200 years ago man created the greatest AI known but this Machine eventually grew a mind of its own and evetually it's own body, it rose up with others like it against the human race this battle went on for about 20 years and nature and most resources were dieing off cause of the continuing battles but the final battle it released a large blast but is wasn't a bomb it was something else entirely, the machines had something hidden down their main base, something that wasn't human or machine something not of this earth, the blast brought back nature it changed it along with the humans and Machines closes to the blast.....both of them went a evolution of some sorts and because of this both sides where able to form a peace ending the war



Lia Giles became a border guard and mechanic for the power lines on the in between of the main city and the unearthly forests, no longer being able to stand living in the high technology world where humans are treated like second class citizens. On one of her patrols she discovers something or more like someone that no one has ever seen before.

"Hello ladies and gents, I well come you to our countries Expo!"

"Welcome, esteemed guests. I urge you to listen to our presentation, starting in five minutes."

"You don't know about the Martial Arts Hall?"
After Jiang Yi had explained about the situation of the Martial Arts Hall in detail, Feng Luan's eyes flashed with chilling light as she quickly spoke, "The faction that Master is talking about, might be similar to a merchant association on the continent. However, this association has a long history and has always been low-key. They never contend for power and simply did businesses. It seems like they never had conflicts with other clans and are in good terms with many clans. Maybe that's why we didn't pay much attention to them. Oh right… their name seems to be Martial Union Merchant Association."
"Martial Union Merchant Association!"
Jiang Yi laughed sarcastically. Wasn't the Martial Arts Hall just a merchant association on the Stellarsky Continent as well? Let alone the smaller-scaled clans, even those major clans didn't know of the Martial Arts Hall's true identity. They had always concealed themselves very well and didn't go contending for power. They were the uncrowned king of the continent.
However, the Martial Arts Hall on the Phoenix Cry Continent was a little strange. They might be very low-key on the Stellarsky Continent, but all the kingdom's rulers knew that the Martial Arts Hall was very formidable. Over here, not even the ruler of the continent knew about their hidden strength.
Forget about them!
He might have subdued a Heaven Monarch soul slave, but Jiang Yi didn't want to immediately and rashly raze all the Martial Arts Branch Hall. What he needed right now was to find a way to obtain the Destitute Dragon Grass, to search for Yu Wen on the East Imperial Continent, and to look out for information about Su Ruoxue. As for taking revenge on the Martial Arts Hall, his current strength would be like a mantis going against a truck—it was far from enough.
"Destitute Dragon Grass. Feng'er, do you know where to find the Destitute Dragon Grass?" Jiang Yi turned around to ask again, but he didn't expect much.
Feng Luan blinked her eyes and shook her head as expected. "The Destitute Dragon Grass is a cardinal treasure of heaven and earth. Feng'er did hear of it, but as soon as it appears, it would be immediately fought over by those major clans. It will be harder to obtain it than ascending to heaven."
"Sigh…"
Jiang Yi sighed and stared blankly at the map of East Imperial Continent, thinking of when he should go there.
"Master!"
A shy voice echoed, and Jiang Yi lifted his head to see Feng Luan looking at him with a miserable face. She was biting on her lips and seemingly wanted to say something but didn't dare to.
"What's wrong, Feng'er?"
Jiang Yi lifted his brows and turned around. Feng Luan's eyes revealed a trace of determination as she suddenly walked in front of Jiang Yi and knelt down. "Master, are you thinking of going to the East Imperial Continent?"
Jiang Yi knitted his brows and nodded. "Yes? What about it?"
Feng Luan bowed deeply and gave three bows before she clenched her teeth and said, "Could Master delay the departure for the East Imperial Continent? Phoenix Cry Continent is going through a calamity. If Feng'er is to leave now, the continent would be decimated; and all the citizens would perish. Feng'er earnest request for Master to give her some time. Once the calamity is over, Feng'er will serve as Master's attendant willingly. Even if Master was to break the ten-year promise he mentioned earlier, Feng'er wouldn't have any complaints."
"Uh?"
Jiang Yi understood a little, and before he could even think about it, the recuperating Qing Yu had opened her eyes and walked over quickly. She knelt down beside Feng Luan and bowed deeply, earnestly requesting as well. "Will Master please be merciful. Both Qing Yu and Thearch would be grateful for your kindness, and they will not forget it for their entire life. The citizens of the Phoenix Cry Continent would also be eternally grateful."
It seemed like Qing Yu had already awakened, but she was pretending to recuperate. When she heard about Feng Luan's request, she naturally came and requested earnestly as well.
In fact…!
