She was actually one of the lucky talented artists who worked on a few Marvel & DC comics. And that's why Max got his passion for Comics, if he could he would love to be a Comic Book Artist.
But Fate had a different cruel twist to his life.
Max's father was a rather quiet person, unlike his extroverted wife. But he was far from ordinary though.
He worked for the Secret Intelligence Agency of their country, as such he had to keep it from his family. But her Wife actually got the gist of his work from the bullet & knife wounds he would after his so-called 'Work on Abroad' but she couldn't do anything.
She was very supportive, but after a certain mission was completed. Their life turned upside down.
The first one to die was Max's mother. It was a car explosion. Someone rigged her car. It would have taken Max out if not for him being late to get into the car.

The next one was his father. He died in Canada. Even his body wasn't found. If not for the massage that was left for Max before his death, he wouldn't have known the truth.
Then one thing led to another. And he walked the life of a Killer… An Outlaw.

When he opened his eyes. He saw the mesmerizing moonless sky filled with stars. 
Never in his entire life, he saw such a beautiful night. 'So this is heaven? Wow, this place is rather… dark… but beautiful. I ain't that ungrateful ya know.'
Then after a few minutes, he saw the moon. Though it looked bigger. I mean much bigger 50 to 60 times maybe.
I could only see half of it as the other side was dark. As he moved his head to the right he saw… something that made no sense. It was the Sun?
'But where are the clouds?'
As I was awaing the beauty around him. He felt a little earthquake. He then finally saw my surrounding as the sun rays fall upon him.
He was on some kind of black ground.' My body… WTF.' He jerked up in his mind, not seeing his body.
'I didn't have a body.' He looked everywhere up-down left-right. But he saw only the hard rocky ground.

He wasn’t a symbol of Peace or anything, he was just doing it for certain reasons.
Cleaning trash of Society, that law didn't or couldn't punish. 
Well now, he just so happens to be a man of culture, loves his Comics & Animes. 
But one day by chance he jumps to a different world… in the Marvel Universe.
But not as human, no for now he is a Symbiote. Yes, like Venom or Carnage. 
Now follow our Main Character as he lives his new Symbiotic LIfe.

Also, I am writing this story after Civil-War, so the story starts late, I have written it because most of the Fan-Fics start way early like from Captain America, but drop it before they even reach Civil-War. So yeah, enjoy the story.
The story is set up in an Alternate Version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) more similar to the Comics. So there will be differences, MASSIVE Ones.

Title: Creating his own Banner


In fact, Akabane did not lie to them.

Kurama Yunlang exclaimed in admiration and was ashamed for what he was thinking earlier.



'Young Master should have seen the banner I used earlier, and definitely couldn't stand it, so he wrote one himself.' he thought.



"It's fine if you understand."



Akabane patted his shoulder and said, and then beckons Little Loli's hand.



And since he didn't have anything else to do here, the two of them walked back home.

The boys are late to pick me up from work. Jake has never been late before. He has to be a driving frenzy through the city. I remember my last death defying ride when I was late for our first girl's brunch. I'm pretty sure Jake had the massive Escalade on two wheels at one point, which is a feat considering traffic doesn't move at more than twenty-five miles an hour anywhere in the city. Poor Finn.

The black Escalade turns the corner and tires squeal as Jake speeds up before he slams on the brakes inches from me. The large vehicle lurches forward, the back door swings open, and Finn jumps out. He falls to his knees in front of me and latches on to my midsection with a death grip.

"Save me, please. Save me from his driving!" People stop to stare at his over exaggerated actions.

"Oh my God, Finn. What are you doing?" I start to pull him toward his black death trap, but he stands, laughing at my reaction. His cologne clings to me from where his forest green shirt and matching plain long sleeve flannel touched me. The top few buttons are undone and his sleeves are rolled to his elbows. It's my favorite look on him and I have to shake my head to stop myself from staring too long.

He runs his hand through his loosely styled brown hair. "Have you ridden with him before? I thought I was going to die." Finn walks back to the vehicle.

I follow Finn into the backseat pulling down my black skirt before I slide across the leather seats. "I'm sure it wasn't so bad," I answer Finn, but speak the words in Jake's direction. He laughs from his place in the driver's seat.

"The man lacks all sense of adventure, Pen," Jake calls from the front and then makes a wide turn into traffic. I silently pray neither of them see me white knuckle the arm rest.

"Did you wear sneakers?" Finn's leg twitches.

He's his usual bright and happy self again. It makes me think he's not as upset about the driving as he pretended and I laugh. It comes off random and makes both Finn and Jake eye me with raised eyebrows. Why can't I raise an eyebrow? Is it a man skill?

I have no idea what today's plans are, but I was instructed this morning to have tennis shoes on when I left work. I had to run back upstairs to grab a pair. I lift my foot and sling my right leg over his to show him my cute black and pink Reeboks.

Before I remove my foot, Finn latches on to my ankle and holds it to his leg. The position isn't comfortable, but he tilts his head to my shoe in such a forlorn fashion I can't move it. The way he almost reveres my foot portrays a deeper meaning, but I dare not break the quiet to find out what.

