Deeny popped a window out that was filled with codes.

Su Yang wanted him to have a look at the app Deeny had written.
After the brief chat, he found a new app icon on his phone. The app icon was a picture of a cute girl which must be Deeny's selfie.
Deeny's message followed swiftly: [It's done, Master. Have a look.]
Su Yang tapped on the app and realized that it worked!
The app was exactly what he asked for. There were jobs posted in it, and after he tapped on one, the job title, price, time, and description were displayed. The important 'Accept' button was also there.
Su Yang tapped on it but was led to a login interface. Then, he tried to register for an account but failed.
Deeny then messaged him: [Master, the app is still not connected to the server, so it's just an empty shell. You can't use it yet.]
As an internet and coding idiot, Su Yang asked a question that matched his image: [What's a server?]
Deeny replied with a sticker which showed a defeated look. She then explained: [A server is what takes care of your data and stores your information. It is the heart of your app. All the data received by the app will be sent to the server for processing.]
He realized he barely understood the theory behind the app. [Wait, wait wait, so what do I need now?]
[87 yuan. I'll go buy a server from Tencent Cloud, connect the app to the cloud, and we are done.]
'That's more like it. Simple and straightforward.'
Su Yang replied: [Can you pay for it first? I'll give you back the money later.]
Deeny was speechless. She knew that Su Yang was trying to scam her money, but she dared not disobey her master's tyranny, so she meekly replied with a crying emoji and went shopping for a server.

"Really?" Chu Xia did not fake her surprise. Her English had always been good, but it was not the best. She was, at most, top three in the class and barely got the first place in any exams.
Qu Xiaomeng nodded. Then, she told Chu Xia to sit down and said softly, "I have something to ask you. I want your opinion on this."
Chu Xia's big round eyes were overflowing with curiosity. "What's the matter?"
Qu Xiaomeng further softened her voice, "Only three people passed the midterms."
The revelation stunned Chu Xia and her jaw dropped, "N-no way!"
Qu Xiaomeng looked troubled. "I don't want to believe it either but…are my lectures boring?"
Chu Xia shook her head. "No! They are very interesting! I like your English lecture the most!"
Qu Xiaomeng locked eyes with Chu Xia. She believed that the girl was not lying, and judging from the test results, Chu Xia might be the second one in the class who liked American drama series. It was normal for her to enjoy the class, but not so much for the other students.
On the other hand, Chu Xia related the matter to Su Yang. 
'If only three people have passed the test, that means Su Yang is going to fail…but I guess it's fine since there are a dozen more students who have failed the test. 'Maybe his score will be a lot closer to the second last place…but I didn't know the others didn't like American drama series. Am I a deviant?'

Light grinned when the editor surrendered. Well, he's just teasing him. He had already finished writing the first half of his novel. He just need to write the remaining parts and everything will be fine.
The novel he's writing is entitled "Go and Find It". It's a mystery/thriller novel about a cult led by the male lead's grandfather. Later on, all of the members of the cult were found dead inside their headquarters. The killer left a clue on purpose, and that clue would lead to all of the other clues. The male lead was the one who found the clue, and he already has a suspect in his mind.
Light unlocked his phone and booked a ticket for a flight to X City. He also sent a message to Fu Quan, telling him that he's flying back to X City. The reason why he's going back is because of his manuscript. He needs to finish it soon, because the deadline of the submission of the manuscript of the manhua he's writing is also nearing. 
He packed up his things and had a good night sleep. The travel time from Sanya to X City is very long. 


