After a freak accident, Trent wakes up in a new world of magic. Along with a system that gives him the powers of heroes and villains from comic books, Trent fights monsters, bandits, and nobles to find a way back home and to prove that powers are better than magic. (Note: Uses strong language throughout the book so if any are offended, just know that this is the way the character's personalities are made.)

Every comic book nerd has heard of the infamous miniseries that both titans of the comic book industry created. But if we were to bring it back, how would it be done? Here's how I think it can be done:

Phase 1- The Collector and The Grand Master have an failed attempt of a decisive tournament between their universes heroes and villains, due to them defeating both cosmic beings. They soon across the Planet War-World ruled by the tyrannical Mongul and his world transportation device and come up with a deal with him that he'd get a profitable deal from their selection of fighters between his universes heroes and villains with theirs in exchange of using his device transporting those that would be a matchup by their choosing (like some of the matchups I mentioned before or like Sentry -Marvel's Superman- against the Man of Steel himself or Solomon Grundy against the Hulk or even The Hand versus The League of Assassins. I think Lady Shiva would have a formidable foe in Elektra or Daredevil). This would go on until characters from both sides get wind of what's happening and join forces to take down their game wardens. Things seem to go in their favor until Thanos and Darkseid show up.

Phase Two: While events from Phase One are happening, the two main baddies of both properties are disputing the situation. Both have met each other prior to earlier as Thanos had plans to conquer Darkseid's realm Apokolips. But upon learning more about the sadistic conqueror, he comes up with a propositional alliance with him after getting wind of the Cosmic Brothers' tournament. They both come to a compromise that could equally split the galaxy in two after agreeing with the point that taking out the heroes that plague both of them would be like shooting fish in a barrel; as well as both having the Cosmic powers from both The Collector and The Grand Master (though Thanos would have secretly steal it first to undermine his immortal adversary. After they both create a device to absorb the power from the cosmic beings and taking down the forces that would stand in their way (the Nova Core and Highfather), heroes and villains from both sides agree to take this galactic threats down together after both brothers are taken.

Phase 3- The greatest war in comic book history begins as the heroes and villains of both properties take on the combined forces of Thanos and Darkseid before they can drain them of their cosmic essence and have no way to get back home. The climax could have a specialized team of selected characters from both sides infiltrating the base of the two big bad baddies to take them down while secretly bringing in two secret weapons in case one or the other fails. The heroes and baddies eventually triumph as they free the cosmic beings and make them set things right after agreeing to keep in touch with one another in case something like this happens again. 

Possible Phase 4: Years after the events prior, the villains from both sides decide to combine forces to take over the world and it's up to the good guys to take these villains down once and for all. The great battle of good and evil has begun yet again.

It’s no secret, I love crossover stories. It expands the human imagination of story telling. Whether it’s within said universe or different worlds colliding. The kinds of crossover stories I like to read and/or write about are the ones that could logically make sense while others would do so either for fan service or just for pure fan fiction. Through this, I like to post and offer any scenarios about logical but sound and fun ideas that people would like to hear or try to write about. The criteria can be as follows:

1. Takes place within its universe or it can be across the different universes.

2. Characters have to have certain similarities between them (ideals, powers etc.)

3. Doesn’t have to be romantically involved, but I consider more of friendships and connections made between them.

4. Can usually have a common foe that unites them (heroes or villains)

i thought Midoriya will be sad that he is quirk less because that kid really want to be a hero like all might but seeing his older brother console him that he can be a future hero someday and cheer up Izuku i feel relieved that izuku had his brother to cheer him up. But i suddenly saw Hiro create a floating board and he called it hoverboard and they want to try it outside suddenly i panicked thinking what if Izuku fell off that thing. I made 10,000 of those robot as for the energy source i used a power sourced that power the omnitrix that's why all the robot have the hourglass design in their chest not only that i used a Super advanced AI to the robot that will improved in the long run.

Fucking hell, why am I doing this?

"What the fuck man, you're doing shit today!" Andrew snaps, throwing the controller at me from his beanbag chair.

"I'm preoccupied, man," I complain, picking up the controller and handing it back.

"You're supposed to be the talented one, Chester! Our team is losing!" Rhea says.

"So? It's just one match!"

"Against the team just below us, Ches, this means everything! What are you thinking about, anyway?" Drake asks.

"None of your business." I start focussing on the game, helping the others beat out the kills of the other team. 

