This book was set in the late 1300, back then humans knew that dragons were real, they just rarely saw them and they didn't get attacked by them. there were 2 main groups of dragons. There were the red dragons and the black dragons, the black dragons were rarely seen but they were not friendly to humans or the red dragons. there were a lot more black dragons then there were red but when they fought they usually lost to the reds because although they were smaller they were faster and more nimble then the blacks. But not even the red dragons had seen them for a while and they thought there had been some sort of virus that had taken them out. The red dragons and black dragons were not friends at all but they still wanted to make sure that they were okay. The leader of one of the red dragon groups sends a few dragons to go check on them but they never comeback. The story is about a human on one side and a dragon on the other, they end up becoming friends. But it is not for a good reason why. The black dragons have been gaining strength and have just been giving birth too more and more dragons, as many as possible to surprise the humans and the red dragons. The red dragons and humans have to team up to save the entire earth from extinction by these dragons but it comes with a heavy price. There is a reason why it was named the Black Plague and not for the reason most of you would think.

Joseph, has finally reached the places that he had been told about... The Legion has now began to form together again, for the first time since the death of his uncle. At first things seem okay, but when they find out the plans of the black dragons, they know that they have got to get ready very soon. John was not lying, this was not going to be any sort of an easy task. Joseph is worn out, but he keeps on fighting with his legion, and training himself to be better, he knows it is what his mother, and his uncle would have wanted.

Meanwhile, Jangra is helping his father and his tribe learn how to fight black dragons. He did not know that there was in fact so much that he needed to learn. A lot of dragons are not happy, and many of them want out of the tribe, because it was not what they would have expected. Meanwhile, Yikla is meeting with him secretly still, and when his father finds out, to his surprise he is not angry once he finds out Yiklas reasoning. Instead he uses her to find out information on the black dragons...

There is a lot of pain, and a lot of angry people, but both Joseph and Jangra are doing their best as their job as leader, to get ready for what is about to occur... What will happen in the end of all of this? It seems like the start, was really truly only just the beginning for them.

Mages valued their lineages just as humans valued procreation. There were those who, despite being dirt poor, had been able to persevere and raised their offspring. They sacrificed nearly everything for them.
That was the instinct of living beings. The instinct of mages was to disseminate their skills and knowledge. Most mages liked having their names recorded in history, and then there was a handful who disliked leaving their names behind.
You would be hard-pressed to find any mages who liked the idea of having their skills lost in the coming generations.
Saleen was even more so. While his skills were less impressive compared to those of ancient times, there were parts of his skills that the ancient mages paled in comparison to. For one thing, ancient mages did not have to be as detailed and meticulous with their art.
Furthermore, Saleen had already begun to develop his lightning skills when he was below level-9. Although weak, those skills would have still proven useful as a way to get to know lightning. The ancient mages lacked this skill entirely.
Saleen crafted magic books and concentrated his mental powers, writing on the golden liquid of the granules. The more he wrote, the more developed his mental powers became, and he continued writing for days. But on this particular day, Saleen felt as if his mental powers were contracting violently and returning to his body.
He was afraid this might be the end of his magic book. Since changes with mental powers could be a matter of life and death, he felt he had no time to spare by looking at the magic book. Instead, he focused his mental powers and observed his insides.
Saleen felt the sensation of the mental powers returning to a single dot in his mind that then exploded and fused within an eerie place within his body.
That place seemed to be a parallel dimension. Every single movement he made affected the energy of that space. Things felt vague, and Saleen sensed it was that space affecting him in return.
His entire life seemed to be filled with changes; in actuality, he felt as if he was being manipulated by that space.
Even his thoughts seemed to have been little more than projections from that space.
Saleen was startled. He wondered if he was real and if the Myers Mainland was just an illusion.
He wondered if his mental powers were about to crumble as fear welled up inside him. His mental powers were on the verge of dispersing into the vast, endless void, never to have coalesced again.
Be strong, Saleen...
A voice was heard from the depths of his mind at that moment. The voice was a very, very familiar one, and suddenly Saleen felt reassured. That was...
Father's voice!
Saleen was already at an age where he began to remember things from when his father died. But he was unable to recall when his father had said something like that to him when he was still alive.
Those reassuring words made Saleen feel as if he was being thrown back from that parallel space of his own, merging back into his own body.

