It is meant to be a parody of Chinese cultivation novels and using their tropes.

The translator Deathblade asked the question, “What Chinese fantasy novel cliches do you dislike the most?” and this is my answer.

I wanted to write a ongoing fiction for the longest time, but kept getting stuck. This year, my resolution is to write at least 100 chapters of 2000 words. I began with the “Human Slayer” concept, but kept depressing myself with the sad and crazy backgrounds I gave characters.

This novel will be much simpler.

This takes place in a world of fantasy where there are mages knights and all different types of things. A Teenager by the name of Summer Tulip goes to work for the first time and there she meets somebody that will changer her life forever whether it be for the worst or best.

There is a description about a 'ghost writer' in the book 'Malice' from Japanese mystery author Keigo Higashino, who I have been a fan of. I don't have a clear memory of it by now, but the ghost writer in the book is very skilled in writing and the book shows us his previous note where he practiced writing by copying books of a specific author from beginning to end, to absorb his unique way of writing as it is. This is actually one of the approaches called 'Copying' in Asian countries to train authors, and it is widely known to non-authors as well.
The first time that I had run into the fantasy novel 'Swallow Knights Tales' had been at a small bookstore in front of my house, when I used to be in middle school. But I had not been impressed that much at the moment and had forgotten it for a long time, and when I started reading fantasy novels again as I got promoted to Sergeant in the Navy, this novel popped into my mind and I decided to reread it. And it has now become one of the best fantasy novels for me. I gotta confess, I've read it more than 10 times by now. If I am to read it again, I think I will, gladly.
The reason why I've been so into SKT is because the novel is 'comic'. Specifically, the way the author drew out a smile through the protagonist Endymion Kirian was that of a masterpiece. And another character that I liked the most, Kiss Cezyr was also portrayed as a very comic one, and in fact one of the reasons why I wrote this novel was 'to live like him'. If I had to mention it here, it was some sort of 'admiration for him'. From another book by Keigo Higashino 'I Killed Him', which I read recently, I happened to see the phrase 'admiration for badness'. For me who have been living by the rules in every aspect, I seriously wanted to learn how Kiss Cezyr could be so lazy, empty-headed and slacking off all the time. (Those may be some misleading words, but SKT is not just a low-quality comic book at all.) So to speak, it was the 'admiration for badness' in my own way. And for that, I copied SKT. Well, there are not too many funny moments in my writing and for that, you can blame my incompetence. It was simply impossible for me to copy the gag sense of Cheolgon Kim. (Author of SKT) (Laugh)
Anyway, like I said, this novel is what I wrote admiring Kiss Cezyr who lived like water flows and always laughed (except the tragedy at last), and what I wrote to be happy. Finishing this up, if I asked myself 'have you been happy?' then I would not be confident enough to answer 'yes, I have.' straightaway, but it is true that part of my personality has changed a little bit. Still wondering if I stick with standards and common beliefs and all too much, but I'd say at least I've become closer to the character of Kiss Cezyr than before. I've become more flexible when it comes to relationships, and able to shrug off things that would've eaten away at me in the past with a little 'whatever'. Now I will keep trying to enjoy my life and be happier, drawing Kiss Cezyr in my mind. And hope I can read either this novel or SKT and laugh out loud whenever I recall that resolution.
I think I've been talking about Kiss Cezyr too much, but in fact the protagonist of this novel has been modelled after the typical straight-arrow(-_-;;) knight from the original book named Karon Sharpentooth. Speaking of which, I'll reveal some secrets(?) of this novel here. The protagonist Kiriyan Masis was created by combining the names of the protagonist of the original book Endymion Kirian and one of the characters in the game Ace Attorney – Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations Tenryusai Masis, Ensis Knights was made from one of the characters of the original book Alteo Ensis, and Guillermo Raspalmas was actually the king of Beres, one of the kingdoms in the original book corresponding to Perriun in this one. Yes, it is a very shallow novel. (…) The distinctive things that I've put to make this different from the original work were also brought from somewhere and inserted whenever I got inspiration, rather than created. For example, channeling was inspired by the game I mentioned, Ace Attorney – Phoenix Wright, the maneuvers that Kiriyan used from time to time here were copied from the pro-wrestling program WWE, and Mikael's supernatural skills were inspired by oriental fantasy novels.
As I was writing, I had come to the conclusion that it was impossible to include all of the character settings, the development of incidents and etc from SKT Ⅰ - Ⅺ in this short novel. So it would seem like an excuse, but there are some characters that came out of nowhere and also some that didn't come to fitting ends. But I did the best I could for a long time to bring in the feelings of the original work as it is and give it some distinguishable features at the same time. So I think I've felt more attached to this novel than the other two I had written in the distant past and the depth of contents was deeper as well, despite many parts that I'm not satisfied with. Above all, when I started this writing was last year when I was serving in the Navy and now I cannot believe that today, after about 5 hours I'll have to go back to Uni for the first time after discharge. (Laugh) It was really a long time indeed, and a lot of things have happened. As I'm finishing this novel, I will go back to my past self who used to keep a diary. If I run into another mind-blowing work like SKT someday then I hope I have an opportunity to copy it as well, and I'm so certain it will be the time that I can make another change on myself like now. Wrapping up the afterword, I want to give this novel a belated title, Ensis Knights Tales, EKT. (Shallow to the last…) EKT, which has troubled me a lot, but I've grown fond of. Bye now.