The two of them were having a sullen expression. One of them was the dictator of the continent, and the other was one of the 15 martial experts. It was their obligation to resist against the Merman Race's attacks. Hence, their hearts couldn't just abandon the continent.
Right now, the two of them were Jiang Yi's slaves. One of them was a soul slave, and the other was a slave that had offered her soul seal—which made her almost a soul slave as well. If Jiang Yi was to forcefully bring them away, the two of them would have to leave with agony. They didn't dare to disobey Jiang Yi's orders, and so they were pleading Jiang Yi to be merciful.
Jiang Yi muttered to himself and was in a dilemma.
Rationally, he should immediately depart. The Phoenix Cry Continent was too dangerous, and he didn't know if he could survive if he stayed behind. Feng Luan and Qing Yu had a high possibility of dying in this place as well. If the two of them were dead, then it would be a great loss. Furthermore, there was a large possibility of getting discovered by the Martial Arts Hall.
Feng Luan and Qing Yu were currently his people, and he didn't feel good to see them suffering in their hearts. He had already forgiven the fact that Qing Yu tortured him and Feng Luan wanted to refine him into a soul slave. It was simply a difference in opinions and principles. They didn't do anything wrong, and they ultimately didn't cause any huge losses for him.
Besides, if the two of them were to leave, the Phoenix Cry Continent would definitely be cleansed with blood and would be eradicated. The millions of citizens would be slaughtered and dismembered by the Merman Race. The entire Phoenix Cry Continent would be turned into an Asura Hell.
Jiang Yi would then be the main culprit that caused this calamity; the Lion Chi Thearch had come because of him. He would then be destined to carry this debt of blood for the rest of his life.
"You and I both belong to the human race. When you are hunted by the demon clan—out of humanitarian concerns, I should save you."
Jiang Yi suddenly recalled about the purple-haired young lady's statement and felt a shiver in his heart. That young lady, who had nothing to do with him, had actually rescued him just because they were both of the human race and out of humanitarian concerns.
Now that the demon race was about the ravage the Phoenix Cry Continent and kill his human race's comrades, how could he just look on and do nothing? How could he even think of taking away the strongest combatants on the Phoenix Cry Continent?
He suddenly stood up and said in a serious voice, "Alright! I promise you. That ten years promise is still in effect. If possible, I will even help you kill all the demon race's experts."
"Ah?"
Feng Luan and Qing Yu looked at each other. Their faces were filled with astonishment that quickly turned into ecstasy. They weren't certain that they could resist against the Merman Race's army, and it was the best decision for Jiang Yi to bring them away—as staying behind would be a foolish behavior.
Now that Jiang Yi had actually agreed, he even maintained that ten-year promise with them. He was also going to help them fight against the demon race?
The two of them were looking at Jiang Yi with different eyes. They had looked down upon on men from a young age and assumed that all men were cowards, useless people without a trace of bravery. Now seeing how Jiang Yi was behaving, they had a new definition towards men in their hearts.
This man was truly different from the other men on their continent. This was a true man, a man with an indomitable spirit!
Jiang Yi didn't know about the changes in their hearts as he simply waved his hand and said, "Get up. In the future, don't just kneel so casually. I do not have so many rules and don't call me Master as well. On the outside, I am your male pet. When no one else is around, you can call me Jiang Yi or Young Master."
"En!"
The two of them stood up. Jiang Yi stayed silent for a moment and spoke to Feng Luan, "Feng'er, you continue your work. Go and arrange how you are going to resist against the demon race's army and how to fight the war. It will not be good for me to interfere or show up. If the enemy's demon emperor makes a move, just inform me; and I will adapt and assist you accordingly."
"Okay, Mas… Young Master, please rest here first. Feng'er will go and make arrangements!"
Feng Luan walked out with light steps. All the resentment, bewilderment, and agony that she originally had were all much more relieved right now.
Jiang Yi had promised to stay and resist against this calamity. She might perish in this battle, but it didn't matter if she had to die—it didn't matter if she was a soul slave either. The puzzle in her heart had been solved.
If Jiang Yi didn't interfere in her freedom or operations, then everything was the same to her. She had no time to accompany Jiang Yi either as she might have many things to do. She had to lead the citizens of the Phoenix Cry Continent and fight to the death with the demon race.
Buzz!
The restriction in the palace was released. When the Phoenix Cry Thearch walked out of the castle, she looked at the clear blue sky; and the countless soldiers and subordinates before the sky. She had a feeling that she had just passed a lifetime. She went from heaven to hell… and from hell back to heaven. Was she going to fall from heaven again and back into hell?
She didn't know!
She just knew that from today onward… she didn't belong to herself. She belonged to a man named Jiang Yi.

