Landon Becks is a sports scholarship student at White Winter Prep, with only one duty: guard the students in his dorm. 
This duty is more easily said than done, because High School is not always kind to disabled students, and none of the students in his dorm fit the criteria of ordinary. With a blind artist, a deaf dancer and her translator, a self-proclaimed Princess of Pastries, a stubborn paraplegic girl, a mute prodigy and son and daughter of a potential mobster, it's not long before he realises it's not just inside the school he must protect his dormmates from. 


A story of High School drama, suspense, romance and family.

When they left for the courtyard, there were already students gathered around.
The atmosphere was hard to ignore. Students were talking amongst themselves in groups. It seems like when they arrived the tension in the air rose to its peak.
"Is that her?"
"Yea, that's her, the short one..."
Hearing these words Mika turned to look at Celaena, "They talking about you."
Celaena frowned at Mika as she laughed at not being the shortest person in the group anymore.
A group of female students came up to them, "Are you Mikaela Amara?"
When she heard her name being called, the laughter disappeared from her face. Celaena on the another hand was smiling from ear to ear.
"Shorty." Mika chose to ignore Celaena's remark, and ask what the girls in front of her needed.
"Yes, that's me. What can I do for you?"
"It really is her..."
"She doesn't look like much."
"How did she get in?"
"...this is not fair...!"
Numerous complaints and glares were bought Mika's way once she confirm her identity. She didn't know what these students have against her, she didn't even know any of them. However, their comments were starting to get on her nerves.
"Look, can I help you with something? If not, shoo...don't bother me." Having dealt with being a social pariah before, Mika knew how to handle the snobby and rube individuals before her.
Seeing Mika wave her in the air dismissing them from her presence, took their frustrations to a new level.
"Tsk! Yes, you can help me...I challenge you for your spot in the BLUE Dorm!"
All noise in the courtyard stopped, as the surrounding students turned to look at the new students' argument.
"What?" Mika was confused as to why she would be the first one challenged for anything. 
I just got here yesterday...
"I heard you only received a ninety-two (92) on the second test. I on the other hand got a ninety-seven. Does it seem right to you that I should be left out of the BLUE dorm...Why should I have to stay in that disgusting ORANGE dorm, while you live in luxury! I heard that the dorm room are only shared between two people. Your food is free and cooked by imperial chefs and they even give you a school shopping card...!" The girl's words were heard by everyone in the courtyard. The new students especially, were irritated by this information. Many voices of outraged were heard.
Mika looked around her at the new students and returning students, then back at the girl.
"Yeah, so what?" 
"So..." The girl stepped away from her group of followers, to stand in directly in front of Mika, "...those things should all be mine!" The girl cried out.
Mika looked at the huffing and puffing female in front of her and thought she looked like those cartoon characters from her past life. She almost expected steam to burst out of her ears.
"Who told you my score?" Mika didn't think this girl had the knowledge or the audacity to break into the school's mainframe to check other people's scores.
"She told me..."
Mika looked over to where the girl indicated and saw her roommate. Standing next to her roommate was another person she recognized...Lula.
It looks like my ex-sister is starting with her schemes early.
Mika didn't know how she found out her scores or how she knows her roommate, but they would be in for a rude awakening if they thought this would faze her.
Lula looked at her younger sister in annoyance. From the time she start attending this school, she could never get into the BLUE dorm. It could only ever be a dream for her, even Kamryn and Sienna could never get in.
The closest Kamryn could get to the BLUE dorm was the RED dorm, and though it was immaculately made it still wasn't the BLUE dormitory.
Now, here comes Mikaela and on her first try she gets in. She had forgotten that Mika was supposed to start school this year, if it wasn't for her teacher coming up to her to sing praises, not for her own work but her sister's, she would have never even bothered with Mika at all right now. She had too much on her mind dealing with her mother's family. 
For the past couple of weeks, Lula and her mother have been having hard time since Kamryn's wedding. 
After being kicked out of her father's clan, Lula and her mother moved with Lady Jaelah's maiden family.
There she was treated with no respect. Every move she made resulted in her aunts and cousins find fault with her. When she ate her meals, they would say she is eating too much and taking food out of their children's mouths. Whenever she went shopping with friends, they would say she stole the money from their pockets.
It was like living on egg shells, she had to be cautious of everything she say and does.
When it came time to go back to school, Lula relished the thought of leaving that household. Her only saving grace she had during those times were her talks with Prince Thallan. Though he didn't respond to all her letters, the few he did send kept her happy and wishful for the day they could be together.


Meet Lila, she an outspoken orphan who lives on a planet that's about the end. Born to stay in the background by the people who abandoned her and friends who betrayed her. Lila wonders if her fate really is to just die.

Klaus Zhi is sitting on the living room when Zenia arrived carrying a lot of shopping bags. He glance at his wristwatch and it was just in time for dinner. 

"Husband, I didn't expect you're early today." Zenia happily kiss him in the cheek. 

"hmm, you went shopping?" Klaus asked frowning. 

"yes, princess will be home tomorrow so i bought her a new clothes and shoes from her favorite clothing brand, they just release this season's edition!" Zenia excitedly narrated. 

"Didn't we agreed were not spoiling her any longer? she should start earning for a living." 

"what nonsense?! she's our daughter, our responsibility. Princess need this clothes, I don't want other students to think she can't afford new clothes, they might bully her!"

"bully? did you forgot how many times that brat was reported for bullying back in high school?"

"because they started it and it's only right for princess to retort back. Forget it! i'll go change so we can have our dinner." Zenia tiredly said and hurriedly went upstairs before her husband would start ranting again. 