I swear, I carry this team. Anyway, when the match is over, we shut off the game and head downstairs to eat something. The others are chatty, as usual, so I can relax. My little sister comes in to grab a package of Dad's cookies--he'll be pissed--and heads back into her emo ass room before my friends can start in on her.

"Do you get your fashion sense from your sister?" Andrew asks innocently.

"Fuck off dumbass, she's twelve. Everyone in middle school is an emo," I say, cracking a chip between my teeth.

"Then what's your excuse?" Drake asks.

I roll my eyes. "Girls, duh."

"Girls don't go for monochrome, Chester," Rhea alerts me in an attempt to help.

"Well, they don't seem to mind it on me. Look, guys, I just don't feel the need to wear color. Just pin it on me being clueless about making choices like what color matches my complexion," I say.

Rhea tilts her head. "Honestly you do look good in black and white. But have you considered grey?"

"That would make his eyes look greyer, Rhea. Girls dig blue eyes!" Drake scolds.

"Sounds like guys dig blue eyes, D," Drew comments.

"Oh, fuck off, you know I'm straight!"

"You're all clueless straight boys, we are aware. Stop arguing. Remember last time?"

"Last time we were drunk!" Drake and Andrew both say as one.

I snort. "The time you guys kissed to prove you weren't gay?"

"Drunk. We were drunk." Drake clears his throat.

Andrew just stuffs a handful of chips into his mouth to avoid speaking. Me and Rhea exchange a look of amusal. We both know that they don't like eachother, but it's fun to screw with them anyway. I mean, they're jerks.

"Okay, my parents are gonna be home soon, you all should probably go."

They groan, annoyed that we can't play more video games, but leave anyway, listening to me. I finish my food, and head upstairs, dragging my feet. Between friends and my parents, I hardly get a moments respite. I open the door to my bedroom, hearing Eva's music through her speakers for a second before I shut the door behind me.

I pick up the controllers and put them all on chargers, then flop down on my bed, sinking into my mattress.

I'm rich, respected, popular, and I have everything I could dream of. So why do I do terrible stuff? The second I'm left to my devices, I do shit like join the fucking Villains Alliance.

Yeah, big surprise, rich boy leads a double life. Batman anybody? Except unlike DC or Marvel villains, I don't have some sob story to bring method to madness. I guess I just needed some thrills.

All this happened after I discovered my peculiar aptitude for summoning demons. All I wanted was somebody to help me, I was feeling desperate and lonely, when he appeared.

Kalju, a demon who was trying to make friends. It just happened that he was exactly what I needed at the moment, and I didn't even know how he got there.

He tends to be the easiest to summon demon I have. The dangerous ones are harder, but I've gotten better and better, and it only gets easier. I can control them.

Kalju suggested that I join the villains. I agreed, because I figured the heroes wouldn't appreciate my skill set. The only thing I needed was a name... And Kalju came in clutch with hundreds of suggestions. 

Finally, we settled on Decayance.

Decay and decadence combined. Both of my lives easily smashed into one name. Ingenious. Nobody knows about my life as Decayance but Kalju.

And nobody knows about Kalju except the villains. A perfect situation, really. And since the heroes are very deliberately gentle, my family doesn't know either.

Of course, my rival is dreadfully close to crossing the line of injuring people. Fucking Assassin Insect. A genius, really, but somehow clueless at the same time. His electronic weapons send my demons back to their realms instantly, and his antennae device tends to deal brain damage. 

Which is why as soon as he starts trying to use that thing I hightail it out of there. I know he doesn't mean to do any harm, but I assume the device is still imperfect. Like the wings he's making.

Those are impressive. Surprisingly compact, sleek, and occasionally they even work! I laugh at my own thoughts.

Man, I don't even mind it when that guy beats me. It's not like I really want to control the city, I just want some fun. And genius man provides. He's excellent with his swords, and decent with his shurikans. He eludes capture easily and confusingly.

He's a badass.

I draw the symbol of summoning on my bedspread with my finger, and Kalju appears beside me.

"Hey, Chester," He greets, setting down the comic he was reading when I pulled him here.

"Woah, demon comic!" I pick it up, then sigh. It's just a regular Dark Horse comic. 

"We get mostly the same reading material as you do, Ches. What's up?"

"Being a villain. Why? Seriously, why did you put this idea in my head?" I ask.

