Ashley, on the other hand, was shocked. She didn't know if she would sit back or just stand. When she suddenly felt Koji's hand grabbed her arm. She came back to her sense and looked at his direction. Eyes filled with questions. 
"Sit down, I'm so sorry that you had witnessed what happened. Whispered Koji to Ashley who was still bewildered with what had happened, listened, and sat back down.
'My God! Is that how the Japanese act when they get angry? I hope Tanaga's not like that, I don't think I could handle seeing him beat-up another human being.' She thought as she silently sat down waiting for the meeting to commence.
A moment later, the Director of Marketing started speaking again. "As I was saying before I got slapped. Hahaha!" He jokingly said acting as if he was not affected by Ohani's actions.
The other upper management who was there joined the laugher at what the Marketing Director said.
"Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha!"
"Well, it looks like we need a new endorser for this product. What do you all think if I recommend the woman seating right next to COO Hanada?" The Marketing Director asks everyone present.
Ashley was in deep thought and didn't hear what the Marketing Director said. So she was surprised when Koji tapped her shoulder. "Miss Gusman, miss Gusman! The Marketing Director asking you if you can help us and be our spoke person for the new product. What do you say?"
"What?" Was all she could utter while looking bewildered. She couldn't believe that they are considering her to be the spoke person. Who are they kidding?" She mumbles, loud enough for Koji to hear.
"Why not? I think this product does suit you." Whispered Koji while patting her hand. 
All the Board members were also looking at Ashley anticipating her response. 
"Excuse me? Could you repeat what you just said?" Ashley asked as her eyes widened in panic.
"Me? You want me to endorse your product? Uh-uh," Ashley shook her head. "I'm sorry! But I'm not an artist or a model. See, I'm not that tall either. I'm sorry! But I must decline your nomination. I don't want to be the reason that your product won't sell." Ashley said seriously as she shook her head vigorously.
"Hahaha! Don't worry. It doesn't matter if you are not an artist or model. This product does not need this kind of endorser. Anyway, if you can at least think about it before you decline. As a matter of fact, It will be months before the launch of this product. Please!" Ask the Marketing Director with a kind smile.
"Can you promise to think about it at least? And the meantime will look at the other candidate. Just in case Miss Gusman doesn't accept our offer." Said the Marketing Director regretfully.
She only nodded and said nothing. She still couldn't believe they wanted her to be a product endorser for the company. She felt ashamed for Koji's sake and couldn't look at him straight.
Koji noticed that Ashley's face was red and that she couldn't look at him straight. Therefore, he decided that it's best to calm her down. He took Ashley's hand and began patting it like coaxing a child.
"Don't be shy, you should be proud that we are offering it to you because we can see that if you are to endorse this product. There are definitely a lot of people who will purchase it. Alright!" Koji gently explained it to Ashly to make her feel better. She only nodded as she slowly pulls her hand from his grasp. 
"I understand what your trying to say, sir Hanada. Alright, I promise that I'll think about it and I'll let you know before the end of this week. I just need to speak to one person. You do know who my real boss is?" Ashley reminded koji while her voice was loud enough for everyone to hear. 
"There! You all have heard Miss Gusman's answer. She needs to talk to CEO Jones first if he agrees. The truth is I am not her real boss so I don't have a say in the matter. So' If there is nothing else, we still have a lot of meetings to go to." Said Koji to everyone while he was obviously discouraged and disappointed by the tone of his speech.
President Hanada was just listening to the whole conversation the whole time. However, his mind was already far away and thinking ahead. They need to get Ashley by their side. No matter what happens, he will insists that Ashley agrees to be an endorser for the company.
When Ashley stands up to ready to leave, - "Miss Gusman, would you mind staying for a moment? There's something I need to speak with you!" Said President Hanada seriously with a stern-looking face.
There was nothing she could do but sit back and let everyone leave except for her, Koji, Kai, and President Hanada. Once everyone has gone, Kai then spoke up to explain to his dad.
"Dad, It's not Ohani's fault she did that. I was at fault because I told her that she was the endorser of the new product. I didn't know that the Marketing Director will change his mind just because he saw Miss Gusman! "Kai said while shooting dagger at Ashley.
Ashley was shocked to hear her name. 'What the heck is wrong with this guy? Is he blaming me for being here? That jerk, I came here as Koji's assistant, not to talk. nor compete with Ohani Yamachugi. Is it my fault I was born beautiful?' She thought as she stared back at Kai with a raised brow. 
Koji smirked when he saw how bad she was staring at his brother Kai. At least one thing he knows for sure,- he would not be a competitor in the future. Ever since he could remember, he's always giving ways to his younger brother. That's because Kai is their mother's favorite son.
Even the position as President of THJ Entertainment, it was given to Kai by his mother. She begged and pleaded to Grandmother Hanada to give him the position. Unlike Koji, he's in his position from his own effort. He studied hard to excel.
Ever since Koji entered THJ Group, the stock price raised to the roof. That's why Tanaga holds him dearly, not just as a cousin but also as one of his best employees. But, It is also becoming the reason why he could not get promoted to a higher position. Due to the fact that he's the best in his field.