His mental powers burst again. Saleen opened his eyes and 360 million lightning characters flew out. Rafel was hurled back over 100 meters.
A human has three souls.
Saleen recalled such a description in the secret arts. He believed it at that time. A lot of what he had from his teacher seemed utterly ridiculous now, but Saleen truly believed that line at the time.
None of the three souls truly resided in one's body. Only by regaining all three of them would humans be able to surpass the gods.
Saleen was immediately aware of his soul's return. There seemed to be two other parallel spaces outside his body that were vague and unreachable. Those were not actually spaces but his souls outside.
Myers Mainland was real. What he experienced was similar to looking in a mirror and thinking his reflection was his true self while he, on the outside, was the projection instead.
There was little need to talk more about how perilous that would have been. If it hadn't been for his father's voice, Saleen's mental powers might have crumbled altogether by then. Even if he had survived, he would have sustained a severe injury that was unlikely to heal.
As a mage, the crumbling of Saleen's mental powers would have nearly marked the end for him. He would have retained magic chords of level-10 mages but would no longer be able to cast any magic spells. That's the best he could have hoped for in such a predicament.
A transparent golden magic book hovered quietly before Saleen's eyes. Lightning magic patterns shimmered indistinctly on the book cover. The magic book was still successfully crafted.
"Lord Saleen..." Rafel knew that Saleen had been in a perilous state earlier and wanted to say something when he simply waved dismissively saying, "We'll continue."
Rafel shut her mouth and backed away, leaving Saleen alone with his thoughts.
Saleen opened the magic book without realizing it; he had been poring over whatever he had learned and comprehended during more than 100 years of training. Perceptions of conventional mages wouldn't have been able to look into the contents of the book he wrote with magic patterns.
A reader had to be someone who had learned these lightning skills, someone whose mental powers were capable of manipulating lightning before being able to safely absorb the knowledge in that magic book.
That book seemed to be devoid of words altogether, yet Saleen knew he had actually written all of his 360 million lightning characters. As long as readers of future generations were beings whose mental powers were immune to lightning powers, they would be able to start learning.
There were 36 pages in the book and every single page consisted of transparent paper of a faint golden color that enabled the user to store one magic spell. There was no special requirement for the spell store.
Be it elemental, spiritual or even death magic, a spell could have been stored within the book as long as it was of a magical nature. Saleen felt that even divine spells could have been stored.
That magic book allowed the storage of magic spells up to level-16. If the book was required to go further than that, Saleen would have needed to advance above level-16 and re-craft the magic book.
It seemed that the magic book he crafted still paled in comparison to the Demonic Magic Book that ancient humans crafted. He had given that book to Eleanor. That book could store magic spells up to level-18 and there was no requirement for a particular type either.
I shall call it the Lightning Magic Book then.
Saleen was ecstatic: A level-10 mage who could craft something capable of storing level-16 magic? Something like that had only been possible in another crystal wall system. He wanted to check out the secret arts if only he could find the time.
His teacher's powers grew exponentially after learning Water Flame Alchemy and Blazing Flame Soul-refining Technique after all.
Those were secret arts from another crystal wall system that gelled well with magic, which seemed able to accelerate the rate of magic learning while boosting the powers of magic learned.
But, of course, there was a requirement of having alchemical materials of sufficient quality on hand. If it had not been for the materials yielded from the Evil Oracle's body, it would have been impossible for Saleen to craft such powerful equipment. That's exactly how it was with his old Divine Tree Magic Tower.
Had it not been for the dead trunks of the divine trees, it would have been impossible for Saleen to craft something like that in the first place.
Saleen planned to replicate the Starline Bangle next. He had no plans for replicating the Starline Ring at the moment because there was more than enough space to be had in the Ring of Cosmos.
