And with the appearance of monsters also the appearance of people with strange powers and abilities.

The next official trade was completed smoothly within a minute. Lin Huang was finally relieved to see two extra god rule relics in his storage space.
He scanned through his storage equipment with his Divine Telekinesis and checked properly, confirming that both god rule relics were fine. Lin Huang then clicked Money Boss's account and transferred the 3.2 million Divine Stones in commission over.
"I've transferred the Divine Stones to you. Please check."
"Got it. It's a pleasure working with you! Please get me to bargain for you again if you're getting more god rule relics or business that's more than 10 million Divine Stones in the future," Money Boss replied almost instantly.
Lin Huang could not help but smirk when he saw the message. "I'll definitely look for you next time." 
"Is it done?" Bloody had been sparing a portion of her attention to Lin Huang's progress.
"I've gotten both of the god rule relics. I've checked them and all are good." Lin Huang nodded.
"I'm basically done on my side too, but it's a little inconvenient to finish the master plan now." Bloody was also cautious. After all, they were in someone else's territory now. "Let me give you a rough idea. We'll discuss the details after I'm done with the master plan and I'll send it to you tomorrow.
"First of all, you'll have to summon Kylie after leaving this Shelter. The three of us will head to the Start Shelter to pick up our identity rings. Later on, Kylie and I will head to the core zone of the God Territory. You'll disguise yourself and head to the next grade-3 Shelter.
"I've given a good thought about your identity. It's best that you aren't a lone ranger. The great world is different from the gravel world, and you'll encounter plenty of trouble since you have no organization background. Although Royal is a huge organization, its headquarters is in a human territory that's too far away from the God Territory. Distant water cannot quench the present thirst, thus it's best that you join an organization in the God Territory.

The Combat God Temple is the biggest mercenary troop in the God Territory, whereby they take on all sorts of group hunting missions all year long. If you join them, not only can you hunt all sorts of monsters, but you'll be given mission rewards from the Combat God Temple too.
"However, the biggest disadvantage of joining the Combat God Temple would be the lack of freedom. The reason being, all members will be put into a small troop and they'll have to move as one unit. Although the troop can choose their own missions most of the time, sometimes there are some compulsory requisitions that you can't say no to."
Lin Huang frowned a little upon hearing this point. "Tell me about the Death Sickle then."
"The Death Sickle is the biggest assassin organization and its main business is all sorts of assassination missions.
"The Death Sickle is very lax on their member recruitment. Almost all tribes can register as their reserve members regardless of their ability. The reserve members have all the freedom they want, and they can even reject all the missions. Of course, that would mean not having benefits at all.
"As long as the reserve members complete three assassination missions within a year or accept three specific missions within ten years, they'll become an official Black Sickle Assassin."
"So, there are ranks among Death Sickle members?" Lin Huang could not help but interrupt to ask.
"Yes, the ascending order of ranking in the Death Sickle would be the reserve, Black Sickle, White Sickle, Golden Sickle, and Blood Sickle. There are only seven Blood Sickle Assassins, all of whom are on heavenly god-level. The seven of them control all of Death Sickle's decision-making."
"So, what're the benefits of the higher ranks?" Lin Huang asked again.
"The higher the ranking, the higher the grade of mission one gets and the better the reward. Reserve, Black Sickle, White Sickle, Golden Sickle, and Blood Sickle correspond with the grade of the mission. Reserve members can only take missions below virtual god-level, Black Sickles can only take missions below true god-level, White Sickles can only take missions below heavenly god-level missions, and so on and so forth…
"Not only are there mission rewards for completed missions, but there're also accumulated points. One will earn a place on the Death Leaderboard when they have sufficient points. There are three leaderboards for the Death Sickle, which are the Black Sickle Leaderboard, the White Sickle Leaderboard, and the Golden Sickle Leaderboard. There are only 100 names on each leaderboard which will be renewed every day at 00:00. Throughout the month, those who manage to rank the top ten will receive a handsome reward.
"Those who are usually on the Black Sickle Leaderboard are top virtual god-level powerhouses. Those who rank the top three will receive a reward that is at least comparable to a god rule relic each month. The rewards for the White Sickle Leaderboard and the Golden Sickle Leaderboard are even better."
"One per month would mean that one will get 12 god rule relics in a year. I've only gotten two god rule relics after my hard work in the gravel world and spending most of what I had. Meanwhile, the few of them on the leaderboard can earn that within two months! So, what's the disadvantage of joining the Death Sickle?" Lin Huang turned his head to ask Bloody immediately.
"You must complete at least three missions each year if you become a Black Sickle. You can pick the missions within your own level. If you fail to complete a few of them in a year, you'll be given a few specific missions in the next year. The specific missions are usually those that basically nobody is willing to do because they're very risky."
"Secondly, the number of hunts will definitely be lesser than those in the Combat God Temple if you join the Death Sickle. After all, the killing in the Combat God Temple is done in battles with many enemies. It's more suitable for you to elevate your combat strength."
"I'll join the Death Sickle. I can go to battles on my own when there's no mission. I just won't get the reward that the Combat God Temple will be giving," Lin Huang shared his thoughts, "To me, the Combat God Temple's restriction is too much. Besides that, I'll have to fight in a team, so there'll be many techniques that I can't use. I think the Death Sickle is better for me since I can fight on my own."

