The King of Wanderers smiled slightly at my words. "It has been a long time? I saw you last time."

"We just passed by each other at the time."

So far, I had seen the King of Wanderers twice. The first was when Han Sooyoung and I destroyed Song Minwoo and the second was when the Disaster of Floods was killed.

This was the third time... 

The King of Wanderers slowly took off her mask. As expected, it was her face.

I asked, "When did you get out?"

"A little while ago."

We looked at each other for a moment. My mother and I didn't look alike. No matter how hard I looked, it was only a face in the late 30s. When I was a child, I often heard that she looked like my older cousin. Of course, that was when I still had my father.

"Did you live in Seoul?"

She replied, "I came to meet someone I knew."

"Then you were accidentally caught in the Seoul Dome?"

"Yes."

"You have been released. Why are you wearing the prison uniform?"

"Let's see? Perhaps it is out of a desire for atonement?"

"...Atonement? You?"

"Every human is a prisoner. They have their own prison."

I stared at my mother. That shameless tone... She really hadn't changed. She told me, "Can't you say any words of thanks? You would've had a harder time without me."

...Certainly, she helped. My mother led her forces north to the disaster. It was great, no matter how weak the disaster. In fact, I believed that she would do it properly. I hated my mother but I also knew my mother well.

"You are meeting your mother but you don't seem happy."

"Do you really want that?"

"A little bit."

How funny. I knew it was a lie but I still had to check. I said, "You have survived. You are a great survivor."

"It is thanks to the story you told me."

"...I guess so."

"You are the only one who came to the prison to see me and told me about the novel you read."

That was correct. I never had a proper conversation with my mother during all the times I visited her at the prison. I only talked about Ways of Survival. Once I became tired of it, I stopped visiting. "I didn't have anything else to say apart from the novel."

"How can that be?"

"The novel was all I had."

An image of the past came to mind before disappearing. If there hadn't been Ways of Survival or the author who wrote the story, perhaps I wouldn't be in this world right now. This story was the only comfort to the Kim Dokja who didn't have a mother or a father.

My mother muttered, "It is at most a fantasy novel..."

"In the end, you survived thanks to that novel."

We stared silently at each other for a moment.

[The constellation Secretive Plotter is looking at you with strange eyes.]

[The constellation Demon-like Judge of Fire is watching you with sad eyes.]

I was the one who broke the silence first. "What attributes did you get? It might be related to the novel I told you."

"Should I tell you?"

"Yes, if you still think of me as your child."

"I wonder if you think of me as your mother."

"A little bit."

Dammit. My mother already had this skill. There was a hint of sorrow in my mother's expression. I had no way of knowing if it was acting or not.

She asked, "Are you still holding a grudge against me?"

"I'm not here to talk about that."

"Your father was the bad guy."

"I know."

There were certainly 'bad people' in this world. One type used violence against their wives, illegally gambled and threatened their family's livelihood.

My father was a bad person. I knew it, my mother knew it and South Korea's laws said it. However...

"Your actions weren't right just because my father was a bad person."

"There are things we have to sacrifice for a better life."

"There is no such law in South Korea. There is a law that any human who commits murder should go to prison."

"You are good at speaking because you only read novels."

"For me, reality was more like a novel. Because of you."

At this point, it already wasn't a normal conversation between mother and son. This was why I didn't want to talk to her. I knew what would happen when we talked. We knew too much about how to hurt each other.

I changed the topic. "Do you know why I am looking for you?"

"Let's see?"

"I can tell when you are lying so stop beating around the bush."

My mother smiled lightly.

"You have prisoner no. 406? Lend the grandmother to me."

"...Wouldn't it be better to take the incarnation with Jeon Woochi as a sponsor than this grandmother? I have many useful incarnations."

"Jeon Woochi is Mother's companion. Besides, the grandmother will be more help."

My mother stared at me for a moment before nodding. "Certainly, she might be useful because of the opponents. By the way, how do you know the sponsor of No. 406?"

"I can't say."

"Do you have a skill to see sponsors?"

I couldn't say anything to my mother. "Are you going to lend her to me?"

"I'll lend her. Instead..."

I was a bit afraid of what she would say next. My mother would probably suggest a deal I couldn't imagine at all. She said with a faint smile, "Next time, introduce me to your friends."

I was stunned and couldn't pick my next words.