"Chester, I'm a fucking demon. I corrupt kids like you. It's my thing. Kind of, um, in my nature? Like how summoning demons is in yours," He says, "But man, this was your call. Don't pin it on me."

"I just don't get what made it so compelling."

"The constant romanticizing of villains and evil you're surrounded by daily as a human. Twilight, Joker 2020, every fandom ever?"

"Don't get me started on romanticising mental illness, trauma, and chronic illnesses... Okay, I guess that does make sense. Thanks, Kal."

"No problem, you little shit. Fist bump before you send me back?"

I smile, give him a fist bump, and draw the return symbol on the bed. He's gone instantly.

I hear my mom pull in the driveway, followed by my dad. I look around to see if there's any mess in my room, then grab a sheet of homework from my bag and start working on it at my desk. My dad goes to tell Eva to turn down her emo rap, and Mom peeks in my room to see what I'm up to.

"Shouldn't one of your friends be in here playing videogames and distracting you?" She teases, sitting down on the bean bag.

I smile. "I sent them home so I could focus. Lots of homework today."

"Responsible. Well, I'll leave you be! Your aunt and cousin are coming to dinner tonight, dress appropriately!" She looks at me. "Or stick with that. Love you bunches!"

"I love you too, Mom."

She leaves, and I keep working on my math. No reason I can't get it done. I was a little distracted today, the kid beside me was taking up some of my focus with his incessant staring and awkwardness. It was worse than usual, because I asked him for a pencil.

And the wink probably didn't help. I need to regulate my levels of charmingness from now on, especially in Math. I mean, Rizaldo Sundita--Rizzy--isn't as annoying as some of the people I deal with, but I probably should crush any idea that he has a chance with me.

I'm straight, after all. That never comes into question, because it's obvious. I like girls, even though I don't date much. I just prefer the freedom of not dating. I'm happier single.

I look through my closet, trying to see if I have any better shirts for tonight's dinner. Aunt Martha is rather picky with fashion, and so is Denley, my cousin. Should I wear a tie? No, those things are suffocating.

I'll just fix my hair, I guess. I head to the bathroom with my comb, and consider my messy golden locks. Where do I even begin? I sigh, and summon Kalju.

"Can I not read my comic for ten minutes? Why am I in your bathroom?" He asks, setting the Dark Horse comic on the counter.

"My aunt and cousin are coming over and they're very particular about looks. I don't know how to handle my hair."

"Shave it off."

I sigh. "It could use a trim. And since you're here, you can help with the back!" I grin.

"You have to comb it before you cut it, Chester," Kalju says.

I admit defeat, and struggle to comb my hair while Kalju reads his comic. Then I throw a towel over my shoulders, snip the front, and have him do the back, checking it carefully.

"It looks great! Thanks, Kal!"

"You're still mentally a mess though."

I shoot him a glare, and put the scissors back in the cupboard with the comb.

"Okay, I won't bother you for the rest of the day," I promise, sending him back.

I clean up the hair that was cut, then check none is on my clothes. I brush my teeth, apply chapstick, and go downstairs to wait.

"Oh, Chester, you changed your hair!" Dad notices, looking up from his Business magazine.

I smile sheepishly. "It looked a mess before," I say.

How will I survive this dinner?

"Hurry, they'll be here any second!" Mom says, pulling Eva down the stairs by one of her pale wrists.

Eva, as usual, is wearing black, but you can tell it's one of the dresses Mom bought her. The dress has a flowery light pink pattern, a loose skirt, and a belt-like tie on it. Mom even got her to cooperate with different makeup, a light blush and pale lipstick with winged eyeliner.

I know Eva is only okay with it because it's bonding time with Mom, who isn't around much.

We hear the honk that signals Aunt Martha has just pulled up, so Mom drags us all to the door so we can greet them. Mom opens the door for her sister with a welcoming smile, and Martha kisses her cheeks in greeting.

Of course. They were with Grandma and Grandpa in Italy, so now they're going to bring the culture back with them. Only Grandpa is Italian, but of course, Americans love to over-immerse themselves in the culture of their ancestors. Me and Eva both take after our father and Grandmother. We're pale and blonde.

Denley steps in behind Martha, smiles slightly, and then becomes his usual stern-faced self. Now, Aunt Martha turns her attention to me and Eva.

"Oh! I swear, you two are growing so fast! Eva, you look absolutely gorgeous!" She gives her a quick hug. "And Chester! You're getting taller than me! Love your shirt. Very sophisticated!"