"That concludes the report for the first month of 'Miss Sellers'." Anthony finishes his words on the podium.
"…" Despite his calm exterior, Anthony is very very nervous looking around the people in the conference room. The people he just addressed are the board members of Vagner Studios and the investors in 'Miss Sellers'.
"…" The board members can only mull over sullenly the poor ticket sales of 'Miss Sellers that Anthony reported.  
"I've heard from people that you had something to do with this?" One investor asks in hidden anger.
"Yes. Even though we lost 20 screens from Centurion, we managed to work something out with our distribution branch. We were able to offset our losses from Centurion by grabbing more screens from smaller theaters and independent ones. I also got last minute product integrations which saved us millions." Anthony reports wanting to neutralize his faults.  
"Everyone." Vagner Studio's CEO, seeing the unfriendly gazes of the people in the room towards him and Anthony, takes the attention.
"Let's just admit it, we were outdone. Anthony here at least did something that made us break even despite his… unconventional methods. We just can't dictate what the people want to see, and the people wanted to see Isaac's film more than ours. It's as simple as that." The CEO defends Anthony.
'What the FUCK?! That's what I said yesterday! You f*ckin dressed me down and now you're parroting me?! FUCK YOU!' Anthony curses the CEO with a glare.  
"I know you could have done better, but you're not wrong either." The chairman of the board speaks up. "What I'm more worried about is the future." This makes everyone in the room perk up.
The Chairman continues. "At least we broke even. The films of the smaller studios can't even sell tickets; they are f*cked. And if we don't get our sh*t together, even though we're big, we're f*cked too."  
"What do you mean?" An investor asks on behalf of those who are not in the know. Those who are in the know like the CEO and Anthony on the other hand, have an inkling of what the chairman is talking about.  
"The rumors about the sequel for that gangster film, I've confirmed it's true." The chairman reports to everyone.
*murmur* *murmur* The people look at him skeptically.
"A handful of the people who have a history with the Coniglio Family already saw it. There are even rumors that there's still a sequel after the sequel because the first sequel did not wrap up the story." The chairman erases the skepticism.
*MURMUR* *MURMUR* The room descends to subdued panic.
"So it's not just 'Miss Sellers' we should be concerned with, but the sequels 'Yard Blues' and 'Love Campus' too." The chairman says as he looks at the CEO and Anthony.
"And if Isaac is not the forgiving type, and he found out what you did, Anthony, what do you think he'll do?" The chairman concludes with a rhetorical question. Anthony's face crumples at this.  
"That's right. He'll do what we've been doing. Release his sequels alongside our films'." The chairman says to make the others understand.  
"… Why don't we uh… sue him?" A young board member suddenly proposes, saving Anthony.
"What?!" The others are dumbfounded.
"On what grounds?" The CEO asks.
"Let's just get some random guys, have them claim that 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer' is their work and that Isaac stole the idea from them. Rinse and repeat." The board member says.
"Intimidation suits? Are you fuckin stupid?" The chairman yells.
"What? We do it all the time against journalists." The board member says.
"You're not talking about libel or defamation, but copyright infringement! We're gonna get sued back for fraud if a judge doesn't slap us with it first." The CEO shoots down the suggestion.
"What's more stupid is that you're not just suing Isaac. You're offending Coniglio family too. Hell, I wouldn't even be surprised if someone in this room is connected to them and the Coniglio will find out about your stupidity before you even leave the building." The chairman says.
The board member swallows his spit but recovers his guts immediately.
"Then what the hell are we supposed to do? Wait it out? Wait until Isaac does not have a film on theaters?" The board member counters.  
"…" The CEO and the chairman are stunned by the unintended suggestion.
"Huh… Aside from making films that can match Isaac's film, which right now is hard to do? … Waiting it out… might just be the best thing we can do." The CEO says.
"Usually, we make others not want to compete with us but this time, that might just be the right move." The chairman shakes his head.  
"Really? That will just end up with more losses." The board member grumbles.
"We might save ourselves from losses…" Anthony butts in.
"Ah! Excuse me. May I talk to you for a moment?" The CEO however immediately grabs Anthony's arm with a warning glare.
Anthony ignores the warning and returns a look of defiance while brushing the CEO's hand aside. 'F*ck you. You approved of my plans. You also tried something, so you're going down with me if this don't work out.' Anthony thinks as he takes the center of the podium again.
The CEO can only give up and retreat to the side of the room as to not get caught in what he thinks an incoming crossfire.  
"?" The attention of the room goes back to Anthony, their curiosity intensified from the interaction they just witnessed.
"Without Isaac's film, 'Miss Sellers' could have been the best-selling film this year. To be quite honest? 'Miss Sellers' is just as good as September Ninth. It might even be better than September Ninth considering the details we put in it.
