomian menengah ke bawah, 22.000.000 rupiah. Tentu harga ini terlalu mengerikan bagi Deus yang setiap bulannya dikirimi 900.000 rupiah oleh pamannya. Meski jumlah uang itu hanya untuk biaya makan sebulan, tetap saja ia harus menghemat uangnya sebisa mungkin.

Setelah Orbis View selesai, Deus mematikan tv-nya dan menarik selimut menutupi tubuhnya. Ia menutup mata dan mencoba mengalihkan kesadarannya pergi ke pulau kapuk. Tak sampai setengah jam, kesadaran mahasiswa berambut hitam dengan wajah rata-rata itu sudah menghilang.

Seperti biasa, Deus bangun pagi dan melakukan olahraga kecil sebagai rutinitasnya. Ia memakan sepotong keju di kulkas untuk sarapannya—meski tak mengenyangkan perutnya. Agar kenyang, ia mengisi lambungnya dengan air minum yang banyak. Ia harus menghemat keuangannya yang sedang di ambang kehabisan sebisa mungkin.

	"Hari ini jalan keliling kota sajalah, mumpung libur."

Setelah menggumamkan itu, ia bersiap-siap. Kaos oblong hitam, celana jeans biru, sebuah jaket bertudung merah lengan hitam, dan sepasang sepatu sneakers merah pemberian temannya, itulah penampilan yang biasa ia gunakan ketika ingin keluar. Memang terlihat membosankan, tapi hanya ini yang ia miliki. Benar-benar seorang mahasiswa miskin.

Ia beranjak keluar dari apartemennya dan berjalan menyusuri trotoar jalanan dengan earphone yang menyumpal telinganya.

Berkeliling kota adalah hobi laki-laki berambut hitam ini. Meski hanya sekedar berkeliling tanpa berniat membeli atau bertujuan sesuatu, itulah yang sering di lakukan oleh Deus. Lebih baik mencari udara segar daripada berdiam diri di rumah tanpa melakukan apa-apa, itulah yang ia katakan.

Ia mengambil teleponnya dari saku celana, kemudian mencari ada berita apa saja di media sosial yang ia miliki. Tidak ada yang istimewa dari semua berita itu, kebanyakan adalah berita mengenai Orbis Online. Terlalu banyak, bahkan sampai-sampai memenuhi media sosialnya.

	"Memangnya enggak ada hal lain selain Orbis Online? Semuanya membahas game itu."

Merasa kesal karena tidak mempunyai uang yang cukup untuk membeli Solid Gear, ia memasukkan teleponnya ke dalam saku lagi dan memperhatikan sekelilingnya sambil berjalan. Deus adalah jenis orang yang tak ingin bekerja terlalu keras, namun ingin hidup nyaman dengan sendirinya. Bisa dikatakan bahwa ia adalah seorang pemalas tapi bisa juga bukan.

Ia hanya malas bekerja, bukan berarti ia merupakan seorang pemalas tulen.

Saat ingin menyeberangi jalan melalui zebra cross, ia melihat seorang anak kecil berlari melewatinya. Ia juga mendengar teriakan ibu sang anak kecil dari belakang yang terdengar sangat khawatir. Deus hanya memperlihatkan senyum sedih begitu melihat sepasang ibu dan anak ini.

Tiba-tiba, terdengar suara mesin mobil dari sebelah kanan yang meraung keras. Mobil sedang hitam tengah melaju dengan kencangnya ke arah sang anak kecil yang berlarian di atas zebra cross. Deus yang paling dekat dengan anak kecil tersebut sadar terhadap bahaya yang akan menghantam anak kecil di depannya.

Tanpa membuang banyak waktu, Deus segera melompat ke depan dan memeluk sang anak kecil.

Bruaaakk!!

Tahun 20XX telah ditemukan sebuah teknologi Virtual-Reality full-dive yang mana memungkinkan pengguna Solid Gear dapat memasuki dunia virtual buatan manusia dan merasakan perbedaan kehidupan virtual dan kenyataan.

Di samping itu, terdapat sebuah game VR full-dive yang begitu populer yang disenangi oleh berbagai kalangan, mau itu muda-mudi maupun yang tua-tua keladi.

Rudeus Laendra, seorang mahasiswa cukup normal dari jurusan tertentu di sebuah universitas. Kehidupan Deus sebagai seorang mahasiswa di landa kesulitan karena keuangan yang dikirimkan oleh pamannya untuk bertahan hidup sangat pas-pasan.