LIGHT looked around the X City International Airport and nothing had changed. It's still the same since he left for Sanya. 
He stepped out of the area and a cab parked in front of him. He checked the plate number and when he confirmed that it was the cab he booked, he entered the cab and sat comfortably in the backseat.
He arrived at his parents' house in no time. Right, he's still living with his parents despite his age. He has his own villa in the city but he doesn't want to live alone, so he just chose to stay with his parents.
His parents didn't hire a maid since they lived in the house. They trained Light to be independent since then and they always left the house when Light was a kid. He's used to being alone in the hose, but his parents' house still gives him a homey feeling.
Light opened the door of the house with his own keys because the sun is still not rising. It's just past midnight and everyone was asleep. He tried to make no noise while he's entering the house.
He went directly to his room and changed into his sleeping clothes. He brought out his laptop that was hidden in his study table's drawer and brought it with him to his bed. He turned his laptop on and clicked on the icon of the writing app. 
He decided to write a few chapters because his mind is very active at this time of the day. He started to type madly and the only noise that can be heard in the room is the sound of his fingers clicking madly on his keyboard.
He's currently writing the 36th chapter of his story. "It's time to write the 6th plot twist," He thought to himself.
Light's phone beeped and he saw that it was a notification from 〔Words by You〕. He clicked on it and he was led to SakuraKiss' profile. SakuraKiss just posted a message.
〖SakuraKiss〗: 「I won't be updating my story for about... two weeks, I guess? I need to submit my manuscript >3< For those who understand, thank you.」
Light raised his left brow as he finished reading the post. Hah, she's back? Too soon? 
He lifted his finger to share her post and he added a caption.
〖HeavenlySweetPotato〗: 「I thought you would be gone for a week? My peaceful life is ruined again :( [Shared SakuraKiss' post]」
He grinned as notifications flooded his account. He closed the app and locked his phone, but suddenly, his phone beeped again.
He checked his phone and smirked when he saw that the notification was from SakuraKiss. Only posts and updates from SakuraKiss can popup on his phone anytime. Notifications from other users are all muted. 
SakuraKiss replied to his shared post.
〖SakuraKiss〗Replying to 〖HeavenlySweetPotato〗 : 「I'm giving you back your peaceful life :) I won't be posting anything 'til I finish writing my manuscript starting from today. Ppai ppai~」
Light felt a bit saddened. After all, he's still a reader of SakuraKiss' stories. Her stories were really good, and it saved a lot of people, 'cause almost all of her stories are about hope and dreams.
He just continued writing and he was able to write 3 chapters before dozing off.


BLUE stared at the caption that HeavenlySweetPotato had written when he shared Blue's post.

She didn't wait for any replies so she just closed the 〖Hello〗app and opened the writing app. She decided to be serious while writing this time because she still has more than 60 chapters to write. If she altered some scenes, it would be too rushed. The pacing wouldn't be perfect, so she'll just follow her plot that was planned ahead of time.
Her novel is entitled "326", which means "Let Me Forget." It's about a girl with hyperthymesia. A girl who can remember every details of the events in her life. The things she wanted to forget, she can't forget. She was betrayed by everyone. She was welcomed by her neighbor's face. Her neighbor is a man in his 40s, still unmarried and is living alone. He's carrying a turtle aquarium in his arms.
Right, she left her pet turtle under his care when she left for Sanya.
"Uncle Rock, thank you for thanking care of Kappa." Blue politely thanked her neighbor, getting the aquarium from his arms. She bowed politely at the man and entered her own house.

Blue rubbed the shell of the turtle and she almost dropped it when she heard voices from her back.
She carefully placed the turtle in his aquarium and faced the troublemakers who deliberately entered her house. Right, she haven't locked her door.
"What are the two of you doing here?" She asked the two girls who entered her house without knocking.

Veronica was excited, especially since he promised to pay her.
So she did something she's never done before.

