I opened my eyes, leaning against the tree. The sky that was once dark, because a bit brighter, a dark purple color lighting up the sky.
I slept outside last night, after making sure the children were doing fine. As I yawned, I noticed that the children were all sleeping on the ground. The prarie is full of children lying on the ground. It's...kind of scary if you don't know the context of the situation. It turns out, dolls can eat, drink, or sleep like any other normal human. They just don't need it. It's more like habit of sorts.
The only thing they need to survive is the mana from the child next to me.
They were self-sufficient, and so they don't really need me to actually take care of them, and if anything desires to harms them...

"Alright, then first..."
I started grouping them up, in groups of three. Group 1 would get the wood, Group 2 transport the wood to the orphanage, and Group 3 would use it to fix the orphanage.
A simple plan, but it works. I relayed the orders to them, and they nodded with serious a serious air around them.
Meanwhile, while they fix the orphanage, it's about time for me to get supplies from the nearby towns or cities...
I took out my phone to find something like a Home Depot, which is still a thing in this world. They have a lot of building supplies after all.

I quickly made my way through town. With magic enhancing my body, I can quickly go from the orphanage in the wild to a populated town in thirty minutes. From the map on the phone I used, it appears as if I'm in England. I glossed over my memories to find out who I am, not where I am. It doesn't matter, I have to find supplies.
I arrived in front of a department store that looks extremely similar to a Home Depot. The color scheme was there to, orange and white. I didn't bother to read the name as I went in.
A cool breeze of air washed over me as I stepped inside the electronic slide doors, looking.
I expected there to be something like hunters showing off, using their powers, or bragging...but it's just so normal.
People were normally buying stuff, taking a look around, everything. There were almost no hunters here, probably from going out to dungeons everyday.
Ah yes, the hunters. They aren't too special, but they walk around with things like a sword and spear, with armor as well. From the information on the phone, apparently modern weapons like guns and bombs aren't that efficient in killing monsters. The weak ones are easy enough, for example, goblins. It's the tougher ones that are difficult, such as ogres. Hunters are needed, with their skills.
I walked in without a problem, people giving me one glance, before looking away. With my average looks, plain face and black hair, one would think I'm just your average guy, minus the robes. They look so out of place, they probably assume I'm a hunter. A weak one.
As I looked throught the aisle, I found what I was looking for. Rulers, hammers, nails, saws. A galore of tools, just what I need. Also carpets and other unique furnitures...
Wow, there's so many things here, if only I had the money for it...
But I don't need money, do I?

I smiled to myself.
...
I came back to the entrance of the prarie forty minutes later, carrying nothing. As I got closer, I noticed the orphans were cutting down the trees, seperating them into parts, and bringing them back inside. The fences were just wood, barely as tall as a person. The entrance was wooden, just twice the size of a person.
The orphans noticed me as I got closer, and they all dropped what they were doing, and ran up to me.
"Welcome back mister!"
"How was your trip?"
"Was the humans scary?"
"Oh, did you get what you need?"
They all asked me questions, to which a smile tugged at the ends of my mouth. They really are children, even if they exist as a doll.
I answered them one by one as I walked through the entrance, and back into the prarie.
In the distance, I saw the rest of the children trying to fix the orphanage. It's to be expected, they got no real tools.
They noticed me approaching from the distance, and once again they dropped whatever they were doing, running towards me with excitement.
We got to the front of the orphanage, and I prepared myself, warning the children-
"Stay a bit farther away from me. I'm about to drop the tools and supplies."
The children answered with 'okay,' moving around. As soon as they got into something like a circle, I waved my hand.
Then a whole bunch of supplies magically appeared on the grass.
Tools, carpets, small furnitures, they all appeared on the ground.
""Woahhhhhh!""
The children excitedly ran to the supplies.
"Woah, what's this?"
"Hey hey look what I got!"
"This will help us a lot!"
As they all looked over at everything I got, I went to the tree, where the small child leaning against the trunk, resting in its shade.
He watched the orphans with a smile, and looked to me as I walked up to him with a thankful look.
"Thank you, mister..."
"It was no problem," I shook my head, sitting down besides him.