"That means that we've done great in applying Isaac's style and enough people liked it. If we can re-write 'Love Campus' and 'Yard Blues' into a better story, while making their quality the same with 'Miss Sellers', we will catch up with Isaac. We make money while we learn." Anthony concludes.  
"How confident are you?" The chairman asks.
"50%, tops that we can compete, 75% chance that we can break even every film until we catch up. But I'm 100% confident that our people are competent. They are learning on the job every day. Let's look for new talents too. There are many young and obscure indie film makers competing right now in different film festivals, and they have adapted Isaac's style well. Even though we can't compete with Isaac for now, we'll do well enough to survive." Anthony says. Anthony's confidence somehow calms the room down.  
"Another thing. Last year, there was a total of 100 million or so ticket sales in America and 40 million of those are by 'September Ninth' in only four months. The first seven months of this year, we saw 62 million tickets sold and of those, 35 million tickets are sold by 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer' in only six weeks." The board members are shocked at this report.
"We… can't keep Isaac do this to us…" An investor chimes in.
"We can't. However, we have a take away from this. In the previous years, before Isaac's debut, the highest we've seen in ticket sales in the country is around 90 million and that was in 2007, 10% less than last year.
"Looking at Isaac's 'September Ninth', he earned way more in ticket sales than DVD sales. That isn't normal in the industry. It's either 50% tickets, or 50% DVDs/Blu Rays. This means that Isaac actually  made movie viewers go to the theaters instead of them just waiting to buy or rent DVDs or Blu Rays." Anthony concludes.
"So you're saying, Isaac is changing how films are seen..." A random board member says.
"Yes. Without 'September Ninth', and 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer', we never would have known that the American film market is bigger than we thought. If we can offer the market quality, stand-out films like Isaac's, then we have the potential to capitalize in the biggest film market we've seen in history." Anthony explains.
*MURMUR* *MURMUR* All sorts of exclaims and discussions fills the room.
"…" Watching the people he cannot get through to previously now listen to him, Anthony is feeling proud inside but maintains his calm. He then looks at the CEO and the CEO simply looks away.
'Not only incompetent, a f*ckin coward too.' Anthony feels smug looking at the CEO looking small.  
"How do we do that?" The chairman asks after the round of discussion.
"… I have a suggestion, a summary really of the opinions of our creative teams… And you won't like it." Anthony begins with hesitation.
"We should stop making films of the romance or sports genre." Anthony says.
*MURMUR* *MURMUR* The room immediately react negatively and they share the same sentiment; "Those are our money-makers…"  
"Everyone… I get your knee-jerk reactions but here's the thing. Isaac proved that people are hungry for something new. He made films that we thought are against the market but he ended up setting a new trend. I hate to admit it but, it's a start of a new era for the industry." Anthony drops.  
"Then what are we supposed to make films about?" A random board member asks.
"It's best if you get the details from our creative teams themselves, but I can say something. I've seen various films that 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer' competed against in Sorrento and I think we can grab some ideas from them.
"First of all, we can stop making sports films. I can say with confidence that 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer' gobbled up the slice of the sports genre. Hell, I think 'September Ninth' even made sports films boring last year, making the sports films flop. Tell me, everyone. If you go to a theater that shows 'September Ninth' and 'Hard Ice', which one would you have seen?" Anthony asks.  
"... September Ninth..." is the split decision winner.  
"Exactly. September Ninth was more exciting to watch than 'Hard Ice'. That's why 'Hard Ice' flopped despite being nominated and winning awards. I myself would rather watch a real hockey match or behind the scenes footage of real athletes than watch 'Hard Ice'." Anthony says.  
"Now, would you folks rather watch 'Gold, Blood, and the Deer' or 'Yard Blues'?" Anthony asks again.  
"..." Tayaw's film again is the winner.
"Right. And it's for the same reason. While we can't make a gangster film like Isaac's, we can borrow some ideas. We can make films that talk about searching for family." Anthony suggests, receiving nods of approval.  
"When it comes to romance films on the other hand, we can still make them." Aiden says. This gets a more positive response.
"But we can't make them the way we used to. I've seen some of this year's best films in festivals. I've noticed that they still have flavors of romance in them but just like 'September Ninth', they are more about the growth of the characters as people, not just fighting for deserving it. Don't worry though. Our people right now are splitting their hairs to make that happen." Anthony reports.
Seeing the approval in the room, Anthony is now more confident. However, he does not want to appear dictatorial to his superiors.  
"If you're all not ready to give up on romance and sports, maybe we should make films that are not fairy tales but actually talk about the reality of love and athletes' lives. Those are just suggestions, but any topic really that is unique and will be interesting to people, we should make films about those." Anthony concludes.
That makes the room enter a lively discussion. Anthony can finally smile, having gotten through the skulls of the board members.

