'Nobody. That's what I thought of myself until.......everything.....changed. when I saw the bright red and orange colors mix, the beauty that can't be forgotten, disappeared.
The Last Sunset.'

 The day was perfectly ordinary. 
 Mr  Van was boring the class, the heat was making wiggly lines in the air and everybody was fidgeting in their sticky chairs waiting for the lunch bell to ring. The door and windows were open in the hopes a breeze would wander in. 
 Lucy Fang stared at the big clock over the door.  Lucy sat in the third seat in the third row of Mr Van's dull, stifling hot classroom....not a coincidence because three was Lucy's lucky number. She had been born on the third day of the third month. She imagined she was  born at 3 o'clock,  but being the ninth child born to Mrs.Fang,  her mother had little interest in noting such trivial things.
 The big, black hand of the clock ticked slowly upward toward the twelve. Three minutes. Two minutes. One minute. A burst of laughter all around her broke Lucy's concentration.  A quick look and she saw the cause; a big, orange cat had sauntered into the classroom and had perched himself on Mr Van's desk.
 Lucy loved cats more than anything in the world.  She thought she had probably been a cat in a previous life. She smiled her sweet, shy smile at the cat. The cat looked right at Lucy and meowed "Hello".  Excited,  Lucy began to vibrate. Her little hands started to flutter and she bounced in her chair. 
The lunch bell blared, but Lucy didn't hear it. She was no longer in the room.  Both Lucy and the cat had disappeared. 

 Georgie Becket  hated cats. He hated being called Georgie.  He hated vegetables and he hated school. But most of all, Georgie hated orange cats.
 The stupid, orange cat must have snuck in the apartment when his older brother, Greg, left for work. Greg always forgot to shut and lock the door. Georgie and Greg's mother was a nurse who worked straight nights at a senior's nursing home and Greg worked at McDonald's til midnight. Georgie liked being home alone because he found just about everything and everybody annoyed him.
 The stupid cat lay stretched out on the back of the worn, blue and pink floral sofa staring at him like Georgie was the one who didn't belong. Georgie swatted at the cat. The cat hissed and swatted back. Georgie pushed himself off the sofa and trudged angrily into the small kitchen. The cat followed.
 "Get lost" Georgie insisted.
The cat ignored the command and lept easily onto the table landing six inches from Georgie's face. The cat's yellowy green eyes stared. 
 "Grrrr" Georgie growled at the cat.
 It sounded like the cat sighed and suddenly Georgie felt lightheaded.  
 'What the...?" and just like that Georgie Becket disappeared. 
 
 "Rufus, Rufus, Rufus." The exasperation in his mother's voice was tinged with exhaustion.  Rufus had once again replaced the sugar for her coffee with salt. That bit never gets old, he thought.  
 "I'm sorry, mom." His smile told a different story.  
 "Never mind." Louise Knapp poured the ruined coffee down the drain. "We have to leave for your appointment anyway.  Do you have your stuff? I'll drop you at school when we are done."
"Right here." Rufus patted his red backpack.  He didn't add that  it also contained a rubber snake, fake vomit and two plastic severed thumbs. 
 The orthodontist smiled down into Rufus'  wide open mouth and slowly pulled out a plastic thumb. "It seems you missed something while flossing." Doctor and patient laughed.  Mrs. Knapp rolled her eyes.
 It was after 10 when Mrs. Knapp stopped the car in front of the school.  "Don't forget your backpack. Love you."  Rufus dodged his mother's kiss, jumped out of the car, and headed across the empty school yard. Nearing the entrance of the school, Rufus jerked to a stop when an orange cat lept from the bushes onto the bottom step. 
 A slow smile spread across his face. "Hello, Kitty." His hand slid into his backpack and came out wiggling a fake snake. If cats could look droll, this one did. Rufus moved the snake closer. The cat seemed to lift one brow.
Suddenly the cat pounced, latching onto the snake and before Rufus could react the orange cat, the rubber snake and a befuddled Rufus were gone.