Ethiopia, the outer slums of Addis Ababa.

In an open field outside of Addis Ababa, 50,000 Ethiopian citizens and government workers sat around a large stage. On the stage, a peace choir of Ethiopian and Korean children sang the song "Arirang" in a soothing tone. 

As the tranquil song rang out, a group of old men sang along with the bits they remembered from 60 years ago. Tears ran down their faces. These men had left their home country of Ethiopia, journeyed to Korea in the far East, and fought for democracy in the Korean War.

Ethiopia sent a total of 6,037 soldiers during the Korean War. Among them, 123 died and 536 were injured. After 1974, a communist government gained power in Ethiopia and accused those who fought in the Korean War of being rebels towards the communist government. Instead of being treated like heroes that protected democracy, they were fired from their jobs and had to hide their participation in the war. They were often forced to leave their homes and live in the slums. In 1991, an interim government was established. The veterans were given pensions again, but it was less than five dollars each month. That wasn't nearly enough to live on, even after the veterans were thrust down to the lowest social class. 

The bravery and sacrifice of the Ethiopian people allowed Korea to develop the fifth most powerful economy in the world, but the Ethiopian veterans were cast down to the lowest social class. Their descendants lived in poverty. After founding the Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants, the Korean government decided to make Ethiopia their first stop.

When the singing was over, the children's choir split in half and a middle-aged man walked forward to the stage. A moment later, he fell to his knees and bowed to the 50,000 Ethiopian citizens. The crowd began buzzing at the sight of the unusual greeting, but they seemed to understand the meaning behind it, and applause began to sweep through the crowd. After the middle-aged man got back to his feet, he took the microphone and spoke. 

"Hello everyone? Thank you. I am Youn Hyun-jin, the representative of Korea."

When the Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants was established, ex-Minister of Welfare Youn Hyun-jin was appointed as the organization's first leader. 

"First, with all my heart, I would like to thank the veterans who risked their lives to protect Korea's democracy 69 years ago, the citizens who supported us, and the deceased emperor Haile Selassie."

In response, the crowd of Ethiopian citizens applauded.

"The Korean citizens and I all know that without the Ethiopian veterans, citizens, and emperor Haile Selassie, I wouldn't be standing here today. You are the reason we preserved our democracy and grew strong. We are grateful, and we are also sorry. We feel guilt for coming too late. We should have thanked each veteran when they were alive, but now there are only 30 left, and we are sorry and ashamed."

Director Youn Hyun-jin seemed to choke up during his opening words, and he took a second to breathe deeply before continuing his speech. 

"Korea will work with Ethiopia from now on. Ethiopia sacrificed lives to protect our nation 69 years ago. You are a blood ally. We promise aid on a national level that we will do our best to make this nation happy and a great place to live in."

When Director Youn Hyun-jin's greeting was finished, the 30 veterans seated in the front cried tears of joy. An old veteran who left his nation at the tender age of 18 stood at the front of the crowd. He had suffered through a bitter cold he never felt, and watched as his friends died. He waved the Korean flag high in the sky with his left hand, because he had lost his right hand to a gunshot wound.

"My friends who are gone, your deaths were not in vain!" the old veteran shouted.

After the ceremony, the Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants spent five days meeting with investment corporations and the Ethiopian government. They formed a memorandum of understanding to promote investment between the two nations. This allowed both nations to form a business partnership with the purpose of showing gratitude towards the veterans in the Korean War.

Policies for the Korean War veterans and their descendants:

1. A 20,000 dollar payment for each veteran (10,000 dollars for deceased veterans, an additional 5000 dollars for injured veterans, and a monthly payment of 100 dollars to surviving veterans).

2. Housing for veterans.

3. Free education and the opportunity to study abroad in Korea for up to three generations of veterans' descendants. If desired, aid would be given in seeking employment in Korea. 

4. Free flights for families of veterans. 

5. A commemorative building for Korean War veterans.

Policies for the Ethiopian government:

1. Provide and exchange investment information for promoting the economy, and conduct joint research. (Establish facilities and technology for primary and secondary industries, and jointly create corporations for tertiary industries).

2. Jointly promote various industries and investments. (Build five large general clinics across the nation, roads that connect each state, 100 elementary schools, and 200 water filtering facilities).

3. Share investment attraction experience and dispatch experts: establish Ethiopian branches of corporations from Korea and build factories for cars, semiconductors, and other electronics. (Joint development, surveying of underground resources, and transferral of experts in medicine, law, and other fields).

The Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants had chosen Ethiopia as their first target because of its attractiveness to foreign investors and its population. With its 96.63 million citizens, it was the second most populated nation in Africa. 

It was also intended to restart the 5-year economic growth plan dubbed "Growth Transformation Plan." The plan had been finished in 2015, and a GTP 2 couldn't be enacted under the threat of war. However, the final reason for choosing Ethiopia was the special minerals that could only be mined in Ethiopia. This reason was carefully kept secret. Therefore, the Korean government used the investments and aid to gain control of development rights for as many natural resources as possible.

June 17th, 2019 19:30 (Ethiopia Standard Time 13:30)

Ethiopia Addis Ababa slums. 

Two hundred children gleefully played soccer in an open park, using soccer balls given to them by the Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants. Despite wearing poorly made shoes or being barefoot as they played on the rough dirt, none of the children had sadness on their faces. Everyone was smiling brightly. The reason for their joy was simple; the 1500 cobbled-together houses of the nearby shantytown would be torn down, and a large scale housing development would be constructed to replace them. These children were descendants of the veterans from the Korean War. 

Employees from the Humanitarian Cooperative walked over to the playing children, their arms full. They were carrying snacks and candy prepared privately for the children. When one of the employees clapped his hands for the children to gather, all of them stopped playing soccer and gathered around. After they received the candy and snacks, their faces lit up. Some danced in delight, while others immediately tore into the food. 

Chief Oh Eun-ah from the Humanitarian Cooperative saw a little girl who was holding her snacks instead of eating them. She bent down to ask the girl a question.

"Why aren't you eating?"

The child put the snacks on the floor with wide eyes and signed towards Chief Oh Eun-ah. When Oh Eun-ah became embarrassed because she didn't know sign language, one of the boys answered instead.

"She is going to take it back home to her sister."

"Oh, how kind of you. I will give you more for your sibling as well, so you can eat them now."

When the little boy conveyed the message via sign language, the girl carefully unwrapped the snacks and began eating.

"Why can't she speak?" Chief Oh Eun-ah asked the boy.

"She's been malnourished since she was little, so she can't talk. Her younger sister is too weak to leave the house."

Chief Oh Eun-ah swallowed the lump in her throat and blinked rapidly to get rid of the tears in her eyes so the children wouldn't see.

"Where do you live?" she asked the girl with a smile.

When the boy translated in sign language for the girl, she pointed towards her house. Chief Oh Eun-ah called over another employee.

"Mr. Kang?"

"Yes, Chief Oh."

"Bring a variety of snacks for her to take home."

"All right."

When Kang Hyun-ho handed the little girl a bag packed with snacks, she bowed her head repeatedly in thanks. 

This might have been the happiest that these children had been in their lives. These children had inherited suffering because of what the communist government did to their grandfathers. As the kids returned to their homes, the employees of the Humanitarian Cooperative hoped that they would be able to live better lives from now on. 

The next day, after making an official report to the Humanitarian Cooperative, Chief Oh visited the home of the girl she had met the previous day. Flies buzzed around the hut, and unwashed blankets covered a bed made of wooden planks. On top of the bed was a gaunt six-year-old girl.

The girl's grandmother told Chief Oh that her father-in-law was an officer from the emperor's personal guard. He went to fight in the Korean War in 1951, and he passed away on the eastern front when her husband was two years old. When the communist regime gained power in 1971, her husband couldn't find a job because his father had been labeled a rebel. Therefore, he had worked as manual labor his entire life, but they were always too poor to leave the slums.

Her eldest son died from disease, and her daughter left two children behind to work in the city, so the grandmother took care of the children herself. The eldest child lost her voice from malnutrition, and the second was too weak to walk. Chief Oh and the other employees from the Humanitarian Cooperative all had tears in their eyes again, and their hearts tightened and ached.

When the girls' grandfather returned home after an hour, Humanitarian Cooperative told them about the various sources of aid that were available to them. Chief Oh decided to take their six-year-old granddaughter to the hospital immediately. Also, she made notes to provide food, money, and other necessities to the family until the official reparations were paid. 

As the first stage of the New Vision Committee's plan got underway, the Humanitarian Cooperative for Korean War Participants expanded their aid from Ethiopia to Columbia, the Phillippines, Thailand, and South Africa.

