They had been on the road for about seven days now, crossing rocky majestic mountains, beautiful green humble hills, and lush radiant rainforests. Throughout the trip, Leo and Aurora had a great time sightseeing from their caravan as they watched with full interest at the flock of birds hovering above in the endless blue sky, sometimes dropping to rest on the treetops on the upper canopies. 
Another night had come, and Leo was once again in his mind space training. After he finished training, he started looking around the mansion and went into the impartation hallway to check up on something and found that as expected, the soul connection of Aurora to the square box was finished now. 
Extremely excited, he quickly exited his mind space to invited Aurora inside, however, as he returned to reality he found that Aurora was indeed next to his but she was fast asleep and laying on his shoulder as her sweet sleepy breath warmed up the side of Leo's neck.
Knowing how uncomfortable this position must have been, Leo couldn't help but reveal a heartwarming smile as he moved his hands and placed Aurora's silently sleeping heavy head on his lap so that she would be able to sleep more comfortably.
'She must be tired, the thought of arriving at the sect must be scaring her,' thought Leo as he slowly caressed her beautiful blonde hair, as he laid there appreciating and mesmerized by her beauty.
Somewhat tired himself, Leo rested his bent back on the caravan wooden wall and dozed off into succulent sleep as well.
Morning came, Leo woke up first due to sunshine somehow coincidentally shining right upon him. As he opened his eyes, he found out that Aurie was still asleep on his lap. So, having nothing better to do Leo went into his mind space and started to try and pass on some talents to Aurora. As he arrived before the hallway, he went to the box that contained her blood and saw that inside was a white pure wisp-like form of Aurora which made her look like a celestial being. As he went to the large TV, he saw that there was now another tab with 'Aurora Wellbloom' written on it's front page. Leo clicked it and was immediately show a new tab that had all of Aurora's stats and everything. It even had the option to summon Aurora to his mind space. This greatly shocked him as he did not know that he could do this.

"Wow. Looks like I will bring her here. She should love this place. I can't wait. Hehe," Leo said as he excitedly cheered, he had not expected the mansion to give him a status screen like report like the ones on RPG games for her.
"Now I just wait for her... Let's practice," Leo decided as he did not want to wake Aurora up.
As he waited for Aurora to wake up, Leo started practicing his art and trained in his mind space. Aurora woke up an hour after Leo, as she opened her eyes she found out that she had been sleeping on his lap, her face filled with a cute smile as she sat up and looked out at the dawning sun.
Sensing that Aurora was awake, Leo immediately ran to the impartation hallway and summoned her here.
Aurora had just woken up and just as she was looking at the sun, her view started changing as she suddenly appeared before a huge mansion.
"Good morning Aurie, here, come this way," Leo said as he waved his hand at her.
Seeing that it was Leo, Aurora's facial expression right now was the definition of confusion as slowly went to him and curiously asked, "Leo, where is this?"
"Well… This is my house. It exists in my mind. This is where I spend most of my time here when I'm bored," Leo replied as he tried to find a good answer.
"What? I am in your mind?" Aurora screamed in shock.
"Yep!" Leo answered as he got a flashback of him taking Aurora's blood.
"I see. Wow, this place is huge. I can't believe that such a huge house exists in your mind" said Aurora in awe.
"Haha. The reason I took you here was to help you."
"What? Help me?" Aurora asked in confusion.
"Yes, do you remember when you said that you want to be an amazing doctor and a great chef?"
"Hmph. I only said I wanted to be a doctor, you made the chef part up just because I failed to cook a herbal soup. This isn't fair," Aurora replied grumpily.
"Haha. Well, Aurie let me take you somewhere"
Leo grasped her hand and led her to the library and started searching for the medicine and cooking books while Aurora just standing in the middle of the room as her eyes stared blankly as she was in awe of the sheer size of the library. Comparing the one in the village to the one here was like comparing a pebble to a rock.
"Here take a seat. I will go and find some books."
As he said this, Leo walked off and started grabbing books from random places and came back to the table after a few minutes with about a hundred and thirty books.
"Here. These are books regarding doctors and chefs. You should read these and this should help you in becoming a doctor."
"Really?" asked Aurora as she looked at the piles of books in amazement. She had read all the books in the village library regarding medicine so she had started placing her doctor's dream as a far distant dream as they did not really help her at all but after seeing all these books Leo gave her, she had hope again.
Leo nodded as he smiled at her as he evilly thought, 'if only she knew that I chose one that much out of the hundred thousand books of cooking and medicine that are from my world.'
Seeing him smile so sweetly, a crimson blush appeared on her face as she said thank you to Leo.
"Ok, Aurie. Start reading, I will go out, I need to go do something. I will be back soon. Just keep reading. I won't take long,"
Leo left the library and started walking towards the TV in the impartation hallway. As he arrived the TV's interface had changed. There was now an arrow pointing to the right indicating that Leo should swipe right, which he did. As Leo did it, a whole list popped up like the amazon shopping results screen. 
'This must be where I can buy the arts and talents for Aurora,' he thought.
Seeing that he could just choose them from here, Leo started searching for what he wanted. He had only one thousand soul energy points so he had to be considerate of it as he chose talents and arts. And he scrolled through, he chose two talents that he was sure of that would help her in her doctoring dream and he now was currently looking for an art that she would be able to use. Eventually, he stumbled upon one that seemed perfect, it the only art on the screen and was a two-person art:

This art requires a male and a female. Its attack power amplifies depending on the cultivation of the two users. A dragon and phoenix form and are able to be freely controlled by each user. Happy with his choice, Leo confirmed this purchase and his soul energy dropped as three things appeared on the ground in front of the TV, they were eleven wispy colorful energy balls and a scroll.
Leo returned joyfully hopped and came back to the library and saw the Aurora was still reading the books. When she saw the Leo had come back, she greeted him and smiled while her eyes completely focused on the eleven glowing balls and the scroll in his hand.
"What are these?" she curiously asked as she pointed towards his hand.
"These are for you. See what happens when you swallow the balls and as for the scroll, we need to open it together. It is a cultivation art that we are going to learn." replied Leo as he smiled at her while handing her balls.
Aurora took the orbs and sat on the floor as she held two balls on her hand as she slowly examined them.
Gulp!
She immediately poured all the balls down her throat and eleven wisps of energies swirled around her and flew directly into her head, happening so fast that she did not even have the time to react.
"What was that?" She asked as she jumped in surprise.
"They are stuff that will help you on your journey to becoming a doctor. Come let's open this scroll," Leo simply spoke.
The scroll was held by two hands. Leo opened it while Aurora held it and as they opened it. The insights, instructions, and words of this art flew into their heads.
"Leo, what is this?" Aurora asked as she did not want to believe that this was what she thought it was.
"This is an art," Leo confirmed her guess.
"WHAT? An art? The village doesn't even have one," Aurora exclaimed in wonder as she could not comprehend how this was possible.
"I know… so you are going to have to keep this a secret. Ok?"
"Ok,"
"Let's go and start practicing it. To be a doctor, you also need to be strong. This art will help both of us get strong."
"Ok then let's go."

And thus, Leo and Aurora would now start practicing every day and Aurora would often come to the library to read the books while Leo was practicing his art and controlling his killing intent.
Days passed by and both grew stronger and their relationship getting closer.

Having died sacrificing his life for his brother. A god is pleased with Leonidas and how he has lived his life. So he decided to grant him three wishes but each wish will have its own setbacks. Nevertheless, he decides to go through with it.
Eventually, after deciding all his wishes, he is reincarnated at a small village called Meno in the Crystal Empire. And finds out that his strength is sealed.

But what he doesn't know is that the god had sent him to a time period right before a great war that would shake the heaven and be so great that even the God could not see it coming.

After around 7 minutes Penelope returns, only carrying the small box with her, Ciri looks at her worried and asks, "Did you not find them?"
The young shop keeper shakes her head, puts the box down and opens it, revealing disproportionate insides which house a stack of books. She doesn't say anything about it as if this thing is just an everyday occurrence and starts unpacking it. "Charms, Tranfiguration, Astronomy, Defence against the dark arts, Herbology, History of magic and Potions... I think that's everything?" she asks them.
Reima rubs his chin, "Are there any books on Arithmancy, Runes, Occlumency and Animagi?... Oh, and Alchemy?", usually it'd be best to search for them himself but this girl seems like a trustworthy person...
She nods slowly, "Er, I think so..." she glares at him but eventually relents in their staring contest. "Fine, I'll go look for you... Stay here." she says reluctantly and walks off with the box.
Ciri "Do we really need all those books? I thought we only needed to practise the base subjects?"
Reima shrugs, "You can ignore the extra's I've ordered, I'm just interested in the different kinds of magic in this world. Back home Sorceresses can transform into animals but they seem to have a different method here, I wanna try my hand at becoming an Animagus, it seems interesting enough."
His words catch her attention, she'd previously heard Yennefer and Triss talking about techniques that'd allow self transfiguration. They'd been most intrigued by the concept and had almost ignored her presence entirely while discussing it. Truthfully she felt the need to prove herself to everyone back home, she was no longer just a child who needed protection, perhaps this is the chance she needed.
Ciri "If it's not any trouble I'd like to learn as much as I can while we're here... This Animagus technique sounds interesting, do you choose the animal you transform into?"
Reima shrugs, "I'm not an expert but I'm sure you turn into an animal that most suits you, if your a disloyal coward you'd be a rat or if you're a brave person you might be a lion... But that's just my speculation."

They're discussion ends when a slightly sweaty Penelope briskly walks back to the desk and drops the box on the table. She opens the box and pulls out many books detailing Alchemy, Animagi, Occlumency, Arithmency and Runes. "I hope that's everything?"
Reima skims over the titles and grins, "This is great thanks, how much will that be?" he says retrieving a handful of Galleons.
Penelope writes on a piece of paper, seeming to calculate the cost of all the books and finally states "684 Galleons" Reima's grin drops and he mimics "684? For some books?"
Penelope doesn't look away and explains, "While the base Hogwarts subjects books are discounted for students the extra book you requested are considerably more expensive than everything else. Don't blame the store as it's due to the ministry heavily taxing all advanced magical knowledge... This is the only way to make a profit sadly."
Reima can only swallow the lump in his throat and fork out the huge pile of Galleons, "Very well... Thank you for assisting us Miss Clearwater." he says as he seals away all the books into his Folded Space, drawing the surrounding peoples attention at what he'd just done...
"Wandless magic?"
"Lord, what spell was that!"
Penelope "What was that?"
Reima feels  like kicking himself for doing this in plain view, "Err, It's a magical artifact that I had acquired in my travels... Don't mind it."
They seem to buy the excuse and turn to go about their business, Penelope however still eyes him with a suspicious look but he and Ciri quickly leave the store to escape anymore attention towards them.