I give her a smile, glad when she doesn't try to hug me. We all go to sit down at the dinner table, and Mom gives everyone a plate of her lemon pepper salmon with steamed broccoli.

"Oh, this is lovely Marie! Remember that night Mom made this, when I told her I was engaged? Salmon everywhere!" Aunt Martha jokes. Mom smiles slightly, and we all start eating.

"So, how's school, Chester?"

"He has amazing grades!" Dad answers for me. I smile awkwardly.

"Any lucky ladies in your life?" Denley shoots her a glare, she rephrases, "Or lucky gentlemen?"

"Uhm, no." I shove a forkful of broccoli in my mouth, fully understanding Andrew's diversion tactics.

She moves on to talk to Eva, and I focus on my food. Denley is just as quiet as I am, so I don't feel obligated to talk. I shouldn't have promised Kalju I would leave him alone, now who will I vent to? Probably Drake or Rhea. I mean, Andrew is my friend, but he really wouldn't care. 

"Alright, meals over! Kiddos, you wanna head upstairs and catch up? The adults need their time," Aunt Martha says.

We all go upstairs, somehow ending up in my room.

"Denley, you play videogames, right?" Eva asks, turning on my gaming console.

"Yeah." He grabs a controller, and they start playing Minecraft, not asking me to join. 

Which is all well and good, now I can message Drake.

Chessy: My aunt and cousin are over for dinner and it's so fucking weird.

Draco: That sucks ass. My mom was too tired to make dinner, so I get Sandwich al á Lone.

Chessy: That sucks even more ass. Next time that happens just come over here, we always have extra.

Draco: Ah, yes, the Copley family; always in excess.

Chessy: Rich shaming is as hurtful as poor shaming, you know. I didn't choose to be upper-class.

Draco: Mostly I meant your mom's excess sexy, but that too.

Chessy: Fuck you. Stay safe. Bye.

I set my phone aside. Drake is probably my closest human friend. He actually cares about me, and we've been close since third grade. 

"Who were you messaging?" Denley asks, mining iron in the caves.

"Drake. You met him last year at the homecoming football game you decided would be a bonding expirience."

"The snarky one or the sweet one?"

"Sweet one."

"That guy makes me wish I was in school here, Christ," He says.

"How's Italian school, anyway?" Eva asks.

"It's... nice enough, I guess. They think I'm retarded because I speak slower. Makes me want to stand up in front of class and lecture them on Quantum physics."

"You're the smartest in our family, congratulations," I say.

"Well, you're socially adept and Eva is creative, so it looks like we all have a talent."

"Socially adept... hm," I mumble.

I think it's more that I'm good at acting. Easily falling into roles. Good kid, cool friend, demon-summoning villain. I think I'm most comfortable with my normal role, confused teenager.

I mean, wouldn't you be confused if you could suddenly summon demons? I lean against the headboard of my bed, and think about my two terrible talents. Acting and summoning.

Aunt Martha calls Denley down, so we all go to say goodbye to our extended family so they can go back to their hotel. They leave, and everyone seperates instantly. Mom goes upstairs, Dad goes back to his magazine, Eva and I go to our rooms. I flop down on my bed.

Sleep sounds good.