Klaus just shook his head looking at his wife's retreating back, apart from that, he actually wanted to discuss about Yeri's late birthday celebration. 

It will be a good opportunity for their daughter to know more people from the business industry and meet a prospective fiance.

It was almost 10 pm when Yeri and Levi left the school cafe, they were so engrossed playing Overlord, a popular online game and did not notice the time. 

On her way back to her dorm, her phone signaled a 'low battery' and promptly shutdown. 

"aiya~ If it isn't our School Queen, you shouldn't go home this late, this school is so wide and there's many dark areas, it will be dangerous for a pretty girl like you." the female security guard said in a friendly tone.

Yeri smiled and greeted her, she's so tired and sleepy so she didn't stay longer and went to her dorm. 

After punching in her door password, she immediately went in but to her horror, she was greeted by a chaotic sight! all the lights were on, random things were scattered on the floor, with her sofa and appliances moved.

What the hell?! did a burglar manage to get in?! or maybe some students messing up with her?

Yeri then heard a rustling coming from her bathroom, the culprit's still around? 

Pissed-off, Yeri walked towards the bathroom with no hesitation but just to be cautious, she grabbed her 3-inch stiletto lying nearby.

To her surprised, the bathroom door opened before she can even get close, revealing the culprit.

Yeri froze on her tracks and dropped the shoe she's holding.  

"Y-YOU!" Yeri roared pointing at the person who's also looking back at her. 

Unbelievable! just unbelievable! are her eyes playing tricks on her?! or he's perhaps a ghost who finally materialize to annoy her more?!

"hey, you're finally here, what's wrong?" Shin casually answered and took big strides towards her, hugging her tightly. "I miss you." 

"...." Yeri's mouth twitched, what's wrong? the whole scenario is wrong!

Yeri tried to break free from Shin but he didn't budged at all. "Shin Keir let go! are you crazy?! how did you get in here?!" 

Shin loosened his grip but still didn't let go. "Why are you acting crazily, i just wanted to surprise you. Also stop pointing at people, don't you know that's rude?"

Yeri squinted her eyes, just who the hell wants an eerie surprise?! had she been a normal woman she'll have a heart-attack from too much anxiety. 

"Why is my place so messy what did you do? and how the hell did you manage to get in here?!"

"oh this? don't mind it..." Shin finally let her go and casually went to get a bottled water from her fridge.

"...." 

"I was bored earlier so i took the liberty to check the things that needed replacement. First, that sofa, it looks cute but the quality is bad, this table isn't smooth at all, the oven only have few functions and why are you using plastic cups and utensils? blah...blah...blah..."

"...." heck, is he her Father now?

"...and this dorm is so small, you know I can arrange to have the next two rooms after this rented and remove all the partitions to combine them into one." Shin seriously stated.

"no i refused, it's not like i'll stay here forever." Yeri crossed her arms, looking irritated. 

Is he bragging his money again? her dorm is already considered expensive since she don't have to share rooms with other students.

"Shin, you can't just barge in here just like now, what if i'm sharing room with another student? you haven't tell me how did you manage to get in yet." Yeri helplessly settled on the sofa.

"nothing to worry, I'm aware that you're not sharing with anyone." Shin took the chance and also settled on the sofa, resting his head on her lap. "also were one of the School sponsors so i can come in whenever i like."

"...." damn it! is there any establishment not related to him? 

"but your dormitory is obviously restricted, so i climbed the wall ladder at the back near your window." Shin nonchalantly continued.


"...." Yeri gaze at Shin, puzzled. 'Climbed?' the great CEO Shin Keir climbed a wall ladder wearing a black business suit? 

"by the way, why can't i contact you? I was worried so i came here." Shin suddenly asked, his deep, dark eyes staring at her like a death scythe. "did you blocked me?" 

"...." f*ck i'm doomed!

Almost 4 YEARS AGO      *Nobody's POV*

Jade and Lucas are walking in the park downtown. Jade's hair is in two ponytails that stop at her shoulders with bows at the top. She has thick rimmed glasses that she pushes up every 2 minutes. She is wearing overalls with a rainbow striped shirt underneath and rainbow colored shoes. She was shorter than most girls her age, and Lucas was a bit taller. Her body is a bit curvy for her age, but Lucas could care less. He was her bestfriend because of who she was. Lucas has hair that stops a bit past his shoulders, his mom didn't want him to cut it yet. He also wears glasses but his are thin. His pants are a bit too big for his small size and his shirt is too long. Yes, they are nerds. The biggest nerds. They read and study together all the time, even when it's not necessary. But Jade has some news to break to Lucas and is very emotional at the moment. 

As she thought on it she stopped walking and so did Lucas. She went and sat on a bench, patting it so that he would sit next to her. 

Jade: Lucas .. my parents and I are moving to California. 

Lucas looked at Jade with wide eyes. His face was full of confusion and hurt. 

Lucas: What ? Why ? When ?? 

Jade: My parents think it's time for a "scenic change" as they called it. They said we're moving to New York. I really don't want to go, but I have to. We're moving in 3 days. They already bought a house and everything. I'm sorry Luke. I know you're about to start high school and I won't be here, but it'll be okay I promise. 

Lucas: Will you be back ?

Jade lowered her head and looked at the grass beneath their feet. 

Jade: I don't think so... at least not soon.

Lucas: I would get mad about it, but that won't change a thing. I'm going to miss you Jade. We have to make the most out of these 3 days. 

Jade looked up with excitement in her eyes. She got up and grabbed his hand as they left the park and went back home, since it was getting near to their curfew time.

The next 3 days were full of ice cream runs, riding bikes, having dinner with each other at home, and playing games together. But all of that had to come to an end as it was the day for Jade and her parents to move away.