 School was Ethan's happy place. He loved the heavy doors swinging inward, sleek floors that squeaked, overly bright lights in the hallways and classrooms. Rules upon rules and  schedules. A new pencil or blank sheet of paper were nirvana. Third period was his favourite class.   Ethan, first in the room, was surprised to see an orange feline lounging in the biology lab. Ethan assumed it had come looking for the mice that the teacher sometimes kept in cages, on the back counter for experiments.  
 Uninterested in the stray, Ethan turned and dropped his text book on the lab table. He perched solidly on a stool.
 With floating grace the orange feline moved around the room until it landed squarely on the open book. It started to groom it's fur. A long raspy tongue ran the length of the feline back leg.
 Ethan's natural curiosity kicked in. He tilted his head and studied the beast. A solitary person, Ethan had few friends and no pets. He had never been this close to an animal.
Trying to reason the feline's strange behavior Ethan hesitantly poked his index finger into the soft, orange fur. It seemed the cat smiled just before the pair disappeared.

Rimsence's eyes widened as Zee dugg his fangs deep into his neck, injecting a violent poison into him. 

"What happened to you Zee..?" Those were Mr.Rimsence's last words.

"Zee is sleeping right now.. We won't stand for how you treated us any longer." said Zee in a cocky tone. He took the keys from Rimsence's pocket and unlocked the door. He chuckled, "We're almost free Zee, you will except me soon." He walked out of the room and began to bite everyone in his way. He finally made his escape. When he was outside the laboratory's property he suddenly fell to the ground. Moments later he woke up. He was confused, he had no idea how he got here, but for the first time in his life, Zee saw the outside world. The smell of fresh air flooded his nose. Suddenly, something brushed against his leg. He looked down and saw a dark red snake. 

"Hello." Zee said smiling.

The snake slithered up Zee's leg. "SSsss." The snake hissed. 

Zee continued walking, his bare feet brushing against the grass, his long silver hair gliding in the wind. " I'm free!" Zee cheered and laughed. He ran along a line of bushes, he couldn't stop smiling. 

The red snake clung to his right leg, "SSSssss!" The snake hissed. 

Zee looked down, "Oh sorry. I didn't know you were still here." He sat down and leaned against a bright green bush. Then two more snakes crept out from the leaves. One Yellow with a orange belly and another brown with spots along it's head.   

"Hi!" Zee said with grin plastered on his face. "Are you friends of his?" he asked.

The yellow snake climbed onto Zee's back and around his shoulders. He rested there, his head lying on Zee's head. The brown snake wrapped around his left arm. 

"Do you have names?" Zee asked.

"SSss" The yellow snake shook his head.

"Well, I'll give you names!" Zee said in excitement. "You will be Kaida!" He looked up at the yellow snake. "And you will be Agni!" he said looking at the red snake. "Then your name shall be be" he said turning to face the brown snake, "Zerf!" 

The snakes looked at each other then back at Zee. Kaida slid down his shoulders and into his lap, rising her head to meet with Zee's eyes. She placed her forehead against his.

"Thank you." Kaida said. 

"Your welcome." Zee closed his eyes, with his head against Kaida's, he fell asleep. 

Kaida stood there resting her face on Zee's for another minute or so until she climbed back onto his shoulders. The four of them were asleep, sitting against a bush, vulnerable...