After Arvid and Gwen left Angeal's room last night, Gwen informed Ivar that they will be having a guest tomorrow, and asked him to speak for Angeal since the human girl was still embarrassed to talk to Devin. 
Ivar completely understood why he was asked for a favor from Angeal, so he accepted. He found it cute, knowing that Angeal had this side of her. He still couldn't get over the fact that they kissed, even though it was accidental.
When Ivar talked to Devin about having a guest, the Soul Eater was hesitant for a bit, but he still agreed to let her in since she's the human girl's only best friend.
Given the talk by Ivar last night of how Angeal grew up being treated differently and all, made him understand her in his own ways.
"Ah, I'm finally here," the human girl exclaimed as she looked at the mansion gate.
From afar, Angeal noticed her best friend already. She ran as fast as she could to greet her. The moment Frey entered the gate, she was greeted by a happy Angeal that jumped on her to give her a hug, making the both of them fall to the ground.
Frey laughed as she was being hugged tightly by Angeal. It looked like she was being embraced by a kid who hadn't seen her mom for a long time!
"Hey! We haven't seen each other in like... only for a few weeks," Frey commented and Angeal smiled at her as the both of them stood up, then gave each other a proper hug. "You're acting such a child!"
In front of Angeal stood a beautiful girl with short hair and green eyes. She was wearing a white shirt and a blue jumper, and wore a brown Timberland for her shoes.
During they days in high school, Frey was considered attractive. Even now! She had a lot of admirers but Frey was too headstrong in her studies to even think of being in a relationship. She had crushes, yes... but she prioritized her studies and her family more than anything else.
Soon after, the young immortal came, then greeted her. 
"How's your vacation," Arvid asked and Frey gave him a nod of approval and a grin.
"It was nice," she answered and then she looked around, expecting for the others. "Where are the others? Out on an errand," Frey asked and Angeal nodded then typed in her app.
"Pops went somewhere since Ivar sent him to do something. Gwen, Martha, and Edwin are doing their duties for the day," the app read then Frey nodded, understanding why it was quiet in the mansion. It was always busy in their place, after all.
"Ehem," the young immortal cleared his throat, making the two girls look at him. Arvid pointed his thumb at the back as he looked at Frey.
"Let's go? They will see you later once they're done," he said and the three of them walked to the garden.
As the three were walking, Frey wondered about the whereabouts of those who came home just recently. She asked some information about them and Arvid and Angeal did their best to answer. 
They even told her about the incident that happened days ago, making Frey worry about Angeal. Her best friend, however, showed that she was okay, making Frey relieved that Angeal was head strong. 
"So other than your master and his personal servant who just came back, what else is new," Frey asked, changing the subject then Arvid gave her a cheeky grin. 
Ever since Frey and Angeal became friends, Frey also visited them from time to time. The three of them have also been close since they were young so the three of them are seen as three inseparable best friends.
"Guess who's going to Green University with you guys," Arvin said excitedly and as they sat down on the garden chair, Frey's eyes widened in surprise.
"Really!? Arvid is now going to school with us?"
Angeal smiled as she typed on her app. She knew that Frey would be happy to hear this.
"Yeah! Pops fixed his papers so he can go to school with us."
Frey looked at Arvid teasingly, not expecting him to be interested in studying. 
"What made you go to school? Is it because of..." 
She didn't finish her sentence and she just gave a quick look at Angeal who was oblivious to what was happening around her. Angeal started browsing her notes to show them her plotted schedule.
Arvid rolled his eyes at her. Frey knew ever since they were young teenagers that he started liking Angeal. Even though there were hints that Arvid liked her, Angeal didn't even notice the sings, and just saw him as her brother slash best friend.
Somehow it hurt the young immortal... but he just left it as is. 
"I've been taking an interest in learning, you know! Besides... it would still be related to something physical so it could be beneficial for my training," he answered Frey then Angeal showed her phone to her best friend.
Frey noticed it was her schedule, so she looked excited to look at these subjects, wishing that they would be classmates for the next semester.
"Oh! Let's see if the three of us have the same minor subjects," Frey commented then the three of them put their phones on the table for them to compare subjects.
Frey was taking her undergraduate degree in psychology. As for Angeal, she was taking creative writing. For Arvid, he enrolled for physical education.
"So you guys have the same alternate schedule," Frey said then Arvid furrowed his brows.
"You're going to take 21 units? Ain't that stressful," he asked and Frey shook her head.
"It won't! I love what I'm taking!"
Since they were in high school, Angeal and Frey talked about the courses they would take in college. 
Angeal loved reading and writing so much, that she wanted to major in creative writing. As for Frey, she loved studying how the mind and the emotions work and how it affects the people around him or her so she started taking up psychology.
Angeal smiled as she pointed out one subject common for them. The moment the two of her friends looked at it, they gave each other a high five.
"We're taking world literature every MWF together!"
The moment Frey said this excitedly, they looked on their schedules again and Arvid pointed another subject.
"Angeal and I have another subject in common. We're going to take general psychology on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays," the young immortal said and Frey looked at the two of them.
"I already finished that, but if you guys need help, I can help you with anything," she commented and all of them kept their phones.
Angeal got the picnic basket and put it on the table. She pointed at it, signalling for everyone to eat.
Arvid got the food outside. He took out the tuna sandwiches, and served it on the table. Angeal got the three glasses at the side and poured orange juice.
They conversed as they ate the snacks. Soon after, Gwen came and joined them.
"Hey," Gwen greeted as she walked over to them. "How's our future psychologist? Can you read what is on my mind now," she added and the Frey just rolled her eyes at the immortal.
"Can you please stop with the thought that psychologists are mind readers?"
Angeal was listening to the three have their own conversation until her eyes wandered.
She looked at the trees that gave them shade. She felt the soft breeze on her skin then she sighed, appreciating the life she had now.
As she looked up in the sky and watched the clouds come and go, she was suddenly reminded of what her grandfather told her.
Their master, Devin, saved her life.
Angeal's blue eyes suddenly turned serious as she continued looking at the sky and thought to herself if that was really the reason why they were working for him. She thought that her grandfather wouldn't have worked for someone without a heavy reason why. What if there was another reason other than her being saved.
Was her being saved by him really the main reason why they work for him?