Jade's parents were putting the last of their suitcases in the car while Jade was saying her goodbyes to Lucas.  

Lucas: I'm going to miss you butterfly. Pinky Promise to take care of yourself. 

Jade grabbed his pinky with hers and promised. 

Jade: I promise. Promise to make some friends. Do well in school and don't forget about me. 

Lucas: I could never forget about my butterfly. 

Jade's mom (Josie) walked up and told Jade it was time to go.

Josie: Hi Lucas. I'm sorry, but we have to go now. Nice seeing you before we leave. 

And Josie walked back to the car waiting on Jade to follow. 

Jade hugged Lucas one last time, and walked to her car, meeting her parents. As the car drove away, Jade looked through the window and saw Lucas and waved Goodbye. He waved at her as the car started going farther and farther down the road. To Lucas, that would possibly be the last time that he would see Jade. But Jade knew that she had to come back. She was determined to get her bestfriend back one day.

NOW    *Jade's POV*

"JADE COME HERE" my mom yelled. I looked over myself in the mirror and started walking downstairs. I walked into the living room where my mom was sitting and saw she was holding a letter. 

"YOU GOT ACCEPTED!!" she yelled

I widened my eyes and took the letter from her hands. I read over it and as soon as I saw "Congratulations you've been accepted into New York University" I screamed and jumped. 

"AHHHHH OMG OMG AHHHH" I screamed

"Okay calm down okay .. we have to get stuff for your dorm . We have to get you some new clothes!! SHOPPING!!" My mom said

I nodded my head still smiling just as hard, on the verge of tears. My mom is literally like my bestfriend, aside from Tia. She's a doctor and my father is a lawyer. They both get paid VERY nicely, which is why we live in a big two story house in a gated community. Tia has been my bestfriend since I first moved here. She got her acceptance letter last week, which is why I thought I didn't get accepted. 

Mom: "School starts in two months, so we have to start shopping and preparing your dorm soon. You can leave here early to get use to living there again." 

"Mom, I'm going to be so nervous !! OMG, let's start shopping now" I said

Mom: "Okay let me go get dressed."

I said okay and ran back upstairs to call Tia. After explaining and screaming and planning, she agreed to go shopping with my mom and I. I ended the call and got dressed in a casual outfit. 

10 minutes later, Tia pulled up to my house. We held a conversation and 20 minutes later we all got into the car to go to the mall.

We arrived at the Mall and Tia and I instantly went to Victoria's Secret while my mom went to some other stores. We picked multiple underwear and bra sets and fragrances. After leaving there, we went into more clothing stores than I can count. We met my mom at the food court and ate pizzaaaa. Pizza is my favoritest thing in the whole wide worlddd. 

After we finished eating, we went back to the house. 
My father's home now and I can't wait to tell him that I got accepted!!!!

I grabbed as many bags that I could carry and hurried inside the house. I dropped the bags into my room and ran outside to get the rest. I thought I would have one more time to run back, but I bought more outfits and shoes than I thought and had to go back to the car 2 more times after the first two. 

I saw my father in the kitchen and greeted him. 

Me: "Hey papa!! GUESS WHAT" 

Papa: Let me guess, you got accepted into NYU ?

Me: MAMA HOW COULD YOU TELL HIM BEFORE ME ?!

Mama came into the kitchen laughing. 

Mama: I'm sorryyy I was just so excited for you!!