During the morning twilight when most are still sleeping off the stress of the day's work since the sound of the ever so busy market has been at rest, while few are about to prepare for the day's work, as the air at the time was so relaxing and refreshing, the light was neither bright nor dark it was somewhere in between but it was still visible to distinguish one thing from the other. 
At the palace in the king's chamber the king was awake; he couldn't sleep as he was pondering on what his sister the second princess requested for as that of the note she said to have left on her bed; he felt threaten by what are words could mean but when he considered the uprising of criminal activities in the kingdom as that of the deeds of the general; always turning a simple order to a crisis, ignoring certain tasks assigned that doesn't meet his own taste, and certain members of the council always supporting his words and action over his own while ignoring his insubordination, he began to think a conspiracy could be in play.
"His actions are either to torment me, if not test my resolve… I hope for his sake, his doing it for the good of the kingdom… or he and his associates might just live to regret it… either way… I'll need to know who is with me and otherwise as that of resolving the issues before things get out of hand" the king whispered unconsciously as he was concluding his thoughts on bed as his wife the queen was resting on his chest fast asleep, unaware of her husband troubles. 
At the chamber of the second princess, the lady was still reminiscing on the encounter and stroll with the wanderer as that of his words as she laid in her bed cuddling her pillow wondering why his words has a certain level of familiarity as that of comfort to her. The rest of the family as that of their subjects were still resting at least the once not on guard duty while at the art studio where the wanderer is staying. Duncan was still sleeping, the wanderer's uncle was at the studio unable to sleep due to his anxiety and curiosity to know what was happening as that of knowing what the possible outcome of his nephew's present in the kingdom would be; he kept painting to kill the time and distract himself while the wanderer was also awake; unable to sleep due to a nightmare he kept having each time he close his eyes; he left his room heading downstairs to get a cup of water.
"I'll take it you couldn't sleep... Abidemi... I guess you're still having those nightmares" his uncle said hearing a faint sound as his nephew was coming down the stairs, heading to the studio 
"Not exactly... Just felt a bit thirsty, that's all" he replied after reaching the end of the stairs, as he looked around, searching for where the kitchen is with hope of getting a cup of water.
"if you say so… however if you were having one, it would be  okay… it only shows you're human and that you still have some, if not a little shred of humanity" his uncle said as he paint.
"And who said I wasn't human or concluded that I didn't have a shred of humanity? Because as far as I know I have been quite the humanitarian, not to brag or anything… of course" he said with a rather calm voice which seem to have no sign of anger or rage just curiosity and humor, walking towards his uncle as he kept looking around and making stops to take a look at each painting in his pathway.
"A humanitarian… huh?" his uncle asked scoffing. 
"Is that what you tell yourself to help you sleep at night or what you tell yourself before you silent your victims? The wanderer or should I call you the wandering ghost?" his uncle continued in annoyance.
"Maybe and maybe not… either way everyone that met their end at my hands are those that had it coming to them… besides their end was a bit too peaceful than what they deserve" he replied justifying his act.
"Everyone? Huh? I guess that would be right about the chief of the right and general of the wave kingdom…hell, your act might even be consider patriotic, to have taken care of the Lynar nobles and chiefs but what about the previous king… the previous king of the Radiant Kingdom, did he had his coming too?" his uncle asked in annoyance as he broke his painting brush. "you won't believe it if I tell you… besides since you know this much, you should have an answer to the question you just asked… in other words, there is no point in me answering" he replied upon getting close to his uncle; standing right behind him with no sign of rage or anger in his voice.
"However I'll admit am a bit impress by how much you've been able to gather… it's almost amazing… almost… but it's disappointing seeing how you use it" he added picking the other broken half of his uncle's painting brush.
"Do you really think the way you're acting will change the cycle of things? Complaining and ranting about how you feel isn't enough to persuade me nor will it make me succumb to your will, uncle… After all you of all people should know how dangerous dialog with no leverage but one's emotional believe is... I guess 18years is not enough time to learn from one's past action" he continued after picking the broken piece of his uncle's brush.
"why you little…!" his uncle respond enraged after he stood grabbing his nephew by the neck as he pointed the other broken piece of his painting brush to his nephew's heart with intention of piercing his nephew's heart with the broken brush.  
"hmm… this brings back memories now doesn't it, uncle… and for a bonus it shows how quickly you get worked up as that of how you can give out hostility but can't take it, when returned… it will be wise to actually see it through this time because you might not get another chance, after all you might be able to save the king and a few lives if you just drive it through my heart this time" he said employing his uncle to do as he intend with no resistance or struggle.
"Even now, you still don't feel any sense of fear or fright… your eyes are as cold and empty just like the first time… are you even human?" his uncle asked getting more annoyed by his calmness and words.
"It's not that… after all am not so arrogant I would believe am inhuman nor do I believe I can change the world without sacrifice… but still I just want to try my best… in my own way, even if it means getting my hands dirty… I don't expect you to understand it, so, hate me or be hostile toward me, if you wish but even that can't change the past" he thought as he smiled concealing his actual feelings 
"Asked the man, who is squeezing my neck with the intent of piercing my heart with a broken piece of a painting brush… how artistic" he replied in humor as he smiled looking at the irony of his question to his action. After hearing his reply his uncle realized his anger was getting the best of him and he was just getting worked up for nothing, if not making things worse, he released his hand from his neck; letting go of his neck as he drop the broken piece of the brush, he sat back on his chair, confused and disturbed by his action and his nephew's words while feeling guilty, thinking he overreacted.
"How disappointing… I actually thought you were going to see it through this time... I guess you're all back and no bite" he said in humor a bit disappointed by his uncle's action.

