What is seen in them is a Protagonist that harvests the Fate of that said World as a Child of Destiny.

Sometimes Fate plays the cruelest of tricks at someone.

When two worlds clash together in the very time of their collapse, what will await a simple man if he gets thrown into action that he never before experienced?

Grant and Emma hugged their grandparents tightly, then clambered into the back seat of the rented Chevrolet Cruze.  Jackie winced again at the metallic orange hatchback.  Were going to look like a piece of fruit rolling down the highway, she thought.

You all have a wonderful time in Orlando, Ann said, leaning into the window for one more kiss.

We will! the children chorused.

Thank Grandma and Grandpa again for the money, Jackie prompted.  Her parents had pressed a crisp twenty-dollar bill into each childs hand at breakfast that morning.

Thank you for the money! they sang.

Youre welcome, Jim answered.  Spend it on something you want.

Jackie turned to hug her parents one last time.  Thank you for having us.  Thank you for everything.

Oh, sweetie, you know youre welcome here anytime.  Her mother hugged her fiercely.  Were so proud of you.

I love you!  Choking back the lump in her throat, she kissed her fathers cheek and got into the car.  You guys should come up and see the place once we get it spruced up.  By the end of the summer, it will look like new.

We just might do that, Ann said.  Your father thinks he misses snow.  She gave an amused wink.

Jackie cued up the map on her smartphone and pointed the orange hatchback toward Orlando.

Two bathroom stops, a side trip to a McDonalds drive-through, and about a million are we there yets later, they drove beneath the Walt Disney World gate.  Jackie carefully followed the signs to the Wilderness Lodge.

As she drove the orange hatchback under the enormous portico, a smiling young man wearing a khaki park rangers uniform stepped up to open her door.  The name tag on his chest indicated that he was Tom.  Welcome to the Wilderness Lodge.

Thank you, Jackie said as she reached for her shoulder bag and stepped out of the car.  The kids scrambled to get themselves unbuckled.

May I have a look at your reservation? Tom asked, producing a small hand-held scanner.

Jackie reached into her purse and produced the envelope containing their reservations and park tickets.  Rifling through the contents, she extracted the page she was looking for and handed it to the parking attendant, who scanned it quickly.

His eyes widened a bit, and he grinned broadly.  It seems that your stay includes unlimited premium parking.  Well just unload your bags and take care of your car for you.  Unless youd like to go somewhere after youve checked in.  He looked to her questioningly.

Not recalling having paid for special parking, Jackie frowned a bit.  It must have been included in the package, she considered.  No, I think weve had all the driving we can stand for one day.  Were ready to check in and relax.

Excellent! Tom enthused.  Well get your bags to the front desk and you can be on your way.

While someone else took care of the rented car, Tom loaded their things onto a brass luggage cart and pushed it through the enormous entry.  As they followed, even the children seemed awed by the massive lobby.  It looked for all the world like a giant log lodge straight out of Yellowstone or something, with its nearly 100-foot ceiling hung with gigantic western-motif chandeliers.

Hiking her bag higher onto her shoulder, she took the children by the hand.  The line to check in zig-zagged back and forth a couple of times and Jackie sighed deeply.  Grant and Emma were beginning to point around the lobby excitedly and she knew theyd only grow more restless as they waited in line.  But there was nothing else she could do.

Enviously, she glanced at families with two parents, one to take care of checking in while the other entertained the kids.  She could have accepted her parents offer to come along so they could watch the children some of the time.  But she wanted to have a family vacation, just the three of them.

Determinedly, she headed for the end of the line.

Oh, Ms. Walker, Tom called, stopping their luggage cart at the end of the check-in counter, where a porter took over, discreetly spiriting away the cart.  You can check in here.

The area of the counter hed indicated had no line, no back and forth dividers.  Just a smiling young woman dressed in pioneer clothes.  Grant and Emma in tow, she headed in that direction.  Glancing above the woman, she saw that the sign read VIP Check-In.

I suppose this is where the people with the package deal go?  It seemed odd that theyd be considered VIP.  Shed scoured the internet for Disney vacation deals as soon as shed known about their special guest and the extra income that would be generated by her extended stay, finding an economical package including accommodations and park tickets.

Blake had encouraged her, telling her that she and the kids deserved a break.  Deserved may have been a strong word, but theyd all sacrificed since moving back to Lake Miranda, especially when David had taken off.  Absently, she hoped that once she and the kids returned, Blake would take the opportunity to enjoy a vacation himself.

As Jackie approached the front desk, she heard Tom say to the woman behind the counter, Liz, this is Ms. Walker and her children.  

He bowed dramatically to Jackie.  Ms. Walker, I leave you in very capable hands.  Have a wonderful stay.

Thank you, Jackie murmured, feeling slightly overwhelmed.  She approached the counter where Liz, according to her name tag, beamed at her.

Welcome to the Wilderness Lodge.  We have you in the Yellowstone Suite for the next week.

Jackie frowned.  No, there must there must be some mistake.  She unfolded her reservation on the counter and turned it to face the other woman.  I reserved a double room.  Its part of the package I purchased.

Liz smiled kindly.  Yes, maam.  Youve been upgraded.  Daphne should be here shortly to explain everything.

Out of the corner of her eye, Jackie watched Grant and Emma approach a giant totem pole, reaching curiously to touch it, as she tried to digest what the woman had said.

Hullo, everyone!  How are we doing today? chirped a bright female voice with a crisp British accent.

Jackie turned to see a smiling young woman with light brown hair.  She wore a navy skirt and matching vest over a white blouse.  Her name tag read Daphne.