He would have only needed to open any one space of the 64 spaces within that ring, and Saleen would have no longer had any need for other space equipment.
The Starline Bangle, on the other hand, provided slots for equipment. A slot equipped by a mage allowed the unleashing of the original powers, skipping the processes of taking equipment out and equipping them. This was extremely crucial in battle, especially after Saleen advanced to level-10.
His enemies would have basically been people capable of instant-cast abilities, and tempo in battle would have been counted in frames. The time it would have taken to switch gears would have allowed his enemies to kill him several times over.
Thunder dragons, come forth!
Saleen summoned all 24 thunder dragons from his magic amplifier. They had completely awakened and flew outside right away, heeding Saleen's call. He pointed at the liquid golden granules floating around, and all 24 thunder dragons pounced on them immediately and consumed them in a frenzy.
Scales began to develop on the smooth hide of the thunder dragons. The scales were transparent, faint golden colors and there were natural lightning magic patterns on them. Saleen's Water Flame continued to refine the golden granules and let the 24 thunder dragons consume them.
The dragons rolled around in Water Flame and their bodies were tempered growing wings.
The thunder dragons originally resembled snakes, but they then grew wide, golden, physical wings behind their backs and four sets of sharp claws under their torsos. The longhorns on their heads shimmered with lightning.
All 24 thunder dragons' bodies had long been tempered by the Six Element's Heavy Water to critical points. They seemed to advance at the same time after consuming the golden liquid; they all reached the pinnacle of level-12.
All exuded a powerful aura. Rafel saw this and came to realize why Saleen dared to challenge the Heretic God. If the Heretic God was unable to send over beings beyond level-13, they might have ended up digging their own graves.
The thunder dragons intended to grow their powers further but were forcefully stopped by Saleen. The rules of Myers Mainland forbade living beings of level-13 from being present. If the thunder dragons were to advance to level-13, they would have been punished in accordance with the rules.
Dante was one such example. The God of Magic Net at the Floating City was far smarter in comparison, sealing its power as soon as its divine fire was ignited.
Saleen's Water Flame continued wrapping around the 24 thunder dragons and gradually shrank. The thunder dragons had long been made into weapon spirits, which allowed them to adjust their sizes at will. While they were being refined further by Saleen's Water Flame, they coiled around each other and formed a faint golden bangle on Saleen's hand.
Saleen ripped the weapon spirits from the magic amplifier and made the Thunder Dragon Bangle. He had his own reasons for doing so. The magic amplifier had been created from materials left behind by the Goddess of Myers, so Saleen was still wary of it.
The 24 thunder dragons, on the other hand, were beings that he personally raised. He had developed an attachment for them after having them around for so many years.
He feared the day that the goddess would have been resurrected and taken his magic amplifier away right there and then, resulting in the loss of his beloved dragons.
The magic amplifier was no longer capable of conjuring ball lightning following the loss of the thunder dragons as its weapon spirit. The Thunder Dragon Bangle took the magic amplifier's place in performing that function. Saleen was then capable of conjuring ball lightning any time without having to use the magic amplifier.
What's more, there were 24 equipment slots on the Thunder Dragon Bangle crafted from 24 thunder dragons.
According to the usual calculations, those 24 thunder dragons would have allowed Saleen to craft 24 equipment out of them. Every single equipment crafted would have had at least three equipment slots.
The reason Saleen had crafted something like that instead was specifically to allow him to cast lightning attacks at any time.
Twenty-four equipment slots were more than enough for him.
Saleen sensed that the souls of the 24 thunder dragons were rather worn on the Thunder Dragon Bangle he was wearing. Fortunately, even if the thunder dragons were to go into hibernation, he would still have been able to use the power of the bangle right away.
Not bad indeed. While the number of ball lightnings conjured was still eight despite all of the dragons having advanced to level-12, the ball lightnings' powers were considerably amplified and their speed grew 100 times over. They were no longer balls that waggle about when unleashed.