...Shit. It was a perfect blow. My mother was the best at making bad people worse.

"Dokja. Look straight at reality. Even if fiction becomes reality, you shouldn't think of fiction as reality."

I only heard a few words but my entire world seemed to shake. I knew for sure. To this, this person was the strongest reminder of the 'reality' I hated.

"Do you understand?"

Disgusting. Now she wanted to act like a mother. Too many rivers had been crossed to go back now.

I couldn't bear it anymore and stood up. "That's right. I think that fiction is like reality. Why? It is because I have always been living that way."

"Maybe it seems pathetic to you. However, know this. At least I didn't sell 'reality as fiction' like you did."

I left the tent with these last words. Cool air entered my coat's collar and reached my body. I looked in front of me and saw the slightly startled Yoo Sangah.

"I-I'm sorry... Dokja-ssi was late..."

It was difficult. No, rather than difficult... It was shameful.

"Did you hear everything?"

Yoo Sangah bowed her head in a deep apology. The crown of her head could be seen.

I eventually sighed. "Would you like to take a walk?"

We walked along the platform of Yongsan Station. It was definitely a cold wind but the temperature changed when it touched my cheeks. There wasn't time to wash my hair but a nice fragrance floated from Yoo Sangah's hair.

I asked, "How is your hangover?"

"It's okay. By the way, I heard that you carried me on your back. I'm sorry. I troubled you."

"It was because you were looking after me."

We were silent for a moment before I opened my mouth. "Do you think it is strange? Why are a mother and son talking like that?"

"That's not true."

She was lying. It was extremely strange.

"Do you want to know?"

Yoo Sangah's eyes shook for a moment. "...If you don't mind."

I smiled bitterly. Yes, now was the time to talk. I took a deep breath before saying with exaggerated tone. "My mother killed my father."

Strangely, my words sounded ridiculous. I spoke like it was someone else's story.

"She went to prison for her sin."

I continued speaking.

"My father... it is shameful to say this but he is someone meant to die. Domestic violence, gambling, guarantor... my mother and I lived in fear every day. There wasn't a single day without bruises. I was sometimes hit. Then one day, my mother made up her mind and it happened."

"Ah..."

"I thought it was quite well-known at the company. Yoo Sangah-ssi didn't know?"

There was no answer from Yoo Sangah. She realized with the benefit of hindsight that she had touched a wound she shouldn't have touched.

"Do you feel even stranger now? It is legally wrong but you don't understand why I hate my mother."

"No! I'm not Dokja-ssi so I don't fully understand..."

"Honestly, do you think I should forgive her?"

Yoo Sangah couldn't say anything. It couldn't be helped. The touched wound had already burst.

There was an awkward silence before I spoke again. "Do you know the book called the Underground Killer? It was previously on the Kyobo bestsellers list."

Talk about a book emerged all of a sudden. Yoo Sangah thought the previous topic was closed and replied awkwardly, "I think I've heard of it. Wasn't it an amazing bestseller?"

"It was an essay written by an abused woman in prison after she killed her husband. It was praised by critics at the time. They said that a Korean version of Notes from Underground had come out. Of course, it was completely overrated."

Yoo Sangah's face suddenly darkened. She had noticed. I hadn't changed the topic at all.

"That's right. My mother wrote it."

Yoo Sangah's lips dropped open.

"I still remember the time a bunch of reporters waited in front of my house.  They kept asking me if the essay was real."

"..."

"I remember everything my classmates said. They told me that my mother made money by selling murder."

"Dokja-ssi..."

"My relatives also said this. My mother is a murderer. How dare she slip her face into the newspapers?"

Yoo Sangah wanted to say something but I kept going.

"It was a bit hard because of this.  No, it was hard for a long time."

"..."

"I could bear to be the child of a murderer. However, it is different to be sold as a story. It is a different matter when my life was turned into money by someone."

I looked at the sky. It wasn't night but I was more certain than ever that the distant constellations were watching me. Perhaps this story was meant for them as well.

However, no constellations sent me coins. Should I be glad? I didn't know.

"Do you still think that I should forgive my mother?"

I didn't want an answer. I didn't want her to understand in the first place. Maybe this was the ugliest form of violence I could do against Yoo Sangah, who grew up in a well-off family. It was an arbitrary display of unhappiness forced onto someone who would never understand.

