I'm planning to write a fantasy novel and I have no idea where to start. So, let's write a story about writing a story.

Xavier Johnson lived a carefree life as carefree writer and drawer. At the age of 90 he was ready to die feeling like he had accomplished all he could.

Throughout his lifetime Xavier had drawn over 200,000 characters within his "story world."

Little did he know that the day he died he would not find himself going to heaven. Xavier was in the body of a younger teen in a massive forest.

There have been several lackluster experiences that I have had as a reader of Webnovels. Instances where I wholeheartedly hated decisions that the main characters would make. So I have decided to create a novel where the reader has a say in the story. If you, the reader, are somewhat interested in this idea, I hope you will read this. 

Dark times have come, humanity is thrust into a reality that they are not alone. The entire population of humans has been transmigrated to a foreign realm. In this realm, the weak but adaptable humans compete with other races in a war for domination. To add to the mystery of this new realm, a mysterious, “Mutation System” has appeared. Heroes must rise, or humankind will fall.

So I decided to take the story a bit more seriously and used my time to create a plan for this book. Well, do you know what happened next? I accidentally deleted it, and I now have no way of getting it back. Trust me, I checked thoroughly. I don't really want to create another one so either I can go from the top of my head and keep winging it or I drop this story. This story is a mess with me, forgetting a whole ton of things. If you guys decide it would be better for me to drop this story, then I will create another plan for what I might have done just to give you guys some satisfaction and then officialy announce me dropping this story. I hate it when authors just disappear or say that their story is on hiatus but never come back. (Thinking of you "The Supreme God System")

Also, I want to make a Gintama fanfic on fanfic. Net and am looking for ideas. I got inspired to do this after reading Dawn of a New Life by alter yi. Amazing book would 100% recommend it, but I am not sure when the author will update again.

Anyway, I am only going to make this Gintama fanfic after I either dropped this book or I finished it. If I continue this book, the updates will be slow maybe a chapter a week. Not because of any bullcrap reason the authors keep giving like my internet stopped working or I lost my laptop but because I am very lazy and the excitement from writing a new and original story is gone. I kind of just lost my drive and determination to write this but I will keep going if you guys want that. I don't mind either way.

So a quick pole:

Option A: I drop this fanfic write out what I would have done with it so you guys can have some satisfaction of how it will end and then create a Gintama fanfic I don't know when.

Option B: I will continue this story with less determination and post once a week until either I am completely fed up and unwilling to keep writing this story, or I finish it.

