Dear Readers,
My name is Vishal. Officially, I am an Otaku. Having read over 500 Manga, Manhua & Manhwa and over 50 Light & Web Novels I was often disappointed by the lack of common sense in plots. I would rather prefer weak characters with common sense rather than stronger but dumb ones.
I found that most of the times, the author would let the Main Characters behave make dumb decisions because if they made the smart decisions, the story would end, then and there. Some commonly used cliches, that could leads to longer plots but feel contrary to common sense are-
1. Male Lead letting a Villain/Evil Character go without killing or crippling him/her because of goodness of his/her heart; only for the Villain to retaliate later and Main Character ends up killing/crippling them anyway. This is why I like those Main Characters who kill them immediately while explaining, "If I kill you, your clan/family would chase me for killing you. If I let you go, you and your clan/family would still chase me. So why should I let you go?" [PS I am not talking about cases where a proper explanation is given for letting the Villain live.]
2. Talking during the battle. I mean seriously? You have time to leisurely chat with the allies or the enemies in the midst of the battle, really? When they are fighting 100 moves in a couple of seconds, they converse like having the time of their lives.
3. The villain is much more powerful than the Main Character, yet the Main Character wouldn't sneak attack. He will take a stance, do a lengthy conversation about how he will defeat him although he is weak. I mean seriously? Wouldn't you attack directly without giving an opponent any chances? Isn't this Battle 101? Sometimes, this happens even when the Opponent has taken a lover or a family member as a hostage. This really drives me crazy!
4. You hide your powers and dual identity from your opponents and the world. Good thing. But why would you do that to your immediate family, best friend and lover? To protect them? How does hiding it protect them? They think that the Main Character is weak and go through more trouble. The Main Character then has to come and save the day anyway. How does telling them your real powers put them in danger? Are the villains going to interrogate them using truth serum? This is never explained properly. I guess it started with Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne.
5. Why would you hide your past from your lover only to over complicate things? Lets take the novel Lucia for example, both Lucia and Duke Taran have secrets. They don't tell it to each other initially, so that it may not affect their relationship, but guess what? Hiding the secret destroys their relationship. The plot is all about how they finally open up to each other. Well the problem could have been solved if they were honest form the beginning. The plots themselves involve and promote this. PS: I am a fan of the Novel Lucia. If you disregard all the smut and lack of common sense clichés the main story is wonderful.
6. Why would you hide the fact that your new buddy is actually your childhood friend? And even watch and evil villain impersonate you? Isn't this stupid? Just for plot development? Why not just tell them?
7. Why would you ever give in to any Blackmail and end up doing even worse things? Don't you know evil people never keep their promises?
8. Why would you let a Communication Gap create a misunderstanding that continue for years and that set the lovers apart only to reunite after 5 years after clearing the said misunderstanding?
9. Why would you hide that you are being bullied from your parents or teachers? Isn't it normal to take action or approach elders?
10. When you transmigrate into a novel or a game, the plot has already changed because of your very existence. Still, when things start Deviating from what you know (mostly because you acted out of character) why would you wonder about story changing? Isn't it obvious for it to change? Also, when you transmigrate, you are in a real world already. it is the new reality. Wouldn't it make sense for you to change things up for your benefit?
11. When you time travel, you have the knowledge of many events that will take place. Why would you wait for minor villains to plot against you exactly like the previous timeline and work to thwart their plans? Isn't it better to be proactive and prudent and destroy them from the beginning?
12. Why would Main Characters always act alone, especially in Cultivation and Fantasy Novels? Why can't they join or get backing of powerful clans? Why not make allies and use them?
Honestly, it felt more like that the authors could have used the common sense, but then the story wouldn't proceed to hundreds or thousands of chapters! Even then, like other readers, I read them all till the end. Because, despite their lack of common sense at times, once you get attached to a particular character or a story, it is almost impossible to let it go. This is the era of Binge Reading and Binge Watching anyway.
Thus, Elated with few and Frustrated with many, I decided to write my own stories. And posted initial chapters of few short stories on my personal blog. Got some good response.
Then, one of the readers of my personal blog told me about WebNovel and I ended up joining it on 22nd December 2020. Luckily, it was running some contests and their themes aligned with my thoughts. So, I ended up participating in the various contests with multiple entries.
"God Parshuram's Dystopian University" is one such entry with the theme of the Male Lead being coming out of seclusion after years, only to find that the world has now turned into a Dystopia. What will do to Survive and help others Survive?
So I came up with "God Parshuram's Dystopian University", where the Main Character is the Legendary Teacher of the Great Warriors Bheeshma & Karna from Mahabharata. He is Super powerful but is impatient and has severe anger management issues. Plus he has to adjust to the Modern society..
This is going to be about  Mutants, Corona Virus, Gods, Science Fiction with a pinch of Mythology and Humor. For those who love these themes, lets go on a Ride.
Anyway, if you are here, that means you have the intention to read this. At the very least you are trying to make up your mind. So if you want an Intelligent plot with smart Main Character (or at least a Main Character with common sense), feel free to read my novels.
You will find references to many Historical, Legendary, Mythical figures and places. The Parallel world Fantasy allows us to fit people of different eras into one era.

Those words caused Hal's lips to twitch.
"So, you mean to say that I have been recruited to what? Spy?" Hal asked.
Eva sighed,  
"Not exactly. YOU were not recruited. I'm guessing the princess decided that you were too weak to go through the ordeals so she settled for having you join the selection and becoming a part of the Royal Academy.
We were only supposed to keep an eye out and once you were seen, report back to her so she could offer you assistance."
What kind of assistance?" Hal asked but it was Camira who answered,  
"A sound cultivation technique, cultivation resources. Really, anything that would give you a fighting chance.  
After all, should you attempt to be a student at the academy, you will be up against geniuses. The best of their sects." She said.
"The best of their sects. Does that mean...?" Hal began but Camira replied to his incomplete question,  
"...that the best of the sects will only be a white-robed student? Yes, that is exactly what it means.
It is why no one dares to look down on any student of the royal academy no matter what robe they wear. The other robes are more like privileges and usually have nothing to do with superior strength.
That said, white-robed students still strive to become the best and that is signified by the best to robe of them all; The Green robe."
Hal eyed the sisters,  
"Which robes were you?" He asked as Camira sat down with a stressful sigh while Eva chuckled,  
"We were never students at the academy. We were never talented enough for that.  
Now back to you. With your current strength, you are more than qualified to be recruited which is why it is so suspicious.
If the princess deemed that you were not strong enough for recruitment merely two months ago, how could you have possibly overcome all of that so soon?" She asked.
Hal smiled lightly,  
"Perseverance" he said.
Camira snorted,  
"Nonsense. It is much more likely that you are from the Dystopian continent and hid your cultivation before. Meeting the princess, I admit might have been a coincidence you did not plan." She said.
Hal sighed,  
"I am not from the Dystopian continent and if you have the time to and patience, you can send word to Sapphire city and they will tell you who I am.
You have no reason to distrust me.
Also, your 'Princess' searched me the day we met and ascertained my age. If she did not find anything amiss, then I don't see why you even bother.
Don't tell me you actually hope to find something she missed."
The two looked uncomfortable.
Did they really hope to discount the Princess's assessment?
Not to mention that they could not bear to hold a candle to her strength, her age and expertise were beyond them as well.
Hal took advantage of the silence and the lapse to pat Eva's hand affectionately,  
"It's okay. You don't have to look so worried." He said and stood up from his chair.
Eva looked confused,  
"Why would we be worried?" She asked.
Hal shrugged but said nothing as he walked behind Camira's chair and placed his hands on the lady's shoulders.
It was as though it was magic touch as Camira felt all of the stress and ache she had been feeling as of recent suddenly relieve her.
"Ahhhhh"
She let out a long sigh of contentment while Hal rubbed and massaged her shoulder blades for a while before stopping,  
"I thought you would be worried I would relay this all back to the 'Princess'. If that is the case, you don't have to worry.  
I don't wish to be part of any recruitment and in four months, who knows? I might not even join the selection.
Just relax..." He said and gave Camira's shoulder a few more rubs before leaving it completely.
Camira's hands flew up and she held his hands down to her shoulder,  
"That was nice. Don't stop" she said.
Hal made to pull his hand away,  
"No I think I'd much rather leave" he said.
Camira held his hands,  
"No, continue. I insist."
"You really like those words, Don't you?" Hal said and continued to rub her shoulders.
"Mmnnngghhh" Camira moaned and leaned back in her chair and more into Hal's hands.
Eva watched it all and could already feel herself getting flushed as the ache of arousal slowly set in.

Meanwhile...
The party continued and Baron Aaro continued to greet and converse with dignitaries with only a few of them asking where the Baroness was, politely of course.
Aaron evaded the question politely as well while directing their attention to political matters of the Barony and request their help to always keep his seat.
The most adamant of the dignitaries was Lady Penelope who did not particularly feel at ease with Hal being gone at the same time as the Baroness and her sister.
She worried that Hal was being punished at that moment and demanded the Baron tell her where his wife was.
"What is this really about? Is it that Blue-eyed young man?" The Baron eventually said in an exasperated tone.
Lady Penelope sneered,  
"Glad you're catching up."
The Baron sighed heavily,  
"Lady Penelope, I assure you that he is fine. There are just certain things we need to ask him. While I cannot assure you that he will return to the party, I can however tell you that he will be alright. So long as he has nothing to hide." He said.
Lady Penelope glared and walked away from him and back to her guard/escort.
At that time, Henrik returned to the party hall looking quite well other than the occasional stagger in his movements.
Soon, he was at his brother's side and groaned in annoyance when people with either pity or amusement in their gaze.
"Are you alright?" Aaro asked and Henrik nodded.
"Nothing wounded but my pride" hr said.
Aaro's eyes narrowed,  
"Mind telling me what happened. You seemed to freeze in place."
Henrik frowned in concentration as though to remember what had happened but other than a Dark shadow of fear, there was nothing he could remember, and knowing that it must have been Hal's doing did not help matters at all.
Eventually, he shook his head,  
"I'm as clueless as you are. Where is the little bastard anyway?"
The Baron smiled proudly and seemed to pull himself up as his handsome face lit up,  
"Camira and Eva are interrogating him" he said.
Henrik turned towards his brother sharply,  
"Why would you let Eva join in? She has a soft spot for him." He said which was kind of a stretch considering the duo only met the day before.
Aaro chuckled,  
"That was all an act. Camira has filled me in. The Imperial Princess Tanya seems to be looking for him."
Henrik's eyes widened and Aaro nodded in satisfaction at his brother's reaction before adding,  
"So as you can see, it's a big deal."
Henrik nodded.  
That it was a big deal was an immense understatement. This was a humongous deal. The chain of command from imperial power to Barony was so far that people such as them were not as important as an ant in the presence of imperial pedigree.
"I'll keep watch. I won't let anyone get inside and interrupt." Henrik said and made to walk away when Aaro grabbed his arm,  
"That includes Brother. You must not interrupt them."
Henrik nodded and was gone in seconds.


There are three realms in the multi verse; The Cosmic, the Mortal and the Nether realm.
Hal grew up in the mortal realm with no idea whatsoever of who his parents were.
His love for relics, adventure and the occasional danger would aid him in finding a genie's lamp.

Rubbing a genie's lamp should grant three wishes, but Hal is struck by lightening instead and eventually arrives in the Cosmic realm with a large book in his mind space titled; The Primordial Cosmic Grimiore, that apparently holds all knowledge for a perpetual reign.

And so Hal's journey begins in a little city called Salmon city, in the body of a 17 year old boy also named Hal but was sold into slavery by his own father.

Hal finds out who his mother (prior to reincarnation) whose bloodline now flows unmixed in his new body is....

Join Hal as he battles mortals, Dragons, phoenixes, Gods and many more together with his harem of Beauties for the complete subjugation of the three realms.

So this is an original novel and I am giving it my all and I hope you give it a chance.

The First twenty chapters (more or less) were not quite good but that is because they were the first I ever wrote so please read till chapter 30 at least before deciding if it is not for you.
It really gets better eventually.

"No doubt, he's going to be late again."

He pulled the cuff up on his left arm to check the time. It's already seven twenty-five, only five minutes left before the meeting time. Heaving a sigh, Leon slumped his back and just walked off the pathway to look for a place where he can stay and wait. Seeing the benches around the area, he chose a table with two folding chairs with a dark parasol for a shade and quickly occupied the seat.

Leon took the black Tote bag off his shoulders and carefuly placed it to the table. From the inside, he took out his laptop and opened it immedeately. One soft press on the power button and the screen opened. While waiting for it to finish powering up, a lady in a uniform of white button shirt with long sleeves with cuffs freely opened and a black sleek apron tied around her waist approached him. She is holding a writing pad.

"What is your order sir," the lady asked in a practiced high energetic voice. 

"Any recommendations?"

The lady listed out the best of their store. Knowing that it is still morning, it would be weird if Leon order some candy colored drinks so he just only ordered coffee with some treats. The lady goes off after bowing, returned to the shop to attend another set of costumers. Now, the laptop finally logged in. 

Reaching out the bag, Leon fished in his hand to search for the bluetooth mouse that he quickly found. Next to it is a cinch bag in a size of his palms. He connected the mouse through the wireless connection and plugged in the broadban. The loading cursor appeared with the connection set-up appearing after. He completed the process and just by that he is now connected to the internet. 

Leon moved the mouse around and pointed the cursor to an animated shortcut icon. Clicking it twice, a window appeared to confirm his identity. In this window, a password bar plus the logo of the copyright showed to which he quickly filled-up. Hitting the [ENTER] key processed the inputted characters.

Click.

The whole screen went black. 

The lady returned with the order. Leon thanked him and proceeded on looking at the monitor. Anyone not familiar with this black screen will surely freak out. But Leon knows that in this type of game, things like blacking out only means that it is booting up. 

It only took a minute before the welcoming message appeared, with the company's logo and team coming after, ending with the site's title and added animations. His eyes glinted upon seeing the familiar interface giving him a warm rush on his chest.

Dystopian Tales Online

Leon took a sip of his coffee. He typed in his username and password. The game recognized his account and the loading screen appeared. Leon leaned on the chair while waiting for the loading bar to finish, then a group of students found him resting and approached him.

"Good morning," a guy with the light colored hair greeted him. The people around him greeted Leon as well. "Oh, where's Shin?" 

"Still not here. I'm sure he overslept again," Leon sighed.

"Well, obviously. That guy really isn't a morning person," the guy laughed. One of his friends looked at the screen of the laptop and found an interesting view.

"Whoa, I never thought that you're also playing DTO," a guy with an eyeglasses talked this time. 

"Really? That's cool," one agreed.

"Yeah, I've been playing this game for years now," Leon honestly said. "You guys are also players?"

"I played it in junior high and high school," the same glasses guy responded. "But I occasionaly play it now. Though, I wonder when will they release a new server."

"I think it's been two years, no? Man, it's been long since that game updated."

The guys chatted him about the game but Leon barely listened. Of course, he know the reason why there are no new servers after all of these years. 

Eight years ago, Dystopian Tales Online was released. In the same time, Virtual Reality is also implemented. Leon is one of the participants of this inside-game as one of the second string players. Properly oriented and discussed, it is said that in order for the project to collect the proper amount of data, they needed to have at least five hundred players to play it. 

On the sixth year of the release, they reached the five hundred player quota. 

"But this game is still cool though. If only I have a lot of time, I will play it all day and become a pro," one chanted.

"How can you become a pro, dude? You don't have high APM."

Due to the demand of the game, gaming clubs and associations also has risen, turned DTO a sport. As of now, monthly tournaments and annual championships are held across the world. No wonder everyone wanted to become a pro-player. You will earn money from just playing within these clubs and also the fame of being the strongest. 

In this world where violence is forbidden, this is sure a great diversion. 

The bell rang for the start of the second class of the day. The students who have classes on the second period prepared for their classes. Some of them who are staying in the cafeteria said goodbyes to their peers who have later classes. This includes the people who are talking with Leon.

"Uh-oh, we got to go now," one of them said.

"Sure," Leon said.

"Let's play the game next time. I bet your level is very high."

Leon just left that last phrase and waved his hand. A crowd accumulated to the area for a while. Students are found running going in their classes while some are casually leaving the buildings going to their respective lives. Leon looked over at his watch again but the person he is waiting is still nowhere close in sight. 

"I wonder if he's already awake now," he sighed.

Leon decided to enter some dungeon or complete some quest while waiting for his friend. From the requirement needed for the Virtual Reality to open, it is impossible for Leon to play this game. That is why cards are given to VR players. Through this card, they can enter the DTO during the day. 

Some players wanted to play during the day so while Virtual Reality is under maintainance, they only have to type in the ID and password that appears before the game starts to have their characters be transported from VR to DTO. EXP in both games are recorded as one so there will be no problem in transfering data. 

Leon only played DTO during weekends when there is no school and work. It is his first time opening the game in a weekday. Thanks to that mister late guy and he has to play it now. 

Virtual reality and Dystopian Tales Online both uses the first person perspective. However, the difference in playing DTO is due to the interface and the feeling. Honestly, Leon will admit that playing DTO is harder than VR. Even though he is already familiar with the maps, it's a bit of a hassle to control the mouse plus pressing some commands on the keys just to navigate.

In VR, he only have to turn his head to see the surroundings. 

Leon reached out again for the tote bag and collected his headphones. Now that Shin won't be arriving anytime, he decided to test out some spells or play with some DTO players. Another thing, Virtual Reality players are actually playing with DTO players. They are in the same servers. The only difference is the feeling of experience in playing the game. 

Wearing the headphones, the outside sounds gradually vanished replaced by a medieval-fantasy sound music. Leon closed his eyes, listening to the score for a while. And when he opened his eyes, the world that he know is different appeared. The numbers that he closed in the neutral ground appeared in a fast paced, calculating, showing the values of beauty.

When technological advancement created the norms of the world, people had fallen to the age where peace occupied every nation. With the fear of stagnation, humans developed many games to simulate worlds that somehow substituted as their 'fighting grounds'.

However, a certain game was developed that caused a rift amongst all the games. Only players whose IQ had reached a hundred and half above is allowed to play, and said to be the games made for the geniuses.

The game is developed to create the humanities' next step to evolution - and that is opening a portal to the next world.

In his first life, he wasn't allowed to get proper education because of his lower status, despite he having the best potential. He diligently learnt Archery on his own and surpassed all the Pupils of the Teacher who had denied him education. The teacher demanded his right hand's 'Thumb' as Tuition fee (since he practiced Archery by watching the teacher from afar) so that he could not practice Archery anymore. He was a Great Warrior but died at the hands of God Krishna, by a Stone thrown at him. Did not even get a Warrior's Death.
In his 2nd life, the same teacher who had denied him education and took away his thumb; killed all his sons except one in a War. He killed his former teacher.
Now, he has been given a third chance to get out of the entanglement and curse that his former teacher has placed on him. So that he can break free of the cycle of reincarnation and become an Eternal Immortal. However, the King of Heavenly Deities has specified a task for him. And for that, he will be reborn as a Goblin. The lowest of Demons.
Can he Cultivate and move up the realms to reach the Demon King or even Demon Emperor? Can he face up to the challenge? Can he face his former teacher and get out of the Curse and his entanglement from him? Read to find out!

The Core, Third Floor.
 
 
"Quit Yapping and Start Working!" One of the Team Rocket members shouted as he tells one of the enslaved Pokémon. The Pokémon has no choice as they were blown by a whip, it followed the orders and continued to do the slavery it was receiving.
 
 
"Hey, Carson! Can you check Sector 57?" The same Team Rocket member stated as he looks at the novice member as it was keeping an eye out on the Pokémons.
 
 
 
"Sure." Carson followed the orders and walked out of their room and went to the Core's inner hallways. As he walks to the hallways, he was fascinated by how futuristic Dystopian this place can be. It was heavily engineered on the inside and outside even though on the surface it felt like a normal army base at the current time of this world. He tries to shrug his fascination and focus on his job. Even though he hates Team Rocket's ideology, it was a no brainer for him to not join since they are willing to pay his tuition, free meals in the buffet daily, and securing his parents and his future. It was a weird offer from a former Gang group to act like a rich country forming a mandatory military service in exchange for relief packages.
 
 
He opens the door to Sector 57, he comes in but by a mistake, he left the door open. Sector 57 is a special library for its leader [Ren], she always goes here for inner peace and does something on her past time than killing innocent kids. He continues to spectate this library for security reasons until he saw a desk with a bunch of papers in it. The lamp desk was on and it was facing towards the papers. Carson looks at it with confusion, he slowly walks toward the desk as he was curious about what the papers might hold. As he continues to walks to the papers, he felt a very weird presence. It felt like the presence was watching him for the entire time, he turns back and noticed there wasn't anyone in the room beside him. He shrugs it off and continued to walk to the papers. As he goes nears it, he saw some handwritten words on the paper.
 
 
"What the…" Carson was shocked as he read some words on the paper.
 
 
 
"December 9th, I felt something was wrong with Ghastly but it seems that he was fine." He read the notes with his mouth.
 
 
"December 10th, I felt like there was a bond between me and Ghastly, but I couldn't tell what it was." He continued to read as he was getting curious about what the notes may bring him some information about his boss, Ren.
 
 
 
"December 11th, It felt like Time has stopped for a brief moment but I couldn't tell if it happened. I don't know if I can consider this as a dream or not. I should tell Sabrina about this. I'm getting worried if this was hurting Ghastly." He continued to read, he felt something weird was watching him and slowly felt something was crawling towards them. He was confused about what Ren was talking about but his curiosity was getting the best of him as he continues to flip the pages to find some answers. While flipping as he tries to find some answers, his mouth was covered by small feminine hands that are enough to cover his mouth. He was hit on the back and fainted, he slowly fell to the floor with an unconscienced body. "Oi Janine, we should have at least give some precautions." Yoake innocently suggested as his invisibility fades off, the gym leader's invisibility also fades off, and looked at the novice's body.
 
 
 
"You're right." Janine agreed as she looks at her mistake. While she was looking at the novice, the trainer looked at the papers on the table. He listened to the novice's voice as he read the papers earlier.
 
 
 
"What do you think this means?" Yoake asked in curiosity as he looks at the papers. Janine looked at the papers soon after and saw the handwritten notes that Ren has written.
 
 
 
"is this… Ren's diary?" Janine asked as she uttered the words in her mouth. Yoake looked at it once more and noticed that there was a signature for each paper and those signatures are the same.
 
 
 
"No shit Sherlock…" Yoake stated as Janine was surprised that they found a key that would help them know what is Ren's intention to all of this and possibly, know her next move.
 
 
"Come on. Let's go." Janine said as she hurriedly grabs the papers and hid them in her bag. Yoake followed the gym leader's command and so the two left Sector 57 with the novice on the floor very unconscienced. They went to the hallway and become invisible as they left and began to find other useful resources to find the elevator that connects the third level to the fourth level.
 
 
 
"This is big…" Janine said as she saw how big the core was as they continued to walk through the hallway. Yoake looked at her with confusion, she began to twitch her head as she continues to focus.
 
 
 
"You alright?" Yoake asked the gym leader as he was getting worried about her.
 
 
 
"Yeah… I'm fine." Janine assured the trainer. He wasn't fully convinced that Janine was alright, as he notices Janine was getting out of touch. They continued to walk to the hallway, while walking, they saw the monstrosity of Team Rocket as they saw the slavery of Pokémon and humans in this dystopian base. They tried to ignore all of it but Yoake couldn't bear how despicable this place is. The reached the elevator that connects this floor to the floor below it, they pressed the elevator door and it opened and by surprise, someone was there.
 
 
 
"Oh hello… Janine." The person greeted with a monotone tone as he saw the camouflage of their body. Janine was surprised as the person in front of them was Proton.
 
 
 
"Proton…" Janine growled as she looks at one of the former executives of Team Rocket.
 
 
"long time no see."

Two strings are intertwined and were lock tight by destiny. One brought Glory, One brought Vain; One shall be guided by the Overwhelming past, and One shall be guided by the Unknown future. These two strings will pull the curtains as the stage sets a new play and a new adventure in the world of Monsters

J B was peacefully enjoying his life at the Supreme Villa. He was biding his time to put his plan against Yin Tianqi in action. After he had considered all scenarios, he concluded the best plan of all the options he could think off.
After than he decided to go to work, but checked the news as per his newly formed habit. It was important to keep up to date with the current happenings of the world so that he is not caught unprepared by any ripple effects or butterfly effects he may have caused by recreating the Universe at the time he was transported to the Veridian Planet in his Second Life.
This third life to him, was a reward he gave himself for working so hard in his First and Second Lives. Hence, he wanted to eliminate any potential troubles that might block his path to a peaceful and joyful life.
He first looked the Local News, it was covered with his Supreme Enterprises' growth and what it meant for other businesses. Then he looked at the Nation News and it was all political so he just skipped it. Politics to him was children playing and arguing about who gets to have the chocolate.
He smiled and continued to switch through channels and when he finally arrived at a foreign channel, he saw something inconceivable. Aliens had attacked the Nation of Hindostaan. 
Hindostaan was one of the nations with its history dating back to the Pre-Ancient Era when the war between the Ancient Gods and the Ancient Demons took place.
It was one of those Modern Nations that had pride in its heritage and cultural background. To J B's knowledge, Hindostaan wasn't technologically that advanced, neither it possessed any Great Cultivators in the present day. There may be hidden ones like the sects in Central Heaven but J B wasn't aware of them in his previous life.
J B was puzzled. He thought about it for a while.
He thought, "The ripple effect should be distinguished from the 'butterfly effect', a term from chaos theory, which stipulates that a small action in a complex system can be amplified and produce large effects elsewhere in the system. 
Therefore, changes in global problems such as pollution, poverty, corruption, systemic ignorance can be explained by the ripple effect. But this Alien Attack is definitely not because of me. Then what could it be? I guess I should go and take a look!"
J B then teleported to the place shown in News.

Chief Minister Yogi Suryanaath was having an emergency meeting.
Chief Minister Yogi Suryanaath asked, "Are they really Aliens?"
"We got a call from Home Ministry, Minister Aparimit Shah called himself. They have confirmed, the invaders are indeed Aliens." Advisor Anoop Chandra informed.
"This is big deal! What do they want from Hindostaan? Can't they just go to Kyna or Amerika or better to those irritating neighbors sharing our borders?"
"Please do not worry, Mr Aparimit Shah told us that the Prime Minister Naresh Modi was already in Amerika, so he already began talks with President Jo Viden as to how to handle the situation." Advisor Anoop Chandra informed.
At this time the Spaceship that hovered over the river Ganga announced in the local language Awadhi, "Dear Friends from Hindostaan, we do not mean any harm, we have come here from afar in search of a possession of the Chancellor of our University. 
Once we get that we will return. We do not mean to disturb your lives. We will leave peacefully when we find what we are looking for."
The announcement was made in a way that it traversed as non-dissipating sound waves that travelled far and wide. Many of the citizens who had not seen the Spaceship (since they were not outside) were baffled. The local news soon transmitted this message. 
Smartphones began ringing non-stop. Everyone who was in Banaras while family was not started getting calls from their family and friends.
Social Media was flooded. Smilebook, Chirper, WhatzUpp, Instapic and all other famous Social Media platform exploded with images, audio and video files.
It was at this moment a voice was heard.
"What do you want?" 
It was J B; who had just arrived. He had heard their transmission as well. He noticed that the Spaceship looked extraordinary. Far more advanced than any he had seen in his previous life.
He could not identify any such civilization present in the Greater World. So he expanded his Supreme Sense to check. The results shocked him. A power much stronger than his own blocked his Supreme Sense.
"Oh, I did not expect a Superior Being to be here" 
A voice was heard.
J B looked at the direction of the voice. It was a bluish figure with 3 fingers on each hand. There were no thumbs. The figure was definitely not human but had a humanoid form. He was followed by a group of people, with humanoid and human-like appearance.
"Who are you?" J B asked. He was annoyed by the appearance of a Being superior to his own.
"My name is Eklavya. I currently reside in Planet Earth of the 'Shoonya' World. As I see you too have been reincarnated. You were original from Earth too." Eklavya declared.
"How do you know that? And why are you here?" J B asked.
"I know because it is my job to know. As to why I am here, I already made an announcement. I am here looking for a possession of my teacher Parshuram, who is also the Chancellor of our University." Eklavya replied.
"And what is that?" asked J B.
"Kaamdhenu!" replied Eklavya.
At this point, the Chief Minister Yogi Suryanaath interjected, "Did you say Kaamdhenu? That mythical wish fulfilling Divine Cow?"
Listening to the Chief Ministers comment, J B almost lost his mind. Aliens are here for a Cow?
 "Are you kidding me? You really want a Cow? That's it?"
"It is not an ordinary Cow. It is a Holy Cow! Although you have the stage of a Superior Being, there are Higher Worlds out there where Beings powerful than you exist. I am one of them. And I am still training to get better. You are just a low level Superior Being. What is there to be so proud of?" Eklavya chided him.
The term 'Higher Worlds' and 'Superior Beings' caught J B's attention. He had finally found what he had been looking for. A New Challenge!

I feel fine right now. Okay, not that fine, maybe leaning just a little to the negative side. I don not know what else to say. I mean I havwe no frustration to let out today. so, there you go. 

But I want to talk about some thought that I once entertained. And it is something really dystopian that I almost always needed to subdue the thought into the deepest recesses of my mind.

And the thought is this, that I somehow, someway, would really just like to see the world burn. And as for why is that? well it probably arose because of the need to give justice to what I feel like life just giving it to you , you know, the lemonest of lemons.

It was a really attractive idea at that time, so attractive in fact once it somehow rooted itself in my head that one time, it invaded real quick and branched out from just the plain 'whys' and 'what ifs' abstract of wanting to watch the world burn, to almost immediately tranforming into the 'hows' and 'what to do to get there' so that the world and civilization as we know it, really do burn to the ground.

Pretty grand delusions for an unemployed gasbag like me. But I seriously did contemplate the ways and means I could possibly achieve that pretty dark thought. And as for what I ideas I had, well if I can just keep it to my self, thank you very much. Even worse I actually thought that if I pursued that really destructive idea to its logical conclusion for real, it was actually really much easier to do than, frankly, trying to work hard and trying to succeed in life. And I seriously felt that at that time.

As you can see whatever I thought at that time never came to fruition clearly, because I am just writing to you about that experience now.

And what made me change my mind on the ideas I have fabricated? Another thought of course.

And it goes something like this, if I burn this world, I did push through somehow, to the ground, and clearly I am also an inhabitant of this world, it would be common sense reasoning that I must also be affected by what happens. But here is the catch, I do not want to be affected nor do I have the means to make sure I am not affected. Therefore the conclusion I landed on was to not harbor the thought pf wanting to see the entire human order burn to the ground.

It's quite a ridiculous experience to be honest, that dark and dangerous thought is still there running around in my head and it's just me trying my best to make sure it does not surface again.