As you can see, Im Daphne.  She grinned down at Emma.  And who might you be?

Im Emma.  This is Grant.  Hes my brother.  The little girl looked up at the woman curiously.

Well, Emma.  And brother Grant.  And Mum.  She smiled at Jackie and winked.  Ill be your personal guide during your visit with us this week.  Lets get your things upstairs.  We have a schedule to keep.

Daphne took Emma and Grant by the hand and headed to the elevator.  Jackie hurried along behind them.   

On the seventh floor, Daphne led them to the end of the corridor.  A small placard designated the last door as the Yellowstone Suite.  Using the keycard shed been given downstairs, Jackie unlocked the door and swung it open.  The children ran inside squealing happily.  Daphne smiled kindly at Jackie, and they followed.  The short entryway opened into a large living room, furnished in western luxury with heavy leather sofas and chairs.  A granite bar separated the living room from a dining room that seated eight comfortably.  A room with two double beds opened off the living room.  

Grant ran inside, leaping onto one of the beds.  This one is mine! he shouted.

Emma jumped onto the other one.  Well, this one is mine! 

Mum, your room is at the end of the hall, Daphne said, nodding her head in that direction.

Jackie went back through the living room, past a tiny kitchenette, to the door at the end of the hall.  It opened onto the largest bedroom Jackie had ever seen, with a huge king-sized bed.  The luxurious bath had a glass walk-in shower and a soaking tub.  

Her bags had been placed at the foot of the bed.  Idly, she ran her hand along the top of them before returning to the living room.  Daphne and the children were outside on the terrace overlooking the hubbub of the pool area below, with a view of the lake beyond.

This is just lovely, she sighed.  But I know this isnt the room I reserved.  Im afraid theres been a mistake.

No, maam.  Theres no mistake.  The woman smiled kindly.  You were upgraded at the request of someone very special to this company.

At Jackies confused frown, Daphne approached her, lowering her voice.  Shasta Pyke has requested that we upgrade you in every way possible.  This is the nicest room in the hotel.  Your tickets are upgraded to allow you to park-hop at will.  And, she smiled, you have me.  I will make sure that you and the children see and do everything you want throughout your stay.

Jackies jaw dropped.  Shasta Pyke.  The rude young actress whod been utterly intolerable when shed arrived at the lodge.  Now, shed had their vacation upgraded?  It seemed unbelievable.

Now, Daphne continued, about the schedule.  Lovely accommodations though these might be, you wont be staying here tonight.

We wont? Emma said, sounding disappointed.

Not if you want to stay in Cinderellas castle tonight.  Daphne grinned happily as Emma gaped at her.

Jackie sank heavily into a deep leather chair.  Cinderellas castle?

Daphne nodded.  Ms. Pyke was very specific.  However, she turned to Emma, you cant stay in a castle without looking like a proper princess.  First on our schedule, we get you a princess makeover.

While Emma ran squealing around the room, Grant crossed his arms and frowned.  Whats the big deal about a princess anyway?

Oh, Master Grant, why so gloomy? Daphne teased.  On the schedule for tomorrow, you get a Jedi makeover, so you can be in the Star Wars parade.  How does that sound?

Grants mouth flew open.  Really? he squeaked. 

Yes, young mister, really, but you must be kind to your sister today, Daphne laughed.

Mom, this is the best vacation ever! Grant shouted.

Birth
Birth is something really special in the life of everyone involved. Be it for the parents who finally see their child and can hold it, or for the child, which is, well, born.
Imagine the Sound of a Birth. Cries from every side.
The cries of pain of the Mother.
The cries of the child.
The cries of joy from the father.
Everyone is happy.
This Birth, however was different. It was hard to even call a birth. What was born, didn't look like a human being, or even any other life form. It looked like chair made of flesh. And not the kind of chair one would have at home in the living room.
It was like a rotten chair one would find in a haunted house of the 1800s in which nobody was in since the death of the owner, and the skeleton was still sitting on the chair while you heard a strange laughter from the next room.
Well, and there were cries too. But not from the rotten chair, the mother or the father, but a loud angry :
"SHIT!!! WHAT IS THAT. BRING IT AWAY! I DON'T WANT THAT IN MY SIGHT! THAT IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE LAST ONE!"
To your Information, the 'Birth' of the Rotten Chair didn't happen at a Hospital, but at Research Facility Nr.3.
The rotten chair to be exact, wasn't a flesh-made rotten chair, but Prototype Nr.1.34 of the Project r3sh, whatever that means.
" We end Prototype Series 1 from now. It isn't the thing we wish for." Said the leader of Project r3sh, A lean man with long, red beard and a bald head. The leader of the Project was called S. S wore a long white lab coat with the inscription P.r3sh over the heart. He looked through a glass window in another room with a big machine in it. This machine had an opening through which you could see a muddy, yellow liquid. In this liquid swam our beloved little rotten chair, 1.34. Everything one could see trough this opening was doon after sucked away by a pipe. 1.34 was no exception to this.
At the same time, S had an angry look on his face while he put on glasses and looked at the tablet an wrote something in a document.
"I have to succeed soon. It is the only way", thought S to himself. "Prepare for Prototype Series 2" said S to the other people who were in the same room as him. Thay all looked frustrated about the failure of 1.34,on which some of them set high hopes to be the final Prototype of Project r3sh. However, this rotten chair wasn't the result they thought of.
"What will Prototype Series 2 concentrate on?" asked one of the researchers in the room.     
We failed with the Endoskeleton, so we will continue with the Exoskeleton. So at least we will have an armored chair rather than a rotten chair next time " joked S.
"At least something"
"When will we continue, S?"
"If the Preparation will be going fast, half a year, if slow, 9 months. I don't want any Mistakes by Series 2. You know we don't have much time. If we fail, It may mean the end."
The talks went on for a while, until S stepped out of the Room and walked into a complete white corridor. The corridor was only several meters in the direction S walked in. One could see only a big, black ominous door with the inscription S on it. It was S room. In the room there wasn't anything else than a desk and a bed. There weren't any decorations or personal stuff. Just these two and a laptop on the desk. S went to a blank space in the room and kneeled down, as if he were to pray,and if you were to hear good enough, you could hear a voice say.
"The End is near. Please, Lord save us. Oh Almighty, save us. Your Children will die. How can we prove us worthy to receive your grace. Please allow us to survive."
You could hear it over and over again, every time a bit louder
And louder
And Louder
AND LOUDER
"THE END IS NEAR. PLEASE, LORD SAVE US. OH ALMIGHTY, SAVE US. YOUR CHILDREN WILL DIE. HOW CAN WE PROVE US WORTHY TO RECEIVE YOUR GRACE. PLEASE ALLOW US TO SURVIVE."
Until a gold light pierced the shoulder of S as if the higher being said:
Don't bother me, little ant. 