Passing the muddy water puddles carelessly, Jack's sharpened eyes chose the tiny gap between two giant tall walls to hide their existence. Sia was dumbfounded until he pulled her body in sandwiching between two walls before towering over her thumping figure.
Sia gasped before looking up to meet his hooded eyes that had been observing the outside area. Looking around, she figured out that they were sandwiched between two walls that barely provided them a secret for hiding close. Sia looked up and saw his protective glazes for her that wavered her thumping heart successfully. It was the undeniable truth that woman loved to be protected, cared by her man more than fooling around illogically. Sia panted averting her blissful eyes before following his gaze towards the carriage.
On the other side, an expensive carriage had quickly made their way into the market following up a row of uniformed bodyguards. The decoration over the carriage was too lavishing that could easily help the passers-by to identify that it belonged to a prestigious figure. Even the curtains were made of white velvet cloth that considered to be the most costly cloths in werewolf world.
As a young lady landed down from the carriage, the sellers all hung their heads down respectively as if they were taking each breath cautiously. Looking up at the descended figure, they all were stunned for a moment as their curious eyes caught the sight of her boy cut hairs.
Magadona had a gloomy face wandering her eyes around sharply and stood still hanging her head up like a queen. She wore a white floral fork that ended up above her knees while a hat could be noticed over her head precisely. It was the first time the sellers had seen her in a different look without her streaming hairs. Her expression wasn't so good after being tortured by David and decided to vent out her in somewhere. Thus she arrived at the market earlier than her usual time.
Walking ahead slowly, she caught the fear sight of sellers as a satisfied smirk formed in her pinky lips. One by one, she observed each stalls that all had freshened vegetables and meats appearing extremely fresh.
Pondering for a moment, she decided to head for the old lady's stall first as her vegetables appeared much-loved than others. Two of the guards quickly trailed her closely as they all kept their eyes down in a respective manner.
Watching Magadona making way towards her stall, the old lady held her breathe tightly and forced a smile to welcome her. Bowing a little, she talked watching Magadona nearly towards her stall,
" Welcome.. Madam.. What would you like to pick up for your lunch today?"
Magadona hummed coldly putting on an indifferent look as she quickly scanned her eyes over the groceries swiftly. Watching them fresh and lively, she asked out of curiosity,
" Haven't anyone come to buy groceries today? Your vegetables are so fresh. Why haven't showed any interest of buying them?"
She paused before taking a glimpse of her torn clothes before mocking,
" Or they felt too aggrieved after watching your ripped clothes? "
The lady's face turned red in embarrassment as she instinctively gripped the torn hole on her waistline gently. Magadona's lips curled up a little before paying her attention back over the vegetables whereas one of his guard helped it stuffing into the bag casually.
The lady couldn't utter a single word as she saw how Magadona had chosen all the best vegetables and left the less preferable ones at a side. Nor did she select all the best vegetables, she smashed some them purposely so that the others couldn't buy it later. The lady gulped and silently gazed around to find the running boy and girl nearby. She gave a sigh of relief when she didn't spot them anywhere nearby.
On the contrary, Sia and Jack both were observing the lady and guards quietly as Jack's eyes flashed with killing intent but he had to hold back in regard of Sia's safety. Looking down, Jack saw her flattering eyelids that seemed to bore a lot of pressure for the current situation. As he gazed at her face deeply, Sia mumbled noticing the ruckus created by Magadona on the stall,
" Why was she smashing the other ones? Can't she just pick them up nicely? Did you see? She is deliberately smashing the left ones."
Jack followed her gaze and really noticed that Magadona had been throwing the vegetables carelessly to show her unreasonable wrath. Frowning deep and hard, Jack stated sternly even though his veins were boiling in fire to kick their ass off,