The kind Yoo Sangah would grieve knowing that it was impossible for her to understand. I laughed at the unknown sense of victory. "I'm sorry. It was a joke."

"Huh?"

"It was a lie. Were you fooled? Do you think there is a novel like this? My mother and I are ordinary people and my father was in an accident when I was young..."

Then something small and soft gripped my hand. The texture was so warm that I forgot what I was about to say. For a while... I stopped walking.

Yoo Sangah wasn't looking at me. Thus, I wasn't looking at her either. We walked hand in hand without facing each other. It was as if this alone was sufficient. Strangely, my heart gradually calmed.

Perhaps it was due to the realistic body temperature.

"Dokja-ssi!"

We neared the entrance of the station and there was the sound of people rushing forward. We reflexively let go of our hands. Jung Heewon ran over and asked, "Did the two of you kiss again?"

"K-Kiss?"

"Yoo Sangah-ssi is blushing. You did it, you did it!"

I would've misunderstood if I didn't know Yoo Sangah a bit more.

"Stop playing around. Nothing happened."

"Yes yes, I'm sure." Jung Heewon looked at me and said, "A strange grandmother came to find us. She was called by Dokja-ssi?"

An old woman with a cane walked out from the back of the party. "I hope this useless old body will be of help..."

Like other prisoners, the grandmother was wearing a blue prison uniform. She was prisoner no. 406. My mother acted very quickly.

"Are you Kim Dokja?"

"Yes, that's me."

"I've heard a lot about you from Sookyung. It is a pleasure."

"It is also a pleasure."

Sookyung was my mother's name. I looked around at the party members and said, "She is indeed the person I called. Let's depart."

We exited Yongsan Station and went to a place where people were gathered. Yoo Jonghyuk's party and the kings were already gathered there.

A white crystal slowly fell from the Great Hall in the sky. It was a crystal that shone with light.

There was darkness all around me. No matter how far I looked there was nothing but darkness.

Then I began to think. 

Where am I? What is this place? Last I remember I was .... I don't remember anything...

Who am I? I could piece together that I was a student. I remember having a family, friends and hobbies but not who or what they were. I remember how I look like. 21 years old, lean athletic build, black hair, green eyes and about 186 cm. Though not handsome I was at least easy on the eyes. I was extremely pale. So pale that I could be mistaken for a vampire.

For some reason I remembered all the movies and novels I ever saw.

It was weird and was driving me crazy.
(A/N : The MC has no knowledge of Mangas or Japanese culture in general or even comic books, he only knows of movies and a few novels so only occasionally will he have any meta knowledge about the plot)

It was then I saw something akin to a screen in front of me. For some odd reason I could understand what was written on it even though it wasn't in any language I knew of.

Even though it was vague and extremely dubious the darkness was driving me crazy. After thinking about it I chose 'Y' .

The reward for completing the mission can either be an ability acquired in that world ( Derivatives like spells for magic manipulation ability don't count, so if you choose to take light magic ability for example the related spells would naturally come with it also martial arts do not count as abilities but skills, the skills will remain with you throughout your journey once you learn them) or a slot for a person of the realm you are visiting to become your companion in your journey (you can also keep the slot for later use in a different world but then you cannot take the ability you acquired from that particular world).]

It took me some time to get over my shock. Apparently I am being isekied not to mention the fact that I have given permission to be part of an experiment whose goal I do not know. It's not like I want to go with the flow but... I DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. Angry as I may be about my situation, I know this is the only way to escape the darkness before I am driven to insanity. Firming my resolve I chose 'Y'  .

(A/N: I tweaked All Fiction a bit by adding the power to bring things back from nothingness for the story. Please do note that though powerful it will not make him OP. I was instantly hit with enormous pain. Using all my wits to bear the honestly excruciating pain I somehow manage pull through. As I regained my bearings, my mind was flooded with information about my boons as well as how to use them.

The first ability was quite helpful as it made me understand my strengths so I could plan accordingly. My second ability made me a bit nervous, I didn't want to become an emotionless robot. After understanding it thoroughly it seems it made me more like Batman on steroids, I guess I could live with that. And finally my third ability, frankly that just seems like some OP bullshit. But I know there must beings out there that can find a way around it if such an ability can be given to others so freely. 

It seems that I would at least have the power to protect myself wherever I end up.

To give it a test run I mentally said 'Status'.