Friday came, and lunch was abuzz with excitement.  The children were beyond thrilled that their performance would follow the noon meal.  Mrs. Graves had worked with them to create billy goat costumes, and theyd even come up with a baggy pair of overalls and a plastic Viking helmet with horns to complete the troll outfit Angus would wear.

As soon as the beginning riders finished eating, they hurried off to join Anna at the barn.  By the time Angus arrived, she had already set up some barrels toward the west end of the riding ring just across the rail from the low bleachers where their audience would sit, and shed laid boards across the barrels to form the railings of the trolls bridge.  

Further down the ring and closer to the barn, the horses stood saddled and waiting.  As the children clambered to enter the ring, their parents made their way to the bleachers.

Anna gathered the group of riders, by now bedecked in their makeshift costumes.  Okay, everybody, are we ready?

Yeah! they chorused.  Over the childrens heads, she and Angus exchanged amused glances.

Okay, lets get you guys in the saddle, and well rock and roll.  

With everyone on horseback and Angus on Clementine stationed by the bridge, Anna greeted the onlookers.  Welcome, ladies and gentlemen!  Were happy youre here today.  To celebrate the end of their first week,  the Beginning Riders would like to present for you  She gestured dramatically toward the group.  The Six Billy Goats Gruff.

At the poetic license taken with the title, the audience tittered happily.  Ariel Hilliard waved wildly.  Hi, Mommy!  Hi, Daddy!

Her parents proudly waved back as the show began.  The first two riders, the smallest in the group, rode behind the rails Anna had set up.  The entire group chanted, Trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap.

Angus rode toward the bridge from the opposite side of the riding ring.  Arrrrgh!  Whos that trip-trappin over me bridge? he roared, much to the delight of the children who giggled with pleasure.

The other two pairs of billy goats did much the same, and by the time Anguss troll leaned forward on Clementines neck in defeat, the audience was on their feet and applauding wildly.

After Anna helped the children from the horses, they hurried to their parents

Without asking, Angus removed his Viking helmet, took Clementine by the reins, and headed toward the barn.  Anna followed with Dusty, a short brown horse.  

That went really well, she commented as she led Dusty to a spot not far from where Angus had parked Clementine.

It was great fun, he smiled.  The wee ones got a kick out of it.

It would have been nothing without the troll, though, she added, looking up at him through her eyelashes.

A sense of unease settled in his gut, and he knew there was something he needed to mention to her.  Anna, he began softly, I meant to say something earlier, but somehow I kept getting distracted.

As though sensing his direction, she stiffened noticeably as she began to loosen the cinch beneath Dustys belly.  Yeah?  She was focused intensely on her horse.

 I just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your fiancé.  Ross mentioned that he was killed in a fire.

She blanched, her eyes wide.  He what?

Angus shrugged lightly.  I was looking at the plaque by the tree.  Ross was walking past, and he told me about the accident.

Lips pressed tightly together, she shook her head.  Ross has a big damn mouth, she said tightly.

She jerked the saddle from Dustys back and stomped off toward the tack room.   Angus exhaled sharply and followed her.

Look, Anna.  He found himself talking to her back.  I dinna mean tae pry.  I dinna, honestly.  But the fact is that I know.  For me not tae say anythin would be dishonest.

She whirled around, her grey eyes flashing angrily.  Her voice was low but intense.  Well, great!  Now you know.  And you told me.  So were square.  No worries.

Boot heels scuffing the hay-strewn barn floor, she stalked back out to the riding ring to get the last horse.

Angus hurried after her.  Anna, wait.  

Not slowing down, she reached Rocket and grabbed his reins, tugging the horse toward the barn.  Angus stepped directly in her path.

Im sorry about how I found out, but Im not sorry I know.  Its a horrible tragedy, and I want you tae know how sorry I am.

Hey there, gorgeous!  They told me Id find you here.  

Angus and Anna both turned to see a handsome blond man striding toward them.  He seemed to Angus to be about a head shorter than himself, but he was solidly built and tanned, as though he worked outdoors.  As the man moved closer, Anna gasped.

Bruce?  Oh, my gosh, its been years!  She thrust Rockets reins into Anguss hand and met the stranger at the entrance to the ring, throwing her arms around him.

I cant believe youre here!  How have you been?