Today me (Konfare) and my party are going to the blue glow dungeon, it's one of the three only glow dungeons in the  Kovlon forrest, and the plants that grow there are useful for all sorts of things but mainly mana potions, and us elf use a lot of magic.
the blue glow dungeon plants make food and potions to help with mana, the red glow dungeon plants make medicines  potions and lotions for injuries and sicknesses,  and the yellow glow dungeon gives plants that are very healthy for you and can boost ones strength, agility, speed or intelligence temporarily depending on which plants you use.
We silently marched into the dungeon, giving some time to let our eyes adjust to the strong blue hue, we'll be heading deep into the dungeon, we all ready ourselves just in case this dungeon may be relatively peaceful but it's not void of all danger, foxes, foxes are the apex predator here, there weren't always foxes here they actually came from the red glow dungeon which is the most dangerous of the three, but for some reason they migrated here, it used to be you just had to be careful around magical beasts but now yo need to have eyes in the back of your head, luckily foxes are from the red glow dungeon and their coats are bright orange, they stand out a lot in blue leafs.
We make it to a clearing with a large rock in the centre, almost there, we walk through the clearing making sure not to step in a rabbit hole, although horned rabbits are normal animals they are known to fight back and getting rammed by one is less than ideal and if you anger a magical beast rabbit your as good as dead.
We make it ti the other side of the clearing safely and keep walking until we arrived at our destination, a second medium sized clearing full of flowers in every different shade of blue and purple, but the ones we are looking for are azure tiger lilies also known as blue stargazer Lilys or mana lilies, we all fan out and start picking the mana lilies then putting them in the bags on our backs.
Almost all of the mana lilies have been picked now but the guard Thant was standing at the edge of the forrest had started running towards us panicked.
"FOX! IT'S A FOX!!"
'Damn this is the worst possible situation, maybe if the fox is far enough away we might be able to run away from it!'
"How far is it?!"
"Right on the edge of the forest!!"
'Right at the edge of the clearing? No way we can't get away if it's that close!'
The guard was right, as the fox walked just at the edge of the clearing the elf party could see small parts of its vibrant orange fur, this fox was good at hiding itself, its orange fur is usually a dead giveaway yet this fox was able to get within striking distance of the guard before he even realised it was there, every one panicked they all knew that at this distance they couldn't get away.
"Everyone on me!"
I yelled for everyone to group up, it's safer if we're all together, as the last of us grouped up the fox finally came out into the flowers, its smaller than I remember foxes being maybe its not fully grown? Regardless it's still dangerous.
This fox seemed different it hasn't charged at us yet and its not growling at all, I know it can see us because its looking right at us and walking in our direction, it's very close now every one is shaking in fear and it is defiantly within striking distance now, but instead of attacking us it smells us? And what is that a snake? Why is there a snake on its back and one of the most rare and poisonous ones at that a metallic python, it's called metallic because it is reflective, and why is it wearing glasses?
I've only more questions now, but the fox is no longer sniffing us It's attention is elsewhere now, the ground it's smelling the ground bellow the layer of flowers, then it did something no one was expecting it jumped and dove its face into the ground and ripped the largest magical beast horned rabbit I have ever seen right out of the ground and killed it.
Everything happened so fast that if you had blinked you would have missed it, we all ran as soon as the fox and snake were preoccupied with eating, I don't think me or anyone in my party will ever forget the snake with glasses and the fox with blue and green eyes.

Odette (looking at the sweets): These sweets are impressively made

Kimi: What a crazy Christmas

Kevin (while eating): I agree

Xylah (eating chicken): But, then again have any of our Christmas been normal, since we got our powers except Kim, well the powers part

Kim: True (looking angry at Xylah) and I'll have you know even without getting powers, my Christmas was nearly ruined by an evil Russian organization

Tina: Uh, Russia

Kanisha (while eating cheese): I agree, they are nothing, but trouble

Kai: Seems everybody is enjoying themselves

(Kal barks and eats cake from a bowl)

(Kai laughs)

Eve (holding a bottle): Anybody want some wine?

Kanisha: Yeah, hand me a bottle, no cup

(Eve throws a wine bottle that Kanisha catches with her tail)

Kanisha: Thanks, Eve (opens the bottle and starts drinking)

Betty: I think I would rather have a cup, since I don't drink much.

(Eve pours wine in cup and gives it to Betty)

Betty: Thank you (drinks from the cup)

Keira: I'll stick with orange juice.

Lucy: You do realize that you will stay as a one-year-old girl forever, since we have immortality.

Keira: I knew that, since my mind is fully developed even at this age, but I prefer orange juice

Cutie pie (drinking lemonade): That's understandable

Alula: Are drinking lemonade?

Cutie pie: Yeah, cancelling sweet with sour.

Kanisha (upside down): Good plan (drinks lemonade)

Princess K: (drinks tea) anybody actually remembered what day, they left.

(Everybody looked shocked)

Keira: Of course

Xylah: No wonder it was Christmas in that timeline, Christmas was coming up in our timelines.




(Kal barks and jumps around)

Princess K: Seems somebody have a sugar rush

(Lucy drinks some eggnog)

Lucy: Mmmm, cinnamon.

Kimi (behind Kanisha): How can you drink all that?

Kanisha: Because I haven't drink this, since when I time travelled to a bar that loves to burst into musicals.

Kimi (sits by Kanisha): How can you be so confident?

Kanisha: Easy, I have nothing to lose (looks at Lucy) where's the eggnog?

Lucy: Kitchen on the counter

Kanisha: Thank you (runs into the kitchen)

(Kanisha sits by Lucy with eggnog in her hands)

Kimi (hugs Kanisha): Thanks for believing in me

Kanisha (still being hugged): You are welcome, after all we are never been able to return home, and all you needed was a boost.