" Ignore them! We are out of the castle and can't be discovered by others."
Sia hesitated parting open her lips slightly,
" But..."
She felt sorry for the old lady who had shared her pitiful life with Sia a while ago. Watching her business going down for that unscrupulous woman, Sia felt her blood boiled in anger as she couldn't do anything to help her.
On the other side, the old lady's expression continued turning grim as she watched Magadona's throwing hand gobbling inside the groceries ferociously. Looking up, she scanfully observed her sudden little hairs that seemed burnt from the edge.
Gasping in shock and astonishment, the old lady blurted out subconsciously,
" Madam, who burnt your hairs?"
Probably it was the biggest mistake that she had done in her entire life to inquire Magadona about her hairs. Magadona slightly paused before lifting up her cold eyes that fell over the lady chillingly.
The old lady shivered knowing the mistake that she had done just now and muttered apologetically,
" No, madam.. I was just being noisy. I.."
Her abrupt words had been cut off by Magadona's thunderous roar,
" You dare to question at my hairstyle? Who do you think you are?"
The old lady jolted in her spot before shaking her head denying vigorously. She didn't mean to insult her at all. She just inquired involuntarily and didn't expect that Magadona would be so fired up.
Magadona panted furiously as the scenes from past night replayed in front of her vision continously. Her blood boiled more as she threw the groceries away ruthlessly in a shot.
In a blink of eye, the lady's all groceries had been thrown away over the floor carelessly as the other sellers hung down their head more inwardly shivering in fear that could be described from their stiff expression.
The lady held back her sobbing hard watching her all the hard works smashing under her own eyes and didn't dare to move an inch. Just at that moment, she was startled before screaming out when Magadona dragged her down from her tool and threw her over the ground like those smashed vegetables.
The lady screamed more in pain as her wrinkled face banged against the hard ground tightly. Soon after, Magadona's roaring voice echoed in the empty market like a deadly warnings,
" You have dared to disrespect me, old slut? Do you know that who am I? What can I do to you? Who are you to question at my hairs?"
The lady whimpered on the ground before muttering with her weak strength,
" Ma.. Madam, you have misunderstood my words. I was just asking you casually.. ahh.. "
She screamed loudly feeling a hard punch on her back as Magadona stooped over her fallen body hardly. Her eyes were ruthless without having an ounce of softness as she looked down at the woman coldly,
" You dare to rebuke my words? You think that I didn't notice your mockery hidden behind your eyes? Huh?"
The lady howled in pain as she pressed more strength on her back earning loud screaming from her. Even though the woman was an old werewolf but she had long back lost her strength and powers. Comparing to Magadona's power, she wasn't enough to stop her.
On the flip side, Jack had a hard time holding back Sia into his cage as she protested constantly,
" Let go of me, Jack. I better teach that woman a lesson. How dare she torture the oldy without no reason? Lucky, Princess isn't here or she would have already smashed her few bones meantime. Let me go..!"
Sia struggled as Jack stretched out his two arms to block her way. Staring back coldly, he answered reasonably,
" I know your emotions. Even I am hating to see her getting tortured for no reason. But I can't let you go over there. I might not have much strength to stop them alone from hurting you. No matter what, I can't put your life in danger."
Sia stared back at him coldly and felt warm inside her heart until she heard another howl of pain from the old woman along with Magadona's vicious laughter,
" Whoever dare to question me will have the same consequences just like her! You heard my words?"
Sia's gaze darkened more as she saw the old woman struggling weakly under Magadona's feet sorrowfully. She couldn't wait any longer thus bite down on Jack's arms hardly. Jack hissed before pulling back his arms instinctively before watching her running away towards the old lady.
" Stop!"