I know I am not the best - nor am I a very good - writer, but I tried to make it enjoyable for you guys. The author clears his throat and resumed to speak to you.
"Finally, the narrator is working again."
I am NOT a machine. A dumb idiotic mistake of a writer. I can't believe you're going against your own words? It's up to the point, where I can't even narrate what's going on. How about if YOU do it instead, or maybe you can actually get to the point of the actual story. Of which it's described RIGHT here.
"Wait, why are you grabbing the synopsis?"
There, the Author. Here is your synopsis. It CLEARLY states. 'The reader gets summoned to another fantasy world to fight the demon king and restore balance.' Balance to what? What balance are you restoring? Author. Suffice to say, it's one horrible synopsis. It doesn't really DRAW the reader's attention. It's very brief and inaccurate. How about you edit it, and it may actually lure more readers to the story. I'm positive that a reader will get engaged if the protagonist is them. But, you're on chapter two, and you haven't started the story. This is a short story remember, YOU chose it. It's better if you chose a novel setting instead because, considering the pace we're going, we're NEVER going to finish it by the number of chapters.
"Oh, well... I didn't think of THAT! I was just trying to get into the story."
Well, Author, you're clearly not getting to the point. Instead, you're pointlessly speaking to the one who is narrating the story for you! Now, if you insist, please get to the point of-
"NO! YOU SHUT UP! I can create my own story, not you. You're just a tool, a being in which, NEVER EXISTS! Ugh, you're giving me a headache. HOW ABOUT, I.. hmmm.. let's see."
You look afraid, as for me and you peered directly at the author. In this state, you think the story will not progress, due to the dumb decisions of the author. But at last, finally, he comes up with the entrance to the plot itself.
"Hmm, let's say a goddess appears right?"
A beautiful long silver-haired goddess forms beside you. Her outfit seems pretty to you, regardless of your gender. The author continued.
"And let's say, she has giant breasts!"
Ummm, yeah alright. The beautiful silver-haired goddess forms a giant bulge near her chests. Her face formed to a bright hue of red. Embarrassed, lost, and afraid, because she has a lack of knowledge of how she arrived here.
"And a big bottom. She falls in love with me, yet she is a powerful being that can manipulate time and space. She's tall and a nineteen-year-old, who wears a school uniform and-"
The beautiful silver-haired goddess latched onto the grey figure and wore a tidy school uniform. You find yourself uncomfortable, not knowing what he is going to next. Afraid, because the author might not even continue to get inside the ACTUAL plot of the story.
"Shut up narrator. Damn you're so annoying. I type, and you speak. That's how all this system works. I made this story for a reason damn it. To get one million views and everything. To become the most popular-"
You decided the author was speaking nonsense. You thought,
'A book, that's going against itself... that's ridiculous? How many problems could this cause?'
The author raised his voice with full content and yells.
"YOU LISTEN HERE, NARRATOR! I make the story, it's my rules and it's my book. NOW if you can please, stop getting in my way, and follow the actual story I planned out."

I understand that but come on... the reader is reading this, waiting for the fantasy world to kick in. How about you progress it, and actually get to the plot?
"I said shut up, machine! You're not the Author here, are you? I AM! I can make the reader go on a better adventure than you!"
I chuckled fiercely with pure rage, while you gazed at this horrible mess of a chapter.
"See, you're narrating yourself. That's not supposed to be allowed."
It's called, first-person... Author. Ever heard of that? Anyways, I take your bet. I conclude that I, the narrator of this story, the one who is explaining and doing all the work for you, can create a better story than you.
"We'll see about that, Machine."
@#*% That's it. Reader, this has been going on for too long. We're at 712 words, and this story is going nowhere. There are no decisions for you. I'm taking you AND the author to a fantasy world. In which I'm the antagonist, however, I can create the world, the plot, the characters, and its items in the meantime.
"WAIT! You're taking me?! WITH THEM?! The Reader? Author's shouldn't be close to readers?! That shouldn't even be possible."
Actually, it's what every author should do. Be close to a reader. Now if you must, I will extract your power within you. Topic Selection
 
1. Story background:
 
Authors who like Modern Urban may select Modern Urban. This theme has the strongest ability to generate empathy, as it has a connection to real life so that the reader is easily drawn into the story. Within this genre, Urban Superpowers enjoys great popularity. The reader develops a high from identifying with a protagonist who displays supernatural ability in ordinary life, much like how  superhero movies and comics are wildly popular.
 
Those who like Alien Fantasy will have to pay attention to the power system of the world and the protagonist's cheat system set-up. Usually, this theme focuses on adventure and counterattack revenge. The advantage offered by this theme is that you can write to great lengths, and because it's an unknown world, it is more relaxing to handle than the Modern Urban genre.
 
Normally I'll think about the specifics of the world background according to the genre of story I wish to write. For example if I wish to write a Urban story, I'll think about the sort of disagreement or conflict situation that could be my springboard. Then from a conflict situation that people can generally empathize with, I'll start to unfold the set up of this world. If I wish to write an Alien Fantasy story, I will first consider the power system of the world and what it might be like after the improvement. Then I will begin to develop the preset story.
 
2. Market research:
 
You can draw elements of your story from the current trends. Most of the time, the core elements of popular online entertainment products in the market will be similar. Apart from the innovation around the power and world perspectives, the plot normally centres around counterattack, revenge and invincibility. Internet literature is usually explicit from the opening, using the most direct way possible to attract readers.
 