It is said that the true meaning of a mage is to fully understand the truth of the world. A mage named Saleen Metatrin goes on many missions as a normal mage to try and change his fate. This in turn led to many problems and adventures.  

Flickers of torchlight created long fleeting glances of light, that twisted and turned in an uneven fashion on the wooden walls. A boy sat in the corner of the room, at a short narrow table, that creaked with every movement of his arms. The ceiling arched in a dome like fashion, giving a feeling of wonder to whoever stood in its embrace. Large wooden beams ran from the walls to the ceiling, bracing the seemingly drooped roof.
The boy looked to be around 16 years of age, giving him a young and lively face. Handsome features adorned his oval shaped face, with high cheekbones lying in their place upon his face. Dark brown eyes lie perfectly in their sockets, with a nest of blonde hair that was poking up randomly around the top of his head.
Only now, his brows were furrowed in a deep concentrated look. He turned the page of the book he was studying, and turned his concentration towards the next page, If one were to see the book the boy was flipping through they would see a picture of a giant creature drawn carefully onto the thin pages. 
It was a large, spiky creature with a pair of massive horns protruding from both sides of its head. Multiple wings that were just as big as the beast itself, adorned each side of its massive body. The front of its body was covered in burr-like spikes, along with two lines of spikes along its eyelids, giving the impression of eyebrows. Protrusions from the back of its head formed a mane-like frill.
Above the picture of the beast, two words lay in bold blackness atop the page.
Thorn-Armored Dragon
The boy glanced over the picture before sighing deeply. He slammed the book shut and stood up from his seat. The chair wobbled precariously before the legs gave out beneath the chair, tipping it to the floor with a crash. Ignoring the fallen chair, the boy placed the book on a stack of books that lay on the table.
He walked over to a wooden bed and sat down, leaning against the backboard. The boys gaze faltered as he seemed to be gazing at something in front of his face, that wasn't visible to anyone else besides the boy.
Logan looked at the notification panel in front of his eyes, and sighed deeply once again.

He mentally closed the panel that extended vertically in front of his face. The boy's name is Logan Sherwood. He had obtained this weird object a few days ago, when he went hunting in the Lost-Woods forest to the west of his settlement. He lived on an island, that was close to the size of a modern-day capital city. Not the largest piece of land, but it was plenty for his people. His tribe was called the True Dragon Tribe. His tribe used to be one of the most feared tribes of all the top ten tribes. But 6 of the tribes joined together and killed most of his tribe. Before the tribes could kill their whole tribe off, the tribe leader, Logan's father, commanded everyone to flee to somewhere where the other tribes couldn't get to them. Although the other tribes could have helped his tribe, they didn't want to get involved with the rogue tribes at all, in case they also got wiped out.
The True-Dragon Tribe had lived on this island for the last 20 years. They had completely forgotten about the outside affairs, and just lived in peace.
But Logan knew the peace they currently had, would not last long. He didn't know why, but he had a strong feeling about it. The couple of days ago, when he had acquired the [Dragon Trainer System], he had been exceedingly confused about it. He had never even heard of dragons, let alone see one. But the system told him numerous times that dragons lived in the world. He didn't believe the system at first, thinking it was just a mentally insane person inside his head, but he soon started to believe what it was telling him. He asked his father about dragons, but his father got angry and told him to never talk about dragons again. Because of his fathers reaction, his small belief only turned into a stronger belief. 
One night Logan snuck into his father's hut and looked through all his research books, trying to find something about dragons, but he didn't find anything in his fathers books. Instead he started borrowing any book he could that talked about myths and stories of uncommon events and encounters. He finally found a book that talked about dragons, and many other mystical creatures that were (just) legends. He had studied every detail of this book trying to find details of where dragons lived.
The reason he was so desperate to find a dragon was because of the task rewards. He didn't know what the skill would do, but he was curious if the system was real or not. But after days of looking through the book called (Myths and Legends), he finally learned a small bit about dragons. He now knew that dragons existed somewhere, at some time. It was obvious by the drawings from the book. It would be close to impossible for anyone to make up these pictures. He could only guess that the pictures were drawn from people that saw dragons with their own eyes.
He had come to a conclusion of where he was going to go first to find a dragon. And he would leave the next morning.

In a hut that was twice the size of Logans, a massive bulky man sat on a tall throne that was made of black stones, and glared down towards a man that was kneeling on the ground in front of him. 
"Didn't I tell you not to disturb me today." the mans deep rough voice broke the silence.
"Yes, chief, but I have something to report," the kneeling man man said though gritted teeth.
"Go ahead," the chief answered gruffly.
"It is about your son, Logan," the man replied trying not squirm under the intense gaze the chief was throwing at him.
"What about my son," the chief barked back, gazing at the man menacingly.
"Ah, sir, he is looking for books about dragons, sir," the man said respectfully, as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva.
"Dragons. No, he is still to young to learn about dragons," the chief said, his expression changing.
A slight look of sadness crossed his face, and he looked as if he was remembering a painful memory.
"His mother got killed by a dragon, so its better he doesn't learn about them for the time being," the chief said with a pained expression on his face.
"Tell Logan to come and talk to me."
"Yes sir!"