I shook my head and told papa my plans. After the talk, we had dinner. Yes, I ate again because the lunch didn't fill me up and I eat a lot, OKAY SUE ME. After dinner, I went upstairs to shower and got into bed. Tomorrow, Tia, my mom, and I will go to New York to get me and Tia's dorm room situated. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Along the Pedestrian Shopping Street. Inside one of the malls. 
Xue Meining was showing the true meaning of extravagant spending.
"Hmm… this, this and this pink one, give me one of each!" Xue Meining exclaimed. Engrossed in her shopping, she had long forgotten about the time as she dived from one branded shop to another. As for Ling Yun, he had long become a human trolley, with both hands and arms piled up with shopping bags. The only seemingly free space left for one to hang the next shopping bag on was his neck. His expression was as agonized as one could be. Were it not for the extraordinary spirit he had honed in his quest for divinity, his tears would be filling the mall now! 
Having chosen a black, a white, and a pink colored short skirt of the same kind, Xue Meining squeezed them into Ling Yun's grasp before dashing towards a shoe shop. 
"Uhm… Ms. Xue, it's already 5:20…" Ling Yun reminded her with a miserable look on his face.
"What? It's only 5:20? Looks like we've still got plenty time before they close for the day! Don't worry, this mall closes at ten o'clock!" the surprised Xue Meining replied with a puzzled look.
"What I mean is… your appointment with Uncle Wang…" Ling Yun continued with a bitter smile.
"What uncle… Oh god, I almost forgot, the shopping's on hold. Let's go now!" Xue Meining exclaimed in a panic. Ling Yun had jolted her memory of the appointment to collect her caller IDs. Seeing that the shopaholic had finally stopped her shopping spree, Ling Yun let out a sigh of relief. He was eternally grateful to this Uncle Wang. Once Xue Meining set her mind to it, things were done with haste. Thus, in a matter of minutes, they were out of the shopping mall and at the carpark.
In a single motion, Ling Yun threw all the shopping bags into the Ferrari, feeling as if a huge burden had been removed from him. That was because the two small sandbags were still on his legs!
"Ling Yun let's go over there. It's just in front of the cross junction." Xue Meining said 
Ling Yun followed obediently. He did not have any qualms about doing anything so long as it was not shopping with her. As the two hurried along, it took no more than a few minutes for them to reach their destination. Being in a rush to get back to school before all lessons ended, Ling Yun decided to stay at the entrance while Xue Meining entered the office to get the numbers. Within ten minutes, she was done and left the office. It seemed this person called uncle Wang had prepared everything well in advance.
"Here! These four sim cards are for you, I will be keeping one for myself. Another fifty thousand dollars gone!" Xue Meining uttered as she pushed four of the sim cards into Ling Yun's palm. Ling Yun scratched his head and glanced at Xue Meining with a baffled look.
"Weren't these numbers given to you by Uncle Wang? Why did you still end up paying?"
Xue Meining rolled her eyes before speaking in a slightly irritated tone, "Are you dumb or what? This type of numbers is normally unobtainable. In addition, whatever number it is requires a call charge fee when used. And since they went so far as to give us all these numbers, there's no way they are gonna pay our call charge fee as well, right?" 
Ling Yun finally realized what was going on. A favor is a favor, a system is a system and business is business. Everything was in black and white, there was no gray area.
"Of course, usually, such numbers are reserved for the rich. Thus, these ten or twenty thousand dollars worth of call charge fee is nothing to such people. In fact, Uncle Wang was kind enough to accept just ten thousand dollars for each card, which is, of course, doing a big favor to us." Xue Meining explained to Ling Yun as they walked.
Ling Yun nodded his head in silence and was grateful to this lady for teaching him this lesson. If he had not known, he would have ended up being taken advantage of by Tang Meng. Now, it was his turn to take a huge bite out of Tang Meng's wallet! 
"Hey Ling Yun, that mall looks not bad. It has a couple of international brands on display. Let's go in for some shopping…" 
Ling Yun was in the midst of thinking how he should butcher Tang Meng but the moment he heard the word 'shopping', he was jolted from his thoughts. It was as if he had been petrified as he stood dead in his tracks!
*Cough cough* "Hey Meining, I have already skipped the afternoon lessons. For a studious and serious student like me to do anymore is unforgivable!" Ling Yun frantically replied in hopes of persuading Xue Meining.
With a valid reason at hand, Ling Yun pushed on, "Today's Saturday. After school, I still gotta get back home, so let's continue this another time…" 
Xue Meining stared at Ling Yun before letting out a snort and in seconds, she was bursting with laughter. Her body rocked back and forth as she tried to hold back her laughter.
"You? Studious and serious? Hahahaha… this is killing me…" Xue Meining struggled to speak in between her laughter. It was so intense that her stomach was starting to hurt! After all, to be able to praise oneself without a shred of self-awareness was only possible for the thick-skinned Ling Yun!
Having finally managed to stop her laughter, she wiped away the tears in her eyes before exclaiming, "Ling Yun my dear, you can stop with the lies, you're infamous in Qingshui High after all. Alright, since I have held you back for so long, I guess it's time I send you back."
Seeing that Xue Meining had finally relented, Ling Yun immediately hooked his arm around hers as if fearing she might go back on her words. Together, they walked towards where they parked the car.
It was 6:20 as Xue Meining pulled the car over at a secluded spot roughly 200 meters away from Qingshui High. 
"I don't want to let those students spread any baseless rumors so I'll be stopping here instead, okay? Oh and remember to take the sandalwood case at the back of the car."
"Oh yeah, also remember to use that…20999999 number okay? Promise me okay? I'll be calling you tomorrow!"
Xue Meining did not know why she had said that and the more she thought about it, the redder her face turned. For herself, she took the phone number: 21999999.
As for Ling Yun, who was busy packing his stuff, he couldn't care less about what number to use. Weren't they all the same anyway? Nevertheless, he still nodded his head obediently. 
"Ling Yun, I… Just one more question." the little lady stuttered incoherently. Her hesitation was obvious to all.
"Yeah, what's up?" Ling Yun prompted.
"During the accident, before performing acupuncture on the old man, why did you beat up Sun Xing?"
Xue Meining could feel her face getting hotter as she tried her best to remain calm. Behind her big round eyes, she was filled with anticipation as she looked at Ling Yun, awaiting his answer.
Without stopping to think, Ling Yun merely smiled and replied, "I didn't care what he does to Zhuang Meifeng but he shouldn't have pushed you."
At that moment, Xue Meining's pretty face was filled with pleasant surprise, the kind which was hard to conceal.
With school having ended long ago, Xue Meining was determined not to attract any unnecessary attention from possible students remaining in the vicinity. Thus, once Ling Yun had picked up all his items, she gave him one last smile and a wave before speeding off in her Ferrari. 
Ling Yun watched as the Ferrari sped off into the distance, his gaze changing ever so slightly while his expression looked slightly perplexed. So this is the life of those living at the top in this world, huh? Ling Yun thought to himself. To live in a large villa with an amazing view and to drive a limited edition race car. To be able to pull a policeman's uniform without worrying about the consequences and to be able to get such good numbers with just a call. To spend ten to twenty thousands of dollars on shopping within just a few hours without batting an eyelid. To be able to spend money as easy as unwinding the tap. This was the life of those at the top! 
Only after Xue Meining's Ferrari had disappeared completely from his view did Ling Yun regain his senses. With a firm gaze and a confident smile, Ling Yun started walking towards the school entrance.
"Hey, look. Isn't that Ling Yun? Why is he carrying so many items?" 
"Versace! Boss! Nike! iPhone 5!… He's carrying so many branded items…"
"Where the hell did he get all those from? Where did the money come from? Those at least cost forty to fifty thousand dollars!" 
"What's that in his hands? Isn't that a sandalwood box? That looks pretty unusual!" 
There was chatter everywhere as the grade 12 students leaving the school watched as Ling Yun walked towards the entrance with numerous shopping bags. Many students' eyes were wide with disbelief when they saw all the branded items Ling Yun had on hand. They were especially curious about the interesting antique box Ling Yun was carrying.
As for Ling Yun, he was unfazed by the whispers and gazes of the onlookers as he strutted proudly. This was what he would call walking with grandeur! 
"Hah, if only you guys knew about my mobile number, I bet your heart would drop!" Ling Yun muttered under his breath with a proud smile. In this technologically advanced era, information was everything. Thus, the most impressive thing may not be branded items but perhaps a single string of numbers.
Along the corridor outside the grade 12 classrooms.
 "Quick, look! Isn't that Ling Yun? Look at all those bags he's carrying."
"It's really him, look at that… isn't that Versace…?" a sharp-eyed girl exclaimed in shock as she observed the bags swaying in Ling Yun's hands as he walked with vigor in the distance. 
In the blink of an eye, various students from class 1 to class 6 of grade 12 who were still in school were all looking out of the windows at Ling Yun. 
It was not a shock to see a student holding onto a branded item in this day and age. However, it was a different story if Ling Yun was the one holding the branded items. The whole grade 12 corridor was now in an uproar. 
Ning Lingyu, who was waiting patiently for her brother in her class, was shaken by the sudden commotion. She then rushed out to see what was going on.
In Class 3 of grade 12.
"Shanshan, Shanshan, come on out. Ling Yun's really back!" Zhang Ling shouted as she ran into the classroom, waving her hands frantically.
Cao Shanshan, who was sure that Ling Yun had been avoiding her for the day, was fuming with anger as she packed her bag and prepared to return home. However, upon hearing from Zhang Ling that Ling Yun was back in school, she immediately ran out of the class.
"Where?!" Cao Shanshan yelled.
"Look, he's over there, walking towards the dorm entrance! Look at that fella carrying all that branded goods!" Zhang Ling replied as she pointed her finger in the direction of the dorm.
As Cao Shanshan's eyes followed the direction of Zhang Ling's finger, she almost exploded from the rage. With her sharp eyes, she could clearly see Ling Yun's chubby figure walking, with numerous branded goods in his hands and arms. Those were the most expensive brands!
Didn't Zhang Ling say that the two of us were worlds apart? That was why I decided to throw away my quiet yet lavish lifestyle. I decided to wear the most ordinary clothing and the most ordinary purse and bags. All this was just so that I could become someone you could relate and feel comfortable with! To change the way you see me! Yet now, not only did you skip lessons without a word, you even dare to come back with all those branded goods?! What is it you're trying to do? To show off? Or… are you trying to relate to me? To conform to my lifestyle?
Cao Shanshan frown as her head filled with different thoughts and emotions. She was unable to understand the reason behind Ling Yun's actions. That being said, she was determined to find out by hook or by crook!
"Come on, let's wait for him at the entrance!" Cao Shanshan said to Zhang Ling.
Cao Shanshan stretched her legs and with a twist of her petite waist, she sprinted down the stairs with Zhang Ling in tow.