Universe Power Levels
I have taken the liberty of creating different levels <1-13> as I said - considering the extent of destruction or influence shown by the different entities that make up the Omniverse, as shown and verified in comics and movies. Beings that often move at a transfinite (a number greater than infinity) level of power.
Of course, this classification is only referential and incomplete, but I am considering characters that will allow you to locate other characters, as shown in the comic. These are my best estimates of the different levels of power that exist and should be considered in the Marvel Universe, which we tend to appreciate in different comics and movies.
In each level I include characters that for A or B reasons have shown more or less the same degree of the scope of power, this does not mean that they are exactly the same of course, neither does my list have any specific order, but based solely on what is seen and in my best estimates, these characters are more or less on the same level of power, beings who play and develop in the same league and who would generally be rivals in their ranges of power.
Of course, as always, every character is subject to the story, the scriptwriter, and the editor, so there are characters who today show one thing and tomorrow another, but taking into account the most faithful continuity (seen and verifiable by the comic) I think this would be the fairest classification in terms of power.
Note: each level can be divided into low, medium, high sublevels. In addition, an individual will not necessarily lose against someone of a higher level, obviously other variables such as experience, power boost by techniques, fury (as in Hulk), skill management, equipment (like Captain America with his shield), tools, etc. They can be key to the powers of individuals. I leaned on other models and made some changes that I deem appropriate.
Division of powers by energy levels:
Level 1
 Olympic-level athletes and normal human beings (the rest of humanity)
The group of heroes that shows that to make a difference it is not necessary to possess any power, some due to their degree of preparation, training, and talents can compete even with human limits.
Ex: Hawkeye, which is physically Level 1, but its reflexes are Level 2; Batman, but with his intellect and tactics he could take on a level 2.
Level 2
These are the heroes that inspire others, the human being in their limits and some who passed these limits, just like Level 3 these beings go beyond what they can achieve and are the ones that really show us that the true level of power is in the heart. Many of these are difficult to separate from the Level 3 superhuman class.
Ex: Black Widow, Captain America.
Level 3
All other superhumans that are well above human and enhanced human limits.
The group of intermediate heroes or villains, these are the heroes who begin to truly demonstrate superhuman characteristics to save or cause destruction. Each of these beings dazzles us by facing beings whose level of power is higher and who can go beyond their limits. All of these distances themselves widely from other mortals.
Ex: Spider-Man, The Human Torch in nova.
Level 4
Possibly planetary level or less, being able to be considered in some cases like weapons of mass destruction.
These are the heroes and villains that normally compete with those of Level 5, but that it is demonstrated that in the end they are widely surpassed by these when the situation calls for it. Wonder-Man is a case to consider here, it can easily be a full power level 5. In general, many of these beings are more highly regarded at the level of weapons of mass destruction, but some can easily become Level 5.
Ex: Magneto, wonder woman, Thor, Superman.
Level 5
With a range of powers capable of affecting the planet and even the solar system or even going a little beyond this level.
All these characters can be destroyers of worlds and even stars, their scope is well documented throughout all of Marvel history. They are Class 100 + and that due to their special characteristics stand out above all other heroes or villains that are normally considered Class 100 as well. Gods, cosmic beings, beings with virtually unlimited powers as the case may be.
Ex: Hulk (fury), Thanos (normal), doctor strange.
Level 6
All beings whose power level can reach the galactic scale or multi solar system or who are fundamental forces in the universe.
All these beings have been shown to surpass in power any being that is not an important cosmic entity, they are highly evolved beings that have equaled or even surpassed the power of gods. They are creators of stars and their power can span the galaxy.
Ex.: Odin
 
Level 7
All beings that possess power on a scale beyond the galactic scale. Some with Universal reach and even capable of affecting the Multiverse to some extent.
 They are creators of their own dimensions, where they are and control every aspect of reality, their powers are incalculable and virtually omnipotent.
Ex: The Phoenix Force
Level 8
The manifestations of the vital balance for the existence and harmony of the entire universe or entities that in power surpass any other known entity.
Although difficult to really quantify their powers, being the two fundamental principles that govern the harmony of the universe on a cosmic scale, I think it is only fair that they are the next forces after Eternity.
Ex.: Celestials
Level 9
Cosmic entities manifestation of the universe itself, and the main forces that govern its nature.
The entities manifestation of the universe itself. These four aspects of the universe can actually be summed up into two Eternity / Infinity and Death / Forgetfulness since each is another aspect of the other. They are omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient in the universe/reality that they embody.

Level 11
The only known power without counterpart, unique in all creation, guardian of the cosmic balance, and whose power encompasses the Omniverse.

"Oh!" Jackie yelled. The girls stopped and looked over at her wondering what exactly  all the commotion was. Jackie sat there with a crazy smile upon her face and almost appeared to be drooling.

"I didn't know that C.B.'s had opened here!" Jackie yelled. She couldn't contain her self at all.

"What is C.B.'s," Jen asked. The two girls walked over to see what exactly Jackie was gawking at. When the girls looked, there expression went from curiosity to a bleak look of unsurprised, but Jackie didn't care.

"A comic book store?" Ashlee asked.

 "Geek heaven!" Jackie Jumped up and down and before the girls could even stop her she was threw the door and was instantly in utopia. The store was filled with the smell of plastic, fresh ink and a hint of body oder.

Can't believe there is one here! How could I of missed this!

She took a deep breath, taking in the aroma. Jackie looked around and took in all the colors as they radiated from all the comics and games, gazing upon the Holy artifacts.

"You are in to some pretty weird shit," Ashlee crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. Jackie turned her head to face her.