When it came time to fabricate the second prototype for testing, Ves begged off the opportunity to do it himself.
"I trust in your company's capabilities."
"Oh? That's quite different from last time, Ves. Why the change of heart?"
"I am used to doing everything myself." Ves replied over the comm. "However, after seeing how competent your subordinates are, I think they can do an excellent job in my stead. The difference in quality won't be very noticeable."
"That is true. I hardly ever bother with fabricating a mech by myself. My employees have gotten very good at fabricating even my most complicated designs due to focused efforts on enhancing their capabilities. This is something that every mech company can accomplish over time as long as you keep nurturing your mech technicians."
The professor raised a good point. At this time, Ves would never trust his mech technicians as much as the professor did his own. The LMC's mech technicians were still rather basic in their qualifications. Learning how to fabricate an entirely new mech design took way too long. They would need to fabricate at least dozens of Aurora Titans in order for them to pass through the steepest part of the learning curve.
Aside from not wanting to bother with redundant work, Ves also had two other reasons to leave the matter in someone else's hands.
First, he already observed the effect of the Aurora Titan's underdeveloped X-Factor. Its strength was so strong that the test pilot already noticed its presence from the start.
Ves did not wish to attract more attention to this aspect of his design than he liked. The testing facility would doubtlessly be scratching their heads trying to disassemble and reassemble the Aurora Titan over and over again if they encountered the same phenomenon yet again.
By letting others be responsible for fabricating the prototype, the X-Factor of the mech would still be present, but in a substantially weaker form. It shouldn't be strong enough to attract any alarm.
Ves figured the incident with the prototype mostly had to do with the fact that Ves fabricated the prototype personally by hand. As his Spirituality increased in strength, its effects gained in strength as well. Any mech designed and handcrafted by Ves gained a lot more value than before!
In general, this was good news, because his gold label mechs and any custom mechs he developed became even more fantastic compared to their bronze and silver label counterparts. Even the latter two editions also rode along as the more potent X-Factor of the design meant that even if others mass produced his mechs, they would still retain a good amount of spiritual strength.