Kai: Isn't it wonderful to spend time together?

Kevin: It is

Tina: But what would make this Christmas better is singing carols

(Kal barks)

I whip around to see the small child behind me on the sidewalk. Her dirty orange dress barely visible under the large jacket. She gazes up at me with her big hazel eyes and walks forwards towards me. I back up quickly and scurry away from the little girl, my hand touches the doorknob and grips it. I can feel my knuckles flush white from the pressure and I frantically search the surroundings. 

     The sun peaks its crest over the far hills, streaking orange, purple and pink across the early morning sky. The girl yawns quietly, covering her mouth with her small hand. 

"Please, sir. Can I please come in?" She asks in a hopeful voice. I whirl around and yank the door open before bursting into the familiar room and slamming the door shut behind me. I exhale the breath I didn't know I was holding and remove my backpack. It lands on the floor with a loud thump, a small can of peas rolls out from the broken pocket. I grab the peas and the few other food items I could scavenge from the wasteland and sit them next to my very small stash of survival supplies. 

     I open the tattered notebook, scanning through the multiple pages. I pull the pen from the broken plastic cup it sits in and cross out the mistaken information. My dozens of theories on why their veins coil around the outside of their bodies like vines, what their language could mean and what happens to the people taken by them. I turn the yellowed pages to an empty space and fill in the information that the little girl gave me. 

      The thoughts of the girl stir up regret within my gut. I push the feeling and continue my day, preparing some food for breakfast and checking my map for a new area to search. The regret bubbles up into my chest, making my breathing heavy. I try to calm myself, reasoning to myself that if I took her in it would risk my life as well as hers. Memories flood my mind of the woman in the street. In an action of compassion and selflessness, she saved her daughter from a terrible fate and suffered because of it. 

     My eyes widen in realization. I look further at the memory and see the bright orange and striped stockings of the hungry girl. The little girl, that I shut out, had lost her mother just a few days ago. I watched her mother get crushed then taken by merciless beings. I mentally curse myself, my internal battle between charity and self-preservation raged on within my mind. 

     I open the door, peering outside. Nothing stirs, the chilly morning air covering the landscape in a blanket of serenity. I sigh with mixed emotions at the absence of the girl. I close the door and slink back into my small home. I finish eating breakfast and pack my bag with supplies for the day. I rub my eyes and squint toward the sky, watching carefully for the mini-ships. I run crouched to the ground, following the map that I prepared a few hours prior. My thighs begin to burn and my body begs for sleep, but I push forward. 

     Soon enough, a crumbling shopping district comes into sight. The neon sign directing passerbys into the mall has now toppled over and rests on top of a few cars. I scanned the parking lot for tentacles and orange fabric, resting next a dusty pickup truck. I pull out a water bottle from my pack and sip on the lukewarm liquid slowly, preserving it for later. As the sun rises higher, more sweat drips from my brow in the heat. 

     I gaze into the display windows, peering at the shop's contents. I let out an exasperated sigh at the brightly coloured exercise clothes and aluminum baseball bats. The clothes will only draw attention to me and the bat will do little to nothing against the futuristic technology of the invaders. A vending machine lay on the ground and I rushed over. To my disgust, animals had gotten to the junk food before I did. The bags of chips and sweets had been busted open and the half-eaten snacks covered the tile floor of the hallway. I grunt as I volt over the large machine and land on the other side. 

     I enter into the center of the mall, the high ceiling had collapsed into the building. I step over heaps of broken glass and piles of rubble as I traverse the shopping centre. I stumble past a small store, the walls lined with clothes. I gaze into the small space and freeze. A small orange dress hangs on one of the mannequins, the small mannequin stares into me with dead eyes. I shake the thoughts in my mind and focus on what I came here to do. I thoroughly check a few more stores, finding a few items that will help me survive. 


      I stand up from my position, swinging my backpack to my shoulder. My body stiffens as a low growl echos through the ruined building. I dive behind a fallen column and hold my breath. The jagged teeth appear from above me, the tall alien surveys the area, its yellow fly-like eyes sending a shiver down my spine. I grip the straps of my worn backpack to ground myself and calm my shaking hands. The teeth spread themselves and a long snake-like tongue slithers out of the dark cavern. And when I say 'snake-like' I don't mean like a snake's tongue, I mean like a snake. The tongue reveals it's own set of teeth, the translucent, sharpened bone ready to strike at unexpecting prey. 