It was different from now. The person who accompanied her was now standing by her side - Di Fuyi. She felt inexplicably excited as if she owned the world. 

Di Fuyi was particular with cleanliness. Apparently, this guy did not always come to the night market, so when Gu Xijiu brought him to the night market he somewhat resisted… 

Gu Xijiu explained to him, the food culture of a city was not shark's fin or bird's nest boasted by luxurious restaurants, but the street food in the night market.

After the detailed explanation by Gu Xijiu, Di Fuyi finally sat down with her in front of a food stall…
Of course, when he sat down, he applied the cleaning spell so the chair they sat on became as clean as freshly washed. Some of the tables and chairs had been very smokey and the original color could not be seen. Di Fuyi was relieved and he threw the fishball stick that made his stomach churn. He held her hand continued walking.

He was rich. He would buy everything that Gu Xijiu liked. After a few times, all the sellers on the street had known that the both of them were rich. When the sellers saw them, they served them very politely and attentively.

It was a rewarding trip after they walked for one round.

Fortunately, she had a super spacious storage bag. No matter how big the thing was, she could store them in the storage bag without it being cumbersome.

In fact, the things sold in this stall were special but not rare nor precious. Gu Xijiu bought them just for fun and also to give away to her friends.   

Both of them just casually shopped and Di Fuyi just followed Gu Xijiu.

He never thought that he would have the free time to casually shop. He used to travel to different and nice places with beautiful scenery. However, it was his first time shopping with a woman. 

Surprisingly, he did not feel bored but was still very happy. Especially when he saw her sparkling eyes, he was even happier. 

Although they had changed and made up, they were a man and a woman who looked handsome and pretty.

Those sellers were also very good at selling. They always praised them as the perfect couple and greeted them with best wishes.

Whenever they talked about this, Di Fuyi was even happier and became exceptionally generous. Sometimes the money he paid was even more than the price of the product.

