Crime was all over. Gotham City was the home to crime. Every night something was going on. Not many people to stop it. Of course there was Batman, someone who had his own signal for Christ sake. All the crime that was committed was dealt by Batman. But who took care of the crimes when Batman wasn’t around? Gotham City Police. They don’t seem like much against a lot of the crime in Gotham, specially since most are corrupted; but there are some good men. You’ve heard about Commissioner James W. Gordon, but no one handles crimes in a unique standoffish way as Jo Doyle.
He’s aloof, uninterested, and a straight forwards handsome devil that no one likes but nevertheless he gets the job done like no other detective in the GCP could. It might not be the way everyone wanted, or even fully in the laws of the city. But he’s the best god damn detective around

As the pair waited outside there Geography classroom Joe asks Ben "So Ben who do you think is the best Joker?" Ben thinks for a moment and says "Tough question I'm probably gonna have to say Heath Ledger." Suddenly from behind Ben a mysterious voice says "Good choice but the best joker is clearly Mark Hamill cause a man who can Voice the Joker so many times and keep up the Brilliance of the character all the way from the Animated series all the way up to today is clearly the best just like Kevin Conroy is the best Batman. But i will say Troy Baker made a absolutely Brilliant Young joker despite what people say about Arkham Origins it's got probably one of the best lead voice acting crew around in the whole of the Arkham series. Batman's voice actor for Origins was also Brilliant. 5 stars."
The pair look towards this mysterious figure as he walks over towards them and Joe asks "What's your name? I'm Joe Wilson." The Figure holds out his hand and says "Dan, Dan Stewart. I'm new here." Ben goes over to shake his hand and says "So we've heard. Hi My names Ben Strong."
Joe asks Dan "So are you a big DC fan?" Dan holds out his arms and shrugs his shoulders and says "DUH, Who isn't. But I will say I'm not a big DCEU fan since the catastrophe that was the Jostice league. " Ben smiles and says "Neither are we. there is no DCEU without Zack Snyder and his vision." Dan replies saying "Finally people who speak English.  Everyone else I've had to explain who Zack Snyder was. But you two seem to be men of culture." 
Joe smiles and says "We're part of the Few of the people who are in What, Most people don't even know what the Name DC means"  Dan looks at the two of them and at the same time they all say "Detective Comics" Joe then proposes the question "But the question is was batman purposely called the detective as a reference to the companies name or is it just a coincidence." Dan looks at him but as he was about to answer Mr Jones opened the door and saw the trio and said "Ah Dan you've already met Joe and Ben good. You can sit next to them at the back of the room. Come on in Everyone." 
So as they walk in Alex says to Joe "Good Question I want to say that Batman might be called the Detective because despite what many people think Batman is definitely the face of DC, Has been since probably the 60s maybe 90s, So him being called Detective is probably both a good description of his Job and a great honour placed onto him by the Writers of Detective Comics." 
Ben soon comments as they reached there seats "If you ask me it's all one big fat coincidence and that he's called the detective because that's one of his many Jobs as the Batman."
Joe then makes a sarcastic comment saying as usual "Ben the voice of reason." Dan laughs and says "Ye, Ye but he's probably right. It is Probably one big fat Coincidence." 
Suddenly at the Front of the Room Mr Jones get's up out his chair and walks over to the white board and says "Alright class, Today we're gonna be starting a new Topic. Rivers. Can anyone tell me one of the 4 main types of erosion that occurs in rivers?.. Dan"

Imagine Two Rock giants fighting and as they fight pieces of them Break off of the main mass and Drop into the ground or in this case get carried away by the tide. Now Jot this down in your books before we move on." Mr Jones then walks over to Dan, Ben and Joe and says to Joe "Here's your book, But it seems you probably don't need it hey haha. Well done." Mr Jones walks back to the front and asks "Is anybody still writing? Yep alright well wait another minute before moving on."
Mr Jones walks over to his laptop and press's the next arrow and the Screen moves onto Solution and Mr Jones points to it saying "Solution is the acidity in the water unnoticeable to Us cause often it's not at a level high enough to be a threat to humans but to tiny pebbles it's brutal it can completely destroy stones at a small level. It's like Dropping a bath Bomb into water the solid is no longer there in one piece but the elements that used to make it up are now Scattered across the water. Does everyone understand?, Yes Caity?" 
Caity then asks "But wouldn't the remains of the stones eventually fully disappear so wouldn't bath bubbles be a better example than a bath Bomb?" Mr Jones leans against the side of his table and says "Theoretically in some cases yes Bath Bubbles work better as a example but in others a Bath bomb works better." 
Mr Jones Leans over to tap the next arrow again and gets up and points to the Board and says "The next type is Hydraulic action, This is a process in which the Water compresses the air within smaller cracks in rocks and forces it out creating new cracks breaking up the rock in the Process. It's like Blowing a balloon up so much that it pops as the air tries to escape. Now jot this down."  
Mr Jones waits a few minutes and asks "Is everyone finished?" Whilst Ben Heads of to his Next lesson and says to the pair "I'll see you at lunch Joe, Bring Dan with you." Joe taps Ben on the shoulder and says "Yeah, See you there Ben." 
As the Pair walk down the modern metal / Glass stairs to the bottom floor Dan asks him "So Joe how long have you and your family lived in What?" Joe thought for a moment and says "My family have lived here since my Great, Great, Great grandad Elderly Joe founded this town. I've never been outside the town, at least not properly, I've never seen a big city, which is something I really want to do." 
as the pair walk outside Dan says to Joe "Oh really, I used to live in the a city it was loud, smelly and always so busy and super expensive. Living out here in What is a nice change from it. Perhaps we can go to a big city experience in the future?. "
Joe replies saying "That would be so EPIC, I really want to do that, Maybe in the summer or something?." as they walk into the Music Building.