Outside on the street the two chatter, "That's basically everything, there are a couple other things like pets but I doubt you're interested in that."
Ciri "Pets?"
Reima "Like a Mail Owl, Cat or toad, those were the creatures listed but I don't think it really matter what you bring."
Ciri "Do you think we should get an Owl? It seems pretty important around here, I mean look at that." she points above them to building with almost one hundred owls just perching on it.
Reima "It's up to you, I'd suggest you wait until we get some proper accommodation that isn't just an Inn though." She agrees and they decide to find something to eat, it's around 1:30 Pm as they sit down on a table outside of a place called "Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour". Reima had eaten ice-cream before but nothing like this, he had bought a flavour called "Unicorn Horn Surprise", it tastes kind of like vanilla but mixed with bone marrow? It's actually quite nice but the after-taste is a bit sour. Ciri had gotten one called "Bezoar extract", it was brown and Reima suspected it to be rather disgusting but Ciri wanted it nonetheless, she bites into it and filches back at how cold it is, it seems the Elder Blood doesn't protect against brain freeze... Reima himself is fine, as soon as the Ice -cream enters his body it instantly melts, he is quite literally something akin to a god of fire currently.
Ciri groan "This is disgusting... It tastes like medicine, and something else I hope isn't the case."
Reima shrugs, "Wanna swap? This is pretty good." she nods and Reima immediately gets what she meant, the only edible tasting part of this was the cone, she however seems to be thouroughly enjoying herself.
Ciri "I'd heard about mages creating frozen sweets but this is the first time I'd actually had one."
Reima "Yeah? Well there's a lot more where that came from, this worlds technology will probably blow you away." he states with confidence.

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy.

I have been sitting on this concept for a while and want to see if I can write it, starting with the Witcher then the game Absolver and then onto Darksouls 1.

Pi was fond of reading Chinese books. At first, it was not very used to them. But the Chinese language had a magical power, in which each word was formed by special rules, and each word's form had a special meaning. This was fascinating to Pi. Take the word "mountain" (山) for example, by looking at this character, the peaks of the mountain seemed visible. 
It followed Zhang Zian's suggestions to sit straight in front of the computer and type for a while, then sit on the window sill to look into the distance and observe the busy pedestrians. After a few minutes, as the eyes were adjusted and relaxed, it sat in the basket hammock chair and read books on the tablet, then repeated the cycle. Pi enjoyed the routine.　　
Maybe Pi was already used to searching for information in the complex records of the nameless book. It was able to read extremely fast and not only was it able to understand everything, it was able to remember them. Each time Zhang Zian came upstairs to check on it, he found it reading a different book.　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi typed its explanation: "I've read the English versions of these books. That's why I read fast."　　
Zhang Zian nodded in acknowledgment.　
The books that he transferred into the tablet for it were the electronic versions of the old and contemporary classics, most of which had been translated into English and introduced to western readers. It was normal that Pi had read them before.　　
Pi enjoyed any type of books. Novels, traveling journals, essays, poetry, science, biography...it enjoyed all of them. To satisfy his growing appetite for books, Zhang Zian retrieved the books he read in his childhood from the storage room, and borrowed some more from Wang Qian and Li Kun. He stacked the books next to the basket hammock chair so that it could access them any time.　　
Pi was gentle with the paper books. It handled them with care, and was careful when flipping the pages, yet these didn't slow down the reading.　
Soon, Pi finished reading all the paper books in Zhang Zian's house and those he borrowed elsewhere.　　
Apart from the daily business of the pet shop, Zhang Zian had an additional task of browsing the online shopping website for discounted books. He would buy some every time there was a promotion.　　

"Master, this is heavy! You are receiving a lot of couriers lately."　
Wang Qian and Li Kun walked into the shop with two heavy boxes, and placed them next to Zhang Zian's reclining chair.　
"Yes. I bought some books."　　
Zhang Zian removed the packaging with a knife. It was book series and journals. The journals were from last year, so the price was good. Pi was not picky about the publication dates anyway.　　
Wang Qian and Li Kun looked at the Abyssinian cat breeding book next to Zhang Zian, and asked in confusion, "Master, you've been buying so many books, but we've never seen you reading them..."　　
Zhang Zian rolled his eyes at them. "Do I have to let you see me reading? Can't I buy books for other use? Cut the crap. Go back and prepare for your exams!"　　
He didn't tell anyone else about Pi's arrival for now, especially Wang Qian and Li Kun. These two idiots had big mouths and liked bragging everywhere.　　
"Yes, Master!" They spit the tongues and ran back to school.　
After they left, Zhang Zian carried the books and journals to the second floor.　
"Pi, new books again."　　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi jumped out of the basket hammock chair, and came up expectantly to look at the books. Before Zhang Zian had finished stacking the books, it took one of them and started reading greedily, nourishing itself with knowledge.　 
After seeing how happy it was, Zhang Zian felt both glad and troubled.　
A mound of books had risen next to the basket hammock chair. His old books, borrowed books, recently purchased books and journals were stacked into four peaks of a mountain. The tallest one was the same height as a person, and the smallest one was as high as the waist.　
Zhang Zian could not find the books as fast as Pi was reading them. The books would reach the ceiling in a few days.　　
Paper books were more expensive and less frequent in discount. Storage was also less convenient. Books and journals were consumables to Pi, and had little long-term 