In a large world with many unknows, follow a young boys legend of a lifetime, becoming the first dragon trainer in history.

  After I picked up the history book and dusted it off I didn't realize it but it also said "Cursed Bloodline" in the title so it would be "The Cursed Bloodline of the Heavenly Ice Wolves".

  "Is my bloodline cursed?" I thought. I opened the book because my interest had reached it's peak and I opened it.

  Long ago before the fire dragons were kicked out of the Immortal World there were 2 races that had absolute control over ice. The Spiritual Ice Dragons and the Heavenly Ice Wolves had 2 different types of ice that made sure no one would go to war with them, they were respectively ice that could ignore all forms of defense if trained hard enough controlled by the wolves and ice that directly attacked the soul controlled by the spiritual ice dragons. Due to them being the banes of the fire dragons they were extremely wary when they descended into the Mortal Realm.

  The fire dragons in the Immortal World apparently eradicated the Heavenly Ice Wolves in the higher realms and then attacked the Spiritual Ice Dragons and killed off most of them before the entire Dragon Race threw them out except for their Godly Fusion experts and eggs because they attacked an ally and they locked up with the help of the Ice God who froze them with pieces of eternal ice to be unsealed at a later date.

  Despite this the heavenly wolf princess, Lui Mei was being pursued by the spiritual dragon prince Bai Gu. He got angry that she wouldn't accept his advances and attacked her secretly. This ended up becoming a life and death battle with the princess ending Bai Gu's life with some ice spikes.

 I was surprised and thought "didn't that describe the bloodline memory I received a couple months after I was born?" My thought was proven when I saw the illustration of the next page that show a wolf with a small portion of its back covered in ice and a dragon impaled in the mouth, foot, and chest. I got even more interested and continued reading.

  This caused the Spiritual Ice Dragons to become enraged and the Dragon Emperor of their race declared war on them and the Wolf Emperor did the same. After a century of going to war both of their races were dwindling in numbers. Each clan in the heavenly wolf tribe had less then a thousand members and the Wolf Emperor's wife had died along with all his sons and daughters while he had his soul severely injured.

  The Spiritual Dragon Emperor had died along with all his daughters (Bai Gu was his only son) and had left behind 2 eggs who had yet to hatch. Their royal bloodline only had the 3 previous emperors left to help them and they were sleeping throughout the whole war.

 The fire dragons acting as the oriole ambushed the Spiritual Dragon Race thinking they could kill the old dragon emperors in their sleep. They killed most of the Spiritual Dragon Race before the older emperors awoke. They had a massive battle with the fire dragon race along and they allied with the heavenly ice wolves who they recently ended their war with.

  One of the old dragon emperors managed to use his abilities by burning half his life force to put a seal on their 3 strongest bloodline abilities and their All Encompassing Soul Flame. This severely damaged the  fire dragons attack power and caused a turning point in the war and the fire dragons were on the losing side.

  Unknown to everyone the Wolf Emperor had thoughts of revenge on his mind betrayed the spiritual ice dragons and killed the Fire Dragon Emperor and one of the old dragon emperors. This causes the fire dragons to retreat and the one of the old dragon emperors to burn his life force to put many seals on the heavenly ice wolf bloodline which were their beast forms and half their top abilities including the piercing ice which could ignore all forms of defense severely weakening the heavenly ice wolves. From then on even though they were feared they were shunned by both the Spiritual Beast Race and the Human Race didn't accept them as one of them. There was a illustration on the next page and it showed a massive wolf in the middle of battlefield of dragons and wolves standing on a lotus of ice as shards flew outwards.

  Once the old dragon emperor completed the seals he died and the remaining old dragon emperor retreated collecting the 2 eggs the Spiritual Ice Dragon Emperor left behind and placed seals on them to slow their growth and hide their aura. From then on the Spiritual Ice Dragons disappeared from the universe.

  The Heavenly Crown Empire took advantage of this to suppress both the fire dragons in the Southern Region (not yet the Dragon Realm) and the Heavenly Ice Wolves in the northern region. The Heavenly Wolf Tribe secretly built up its strength to rebel from the Heavenly Crown Empire and achieved independence. 