"Its not my fault that your not into this awesomeness!" Jackie began to walk along all the glass cases, looking at all the statues in front of her. Heroes and heroines alike, and in the other one, villains that were beautiful, and vile all at the same time. Patches, games, and most importantly, comic books.

It's all alphabetized!

She stopped on one letter, and began to siphon through the possibilities of what she could add to her collection. She got lost in thought, going through all the titles in her head as she felt too firmly placed hands on her shoulders. Snapping back to reality, she felt the sudden pole of her friends dragging her out the door.

Imagine waking up, and your perfect world gets shattered by truth that was hiding deep within the shadows of your world. never to go back the way it once was, everything can be viewed differently now. This can be asset, or hindrance. for this group of individuals, it's a mixture of both.

Follow our protagonist through the world of lies, broken bones, and torn flesh, as he learns what he was supposed to be, and what he needs to become.

James Crosby wasn't an athlete, a scholar or even a guy with any real achievements under his belt. He just really enjoyed comic books. After he graduated from high school he only worked to fuel his comic book buying habits. Every six months his moment to shine came at the big comic book convention that came to town. He was a wizard at finding bargains and predicting the next big comic books to collect. Many of the shop owners would seek him out for his opinions at the shows. Other collectors even started to take an interest in what he was buying in order to sniff potential winners. That's why it wasn't surprising when in a dark corner of the winter comic convention a completely unknown new comic startup with a single title desperately waved him over to have a look. 

James smirked at the comic. He picked it up and started to flip through the pages. In a haughty voice, he commented, "The cover isn't bold enough to draw attention, the splash page was boring and the action is bogged down by the simplicity of the villains. Your heroes are too weak to protect the people, it makes them seem less like heroes and more like regular people trying to fight crime."

The man running the booth frowned and then said, "But the idea was that it was a world that would evolve over time. The heroes would grow stronger as the villains adapted to them."

James shook his head and frowned, "I don't know man, I'm sorry but I think you started this out too slow. The art is pretty good, and the story seems decent enough, but it needs a bigger start to really draw enough attention to blow up. I might check in again once you build the world up. It's just not one I'd follow as it is." 

The man running the booth said, "Alright, I thank you for taking the time to look. I'll take your ideas and run with them, take that book on me as payment for helping me make a better story."

James smiled and said, "I will, maybe at the next con, you'll have the book that really shocks the con."

After hearing James slam the book, most of the big time collectors completely ignored the man's booth. He only managed to sell a couple of his books as a result. The man seemed to stare daggers into James all day any time he passed by. 

James managed to buy a few dozen books at a decent price and felt as if he had won the lottery as he looked through his new found treasures. He stood at a friend's comic book booth and started to talk up what he found. "Look, dude, I got a copy of X-men number two sixty-six out of a guy's twenty-five cent box in mint! Not only that, I found a second print copy of TMNT for two hundred and fifty that's at least high mint. The guy was just trying to cover his cost for attending the show and took half of what he was asking originally."

His friend Matt was a tall lanky man with sunken cheeks. He had a slight belly and wore a Wolverine t-shirt and khaki pants. He blinked his eyes and said in a shocked nasal toned voice, "Two-fifty! I'll give you five hundred right now if you'll let it go, I can put that up in my shop for eight at least!"

James looked at his friend for a few long seconds and then nodded and smiled, "Alright, Matt, you got it. But throw in a copy of Batman number six oh nine and you got a deal!" 

Matt raised an eyebrow and then asked, "You know something about that issue you aren't telling me, dude? It's not a high-value comic."

James just shrugged and said, "Just liked the cover."

Matt frowned and then traded books with James and grumbled, "Every time we do deal I feel like you are ripping me off, even though I am supposed to be the one ripping you off."

James laughed and then gave a wave as he took the money and his bag of treasures and made his way to the exit. He was leaving with the same amount of money he walked in with and a bag of comics that left a huge grin on his face. He felt like he was the king of the world as walked past a line of people dressed as their favorite superheroes. James shook his head at them. He always found the costumes to be wrong somehow like they were trying too hard to match the look of the comic instead of the idea behind the suits. His mind began to wander as he imagined how he would make a super costume if he was a hero. 