storage value. After all, it owned a nameless book containing everything. Reading Chinese books was only to appreciate the beauty and depth of the language.　　
When not reading, Pi appeared lonely, bored and melancholic. It knew that it could not go downstairs and show up in front of other people, which might bring trouble to Zhang Zian. Even if it did go downstairs, there was nothing to do and it could not communicate with the other elfins. It might as well stay upstairs to type. But typing all day became boring too. So it often sat idly on the window sill.　　
Zhang Zian was worried about Pi, and so did Old Time Tea, the traditional Chinese medicine expert. Old Time Tea said that long-term melancholy was not healthy, and Pi would fall sick if it continued this way. In modern medical terms, Old Time Tea meant depression. When someone was alone and low-spirited for a long time without interaction with the outside world, it could end up having depression.　　
Humans were social animals, and so were monkeys. Pi might be the same, who behaved like a monkey. But Zhang Zian couldn't possibly get a troop of monkeys to play with it.　　
Many studies suggested that negative mood had a negative impact on health, and may cause a variety of acute and chronic diseases, such as gastric ulcer, endocrine disorders, hair loss, etc. He did notice a lot of short yellow hairs while sweeping the floor lately.　　
Since paper books were not enough for Pi's reading appetite, after much thinking, he decided to seek help from the omnipotent internet.　
"Pi, would you like to try online novels?" He suggested to Pi.　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi was reading in the basket chair, and was distracted by his question.　
Zhang Zian explained, "Online novels are a new form of reading as the internet grew popular. They are pretty much like the e-books, except that they were created to be shared on the internet."　　
"Eeek?"　　
Pi put down its book and typed on the laptop: "Are they fun to read?"　
"Some of them are, and some are not. Online novels have a lot of genres, and are many in number. You can always find the ones you like." Zhang Zian answered honestly. In fact, he had not read many online novels. He didn't sound very confident. 　 

Leaving literary and artistic quality aside, the biggest advantage of online novels was its volume and number. Before he could find a better solution, they could at least gratify Pi's reading appetite, and chase away the melancholy and boredom.　　
"Eeek!"　　
Pi nodded and typed: "I want to try some."　　
"Good. I'm downloading online reading apps for you."　
Zhang Zian took away the tablet, downloaded multiple popular online reading apps in the App Store, registered accounts for Pi, then taught it how to search for books.　 
Pi took back the tablet happily, and dived into the ocean of online novels.

Morning came and there was no attack, but they still prepared any way, they make bombs, training more fortified defense, like repairing the wall, strengthening it with other material, and more traps.
In the meantime, Dave was discussing how to make landmine.

"Do you get it now?" Dave asked the mage.

The mage nodded and then go and then discussed with another mage about the landmine that dave told them.
It's not hard to talk to a mage, because most of them are always on their books they are very knowledgeable.
with some concept given to them, they understood quickly, and then they start to discuss what rune they should make for the landmine.
'It's going well' he thought

time passes by quickly and then they were ready to kill anything that comes their way.
with lot's of bombs... hehe they would be destroyed real quick.
Now that he thinks about it he rarely goes to the system shop.
"Yeah, the system doesn't get income at all, please buy something, good sir..." The system lamented.

"Maybe you should give me a discount on something... maybe I would buy something." Dave deliberately said that.
"I can't! the system integrity is in line here!"
"Hoh? really now? then I guess I'm not buying anything."
But then suddenly the system announced some of the items were discounted.
Just according to plan' Dave smiled
he browsed the store and found many useless things being discounted, like food with many flavors.
"System are you kidding me?"
"The system is not joking food is useful for your stomach."
Well, he is not wrong... But I don't need them and I'm sure he knows it!
Dave gritted his teeth and keep searching for the shop, and then he finally found a good item that the system sells.
It was a spear.

the only one who god weapon that is known to people is the Eacrebia kingdom.
And most kingdoms have one Saint weapon.
Akath has a Saint weapon called Light of Salvation, it's a weapon for support, if used it can heal the whole army making them not tired and healing injury they have, but in exchange, the user lifespan would be cut for 20 years of his life. my father used it before to cure plagues that happened in the kingdom, because of that his he looks older than he looks.
Although every time people become stronger they would get added lifespan, 50 years is still plenty for my father, because he is not that powerful, he was at least Grandmaster, Grandmaster can live up to 100 years.
I don't know what life span we would get as a Warrior Saint or Archmage but I'm sure it's more than 100 years.
In one grade there is a stage, and that is low, middle, high, and perfect.
A perfect weapon is very rare, only some of them are in this world.
He found a closed space and then buy the sword, the tip was scarlet red and the handle was black.
He then asked someone who got a spear to train with them after all he needs to familiarize himself with the spear since he used a sword most of the time.
after training for a whole day, he rested.