The stranger glanced curiously in Anguss direction, then nodded.  Oh, you know.  Keeping busy, especially this time of year.

Angus looped Rockets reins back around the rail and approached the pair.  The strangers eyes widened in apparent recognition.  Hey, youre

Oh, yeah, Anna interrupted blithely, Bruce, this is Angus McGregor.  Hes a guest.  Angus, this is Bruce Keaton.

Bruce stuck out his hand.  I thought you looked familiar.  Its an honor to meet you.

Angus bobbed his head, eyeing the man warily.  Its a pleasure.

I just cant believe youre here, Anna repeated.  What are you doing?

The man shrugged slightly.  Aw, Im meeting my crew.  Were on our way to Idaho.  Theyve got a hot one out there right now.  Were going to relieve a company thats already been there two weeks solid.  In fact, I have to be there tomorrow.  But I was close, so I thought Id pop in and see if I can take you to dinner, talk about the old days.

Angus felt Annas eyes dart to him before she smiled at Bruce.  Yeah, absolutely, that sounds great.  I have to do my thing here, but I can duck out a little early.

Bruce nodded, smiling.  Great!  Ill go catch up with Andy and Ross, and Ill see you in a while.

Anna was all smiles.  Ill see you in a while.

The man turned to Angus.  It was nice meeting you, man.

Angus nodded politely, and he and Anna watched Bruce head off down the trail toward the main lodge.

When he was out of sight, Anna whirled to face Angus.  What?!  Her hands were on her hips, and he saw the spark of challenge in her eyes.

He turned his hands palms up.  What what?

Bruce and Sawyer were best friends.  I havent seen him since the funeral.  So if I want to have dinner with him, its my own business.

I didnt say anythin.

An angry index finger waved an inch from his nose.  But you thought it.  She led Rocket into the barn, leaving him standing alone.

Watching her walk away, he grimaced and scuffed a bootheel in the dust.  I mi have though it, but ye dont know so.

(Before I begin this theory, I would like to say that I have indeed broadened the scope for the theories, animation was big, but a lot harder to be original. Now, with nostalgic, anything from 2015 on back is fair play for this. Look out for a lot more updates to this because it will get a lot more very soon.)

Well, this was part of a question I saw on Reddit multiple times. Anyone who doesn't know, I am a big fan of anime, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and a lot of early 2010's, 2000's, and late 90's shows and movies.

The question was how does being in Tartarus allow Percy to control any liquid. In the end, I saw it a different way than we saw from one person's point of view. I have two instances where we got to see the effects on demigods in detail, and one where the effects are implied heavily. The demigods in question are three of the greatest in the story's canon. Annabeth Chase the Daughter of Athena, Percy Jackson the Son of Poseidon, and Nico Did Angelo the Son of Hades.

We'll start with Percy thanks to him being the one who's perspective we see throughout the main overpowered moments in Tartarus. He ends up being able to control any liquid in Tartarus, from the Underworld rivers to poison from various plants. When you think of his father's abilities that Percy is confirmed to have, this is not actually supposed to be possible within the realm of his father's control. It is stated multiple times that Poseidon controls the Sea not all water everywhere, but Percy is known for controlling Fresh Water, as well. Though, any water under the control of a minor god/goddess has never been able to be controlled without forcing it on that deity. When each Underworld river is known as the blood of Tartarus (god) it doesn't make sense for him to control any if them in Tartarus(place). Though, when he entered Tartarus, his entire mood changes more often. This is something common to various children of the gods thanks to them having what is known as separate moods. Children of Poseidon are known for being born with the mood of the god at the time of birth. We have seen Percy's (various) godly siblings, and they are all across the board, though the ones who are monsters seem to have a more angry and destructive nature. Is it odd that Percy begins to show signs of the same mood throughout his time in Tartarus (place)? His first combative action was followed by a noticibly dark phrase about his enemy "dying too easily" and that monster "deserved worse". Yet, during his fight with Akhlys, he was able to control poison to nearly consume the goddess of poison herself. The only thing that stopped him was Annabeth becoming intensely frightened. Even during the fight at the Doors of Death, he was controlling every Underworld river despite being at the heart of Tartarus (place) and having the god Tartarus himself before him. Amazing how he was there for what seemed to be around a week in the mortal world, but already had such a boost in power that he could take on an entire army of everyone he ever fought from Titans to basic monsters. All of which were incredibly hard fights in single combat in the mortal world and were supposed to be stronger than ever thanks to being in their birthplace. All this could point to Tartarus (place) strengthening the abilities of demigods after prolonged exposure and also slowly making them the equivalent of their godly parent.

Next is Nico Do Angelo, and boy does Death Boy end up getting the short end of the stick with Tartarus. So, he actually got through most of Tartarus alone. Something that shouldn't be possible in any sense of the word. Yes, this kid was captured, but that could be attributed to fatigue from going alone. His time in Tartarus (place) actually might have caused PTSD of the darkness. Oddly, this may be his father's reaction to being forced to the Underworld for so long. Plus, his power was dramatically increased to the point of being able to shadow travel halfway across the world in around 8 days time with only a day of forced rest in between each jump. Just trying to shadow travel once a year before would have put him in a comatose state. Another thing he obtained after returning from Tartarus (place) was an odd affinity with other children of the Underworld. Even to the point of enhancing and helping his sister Hazel control her powers while the same worked in reverse. The final upgrade to his powers was some measure of dream control, albeit not in regards to his sister's side of control as far as we know. From sending dream messages to causing mortals to dream "deeply", this kid from the 1940's grew stronger at an insane level after returning from Tartarus (place) and it could only be attributed to his time there. In other words, the same thing as Percy, though he kept his strength at that level longer.