  The Zhang Clan after a century decided the fire dragons were still weak since they haven't rebels yet. Even thought the other clans warned us not to underestimate them we stubbornly attacked the fire dragons believing due to their pride they would refuse to be under someone else.

  We were wrong. The fire dragons sacrificed their pride to boot lick the Heavenly Emperor and his grandfather who was a Godly Fusion expert. They were hoping to be let back in the Immortal World through him and received many resources aiding in their recovery although not being able to undo the seals of the old dragon emperors.

  We had no choice but to hide in the Sealed World as it was the last stronghold the humans had in the Southern Region which was soon to be the Dragon Realm. Ever since then we've been stuck inside the Sealed World and when we learned the Southern Region became the Dragon Realm we despaired.

  Eventually a live demonstration wasn't enough to cultivate the upper level of the heavenly ice manual and we were unable to enter Void Breaking Stage and we chose to remain inside the Sealed World and hoped the rest of the clans in the tribe would come retrieve us in the future.

  I was surprised by what the book was saying. Did this mean I was a wolf? Was I not human? I decided not to go to the Zhang Elder and ask him about it.

  I knocked the door and he opened it. "What do you need child?" he said . "Elder I saw in the history book in the library title "Cursed Bloodline of the Heavenly Ice Wolves" and it said we're only humans because of the seal the Spiritual Ice Dragons out on us, is that true?"

  The elder sighed and said "Although I doubt a clan leader would lie when writing about our history I've been human my whole life and I have trouble believing I'm not truly human. There's nothing other then that specific book that says we're not human. The entire Zhang Clan believes they're human as well so unless the tribe comes to get us out of the Sealed World and tells us that we won't ever know for sure."

  "Ok elder thank you for your honesty" I said as I bowed and left his house. Unknown to me the elder left after me and told the library's receptionist to remove that book from the book register and give it to me.

  
  It was night by the time I reached home and I told my mom and dad goodnight. I went to sleep and had another bloodline memory that night. I saw a massive battle going on between red dragons and white dragons along with white wolves also attacking the red dragons. After a long time of watching this the biggest wolf there jumped into the middle of the battlefield and created ice lotus. It stating shooting out ice shards in rapid succession killing both the white and red dragons. 

  I already speculated that this was the battle told inside the history book but this proved it. It was exactly the thing that was drawn inside the history book! 

  Then both the old dragons and one young smaller dragon with a couple bigger dragons following it attacked the Wolf Emperor and when they neared both the ice lotus and the giant wolf exploded. The old dragon in the front along with the big red dragons and the smaller red dragon died.

  I heard howls and roars but somehow I was able to understand them. "THE EMPEROR IS DEAD!!!" They all said. The dream ended right there and I heard a system message.

I took a deep breath. I was so excited! My hard work finally paid off and I'm finally at the spirit absorption stage! These rewards were amazing too! I ignore the seal part because it didn't explicitly say that it was a seal on my beast form though.

She didn't know why that particular book made her stop and take a moment to look at it. 

Other than the fact that it was a very old history book, nothing about it was really all that eye catching. 

It was a heavy looking brown book that seemed to be ignored more often enough that it was gathering a significant amount of dust. 

Well, this book is considered a textbook for school anyways. In a schools history lesson, dragons of course, were an integral part of the lesson. 

And books like this were the kind of books that she sees students groan about, as they scan for the textbooks written on a long scroll which teachers tasked them to acquire, and told them the books they needed to get were as important as their quill. 

Maybe that's why a lot of people ignore this book. It reminds them a lot of those textbooks with a similar topic. 

Even though there was nothing special about this book and there was literally one beside it that was also a dragon history book, something in her gut jolted as she read the title of the book. 

She carefully took the book out of the shelf and sneezed as it released the dust it was hoarding on its shelf.

She looked at Ilara who was dusting a few bookshelves nearby. 

She was humming to herself as she dusted but as Naera sneezed once more, Ilara looked at her then giggled lightly. 

She then took notice of the book that Naera was holding in her hand.

"A history book? Hmm. That book has rarely been read nowadays, since almost everyone in the kingdom knows everything there is to know about dragons since they were taught to read. But, you can borrow it if you want, maybe you can learn something more about them."

"Oh! Thank you truly, Ilara. I will take care of it dearly." she said as she smiled at Ilara.