Well even though it was practically being forced upon me I was kinda looking forward to escaping the darkness and being this "Journeyman". Let's hope during this experiment or whatever this is, I can dig out some more answers.

The young elve didn't reply right away, seemingly distracted by my dark hair and pale face. I guess they don't really get a lot of humans in their part of the woods. Either that or my coloring was different from the humans of this world.

… I hope there were humans nearby. Eti had called me by race, so I knew humans are in this world somewhere. Either the elves were isolated or human settlements weren't close.

Nothing against elves even though they threw me into a root ball prison, but no one likes to be treated like a lower life-form when we can communicate with each other. We're all sentient beings; it's not a matter of who is superior—because that's irrelevant. Everyone is equal with our own idiosyncrasies no matter how different we may look outside, so why don't we all just respect each other as fellow sentient beings, alright?

"Big Sister is really pretty," Ing blinked at me with large cornflower-blue eyes. She kind of reminded me of Captain Grine in coloration and slant of her eyes.

"Call me Nori."

Ing shook her head and looked a little embarrassed as she refocused, straightening herself out like she didn't just do something childish. "Ahem, my master disappeared because of a cosmic phenomenon so, of course, a mortal could not be responsible for her being missing."

"'Cosmic phenomenon?'" I parroted, not having expected that reply. Then again, the whole magic being real in this world, Gaellia, still was a new concept for me to process. It's going to take awhile for it to neatly slot itself into my brain alongside my knowledge of hard sciences.

Fictional theory read from books is different from experiencing it in the flesh, after all.

"Around this time last Spring, something in Our Mother Earth, Jorth, changed. Though Master did not notice anything amiss until the harvest moon. It was only during the last full-moon that we realized the increased number and activity of magical beasts and monsters during the cold season was related. 

"Master sent letters and missives to other scholars as soon as she realized there was a shift in the weave that foretells a lot of potential death everywhere. A gathering in Crown City, the knowledge hub of the Western Region, was to happen in two weeks to address this. It was the fastest time for everyone to gather.

"But… the planet's heart did something last night. I could see the trails of mana-flow seep from the ground and pervade everything. I was breathing mana in and out, the air was so thick with it."

Looking as Ing's eyes lose focus in recollection, I took this information seriously. I mean, a planet going active was basically a natural disaster for us tiny creatures, after all. And while I'm still coming to terms with the concept of magic existing outside of fiction and am still not sure how I ended up here, I am aware that I'm in Gaellia and would be just as affected by this as the natives.

"I went to bed uneasily last night, sent home to mother by Master. Master Verk looked preoccupied with figuring out the magical flare and how it may affect us who live by the Grace of Jorth. It was also the last I saw her. In the morning, when I went back, I saw…"

"Yes?" I prompted after Ing trailed off and scrunched her little face up.

After a long moment, she just huffed. "I'm sorry, I can't really describe what I saw in words," she then spoke a line of gibberish that sounded like the chant from earlier. "Do you understand?"

"Nope."

"I suppose that would be too much to ask and it's another mark against you being the culprit," she huffed again. "Basically, I just saw signs no mortal could have done it. And it wasn't Master's signature either."

Mike Jack, the rebel leader, persuaded the big guys, but it's not surprising that Chen Si and Mike Jack are in the same room, because it's now known that instead of taking up arms and fighting the rebels, it's better to work with them to build an Artificial Black hole and save the planet.

Chen Si: It's like your family isn't on Earth!

March 7 years ago, Chester Yao's Villa

Chester gathered Lexi in his arms.  The last ten months has been an utter disaster for her, particularly given she was only seventeen when their parents forced her into an arranged marriage.  Unlike him, she was not prepared for that.

He knew what he was getting into marrying Susan.  The idea of marrying a woman and having s*x with her turned his stomach, but he knew that he had to play by the rules and respect his marriage vows.  All he could do was gather the evidence of her ongoing infidelity and divorce her when the situation was right.

Lexi, however, was given no choice.  Their father as she was under eighteen signed the civil marriage documents on her behalf.

However, what caused it and followed shocked Chester when Lexi had told him the story.  What he needed do was prioritise Lexi's wellbeing at this time and forget what their parents wanted for her.  Lexi has just broken down and confessed everything, some things he suspected and others he had no idea about.