We ride in silence for a few moments. I've learned there is no hope in trying to get our destination out of him. Finn's lips can keep a secret.

"Aspen." Something in his tone worries me. There are too many feelings expressed in that one simple word.

"Yeah, Finn."

He hesitates. "Can we not tell any of the guys I used the word cuddle last night?" He speaks the request to my foot.

His serious tone over the silly question catches me off guard and I snort before I answer, "Sure, Finn. Your secret is safe with me." I almost confess to telling both Marissa and Amanda about it today but decide it's better just to swear them to secrecy as well.

Finn releases my foot and leans over to me. His hand caresses my jaw line before he dips and places a quick, soft kiss to my lips. "Thanks."

...

Jake stops the Escalade next to a tall red brick building. A black fabric overhang with the words Cosmo's Comics written in big bold white letters announces our location.

I'm confused. "Comics?" I didn't have a clue where we'd end up tonight, but comics was not one of the many options I'd considered.

Finn jumps from the SUV before Jake can open our door and holds his hand out for me to take. "Trust me." He leans back in and speaks to Jake before I get all the way out. "Have a great night. I'll see you tomorrow."

I send Jake a wave and walk with Finn toward the building. A large glass window to the side of the door lengthens the store's name to Cosmo's Comics and Café. Inside people mill about the area. Their bodies hunched over long white tables with big boxes that I presume hold comics.

Finn holds the door for me as the little bell on top chimes. The ten or so people in the store stop and move their heads in our direction. Coffee bean smells permeate the air as I cross into the building.

A chorus of "Hey, Finn" can be heard, a few from every direction.

"We're back here." Finn says as he leads me to the far right corner of the lengthy building to an area with three big circular couches. They're a color between orange and yellow and the extra padding makes them fluff out. They scream, "Come. Sit down. Stay a while."

We pass a light wood semicircular desk with a hanging sign above indicating it's customer service and the checkout. On the far corner sits a big gleaming coffee machine with disposable cups stacked next to it. The café I presume.

"Hey, Finn. You're the first today. You want your usual?" A short, slightly balding, but nice looking guy asks from the other side of the counter.

"Jason," Finn raises a hand in his direction, "the usual and add on a hot chocolate please." He stops, places a hand around my back and spins me to see more of Jason. "This is, Aspen. Aspen, this is Jason. He owns the place."

Jason raises his hand again and gives a small salute. "Nice to meet you, Aspen. You're a first. I hope you make it to another visit."

I have no idea what's he's talking about so I nod and wave as Finn steers me toward a couch.

"What was that all about?" I ask as we're both seated.

Finn sits so close our bodies touch on the side from our legs to our shoulders. "You're the first girl I've ever brought to Cosmo's." He stops in contemplation, "Actually, now that I think about it, you'll be the first girl who any of us have ever brought here. It's kind of our special place. Boys only."

Not a great way to make me feel comfortable. "I don't want to intrude on your guy time."

It took him long to reply a short, "Yea."

Well. If I did tell you what it really meant to me–It'll take me a long time to think how to explain it and actually explaining it. And, if you didn't understand what I'm trying to explain, it'll be pointless to explain in the first place.

After a lot of thinking, my mind is now at peace and I thing I can explain now.

There are a lot of meanings from that quote. Since I might end up overthinking again, it'll be easier to understand if I put an alternate quote according to each focusing meaning.
 
There are 3 meanings: a positive, realistic and summarized one. It's up to you on which meaning you'll focus on.


For the positive meaning, 'Everyone has good qualities.' 

Realistic meaning, 'No one is perfect."

A week have passed and today's a work day, school day.


I'm scrolling my phone in an upward direction. You can tell that what I'm doing, reading comics. When I was in the juicy part, a fellow classmate was seeking for death. I meant he interrupted me. Good thing after I replied to him, he left me alone.  Bad thing, someone will dislike me more.


I don't have anyone who I'm close to in my class so I changed my seat, nearest to the teacher's table. So I guess my purpose for going to see school is to pay more attention to the teacher. What a diligent student I am.

Since it's just the second week, teachers aren't pressuring us. I guess that's a good thing. Bad thing? They will give us a shock in the near future.

After classes, I'm heading home. The distance from school to home is walkable but I'm hungry, I rode in a bus.

When I arrived, I found out no one is at home so I put out my spare of house keys and unlocked the door. 

Switching on the source of electricity of the house, I went to my room and threw my stuff that was saved by the floor.


The next thing I threw was myself but this time, my bed caught me. Pulling out my phone from the pocket of my uniform, I connected it to the Wifi.


After a few minutes I heard a sound from downstairs. My home has three floor levels. In the first floor level, there's a living room, dining room and a kitchen. In the second floor level, all of the bedrooms are present there. In the third floor level, a small garden. All floor levels have a comfort room.


When I was going through the stairs between the first and second floor level, I saw my mom fixing the groceries. I helped her with organizing and after that we ate dinner.


Back in my room, I start to flashback significant and insignificant things that I did for this day. Before I knew it, I passed out.