Zeeth went off to the hunters association. The one thing he did have was the spatial bag Avery gave him to hold. He was hoping to meet them there and figure out what to do. All four of them were found at the reception telling the woman behind the counter, "we did kill them, I'm telling you we killed a bunch."
"I'm sorry, ma'am I need to see the bodies."
"I told you, the dungeon caved in and they were lost! It's not our fault."
Zeeth walked up to them, surprised at his luck. It usually didn't work so quickly. "Hey, guys."
All four of them turned to him, staring in disbelief. Reya was the first to run up to him and hug him. "Thank you so much for saving me, I heard about what Russel did, I'm so sorry for passing out, I hate heights I thought I was going to die!" She wailed. 
"It's alright," he awkwardly told her, patting her back. He didn't know what he was supposed to do in such a situation, having lost his memory and never remembering such a situation. "By the way, I have the bag with our first monsters but I lost the rest."
"Oh, thanks!" Diane exclaimed.
"Never mind that, why are you carrying a gold coffin with you?" Avery asked.
"Who cares, show her the monsters, we need to know how much this will get us." 
"Guys, let's calm down, people are looking at us…" their fourth member said. "By the way, my name's Aroc."
"Right, I've never met you before." Zeeth handed the bag to the woman and shook Aroc's hand, still in the suit of armor. But the helmet was taken off and he could see Aroc had pink hair and a very soft face. 
"Aroc is the cutest member of the team, he is our mascot!" Diane hugged him from behind.
"He?" Zeeth asked. In all his experiences, men had sharper faces but his face was much softer. 'There are a lot of people in the world.'
Aroc blushed and tried to put his helmet back on but Diane stopped him and rubbed her cheek against his, squealing, "Aroc, you're so cute!"
"This is 5550 Styrs." the receptionist told them. "Would you like to split this five ways?"
"No, Russel- oh right. Russel's. Gone." Aroc mumbled
Reya Blurted, "He was a jerk."
"No, he wasn't!" Aroc declared, "he was a good person, he taught me a lot of things!"
"He pushed us into the hole to kill us." 
"That- he said he tripped!"
"Aroc, we all know that was a lie. He was jealous." Avery said. She took the spatial bag back while the body of the horned wolf, large slime skin, bloody alligator, and lizard were all put on a conveyor belt leading into a wall. He heard the swish of a teleporter and the smell of blood from the creatures mellowed out. 
He took his part of the cash, 1110, stored with his other 750 Styrs and left it with the association, wanting to wait until he got his things back to take the cash. 
"That wasn't him, he was better than that."
"Aroc, he may have been helpful to you since you were a boy and he didn't treat you like us, but he was a pervert. He was only with us for so long because you like him. He may have been like a brother to you but he was a scumbag to us. Don't you remember, when he first thought you were a girl, he tried to touch your butt?"
Zeeth left them after sorting out his money, not wanting to get mixed up in their mess. The last thing he heard was, "I still don't want him to be slandered even in death, he's already dead, just leave him be." and Aroc angrily stormed off.
The first place he went was the weapons and armor shop all while trying to figure out what to write in his book. The storefront showed off many suits of armor and matching weapons in the window, the same ones he mentioned in his book, but the actual store was multiple stories tall and housed some of the fanciest stuff around, prospering greatly from the vicinity it had to the Hunters association. It seemed like a mall, there were many stores with the Hunters Association logo and next class designs in their products, but there were also many individual sellers showing off their own items, usually of lower quality or messier. He looked around at a few of the items and it seemed that most of them had no magic imbued or badly made circles etched in. 
The floor beneath them, labeled U1, was much less crowded, people looked richer and more well off, they were selling better items but there were fewer sellers and buyers here. They began looking more like what he made, some of them even surpassing his items, but still, nothing really caught his attention. He tried going down another floor but two bald, burly people in thin metal armor stopped him. They grunted, "Only for authorized personnel."
He went back to the U1 floor and began really looking at the items. People in glowing armor and fancy clothing watched him with aversion. Sellers followed his hands cautiously and they were all thinking the same thing, 'this poor fellow will try to steal something.'
He stopped in front of a Hunters Association store and stared at something. It was a large sword with a circle he had never tried before. The owner, a thin man with a similarly thin mustache, looked down at him as he bent down to stare at it closer and thought, 'Ugh, he's in front of my store. Look at his dirty brown robe, when was the last time he took a bath? He better not try to swipe anything, everyone's watching.'
"What does this circle do?" Zeeth asked. He tried checking it with God's Eye but all it said was [Unknown Circle]. It seemed there were limits, it could easily tell him the strengths of humans but there were many things he had to learn himself if it wasn't living. 
"That sword will cost 1000 Styrs, sir," he said.
"Okay… but what does the circle do?"
The seller sighed and said, "sir, are you sure you would like that one?" but he was thinking, 'Gah, he better not touch anything, I'd have to wash it off. Why can't he just go somewhere else, does he want to blow his entire monthly wage?'
"No, I don't know if I want to buy it, I want to see what it does," Zeeth replied, slightly annoyed that he was avoiding the question for some reason.
He stared at the sword and Zeeths hand with his narrowed eyes, "The circle allows you to add a gravitational push on the sword upon activation in the direction the edge of the blade is facing."
"Oh, awesome. Gravity circles." he was spending his time trying to memorize the placement of the circle so he could try it himself. 
'Just letting you know, all these people feel disgusted and distrustful of you.'
'What? Why?'
'Probably because you look like you just climbed out the sewers and want to steal something, I can't blame them. You look disgraceful for someone of your strength.'
'That's harsh, this robe was a gift and a magic tool.'
'They don't know that, you look poor and like a beggar.'
'Hey, would you be able to make this?'