"After all that, all you seem to be concern about is a cup of water… you truly are something else" he thought to himself looking at his nephew. 
At that moment he didn't know what to think of his nephew, confused if this was him showing kindness or something else, he continued laughing while having mixed feelings towards his question as he forgot why he was even worked up in the first place.
"This is quite something… I guess it might be too much to ask then?" Abidemi said in sarcasm
"Okay then, could you guide me as to where the kitchen is then? since you seem busy and all?" Abidemi said not happy or amused by his uncle's reaction to his request.
"Am sorry… just wasn't expecting a request of such, and i got a bit carried away… I didn't know the wanderer could pout…apologies" his uncle said in humor trying to hold in his laughter.
"Now I know you're just messing with me" Abidemi said with a displeasing look.
"However to show my gesture of good will and to make it up to you… I'll take you there and throw in a few snacks while at it… how about that, umm?" his uncle asked offering a gesture of good will while ignoring his statement, believing it's the least he could do to make for his past acts.
"Well, I guess, I could go for a snack or two" Abidemi replied with a childish expression 
"Understood" his uncle replied as he stood up from his seat to guide his nephew to the kitchen which was at the end space of the studio. They both left the studio heading to the kitchen where his uncle gave him a cup of his desired water and a few snacks made out of beans which was cut in cube shaped slices as that of a cup of milk to go with it.
"Right, now, It's almost hard to believe you're the demon king conqueror of Lynar and the wanderer… I guess I should be glad that you still seem to have retained a certain level of humor… I really am sorry about everything, but it's not easy to say, especially when I know of your shadow deals… it doesn't make it easy to trust you or maybe I haven't lived past 11 years ago" his uncle thought as he watched his nephew eating, surprised by the version before him while disappointed by his own lack of trust in his nephew.
While his uncle was pondering and switching from guilt, relief to that of curiosity, his nephew could sense it all due to the changes in his energy flow but was not able to pin-point the exact thought. For a moment he wondered what it could be but chose to ignore such since he could sense his tension being eased up a bit and that was enough for him.

It's almost intriguing but most would agree work filled or infused with more positive emotion will be better, if not exquisite… I'll advice you to let your heart guide your brush not your mind, even when the image is uncertain or not precise" he said in relaying to his uncle's before heading for the stairs, with hope of him understanding the meaning of his words.

This is a story about a wanderer who seemed to be traveling around kingdoms, as regards to a mission, which led him to the Radiant Kingdom and it's mystical forest, as he took a shortcut to to save time amongst other things. Not passing attention to the rumors of the forest being a maze of death for any that enters.
He wandered around the forest lost by the sensation he felt within it, after entry which made him believe the forest was not of this world as that of a level of familiarity, he took detours, with hope of finding the source of the sensation when he saw a lady who's innocent and radiant became a subject of interest.
The lady seemed to be quite familiar with the creatures and the forest itself.
He tried to gain sight of her, and hopefully get acquainted with her. But to his surprise she ran away upon seeing him, the change of event led to him saving her, which led to the beginning of their story.
Opening doors to their past, and the cause of certain events in the kingdom, amongst other things.