They moved on to discuss the marketing of the Aurora Titan. The closer they came to publishing the design, the more they began to shift their attention towards prepping it for the market.
So far, the initial tests showed that the Aurora Titan held a lot of promise. The challenge was in trying to convince the market to appreciate the value it could bring to a spaceborn mech force.
Marketing the mech was crucial to the mech design's commercial success. While neither Ves or Professor Ventag would bleed if the Aurora Titan flopped in the market, it wasn't in their nature to give up before a fight.
This was why both of them pooled together a substantial amount of money into the Aurora Titan's marketing budget. The LMC together with Bollinger Mech Trade would focus on marketing the Aurora Titan in Bentheim. NORA Consolidated would try to market the mech model in the rest of the Bright Republic and the star sector.
These two marketing campaigns required a lot of funding to take hold. If the Aurora Titan didn't sell more than a thousand mechs per year, then both companies would lose more money than they earned from its sales due to all of the money wasted on ad campaigns and other marketing activities.
"Where do you think NORA Consolidated spends most of its money?" The professor suddenly asked.
"Research?"
Ves knew that a Senior Mech Designer often engaged in expensive research in an attempt to advance their design philosophies. They needed to perform many different experiments, many of which involved the use of very high-end materials.
Advancing to Master was the ultimate dream of every Senior Mech Designer. Without devoting a sufficient amount of time and money into their research, they would never be able to come close to join the ranks of vaunted Masters in their profession!
Yet surprisingly, the professor shook his head. "It's actually marketing."
While Ves had an inkling that the professor might say that due to the current topic of discussion, the answer still surprised him a lot!
"How much do mech companies actually spend on marketing?"
"It depends on many factors, but generally the larger the mech company, the more they are able to leverage their scale to achieve very substantial gains from marketing. There are mech companies in the Bright Republic that spend twenty, thirty or even forty percent of their budgets on marketing!"
Forty percent! A mech company that spent almost half of their budget on advertising and other marketing activities alone must almost certainly run on hype alone!
"Does it work?"
"That's a difficult question to answer, but generally yes. Marketing does work. Why do so many mech companies allocate such a high proportion of their budgets to marketing activities if it's just a waste of money. It's an investment, Ves. In order for a company to make money, they have to spend money. Even if my company releases a new mech model, it can't rely on my reputation alone to turn it into a great success. Even though my company's brand is very strong, there are other companies that are also just as well-regarded."
"So mech companies are constantly competing against each other on marketing?" Ves furrowed his brows. "Won't that turn into an arms race at some point? Company A spends ten percent of its budget on marketing to capture marketing share from Company B. Subsequently, Company B spends twenty percent of its budget on marketing to recapture that same marketing share. In response, Company A ups their spending on marketing by thirty percent, and so on. Won't that eventually eat away at every company's profitability?"
The only companies who won in this arms race were the news portals and other media outlets who played the advertisements on behalf of the mech companies! They must be rolling in credits with all the money the mech companies threw at them to run their ads!
The sums talked about were far more than the company invested in marketing the Blackbeak and the Crystal Lord during their launch!
For the same money the company prepared to spend on its upcoming marketing campaign, it could have easily used the money to buy another Hanover production line and still have 2 billion credits left to spare!
"These spending levels are fully reasonable, Ves." Professor Ventag stated. "Sure, we are gambling heavily on our Aurora Titan design to achieve at least moderate success, but in order to maximize these odds, we need to invest a great amount of money."
"Still, ten billion credits is a lot of money for the LMC. If not for.. extenuating circumstances, my company would have never been able to gather this much money for the Aurora Titan's marketing budget."
The problem the LMC faced was that 10 billion credits was actually on the small side! The advertising landscape was so saturated with ads for different mech models that it was hard to get a consumer to pay attention to the Aurora Titan unless ads about it continued to pop up. Not only would ads have to be present in Bentheim's virtual sphere, but a physical presence was also essential.
The professor underscored the necessity of spending this much money. "Think about how many Aurora Titans need to be sold to earn back all of this money. How many mechs do we have to sell to recoup our marketing budgets? Does it seem so difficult for us to manage to sell at least this much mechs?"
Selling a thousand or more Aurora Titans would allow the LMC to pay back its investment in their new model's marketing campaign.
Ves nodded reluctantly. "If you put it that way, then maybe spending so much on marketing doesn't seem so bad. With how extensive our marketing campaigns can be, perhaps my concerns are unfounded."
This was the perspective of a true major mech manufacturer! The LMC still had a long way to go before it began to equal the likes of the old KNG or NORA Consolidated.
The Senior elaborated on the issue of marketing. "Right now, you're still an Apprentice, so you have always treated the competition as numerous but formless. Yet will that last? When you advance to Journeyman, you no longer compete with kids anymore. The moment you lift yourself up is the moment you and your company enters the big leagues. Not only will you be competing in a much less crowded arena, your competitors are as capable if not better than you. Even if you believe that marketing is a waste of money, what about your competitors?"
Ves knew that the nature of an arms race was that both sides had to one-up each other in order to remain viable in the race. The moment a participant stopped competing, they would quickly fall out of consideration.
While Ves became increasingly more dour, he knew that Professor Ventag had given him a very necessary dose of reality.
No mech company could do without marketing! Not if they wished to continue to grow!
A marketing campaign was like a mech regiment meant to be employed in the war for market share. In this analogy, the side which fielded the best and most numerous mechs gained the upper hand against a less-well funded mech regiment.
If Ves continued to remain as miserly with regards to marketing as before, his company's marketing activities would only be as strong as the Flagrant Vandals.
In an equal battle, the Flagrant Vandals would definitely lose out against the Hostland Warriors or the Spiral Shockers!
The Mech Corps invested a lot of money into maintaining the strength of their mech regiments. Mech companies were similar in that they spent huge amounts of money into their marketing activities.
Whether it was the military or a private mech company, both of them were required to fight their own battles.
A mech company like the LMC would always need to fight against someone in the market in order to secure some market share.
Ves ended the call shortly afterwards in order to digest the lessons he received.