"T-this! The Minotaurs clan is coming!" a guy inside the watchtower shouted.

everyone was nervous.

'I'm sure the minotaurs are stronger than the wolf... there must be a secret as to why the other tribe felt threatened.' Dave thought

But first, we must repel them.

He was the village chief of the minotaur Noedaran Bravefist. he got his title from fighting sword with his bare hands, his hand is thick and strong it's just like a hand of a monster.

"So what do we do sir?" one of his people asked.
"Proceed with the plan. destroy them all before they can grow."
"Yes Sir!" and then the guy shouted to prepare for battle, and then all of them charged.
this would be a terrifying charge if it's other people.
But not for dave.
*click* sound can be heard anywhere on the battlefield.
*BOOOM*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA" one of the minotaurs flew while screaming
It was a sight to behold, minotaurs flying in the air because of the explosion.
"What the hell did they use!" Noedaran was speechless, he then calms himself, they must have run out of that thing. Noedaran thought, then he commanded for the next wave to go.
And so they charged again. but suddenly from the wall, they threw a ball from the walls.
"The cactus bomb? Do they think that gonna work to us?"
While charging the minotaurs where laughing, after all, their body is so strong that, some little spike won't hinder them.
But they were surprised once again. the explosion occurred again and more casualties ensued.

"F*ck!" Noedaran roared.
Then he sees that people are jumping from the wall, that's means they are finished with their bombardment.
with that thought, he issued a command to charge
"Now everyone charge I will go too!"
Everyone was surprised the chief will go too?
But they were too afraid to ask.
 Noedaran was going to battlefield because he sensed that there is someone worthy to be his opponent.

"Aaah, the sound of the explosion it felt good, It's so satisfying! Too bad we don't have anymore explosive." he then got down the wall while carrying his spear on his back.
"Now who is the boss I wonder." He smiled, as he looked around