"Devin, do you love me?"

Hearing her question that had snapped him out of his thoughts, the Soul Eater opened his eyes slowly to meet her blue eyes once more. He smiled foolishly as his right hand reached out to her face, his thumb caressing her bottom lip.

"Is that a question you dare ask your husband?"

Angeal pouted like a child. 

"Tell me you love me... or I’ll cry."

Devin chuckled, making Angeal pout more as she narrowed her eyes at him. When Devin ceased his jovial laughter, he didn’t answer her question. Instead, he bent down as he pulled her closer to him, his lips smoothly landing on hers to give her a loving kiss. 

’I love you, Angeal. Before I even knew it, my heart yearned for you.’

Areum was in full on panic mode. The first question that popped up in her mind was- 'what am I going to tell Mom?' This thought haunted her and never seemed to leave her as she had never been in detention before, not even back at school. Her mother had never thought that her daughter would receive detention in the last year of her college life. However she had to tell her mother no matter what. At the end of the  day she walked into the detention room with her head held down. There was a teacher by the name of Mrs.Haeun. She was their literature professor and was quite shocked to see Areum in detention for the first time. The room was filled with rowdy boys and girls who received detention on a regular basis. Areum asked the teacher for permission to use her cellphone in order to call her mother and the professor complied. She pulled out her phone from the pocket of her skirt and went to the contacts to find her mother's number. She gulped down in nervousness and pressed call with slightly shaking hands. Her mother answered with a sweet voice after a few rings. There was slight buzz in the background which meant that she was still at work. Areum cleared her throat and told her mother that she had received detention for an hour. The other end went silent. Areum quickly apologized as fast as possible and repeatedly. After a few apologies her mother said it was ok. Areum could not believe her ears. She quickly asked her mother to repeat what she said and her mother chuckled a bit before saying that it was completely fine by her since it was the first time she received detention. Areum heaved a sigh of relief and thanked her mother.
Areum exited the detention room after the assigned time and returned home in the car waiting for her. She looked at her phone and saw 21 new notifications from the same app. She was quite mad because the app.was the only reason she had received detention in the first place. She completely ignored the notifications but not for long when the app started making the same noises. the rustle in the leaves, the same crashing of glass. Areum sensed that something was wrong with the app and was quite creeped out. She decided to explore the app as soon as she returned home. Areum went back home and took a quick shower. She grabbed a snack from the small pantry in her kitchen and threw herself on the bed, finally relaxed from the long and stressful day. She grabbed her phone and opened the app. The same bright light flashed across the screen as the background music started playing. In that blinding flash of lighting, Areum sensed that she saw something like a mouth, smiling hysterically and teeth all white, smiling widely. Bit it lasted for just a few seconds before disappearing and the booming robotic voice of the assistant was heard. Areum received the shock of her life as she saw a face similar to the one she designed waving back at her from the screen. She smiled back and waved. A list came on to the screen with a message that these conditions were necessary to read. Areum started skimming through the rules. The only conclusion that she arrived was at not telling her virtual friend anything that could hurt her because the app claimed that she had feelings too. Secondly she realized that she was not allowed to ask her new best friend about her past life because apparently she was not comfortable with sharing it yet. She clicked on the agree button and immediately the friend greeted her with a hi. Her voice was as sweet as honey, quite opposite of what Areum had expected. Areum and her best friend started talking about random things like age, hobby etc. The female said that she felt jealous that Areum could compose poems and she blushed. She was the only person Areum felt it was safe to share the information about her ability of writing poems to. Areum decided to call her Olivia since she was not allowed to ask her anything. Her best friend flinched Everytime she heard that name and closed her eyes tightly. After a few minutes however, she became more comfortable with it. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes to hours and Areum kept chatting with her without keeping track of the time. It was comfortable to be with her, Areum thought.