In the Fantasy store, there are many books from his last live. If he spent some Fantasy points, he would be able to get any book he wants and draw as his own
After all, this was a world with many anime characters. They wouldn't know the novels from his world.
However, Why… Why is the ACG culture here so crappy? All the novels are about the same. Some overpowered Character will transmigrate to another word with cheats. This kind of novel where ever it is published it would get hundreds of fans all over the world.
Well, that's fine too, after all this is the era of ACG.
So now he was searching for novels, he didn't want to make a book and it turns out that it was already published. That would be a crime so he couldn't afford to do something like that without searching.
Copying someone else's work isn't a simple crime.
Next, Mu Fan started searching for novels. But he didn't find anything he knew, he found the best seller ones, one called "Love Affair" and "Fantasy System" and "Dark flames goblin"… He didn't hear anything about those works before.
Sure enough, there were no books from his former world.
Looking at the sale details of these books, Mu Fan couldn't help but take in a cold breath. Those books had the same sale detail as the best sellers from his past world. Fortunately, he had his fantasy system and his writing talent. He really wanted to make a book and sell in Akihabara.

Elyon knew that "Romance" is not his strong point. He writes a fantasy story with romance, but he can't tell if the romance will be able to attract female readers. Out of curiosity, he asked some of his fellow authors the question "Why do you read romance stories?"

Minrei: Because romance let you feel what is to be loved, plus it is universal you dont need to learn magic or cultivation in order to read.

Murakami: I read because I enjoy the friction and conflict between the FL and ML. The insistence vs resistance is naisu.

Qin: I reads romance only for ideas and info.

VlassisBehrakis: I don't read romance novels.

Yin: I read romance novels because I want that kind of drama to happen to me in real life. But I know it will never happen haha.

A Certain Irresistible Meowlin: I wonder why? And I do read romance novels. Though the chance of me dropping them is also the highest out of all the genres. Every so often I come across a scene that makes me just want to squeal and fangirl.

Elyon decided to dig deeper and asked a few of his senior "romance authors" some questions about their reason for writing romance stories.

The first question is… Why did you choose to write Romance Stories?

Anjeeriku: I'm comfortable writing romance stories compared to other genres. I'm a helpless romantic person and I like novels that can invoke other people's feelings.

Bajj: First of all, I like reading romance story. It was the reason why I read books before and reading other genres comes after. All in all, due to these romance fiction books, I got the opportunity to read more great books with different genre.

MishaK: That's what I read, so write that too.

Zehell2218: Because as reader, I want to read romance novel so when I write, I write romance since my motto is I write what I want to read.

Ikazainudin: The easiest genre. Everyone can relate.

End_of_Era: It wasn't a full on Romance, it was slice of life with romance which I feel was necessary with progression of the characters.

The second question… When you were making your ML and FL, did you imagine yourself as the lead of your story at any given point in time?

Anjeeriku: I would be a liar if I said no. There were instances that I'd put myself in my FL's shoes. Whenever that happens, my writing feels more passionate and truthful that sometimes it was hard to know where my fl starts and where I end. 