At the capital of Ferelden, the city of Snow.
In a sunlit afternoon, Benjamin lifted his head and walked towards the huge gate of this city.
These few days, he had taken care of countless of small things, like dealing with visitors, helping the female boss handle the problem with creating magical tools-----for magical tools, he had a plan, but he wanted to leave it aside first and talk about it later.
In his business, the time passed really quickly, and the King’s banquet date drew closer.
The King’s invitation, Benjamin did not dare to turn down. He even took the presents and fitting clothes he bought at an earlier date as presents and hurriedly left.
The location of the banquet-----Snow, was a few hundred kilometers from Rayleigh, Benjamin had to rely on his flying to reach the place on time.
Before the kingdom split, Snow was one of the largest cities in the empire. At that time, most of the second prince’s supporters were stationed here. Thus, when Icor became independent, the second prince came to this city and established Ferelden, and made this city its capital.
When he walked into this city, Benjamin had to admit this city was much more organized compared to Rayleigh.
There were no narrow gaps between the buildings, and there were no unknown roads that led to strange alleys. The roads were wide, and most of them were covered with lightly toned stone tiles which were laid straightly along the road.
Benjamin could feel the citizens give off a feeling of "I live in the capital" kind of feel as he walked on the street.
Before the kingdom split, Snow was famous for its growth and expansion. Benjamin could feel that the merchants here were way more numerous compared to Rayleigh. But, maybe for the sake of safety, when he walked for a bit, he could not see any signs of mercenaries.
This surprised Benjamin.
Banquets were normally held at night, but it was still noon, thus, he did not register himself at the palace but prepared to stroll around in the city first.
He had prepared a map before this, thus, the System had to hold its responsibility as a GPS once more.
"Turn left in front, the Mages Freemasonry will be located there, it is said that this is the headquarters of the Mages Freemasonry, if you’re interested, you can go take a look." As he walked it talked, the System was like a tour guide, and very quickly, he said so.
Benjamin heard this and raised his eyebrows.
The headquarters?
Even though he did not like this organization very much…...but might as well go take a look.
After turning left, very quickly, Benjamin arrived at a majestic building that looked like the city library.
"Greetings, what do you require?"
When he wanted to walked in, a servant-like person stopped him by the door. Plus, the person spoke with a tone as if he did not welcome Benjamin as he walked in front of him.
"What’s wrong? I’m a mage, can’t I just drop by the headquarters of the Mages Freemasonry to visit?" Benjamin kept his hands behind his back as he spoke.
"You’re a mage?" Suddenly, the person showed a confused look and took out a crystal ball-like item from the nearby beside him and used it to scrutinize Benjamin.
Benjamin frowned.
What was the meaning of this?
Very quickly, the person put down the crystal ball and said to Benjamin in an annoyed tone: "Mister, stop your pranks. We won’t allow non-mages to enter this place under normal circumstances."
What the hell?
A crystal ball that can tell who was a mage?
Benjamin felt that it was ridiculous. Thus, he put out his hand and chanted. Following that, a piece of ice appeared in his hand as he moulded it into the shape he wanted.
"With this, I should be able to prove my identity right?" He scowled.
"What…..how?" The person was in disbelief, and took out the crystal ball to shine it on Benjamin again, the more he shone it, the weirder his expression became.
Benjamin took this opportunity to examine the crystal ball.
There was dim magical energy emanating from it…..that is right, it was a magical tool. As for its usage, Benjamin figured it could tell who was a mage or not.
But, why did it not say Benjamin was a mage, no one knew why.
"What happened? Why did I feel the energy of magic?" Suddenly, a frail old voice came from behind the door.
The two of them turned to the voice. They saw a white haired mage that wore a giant black hat and was fully robed, slowly walking towards them.
Through his mental energy and the way the elements reacted around him, Benjamin could tell that this mage was a high leveled one.
The servant turned over and bowed at the frail old mage. As for the crystal ball in his hand, it shone as it was pointed at the old mage.
"Lord Mage, this…...I have no idea why, the crystal ball did not react towards him, but he is able to use magic. I do not know if I should let him in."
The old mage laughed and looked at Benjamin, saying: "It’s fine, the crystal ball is probably malfunctioning. Follow me in, you."
Benjamin heard this and nodded, not caring about what happened and followed the old mage in.
The doorman looked at them as they walked in, then looked at the crystal ball, then he took out a handkerchief to wipe away the sweat on his forehead.
With this, Benjamin entered the headquarters of the Mages Freemasonry.
There was a hall after entering, the white walls and red carpet made the place look classy. There were a few mages walking here and there, but in totality, it was a quiet place.
"Sorry about what just happened." After walking through the door, the old man turned around and smiled towards Benjamin, saying: "Greetings, I am Aldrich. You don’t look familiar, are you a newcomer mage?"
Benjamin smiled and said: "That’s alright, it’s no problem. I am Benjamin, I come from Rayleigh, nice to meet you.
"Rayleigh..." Aldrich’s faced looked as if he just understood something, and nodded, then said:" Is there anything you require for your visit to the Mages Freemasonry?"
Seeing the other person’s expression, Benjamin felt that he had been recognized.
Was the sect thing in circulation here?
But, he did not care and replied:" Nothing much really, I heard that this was the headquarters of the Mages Freemasonry, thus I came here to just take a look to see if there was any book I could borrow."
"Looking for books? You’ve come to the right place." Aldrich patted Benjamin on the shoulder and smiled, "What kind of books are you looking far? We have disrespected you, thus we will give you the benefit of borrowing books at a discounted rate."
Benjamin did not feel strange, the Mages Freemasonry worked this way, he felt that their only source of income was through lending and selling books.
He thought of the crystal ball at the door, then suddenly said: "I’m looking for books about magical tools."
At the same time, Aldrich showed a surprised expression.
"Why would you assume that we would have such books in store?"
Benjamin answered:" Because you already started using magical tools to tell if someone was a mage or not."
"An interesting young man." Hearing this, Aldrich laughed, and suddenly changed the topic, saying: "How about it? Do you have interest in joining our Mages Freemasonry?"
....What?
Benjamin did not know why the other person mentioned this, but he shook his head without hesitation.
"Why? The Mages Freemasonry is joinable if a person wished to." Aldrich narrowed his eyes, his white beard swung a little," As for now, we have yet to allow the borrowing of books on magical tools to the outside world."
"Really?" Benjamin shrugged, and said, "That’s alright, I’ll see if there is other stuff."
It was just a book on magical tools, plus, he did not even know the name, who knew if the content inside was of use? What if it was of little value, what could he do?
If he was unable to read it, it was fine, he was not willing to go that far.
Hearing this, Aldrich did not say anything. He smiled and turned around, leading Benjamin towards the front desk and introduced him to other books.
With his introduction, Benjamin found that the headquarters was really different from the branches. The books here could not be compared by the books they had in Rayleigh. Benjamin saw many books on magical theory, and even theoretical books that gave instruction on crafting potions.
He was just planning to stroll around, who knew, he managed to have a huge harvest.
"These books, can I borrow them?" Benjamin picked a few that he was interested in and said this.
"You really know how to pick, sir." Aldrich glanced at the books and smiled, saying, "These books are not allowed to be borrowed by the public, you can only read them here. But for non-members, even after paying, you can only read up to an hour."
Benjamin heard this, but was not disappointed, but showed a satisfied smile.
"One hour is enough."

The statue's hand was placed before the chest in a praying posture. The eyes and face were overflowing with a merciful and empathetic feeling that looked lively.

Hoskin beside him did his best to explain to the amnesia patient.