The final character is Annabeth Chase the Daughter of Athena. (As a fellow Cabin Six member, I hope this part is true thanks to the overpowered nature of the upgrade.) Okay, before Annabeth fell to Tartarus (place), we were told the Children of Athena do not obtain any special powers, and are basically the equivalent of a Olympian athlete in mortal terms. Yes, they may not get any powers in the mortal world, but there are a surprisingly many times where Tartarus (place) affects her in extremely good ways for her combat style. Among these, she gained a sixth sense upon entry to Tartarus (place). When Percy killed his first monster there, she had sensed it coming for her just before Percy killed it. Later on, she was blinded and still capable of fighting multiple enemies even proving capable of defeating at least three alone before being "saved" by Percy. During the time Percy was controlling the poison, she was still suffering from some side effects and ended up sensing Percy's entire mood and thought process before seeing what was happening and calming him easily. Not only that, she confirmed she knew what he thought by saying, "Some things aren't meant to be controlled." This quote was an odd choice, but could be explained by simply saying that Athena kids in Tartarus (place) end up getting an upgrade to their mind that borders on reading others thoughts. Since their abilities aren't considered noticable, and they are children of the mind of Athena, they are likely to have that part of themselves get an upgrade rather than any physical or new abilities based on warfare. In the end, Annabeth Chase actually got mentally upgraded, yet didn't keep it at all after that. Almost like Athena wasn't a permanent change thanks to being the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy and dealing with ideas and thoughts rather than abilities like the rest of the gods and goddesses.

Overall, I would like to go through the next few theories to explain what other demigods would likely get as upgrades in Tartarus (place), and that would be extremely original in terms of what each one would acquire. So, next week, I will do Hermes, Dionysus, and Ares.

When they finally returned to Singapore, Finland felt ready to work hard so she could apply for an extended leave from the end of the year to the end of January 2019.
When they landed back on the Continental Hotel rooftop, Jadeith and Ben were already waiting for them. Finland recalled Caspar saying that Jadeith was his nephew. She took a closer look at Jaedith, trying to find similarities between them.
Jadeith had long golden hair tied in a man bun, and his eyes were emerald green. He was a bit taller and more muscled than Caspar. At a glance, he looked very different from Caspar who had black hair, blue eyes, a slender body, and more delicate features. Maybe Jadeith inherited more genes from his father.
When she asked Caspar about it, Finland got confirmation.
"Jadeith does look a lot like his father. He is a pure alchemist because he is immortal without having to take the immortality potion, because both Flora and Louis, his parents, are alchemists. Since Louis only took the potion when he turned 40, their children only stopped aging in their 30's. That's why Jadeith looks older than me." Caspar opened his cellphone and showed a photo, "This is Flora, Louis, and their three children. You can see that Louis looks like he is in his 40's, Flora looks very young at an age of 22, and their children, Alexandrite, Garnet, and Jadeith look like they are in their 30's. "
Finland looked at the five people carefully. She could see the very obvious resemblance between Flora and Caspar. Their faces were almost the same, except that Flora's hair was golden. One thing all five of them had in common was that they all have very brilliant eyes. Finland remembered admiring Caspar's brilliant pair of blue eyes when they first met, and now she saw that the five alchemists on Caspar's cellphone also have very brilliant eyes.
"Does everyone in your family have such brilliant eyes... or is this the specific feature of an Alchemist?" she asked later.
Caspar cleared his throat, "You're very clever. The effect of the immortality potion is that all cells in our body become perfect and our eyes become brighter than that of an ordinary human. That's why I am able to recognize an alchemist only from his/her eyes."
Finland thought about Jadeith's brilliant green eyes. A vision of Katia came into her mind – Katia also had a very beautiful pair of brilliant blue eyes. It was like the saying, the eyes are a window to the soul... Finland thought that she would also be able to recognize an Alchemist from their eyes…
She looked into Caspar's eyes and admired how beautiful the color was. Finland herself had brown eyes that were not special. In her heart, she hoped that their children would follow their father and inherit his pair of beautiful blue eyes...
"Why are you looking at me like that?" teased Caspar, "Are you thinking about our children's eye color?"
Oh God... can Alchemists also read minds? complained Finland inwardly.
"I..."
"Don't worry, I can't read minds, no way..." Caspar laughed, "I was just guessing because you were talking about eye color and then you stared at my eyes with a strange look."
Pfew...
Finland nodded honestly, "I hope our children will have your eyes."
Caspar smiled very wide. He kissed Finland and immediately carried her into the bedroom. He didn't care whose eyes their children would take after. He was glad Finland was already thinking about being the mother of his children.