Shen Yi, LMD's ML was based on a person I've lost, The One That Got Away so it was sometimes hard not to self-insert whenever there were scenes that need to invoke feelings from readers. 

Bajj: I believe that every character the author was making and breathing life into it, a part of him/her is added to its character. But me imagining of being the ML/FL, never. I'm too pure for that. Kek

MishaK: Yes I did but sometimes. Otherwise you can't infuse emotions in your characters. It is important to understand your characters.

Zehell2218: Yes, I imagine myself as the lead. Of course, I tweak it a bit, such as in age and appearance. But mostly, the characteristics is similar to me.

Ikazainudin: FL and ML character based on what I want to be irl. Yup. I imagine that will be my love story.

End_of_Era: Yes, my leads had some ocassional self insertion.

The third question… If you were to choose some other genre aside from romance, what would you pick?

Anjeeriku: Fantasy. I always look up to those authors who can write fantasy stories/novels well. I believe writing a fantasy novel is harder than writing romance.

Ai~ there's a few more that I won't add to the list because it will create a wall of text. Well anyways, the reason why I read these stories is to get an idea on "WHY" the ladies love to read them.

Let's just say that it's a unique way to see a world in the eye of a lady (if you are a man of course). When done properly, the execution of the story can capture the hearts of anyone, even male readers. I believe that no matter what gender you are, as long as you find the story interesting then it doesn't matter whether you are a guy or a gal no?

Perhaps, when I'm not too busy to write my stories, I'll once again pick a romance novel to read. Hopefully, I will find another hidden gem that will bring unexpected surprises to anyone who are lucky enough to find them.

Since young I always felt atracted to the military way of life I joined the army as soon as I finished my studies at that time i was 19 yers old almost 20 at first I went through 9 months of basic after that I found that i really enjoid being in the military so after I spent all of my money which i got from basics on enjeyoing my freedom I signed up as a profesional soldier and ive been in the military for almost 10 years i did manage to achieve a rank of second lieutenant and led a platoon consisting of soldiers from 15 to 45 even though i spent 10 years in the army i actually never got got deployed on the batlefield and never killed someone I mean sure ive been in a few fist fights there and there but basically from always training I didnt do anything note worthy well I gues one of the reasons is that even though my country is in the NATO and UN my country is quite small and weak compared to major nations in NATO and UN though my nation did send soldiers under a NATO into such places as afghanistan but the ones they sent were best of the best and sadly I wasnt good enough to be sent as I said erlier im not some kind of space marine from warhammer 40k or force user from star wars or a spartan from halo im just youre evryday average joe preety much in evrything actually.
Well apart from being an average joe at everything in my life I'm what you can call an otaku I love listening to nightcore gaming watching all kinds of tv shows movies serials reading all kind of novels scrolling through manga watching anime but the ones I especially like are the ones about mc going to the fantasy world of magic and swords were mc brings his knowledge from the earth and builds his own kingom and then conquers the world under the iron hoofs of tanks.
Mmm, it never gets old then I think of tanks going against medieval eras cavalry that's basically the same as what happened to Poland when nazis invaded it well the only difference is that Poland had anti-tank weapons but in fantasy worlds they have magic.
Also speaking about nazis I actually can be considered a nazi my self I'm a fan of military dictatorship I love nazis world war 2 technology I'm fascinated by their collectivism of course I'm totally against the Hitlers genocide and his views on other ethnic groups, in my opinion, it's completely stupid and waste of human resources.
Mhmm, what else can I say about myself I guess I'm quite an anti-social person I like to just close myself and be left alone while immersing myself in novels sometimes for as long as 1 month.
I mean sure I got some friends back from my 1 grade in school but I never really reach out to them first.
They always the first one to reach out to me then they do most of the time it's to celebrate our birthdays so we do we drink eat barbequed meat smoke its always good times when we do but after were done celebrating our birthdays I always shut myself and distance myself from people. 
Again most likely because of my personality I'm still a virgin and I never had a girlfriend sure I tried a few times to get myself a girlfriend but it always ended in failure for some reason I just don't have the chemistry with women, of course, I don't swing the other way I mean I do love 2d girls and hentai is the best for me porn really doesn't interest me at all after I discovered the thing called hentai.