Di saat menghadapi kesulitan hidupnya, Deus mendapat berkah keberuntungan yang luar biasa karena perbuatan baiknya. Sejak saat itu, kehidupan berubah dan menjadi lebih bersemangat dibandingkan sebelumnya

Virtual reality massively multiplayer online, atau biasa disingkat VRMMO. Adalah game yang selalu di pikirkan oleh para pengembang game. Bagi mereka, membuat game tersebut adalah tantangan. Dan akhirnya...

Pada tahun 20XX, sebuah perusaha'an game terbesar berhasil membuat sebuah hardware yang sangat luar biasa, yaitu VRMMO. Sebuah game yang selalu dinantikan oleh seluruh pecinta game di dunia. Termasuk aku.

Tapi nyatanya, aku bermain game hanya untuk bersenang-senang saja. Aku bukanlah seorang gamers sejati, aku hanyalah seorang pemuda santai yang kebetulan menyukai game.

Dan saat aku mendengar berita tentang sebuah perusaha'an game berhasil membuat sebuah VRMMO bertemakan dunia bebas tanpa hukum, yaitu Free World Online. Tanpa berpikir dua kali, aku langsung pergi ke ATM terdekat dan menarik uang untuk aku membeli Hardware untuk game VR tersebut.

Free World Online. Rasanya seperti sebuah game VRMMO yang tidak memiliki latar belakang, tapi nyatanya memiliki cerita yang sangat menarik. Tentunya bagiku.

Setelah mengantre selama sepuluh jam dan menghabiskan dana lima juta lebih, akhirnya aku berhasil mendapatkan Hardware untuk game ini.

Awalnya, dunia Free World Online sama seperti dunia kita yang sekarang, tapi pada tahun 20XX, terjadi sebuah ledakan di matahari yang membuat bumi menjadi hangus. Hanya ada beberapa orang yang selamat dari insiden mengerikan tersebut.

Bertahun-tahun berlalu, dan seorang ilmuan berhasil membuat sebuah dunia baru yang terbang di atas bumi. Nama tempat tinggal baru bagi Manusia tersebut, adalah Sky World. Sebuah tempat yang sangat luas dan terdiri dari sepuluh lantai yang masing-masing lantai memiliki dunianya sendiri.

Seperti contohnya lantai satu, adalah lantai yang terlihat seperti sebuah kota indah yang memiliki segalanya, dan lantai dua adalah sebuah desa hijau yang sejuk dan segar.

Masih ada delapan lantai lagi yang belum di jelaskan di kotak game ini.

Terserahlah, aku mau langsung main saja.

Aku membuka kotak berisikan Hardware tersebut.

Hardware tersebut berbentuk seperti kacamata besar berwarna hitam untuk kacanya, dan putih untuk setiap sisinya.

Di sini di jelaskan kalau aku hanya harus memakai kacamata itu sambil terlentang. Lalu setelah itu aku hanya harus mengaktifkan tombol ONnya, dan tunggu selama lima detik sambil memejamkan mata, maka secara otomatis kesadaranku akan berpindah ke dunia bebas itu.

"Cukup mudah."

Aku langsung berbaring di kasur gulungku dan memakai kacamata game itu, dan menekan tombol ON yang ada di bagian kanan kacamata ini.

Saat aku menekan tombol ON, ada gambar batre yang bertuliskan seratus persen. Bagus.

Aku memejamkan mataku, dan tiba-tiba aku tidak merasakan apa-apa. Rasanya seperti seluruh tubuhku menghilang begitu saja. Dan secara tiba-tiba juga, pandanganku menjadi putih. Ada tulisan di kanan dan kiriku.

Yang kiri bertuliskan 'Buat karakter' sedangkan yang kanan bertuliskan 'Diri sendiri'.

Aku tidak mau repot dan langsung memilih yang kanan.

Saat itu juga, aku seperti tertarik masuk ke dalam lubang cacing berwarna hitam. Dan hanya butuh waktu sekitar dua detik untukku untuk tahu bahwa sekarang aku ada di dunia game.

Ini, sangat luar biasa.

Pembuka'an game baru akan di mulai setengah jam lagi, tapi sudah ada banyak pemain yang Online dan sedang berbincang-bincang dengan sesama player.

Aku melihat tubuhku sendiri. Aku memakai sepatu kulit hitam dan celana hitam bersama'an dengan pelindung lutut dan tulang kering. Aku juga memakai sebuah baju lengan panjang berwarna hitam lengkap dengan pelindung dada, siku, dan juga sarung tangan kulit berwarna coklat.