"Come on, Lis. Just visit me okay? I really miss you so much." I said while pouting my lips. 

Im on a phone call with my bestfriend , Lisa. Since i moved to New Zealand i already missed her.

"I will visit you, unnie. Just wait. Ill be there okay?" She said. I sigh.

"Okay. Ill wait for you. I gotta go. Take care lisa." I said and ended the call.

I moved to New Zealand just to study.

I missed Korea so much. And it is my 1 year staying in New Zealand.

I changed my clothes and then i went out my dorm.

I walked the busy sidewalk of New Zealand.

"Hey Jennie!" I smiled as i saw my friend, Katie.

I approaced her.

"Hey Katie how are ya?" I asked her

"Doin' good. How about you?" She asked.

"Also good." I replied back.

"Wanna grab some coffee? Its hella cold nowadays." She said

"Yeah sure, i would love to." I said

We went towards a coffee shop named TaeCafe 

We went to find a seat for us two and we ordered.

"So, how's school?" She asked

"Pretty stressful, but im handling it." I said and chuckled

"School sucks anyways." She said and i just laughed at her.

"Your about to graduate! Im so happy for you." She added

"Thanks gurl, my graduation is coming up 2 months from now." I said

"Good for ya jennie." She said and i just smiled.

Our order have just arrived

"Thank you." I said and thanked the man.

We sipped our coffees and we decided to go shopping.

We went out of the cafe and called a taxi to bring us to the mall.

30 minutes later...

We arrived at the mall and we went in.

"You still love Gucci and Chanel right?" Katie asked

"Ofcourse. They're my babies." I said and chuckled.

We went inside the gucci store and i bought 29 new items.

We went inside chanel also and bought 45 clothes and 10 perfumes.

"Gurl, why are you so rich? You spent $14,000 dollars on Gucci and $50,000 dollars on Chanel. Im so shook right now." She said

I just chuckled at her.

"My mom loads my credit card all the time." I said to her and smiled

"Well, i guess she's rich" She added and she smiled

"Hey, wanna eat at mcdonalds? My treat" i asked her.

"Oh yas!" She said.

We went to mcdonalds and we found a sit for only two person.

I left the clothes that i bought in the table and i went to the counter to order our foods.

"Hello Maam, Welcome to Mcdonals what will you order?" The cashier asked.

"I would love to order 2 Ala King Chicken Filet, 2 Chicken Burger and then the drinks are going to be 2 Ice Tea" i told her.

"That will be $98 dollars maam." She said and i handed her the cash.

I waited at the side and few minutes later,  our order arrived.