The reason for it is that for some reason all of my sells one day decided to go haywire and because of that I got diagnosed with the latest stage of cancer the way I look and my current body condition is the same as Deadpool's. 
Basically, my body became one giant cancer so the doctors gave a bunch of pills which only stop me from feeling any pain and told all I got left 1 week at the worst-case scenario and 1 month at best case scenario.
Also, they kept pestering me that after I die I willingly give them my body to let them disacte me they said it's for the good of humanity and all other bunch filosofical stuff of how with my noble and noteworthy sacrifice I can help save people and progress medical knowledge.
Well, I guess what they're saying is true because my cancer case is first in the world as far as I know but at that time I didn't want to hear anything about it so I swallowed a bunch of the pills they gave me and left without saying anything.
Well I mean can you blame me think about what would you do if you suddenly got told that you got 1 moth tops left to live and besides I wasn't too keen on the idea of letting a bunch of unknown people doing anything they want with my body I've seen enough of movies especially of the umbrella corporation I don't want for some evil corporation buying my body and making me into a mindless zombie to start a zombie apocalypse.
So after I left the hospital already high on frugs which they gave me I decided what to do with what's left of my time.
First I went to the store-bought alcohol food cigarettes after I packed my car full of what I bought I sat in my car and started downloading all the latest nightcores games tv-shows movies serials novels manga anime hentai into my USB through my phone.
After I was done doing that and my USB was almost full I opened my cars door walked to the trashcan and threw my phone into it.
Then I drove to my cabin in the woods I destroyed everything that can connect me to the outside world inserted my USB into my stationary computer started my nigtcore playlist opened alcohol light my self a cigarette and started living in full mode otaku while munching on food and chugging down drugs at this point I can pretty much be considered a bonafide drug addict.
I only slept then my body would shut down by itself from overextension I actually am still officially serving in the army and didn't report to the military nor anyone else close to me because really what do I care if the military charges me with desertion what's the worst they cand do to me I'm the last stage cancer patient whos got 1 month tops.
I mean sure they can find me easily if they want to but frankly, I don't give a fuck and most likely what they'd do is just discharge me dishonorably and throw me out to the streets there's no way in hell they are going to bother with a lost cause as me as for my friends I don't feel any need for them to know that I'm gonna be dead soon.
So it's been exactly 1 week since I got the death notice from the doctors and actually, today is my birthday I'm 29 years old and most likely today is the day then ill kick the bucket I don't know why but for some reason I know that today is the day.
So I'm having my last super as you would call it only for me its alcohol and nicotine while listening to my favorite nightcore Hellsing Ultimate AMV - This is Deutsch.
Now you might think that I'm not scared of dying at all but the truth is I'm scared as fuck from the day I understood that one-day il die so the fear of death became my paranoia I never want to die because I am afraid of my existence ending that's why I guess subcionsasly I always wanted to be a vampire who can live for eternity and also because of that I am an atheist I completely reject religion and can't accept that God made me a mortal.
I stared into the full moon and I can't help but wish that I would be like those mc in novels who after death get to go to another world and have a second chance at life and achieve something in life.
I took another breath of the cigarette I am smoking breathed out the smoke and sighed.
What am I thinking there's no such thing as a ticket to another world well even if there was I sure as hell won't be the lucky one to get selected.
I mean I'm an average joe in everything even though I spent 10 years in the military I never killed anyone and I might not even be able to as for my otaku knowledge well I can boast that I have at least some more fantasy knowledge than normal people which could help in a fantasy world at least I would be able to recognize a goblin then I see one.
But there's no fucking way I'm some kinda hidden genius who can make an airplane from scratch well at least for most primitive gunpowder and at least the earliest hot weapons with a few advanced modifications I could make that but if someone could truly bring someone from another world then magic in that world must be scary as fuck and muskets and cannonballs won't be able to compete with magic at all.
So if someones gonna take someone from this world to a fantasy world they're sure as hell not gonna pick me whos walking cancer without super fast regeneration whos one leg in a grave they're either gonna pick a superman or doctor stone if they want to defeat a demon king or something.
As I finished that thought suddenly I started losing my vision and I could feel my body starting fall to the ground. So this is it I thought. As I was gradually losing my consciousness I heard a voice in my head.