She had confirmed that she had been pregnant with Dominic at the time of her marriage and that Richard was not his father.  But, according to the agreement between Richard and their father Lexi had to maintain the public position that Dominic was Richard's son.

Lexi wanted to ignore the deal but their father after Richard's parents made comment about wanting to take care of their grandson made it clear that unless Lexi maintained the fiction of Dominic's parentage he would ensure that she not only lost custody of Dominic to Richard's parents, but would lose any rights to receiving entitlements in Jax Corp and it would go to Richard's parents.

As she said, she did not care about Jax Corp for herself, but cared about it for him and Andrew in the future and the potential for Dominic.  Chester tried telling her that Jax Corp did not matter, but as Lexi said it was his lifeline and Andrew was so looking forward to building a career that she could not do that to them.

Then, she unloaded on him as to what was worse.  From the time that they married, Richard was verbally and physically abusive.  He slapped her, cut her with a knife, and even raped her.  By the time that she was six months' pregnant, she was so terrified that she simply did whatever he wanted to prevent him from continuing his abuse.  All she wanted by this time was to ensure that she gave birth to a healthy child.

Then, she told him the day of Dominic's birth Richard had not only informed her that he was divorcing her he would be taking custody of Dominic as soon as Dominic was able to be separated from her.  The statement had added to it that the only reason he married her was that he was incapable of fathering children with his true wife, and Dominic would be the perfect child for them to raise.  That sent her into labour, and Richard abandoned her to go to his mistress, only showing up just before Dominic was born.

From them until his death in the vehicle accident Richard had spent most of his time with his mistress, and the two of them taunted Lexi about the soon loss of her child.  As she told him that simply shot her confidence in being an effective mother for Dominic over time eroding her ability to breast feed Dominic but to otherwise care for him.

Apparently, the day of the accident, Richard left the house telling her that he was seeing his lawyer not only to divorce her but to take custody of Dominic as she could not care for him.  When the police came to tell her that he was killed in the car accident with the woman who was his mistress did she feel some sense of relief.  But then Richard's parents started, as they wanted to take care of Dominic as according to them, she could not do so without a father, and they wanted to ensure that their grandson was raised right.

After listening to Lexi, the two questions Chester had was to confirm that Dominic's biological father was Matthew Rong, and that she still wanted to pursue her dream to become a fashion designed.  Having received that confirmation, Chester proposed to her an option, that given the recent loss of Richard could work.

She would head overseas for twelve to eighteen months to deal with the loss of her husband leaving Dominic with him and his wife, on the basis that she would regularly come back to spend time with Dominic.  Once that time was over, then there could be more arguments as to what was to happen to Dominic.

As Chester said, playing on the young grieving widow card and having Dominic stay with his Uncle and Aunt would defeat arguments.  The only promise that he extracted was within ten years Lexi had to tell Matthew the truth otherwise he would and help Matthew gain custody of Dominic.  Lexi ultimately agreed to this.

Having left his hometown with shattered relationships due to his decision to join the military Matthew Rong returns after nine and a half years, uncertain of how people will treat him.

Lexi Yao, the only person who supported his decision, left less than two years later leaving her family and her child.  Just weeks after the birth of her child in an arranged family marriage her husband of less than a year died, putting her in a position that she could not cope.  Eventually, when she was ready, she returned to her hometown to resume full-time care of her child bringing her now successful fashion business with her.

Matthew had never forgotten the promises Lexi made to marry him prior to and in the twelve months after he joined the military, despite her marriage and becoming a widow.  He hoped that he would be able to marry her and secure for them both the future that they had believed was there for them as teenagers.

Just after Matthew’s return, having reluctantly agreed to drive Matthew home after a celebration for not only his return but the engagement of their brothers, Lexi and Matthew were kidnapped by the terrorist who helped make Matthew’s career seeing his rapid promotion to General.  To protect Lexi, Matthew knew he needed to use changes in the law to protect her and their assets that the Terrorist sought to exploit and committed to her through a forced marriage ceremony at the hands of the Terrorists.

For Matthew this was the one thing that had kept him going, and for Lexi she only agreed to protect herself believing there was no legal validity in the ceremony.

On their rescue Lexi was confronted with the truth of another forced marriage and was determined to escape this to have her own life, free from domination by men.

Matthew not only was left to fight to secure the love of his life but to protect his friends and family from the terrorist who decided that they were fair game in the pursuit of his goals.