     My lungs burn and my vision has gone blurry, I see the outline of the tongue creature searching above me. Black dots swirl around me and my world begins to dim. I  crawl slowly across the length of the pillar, barely staying concious. I manage to stay behind fallen debris and away from the alien's vision until I make it into a hallway adjacent to the room. I breathe deeply, wanting to get air into my lungs as quickly as possible. 

     A spine-chilling screech rings through my head as heavy footsteps rush toward my hiding place.

Most of Earths population has been eradicated. A new hostile race of Aliens have invaded Earth, their technology far surpassing those of humans. Guy has witnessed dozens of unfortunate victims die at the tendrils of the Alien race, all within a few days. He had been smart enough so far to notice their patterns, he knows how they work. He could take the whole ship down if only- what? Kid what are you doing? Go to sleep! Guy is busy planning and he can't do that when you're shoving your teddy bear in his face! Go! Don't bother him. Okay, where were we? Ah, yes. Guy could plunge the mother ship to the ground if- the annoying little girl would stay asleep! Why aren't you sleeping, what could you possibly want? 

"A good night's kiss?"


"F∆ck no. GO TO BED."

"Tch, why does sect leader always send me the most difficult things to fix?"
A slouching woman stepped inside, her large, jade green snake slithered along her arm, sticking out its tongue repeatedly. It glanced around familiarly with its cold, icy blue eyes. The slithering creature glittered with a burning fiery orange glow under the flickering lights.
Her cold, dark cave was illuminated by bright, highly decorative lanterns, masterfully crafted with magic so that their lights would never go out. It was very spacious, large enough to fit more than twenty people comfortably. It was very sparsely decorated and mostly served the purpose of being a quiet, secluded area, perfect for an anti-social craftsman.
The heavy wooden door slammed behind her, echoing loudly around the cavern. Dust was swept up by the wind, the specks glowing bright red. The outer side of the door was covered in grass, camouflaging the space from any malicious intruders.
Although the camouflage was technically for intruders, craftsman Bai actually put it there so that she could prank unsuspecting disciples that came walking by. After a while, they started to realize what was happening and picked different routes. She was a bit disappointed but kept the grass on the door just in case...
Small rocks clattered as she walked into her crafting room, on the far side of her cave, with her twilight blue boots, her untied hair fluttering messily behind her.
Craftsman Bai holed herself into her den containing only a shabby table and the broken sword.
She sighed and was curled into a ball on the floor, an old habit. Craftsman Bai did not care that the ground was dirty or that she would mess up her clothes. She only cared that rolling on the floor was a comfortable way to think through her frustrations. Her dark navy robes were scrubbing the grimy floor, muddy and wrinkled.
Her snake slithered about and softly poked her with its head, feeling that the floor was too cold. It didn't get an answer and could only curl up, disheartened.
After a few hours, craftsman Bai made a few attempts at fixing the jeweled sword, but she really did not know how to fix it without completely reforging the blade! She looked over it many times, but could never figure out what material it was made out of. However, she noticed one thing. That sword looked like the one that Sect leader Yun had used before he made the sect, a relic from the bloody war!
She set it aside for the time being, it's not like the sect leader had given her a time limit, right?
Her head ached. There was no way that she would try to fix it again soon...
Craftsman Bai took out some other materials from her spatial ring, an item that she had crafted many years ago, and started crafting using her wood fire abilities.

Deep in the forest of Yun sect, a small group of adventurous boys climbed the tallest tree, avoiding their studies. Sitting high in the canopy, ice-cold clouds brushed against their faces, leaving droplets of water, as they pointed to a jade-like snake scale.
It was a dull green, but it shimmered beautifully in the sunlight, giving off the same feeling as an expensive piece of jewelry. The edges were distinctly a bright golden color.
"..."
Zhixu pursed his lips at them, disappointingly. He found nothing strange about it. Of course there was a snake scale, they lived in trees. If not in a tree, where else would it be? In the ground?
After sitting in the frigid canopy for so long, he stood up, about to climb down from the tree. However, he didn't get far.
Just then, the wind whistled loudly and thousands of leaves flew into the sky! 
The boys sat frozen like statues. Their long hair was blown all over their faces and leaves tried to enter their mouths. 
"Hey, hey, what's with that wind!?"
"Dunno! Maybe some sort of demon came out of the ground?"
"Maybe it was some kind of dragon!"
"Haha! No way!"
"You guys...look over there."
As they were joking, Zhang Zhixu froze and his eyes opened in shock. He was looking around, unlike the other boys and he could see that hundreds of leaves burned in the air. The whirlwind of green instantly into turned black dust, falling onto the dewy grass.
The boys covered their noses after the scent of smoke entered their lungs.
A large portion of the forest turned as black as fresh ink. It was like a blanket, covering every inch of the green foliage with darkness.
"W...what happened...?"
"I don't think this is good..."
"...Was that some sort of demon?"
"Stop joking around!"
"I'm being serious!"
A group of five boys scurried down from the tree and ran back to the sect without wasting any more time, completely spooked.