I grab the tray and went back to our seat and we ate.

30 minutes later....

"Im full." Said Katie

"Me too. Lets go now?" I asked her and she nodded.

I grabbed the clothes i bought and we went out the Mcdonalds Fastfood and went to the exit of the mall and ride a taxi towards my dorm.

40 minutes later...

We have arrived at the dorm. Katie's dorm is few blocks away from mine so she's going to walk.

"I had fun today Jennie! Thanks for the treat." She said and walked away while waving her hand. And i waved back.

I went inside my dorm and closed my dorm room.

I chanhed my clothes and take a nap for awhile.

What a tiring day.

At the end of summer Keria and Matt had to get ready to go back to their colleges, they said their good-byes to their parents. When they went back to their colleges, they have the same dorm has last year but Keria got a new roommate. Keria saw her roommate's  stuff but she wasn't there. After Keria enter the room, her roommate came in and the roommate didn't look at Keria because she was unpacking and she said "hi my name is Angela, the reason I move into this room was because my past roommate moved out." but when Keira saw she roommate, she realized that her roommate is her best friend and when Angela looked she realized that her roommate is her best friend. They both hug each other of happiness and then laughed. Angela said "I'm so glad that you're my roommate!" Keria said "me too!" After meeting each other, Keria help Angela unpack her stuff. They went shopping for clothes, food, and other things. When they came back from shopping Matt called Keria, he said on the phone "keriiiiaaaaaa already miss you even though I met up with you 5 hours ago" Keira said "I miss you too but i have to go now, bye" then Keria hang up. When Keria hang up Angela's phone ringing, in a minute she said that she miss them too. Keria ask "who was that?" Angela said "oh it was my boyfriend RM, who called you" Keria said "oh it was my boyfriend Matt" Angela said "I thought you always hated him" then Keria said "I could ask the same for you" so both them explain how it went from  hate to dating. After they explain everything they went to cook food then they to sleep cause they have school tomorrow.

A girl named Keria, her family had to move to a new place because her dad got a new job. A few years later she enters high school she really hates the f**k boys and the mean girls but as she going to her classes she realizes that all of her classes are with f**k boy named Matt. One day as she as going home she got a call that her house fell down. Her dad got a call from his long lost best friend is willing to let Keria's family live his family, when they got there Keria realizes that she will be living with the person she hates the most, it's Matt.

I prefer to use American names because it is easier to remember but I'll use a few Chinese names as I'm reading and I'm writing this story for someone to read but these are the Chinese names I would use if I wasn't writing this for someone or I'll be using in the story.