"How did you get these supplies?" he asked with wide eyes and mild curiosity.
I turned my head, giving him a small smile.

"Furnitures are missing over here to!"
"Where the hell did the tools go?!"
Employees of the deparment store ran around, trying to figure out the culprit. In a lot of the store's aisle, and their warehouse behind the store, the supplies disappeared.
Even over the camera footages, the supplies seem to be there for one moment, and the next gone. No signs from the culprit, other than people walking past it.
"What should we do?"
One of the employees asked the manager, a middleaged old man, who looked very angry.
"If this is an action of a rogue hunter...then the police won't help at all. We have to call the Hunter's Organization in and have them investigate."
Another employee whispered to his friend, confused
"What about the Holy Churc-"

"Shut up!" he elbowed him, interrupting him.
"We can't call them! This isn't that important of a situation, and..."
He trailed off, looking around scared. His friend also seemed to realize something, shutting up right away.
There's a reason why they don't get the Church involved.

As the sun was about to set below the trees, we all stood in front of the orphanage with a exhausted smile. Even with over 5000 people and dolls working on it, the orphanage is quite big, and we haven't even finished half of it yet.
Nonetheless, it was a good days hard work, and so took a break for the night.
But...
As they were all mostly playing around, resting, I waved my hand tables falling onto the grass with chairs, bowls, pots, and utensils falling out next, numbering over a thousand.
As the orphans got closer to me, a girl with blonde hair asked me with eyes filled with wonder.
"How did you get those!"
I smiled slightly at the girl.

The manager of a grocery store yelled at the employees, gesturing towards...an empty aisle.
That's right, just like the deparment store, it was the grocery store that was ransacked.
"I hope the Hunter's Organization comes here soon..." the manager gritted his teeth, walking back and forth.
The employees just looked at each other, shrugging.
They were there for the paycheck, nothing more. Doesn't matter to them if the grocery store goes out of buisness.

Good thing I have over five thousand children who helped me with the cooking.
They learned the skills necessary to cook at least a decent bowl of soup in their previous lives. Apparently, the adults wanted them to serve them food, so the adults don't have to do it. The children had to do the manual work...which is why they were also easily fixing up parts of the orphanages and doing chores.
How convenient.
Once the cooking was down, I served them the newly made soup. With the others assisting me, everyone had a chance to eat.
After they were done, they all sighed contentedly, laying down on the ground. I was about to warn them about stomach problems, but then I remembered once more. Although they're hildren, they are actually dolls, not humans.
I waved my hand once more, and all the tables, utensils, pots...everything disappeared.
A day has passed by peacefully in our sanctuary.

Before the 'Deitabyte(s)' were created by the Automata(s), there was these book of data information they call, the Ancient Data.

The Ancient Data were said to be were the Knowledge and Wisdom of the Ancient Humans that were preserved before they went extinct, and a written mission that was designated to them was written.

Hello guys,
This is my first fanfic and of course it is based on 'Cecile' the Vtuber of Arts and her soothing authentic voice that is almost of that of an Automata.

This will be slightly based on the story that I had in mind the day she debuted, and the story of her and her brother on how she arrived in this world.

Note: I don't own the Cover and its Art, all rights are to [ theCecile ]'s artwork.

In the end, Pei Ge still bought three walkie-talkies.
One blue, one pink, and the last one was green.
After placing the three walkie-talkies in her shopping cart, she reckoned that she had everything she needed and headed to the payment counter.
"Welcome! Mr. Ji, the new toys have arrived today. I'll bring you there to take a look."
Walking past rows upon rows of toys and on her way to the counter, she heard the voice coming from the entrance.
Her footsteps paused when she heard the voice.
Mr. Ji… could it be him?
She instinctively thought of the man whom she had been hating for so many years.
Every time her daughter fell sick and every night that she thought of her dead child, she would think of the man who had caused her children to be in so much pain.
Therefore, even though she did not ask about this man and did not see any news related to him, his face was still etched deeply in her memory…
Heh!