"Oh, think nothing of it. Maybe you can teach the little ones that you care for how to read also." 

She smiled at her and took the book to a nearby table and opened it.

"Hmmm. Let's see. The History of Dragons. Dragons have been a part of our history since probably the dawn of time. They've been terrorizing mankind for centuries. And so, a band of 5 powerful wizards, Serferno, Garuh, Marok, Omire and Ruluio, sought a place where one can feel safe in a land where the chaos brought by Dragons reigned."

"Aligning their powers to create a feat never before seen nor attempted, they created magical force fields around the kingdom and was named after the walls that stand presently in our kingdom. Any dragon that would dare enter the force fields will receive an electric shock so powerful that they will writhe on the ground in pain and die almost instantly. "

"Dragons have been a part of our world and history for many centuries and many mages believe that they existed far longer than has been known or written. Despite this, little is known about them. The only thing known about them is how they could be defeated. Their way of life is still a complete mystery as people were far more interested in killing the enemy than knowing the enemy."

"Though, the way to defeat them has been written countless times and in many different ways. Though the most common is to use magic, as their scales are tougher than any metal and nothing is strong enough to pierce it but magic. Either pure, raw magic or magic imbued weapons can work."

As she was reading the book and was completely enamored by it, when the store bell chimed signalling that a customer has entered.

Naera was a poor girl who lived in a world that was cruel to people who had nothing when one day, a dragon comes by. He demanded that every unmarried woman at the age of 17 would line up in the plaza in front of the castle. 

Unknowingly, the dragon was the Prince of all Dragons and for some reason, he chose Naera to be his wife. He whisks her off to the land of dragons against her will. Will Naera ever love the beast that took her from her home?

City Of Irik

"I am in Irik. That's good. A town a I know." The reason that Excel knew Irik was because of research. Before, entering Dunvir he checked the internet for the best beginner town. Excel checked around the city to find a lot of player looking for raid members. He needed experience but what could he do. A level -2 player fighting a level 200 monster.

For a blacksmith a smithy is important, for a warrior training was important and for a mage a library was important. Excel wanted to learn about Dragon Slayer Magic. There were instances where players earned new skills while just understanding the concept in the book. 

Irik Library

As expected the library was filled with mages. Excel looked around for an hour but he found nothing. So, he went to the receptionist. But, the receptionist scoffed at Excel cause according to him Dragon Slayer Magic doesn't exists. 

Excel sad, sat on a chair. An old man approached him.

Old Man : Hey, you boy.

Excel : Who Me?

Old man : Yes, why were you looking for Dragon Slayer Magic.

Excel : Oh. Will you help me?

Old man : Yes. But I need some kind of proof.

Excel looked into the eyes of the old man.

[You have seen a dragon, all stats have decreased by 1%]

Hoh! The old man was impressed. Like players even NPC's have notification window. NPCs in Dunvir are like real human beings. They cry , they laugh and they reproduce.

The old man asked Excel to wait for a while. After a few moments the old man came back. He bought a book The book had a red cover with a Golden Dragon engraved on top.

Excel : What is this?

Old man : The thing you are looking for.

Excel : But, why are you giving this to me ?

Old man : When I was young. A man gave this book this to me. Saving our village from monsters. He told me that I have to give this book to a boy wanting to learn about Dragon Slayer Magic.

The old man left Excel. He read through the book. It said that 500 years ago dragons and humans lived in harmony. They worked together in harmony.  But, some of the dragons started attacking the humans. The humans and the other dragons came together to fight the other Dragons.

Soon, the whole world turned into a battlefield. Dragons fighting dragons. But the bad dragons were stronger than the good dragons. The humans invented a new type of magic, Dragon Slayer Magic. 

The humans later won the war but at a huge cost. The humans who learned Dragon Slayer Magic started turning into dragons but soon for some reason they died. The last remaining elder dragon gave a prophesy that one day someone will come and again establish unity between humans and dragons. But until then they had to wait.

What is Power? Power can have different meanings. But one thing is for sure without power you are nothing. The weak can't protect the ones dear to them while the strong control the world of those weeks.

Excel starts playing Dunvir. Even though he gets one of the best classes. He still goes for power. It doesn't matter how he gets power as long he gets power.