What does it mean to be righteous? 

Shuang Xuanyi is a disciple, the smartest one of the most prominent sect, with a bright future. He was the bright star of his generation, a perfect role model, but, the day he got kidnapped, although he was set free unharmed, was the beginning of the end for the perfect image he had worked so hard to make for himself.

Zhang Zhixiu is a timid boy and although he does a few dumb things sometimes, only wishes well and for the people around him to be happy. He had many friends, as he was a truly kind youngster, but, it was inevitable that he would one day be on the other side of the battlefield...

The cause of their downfall? A mere spiritual root.

The sword spiritual root, if it can be called a spiritual root, was completely different from the other spiritual roots. It could not be combined with any other spiritual root and whoever had it could turn into a sword at will. They were stronger than any spiritual weapons and perfect partners to the normal cultivators.

Purple Berry Mountain

A figure that was taller than an average teen was currently punching a tree. The tree had countless fist marks on it and also lots of bloodstains, some dry, and some fresh. If one were to look at the teen, they would feel pity for him. This child's arms were badly scarred and his fists were badly mutilated, with barely no skin left to cover his bare flesh.

This teen went by the name of Wan Long. He was born in the branch family of the Wan family, the number one clan in their Land of Martialism. He was the son of a family who were given a small role in caring for the Purple Berry Mountain which was under the possession of the main family. This mountain was located in the south of the Wan family Province, near the location of the main family, which was at the middle.

Since birth, he was disregarded by many of his clansmen and treated as trash. This was because when he was at the age of 7, he underwent the talent examination that every youth took at the local temple. He was announced to have a low grade four talent, the Nine-coloured Snake. The talent grades were separated into many different sections. The ranks from one to three were low tier talent, which most people had, grades four to six were medium tier talents, and those with grades of seven to nine were considered high tier talent that many schools would want in their school. But there were those had an even higher talent. These people were those who had king-tier and emperor-tier talent. The ones who had these talents were regarded as geniuses at the peak and had the chance to be an overlord in the future. Such talents only came once a few centuries and in the Wan Province, there had only been one king-tier talent. 

It was the founder and ancestor of the Wan Family, Wan Jianlong, who had the king-tier martial talent, The King Sword Dragon.

Even though he was from the Wan family, the most prestigious clan in the Land of Martialism, his talent was inferior to others in the clan. The average talent for the Wan clan was low fifth grade talent. This was treated as their standard for those who would have a chance of being regarded as slightly talented in the main family, thus, with Wan Long's talent, he was treated as a trash.

Due to his inferior talent, Wan Long decided to forgo his cultivation and trained his physical body everyday without fail by punching a tree with his bare fists at least a hundred times each day and afterwards, he would run along the mountainside for a round or two. Following this routine everyday, his skin became rougher than the adult men who labored in the fields. But, this had a benefit, as he had skin tougher than average people and it made his physical strength abnormally high for a teenager of 15 years of age. 

Though his cultivation was on the low side, his physical strength was enough for him to escape from Rank 1 Demonic Monsters.

At this moment, Wan Long was done with his punches and proceeded to treat his wounds with some medicinal herbs that he picked from his daily runs to the mountainside. He did some basic stretches and began to run towards the side of the mountain, while keeping his guard up for any roaming Demonic Monsters. 

As he ran further into the mountainside, he noticed that the sky was quickly getting darker. This was weird to him as he clearly saw that the sky was clear with white clouds just a moment ago, so why would the sky turn this dark this quickly?

 As he was proceeding to a nearby naturally formed rock shelter, he saw a flash of orange light amidst the dark clouds. This orange flash of light quickly turned into a bright and overbearing sun that covered the sky.