Ini keren.

Aku memegang rambutku, dan merasakan panjang rambutku sama persis dengan panjang rambutku di dunia nyata. Ngomong-ngomong, panjang rambutku adalah sepuluh centi. Aku pernah mengukurnya menggunakan penggaris, dan berakhir Ibuku menjambak rambutku agar aku mencukurnya. Tapi aku menolak dengan lembut.

Di depanku, di sampingku, dan di belakangku. Semuanya di penuhi oleh gedung-gedung tinggi dan beberapa robot yang berjalan-jalan. Robot? Benar juga! Dunia ini sudah maju.

"Hei!"

Seorang pria berkepala plontos melambaikan tangannya ke arahku sambil berlari.

"A-Apa? Apa kita pernah bertemu?" Tanyaku.

Pria botak itu tertawa bodoh, "Wajahku memang aku edit, tapi rambutku tetap tidak ada."

Aku tidak bisa menyembunyikan rasa senangku. Temanku di kampus dan jurusan yang sama, Rio.

"Kau juga membelinya ya?"

Rio mengangguk senang, "Aku kira hanya aku saja yang bermain game ini, ternyata kau juga ya?"

Aku tersenyum, "Iya, aku langsung berlari membeli game ini, karena jumlah Hardwarenya hanya sepuluh ribu saja."

"Acara pembuka'annya akan di mulai, ayo ke pusat kota!"

"Pusat kota?"

"Aku rasa sama seperti biasanya, kau selalu langsung saja bermain tanpa tahu tempat-tempatnya."

Aku tertawa bodoh.

Setelah itu, kami langsung berlari menuju pusat kota. Yang mana tempat ini terlihat sangat luas. Tentu saja, tempat ini di desain untuk menampung sepuluh ribu player yang hari ini Online. Aku heran, apa tidak ada sistem Channel atau semacamnya ya?.

Sesuatu di tengah-tengah pusat kota itu tiba-tiba terbuka, dan sesuatu seperti kristal runcing berwarna putih keluar. Di atas kristal itu, ada hologram seorang pria tua. Dia adalah si jenius yang mengembangkan game VRMMO ini, Jack si jenius game.

Kerumunan orang-orang ini bersorak gembira saat Jack si jenius game itu keluar. Walau hanya hologram sih.

"Terima kasih, Jack!"

"Kau luar biasa!"

"Aku suka VR!"

"HAHA KEREN!"

Aku juga ingin berteriak mengekspresikan rasa senangku, tapi aku terlalu malu untuk melakukan itu.

Berbeda denganku, Rio temanku bersorak sambil melompat-lompat.

"Hari ini," Jack si jenius game membuka pidatonya. "Adalah hari di mana game VRMMO pertama di buka. Sebelum memulai game luar biasa ini, aku ingin mengucapkan terima kasih pada kalian yang mau mengantre dan bahkan menghabiskan dana lebih dari lima juta rupiah untuk game Free World Online ini."

"Tidak masalah!"

"Sebanding dengan gamenya!"

Jack si jenius game tersenyum lepas, lalu dia mengangkat tangannya tinggi-tinggi, "Kalau begitu, kita MULAI SAJA GAME-NYA!"

"YYYEEEAAAHHHHH!!!"

Setelah itu, sepuluh ribu player langsung berlarian keluar dari zona aman lantai pertama dan langsung mencari sesuatu untuk di bunuh.

Tentu saja, dunia ini juga memiliki bermacam-macam senjata. Pedang, tombak, panah, tongkat, perisai, sarung tinju, dan masih banyak lagi senjata yang bisa di pakai. Mau bagaimana pun, nama game ini adalah Free World Online.

Kita bebas melakukan apapun yang kita mau, kecuali tindakan seksual. Karena aku yakin aku tidak akan punya alat vital di antara selangkanganku.

"Benar kan?" Tanyaku pada Rio.

"He?"

Tentu saja Rio akan merasa aneh saat aku tiba-tiba bertanya begitu.

"Tidak ada! Ayo pergi berburu!"

Rio mengangguk semangat, "Oke! Kau yang memimpin!"

Tidak kusangka, aku bisa masuk ke dalam game seperti di anime-anime saja.