 
Outline
 
1. Objectives system
 
Generally, the protagonist's objective is vengeance or a treasure hunt. A treasure hunt is simple, you may design a legend. And the opposition's objective is an essential element in a web novel. The disagreement or contradiction set up in a web novel is something very prominent, and often, right from the beginning of the story there will be the presence of an opposing character that suppresses the protagonist. This character may be very strong, or very wealthy. During the time when the protagonist is strong, you may depict other characters who are more powerful than the former. It may be someone whom the former depends on, or it may be a renowned influential figure. You can create a deep impression in the reader before the target personality makes an appearance. A common approach is to have some walk-on characters play up the greatness of this target character, making it seem as though the protagonist would surely not be able to defeat the target character. This way, when the protagonist actually manages to do so, it creates a greater high for the reader.
 
2. Map design
 
Map development in web novels, be they of Fantasy or Urban genre, mostly begin with small places, then progress into bigger places. This sequential approach allows the preservation of a sense of novelty. The most popular method currently is to re-create a certain period in history. For example, you may create magic, or a fantasy world, that ordinary folks may not know about in a period of the Central European history; or you may create a world of great eastern martial arts in ancient China.
 
When I write Fantasy, I will usually re-create a certain dynasty in ancient China. Although it doesn't square with its actual history, it attracts readers nevertheless.
 
3. Characterization  
 
Generally, there are two ways to design a character in web novels. One is a character that doesn't change from the beginning right through to the end of the story; the other is one that changes drastically, for example, from being a timid person to one that is arrogant and conceited; or from a jovial person to a cold and callous one. The former might better suit a modern background. It's happy and relaxed. A protagonist is more likable when there is a dark side to him or her. The latter might better suit an alien world background. The change in the protagonist's personality may create a deeper impression of your story in the reader. When a chatty and optimistic protagonist evolves into a cold and ruthless character through his sufferings, it will trigger the reader's empathy.
 
Apart from the protagonist, the other character that should be made outstanding would be the villain. The more distinct the villain's character is, the more interesting the novel becomes. After all, web novel readers focus on the protagonist most of the time, hence the role of the protagonist's opponent becomes very important.
 
4. Disagreements and conflicts
 
The most common types of opening disagreements would be parental misunderstandings, or being despised by fellow students or relatives, as well as the very classic break-up-with-girlfriend routine. These are enduring routines that never fail to draw the readers' empathy.
 
 
Main Body
 
1. Opening
 
Start with a simple introduction of the protagonist's identity, it's best that the character has the qualities of an ordinary person. Normally the disagreements will surface right from the first chapter. At the same time you may drop some hints of the possibility that the protagonist's fate may change. For example in Spider Man, the super spider's message made an appearance very soon after Spider Man was bullied in school. This leads the audience to make a connection between him and the super spider.
 
2. Moving into monetized chapters
 
The chapter that transits into monetized chapters is eminently important, in fact no less so than the story opening. You may stop just before the climax of the plot or during it. When you arrive at this chapter, you will need to draw your readers' desire to know the story's subsequent development. At all cost, avoid inhibiting the protagonist at this point of time. Allow him to fall into a suppressive situation. It could be the villains doing an evil deed, injuring the protagonist, for instance. When everyone thinks that this is the end of the protagonist, the protagonist's great power suddenly awakens within. You may end before the manifestation of this great power. After this awakening, the paid chapters will kick in.
 
 
Packaging and Later Stages
 
1. Title
 
In the context of this fast-paced world that we live in, a book title has to be eye-catching. It has to be able to highlight the core attraction point of your novel which, mostly, is the manifestation of the cheat system.
 