Finland was busy with work that whole week. She oversaw the arrangement of Katia's art exhibition and wanted to set up avenue before Christmas. She also spent a lot of time contacting Atlas Corp potential buyers and making appointments for B2B meetings in Indonesia.
She gave extra effort working on projects for Atlas Corp because she knew that this company now belonged to Caspar. Which also meant that it was indirectly hers.
Every day she had breakfast and dinner with Caspar even though both of them were very busy, especially Caspar, who seemed to be out of the country a lot lately. He always tried to come home before dinner, and Finland was touched to see Caspar often arrive home earlier than her. She knew that he was super busy…
"Honey, can you take time off again in a few days?" Caspar asked after dinner when they were enjoying a dessert wine.
"I can't, I have to go to the office every day to look diligent and hardworking so I can apply for an extended leave at the end of this month." Finland shook her head, "Why?"
"Hmm..." Caspar unlocked his cellphone and contacted Stanis. "Stanis, Rosa Wang should fly here. Finland can't take any more leave."
Rosa Wang?
Finland knew that Rosa Wang was a very famous and widely discussed wedding dress designer. She appeared in a lot of magazines and is probably the most sought-after designer in the world. She lived in New York and bookings were usually made years in advance.
"Who should fly here?" asked Finland, confused.
"Rosa Wang is going to design and make your wedding dress. She lives in New York. I wanted to accompany you to her place for inspiration to make a wedding dress you'll like. I want Rosa to make it according to your taste. But if you can't take leave... It means I should fly Rosa here, so she knows what kind of dresses you like and makes a dress for you. Otherwise, your dress won't be ready for our wedding at the end of the year..."
Finland thought she had gotten used to all of Caspar's surprises, but apparently the man still had some tricks up his sleeve. Rosa Wang had a very long waiting list for wedding dresses.
A specially designed dress usually took 3-6 months to make and the price was very expensive. Still, there were so many women who wanted their wedding dresses to be designed and made by Rosa Wang.
Rich girls would order Rosa's wedding gowns when they were teenagers so that when it was time for them to get married, the dress would be ready. Her ready-to-wear lines were often sold out as soon as they were displayed in her store.
It was safe to say that wearing Rosa Wang's mass-produced wedding dress was already considered prestigious for normal people, let alone the dresses she designed specially...
And Caspar wanted Rosa to make a special wedding dress in accordance with Finland's taste in less than a month?

"Hmm..." Surrounded by walls from both sides and the front Akatsuki stops walking. One door to the front and five more on each side. 11 doors total but none of the doors when opened gave a show of a shadow of the intruder. Was he wrong in where to search? No Akatsuki did indeed feel a disturbance around this part of the manor. His senses were far sharper than the average human and have almost never been wrong. In that case... 
"Does it require a unique situation?" Did he maybe have to open all the doors in a specific order? Maybe something was amiss in all this. 
"Hm?" A child was walking towards this way. She was familiar, the same nekomini maid with a white apron. But her movement appears so mechanical and her eyes were devoid of all emotions like she was sleepwalking. For the time being Akatsuki hid in one of the rooms and watched silently as the cat ear maid stops. She looks around as if scanning for any signs of someone else. If this was the intruder or mind controller's form of caution they have already failed... After making sure that no one (besides Akatsuki) was near the girl opened the far right door. 
"!" When the door opened the appearance of a room wasn't present. A portal was there instead! If Doraemon's fourth dimensional pocket could be manifested would it look like this? Never minding that Akatsuki followed after the cat ear maid into the portal before it was too late. 
"Hm?" The scenery shifts to a dark hallway. Immediately Akatsuki snatched the cat ear maid's shoulder. 
"Eh?" The sudden action seems to have given back her the control over her body. 
"Where...?" "Who knows?" The child maid turns around to the voice. 
"Eh ah Akatsuki-sama." "Mind telling me what happened? You were being mind controlled and lead here." "It starts with the rumor flying around the manor at night." According to the maid the rumor was that children would get up in the middle of the night and walk out of their rooms as if being called upon by something. Their eyes would generally be devoid of all emotions as they move forward like puppets under a string master. The next day they would come back looking drained as if they had their life forces sucked out of them. They called this phenomenon "Spirit Away" amongst the older children. "That description name doesn't make much sense." To be spirited away, or Kamikakushi, that expression is meant to remove an individual without one's notice. So it cannot be called a true Kamikakushi if the other children would notice the event. Moreover the victims of such spiritual phenomenons generally don't ever return as they either died or disappeared altogether. However, these children that were taken away returns even if they look dead tired. As for what would cause one to be spirited away legends say it's due to the individual's own misdeeds of having angered a god. To incur a god's wrath, these children that had no one to rely on but each other? It doesn't seem possible as Akatsuki believes none of these children living here in the Nameless Circle's manor to be bad kids who would commit crimes. For the most part they are all well behaved children with good discipline and responsible as they took care of the manor chores without complaint. 
"Hmm." Whatever it was that mind controls the children of the Nameless Circle to come up here lies up ahead at the end of this hallway. Was this a bonus stage before calling it a day? Interesting, is what Akatsuki thought as he put on a smile. 
"Umm..." "Stick behind me at all times. Uh..." He didn't really know her name. 
"Nora, my name." "Then Nora stick close and don't move away from me at all times." Nora kept a constant hand on Akatsuki's tank top bottom as they moved down the dark halls. The place isn't dusty so someone had to have lived here. Actually the hall gave off a rather regal feel to it. The pale moon shone its light into the open curtain windows as the curtains fluffed from the soft nightly breeze. 
"Uuu..." "There's no need to be scared." "Umu since Akatsuki-sama is strong." "Heh." Being overestimated couldn't possibly be a good thing but Akatsuki had to put up with it seeing as the fidgeting maid with cat ears is relying on his abilities to get them out of this safely. 
"Still hasn't Inaba ever looked into this?" "Inaba-onee is always a bit busy so we couldn't exactly ask her to look into it." That was understandable. Inaba before Akatsuki came to Eden was the sole player that supported this Circle as best as she can. Seeing how hard working their sole caretaker is the children couldn't possibly bring themselves into bothering her with trivial matters like this. 
"Do me a favor and from now on tell someone about these things. It's bad enough to leave it alone but it also makes the manor unsafe to live in." Nora nods in reply to Akatsuki's words. 
"Which ratio had higher victims? The boys or the girls? Also if possible explain what you mean by tired, did they just have bags under their eyes?" "I believe the numbers of female victims are higher. As for tired...they were a bit pale. Almost looked like they could faint at any moment. Someone said that one of the children felt especially cold to the touch after they came back." "...I see." As if it all met his expectations Akatsuki went silent. What did this has to have been "that." As expected of Eden even those things exist here. At this point he shouldn't be surprised anymore. 
With these thoughts in mind they have reached the end of the hallway. The door was slightly opened and from inside the room lights pour out. Not from lamps it seems to be more like lights from a candle stick as some unique scent was mixed into the air. Most likely a scented candle of the sort is used to produce this smell of roses and lavender. 
"..." As Akatsuki opened the door to the culprit's room Nora gulps. Scented candle sticks littered the room surrounding a single flat stone bed with gold trimmings. On the bed are pure white flowers along with pink roses. In the midst of the light colored flowers is a body of darkness. A black Victorian dress with pink lined frills. The girl who wore that dress looked like a doll with a pink flower ribbon attached to her head. Her black hair looked so smooth as if it is the very night skies. 
"Uwah beautiful..." Nora was taken aback by the sight of such a beautiful work of art that was called the body. 
"..." Akatsuki kept his mouth shut as he saw the girl in the Victorian dress open her mouth slightly. 
White canines. Long and sharp, designed to pierce into the skin of humans and animals alike. A vampire awakes as her eyes twitched slightly. She fully opens her reflective golden eyes while rubbing her sleepy face. It was an adorable act befitting that of the regal vampire girl. 
"A-Akatsuki-sama." "Heh." With a cruel smile on his face Akatsuki approaches the just awaken vampire. 
"Yo this game is my win." "Eh?" "What?" Still half asleep the vampire girl stares stunned at the devil before her. 
"This." From his pocket Akatsuki took out a golden parchment, a Contract. It was most likely given to him when he had entered the dark halls through the portal along with Nora. 
Game – The Vampire's Nightly Feed Host – Theia Alucard Vermilion Dracular Player(s) – Anyone from the Nameless Circle's manor Objective(s) – Find the host without being controlled Wager of the host – One request of the player(s) Wager of the player(s) – Blood The objective was very straight forward compared to the game hosted by Shirayukihime. In fact it was so overtly simplistic that it was just a joke. Most likely this host by the name of Theia Alucard Vermilion Dracular had no idea that there would be someone that could come into the portal with the mind controlled. She didn't check the puppet's surroundings enough... 
"Eh....................?" As if still stunned by her unexpected defeat the vampire could only look at Akatsuki blankly. It took a few minutes of awkward silence but she begins to sweat fiercely. What was going on? How was she defeated so easily? What will happen to me now? This man with the tinged red bangs before me looks like a beast that would not just stop at one request. I'm scared... 
"Ah..." This was the first time in her life that Theia had known absolute dread. She cursed at her own carelessness that had led to this. 
"Keeping up your end of the bargain is the trick to being a good host."