During the morning twilight when most are still sleeping off the stress of the day's work since the sound of the ever so busy market has been at rest, while few are about to prepare for the day's work, as the air at the time was so relaxing and refreshing, the light was neither bright nor dark it was somewhere in between but it was still visible to distinguish one thing from the other. 
At the palace in the king's chamber the king was awake; he couldn't sleep as he was pondering on what his sister the second princess requested for as that of the note she said to have left on her bed; he felt threaten by what are words could mean but when he considered the uprising of criminal activities in the kingdom as that of the deeds of the general; always turning a simple order to a crisis, ignoring certain tasks assigned that doesn't meet his own taste, and certain members of the council always supporting his words and action over his own while ignoring his insubordination, he began to think a conspiracy could be in play.
"His actions are either to torment me, if not test my resolve… I hope for his sake, his doing it for the good of the kingdom… or he and his associates might just live to regret it… either way… I'll need to know who is with me and otherwise as that of resolving the issues before things get out of hand" the king whispered unconsciously as he was concluding his thoughts on bed as his wife the queen was resting on his chest fast asleep, unaware of her husband troubles. 
At the chamber of the second princess, the lady was still reminiscing on the encounter and stroll with the wanderer as that of his words as she laid in her bed cuddling her pillow wondering why his words has a certain level of familiarity as that of comfort to her. The rest of the family, as that of their subjects were still resting at least the once not on guard duty while at the art studio where the wanderer is staying. Duncan was still sleeping, the wanderer's uncle was at the studio unable to sleep due to his anxiety and curiosity to know what was happening as that of knowing what the possible outcome of his nephew's present in the kingdom would be; he kept painting to kill the time and distract himself while the wanderer was also awake; unable to sleep due to a nightmare he kept having each time he close his eyes; he left his room heading downstairs to get a cup of water.
"I'll take it you couldn't sleep... Abidemi... I guess you're still having those nightmares" his uncle said hearing a faint sound as his nephew was coming down the stairs, heading to the studio. 
"Not exactly... Just felt a bit thirsty, that's all" he replied after reaching the end of the stairs, as he looked around, searching for where the kitchen is with hope of getting a cup of water.
"if you say so… however if you were having one, it would be  okay… it only shows you're human and that you still have some, if not a little shred of humanity" his uncle said as he paint.
"And who said I wasn't human or concluded that I didn't have a shred of humanity? Because as far as I know I have been quite the humanitarian, not to brag or anything… of course" he said with a rather calm voice which seem to have no sign of anger or rage just curiosity and humor, walking towards his uncle as he kept looking around and making stops to take a look at each painting in his pathway.
"A humanitarian… huh?" his uncle asked scoffing. 
"Is that what you tell yourself to help you sleep at night or what you tell yourself before you silent your victims? The wanderer or should I call you the wandering ghost?" his uncle continued in annoyance.
"Maybe and maybe not… either way everyone that met their end at my hands are those that had it coming to them… besides their end was a bit too peaceful than what they deserve" he replied justifying his act.
"Everyone? Huh? I guess that would be right about the chief of the right and general of the Wave kingdom…hell, your act might even be consider patriotic, to have taken care of the Lynar nobles and chiefs but what about the previous king… the previous king of the Radiant Kingdom, did he had his coming too?" his uncle asked in annoyance as he broke his painting brush. 
"you won't believe it if I tell you… besides since you know this much, you should have an answer to the question you just asked… in other words, there is no point in me answering" he replied upon getting close to his uncle; standing right behind him with no sign of rage or anger in his voice.
"However I'll admit am a bit impress by how much you've been able to gather… it's almost amazing… almost… but it's disappointing seeing how you use it" he added picking the other broken half of his uncle's painting brush.
"Do you really think the way you're acting will change the cycle of things? Complaining and ranting about how you feel isn't enough to persuade me nor will it make me succumb to your will, uncle… After all you of all people should know how dangerous dialog with no leverage but one's emotional believe is... I guess 18years is not enough time to learn from one's past action" he continued after picking the broken piece of his uncle's brush.
"why you little…!" his uncle respond enraged after he stood grabbing his nephew by the neck as he pointed the other broken piece of his painting brush to his nephew's heart with intention of piercing his nephew's heart with the broken brush.  
"hmm… this brings back memories now doesn't it, uncle… and for a bonus it shows how quickly you get worked up as that of how you can give out hostility but can't take it, when returned… it will be wise to actually see it through this time because you might not get another chance, after all you might be able to save the king and a few lives if you just drive it through my heart this time" he said employing his uncle to do as he intend with no resistance or struggle.
"Even now, you still don't feel any sense of fear or fright… your eyes are as cold and empty just like the first time… are you even human?" his uncle asked getting more annoyed by his calmness and words.
"It's not that… after all am not so arrogant I would believe am inhuman nor do I believe I can change the world without sacrifice… but still I just want to try my best… in my own way, even if it means getting my hands dirty… I don't expect you to understand it, so, hate me or be hostile toward me, if you wish but even that can't change the past" he thought as he smiled concealing his actual feelings. 
"Asked the man, who is squeezing my neck with the intent of piercing my heart with a broken piece of a painting brush… how artistic" he replied in humor as he smiled looking at the irony of his question to his action. 
After hearing his reply his uncle realized his anger was getting the best of him and he was just getting worked up for nothing, if not making things worse, he released his hand from his neck; letting go of his neck as he drop the broken piece of the brush, he sat back on his chair, confused and disturbed by his action and his nephew's words while feeling guilty, thinking he overreacted.