What on earth are you thinking now?

How could that man appear here in a toy store?

Why would there be such a coincidence?
As she thought of this, she let down her guard and continued pushing the shopping cart toward the payment counter.
What she did not expect, though, was that she was not imagining it.
The man was indeed the person in her heart all these years.
"Mhm."
Ji Ziming lightly hummed and followed the store assistant into the toy store.
The two seemed to be in a maze. Even though they were so close to each other, they did not notice each other.
There was a shelf separating the two and blocking them from seeing each other so they did not notice each other's presence.
Tak, tak, tak!
Tap!
Just like this, they brushed past each other without knowing as a toy shelf separated them.
"Sir, these are the newest arrivals."
By the time the man reached the shelf for the newest toys, the woman had already reached the counter.
"Miss, do you require home delivery since you've bought so many toys?"
Seeing her shopping cart filled with so many toys, the cashier became respectful immediately.
After all, for a person to buy so many toys in their store, she was probably not an ordinary wealthy person!
These toys in the shopping cart cost about sixty to seventy thousand yuan.
Although this was nothing to the rich, one must realize that this amount was spent on mere toys for children.
This should be… considered as an exorbitant amount!
After all, these were just some toys.
"Yes. Can you help me ship them to New York?"
Pei Ge removed her sunglasses and replied in the affirmative as she paid the amount.
Both cashiers were stunned to see her with her sunglasses off.
These respectful and polite cashiers gawked at her.
"Cough!" Seeing that the two were gaping at her, she lightly coughed.
This light cough brought the two back to their senses.
"S-Sorry! We c-can. Our company has stores worldwide… Even if you order the items here, we can ship them to the US.
The two cashiers were blushing from embarrassment.
"In that case, okay."
She nodded and picked up the green walkie-talkie.
"Except for this item, please register all other stuff for me."
"Alright, miss. Will you be paying by card or cash?"
"Card." She proceeded to remove a debit card from her bag and, after signing her name, received a receipt. She then left the store.
Little did she know that, the moment she left the store, a man came chasing after her.
"Pei Ge!"
Ji Ziming, who had been picking up the toys, was stunned to overhear a familiar voice.
By the time he reacted and chased after her, he could already not see a shadow of her among the people who came and went…
"S-Sir? Are you all right?"
The store assistant followed the man and gulped when she saw him acting odd.
"…"
He remained silent for a moment before lowering his face and heading back to the toy store.
With quick steps, he walked to the payment counter.
"How does that woman from earlier look like?" he asked out of the blue.
Although the two cashiers thought that the question was absurd, they obediently described the woman to him. After all, the person who was asking was not just anyone.
"That lady looks very beautiful. She has a skinny frame and a beautiful face, just like a celebrity!"
"That's right! In fact, she's prettier than most celebrities!"
The cashiers spoke about the woman with smitten eyes. From their expression alone, one would know how beautiful that lady who had just left.
Hearing their description of the woman, the light in his eyes dimmed.
It's not her… It's not my… Pei Ge.
"Oh, right! That lady's name is nice as well!"
"Right! Her name is…"
For some reason, his heart was again in his mouth.
"Regina—a queen!"
"She seems to be of mixed race!"
When he heard the name, his heart sank deeper.
This time around, he was very certain that it was his illusion earlier.
She was not the one he had been looking for.
After experiencing hope and disappointment all together, he despondently headed back to the shelf filled with toys.
It could either be a coincidence or fate, but he happened to stand before the self Pei Ge had taken the walkie-talkies earlier.
"Sir, our newest toys, these walkie-talkies, are pretty convenient! Why don't you buy one for you child? The lady earlier bought three of them!"
For reasons unknown, Ji Ziming's hand instinctively reached out for a pair of walkie-talkies after hearing the store assistant's words.
It was a walkie-talkie with a light-green shade.