Can Matthew succeed and win?  Can Lexi learn to trust and forgive Matthew?  Will the one secret that she has been keeping for eight years drive them apart?

This is the story of their journey, with their friends and family along for the ride.

Dear Journal, I'm Steve Amadell, I'm the husband Rose and father of Mina and Kaima. 

When I was young, I lived with my mom, dad, and two sisters along with my pet, Irish Setter. At a young age, I was very active and always happy, which makes it easy to meet new people.

As I grew up, I joined a spy organization with the help of my big sister, Kaimina, who was a scientist, I became her assistant until she decided to leave to take care of her own family, so I was on my own.

Zach watched over me closely, but I didn't disappoint him, I showed him the process of my inventions, when I got to my tenth experiment, I noticed Rose spying on me, we got into a battle.

In-between the battle, we realized we had a lot in common, that night I had my first kiss.

Long story short, we quit our agency, had children and you know the rest.

Right now, Rose, Mina, Lily, and I are waiting to hear an explanation from Kaima's friends

The story goes to three angry faces, which is Steve, Rose, and Mina.

"You mean to tell us, some goddess took my sister", said Mina.

"And our daughter", Rose interrupted.

"To magical school for two years and we have no way to get or contact her", Mina finished her sentence with anger in her voice and eyes.

"Yup", said Kina, calmly.

Mina's eyes were twitching with her fangs showing and her claws, looking like she was about to burst; but instead she took a deep breath and calmed down.

"You know what, I'm not going to do it, I'm going to remain because Kaima would want that", Mina decided, then turned around. "Right, mom?"

But, once Mina asks she notices her mom is gone.

"Dad, where's mom?" Mina asks Steve with a dark aura around her.

Steve pointed to the museum, where they hear a noise from there.

"Should we check on her?" asked Kina.

"How about we don't, and said we did", suggested Jasmine.

"Jasmine!" Yelled everybody.

"Alright! Alright!" Jasmine waved her hands to calm them down.

Everybody enters the museum seeing objects flying.

"We are going to owe the city a lot of money", said Jasmine.

"Anybody know a millionaire?" asked Lily.

Everybody looks at Ben.

"Why me?" asked Ben.

"You seem the type", Kina replied.

The others agree.

Ben texts a friend of his and gets money in his bank account.

Steve heads to Rose, where more heavier objects, but Mina moves past him, knocking the objects out of the way; and grabs Rose by the collar dragging her out.

Ben moves his phone from his face and says "Miss Amadell, you owe me fifty million dollars".

"Oh crap!" complained Rose.

"Mom, what were you thinking?" asked Mina.

"Just let out something", said Rose.

"Next time, use rocks", said Muna.

"Okay", said Rose, then takes Steve's hand, and gets up.

Steve hugs Rose, and says "You were crying, right?"

Rose wipes her eyes, and says "No".

 "We were crying too, even though it was only two years, it's still awful to think that she'll be gone for this… that long", Kina admitted, sounding upset, then hit a car.

"We all feel the same so let's focus our anger and use it on our way to whoever caused this disaster", Jasmine decided.

"That's what I'm thinking too", said Mina, with a red aura around her.

"Wait! Before you get fired up, Dr. Liama texted me that the person's location is 1unknown, even by teleportation", Kina saw on her phone.

"Well, that's great, did she locate the location,she was last seen?" wondered Annabelle.

"Yeah, in the mountains", Kina answers. "But, it's not useful after all nothing bad is happening anymore".

"Well, let's just investigate the scene of the crime", suggested Lily with sunglasses on.

"Good idea", said Rose. "Let's stop wasting time and go".

Kina sets up a teleportation app, which takes them to the mountains, where they see a bunch of wolves panicking and changing into different animals.

"I guess, this is the place", said Jasmine.

"No, duh. Poor creatures", said Mina.

Mina walks up to one of the wolves and points to her ears, tail, and claws.

The wolf put his paw on Mina's hand, and bit on her ear.

"How cute", said Mina, rolling around with the wolf.

"That doesn't hurt?" asked Annabelle, curious.

"Strangely, no", Mina responds with wolf cubs playing with her.

"Must be part of her powers", Annabelle figures out.

One of the wolves walks up to Mina, showing a fierce look in his eyes and commanding presence, also he has big white wings.