According to the books, the respectful sister founded and built this hospital, providing free medical services for the poor and also training a lot of famous doctors and nurses. The later generations built this statue to commemorate her and gave her the title of Saint. Right, you came to the hospital through the ICU and directly to the special ward, so you might have missed this statue. The statue was very realistic and lively in terms of restoring the respectful sister's looks but the weird thing was, the master who sculpted this statue wasn't stated in the books."
Kieran reflected on what Hoskin said.
He seemed to have seen a lot more than other natives.
"If it isn't stated in the books but the master could sculpt a Legendary statue. Had he ascended beyond human capabilities? And this sister…"
Kieran looked at the statue's merciful and emphatic facial features once more and it reminded him of a certain statue of a God without noticing.
It was very similar, not just how it was sculpted but it possessed a similar presence as well.
"Hoskin, which church is the sister from? Is that church still around?" Kieran asked and pretended to be curious.
"Sister Reid came from Marulyn Church, a small one that preached peace and had only around two hundred of them even during their prime time but unfortunately, after the war, the church vanished." The young officer sighed.
"The war?" Kieran asked once more.
With the title of amnesia patient, Kieran's questions had become natural and Hoskin answered him without any doubts.
"Yes, the war!"
"A total of three wars broke out in the past hundred years across the Union. Many lives were lost and the survivors plunged further into misery. During the Third World War, it almost triggered a catastrophic tragedy. Fortunately, during the last moments, those crazy bastards rein in at the brink of a disaster. Then, the Union was born!"
"We should be glad that we are born in this age!"
The young officer's sigh didn't resonate with Kieran.
Why would the crazy ones rein back on the verge of succeeding in what they were doing?
Kieran didn't even buy the talk one bit. There must be something that happened without commoner's knowledge.
Just like the vanishing of the Marulyn Church, regular people might see it as a common small church but how would a church with merely two hundred believers own a Legendary statue with [Protect]?
If something like that really happened, Kieran might have to reevaluate his current dungeon difficulty.
With a small church having such a legacy left behind, what about the bigger ones?
Would they be protected by divine beings or Gods?
Information! Kieran was desperately lacking information!
Kieran said to the young officer as his heart grew anxious.
"I'm quite interested in such histories. If it is not too much of a trouble, can you help me to find some related books?"
"That won't be a problem! I'll get you some related books when we return from the scene. Now, however, I think we need to get you to a clothing shop for a less eye-catching set of outfit."
Hoskin agreed immediately and pointed at Kieran's hospital gown.
Kieran didn't reject since he didn't have any fetishes towards a certain kind of bareback outfit.
As for the Legendary statue, as long as Kieran was still sane, he wouldn't carry the statue on his back and leave with that many eyes looking.
Before heading to the clothing shop, Kieran mentioned that he would like to visit the spot where the murdered nurse fell off the building along the way.
The blood on the spot had been cleaned up.
It was a big piece of concrete flooring, other than some cracks because of the fall impact and misalignment with the other parts of the ground, there was nothing unusual, regardless of naked eyes or [Tracking].
"Since 2567 you've caught the murderer that killed the nurse, she will be able to rest in peace!"
Hoskin seems to have misunderstood when he saw Kieran remain silent before the spot.
Kieran didn't further explain when he saw Hoskin's gaze acknowledging him more.
The young officer obviously had not come in contact with the underworld, so sudden explanations would only trigger unwanted problems. Besides, Kieran didn't mind the extra acknowledgments from Hoskin.
Hoskin was in-charge of his surveillance, more acknowledgments meant more convenience for Kieran in the future when he needed it.
"En!"
Kieran nodded and stood up after getting nothing in particular.
Then, the duo went to a discounted clothing shop and acquired a set of casual clothes for Kieran.
White T-shirt with blue jeans, plus a black thin jacket and a pair of sneakers.
It cost Hoskin 75 bucks for all that.
"You have to return me the money when you get your bank card compensated. You are rich and I'm just a small cop that relies on thin wages to cover my everyday expenses."
The young officer stated officially before starting the police cruiser given by the station.
Kieran sized up the cruiser which obviously had been modified with extra horsepower and bulletproof glass windows. 
"I guess it's one of the welfare from heavy crime unit, though I got it within a week when I join the force," Hoskin explained as he stepped on the accelerator pedal.
The cruiser went off like an arrow let loose.
The House of Winchester wasn't far from the hospital and with Hoskin's cheers and exciting driving along the way, the duo reached the ruins which was the Winchesters within 3 minutes.
The yellow police line was still surrounding the area.
The ruins had been cleaned up that very night. Two other officers were guarding the area and blocked anyone who wanted a peek at the scene.
Hoskin's badge allowed both of them to enter the scene easily after checking with the guarding officers.
However, after the explosion plus the cleanup, with all skills -1, Kieran's currently Grand Master [Tracking] couldn't pick up any useful traces at all.
In fact, let alone Grand Master level, even with Kieran's original Musou level, it was hard to dig up more useful leads but he wasn't entirely without findings.
Kieran didn't forget that mixture of blood and gasoline smell when he stepped into Winchester House last night.
"If the blood stench was present, it means the people inside Winchester house might be all dead, the gasoline might be the measure to destroy all the evidence and traces! Seems like someone doesn't want the police to find out who really died in Winchester House explosion… Huh?"
While deep in his thoughts, Kieran suddenly felt a faint malicious gaze grazed over his body.
"Surveillance?"
Kieran squinted his eyes.
He then quietly moved towards the young officer who was hard at wasting his effort in the ruins.

"I really deserve some break after that hell week." He uttered once more with a smile in his face.

"Look at him, he's so handsome."

"Yeah I know. He's from Southville, look at his uniform. It suits him really well right. He looks so fresh and he seems smells so fragrant."

He never mind those girls from other university who has been stalking him and it seems they are really amazed by his presence.

 Well, Lidth was really used to that kind of scenario that even at his dreams he was chased by tons of girls.

"Where are you now? Here? Nope? Where is it? "he said while scanning the shelf.

"There? Ummm, still no? Aish ? Where are you now? Here---tsk, tsk, tsk! I hate this store, it keeps me nauseous. How in hell they don't display premium manga here?" Lidth was getting pissed that time since he can't find his favourite manga.