A strange phenomenon was happening, and it was turning the sky bright orange.

Long Er'Du, the universe's strongest martial cultivator, someone looked upon as an existence akin to god, was punished by the heavens for being too talented and for threatening the position of the nine heavens.

His final legacy is left with an unlucky boy in birth who came from a branch family of the overlord clan in his continent, Wan Long.

"Gimme the medicine!" Chen slammed the door open with his legs as he shamelessly strode inside the castle-like nest where the sacred beast live.

The people outside the castle-like nest, were all dumbfounded seeing Chen who act like a bandit.

They were there as a guest but Chen acted as if he was a debt collector instead.

Jiu Wei and Di Yu who witnessed how their lord had such a thick skin to ask for a medicine as if asking for a mere water, were deeply embarrassed.

Lord Chen!! Even if your move earlier was kinda cool...it is so embarrassing!! 

Well even though the people outside were all felt embarrassed with Chen attitude, they still meekly followed behind Chen closely as they knew, hiding behind Chen was the safest place.

Chen was the strongest one among their group after all!

TAP. TAP. TAP.

The group entered the nest while observing their surrounding in awe. Well how could they not feel impressed with this nest.

All things inside the nest, were very colorful and bright unlike what they thought earlier. They thought since the mountain was kinda eerie, the nest would also be like haunted house.

But then...the inside of the nest was really colorful. They even felt as if they were inside the wonderland. Not only that the nest was really spacious just like the size! 

This nest really looked like a castle human used to build.

The castle-like nest had 2 floor and the first floor was filled with colorful things from plants to row of bottles or books. Of course...all of them...would be something related to poison.

Usually nest like this would have a lot of deadly trap but somehow...there wasn't any trap along the first floor.

Was the owner of this nest really confident in his own strength? After all if he didn't bother laying a trap...then...the owner of the house must be super confident with his power.

The group walked through the first floor with no danger whatsoever and this made them think they might enter a wrong house.

Could this is not the sacred beast house? 

Even until now they still hadn't see or hear the voice of the sacred beast. Usually any beast would be angered when a stranger intrude their house just like in Di Yu case.

Wait maybe the sacred beast wasn't here! They could get the rainbow powder easily! ...but then they couldn't ask the medicine for Li Shi Ying since only the sacred beast who knew which medicine would be good.

This...was troublesome! Of course it was only troublesome for Li Shi Ying group. For the Duan siblings who came here only for the rainbow miracle powder they felt that this was too easy for them.

10 minutes later...

The group arrived at the second floor. This time at the second floor there wasn't anything inside. The entire floor was empty aside from one thing they saw which made all of them except Chen, had goosebump.

There was only a super big purple snake was sleeping on the floor of the second floor.

Well if the snake was only a giant snake, Li Shi Ying group wouldn't had goosebump. This snake...wasn't any normal snake!! 

This snake which was suspected to be the sacred beast...had 8 heads!! 

You hear it right. This snake had 8 heads! All the heads had different eye colours just like rainbow.

The first head had red eyes, the second one had orange eyes, the third head had yellow eyes, the fourth head had green eyes, the fifth had blue eyes, the sixth one had cyan eyes, the seventh one had purple eyes while the last head, had white eyes.

The eyes of the 8 heads were all opened wide even though the snake was sleeping. I-it was creepy! It was as if the snake was staring at them with 8 pairs of eyes.

What is this creepy creature?! 

The Duan siblings were so sacred that they nearly peed but Di Yu and Jiu Wei were only slightly shocked. After all Di Yu true form had 3 heads and Jiu Wei true form had 9 tails.

It was normal for sacred beast to have weird body form so Di Yu and Jiu Wei were completely calm even though they were indeed startled by the size of this snake.

It was even bigger than Di Yu original form! If Di Yu original form might be as big as a truck or a bus then this snake size was as big as a plane, and as tall as 7 floors building.

Indeed so scary! 

This creature according to what Jiu Wei knew, was a legendary creature named Yamata no orochi or in english was called 8 headed snake. This snake was a legendary creature from Japan, just like Jiu Wei.

Now now enough about the snake. They had to get the rainbow miracle powder as well as the medicine for Li Shi Ying.

The question is...should they wake up the snake first to ask for the medicine or steal the rainbow miracle powder before waking him up? 

Both choice would be dangerous as they had to wake up this snake! Waking him up would mean...they had to face this snake wrath.

What should they do??