Alex Barton is a normal down to Earthman, well not so normal because he wastes most of his time in anime, manga, and novels.
          Right now he is 22 years old and because of his poor grades, he couldn't get a good job for himself. He didn't even think about studying even further. His family is considered of 4 members his father, mother, and his big sister who is a lot more accomplished than he is.
          His elder sister, Ava, is a Doctor and a very good Doctor at that. His mother Mai runs a restaurant while his father Barton owns a little company whose net worth is a total of 1 Million USD.
          All in all his family was very well off and his father has even opened up a Convenience Store for him so that he doesn't waste his time at home. 
           Alex can be considered a little fat, his face is just average and he isn't good at studies. Because of these things he never had any girlfriend. While this thing makes him depressed but he isn't willing to change himself.
          "Thanks!! please come again", said Alex to the customers and began closing the store. Today only the two workers that work at his Convenience Store have taken a day off.
           Well, they were both in a relationship and they decided to go on a vacation. After closing the store, he decided to walk back home. His house wasn't that far away from his store. Although it was night time, tonight was a full moon night so he can see everything very clearly.
         After walking for no more than 8 minutes he reached home his house. It was a double story house and was a good looking one at that. The place he lived in was an area where the middle-class people lived. 
          He opened and said, "I am home...". But before he could finish he saw his big sister coming out of the bathroom after taking a bath only in a towel. And when his sister saw him looking at her she only cast him an angry glare and then walked towards her room.
          He and his sister never get along well as long as he can remember. At first, they have a good relationship but because of her always having good grades and he himself wasn't that good at studies so his parents wanted him to follow his sister's footsteps.
          Because of that, he starts to distance himself from his sister and even starts to make her life a little difficult. But that was until one day his sister came to his room when he was 17 or maybe older and said to him, "Enough is enough".
          Although they didn't talk much, he knows that his sister was very angry at him this time. So after that, he didn't even look in her eyes and they started to drift away.
          It was already 10:00 pm and both parents were sleeping so he directly walked towards his room which was on the second floor. His and his sister's room both were very close to each other.
          When he walked past his sister's room he couldn't hear a single voice which meant that she was sleeping or just ignored him like always. Every time he walks past his sister's room the only thing he heard is silence and his sister who was a late nighter would sleep early because of his fight with her six months ago.
          At that time his results were out and because he didn't have any good numbers, he was having a bad day and trying to forget about it. But due to some noises of music coming out of his sister's room he started yelling at her.
           Although before this, his sister would talk to him sometimes but after this fight, it was like they don't even live in the same house.
          Hearing the silence he sighed and walked towards his room and closed the door of his room with a boom! The moment he closed his door the door of his sister's room opened and his sister Ava looked a little at his room for a moment and then walk out, nobody knows what was going through her head.
          After coming inside his room he directly walked towards his bed and just as he was about to sleep suddenly a voice sounded in his head.

[Ding! The world (with living) 129639748 of galaxy 276392 has been confirmed to have reached the minimum requirement to become a part of the Ascension System.]

[Ding! Selecting 7 peoples from all around the world 129639748 to take part in Trial Land and determine the fate of World 129639748 also known as Earth by the people of the world.]

           While when Alex heard a voice in his, head he tried his best to open his eyes but to his shock, he could move a single inch of his body. But then another notification sounded in his head and he can now even see this notification.

[Ding! The selected 7 only have 7 days of Earth time to prove that their world is worthy to become a part of the Ascension System]

           Just then suddenly Alex feels something around him is changing and when he opened his eyes he saw that there were a lot of trees around him and it seems that right now he was inside a Forest. Once again a voice sounded in his head.