      The children looked around in confusion, 'what did this skinny man mean by we've arrived', they wondered. Of course they had a good reason to be confused because there wasn't any single building or sign of life in the area. The only sign of life was two huge men coming towards them. The children huddled together in the far corner of the van as if to get away from the men approaching. 
 
      "Are these the children?", one of the huge man asked while the other just stared at them with a disinterested gaze.
      "Yes sir, these are the children we told you about on the phone earlier", the skinny man replied excitedly knowing what would come next.
      " mmm, welldone Mr Jones, you always deliver on time, we'll make sure the boss is aware of that, now hand over the children, we'll take it from here." The huge man said.
      " ummm, Mr Charles I mean no disrespect but I was hoping to deliver the children in person so I can meet the boss for myself you see, I've always wanted to meet him", Mr Jones said nervously.
     "Mr Jones, don't push your luck, give us the children and we'll try to remember to tell the boss about your good deeds", the huge man named Charles said with an irritated look. 
    "Of course, of course, Sorry, here they are, you can take them", Mr Jones said hurriedly. The children just sat there and stared at the men talking about them as if they were goods you buy at a supermarket.
    "Come on children, let's go", Charles said he trying to get the children to come with him but they just clung to each other more. His companion Jack grew impatient and grabbed Steve towards himself and held him tightly as the boy struggled to free himself while crying for his siblings to help him. "Let him go, let him go!", the twins yelled while beating at Jack. 
     "If you want me give him back you'll both have to do everything I say, got it?", he said, clearly unaffected by their beatings. " Why should we believe you, your friends already lied to us and took us away from our mommy", Sylvester said, not stopping his assault on the man. "You'll believe me because you don't have a choice, now stop it and get in the car now", Jack said impatiently, and as if waiting for that moment the dust around them settles to reveal a truck like car with huge tires making the children gasp in surprise and a bit of awe and fear, "It's so huge", Sylvia said absentmindedly, Jack just smirked and walked towards the truck.
      " I almost forgot how great you are with children", Charles said in amusement. "Shut up and help them get in the the truck", Jack said and got into the drivers sit, throwing Steve to the backseat and looked out the window, "Hey Jones, you'll get your money later today", he shouted so he could be heard over the roaring engine. Jones nodded and waved before walking back to his van and drove away leaving a trail of dust behind him. 
     "Ready?", Jack asked, turning to look at the backseat to make sure everyone was strapped in. Charles nodded and took out his phone to keep himself busy as the truck raced farther into the sparse deserted land, away from everything Sylvia and her siblings considered safety and away from their mother. As if just realizing their predicament, she bust into tears with Steve not too far behind as her cried for his mother, Sylvester tried consoling them but ended up crying along with them. 
      "Shut the f*ck up little imps", Jack snapped at them making them cry all the more, "Charles do something", he called out to his companion who just ignores them and puts on a headphone and continues playing on his phone. Speeding up so as to reach their destination quicker before he kills someone, they stop at another deserted location with nothing in sight but sand, sparse vegetation and two ordinary looking men wearing matching uniforms. 
    Jumping out of the truck, Jack made his way to the two men and exchanged a few words, the men looking at the truck and Jack telling them what they needed to know and also showed them his permission slip. After a few minutes one of the men took out a device out of his uniform and pressed a few buttons as Jack made his way back to the truck. Then in what seemed like an empty sparse desert, a huge clear glass like dome appeared and the truck drove inside followed by the two men In uniform who stopped just inside the entrance and pressed a few more buttons making the dome invisible again. 
      As they entered the dome, the children scrambled close to the window in curiosity as they appeared to be in a town from the past as it had an aged look to it as if time stopped flowing in that part of the world. As they drove past the streets, the truck looked completely out of place and on reaching what looked like a market square, they saw people, both men and women dressed in sparse thin clothing with chains around their hands and ankles and their heads down in shame or tiredness, with two other men who were properly dressed calling over the passersby to look at the sparsely clothed people.