Qin Guan had been running his business at the night market for eight days. More and more customers visited his stand, and the three boys had their hands full.
They were too busy to notice how weird their customers behaved.
The stand attracted an increasing number girls. It was a common occurrence for a group of female students to hang out by their stand and drool all over Qin Guan while they had some food. The reason was simple. The day that Qin Guan had started his business, a female student had visited the night market to buy some draft beer for her father, and she had seen this cute boy selling barbecue. She had taken a closer look and recognized him right away. 
“Gee, isn’t that the hunk from my high school?”
She had been staring at him for years from a distance, and now she was only half a meter away from him. It was like a dream come true for her.
The girl held onto the plastic bag with the draft beer while she stood by the barbecue stand, staring at Qin Guan to her heart’s content. Her father had hot beer for the first time that night.
When she arrived at home, the girl was still exhilarated. Wanting to share her happiness, she called dozens of her girlfriends to brag about her story of seeing the Prince Charming, which was not going to remain a secret for much longer.
That was how the news had spread. Now every student in the neighborhood knew that the graduate Prince Charming was running a stand in the night market.
Those who lived near the market came to buy barbecue and take a look. They believed that if they didn’t go, they would never get to see the Prince Charming again considering he had already graduated.
The small stand was swarming with girls every day. The Prince Charming still looked cute despite his choppy hairstyle.
When the girls saw that his new hairstyle could do nothing to undermine Qin Guan’s good looks, they all agreed that he definitely had to be the cutest school boy in all high school history.
Many years later, when junior girls would look at some boy on their cell phone screens and say that he was really cute, older girls would eye the boy critically and say, “I bet he wouldn’t still look that cute with a choppy hairstyle. Our high school Prince Charming was way cuter. You must have heard of Qin Guan, blah blah…”
Qin Guan’s moneymaking business ended in very a peculiar way.
A few days before the new school term, Qin Guan lended his barbecue cart to his cousin to help him earn some extra money on the weekends.
Zhou Jing and Li Jian came over to Qin Guan’s house very early to split their profits. They put all their profits of the past month together and carefully counted the money. They were surprised to find out that each of them would get more than 2,000 yuan.
Two thousand yuan was a fortune for any student in 1998.
Zhou Jing and Li Jian were jumping up and down in excitement, but Qin Guan let out a sign.
That money was not enough to buy him a good computer. But considering the fact that computers still ran on Windows 95, Qin Guan felt relieved. He was going to ask his parents to help him buy a cell phone.
On August 29, 1998 was the Chinese Valentine’s Day. 
It was a sunny Saturday, and Qin Guan’s parents stuffed the last piece of clothing into their bulging baggage before they went shopping for Qin Guan’s first cell phone.
They arrived at the Zhenhua Commercial Building, the largest shopping mall in the whole city. At that time, the cell phone counter on the first floor was considered an absolute luxury.
Qin Guan knew his way around very well, so he led his parents to the counter. There were few famous cell phone brands in China back in 1998. Nokia, Motorola, Siemens, Ericsson and Mitsubishi. These were all the brands that were available, and they cost quite a lot. Qin Guan and his parents observed every model carefully, but in the end, Qin Guan still decided to buy the Nokia 5110. It had a long standby time, a bright color, and was so shockproof it could even serve as a weapon when necessary.
Taking out the red envelope with the money his parents had given him plus the money he had earned working at the night market, Qin Guan paid over 5000 yuan for a blue Nokia 5110.
Customers in the mall were surprised that the couple would be willing to buy their son such an expensive cell phone when Qin Guan’s mother began to brag, “Well, my son was admitted into the Capital University of Finance and Economics, blah blah... He earned this cell phone through his own hard work during the summer, blah blah.”
Under the admiring gaze of everyone, she was shoved out of the mall by Qin Guan’s father.
On August 29, Qin Guan and his parents dragged their luggage to the train station and got on the train heading to the capital.
After one night’s journey, they arrived safely at the Beijing Station on the next day around noon.
Qin Guan arrived at his university on Sunday, which was peak time for freshmen registration. Qin Guan’s parents went to the Dean’s Office to pay the tuition fees while Qin Guan forced his way to the Student Reception Center to inquire about his dormitory.
When Qin Guan and his parents met up again, they were all sweaty and out of breath. 
Together, they headed to Qin Guan’s dorm. Qin Guan put his  luggage on his bed while his mother automatically started unpacking. She made the bed, hang up a mosquito net, dusted the closet and set the table. In less than an hour, she had cleaned up the whole room and put everything away.
Looking at the compact dorm room, Qin Guan realized that this was where his battle would begin.
There were six beds in total, three upper and three lower, a wall-mounted TV, a long table, three stools and six metal lockers stacked together, all in pristine 1990s style.
Qin Guan’s bed was the lower one nearest to the door. Mounted on the wall beside it was a telephone. It seemed that he could not open the door and answer the phone at the same time.
Except for the upper bunk above his bed, all the other beds were filled with stuff. Clearly his roommates had checked in earlier. 
Qin Guan’s parents looked at the dorm furniture, feeling rather satisfied with the place their son would live from now on.
When he had finished unpacking, Qin Guan decided to visit the restaurant. He would then find a hotel for his parents, and buy a washbasin, a thermos and other essential items.
After Qin Guan had made a hotel reservation for his parents, he returned to his dorm, which was now packed with people. Before Qin Guan could greet anyone, the door was opened again.
Amid clanking and jingling, eight people streamed inside the room. A little boy standing in the middle of the group was shoved inside.
A fashionably dressed woman was the first to approach the empty bed. She touched the bed beam and frowned slightly. Then she took a look at the closet.
The dorm was fully packed. Qin Guan was pushed to the side, but he didn’t feel annoyed. He dragged out a stool from behind a table and sat down to watch along with everybody else.
The woman was giving out instructions. Some people started unpacking the baggage while others began making the bed. She turned to the little boy behind her and said, “Is there nothing good here? Six people have to share one room, and look at how narrow the bed is! You’ve never left home, never even helped with any chores. You’re still a kid. Our home is around here, so how about I go and apply for commuting for you?
The little boy, who was undoubtedly a tsundere, was thinking to himself: “I’m old enough now! How could you say this in front of everyone? I want to die of embarrassment.” He yelled at his mother, “I’m already 16! I’m a college student! You’re driving me nuts! I can handle it by myself!”
“How can you not understand? I’m doing this for your own good. Now I feel terrible,” the little boy’s mother was thinking to herself. Out loud she said, “Okay, calm down. As long as you like it, I’ll be fine.” Then she turned to a woman who looked like a nanny and said, “Hurry up! Put away the clothes and clean the bedstead.”
While he looked on, Qin Guan started to introduce himself to his other roommates.
The boy who slept on the upper bunk near the window was Mu Lejiang from Northwest China, and right under his bed was Ye Dong from Northeast China. Both boys were majoring in International Trade.
Qin Guan liked Mu Lejiang and Ye Dong from the moment he met them. They both had a robust physique and sparse stubble, and appeared to be hearty laughers. Qin Guan knew that they were his kind of people. Only sloppy guys with a lot of body hair were real men.
The two boys whose beds were opposite Qin Guan’s appeared quite gentle. The lower bunk belonged to Wang Lei from the Water Towns of Southern Yangtze River, who wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and had a soft voice. He and Qin Guan were in the same Accounting class.
The upper bunk belonged to Li Jie, a Cantonese boy from the Department of Economics and Management. Short though he was, he seemed capable and smart.
The three boys were talking animatedly when they saw that all the little boy’s stuff had been cleaned up.
The boy’s mother came over and told Qin Guan, “Oh, so you’re another one of Xiaoyang’s schoolmates. You must have been admitted to the Beijing Film Academy.”
The little boy’s mother held Qin Guan’s hands and observed him for quite a while. Qin Guan felt puzzled. Behind him, Wang Lei could not help laughing out loud.
Perhaps feeling that she had gone a bit too far, the boy’s mother hastily let go of Qin Guan’s hands. She dragged the little boy to the front and said, “Xiaoyang is younger than you. Since you will all be living in the same dorm, would you please help take care of him and forgive him any mistakes he makes?”
Even the most careless of parents loved and planned for their kids.
Xiaoyang’s roommates all promised her politely. Then Xiaoyang insisted that his family leave. When they did, Xiaoyang sank onto a stool and wiped his sweat, saying, “I’m Liu Xiaoyang from Beijing. I turned sixteen this year.”
Liu Xiaoyang was truly younger than his roommates. He was fairly smug because he had been skipping grades since primary school, and he was currently majoring in Finance at the Capital University of Finance and Economics. Apparently his goal was to become a part of the social elite.
Their dorm consisted of two sloppy guys, an aspiring socialite, two gentlemen, and a sloppy handsome boy. They were all easy-going and quickly felt right at home with each other after spending some time talking and laughing. Noticing that it was almost dark, the six boys decided to have their first dinner party.