James got into his car, a peach-colored 1982 AMC Eagle station wagon that was too ugly for words. The floors of his car were littered with fast food trash and empty soda cans. He set his new comic book treasures on the passenger seat that almost never saw a body occupying it. James made the short trip from the convention center to his studio apartment in record time. He was too excited for words as he managed to grab two comics that would fill gaps in his collection basically for free thanks to his wheeling and dealing. Walking into his apartment all that could be seen were rows of stacked white comic book boxes. On another wall was an array of Batman comic books with a single hole in the middle which James walked over and thumb tacked the new book into the hole with a satisfied sigh. 

James laid down on his bed and picked up the new books he bought and then for some reason the book he had been given for free grabbed his attention. He decided to give the story a proper read now that he wasn't distracted. Aside from the things he brought up at the show he felt like the story was somehow more compelling than he thought at the time he skimmed it at the show. It was a story about people who woke up to find that they could level themselves up by doing things. The idea was that each time they completed an action they would notice a small number pop up in the corner of their vision. After a while, they would start to notice that their skills and abilities were growing fast. Eventually turning them into what could only be described as a superhero.

James snorted in disbelief and then shook his head. He thought about all of the superheroes he followed, most of them either had genius intellects or teachers who trained them to be superior warriors. They weren't just regular people. He thought of what it would be like for him to have that kind of ability. He shook his head and laughed, saying out loud, "If I had a system like that I wouldn't stick my fucking neck out to help people that's just bat shit crazy."

James couldn't get the idea out of his head, it was running through his mind like a virus. He just wanted to sleep but it was killing him that the comic he read was so flawed he didn't know exactly what the flaw was so he kept rethinking it over and over. It wasn't the skill itself, it was the motivation. Just having skill and ability wouldn't motivate a hero. He thought of Batman and how his parents were killed causing him to seek vengeance. Or how Spider-man had to see his Uncle killed to motivate him. The Punisher lost his family. The mutants from the X-Men were all trying to save their kind from extinction and build up a good impression from regular people. Superman lost his entire planet. The characters in this comic book he was given were just regular people who had no motivation to be more than who they were. 

James eventually drifted off to sleep. A voice in the blackness spoke softly, "Initiating transformation. Power system loaded. Experience system loaded. Character creation successful. Motivation system progress 1%. Starting wake-up mode in ten, nine, eight, seven. The voice grew softer and softer until James saw daylight once again. He shook his head and thought, "What an odd dream." He yawned and stretched out he swiftly turned his head as he thought he saw something move out of the corner of his eye. A small red number "+1" hung in the corner of his vision for a split second. He shook his head again only to see another "+1" drift off. He moved his arm wildly and another "+1" appeared. That was when he noticed something off about his apartment. The comic books on the wall had changed. The familiar names were gone and replaced with names that similar yet different.

He shouted out, "Alright real funny, I don't know which of you it is, but I want my real collection back and if I find even a single damaged book you are getting sued!" 

Once again a "+1" popped up in the corner of his eye.

James shook his head and frowned, he checked the time and knew it was time to get to work, he didn't have time to play around with the jokesters. He quickly showered and dressed in his uniform and then sped off to work. The little "+1" that kept popping up was very annoying to James, but he did his best to ignore it. When he got to work he felt something was off as the name of the restaurant on the sign was spelled oddly. He looked up and frowned, "Burger Kang? Is this part of the joke?" He looked across the street and noticed that the place across from them had a different sign as well. He blinked and rubbed his eyes and asked, "MacRonalds?" 

He walked inside starting to feel confused. He recognized all of his coworkers but the menu boards were all changed subtly so that at first glance it was normal but things were just slightly named differently. Instead of a whopper they now sold a whapper. He noticed a newspaper no longer said New York Times, instead, it had New City Times written at the top of the page, he grabbed one of his coworkers and asked, "Dude, is it just me or does this place look different today?"

His coworker laughed and said, "Yeah man, those graveyard shift bastards didn't mop, Ralphie threw a fit this morning. You got mop duty bro, wouldn't slack it off today. He's in that kind of mood." 

James grabbed the mop and started to do his job. He noticed that as he worked his level of skill with mopping rapidly improved to the point that the floors looked like they were being professionally cleaned. The manager came out of his office and stared in amazement as James mopped effortlessly but cleaned the floors back to a new like appearance. He grinned broadly and said, "Great work Jimmy. Thanks for busting ass on these floors. The rest of you bums should take your example from Jimmy."