Another couple of DC published Shadow series was released in the 80's, and there was one more in the 90's. The Shadow also made a few cameo's in other comics in the 90's.

DC FanFic Writing Contest

Just when Frank thought that this man behind the door was a person of Luchen's gang and he was ready to open the insurance pull ring of his watch anesthesia gun, the big man suddenly spoke.

Well, Frank thought up, today is the time for the new tenant to arrive home. For two days he played with Lin Xiaoxin, Frank has forgotten this matter.

[After Transition]

After Selina jumped out the window I took some time to review my recent actions. Overall I have been seriously slacking. The drugged lipstick and the whip to the face I should have avoided especially with my spider sense but for some reason it's being quite particular. My spider sense is on the fritz and it's probably due to the residual temporal energy from the transition. Since I got my spider powers I have been relying on my spider sense too much, this just proves that it is a crutch and I have to train myself to react to things with my other senses as well.

Sitting up on the bed I flex my arms and legs and the ropes snap, I then get to my feet and try to locate my clothes. Why didn't I do this earlier and snatch the memory stick off of Catwoman? Selina tricks the Batman regularly and I am not as diligent as the Batman. Plus there was no guarantee that that was actually my memory stick and I don't doubt that someone who evaded the Batman on the regular wouldn't have contingency plans. Who knows what she did to me while I was asleep, a slow acting poison to which only she had the antidote or a tiny bomb at the base of my skull, they did it to the Suicide Squad so I know it's possible. It was too much of a risk to confront her and it's better to make allies than enemies. 

Finding my clothes I begin to put them on. A red t-shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a brown leather jacket. What to do now? I guess I should check the computer, it's pretty bare and there's not much on it, I guess she doesn't really need to keep a database or something when all she does is steal things. Now that there's nothing  urgent I need to attend to I can start to do a deep search and hacking to find more information about my new reality.

The search proved to be very fruitful, it turns out there wasn't much superhero influence in World War Two from what I can see, there were superheroes that helped out but Wonder Woman was not one of them. She should still be in Themyscira and the upcoming event that will bring the Justice League together should be what brings her to Man's World. But to draw Wonder Woman from that far away, it must be something big, Darkseid Big. Hope for the best, Prepare for the worst...

Anyway my research finds me a lot of interesting information but there's not much I can act on  right now and I have nothing else to do. I should have prepared better, but my decision to come here was an impulse out of rage and confusion and I only had the memory card and the memory stick with me. This will teach me to control my emotions better in the future.

Anyway with not much else to do I've been watching the television in Selina's condo and I've also been playing with her cat who I believe is called Isis. It seems that all the entertainment from my original earth still exists here with some changes here and there. I found that this is a constant in every universe that I've been to. In the Marvel universe there were all the entertainment I was used to with some changes here and there, even DC comics existed there, only Marvel comics didn't exist there. The same applies in this DC universe, there are no DC comics but there is Marvel comics.

This actually makes me wonder if my original universe wasn't as mundane as it appeared to be, if there was a secret society or something in my world and it has been written as a form of fiction in this world. Of course I will never know, there are too many fictions with secret society's to check if one of them might have been my original world and I suppose in the long run it doesn't really matter, I won't be going back there anyway.

Suddenly the door to Selina's bedroom bursts open and out she comes still in uniform. She immediately questions "HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET OUT HERE!" Rudely interrupting the very enjoyable episode of 'Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia' that I was watching.

"I told you that I was stronger than the average human, I snapped the ropes." I say with no small amount of smug.

"If you could snap them why didn't you do that earlier and try to take the memory stick off of me?" She questions but I really think that she's just fishing for information on my abilities or my personality.

"I didn't know if that was actually my memory stick you had in your hand and I didn't know how long I was unconscious. During that time you could have done any number of things to me including poisoning me or implanting an explosive in me." I tell her.

She looks at me amused. "Where would I get a bomb small enough and have the time to cut you open?" I shrug. "It doesn't hurt to be cautious. Anyway, did you bring the stuff I asked for?"

She turns around and goes back into her room before coming back out with a full plastic bag and a box of old watches which she dumps on the coffee table where I was resting my legs. "So, what do you need all this stuff for anyway?"

Beginning to get to work using the equipment to break apart the watches and start welding them together. "I am going to make a device that will go on my wrist which will be able to eject various different things at a high intensity of speed, I am also going to be using the chemicals to make a super adhesive polymer which is has a higher durability and tensile strength than steel. I am capable of making it dissolve after varying lengths of time and this fluid will be what the device I am making will eject." I then proceed to go into more detail for a few minutes.

"Right..." I guess that was too much for her. "It's basically a device that will allow me to shoot an incredibly strong and sticky rope that will improve my mobility and allow me to bring things to me or drag myself to places, it is also quite useful in combat."