Pada tahun 20XX, sebuah perusaha'an game terbesar berhasil membuat sebuah terobosan baru. Game yang selalu dinantikan oleh para gamers di seluruh dunia, yaitu Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online, atau biasa di sebut dengan VRMMO, akhirnya tercipta.
Free World Online, adalah game VRMMO pertama yang bertemakan dunia yang bebas tanpa hukum.

Tears dan Love melihat bayangan Borabora yang sudah terbang jauh. Di suasana yang hangat ini, Heni mulai membuka perbincangan.

Love : Tears
Tears : ya
Love : Seandainya sampai sekarang aku masih belum online, apa kamu masih terus menungguku?
Tears : ya
Love : kenapa?
Tears : Karena kamu pasti akan online lagi.
Love : Kamu begitu yakin kalau aku akan bermain game ini lagi?
Tears : Kamu nggak mau main? Buktinya kamu sekarang online?

Walaupun Heni yang bertanya terlebih dahulu, dia merasa tercekik. Dia memang ingin bermain game lagi, tetapi dia bertanya seperti itu karena dia penasaran dengan apa yang dipikirkan Tears. Mengapa Tears harus menunggunya, padahal mereka belum pernah bertemu.

Love : Lima tahun kamu menungguku, tidak pernahkah terlintas di benakmu seandainya aku tidak akan pernah online lagi?

Di sisi lain, Yuedi merenungi perkataan Love. Sejujurnya, dia juga merasa bahwa dirinya aneh, karena dia tak pernah berpikir seperti itu. Dia tetap optimis, percaya pada dirinya sendiri.

Semua orang di game mengetahui bahwa Tears berstatus menikah, namun hanya beberapa orang yang mengetahui bahwa istrinya tidak pernah online selama lima tahun. Ghost adalah salah satunya. Ghost selalu bertanya apakah Tears akan selalu menunggu istrinya, dan Tears pun menjawab secara optimis untuk tetap menunggu. Ghost terkadang menyarankan Tears untuk mencoba melupakan istrinya dan mencari pengganti yang baru. Tetapi Tears tak pernah menanggapi idenya secara serius.

Tears : Jika aku pernah berpikir seperti itu, mungkin aku akan berhenti untuk menunggumu. Karena hanya dengan berpikiran seperti itu, dapat menimbulkan keraguan dan keputusasaan. Jadi, aku tidak pernah berpikir seperti itu.

Jawaban yang diberikan Tears membuat jantung Heni berdegup kencang. Sebenarnya Heni adalah cewek yang tenang, namun ketika mendengar perkataan yang diucapkan oleh Tears, dia merasa sangat senang. 

Love : Namun setelah beberapa tahun, bagaimana jika orang yang kamu tunggu - tunggu ternyata sudah berubah, berbeda dari apa yang kamu harapkan?

Dulu ketika Love sudah tidak pernah online lagi, Yuedi menjadi depresi untuk beberapa bulan. Dia merasa kesepian, tetapi dia tetap tak bisa berhenti bermain game. Jadi dia selalu membayangkan jika Love masih ada disana menemaninya, berdiri disampingnya. Setelah itu, setiap dia menemukan sesuatu yang baru atau menarik, dia akan selalu mencoba mengingatnya. Seandainya Love akan online lagi, dia dapat menceritakan semua hal yang dia ingat, dan menemaninya untuk melihat - lihat tempat yang belum pernah dikunjungi Love.

Terkadang Yuedi ingat, namun terkadang juga dia lupa. Waktu terus berputar dan berganti, begitu pula dengan game tersebut, selalu ada pembaharuan. Tetapi dia tidak pernah sedetik pun melupakan perasaannya ketika bermain game bersama Love. Selalu dilindungi, tetapi juga ingin melindungi satu sama lain. Selama dia bisa bermain bersama, dia merasa bahagia. Apalagi setelah mereka menikah, kapanpun dia sedang memikirkan Love, dia tidak dapat menahan detak jantungnya yang berdegup kencang.

Dia baru merasakan perasaan ini untuk pertama kalinya, dan itu terjadi hanya pada Love, bukan dengan yang lain. Tanpa sadar, lima tahun sudah terlewati, dan Love online lagi. Disaat dia melihat nama itu, hati Yuedi seperti lompat dari dadanya. Itu seperti sihir, antara percaya dan tak percaya. 

Tears : Tak ada yang berubah. Kamu adalah kamu. Walaupun dibalik komputer itu ternyata kamu adalah kucing atau kambing, aku tak peduli, kamu tetap istriku.