After a series of life-changing events, Pei Ge decides to start anew and rediscover her place in this world. She gets a new job, new friends and… a new boss whom she mistakes as a male host!

He helps her to get revenge on a back-stabbing friend, supports her when it seems that the world has given up on her, encourages her to be more confident about herself and even… messes up her blind dates!

With her strong working abilities and fiery attitude, she manages to climb up the ranks in the company (under the devious scheme of a certain CEO) and even gains a fan girl who can’t wait to be her sister-in-law.

As Pei Ge navigates through the ups and downs of office politics, family drama, finding her right partner and societal expectations, she realizes that things are not as simple as it seemed and everything she had believed in is tested…

31st January 1442
Everyone knew by this time the new building that would be moved would be the Tailor and Loom. 

After the crowd had dispersed and sales had been raked in through the slates of the chilled cream puffs and also several of the bread to be brought home for dinner or breakfast, we went over to the Gracehaven's General Store to move some things about.

Previously the General Store was well... A store to sell general items, but right now proper management for the General Store had to be stepped in. Besides the General Store would be called Gracehaven's Groceries Store next.

Since it is going to be a groceries store, at least it would be selling its own fish, meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables inside and would be equipped with a few Standing Freezers and Chillers.

A new layout of the new Gracehaven's Groceries Store had been drawn up and it would be a single-storied building, with 2 paying counters and also rows of shelves and open display wagons. 

The new Gracehaven's Groceries Store would be seeking consumables and a small section would be set aside to sell non-consumables such as health and beauty products, shampoo and body soaps. 

Much like a walk-in departmental store may look like.

The new building for the Gracehaven's First Tailor and Loom was now called Gracehaven's Clothing Store. It was a two-storey building and were divided by 4 sections and the main tailoring works behind the building.

One loom was set aside while the other was moved to the weaver production area to produce the woven mats and bamboo chicks instead.

By now, there was a design that was engineered by some of the engineers as well as Gwen as they came out with a machine called — a Lockstitch.

It looked like an oversized stapler, operated manually by hand but the end product was much faster than those using hand stitch.

A spool of thread was on the machine and then looped through an inverted needle with an eye in it. 

When the huge machine was pressed down (using the tip of the fingers due to the smooth mechanism), the needle penetrates the material intended to sew. 

When the machine was released, the thread somehow created a loop underneath with the help of a lock underneath the needle, creating a perfectly stitched material.

Gwen tested the machine and it can even sew cured leather...!

The only thing was coordinating the hand and eye movements as one needs to manipulate the machine and pull the sewn material backwards...! 

The birth of a crude sewing machine, eh? 

There were 4 such machines and meant for 4 sewers and along with Innes that would make intricate embroideries and such. Coupled with a single loom, intricate bright designs of woven cloth could be attained. 

At least the womenfolk, mainly from the Irish Travellers, would love to wear this kind of cloth that was full of vibrant colours and design even...!

As mentioned earlier, the concept of the clothing store was like a department store. There were separated into 4 sections, basically the apparel for infants and toddlers, kids wear, and adult men and ladies.

All the clothes were ready to wear while a small section was assigned for tailor-made ones. The bundles of cloth that were bought the previous time had been replenished in 4 types — linen, cotton, wool and silk. 

Prices per yard remain the same at 5, 10, 15 and 20 coppers respectively. Basically, it's selling at cost. 

There were 4 changing rooms where the patrons could try the outfits before purchase while for those who wish to have their own colours and materials could opt for made to measure options. This would be handled by Innes and some of the sewers.

The clothes that were placed on the open wagon were all the babies and toddler ones. Also, there was all kinds of wear and stuffed toys too. At least it does bring a variety of life and colours to a baby's life.