Qin Guan was reborn and sent back to his final semester in High School 18 years ago. Getting a second chance at life, he works hard to turn things around and eventually become a Prince Charming. The room exploded with a loud boom before I fainted.

When I opened my eyes, Shelly held up a protective barrier with her mana as Ellen tried to shake me awake.

The entire dorm building was in shambles. Some parts of the room was swallowed up by the fire from the candles.

The fire danced to present a play of a frog turning into a prince. The fire mimicked the expressions of a lovely princess who became enthralled by the prince who used to be a frog.

I heard a faint hum of a sweet lullaby ringing in my ears as if it was desperately trying to lull someone to sleep.

There was glitter and petals of flowers made from fire that drifted in the air as the wind from one of the candles kept them afloat.

The ceiling fell down to show a beautiful night sky filled with brilliant stars populating the wide space of darkness.

The fire sparkled colours of red, blue and orange as it carried onto the perfect green grass fields as it escaped the building.

Was I dreaming? The scene in front of me resembled a wonderful apocalypse as the fire spreading out was beautiful but tragic.

"We should get out of this building," Ellen supported me as Shelly kept her barrier up.

Shelly concentrated on adding more defences to her barrier as she calculated where to add more mana.

Thankfully, the other students did the same as they protected themselves by forming a barrier.

Fortunately, it was only the middle school section of the campus that was filled by the raging fire.

"Go get more teachers!" Daniel yelled at the students as he used mana to try to put out the spreading fire.

However, Daniel's spell was quickly turned useless as the fire was not an ordinary fire. Fire that was fueled by mana would be unstoppable unless the spellcaster was dead, ran out of mana or decided to cancel the spell.

That was the reason why there were no big fires that spread like wildfire in the first district. No one had enough mana to cause a catastrophe. 

'How I wish the school was destroyed to go back to the third district,' I had always unconsciously thought in my mind. 

Maybe my strong urge to escape from the school had caused the fire to uncontrollably damage only the middle school section of the large campus.

When one of the barriers broke from the student beside me, the student screamed from fear, "I don't want to die today!"

The student cried as she could not summon enough mana to create another barrier.

She desperately chanted more spells as another kind student let her inside their barrier.

I instantly felt guilty as I never intended for this scene to happen.

'Put the fire out immediately!' I thought as I visualized everything going back to normal before the disaster happened. 

The fire had immediately disappeared as all the students and teachers glanced at each other in confusion.

The students cheered from great relief as they put down their barriers.

However, the building remained in ruins from the fire.

"I will make sure to investigate the reason for this incident," Daniel tried to assure the students as he promised to find the culprits.

Shelly, Ellen, and I instantly ran back to my room to get rid of the evidence. 

Who knew what the consequences would be if they discovered the cause of the fire!

I knew it would be incomparable to the previous incidents where I went to the dean's office to get punished.

Unfortunately, both Luke and Alex held the burnt crystal candles in their hands in my torn down room.

I hid behind Ellen as Shelly avoided the gazes of both Luke and Alex as she stared at the floor.

"Buying candles?" Alex questioned me as he gripped one of the candles tightly enough to break it in half.

I didn't answer Alex as I trembled while gripping onto the back of Ellen's pyjamas.

"Rika is not from the first district, so she didn't know that she wasn't supposed to light up all the candles at once," Ellen tried to defend me.

I nodded my head even though I knew it was a pathetic excuse.

I knew that not knowing didn't excuse that I burned down the entire dorm and endangered the lives of other people.

"Where did you get these toys from?" Luke scarily asked me.

"From the shopping mall," Shelly answered for me as her voice staggered into silence.

I was too scared to face both Luke and Alex as they focused most of their attention on me rather than Ellen and Shelly.

"Who would think those cheap crystal candles would cause this?" Ellen confessed under the pressure while gesturing to the ruins.

I couldn't let Shelly and Ellen cover for me anymore. I possessed the most amount of blame from the three of us as I was the one to light up all the candles.

"I lit up those candles to celebrate my birthday," I cried as I confessed my mistake.

My legs collapsed as I broke under the intense pressuring stares from both Luke and Alex.

"I put them all on a cake and lit them all up at the same time because that's what we do in the third district," I revealed one of the traditions from my past life.

I was captured and put onto a stake to be lit on fire as part of the ongoing witch hunt conducted throughout the land. I had to do something. But, this life really sucked. 

This all started when I was accidentally killed by God. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you. It was just that I was overworked lately by my superior and I just wanted some time to relax and vent my stress out," he confessed.

"So, while I was snacking, I accidently dropped one potato chip into the human realm where the child tripped over the potato chip onto a den of steep stairs." God guilty admitted.

So I reincarnated into the most adorable girl with the largest orange-speckled eyes that contrasted her pale white skin void of any imperfections.

'How could someone look this pretty?' I thought as I admired my new appearance.

I was nowhere close to this pretty in my previous life. Did God put me into this new vessel as an apology?

But some things were too good to be true.

"The nice way is where you willingly come with us back to the first district and the hard way is where we forcibly take you back, which would be hard for all of us," Lucius gave me a warning.
Why was my life so depressing? He practically meant I didn’t have a choice!

Few months later, I was at a party that I planned to escape from my fiancé’s family.
"I still get to continue with my naps on the weekends?" I tried to confirm with them.
No one answered as I almost cried from giving up my rare nap times from the mess I got involved with. This life was too bothersome!