Jawaban Tears membuat wajah Heni memerah. Heni merasa tersanjung. Saat ini, yang Heni inginkan adalah untuk tetap berdiri disamping Tears seperti ini. Dia tidak ingin mengecewakan Tears.

Tears : Kurasa kamu ada sedikit berubah.
Love : ....
Tears : Kamu sempat melupakanku.
Love : ....
Tears : Jika kamu tidak ingin bermain game lagi, beritahu aku, jangan meninggalkanku tanpa kata - kata. Kita bisa mengucapkan perpisahan secara baik - baik, dan aku tidak akan melarangmu. Walaupun sebenarnya aku ingin kamu tetap bermain menemaniku.
Love : .....
Tears : Jangan diam aja .... Aku seperti orang gila.
Love : Sebelumnya, kamu pernah bertanya ingin menjalin hubungan denganku di dunia nyata, kamu serius?
Tears : Apa kamu sudah punya pacar di dunia nyata?
Love : Nggak.
Tears : Oke aku mengerti. Kamu hanya mau kalau hubungan kita hanya sebatas di game saja?
Love : Ya.
Tears : Oke, aku janji apa yang terjadi di dalam game tetap tinggal di game. Aku tidak akan bertanya seperti apa kamu di dunia nyata. Entah kamu kurus atau gemuk, cewek atau cowok, cakep atau jelek, sehat atau sakit. Selama kamu menjadi istriku di game, aku tak peduli dengan semuanya. Jika kamu tidak ingin berbicara, aku tidak akan bertanya. Apa kamu puas?
Love : Ya.
Tears : Karena aku sudah berjanji padamu, bisakah kamu juga berjanji padaku?
Love : Apa?
Tears : Panggil aku 'sayang' di dalam game.

Love : Beri aku waktu, aku tak biasa.
Tears : Waktu buat apa? Semakin sering kamu memanggilku, kamu akan semakin terbiasa. Kamu kan cuma mengetik, tidak berbicara langsung dari mulutmu.
Love : ..... Kita sudah lama tidak bermain bersama, aku masih merasa asing.

"Kemarin aku mengupgrade sayapku, jadi aku terbang lebih cepat darimu. Saat kamu online jangan iri padaku, hehehehe."

Lambat laun, jumlah pesan yang dikirimkan Yuedi ke Love menjadi semakin jarang. Bukannya Yuedi sudah melupakan Love, tetapi dia merasa bahwa semua pesan - pesannya tampak konyol, terkadang dia membaca pesannya yang dulu, dia ingin memaki dirinya sendiri.

Contohnya, ketika dia mulai memasuki peringkat sepuluh besar di arena. Dia melihat semua pesannya dari pertama kali dia memasuki arena, dia merasa malu. Dia tak mau melihat Love membaca semua pesan konyolnya ketika dia online kembali.

Tahun demi tahun, nama Tears mulai dikenal pemain lain. Bahkan pemain cewek ada yang menyatakan perasaannya kepada Tears. Tetapi Yuedi sudah terbiasa bermain sendirian, dia hanya butuh lawan di game.

Di tahun tersebut, game Perfect World akan melakukan patch baru. Dimana setiap pesan akan terhapus otomatis setelah tujuh hari pesan itu dikirimkan. Melihat berita ini, Yuedi merasa lega namun juga sedih.

Yuedi melihat lagi semua pesan - pesan yang telah terkirim, terkadang ia tersenyum konyol, kadang dia menangis. Terkadang dia berpikir jika Love sudah melupakannya. Kemudian, dia mengirimkan pesan untuk terakhir kalinya.

Heni mempunyai seorang kekasih ketika dia berusia 15 tahun. Mereka bertemu di dalam game dan belum pernah bertemu secara langsung. Namun sayang, orangtuanya melarangnya bermain game dan memutuskan sambungan internet karena nilai ujiannya menurun. Heni tak sempat mengucapkan kata-kata perpisahan kepada kekasihnya. 

Beberapa tahun kemudian, Heni memutuskan untuk kembali bermain game yang telah lama ia tinggalkan. Heni terkejut ketika ia menyadari bahwa kekasihnya masih tetap bermain game ini dan dia belum memutuskan ikatan yang sudah mereka jalin. 

Namun tetap saja ada yang berubah. Cowok yang dulu dikenal Heni sebagai seseorang yang lugu dan menggemaskan, sekarang dia nampak sedikit jahil dan usil. Mungkinkah dia membenci Heni yang telah mencampakkannya selama ini?