Apalagi, sekarang sudah banyak beredar elektronik book dan aplikasi yang menyuguhkan cerita-cerita seperti novel dan cerpen. 
Vasco tak jauh dari bandung van java temapt favorite sena.  selain bangunannya yang historial ada banyak tempat menarik disana. Dan di jalan itulah sena bertemu dengan seseorang, bisa di sebut cinta pertamanya. sayangnya sena sudah lupa dengan wajahnya. Telalu singkat untuk terpesona dengan paras lelaki itu, dan terlalu lama untuk melupakan pesonanya.

	"oh iya pak", pakek gopay ya pak, terimakasih " kata sena. 
"Vasco Company" sebuah nama terpampang diatas pintu bergaya modern klasik. Sena masuk, terlihat seorang receptionist cantik berdiri menyambutnya. 
	"selamat siang ibu, ada yang bisa kami bantu ?" tanyanya.
	"iya kak, begini, saya kemarin menyetorkan proposal penelitian di bidang marketing, saya mau menyanyakan kelanjutannya"  kata sena 
	"boleh tau atas nama siapa?" tanyanya
	"Avicenna Margareta " jelas sena.
	"silahkan di tunggu dulu ya bu" kata receptionist sambil menyuruh sena duduk di sofa. Sena mengambil beberapa buku yang sengaja disediakan di atas meja tunggu. Banyak buku yang best seller, ada juga kumpulan cerpen anak-anak yang sepertinya diperoleh dari lomba menulis.  Setelah kurang lebih 10 menit 
	"ibu Avicenna, anda di minta menemui Ibu Tika Marketing perusahaan ini, mari saya antar" katanya. Sena mengikuti receptionist itu menuju ke ruangan kerja marketing itu. Mata sena terpana melihat lukisan-lukisan abstrak yang menghiasi dinding. 
	"selera mereka boleh juga" kata sena dalam hati.
Sampai di sebuah ruangan di ujung koridor, 
	"silahkan, beliau sudah menunggu" kata receptionist itu sambil membuka pintu. 
Sena masuk kedalam, melihat seorang perempuan dengan rambutnya yang digerai dan kacamata hitam.
	"permisi ibu, saya Avicenna" kata sena pelan 
	"oh ….. silahkan duduk Avicenna" katanya menyambut dengan ramah 
	"panggil sena saja" kata sena.
	"jadi saya kemarin sudah membaca proposal penelitianmu, menurutku sangat bagus sekali, jarang ada yang mau meniliti marketing di perusahaan penerbit buku, saya sudah acc untuk penelitian mu, hanya saja, bukan itu alasan  saya memanggilmu " kata bu tika 
	"boleh saya tau alasan ibu ?" Tanya sena 
	"aku butuh tambahan tim marketing untuk penerbitan di tri wulan ini, aku kehilangan dua staff ku, yang satu resign dan yang satu cuti melahirkan. Kamu bisa sekalian menyelesaikan penelitianmu, lagi pula kamu tidak akan susah untuk mendapat informasi dari perusahaan ini, bagaimana ?" Tanya bu tika
	Sena terdiam …
"gimana ya, tapi kalau aku juga magang disini lebih efisien juga gak perlu repot-repot ngurus izin, dan pasti dapat gaji juga " batin sena dalam hati 
	"sena bagaimana ?" Tanya bu tika 
	"sebelumnya, apa saya juga akan digaji bu ?" Tanya sena tanpa ragu 
	"jelas… kamu akan menandatangi kontrak, untuk 3 bulan dan berarti kamu di gaji " jelas bu tika 
	"e… iya deh bu saya akan mencoba, tapi saya harus banyak belajar juga " kata sena
	"syukurlah ,,,,, kalau begitu kamu besok mulai kerja ya… masuk jam 8, besok saya akan bawa kamu keliling dan kasih tau job kamu apa " kata bu tika
	Sena kemudian keluar dari ruangan itu, dia keluar dari vasco.