The rest of the clothing was hung on individual hangers made of curved reed, and a piece of an 'S' gooseneck was fixed in the centre of the hangers.

These clothes were hung on racks where customers would be free to handle them and of course, the store policy would be—no food and drinks inside the store. This would prevent smudging on the clothes and the trouble of washing them afterwards.

Rows of clothes, ranging from ages of children, comes in different colours and design, were put up on display. This is the first time someone would come to a walk-in departmental type of store to choose the clothes freely for their children.

Clothes carefully laid out on displays, each separated by types of materials as the customers would be able to mingle inside to make their choices. 

The 4 sewers, working in a single 8-hour shift and backed by another whin worked for an additional 8 hours thereafter was able to churn out the demands of the citizens. 

Fortunately, Innes had come forth to get statistics of the age group of the children as they would not want to overspend on the clothes. Thus they concentrated on some designs for the adults instead. 

2 floors lined with colourful and vibrant new clothes were on display and when the Gracehaven's Clothing Store was finally open in the next morning, throngs of people cheered when it was launched. 

All the remaining clothing from the General Store had been moved to their new location and the once folded clothes were now being hung on hangers and being air-dried to prevent mould from forming. 

Heather was the first to enter the new Clothing Store and was at the babies section and was picking the clothes for our twins. In tow was a helper who had pushed the stroller in.

"Dear... Come and help me pick some clothes for our babies, would you? It has been some time we had new clothes for our children. Come in here and help me, please."

I furrowed my eyebrows and can't help wonder — Women, it's best to leave them to shop alone or their husbands would be dragged to accompany their antics of window shopping every single piece of clothing available for the babies or even for themselves...! Hahaha.

(Do I sound like a male chauvinist pig?)

"Ah yes, my dear... Here I come... Hmm, this cute little stuffed toy do suit our Amy don't you think? How any Jay-R, eh... Do you want a stuffed toy too? Or maybe a set of bow and arrows so you could go hunting with Daddy. Hehehe."

I teased the two twins in the stroller as I jingled some stuff toys at them and they laughed at me and stretched their hands as if they wanted to have them as well.

Old Kayla used to tell us. Once our children learned to walk, crawl and sit on their own. Use some things to gauge as a tool for their future — a journal, coins, a wooden dagger and some fruits and vegetables.

If any of the babies crawl and sit next to any of the item, it would signify their future much.

Another ancient folklore, eh?