'I only know the basics. I never spent too much time learning how to make magic weapons, tools make people weak and over-reliant on temporary items that could be lost at any time.'
Zeeth asked, "can I test the sword?"
He eyed his arms and legs and noticed they were in fact muscular. He was probably a simple hunter with some strength and his sense as a salesman told him to at least try and sell the sword so he took out two brown gloves and said, "Please wear this glove before handling it."
Cina came down the steps and saw Zeeth's back and tried to walk back up the stairs but two others, Puq and Luka were coming down the steps and she didn't want to go back in case it made her look weird so the three of them came down the steps and saw Zeeth. Puq held Luka back from greeting him and simply watched. 
Zeeth put on the gloves that he thought fit nicely with his robe, and picked up the sword with surprising ease, lifting it far higher since he expected it to be heavier, especially for a sword that was meant to use gravity and weight to crush opponents. He swung it down and activated the circle, feeling the gravitational pull yanking on the sword. He definitely felt its power and it was something quite substantial, but with some random material he could find in the City of Swords, he could make something better for such a circle. 
The sellers were surprised he didn't let go of the sword upon activating the circle. Most people would have trouble handling such a sword on their first try, but having been trained and held up to the standards of an ancient sage dragon, he was much stronger than a normal human. He thought back to his tough times with Afir all of a sudden and remembered the near trauma he had trying to escape his deadly blades of wind and unpredicted punches. Almost every night, he was bloody and bruised, but Afir had somehow always fully healed him by the time morning came. At first, he thought it was a blessing but it turned out to be the greatest misfortune of his life, he could always be healed enough for another terrifying day of "training" and painful near-death experiences. 
But he must admit, it was the fastest he had ever grown and the most helpful time of his life for his future endeavors. 
He put the sword back and took the gloves off. "Sorry, it's not what I'm looking for."
"What? A 1000 Styr sword isn't up to your standards?"
"Hey, peasant." Someone said. It was a tall fellow with a clean-cut and orange hair a lot like Cina's. His expensive armor and shield along with his demeanor easily showed to others that he wasn't someone to be truffled with. Or in Zeeth's eyes, a narcissistic asshole. "This place isn't for the poor, you best get out of here before you keep lying your ass off."
"I don't remember asking for your opinion."
He checked him with God's Eye and he wasn't anything that great either. He was slightly stronger than Puq and only his armor was impressive. 
His massive shield, his only weapon, read [Albert's Shield. Durability: 1198/1250 Defense:1380. A  shield adorned with high-class gems. A phosphorescent shield that can be used as a compass and designed specially to parry attacks.]
While his full suit armor said, [Alberts Armor. Durability: 1700/2500. Defense: 700. Made for ease of movement during the battle, its defense is low although the great craftsmanship and magic increase its durability greatly. Phosphorescent and can grow a pair of decorative metal wings.]
"Listen, if you can't afford 1000 styrs, you're better off on the first floor. Don't come to bother us here, you're unappealing to look at." A few other customers and even some brave sellers chuckled at his joke, his smirk turning into a confident grin. 
Luka jumped in and told him, "don't judge a book by its cover. He can easily take you on."
The simple phrase sent Zeeth into a volley of memories, flashes of entertainment like music, movies, games, and books flashed in his mind, he remembered watching comedy shows and amazing books of adventure and thrills, so much of his cherished memories he didn't even know he had all came back to him. 
When he came back, he looked around and finally noticed Luka, Puq, and Cina. Albert also noticed the three but focused only on Cina. her long orange hair, pretty face, and beautiful eyes mesmerized him, he couldn't stop looking. But Cina was only looking at Zeeth, disregarding Albert.
Zeeth started talking but a guard interrupted, "do not start a fight here."
"What's this about a fight?" someone asked. Coming down the steps was someone, a short man holding a large suitcase that looked like it was holding a long guitar. It was Meres, Page's grandpa, coming down.
"Meres?" Zeeth asked.
"Zenith. Interesting name choice. Don't start a fight here, people don't like me here."
"What are you doing here?"
"Here to check up on you. Make sure you didn't run away."
"Why would I do that?"
"The skeleton isn't having as easy of a time as you are."
Dives burst from the stairs, staring at a beeping disc. He glossed over Zeeth and stared at Meres. 
After a few seconds of shock and slight fear he asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Don't worry, Dives. I'm not here to fight, just here to check up on this kid."
"Uncle Dives, can you ask this filthy bumpkin to get out of here if he isn't buying anything?" Albert asked. 
"Albert, don't get involved."
"What? Uncle! What do you mean?"
"Albert. Stop being rude to customers. Another word and you'll be banned for a week." Dives said stiffly, still staring at Meres. "Come with me downstairs. Zeeth, come along."
He made sure to take a long look at sellers and Albert and grinned as their jaws dropped. "He knows Dives?" one whispered.
"And he's friends with someone Dives is scared of?"
"What the- but he's filthy and probably poor."
He hopped down the stairs after Dives and Meres while Luka and Cina were glaring at the sellers. 
"Meres, why would you come back?" Dives immediately asked upon entering the room. Beyond the guards and closed doors was a room full of packaged boxes and wrapped items. A few unwrapped items lay sprawled on tables and glowed magically. 
Meres said, "I told you it was to see the kid. I'll be leaving in a minute."
"Meres, you are not a welcomed man here. Please leave and never come again, things will get violent if you try something."
"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do?"
"Meres. Please just leave before my father finds out. This city will fall if he sees you here."
Zeeth looked between the two of them and then at all the scattered boxes and items. Anything that was unwrapped was of much higher quality than anything on the two other floors. Round shields that spun at incredible speeds to increase defense and attack, wands and staffs that strengthened magic attacks, circles carved for unknown functions.