"Where is it?"

"The shelf won't point that to you, and the book won't answer where is it." Someone's voice suddenly uttered from the opposite side of the shelf. 

When he looked at the spaces in between of the books he saw a girl wearing black jacket leaning on the shelf and covering her face with an encyclopaedia.

'Encyclopaedia? Really?'

"Why do you care? And seriously, reading encyclopaedia here huh? Don't you have that at home?" Lidth expressed but the girl remained on her position. "Do you really come here to read encyclopaedia, silly."

"Why do you care?" the girl replied and closed the book then walked away.

"What the---? Where does that girl get some guts to talk back to me huh?"  Lidth told himself. 

"Young girls are getting weirder today huh? And maybe she does not see my face that's why she just talks to me nastily just like that! Poor girl, she's so sad with her life. Aish!"

But just never mind that girl and just continued looking for his manga. "

"Excuse me miss, do you have the new manga bundle that was released two days ago? I have been searching anywhere but I can't find it." Lidth asks the saleslady.

"Ah—ye- yes Sir." The woman answered. She seems startled by Lidth Nair Estrada's presence.

Even the other customers, especially the girls were giggling and whispering.

"Would you like the discounted bundle Sir? Im sorry it is not available----"

"Do you think, I can't afford the premium bundle?" Lidth stopped the saleslady. "I can buy ten premium bundles now if I want to."

Lidth is a very popular college student of the top and most expensive school in Manila, the Southville International Academy. 

He is also a basketball varsity and a model of the top clothing and perfume brands in town. He was chased by so many girls and they idolize him so much.

 That is why this kind of situation is not strange for him.

He also came from a very powerful and influential family. They came from the clan of the best lawyers including both his parents and his Grandfather who was a previous prosecutor and now the mayor of their city.

To follow the path of his family's profession, he is currently at his third year of pre law course.
However, due to his nature of being naughty, he was skipping classes just to look for some books that he loves to read.

"Can I have it now Miss?" Lidth ask the saleslady again who was sparkling her eyes towards him. 

"Ah yes sure !This way handsome—ah I mean sir. I'll assist you to see our premium book bundles." The woman replied with full enthusiasm and a big smile on her face.

"Okay." Lidth replied with no interest at all and started to feel irritated about the saleslady's presence.
Lidth's phone rang and he immediately picked the call.

"Yes Aki?" it was his Japanese childhood best friend and classmate Akihiro. 

" Yo boy, where were you?"

"Somewhere."

"Over the rainbow?"

"Tsh, silly. What do you want?"

"You are surely at the bookstore and finding some anime books and manga that's why you left your 3 PM class". Aki replied. "Am I right?" he added.

"If you're just going to nag me about that, I'll better drop this call." Lidth surely knew that his friend will be tripping him again.

"Woah ! Take it easy hot headed fat-ass. You must go back to school now."

"I'm so sick listening to Prof. Silva's boring Art class, be back after he finishes his lecture. So you just call to tell me to go back to classes? Are you dumb? Even you'll say he'll drop me, I won't get scared either." Lidth replied proudly.

"You know I don't call you for such freaking reasons boy." Aki replied.

 Lidth's attention was diverted when he saw that girl with black jacket standing beside the tall shelves and trying to get some books. When she looks at the portion of that bookstore, it was the Almanac and World History section.

"What a weird girl, encyclopaedias and almanacs" Lidth suddenly uttered without remembering that there was Aki on the phone.

"What are you talking about?"

"Nothing?"

"Are you hallucinating?"

"Get straight to the point now Aki."

"I called you for some important reasons boy." Aki said over the phone.

"Then what is it?" Lidth felt strange by that. Aki does not speak seriously often times, or even most of the time he's not serious at all. 

"I just called to tell you that your Grandpa, Don Lucio Estrada is here, he is having his visit at our school. I'm not so sure he'll love to see you out of the class!"

"What the fuck?!Are you sure about that?!"

"Of course, and I'm sure he'll be here in a minute."

"What the---"

Aki then ended the call leaving Lidth still in a bit shock. His Grandfather was really into sharp eyes in everything that he does.

Lidth needs to be excellent in everything and should not disappoint him knowing that he holds a high political position in their place.

"That asshole's calls are always giving me trouble." Lidth began to panic thinking on how he could go back inside the school as soon as possible.

"Miss, I'll get going now." he asks over the counter.

 "Where's the book?"

"I'm really sorry sir. It is not available in this branch sir, but don't worry it is already on the way from the main branch----?" 

"Okay, okay, okay! I can'stay any longer. Just deliver them at the guard house of the SIA, here's my payment, keep the change!"

"Sir what's your name?"

"Lidth!"

He went out that bookstore and while running to his car he bumped someone and that person fell on the floor.

"Sorry!" Lidth just said and continued running without even looking back. He gets inside his car and hurriedly started it.

While he was taking his car out of the parking area of the bookstore, there was a hard object that hits his car and when he looks at his wind shield a can of soda fell.

"What the hell?" Lidth then saw the girl who wears black jacket standing just a meter away from his car. 

She crossed her arms and then waved her hand.After that she turned her back and walked away.

"She's so unbelievable!" Lidth is now bursting in irritation but he got no time for this now!

"I shall see you next time, Black Widow!"