Sarahiah continued, "Now I have given Caleb store three, which is C and C Company as my anniversary gift."
Caleb's dad then hugged her and said, "Thank you for saving my legacy my child."
Caleb overheard when Sarahiah whispered to his dad, "How are you feeling now?"
"I will be better than fine now."
Caleb then noticed when she took out some other documents from the said envelope, the bill of purchase was written in white papers and those papers she took out were cream so he wondered, 'What are those?'
That is when Caleb heard her saying, "I especially want to thank my four wonderful, trustworth and loving brothers, there are many times when I would have a need and I will call them. And I know even now, if I call them they will respond to me, so my dear and precious brothers, I have something for each of you, and bring my favorite nephews and niece with you."
Sarahiah watched them walk up in order, according to their age, Jerod, Matthias, Joshua and then Darius. She went to Jerod and David first, she gave them the document facing downwards, just like in an examination room.
"Don't look yet," she said as she did the same for Matthias, then Joshua and Darius last. "Now you all might be wondering and anxious to see what it is, but please bare with me for a minute longer, ad don't look yet, please. When mom died, I never knew she had a life insurance put aside, it was only when dad got sick and the doctor told me to bring his medical plan if he had one. While going through their documents I got this insurance plan she had, as you all know, they didn't make a will, so I took that insurance money and paid out for S and S store. They had given me the house and the store, but today, I want to show my thanks and gratitude to you four for always being there for me. I have taken it upon myself to distribute forty eight percent of A and S stores profit to the four of you. It was the family store, I on the other hand will manage it, you can give to your wives a percentage if you choose, I will not be offended because they makes you all happy, and are the ones who brought forth these precious princes and angel, that I can call my nephews and niece."
When Sarahiah replaced the bill of ownership in the envelope, she then pulled out a smaller envelopes which she gave the boys to put their documents. Caleb saw Jerod hugged her and the tears were flowing, he noticed the others did the same, and they were all in tears as their wives came over and hugged them.
Suddenly it came to Caleb's recollection that the courier had brought him an envelope, but then he wondered where did he put it. He closed his eyes and tried to go back in his mind of what occurred after he collected it. It could only be in one place, and that was in the study.
Caleb looked around only to see Alana was in tears and he wondered what was going through her mind, but his dad was hugging his mom and Petal was hugging Alan, he felt so proud that Sarahiah was his wife and she made his family proud.
Caleb noticed Aaliyah and Ricky was holding each others hands and he wondered if they had reconciled, 'Oh my Lord, that would be great, even if they have intentions too.'
When Sarahiah went to him, he hugged her, "Do you know how much I love you? And I am so proud of you, you made my dad so happy and proud that his legacy remains in his name."
'If he only knows what have occurred earlier today, and how scared we were. Thank God it wasn't the boys who did the arrest,' Sarahiah thought.
Caleb led her to the table where the food were, "I am hungry, let us eat and then we will mingle with everyone."
Seeing Petal and Alan coming by the table, Sarahiah asked her to find out if everyone had eaten already, and if they did not, then they should come and have dinner. 
...
Margret held Jonas hand, "Do you need something to eat?" she asked.
"No my love, I just need to lie down."
"Jonas, the children are here now."
"I know love, but it seems the injection the doctor have given me is now beginning to work."
"Okay I will help you," Margret said while she was thinking, 'I just want to be alone away from everyone to thank God.'
Margret led Jonas out and headed to his room, 'Lord you know all along that Sarah had saved Jonas legacy, so you allowed whatever that happen to draw my family back to Your house.' She thanked God silently for bring Sarahiah into their home.
When they reached their room Jonas went to the washroom and asked Margret to rest his towel on the bathroom door before she returned to the children.

Nevil eyes never left Caleb and Sarahiah as he thought, 'While we were squandering our money and swindling dad's to fill our vices the business was collapsing, and was at the point of bankruptcy. And God had chosen a woman for Caleb to save the family legacy, Thank you Lord, I am so sorry for being a part of the heartache to my parents. I was angry when mom fired me, but you allowed that so we could see our faults and draw us back to you. I notice how Caleb is, but earlier there was a sadness. No one told me what was happening on Saturday when her brother arrested that young man, but from what I gathered, he was after Caleb's wife. Is something going on that mom and dad are concealing from the rest of us? I must talk to dad.'


“Excuse me.” 
“Can I help you with something sir?” 
Turning in a rage, “will you give the young lady that get wet, this money for me please?” 
“I am sorry Sir, but I cannot do that.” 
“Then kindly check and see if she has fainted or something, the length of time women takes to change.” 
“Sir, you don’t understand, the young lady left almost ten minutes ago.” 
“Was she badly hurt?” 

He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

I sit in class and stare absent-mindedly at Emo Ute. She looks so ugly today, as if she got an electric shock from a toaster. Her hair is standing up. So this is what happens when an Emo discovers hairspray...

She has been insisting on going to my place for two days to say hello to Diablo the ice block.

But of course, not as ugly as that pig Manuel is trying to woo - VSCO Girl Angela Merle. This Tik Tok girl has no idea what has happened the day before. Nobody knows - nobody knows that Boomer's burrito shack disappeared into posterity without a funeral or word of comfort. Only me and Manuel, the successors of the burritos, are aware of this new world.