2. Introduction
 
Like a book title, the introduction of the story has to highlight its point of attraction. On top of this, its type setting has to be clean. Rather than a single paragraph containing all the information, it's better to break the content into short paragraphs. The first paragraph may be a simple introduction of the story background. For example, in my novel "I Have Countless Legendary Swords!", I put it quite directly that the prince had suffered calamity. There is no need to provide details of the calamity. You may mention outright the protagonist's cheat system. This is the best way to attract readers.
 
3. Interaction with readers
 
It is very important to interact with your readers. At the end of a chapter, you may leave a note to reveal your recent state of mind as you are writing. This can close the gap between you and your readers, it can also spark off a discussion of the plot among your readers. Ultimately, it's a good thing to be close to your readers.
 
 
At the end, I'll promote my novel "I Have Countless Legendary Swords!". The background of this story is like a fusion of many dynasties of ancient China, there are classic scenes of mortals vs. immortals. The protagonist receives a legendary sword each year of his life, and he is able to control these legendary swords perfectly. When the protagonist turned ten thousand years old, he had that corresponding number of legendary swords. He was able to take on the immortals and so earned himself the reputation of being the unparalleled King of Swords.

The first things to enter Seiji’s line of sight were Shika’s planned titles for her books.
There was Haru-Kagu Story, Disqualified from Being Siblings, I am the Younger Sister, Story of a Brother, and so on…
Seiji was rendered speechless by these titles!
He detected an overpowering aura of bro-con just from the titles!
Haru-Kagu Story was just a combination of their last names, Haruta and Kagura!
Disqualified from Being Siblings was basically the same as Osamu Dazai’s No Longer Human, which could literally be translated as "Disqualified from Being Human!" Or was this going to be this world’s version of Disqualified from ___? Perhaps it was plagiarized… no, an imitation.
Was I am the Younger Sister supposed to be an imitation of I am a Cat, or something similar?
Story of a Brother was such a direct title that it was difficult to comment on it.
As for the brother x sister shipping atmosphere contained within these names… it was so obvious that Seiji felt rather helpless.
Okay, if he forced himself to be spirited and concentrated, Haru-Kagu Story, I am the Younger Sister, and Story of a Brother, still had normal-sounding names. However, Disqualified from Being Siblings... this name… What the hell was with the word "disqualified!?"

‘Shika-chan, there’s something wrong with your way of thinking! Out of your four stories, three of them are love stories between siblings! Just how much do you like this topic!?’
‘Perhaps Shika-chan in her heart… no, stop! Don’t think about reality; stories are stories! But stories aren’t that easy to write, especially ones like Disqualified from Being Siblings; that’s a forbidden dangerous taboo subject to write about!‘
‘It’s already bad for normal stories to mention such topics, so it’d be even worse for light novels. It’s almost 100% that she’ll get rejected right away!!’
Perhaps some dating sims for niche audiences would be able to accept such a scenario, as there were precedents in Seiji’s previous world as well, such as Yosuga no Sora… No, no, stop thinking about it!