"Who are you?" asked the wolf.

"I'm Mina", said Mina, as she stands up.

"Do you know the human that changed us?" asked the wolf.

"I do", said Mina, remembering her text message.

"My name is Wolfie, and I would like to help you with this mission", the wolf told Mina.

Mina takes Wolfie's paws, and says "Sure, let's go".

Wolfie licks Mina's face, and says "Great".

An aura centers around Wolfie, as he spreads his wings, this aura makes feathers from his wings appear in Mina, Jasmine, Kina, Annabelle, and Marvin's hands.

"Where's Mrs. and Mr. Amadell, and Ben?" asked Jasmine.

"They went further into the mountains", Annabelle says, as she examines the feather.

"They really want to be detectives", said Jasmine.

"Jasmine, focus on reality, they're trying to find evidence for the person that caused this disaster", complained Kina.

"I wish we could help them", said Lily.

"I wish we could get behind the magic situation in general", Jasmine wished.

"How can she jump from child to teenager?" asked Lily, curiously.

Once Jasmine and Lily made their wishes the feathers disappear.

"Huh? My feather is gone", Jasmine noticed.

"Mine too", said Lily, shocked.

"After you make a wish, it disappears immediately", said Wolfie. "And it will come true, the wish".

"I'm never going to get used to magic", Mina admitted.

Mina looks at the feather with a smile, and says "If the wishes come true, I wish to understand magic and my own powers for Kaima".

The feather disappears and starts glowing, which makes her levitate in the air.

Once she landed on the ground.

Mina's outfit changes into a long red dress, gloves, yellow heels.

"I understand", said Mina, teaches into her pocket and looks into her phone and seeva message from Dr. Liama.

"I got to find mom and dad, be right back", said Mina.

"Mina, just use the teleportation app", Lily tells Mina.

"They don't work because of the magic here", Mina told Lily back as she heard further in the mountains.

Further in the mountains, Rose, Steve, and Ben are examining the grass, where they see glowing footprints that hold off Aria Well's DNA.

"Bingo", said Rose, as she held a ville.

"We can find the person now", said Steve, as he puts his phone close to the ville and scans it.

"What did you find, Steve?" wondered Rose.

"Her name is Aria Wells, she has a brother, there's nothing of her working anywhere, just records from Elementary to now, doing experiments to find the strange and bizarre things, she's like Dr. Liama", Steve and Ben explained.

"Except Dr. Liama does it for science, but Aria Well does it for science fiction", said Rose.

"But once we find her, should we really take her to jail?" questioned Mina, walking to her parents and Ben.

"It's not that Aria did anything illegal, after all the animals are safe and the people have calmed down, even the people apart from the news", Mina pointed out.

"True, and we might have a hard time, since she might be in league with Zach, which explains how come we couldn't pick her trace or her brother", said Rose.

"So, what do we do now?" asked Steve.

"Of course, we should find her, no one or animal is hurt now, but if she does something rash like this again, we might be that lucky as we were", said Mina.

"True", said Ben.

"But, later I got a message from Dr. Liama that the mayor wants us now", said Mina.

Kina holds her feather, and says "I wish we are at home, the mayor's office".

After that they disappear, and reappear at the mayor's office a.k.a. it's Mina, Annabelle, Jasmine, Kina, Lily, Steve, Rose, and Ben.

In the mayor's office is Dr. Liama, Cat, Neddy, and two special people.

The mayor has short brown hair, wearing a blue jacket, white suit, and black shoes.

The other person is Xeno Mars, a man who has long red hair, wearing a black suit and black shoes.

"Welcome back", said Cat, with a smile.

"What's going on?" asked Annabelle.

"I have asked you here, so you can relocate all of the magical items that could cause trouble to a remote Island", The mayor requested.

"That's it", said Kina.

"Yes, since we can't use our teleportation app, we'll have to do it the old fashion way, which is the new way a.k.a. the mutant way", said the mayor.

After he said that, Mina knew that he meant her, we said 'mutants'.

"Fine, Marvin, can I borrow your feather?" Mina asks Marvin.

Marvin hands over his feather to Mina, and says "I wish for Mina to be able to teleport to and from the remote island".

The feather glows, and the aura from it surrounds Mina.

Mina's eyes glow, looks at everybody and says "I'll be right back".