I look at him. He looks emaciated. His eyes are sunken and his hands are clawing into an empty pack of chewing gum, a bit like withdrawal symptoms. This is kind of creepy...

The mood darkens when Mr. Julius Plato S. announces the death of the burrito stall.

"Dear sailors, yesterday one o' us went t' Valhalla. Arrrr, a truly beautiful battle. Wha' an honorary burrito scallywag Boomer had been. Well, dear crew, his store has capsized."

"Ohhh, but this is a ksksksksks catastrophe. The poor store! Save the burritos!!!!", says the VSCO girl, Angela Merle.
"Waaaaaaha" can be heard from the back row.

My words are stuck in my throat. I can't describe in words how painful the burrito joint's demise is. But I remain brave, because I have promised Manuel. No, I will defend the dignity of the burritos!

You want to know why I love burritos?

The burrito is a completely homemade dish. So many other foods are based on strange names, funny ingredients, pork you can identify with, or Christmas.

Not the burrito. The burrito is completely absurd. It is a generic dish in flat bread and an arbitrary method of celebrating the possession of two dollars. The first person who ate the burrito did not do so because they recognized it. The first person who ate the burrito did not do so because of a pre-existing fast-food format. The first person who ate the burrito chose a dish which was literally pulled out of the ether by mere human creativity and willpower.

The burrito is proof that humans can stare into the meaningless emptiness of eternity and impose their own meaning on it. I will always eat the burrito, my guys!

Julius Plato S. continues.
"You shall not cry, you are strong sailors,
'cept for Kaithleen, she's a weak dosser."

"I am righteously outraged, ye old fool,
Receive my succulent punches, bold buffoon."

Emo Ute starts to speak.
"Now, finish this farce I plead!
It's Diablo I want to see.
This request 's merely wee!"

Manuel stands up from his chair,
"Enough games, long I pull thy ear
turned white and pallid out of fear
when my maw arrives at your rear!"

I shout into the night,
"So do you want to fight
like a dog or noble knight?"

Misery in guise of Manuel,
"Galloo-galley, our heyday's here.
Rapture follows closely 'hind thy feet!"

Emo Ute and her book,
"Listen closely, children look!
Rescue's coming really soon!"

"But where? But where?", a choir's prayer.
"Patience, children.", Emo bewares.
"Oh, why'd you torment us so?
"Do not go wasting your woes!"

Ute slams the book together and opens a new one.

"2+3=7 9-0=9"

A math book… Goddamn curse.

Manuel starts to cry. That was probably all a bit too much. I grab his hand and pull him out of the class - during the lesson! 30 seconds later the bell rings.

"STOP!1!!1! I MUST SEE DIABLO!!!1",
Emo Ute screams and runs after us.

Not that crazy buckle. She is becoming more and more anti-emo day by day. I told her that Diablo hates emos, even though this boy is so hollow and empty that he literally doesn't like anything.

I hide a dark secret...

When night falls, I like to run across the streets without looking left and right, hoping to be run over someday. The only driving force in my life is waiting for the day I die. I scream, but no one hears me.
Especially at school, I am constantly reminded of this bleak reality: I'm surrounded by idiots!

Seiji handed the anime chocolate over to the little girl.

The little girl’s eyes sparkled brightly with excitement as she took the chocolate figure with her tiny hands and inspected it with awe.

"Haruna-chan, remember that you shouldn’t cry! Since the magic spirits dislike the sound of crying, if you always cry, they’ll stay far away from you," Seiji spoke in a soft tone, "but if Haruna-chan smiles frequently, they’ll come visit you more often—your mother can confirm this as well…"

Seiji indicated with his eyes to the young woman that she should agree with him as he said this.

"Oh… oh, yeah, that’s right, Haruna…" The young woman, who had gotten a little too absorbed in watching Seiji, finally returned to her senses and agreed with him as she gently talked to her daughter while looking at Seiji with an expression full of gratitude.