[Ding! Every single chosen of Earth has to complete 10 quests and if one of the users has completed his/her quests ahead of time he/she can help other chosen to complete their quests and thus increasing the chances of Earth becoming a part of the Ascension System]

[Ding! The first objective kills hundred Demonic bats in a nearby cave, for further information user must unlock his status. Way to unlock Status Kill and type of Monster, beast or Animal in Trial Land]

           After that notification, he first starts to panic because right now he was inside some kind of forest and he didn't even know how he got here. The first thought that comes to his mind was that this is just a dream and he tried every single way to wake up but it didn't work at all.
Then his Otaku senses took over him and he started to see everything from a different perspective. Right now he is in a strange forest. Perhaps he transmigrated to some fantasy world but then he remembers the notifications that sounded in his head.
          After thinking long and hard for ten minutes, he finally comes to a few conclusions. First of all this Ascension System is some kind of System that will help their world become powerful like some novels. Secondly, right now he is one of the seven chosen that will determine the fate of the Earth meaning if all of the seven chosen completely these 70 quests then their Earth will change and become a fantasy World.
           But then a thought crosses his mind (If the World turns into a fantasy world then there will be danger all over the world and there is no guarantee that humans can become strong after becoming a part of this Ascension system. Can I sacrifice whole humanity just to complete my own fantasy?
            But what if we humans are always in danger of being destroyed by some aliens. Can I take responsibility for every human?)
             After thinking about it he started to consider: Should he do as the system told him? Because he knows that although anime, manga, and novels don't show the dark side of the world the fantasy world is a very messed up place.

one day he was going to his sister's wedding and was in a car accident at that moment his life flashed before his eyes and he realized that he did nothing with his life, although he didn't believe in a god he preyed at that moment if he survive he would do better and then nothing but silence . 
Jack could not move, talk, see or hear anything so he thought he was in a coma his consciousness kept drifting he was panicked at first but then started to accept what happened to him, and lost his consciousness again then he woke up and this kept on for a while .
Until one time he stared to feel again but lost his consciousness before he can understand anything, one day he finally understood the he was in the whom he was reincarnated, months past and he was shocked about what he can hear from the talk of magic to Voldemort he knew he was in J. K. Rowling's Harry Potters world .
knowing this he attempt to feel the magic but couldn't he thought since at least one of his parents was a wizard or a witch so he was a squib he was sad but at least he had his brain . 
after a while he knew the name of his parents and was shocked again he was the son of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy he didn't like them in the novels but this was a good news to him since he was 90% sure he was Draco so he started feeling the magic again but before he could the contractions started h tried to help but couldn't so he let nature take its course .
The first thing he felt was cold then someone smacking is butt so he cursed "f@#k you you asshole " but than came out of his mouth was "waaawhaa" then he heard someone say "congratulations Ms Malfoy its a healthy boy" then they handed him over to his mother she was tired but wanted to hold him then said "my little boy you are going to be the best wizard in the world " and looked at Lucius "come see our son" Lucius came and said "you are the pride of Malfoy your name shall be Draco Malfoy everyone shall know your name "and as if he agreed Jack smiled and thought 'from this day on i will be Draco and i will be the best wizard this world has ever seen' the he drifted asleep .

Cain was surrounded by nothing but white void.

No matter what direction he looked...all he could see was the vast white nothingness.

"Ok...what the fuck is going on?" Cain asked to no one in particular.

To Cains disbelief...a voice actually responded to his question.

"I'm afraid to say that...you have died young man."

"Who said that!?" Cain yelled as he swung his head around trying to find the owner of the voice.

"No matter how hard you look, you won't be able to find me." The mysterious voice said after watching Cain wildly swing his head around trying to locate him.

Despite his best efforts...Cain was unsuccessful in finding the owner of the voice, proving what the voice previously to be true.

Once Cain had accepted that he won't be able to locate the owner of the voice...he started to calm down and start to rationally think about the situation he was in.

He once again scanned the area he was in. He looked to the left...and saw nothing but white. He looked to the right...and still only saw white. He looked up and down, and just as he suspected...he only saw white.

He thought about the words the voice had spoken, and pinpointed on a specific line that bothered him.

"What do you mean I'm dead?"

"It means exactly what it sounds...you died. You no longer belong in the land of the living."

It took a minute for the voices words to really sink in.

'You died'

Once he finally comprehended what that line meant...Cain was a lot calmer than he thought he would be.

Cain felt that if he had figured out he had just died...he would've almost definitely been freaking out, yet he wasn't.

"Hey...why am I so calm? I mean...I just found out that I'm dead...I feel like I should be more emotional than I actually am."

"The reason you are so calm is because I am forcefully calming you. We would be here for a lot longer than necessary if you were to have an emotional breakdown."

While what the voice said was reasonable...Cain focused in on a particular part of what the voice said.

"Be here...I are implying that I won't stay in this void?"

"Yeah...you will be reincarnated."

Cain couldn't believe it. Reincarnation. He had seen many different types of media explore this concept...mainly novels on the web.

Despite how often it came up in the novels he read and the shows he watched...Cain still found it hard to believe that such a thing existed.

While Cain had indeed partaken in the fantasy of reincarnating into a different word quite a few times...they had just been that...a fantasy.

Now being presented with actual reincarnation...Cain simply didn't know how to react.

"If it makes it easier for you to digest...you can think of it like those novels you had read when you were alive."

"So you are saying that I'm going to get reincarnated into a fantasy world?"

"Well not exactly..."

Cain was confused.

"Didn't you just say that it would be like those reincarnation novels that I saw...what do you mean I'm not getting reincarnated into a fantasy world?"

"What kind of differences?" Cain asked...even more confused.

"Well...unlike those novels...you won't choose where you go. I also won't choose where you go, but the process isn't random."

"How does it work then?"

Well...I will scan your memories, experiences, and personality to see what impacted your life the most. I will then send you to a world that correlates to my discoveries."

Cain mulled over the voices words until he felt that he understand what he was being told.

"So what you're saying...is that you will find what had the largest impact on my life...and then you will send me to a world based on that knowledge?"

"Exactly!"

"Okay...then go ahead and do the scan...I want to reincarnate as soon as possible."

"Do you have any questions before we begin the process?...do you want to know how you died?...or maybe you want to know what happened to your loved ones?"

"No...knowing how I died won't benefit me at all. I also don't want to know what happened to them...on that thought...I also don't want to remember them either. I don't want to carry that type of emotional baggage with me into my next life."

"How cold..."

Cain chose to ignore the voices remark and braced himself for the scan. He was mentally prepared for whatever will come his way.

"Well...I'm starting the scan...now!"

Contrary to what Cain thought...there wasn't anything dramatic that happened during the scan. The only notable thing to have happened was a slight feeling of itchiness to run over the entirety of his body. But even that only lasted a few seconds.

"Okay...I have sorted everything that I found, and I think I have the perfect world for you. Congratulations...you will be going to the world of-"

"I'm going to stop you right there."

Despite not having anything to go off by...Cain could still feel the shock the voice had at being interrupted.

"I'm sorry?"

"I don't want to know where I will be going. All I want you to do is send me to my new world while letting me keep any important information that may help me survive and thrive in my new home."

"...haah...fine. You will retain the information regarding important events that will happen within the world you are being sent to."

"Good."

Thinking that there was nothing left to talk about, I was fully prepared to be reincarnated into this new world. I was very interested in what this new world will be like, and I just couldn't help but get all excited over what the future will good for me.

"Oh one more thing..."

"Hm?"

"I have also given you an ability."

"What is the ability?"

"The ability is random, so even I don't know what ability you have gotten."

"Then how will I know how to use it if even you don't know what it is?"

"Don't worry...the information regarding on what and how to use the ability will be automatically implanted into your mind once you reincarnate. Although...the ability will be dormant for a few years."

"Why is that?"

"Your body and mind will need to grow and adjust in order to handle the ability. This is a safety measure to make sure you don't implode because your body and mind couldn't handle the ability."

"That makes sense I guess..."

"So now that all of that is out of the way...are you ready to finally reincarnate into your new world?"

Instead of answering, Cain simply nodded...hoping that the voice had someway of seeing the movement.

"Good...well then...this will be the last time you will ever hear from me. I sincerely hope that you thoroughly enjoy your new life."

Thankfully...it seemed that the voice could in fact see Cain.

Cain started to feel weird, and when he looked down at his hands...he saw them slowly start to dissipate. Swing himself literally start to disappear, Cain felt a wave of panic wash over him.

"Hey...is this supposed to happen?!"

"Yes. Your soul is being dragged from this place, and being sent to your new world."

Even after the voices reassurances...Cain still felt uneasy as he continued to fade away.

Cain looked around the white void one last time, before he completely disappeared...never to return to this plane of existence ever again.