"Let me come with you", Lily asked. "I need something to lighten my mood".

Mina smiles, takes Lily's hand, and says "Sure, let's go".

A white aura in the shape of a butterfly appears in front of Lily and Mina, and they both go into the portal.

One second I was watching as the place we were in was collapsing around us the next I was standing in a hallway. The way I'm facing giving off a warm glow from the light inside, and the other disappeared into darkness.

"Do come in, now that we are out of there we can talk more properly." A voice drifted from inside welcoming me.

Heeding their call I take a step forward and am introduced to the sight of a large library. Fionna could be seen sitting down at a table off to the left pouring a dark liquid into a cup, steam rising out of it. 

"would you like a drink?" Gesturing to cup as I walk over. "Please, have a seat, enjoy. Tae Órga is made from leaves straight out of Fiáin's garden. Anything out of the wilderness goddesses garden is bound to be miraculous, but this one is exceptional. Consider the benefits you get from it as.... Restitution. Even in part for the trouble my peers have caused you."

"I," Thinking about her words, I sit down. "thank you." 

"This was all supposed to go a lot differently, but I can't change the past. Only Lucas could do that, but he has been lost in time. I suppose Anord could as well. But as he might say." 

"There's no fun in that." I finish for her. taking a sip of the golden liquid I can't help but exclaim "Good tea!" as it hits my tongue. The taste undescribable because I've never had anything as good as it. Swallowing I feel a energy spread through out my body originating from everywhere it touches.

"Yes, exactly. You seem to have already picked up on his behavior. But that's not his only personality so don't expect the same from him every time." Taking a sip from her own cup a nostalgic look appears on her face. "I guess I will just tell you. The point of me calling you wasn't so that any of the three could take you on as their champion. It was actually to give you some information as well as a warning."

"Yes, well... The Gods used to be very active in this world. But a disaster happened, and we could can no longer directly influence this world. It's why you're here actually." Pausing Feonna looked at me for a moment before continuing. " I know it was kind of selfish of us but to be honest, we needed help. The majority of the gods have either gone into an endless sleep or lost themselves to their own aspect. In a desperate attempt Lucas called out and you responded. But the price was high, and our king was lost to that which he held power over."

Stuck between taking another sip of the tea I awkwardly gulped gulped what was in my mouth. "But... Why?"

"Lucas was nearing his end anyways, time is something that not even a good aspected to it can hope to fully control. Anord, well he wasn't always the God of Chaos. But as payment for invoking the probability his mind was broken. Perhaps twisted would be more apt. He was the same, but different. They both knew the price, but there was no other way to guarantee that Ardtús would be saved unless Astra went against fate to read into the depths of the universe. After she came back and told what he Lucas needed she went mad. Lucas was torn with grief, but still sacrificed him self." 

Sorrow spread across her face after talking to this point. Not wanting to disturb her I waited patiently while continuing to sip from my cup. 

After collecting her self, Fionna continued. "Thus, Anord came into being and Lucas fell from his seat of power. You must be asking your self, why they would pay such a price for you? That, I can't tell you  because I don't know my self. I don't know what Astra saw, but I do know that the fates believe you are the best chance to help Ardtús. Our planet is housing more than humans. They are actually the minority, the rest of the planet is housing monsters. Not all of them bad, nor are they all strong. But the ones in power know that we have called for help, they will be looking for you. There is also those in higher seats within the people that have been corrupted by those beasts."

At some point I had put my cup down and just stared. This was too much, "I'm just one person.." what could I do to help. But thinking about it, there was a lot I could do. I have no need to be cautious, I wouldn't be reckless but this burden wouldn't be the death of me. Feeling my resolve, I looked into Feonna's eyes. "What can I do to help?

"For now, all you can do is grow and with that growth get stronger. I've already remedied the situation at the temple, no one there will speak nor be able to recall anything of your ascension. Once you get back you will go through another ceremony. Lucas and Astra know of your ability. So they left behind their insights into the aspects they had power over. I won't tell you of their location now, but once you have 'Returned to Origin' we will talk again." 

Letting me digest everything for a bit Fionna turned her attention to her tea. Taking another sip my self and finishing off the cup I pondered on what she had told me. I suppose I am sort of like a hero, in a way it's kind of exciting but.. All I feel is the pressure. If I fall it's just game over for me, but then everyone else will suffer because of it.