Dia melihat sebuah kedai cofe di sebrang jalan. Tanpa pikir panjang dia langsung menuju kesana. 
Seperti biasa sena selalu melihat best seller coffe jika berkunjung di kedai coffe, matanya langsung tertuju pada coffe dengan nama GAYO WINE. Dia belum pernah mencobanya, dia mengambil biji kopi di toples mengambil beberapa dan menghirupnya, 
	"harum sekali " bisiknya lirih 
	"Kak Gayo wine satu " kata sena bersamaan dengan seorang pemuda di sampingnya.

baginya cinta itu seperti secangkir kopi. yang semakin dia hanya mencoba sekali dia akan tambah ketagihan. dan baginya manis pahitnya kopi adalah hal yang paling dia cintai.

Iris followed the signs around the hall and into a different room. There were less people here. This room was labeled for the Marketing Department Hiring. She noticed maybe five or ten women and men sitting on rows of chairs. She joined and sat in one of the metal chairs. Then waited. Slowly the people in front of her went into the conference room and quickly they left. Some in tears, others tearing up their resumes in anger. Iris didn't realize she was nervous. She was busy tapping her heels on the floor in a calming tic.

"Iris Morgan, please enter."

It was her turn. She entered and sat down in one of the swivel chairs at the conference room oval table. 

Iris figured that Teresa must be the fierce blonde in the middle with piercing green eyes.  It was like a cat's face and probably the same attitude too. Two colleagues were at her left and right." The female colleague on the left first spoke.

"Hi. My name is Margie. I am the manager over the marketing team's Unit 1. To the right of me is Teresa, the head supervisor over the marketing department. To the right of her is Mark, who manages Unit 2."

Teresa then cleared the air and spoke. "I see you are Iris Morgan. You co-owned MarketingMadness. Your company was a huge rival. Why did you leave."

Iris took a big breath and said her practiced verbatim, "I helped manage MarketingMadness with my best friend for 9 years. However our legal paperwork was not correct or up to date so legally I owned no part of the company. I was replaced by her fiancé to create a family owned business."

Teresa laughed. "Your best friend screwed you over!" Margie gently nudged Teresa while Mark just stared at Iris. 

"Fuck it, you're hired. Add her to Mark's unit and if she performs well she can move to Unit 1. We just got to steal our competition. I think he have found the hire we needed, " Teresa said and continued to chuckle. "Go back to the lobby and ask Karen for the HR forms. I expect to see you here promptly at 8 AM CST sharp on Monday. Welcome to Gastropf-Quill Industries."

As Iris left, she heard Teresa continuing to laugh and Margie telling her to shut up. Last sound Iris heard before returning to the main room was Teresa on the phone saying, "Guess who I just found, brother?"

Antoine and Alex had been lead to the last company Iris was fired from by Tony. They were chased out saying that she doesn't work there anymore. They went to a run down apartment to get chewed out by the landlord telling them that if they find her that she better pay her rent on time or she will be evicted. Last place they stopped was Dallas Central Hospital and confirmed the pregnancy tests by compelling the nurse to give them the paperwork. It was true that Iris was pregnant. Antoine requested a paternity tests and provided his DNA. This was compelled to remain secret and the results only shown to Antoine.