     "Mr, why are they wearing such clothes outside, mommy normally wears stuff like that to bed and why are those things on their hands and legs, they look heavy, did they do something wrong?", Sylvester asked in a voice filled with child like curiosity as he tugged on Charles sleeve.
     Partly surprised that the boy had the courage to touch him and ask him that question, Charles answered in an amused voice, "That's correct little boy,  they are thieves and are being punished for what they did, now keep your heads down and stop looking outside the window until we reach where we are going", he warned in a non threatening voice. 
     "But everything looks really strange and kinda cool, we want look", Sylvester whined, partially forgetting their situation. Running low on patience Jack snapped at them, " You better do as you're told else I'll make you join those people outside". The children's eyes widen in fear and looked down to avoid being scolded or joining the people who they thought were criminals buh were actually slaves on display for sale. "Really smooth Jack, really smooth", Charles said sarcastically, making Jack give him the middle finger.
     After driving for a few minutes, the truck stopped in front of a huge house the size of a mansion but looked like a warehouse. Getting down Charles kept the children between Jack and himself as they walked inside the building but not before showing their permission slip to the guards at the door who nodded and let them pass. On entering the twins gasped at how spacious the interior while Steve just suck on his thumb and clung to his sister as he also looked at the strange environment. It was a four story building with a lot of rooms in each floor like some kind of dormitory with two set of stairs leading to each floor and to their left was a spacious kitchen with people running around as if in a hurry to get whatever they were doing done quickly. Looking to their right was an equally if not more spacious dining hall with six long tables and rows of chairs, and the extreme end was a platform with three chairs and a beautifully decorated table In front with extricate carvings on it and the chairs. The ceiling was really high that the children had to really strain their necks to look at it and it also had large windows but they were a little about eight ft off the ground so you'd have to climb a ladder to get to it. 
      "Come on children!, we need to get going, you can go sightseeing later now hurry up", Jack said irritatedly. As they walked up a set of stairs, they arrived in front of a door down the hall and Charles stepped forward and knocked before opening the door making the children gasp in horror.
      For inside the spacious room with a lot of books, records and files and a large table at the center making it look like an office stood a man with a woman pressed against him with his mouth to her throat as a little trail of blood dripped down her body from her neck, as if just finished a meal the man threw the woman on the floor and dabbed at his mouth with a hanckerchief before turning to his visitors with cold look as his eyes landed on the men but turned into a smile with his fangs on display as he looked at the children. The children stood frozen to the floor as they stared into the red eyes of the monster that was smiling at them as if they'd be next, and as if waking up from a nightmare they screamed and tried to run out of the house but were pushed into the office and heard the click of the door being locked.
      "Well hello children, sorry you had to see that on your first day. Are these the children you told me about Charles?", he asked in a deep cold voice, causing the children to shiver.
       "Yes Mr Vladimir", Charles answered with his head down to avoid the man's eyes.

      "mmm, you even got twins, and they are exceptionally adorable, so let's get to know each other shall we, my name is Raphael, what's yours?", he asked looking at the children expectantly. The children just shivered more and clung to each other, on seeing that they wouldn't answer he got annoyed and asked again.
     "What are your names", his eyes flashing from red to their original black color.
     "M..m..my n..name is S..S.. Sylvester, sh..she i..is m..my s..s.sister S..S.. Sylvia a..and m..my youn... younger..ger b..b.brother S.. Steve", Sylvester stuttered fearfully, answering for his siblings so that they wouldn't have to talk to the scary man.
      Smiling at them, with his eyes back to their normal black color he said, "Well Sylvester, I'd like welcome you and your siblings to your new home". With that he looked at the men with his usual cold look and said, "Take them to the branding room, it's time we welcome them into the family and do it properly this time, I don't want a repeat of what happened last time, I'd hate to kill you both for a silly mistake, don't you agree?". A shudder passed through the two men being addressed as they were quick to reassure him of making no mistakes whatsoever. 
      "Good, now you may leave and tell someone to come clear this mess, I'm going out for a meeting", with that he walked out causing the two men to sigh in relief.
       "Come on, we need to hurry before he comes back", Jones said as he lead them towards a room at the other end of the hall.