Everyone stared daggers at James who could only smile and shrug. It went like that all day, anything he worked on would become incredibly easy to him if he did it long enough. All the time the "+1" would appear. By the time he was done with his shift, his coworkers were no longer speaking to him because he had raised the bar for every job in the restaurant to the point they felt like they could no longer meet expectations. Even Ralphie the manager started to feel insecure about his position. 

James went to start his car and of course, it wouldn't start. He popped the hood and climbed out hoping he could figure out what was wrong with it. When he opened the hood he was shocked to find the entire motor missing. It was as if it had been completely torn out. He spun around looking in all directions as his heart pounded, he suddenly felt very unsafe. He thought about his work today and decided to try running home, maybe he would get better at running if he did that. 

James ran as if someone was chasing him, and just like with his work today he slowly improved at running until it was effortless for him. He managed to run the four miles back to his house in half an hour. For a guy who hadn't done any running in years, he felt like he had accomplished an impossible feat. In fact, he knew for certain that was the furthest he had ever run and when he got home he felt the same way he did at the end of his workday. Slightly tired but still capable of doing more. He looked across the street at the twenty-four-hour gym and decided to find out if the thought scratching at the back of his head was real. 

After he went home and changed, he walked over to the gym and then up to the counter and asked the girl there, "Hi, I was wondering what it costs to get a membership here?" 

The girl smiled happily and said, "Well, why don't you try out the gym first and see if it's what you need. After you work out, we can talk about our membership plans." 

He smirked and nodded, "Thank you, I think I will." He walked inside and started doing a circuit through the gym. Just as he thought each machine became easier and easier the more he exercised on it. He looked in the mirror and noticed that his body was slowly but visibly changing. When he walked into the gym he was still the same skin and bones scrawny looking man that he had been since he graduated from high school years earlier. But just an hour in the gym and he already had started to appear like someone who had been working out for years. James stared in disbelief at the image in the mirror. He looked down at his arms and could see defined musculature. He looked at the machines and suddenly found himself obsessed with them. He would use each machine until he was at its maximum weight and then move to the next. By the time he completed a full circuit of the gym he looked like a bodybuilder. He was staring in awe at the image of himself in the mirror, his clothes were stretched to the point of nearly ripping. He noticed that the sun was starting to come up and realized he had spent the entire night at the gym.

When he walked up to the counter the same girl was yawning and stretching while saying to another girl, "I had a skinny guy come in last night I haven't seen him leave yet, I hope he didn't hurt himself."

He walked up in front of her and said, "Hi, I tried out the gym here, it was ok, but I think I need a gym with more weights. Thank you for the trial though." 

She looked at him like it was the first time she had seen him and asked, "I'm sorry, but did we already speak? I don't recall when you came in." 

He chuckled and said, "Skinny guy that you were worried would hurt himself." 

She stared in disbelief as he walked out. The girl next to her snorted derisively and said, "Girl you need to lower your standards. Not every guy can be as big as a powerlifter. That guy was totally ripped."

James walked to his apartment and sat down on his bed. He suddenly felt his adrenaline kick in as he searched for the comic book he picked up at the con. He found it and immediately opened it only to find that the pages were all blank. The picture on the cover changed to a picture of himself lifting weights and growing stronger. The splash page changed to a picture of him mopping at Burger Kang. The next page showed him running after finding that his car had been sabotaged. Then it was him lifting weights in the gym rapidly building his body by doing each exercise. He stammered and said, "Fuck this, I am not a hero, I have no motivation to be a hero!"

He tossed the comic off his bed and collapsed back on it with a sigh. Maybe he could call in sick, he only had four hours until it was time to work again and he still hadn't slept. He closed his eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Hikaru alway thought heroes and villains as a  silly comic book game.Then the group of kids came up him and pour water on him.Then they laughed.He wrote on his paper a way to bring back his girlfriend to has back the days they love each other.After school  he went and look for people who strong. I can give people abilities. He can give people only one ability.Then when he looks at a kid fixing a magic watch He has a feeling that is his lead engineer.He thought how hard is it to make a little kid own him.He walked up to the kid with a gun at his head. He can see the red pointer at his fore head.He said " Wait I came in peace".He put his hand up.She said " Like I believe you leave me be".Hikaru is known to never give up.He gets what he wants no matter what.And what he wanted is her and his dreams. He walked up to the gun with his eyes opened.He was scared a lot.He had second thoughts.He will never walk up to a gun.What is going to happen is this bye bye to Hikaru or will his plan work to get the girl on his team.