Next the three vampires met up with Marcus at the spots of recent bitings. They smelled the blood. Each spot rang true of female O Neg. The strongest blood type. Best for those who wanted strength or needed to grow—like a baby vampire. Paternity test completed or not, Antoine was starting to realize that all Tony said was true. He hated when Tony was right, but he couldn't deny it any more. Plus admitting his fault would make Tony easier to deal with for the next few days and he definitely needed his help.

"Tony, you were right. I am almost positive that this mess is my fault."

"Aww, you couldn't just say 100% positive. It makes victory so much sweeter."

"Don't push it. I can take it back."

"Nope. Already said. Thanks, bro, for recognizing my superiority." 

Alex punched Tony. Marcus laughed. Antoine just stood there in the midst of it all.

Right then, Antoine's phone went off. It was his sister Teresa. He picked it up and answered.

"Hey bro. So you know I heard what happened at the meeting this morning. Well start thinking of ways to thank me. Guess who I just found, brother?"

"Who, Teresa?"

"Iris Morgan just applied for a job in marketing. I hired her. She starts on Monday. You're welcome. Now about that new handbag I wanted—"

Antoine hung up on Teresa. "We found her. She's a new hire at the company. Perfect to keep an eye on her. I will tell Mark to make sure she works nights. We need to keep an eye on her."

The guys decided to celebrate and returned to Bite On Bar to enjoy a round.

Iris loses her job with her best friend. She gets drunk at Bite on Bar and ends up having sex with chef and bar owner Antoine Gastropf. He is secretly the King of the Dallas area vampires. When Antoine goes to compel Iris to forget what happened that night, he slurs his words amd says to forget “what happens at night.” Now there is a pregnant amnesiac going around Dallas and causing trouble for the vampires with her new desire to feed on blood. Will they fall in love and can they stop from causing chaos all across Dallas?