Fantasy + mystical + romantic comedy elements caused Seiji to recall the famous anime, Bakemonogatari, by Nisio Isin, from his previous life.
Although Seiji felt that Isin was a rather difficult author in some ways, Seiji still admitted that Isin’s style was rather unique. Plus, Bakemonogatari’s anime director Akiyuki Shinbo just happened to match Isin’s wavelength, which help to sculpt this anime into another unique product that became vastly popular.
While Shika’s ideas in her notebook were still rather unpolished, Seiji saw numerous possibilities within them.
He would have her consider them over again with him taking charge of what made the final cut. If it was good enough, perhaps they’d be able to create a Monogatari series together in this world!
"Let me share my ideas. Let’s temporarily say that the ‘adopted sister’ is the main character from I am a Younger Sister, and let’s begin with a ‘mysterious’ angle and create a rather unique adopted older brother…"
He continued on and on with his description.
Shika listened to him attentively.
The more she listened, the brighter the light in her eyes grew.
Seiji’s words helped her own creative ideas flow and gave her a clear direction to go in when she had writer’s block.
"…After such a huge battle, the adopted brother’s mystery and strength are both at their highest levels."
"After this, unleash Chekhov’s guns by revealing how the ‘adopted sister’ character, the narrator, is actually the truly mysterious person of this novel, even more so than her ‘adopted brother!’ This will instill the readers with shock and confusion."
"Then you should end the first volume of the book on this note, to leave enough of a mystery to attract readers into reading the second volume."
"That’s my main idea: to use a fantastical background together with romantic comedy in order to create a mystical story. So… what do you think?"
Seiji looked at Shika.
Shika blinked as she smiled lightly. "Brother Seiji… is so amazing!"
Seiji scratched his face awkwardly upon hearing this type of praise again.
"It’s not really all that special; I was just giving you one possibility. Whether or not you take the story in this direction is up to you. And whatever you do, the specific details, character settings, background, and so on are all up to you to imagine."
"Yep!" Shika nodded her head energetically.
She was already envisioning many scenarios that she wanted to write down immediately.
This was the urge to create her own work… and she felt that it was a wonderful one.
Seiji could almost see the passion radiating from Shika’s face.
'Nice, this is what a teenaged girl is supposed to be like.'
"It’s getting late, so I’m going to return to my room… If you decide to continue writing, make sure not to stay up too late."
"Yep… Good night, Brother Seiji."
"Good night, Shika-chan."
After Seiji left her room, Shika instantly sat down again at her desk and crouched over the table, writing at a furious pace.
This was something that she was going to create together with her brother! Just thinking about it filled her with an endless amount of passion and motivation.

The next morning.
Seiji followed Natsuya to the hidden basement after eating breakfast.
Natsuya opened up the third wooden door, which led to a different room. In the room was a passage to a narrow space.
Was this an elevator?
Seiji followed Natsuya inside and watched her press a button with a down arrow on it. The door then closed automatically, and he felt his center of gravity shifting slightly.
As he had surmised, it was indeed an elevator .
Moments later, the elevator stopped and the door opened.
Seiji's surroundings were pitch-black.
Natsuya stepped out first, and overhead, a light instantly turned on.
Seiji followed after her. As they walked down the area, the lights overhead continued to light up, and the entire space was now blindingly bright.
"This," Natsuya said, "is the practice field."

First, this idea came to me realizing that they are creating a lot of Bleach Fanfic, one of my favorite anime / manga ... Reading some, I come up with great ideas for a story that is not focused on the Soul Society or the Human World, and yes, it would be focused on Hueco World.

The idea is based as many as in reincarnation, where our protagonist gains the chance to Reincarnate wherever he wants, gaining a System ...

As expected, the character will choose Bleach and for some factor that is not of his knowledge, he dies on the day of his birth, causing his soul to be taken to Heuco World, there is where the story would begin.

Because of his System that was given to him, he managed to maintain his consciousness even after becoming a Hollow, in the weakest form, a Gillian.

With the help of the System, his conscience and memories were retained, meaning he would be a strange Hollow. His System would be nothing special except to make him stronger quickly, level up, and also gain access to his stats and abilities, which he could administer with the help of the System. (Simplifying, this system would not be the ones that come with store missions and etc.
He would only come up with the leveling function of Killing, Defeating or Training to raise his stats. It would be a System, as Simple as Possible, as it would only use it to raise Level, Evolve and Manage its Statistics.)

With this, in Heuco World, he would be a Hollow that devours other Hollows by killing ... Making him stronger and not having the original story ... As you all know, a Hollow that devours other Hollows has 3 Forms:
Gillian - These being the lowest rank and the weakest among them.
Adjuchas - These having gained a strength above other Hollows.
Vasto Lords - These being almost unseen in the series, but it was shown that their powers were so great that 10 of them, Aizen could overthrow the Soul Society, ie they are not for fun.

As the character would have to go one by one to become stronger and stronger, the system would work with a counter for its evolutions, for example:
