All in all, they were the complete package one could ask for. This made them one of the most sought after mercenary squad in the world. Their completion rate was also one of the best in the business, about 90 percent. Out of all the missions, they had partaken they had failed only once.

She did not know a kept resignation in her files becomes handy until a while ago.
She just put an end to her four year job!
And what hurt more is putting an end to her friendship of eight years because apparently, Mutya, her best friend, is the girlfriend for half a year now of their boss who happens to be her long-time crush, yes, the same person and only her best friend, Mutya, knows that.
She really felt so well played at! Betrayed by her most trusted friend and lied on as well as led on to believing differently.
She has picked on clues actually but she kept on ignoring them. She even saw Mutya from the boss' office without having being paged publicly just like how their boss summons anyone, through the company's speaker. 
But she casted that thought thinking Mutya would never betray her and her feelings like that.
She's her best friend after all!
Wow, what a shame she's been well played at.
If not because of their highest security's slip, she wouldn't find out.
She was asked by their building's highest security, Mona, where the boss' girlfriend is and when she was not able to entertain that thought at the sane time answer Mona, she then was asked where her best friend is.
She was least to say, dumbfounded! 
Mona left her speechless. 
But she managed to raise her shoulders to signal she has no idea at all.
But she really has no idea at all!
What the hell!
She went on to her cubicle and ask this nice new officemate, Leia, if she knew whether Mutya and their boss is having a relationship..
Leia looked into her already messed up face, a red nose and about to cry anytime eyes because this is her when about to cry. Her face just becomes almost red.
Leia gave her a thoughtful look and heaved a sigh. By then she nodded and held her hand. As if telling she would be okay.
How could Leia be so honest to her when she just met her about half a month ago but her best friend, Mutya, shared her sorrows and joys for almost eight years and here she is, straight lying on her face as if she's not her best friend.
She then asked for a box from the curios maintenance and calmly collected her things, carefully placing them inside the box. It was too early for other employees to be noticing her and it only looked like she was just cleaning her cubicle.
There was this long drafted resignation letter seating in her files and she never thought it to be handy until now. She printed it out and headed to the HR's office surrendering her company ID. And at the same time filled in the form for clearance. She also submitted digital copies of it to the corresponding bosses. 
It was a perfect time because the speakers sounded a call for conference by the co-director for everyone to gather to the topmost floor. 
At this, she went down and gathered her things towards her car. When she's settled in her car at the company's parking, her scheduled resignation letter must be received by now through the company's system to her bosses.
She lent an irrevocable resignation letter.
She must have kept it at bay while inside the company's premise but now in the confines of her car, she let all the tears flow.
How could Mutya do this to her?
About an hour, she pulled at her favorite cafe and made herself comfortable. Long gone is her office attire. Good thing she has an emergency duffel bag for instances like this.

She looked around the coffee shop. There's no one but her at this busy time checking in to respective works in this business district. Well there was this beautiful woman who kindly picked up her fallen purse when she was ordering at the counter. The stranger introduced herself as Joey and she responded, Hennie. She can't be formal when this lady just shown her kindness. Joey even told her before she went out the cafe,
"It's a sunny day for a pretty face like yours to be gloomy." With all that encouraging kind smile from her.
Somehow she felt light at that.
How could strangers be that uplifting and her best friend of eight years just did the opposite.

The thought casted away what little lightness that short encounter with Joey gathered within her.

The cafe owner, Adhika, even gave her a compliment sweets just to lift her mood up. 

Al of these kind gestures from strangers she experienced today made Mutya evil to her to be honest.

All this time she just thought it's just Mutya and her odds. When she talks of her and Seth in fantasies, she would just pretend to be listening, not really saying anything against or supporting, she just goes mum about it. She just goes talking positively how her love story would be one worth filming and this was supposedly a sign for her. Because her best friend is just like her, so bubbly. But on this note, she would go mum.
But that's where she thought wrong.
She feels so dumb now telling the girlfriend of the man she's fantasizing all things she... stop! 
At least her idiocy ends now.

Well, that's life.

Well at least she is not high-maintenanced. Her savings would do.

A film is a only be successful if it have good box office score or it have gain awards. A film will be called classic if it gained both.
For a film to gain reputation specially indie films award is important but it might no be as important as for the crew members , actors or the director.
To become successful or to have a market stability or to gain enough reputation or respect for any actor, director , screen writer or any other crew member gaining a award have more weight than having high box office.
That's why award shows are so important for not only to gain recognition but to show the world as well that you got one.
Most popular award show in US is The Golden Globe Award and the OSCARS Award.


On July 28 The golden globe announced the nominations where E.T got 8 including best film, best director and Richard got 3 from which 1 outside of E.T they were the best adapted screenplay , the best supporting actor and the new superstar of the year.  
When Richard was shooting on the third day in the film A Christmas Story , The golden globe held.

Although Richard participated, that day E.T got 4 awards among which was the best film and best director, but he didn't get any which was not surprising. He was sad for not getting anything but happy that E.T won the best film.
During the last days of the shooting, the OSCARS nomination came out. 
E.T won 10 nomination for  Best Visual Effects, Best Original Score, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, Best Film Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography , Best Supporting Actor,
Best Director and Best Pictures

The announcement shocked not only the media but the general public as well. A 7 year old not only won 2 nomination but double nomination at that, also the film was the first film in 80s to gain 10 nomination.

Today finally the all the dubbing work for <A Christmas story> is finished. After finishing the the shooting a month back, Richard stayed in Hollywood not only for the dubbing work but also for the PR of the E.T movie for the coming Oscars. 
It was a one  of a kind  experience, going to parties of Oscar judge, meeting them in in person, giving interview to the media all in all this was a one of a kind experience for him which is quite tiring. 
Coming out of the Studio Richard and Ari directly went to the Armani Store where they met with his mother. Today's agenda find a good suit for Richard when attending Oscar award. As he is a growing child he needs to constantly change dress.
Beside a celebrity usually don't wear a party dress more than twice even if its a male star. Being a public figure is a money burning process.
 
Hour hand of a clock moves, the sky becomes darker, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion gets filled with shouts of fans and reporters, flashes of camera, as stars walks on the red carpet to enter because today is 55th Academy Awards i.e. Oscars.
"Wow just look the amount of people here." said Hanna looking at the the mass of people outside the car.
"Well its one of the few times in a year all the stars gather around so, having this much people quite common." replied Richard while also looking outside.

Toady is Richard's first time attending Oscars. looking at the red carpet when the car stop Richard thought 
'How far I have come in such a short time'
Taking a deep breath Richard got out of the car ans step on the carpet.
Today he wore a black suit, his cute but sharp face attracted quite a few attention but the response he got while walking is quite mild compare to the other stars.
Even with the grand success of E.T not many people know about him. 

Holding his mother's hand, he walked all the way into the theater, and quickly found the crew, and greeted the crew members such as Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall  one by one. , Sat down quietly, waiting for the start of the award ceremony. 
In fact, he is not optimistic that he can get the Golden Man. As he can see the judges' standards, but it is really difficult for people with too little experience to win the prize, Besides getting a early Oscar might not be a good thing.

His thoughts were interpreted when melodious sound traveled all around the stage indicating the start of the shows.
With the host doing his greeting and teasing the celebrities, awards ceremony started  and the second award was the best supporting actor male came
When, Susan Sarandon came to the stage telling the nomination for the best supporting actor male, When Richard name was announced his face was shown in the screen was face with a sunny sweet smile.
"The best supporting actor is Louis Gossett Jr."
Hearing the announcement Richard sign in disappointment and Hanna took Richards hand pressed it hard 
"Don't worry you will get next time." consoled Hanna.
"Thanks mom."
"Don't be sad kid you have a lot of time" said Steven while patting his shoulder.
"Thanks Steven."
After that all the technical awards were given. Among them 4  won by E.T.
Then one by one best supporting actress came, best actress came, best actor came then came the best editing which went to E,T
When Philip Dunne came and handed the prize for best original screen play, its time for best adapted screen play. Finishing the name of the nominees he opened the envelope looked inside and was surprised for a moment. 
Seeing the surprise face audience became curious but the nominees including Richard became tense.
looking at the audience he laughed " Looks like history about to take place"
hearing the audience got confused but some discerning mind quickly found out looked at a certain side, even Richard heart skipped a beat.
"The best adapted Screen play goes to E.T, Richard Jackson"