Gu Zichen didn't focus much on the report presented by his subordinates as he was already in a damp mood thinking about the way how rude Li Xiaoyi behaved towards Wu Jinyan.
He knew it was all his selfishness that brought both the women together. 
However, he was not guilty of what all he did so far. He married Wu Jinyan only because he came across her in the right timing. He was in desperate need of a woman by his side to protect himself from his pursuers and also to make Li Xiaoyi regret her choice of leaving him for her career.
Moreover, Wu Jinyan too was in a need of a man to protect her.
He didn't want to make things too complicated for both of them and simply thought everything would be fine as long as he took responsibility for her Wu Jinyan's life as a normal husband by taking care of her necessities and keeping her safe from any danger.
Despite his depressed demeanour, he noticed Wu Jinyan was trying hard to maintain seriousness while listening to the report when she was actually not much interested. But with her unexpectedly laughing after seeing the commercial, he knew she had some opinion.
He paid attention to the commercial only when it was played for the second time. And with Wu Jinyan giggling again like she had seen some gag, he realized he wasn't the only one to find the concept used for the commercial was weird and not suitable for the given product's publicity.
Gu Zichen simply asked for her reason to laugh "What's funny about the advertisement? Is something wrong with it?"
Wu Jinyan was stuck in a state she couldn't avoid. On one side Gu Zichen was pressing her to speak and on the other end the other people seated around the table were sizing her up and down.
If she said her opinion, the employees who worked on the concept might find her too opinionated and blame her later if anything happened. In case, she didn't speak Gu Zichen might trouble her.
At that thought, she simply tilted her head and threw the question back to him "President Gu, you don't find it funny?"
It was better for her to make herself a silly woman before someone pointed out her flaws. So, she continued "Then I must be the only one to find it funny"
"No...I don't find it funny but I always thought one would laugh at someone's work only because of a valid reason. Just give me the reason"
"Huh!!" Wu Jinyan tried to escape but Gu Zichen put her in a tough spot. 
Just by the way how Wu Jinyan laughed, the staff who worked on the report and the commercial felt they were insulted by a stupid woman who knew nothing about business and marketing techniques.
The whole marketing team was agitated as they got criticized by a fool and the head of the team stood up immediately and said "President Gu, I know it wasn't our place to question you but you already let some outsider to see the company's confidential matters. You should also know the work done by my team has always been the best. And now you actually wanted an unrelated woman who knew nothing about product marketing to criticize our team's work"
The team leader spoke in fluent English with a thought that Wu Jinyan was just a dumb woman who wouldn't understand anything even when she was getting mocked for her stupidity.
The team leader was a woman in her early thirties. To become a team leader at such an young age, she worked hard since the day she entered Gu Corporation. 
Gu Zichen knew that the head of the marketing team was a talented person but with the manner she was speaking now, he was dissatisfied. 
The team leader was acting too proud just because she rose to the top too early.
Her hardwork brought her to acquire the top position within a few years. But she was being arrogant just because she was already at the top position and forgetting she could also step down from her position if something went wrong.
Gu Zichen didn't know who Wu Jinyan was in the past and he didn't want to know what life she lived in the past as what all he cared about was only her present life she was living as his wife. He would never let someone to call Wu Jinyan names. He would sure defend her as she was his wife.
"Team Leader Su, even an unrelated person who knew nothing about marketing laughed at your work and you really think you did a good job this time? I don't think so.." Gu Zichen too spoke in English as if he was just continuing a serious discussion with the team leader. He just wanted Wu Jinyan's to not know that they were talking about her.
"President Gu, you know it better than anyone. You were the one who rewarded me the best employee award last month for my exceptional working skills. But now you are saying my work wasn't upto the mark? Aren't you changing your opinions too soon?"
Gu Zichen never expected his own employees to speak against him. When did they become this audacious?
"Team leader Su...you should know that you are being extremely unreasonable. None can bring out excellent results every single time. One should accept the criticism the same way you accept compliments."
"Boss..you are calling your best employee as an unreasonable person because of a woman like her. I never thought you were that kind of man and who knows what good spell she..."
Everyone at the table was deeply immersed in the argument between the boss and the team leader and didn't expect this to come in between.
Wu Jinyan just then spranged up the seat and banged both her hands on the table.
She took a breath with her eyes closed and said while opening her eyes.
"I also don't know President Gu was such kind of man to keep a rude woman like you as his employee..."
Gu Zichen and team leader Su looked at Wu Jinyan with a mix of emotions in their eyes.
She knew they were speaking about her and she was listening to everything they were saying.
But they were talking in English.
Team leader Su was baffled. She initially thought Wu Jinyan was a brainless bumpkin. But in reality she wasn't really a fool and was simply observing everything from the side.
Wu Jinyan gazed at the team leader and spoke with menace spilling from her face.
"Just in case..just in case I didn't laugh and President Gu praised your work..."
"Huh...Even if President Gu didn't say much, I know he was originally satisfied with my work. It was you woman who changed everything"
"So this concept for the commercial is your own idea?!" Wu Jinyan saw the team leader's prideful nature and wanted to get a chance to point the main flaw she saw in the commercial directly onto the team leader.
Gu Zichen saw Wu Jinyan was as furious as a beast but he chose to calmly watch how the show unfolds now with her dealing with Team leader Su instead of him.
"Of course... It was me who came up with this concept" Team leader Su said confidently. The other marketing team members didn't say anything as their team leader already declared it as her work like always.
It was her team members' work but team leader Su knew as long as she stood strong, nothing could blew up her cover. It was an open secret that the team leader takes most credits for the efforts put up by the other team members.
"Ohh... really!!" Wu Jinyan chuckled and looked at Chen Fei.
"Assistant Chen, contact the company's legal team and tell them to get ready to defend the company and also throw her out penniless simultaneously"
She then looked back at Team leader Su and continued "Because someone will soon file a case against her saying she plagarised their ideas and tried to publicize products under Gu corporation"
Before Chen Fei could speak, Wu Jinyan silently walked away from the room leaving every employee in the meeting room confused.


Her niece married her fiancé and her sister in law plotted against her to kick her out of the house.