At night in his home, Saul was reading the book he purchased. He was interested in the book mainly because of the hearsay of reincarnation among his friends in army. In the unit, while there was little to no work, some of his friends read novels and comics of which this was a major theme. (A/N: This being the early 2010s, the trend had not caught up with the global populace). He himself had read some interesting books regarding the Dalai Lama and how he would remember his past lives.

The contents of the book were fascinating to him. As per the book, different religions had different interpretations of reincarnation. 

The word itself is derived from Latin and literally means "to take on the flesh again," in other words, "to take on the fleshy (physical) body." 
Discussion of the subject appears in the philosophical traditions of India and Greece from about the 6th century BC. What exactly is reincarnation? It simply means that we leave one life and go into another; it is all for the sole purpose of soul development and spiritual growth. The soul may take the form of human, animal, or plant depending on the moral quality of the previous life's actions. This doctrine is a central tenet of the Indian and Greek religions. However, reincarnation implies that the person remains essentially the same, while occupying a new body. 
The concept is prevalent in most of the earlier religions like Hinduism, Greek mythology, Judaism etc.

According to Hinduism, the soul is immortal and continues its journey one after the other until it attains the truth of everything or nirvana as we know it in popular culture.  This similar for Buddhism also. 

Some of the religions like Christianity and Islam rejects this idea. At the same time, sects within these religions still believe in the concept. Spiritism, a Christian philosophy codified in the 19th century teaches reincarnation or rebirth into human life after death. 

"The book is interesting to say the least, an interesting concept. It is like that movie Groundhog day, except you don't remember your previous life. Human race is a self learning race. If only we could remember our errors in previous life, it could be said that humans would have long reached the next galaxy by now. If only I had a power like this to have infinite reincarnations without losing any of memories and sanity, Ahh! One could only dream." Saul was brought out of his wishful thinking when he saw he had reached the ending.

At end of the book, Saul saw a small message which was hand written, different to the original text. 
"Congratulations, you have been selected?" Saul read out aloud, pondering and questioning over the meaning. Did it mean some kind of lottery? Or is it some kind of prank? He didn't give much thought to the matter.

Closing the book and keeping it inside his drawer, John slid into the sweet embrace of the night, all the while bereft of the knowledge that his seemingly small act of kindness had set the wheels of something in motion. Something that would make him an existence that humbled many.

10 years had passed since that night. Saul had long forgotten of a small event which had little to no importance.
He dedicated himself to the store and its business. His father John Ignatius who was 5 years older than his uncle had retired from the business and completely handed over it to his eldest son. His youngest son, Raymond who Saul loves greatly, is now an Engineer. When he was in college Raymond had told him all about animes and video games. Through him, Saul was educated into the pop culture of web novels, mangas and animes. 

Saul had already read many comics like the Superman, Batman and Justice league series, Marvel comics.Among these, he felt that Marvel was better than the sometimes childish DC comics which kept villains like Joker and Luthor always alive thus producing a lot of innocent casualties. The setting of DC was also somewhat 'dark' as some may say. Nevertheless, it never would fail to amaze anyone. Especially Batman and his paranoid mind.
It awed Saul that someone with no super power could keep up with a big team of supers. However the answer as to how he does everything is very simple. That's because he's Batman. 

His brother had recommended to him couple of good novels like the Library of Heaven's Path, The Lord of the Mysteries etc. His was what you would call a geek. But these days, who isn't with all these Marvel movies coming out. Saul was a big fan of the Avengers series. He had watched all the movies from Captain America to the latest End Game.

Pushing these thoughts out of his mind, Saul started his daily routine in the store. His days were not monotonous. Occasionally he would go to his old SAS camp to meet his boss and friends and polish his combat skills lest they go out of touch. However they had also retired recently. 
Now that the Corona virus was creating such a mess, he hadn't been in touch with his friends face to face. Sure he would call them time to time, but he believed that friendship or relationship over the phone is a short term idea which cannot last. It was just recently he had got permission to re open the store after the nation wide lockdown.

These days were frankly boring for him. Not many customers came due to fear of the virus. He mainly read comics and mangas, manhuas and the likes in these off times. His favourites were Naruto, Noblesse and the Gamer. Recently Naruto producers had launched a sequel for the series titled Boruto, telling us the tales of his son. That wasn't a good move in his opinion. 

It was raining heavily outside when he was going home.  'The climate of UK. At least it's cool' Saul remarked with a long sigh. He stepped into his room after greeting his father who was watching football. 

"Are you winning dad?" He asked his father with a sly smile. His father being a football fanatic didn't give much attention to the remark he made and said " Yeah. We'll win."

Saul went to room after informing his mother as he was tired and wanted a small nap. However he found it hard to fall asleep. 'May be because of the off timing. I normally don't sleep during this time.' He thought. He soon began and relax his mind and fell asleep.

"It was a good nap.  I think I should get up and have dinner." mumbled Saul half asleep. However it was at this time he found that he something wasn't right. Suddenly wide awake he found that he was now in a completely different space, sort of like outer space.