Alexander was silent as we had breakfast together this morning. He just asked me a little, I realized maybe he was still upset about the events of the night before.

The night we didn't meet at all, because he came home very night. I've fallen asleep and not seen it at all. What am I supposed to do? Do I have to make a charade not knowing it for the sake of this political cooperation? Sacrificing my feelings and allowing myself to be queened among his harem? I better kill myself! But if I fight that, maybe my clan position will be compromised.

Maybe with a temporary return to London will make me think more clearly before my engagement. Maybe I'm more able to accept my tragic circumstances? Really?

"You want to go back to London this afternoon? I'll take you back." I heard his lugous words the next morning at the dinner table.

The atmosphere at this dinner table is just as graveyard. These talks are like talks for setting a work schedule. I'll move away as soon as I can from here. This atmosphere has left me tormented.

Suddenly he came out of the bathroom. Just with a boxer and shirtless, and a towel draped over his shoulders while the water was still dripping from his hair. I looked at her slightly stunned, that body, reminded me of something that had happened between us, my female brain couldn't think of anything other than how hot she looked, so I had to try to keep my desired gaze. 

"Are you here?" 

He advanced to the sofa where I sat. 

"Before we go back to London, do you have anything to talk about?" 

He sat beside me. The scent of the shower soap he used hit my sense of smell. If our relationship was as warm as other couples, maybe by now I would have jumped into her lap and allowed myself to devour her sweet fragrance.

My lips are wet. What should be said? All have, but you don't accept it. He looked at me and waited for my words.

I'm speechless. Alexander took a deep breath. He went to the table beside his bed. Take out a black box. And come back to me. 

"This is for you. I ordered this for our engagement gifts. Wear it next week at our engagement announcement. Open up". 

He gave it to my hand. It's like a jewelry box. I accepted it and opened it. A beautiful diamond necklace with a large green emerald pendant shines beautifully in this black velvet box. I was blown away by the selection of elegant designs. It must be expensive.

I don't like overly crowded designs, this necklace on the other hand looks elegant in design.

For a moment our eyes met. 

"I'll miss you when you're in London. We'll meet in a week."

I wake up in the morning feeling better. I slept soundly in my room. Last night I just met Mom and Dad, didn't see Daniel at all. What is my brother doing now?

We hide-to-hide smuggle tons of food and drug aid through the vortex to help the "Doctor Without Borders" organization carry out their humanitarian mission, although this organization operates only in city hospitals. And now we are struggling to deal with a million cholera outbreaks occurring in the eastern part of Yemen as a result of very poor sanitation.

Not to mention plus the threat of artillery that strained civil settlement and health inhalation. Doctors and volunteers there are like betting lives on their humanitarian mission.

I feel guilty, supposedly humanitarian organizations are my responsibility. I left humanitarian duty to focus into the operation against Ashleen a few months ago to the head of each area's division of Operations and now Daniel is taking over those duties.

I was more willing to get hurt during humanitarian duty than hurt by Alexander's concubine jealous of me. My emotions went up immediately when I was recalled of the events in Paris.

I opened the vortex to the Operations center. And headed for the main control room. Daniel shouted in the room.

"Leave the Taez operations headquarters while out of the way to the safe zone. You guys are going to be showered with boom. Don't take risks."

"Daniel, there are hundreds of doctors and volunteers not to mention the injured patients! We can't leave them!" A man shouting at the loudspeaker, it must be Zelba Mani the healer doctor as well as the leader of the Yemeni.

"Zelba this is Alexa, I'll transfer the help immediately to you. Do whatever you guys have to do there." I took the operating headset phone from Daniel.

"Well Miss Alexa, very many patients came, there was an air strike hit earlier in the morning, while many people were sheltering here because it's a hospital. Rumors are circulating there will be continued attacks here because of the case of the slew of president Ali Abdullah Saleh by rebel forces two days ago. They also carried out a major attack in Sana'a. The city has been destroyed and this hospital is the remaining refuge."

Yemen is the biggest crisis we face now, if in Syria our refugee camp is relatively safe, then in Yemen we hardly find one safe area. We actually work in a war zone.

"Daniel call Ourinko, his legion of soul witches, he can help us defend the perimeter against airstrikes. I'm going to lead the operation. Bring more doctors, there will be a lot of falling victims, have logistics prepare to prepare a list of emergency medicines as soon as possible."
