When he got back home, he finally got rid of the negative emotions he had from being scolded by the chief editor. He went back to his room after having dinner.
Kento Nara could not wait to open his computer and read the new chapters that he had been saving for a week on the NICONICO website. He checked the time after he finished reading. It was 10 p.m. He quickly opened another light novel website named "Let's Be A Light Novelist."
Kento Nara had rarely logged onto this website previously because he used to think that the light novels published online were all rubbish.

If the rejected novel became a hit on the website, that would be humiliating for the editor in question.

However, there was now a novel that gave him many restless days and nights. It was called "Loading File of Tokyo."
Back when it first came out, it was in popular demand. But Kento Nara looked down on it. He even thought, arrogantly, that all the readers were paid to leave good reviews because only he knew the most about light novels. 
He remained indifferent when one, or even 10 people recommended it to him. But he became curious when the whole forum began buzzing about this single novel.

On the contrary, the main character in "Loading File of Tokyo" used this ability to flee and commit crimes!
Besides, the writer had made the introduction very suspenseful, exciting, and intriguing. The main character would die a horrible death every time before loading the files. However, the sense of satisfaction when the culprit was arrested after loading the files following his horrible death felt wonderful to Kento Nara.
He was surprised by such a feeling. There were not many highly intelligent, brave, and astute male leads in Japanese light novels. Most of them were passionate but relied too heavily on their emotions to set off their primordial energy. Many readers had criticized such novels, asking, 'Is the main lead going to be dead if he cannot set off his primordial energy one day?'
On the other hand, internet novels on Huaxia were different. The main character was usually diligent and steadily improving his skills, pulled back from the brink of death each time by a new skill. Gradual skill improvements like this allow the readers to put themselves in his shoes as if they were improving with him together.
But obviously, Kento Nara did not know about that. "Loading File of Tokyo" was actually a novel with a similar character who gradually improved his skills. The main character had become distorted now, he was extremely savage even when he was facing the police. All he could feel was dismay.
The ability to load files was fascinating, but it drove Manatsu Hokuto, the main character, crazy. Occasionally, Chiba Shiori would describe Manatsu Hokuto's mental instability through his suicidal ideations. 
Manatsu Hokuto's experience was very well depicted by Chiba Shiori. Many readers shared the same feelings when they put themselves in his shoes.
Thus... If Manatsu Hokuto, the main character, carries the same antisocial personality in the future chapters, perhaps the readers will feel awfully bad.

The next moment she completely blanked out having no sense as to what was happening around her.
Opening her eyes she looked around half conciously, trying to figure out her surronding. She immedietly knew she was not in her room. The room, made of wood, had kinda ancient-like feel with some antique paintings hung on the wall.
 ' I definitely remeber passing out in the streets. Even if my friends had picked me up i don't have anyone whose house is this old though', she thought deeply with her head sunk low. 
The door was opened by a man wearing clothes that resembled a knight's uniform. She stared at him for quite a while until his voice disrupted her train of thoughts. 
" I have completed the tasks you ordered", the knight said while kneeling. 
Vanessa was still in a daze as she was not able to comprehend the situation she was in. She turned her head only to see a reflection in the mirror unfamiliar to her. Her hair and eyes shone brightly with violet and her face was exceptionally pale, as to her lips, it was plum red. 
Her face fell, when she remebered a person who matched this description. It was as clear as blue sky to her, that it was Violet, a character of the novel " The healer from another world". Violet was the head of Savine Family. It was a part of the three strongest family which was a bunch of monsters.  She inherited the title when she was only 16 and continued to maintain her status as the head, despite the firece competition for the title. A young prodigy she was, initially had not been recognized. The reason being her core passive to any elements of life.
The world in the novel originally had two fundamental elements, light mana and dark mana. Every creature was to contain either of them to sustain. While light mana was considered sacred, the dark mana was taken to be destructive. Humans together with other creatures contained core in their bodies which was the basis for mana. 
As soon as a baby is born, it is immedietly made to undergo a test to recognize the compatibilty of core with light mana. By chance, the core responded to the latter, it was immedietly killed. There was only one clan which was holder of dark core, having a history as deep as an abyss. 
The lord of the Demon Clan was the second male lead, who had never been known for mercy.

A normal college student who loves reading novels, transmigrates into a novel. Being a fan of transmigration, Vanesse would've been more than happy to transmigrate into a novel world.

Yuuki was looking around Wagnaria. It had been a while he came to this place. He noticed Popura came to them.

"Ah, it's the guest! It's been a while," Popura was quite surprised to see him.

Yuuki nodded at her, "Can you give us a seat for three people?"

Popura nodded like a good girl, "Sure, please follow me."

Tsubasa and Ruki were quite surprised to see a little girl to work in this family restaurant. They were wondering if this restaurant employed someone underage. If it like that they needed to inform it to the nearest police.

They became even more surprised to see a waiter who punched a guy and a waiter who had katana on her waist. They were wondering what kind of restaurant was this.

Popura guided them to the table and asked their order.

Yuuki ordered his favorites Jambalaya and mango lassi. Tsubasa ordered curry and melon soda. Ruki ordered cheesecake and earl gray tea.

Then they started to talk about his novel.

"If I'm not wrong you're making Fairy Tail, right?" Ruki asked. She knew that the young man in front of her was the most popular mangaka but she didn't expect him to write a light novel.

"He also writes a light novel," Tsubasa said.

"What novel?" This was Ruki's first time to hear Yuuki was writing a light novel. 

"Sword Art Online," Tsubasa said. She had bought it on the first day and she fell in love with these works. She was wondering if there would be a virtual reality game in the future. She had imagined that she would play as a warrior and cut all of her enemies and monster. She wanted to play a virtual reality game. 

Ruki was surprised when she heard it. She also had read that book from Tsubasa and even though she liked romance novel this novel was great, especially the love between Kirito and Asuna. She was wondering if it because of his experience with a lot of girls. She was wondering if she had a boyfriend would her manga become more interesting.

Ruki looked at Yuuki who was talking with Tsubasa about manga. It would be great if her boyfriend had the same job as her so they could support each other and would understand her better. She blushed when she remembered her only boy acquaintance was Yuuki. 

'Sigh, it'll be great if he is a single,' Ruki knew that he had a lot of girlfriends. She shook her head and joined their conversation.

"Will you stop your 'Sword Art Online'?" Tsubasa was worried that the reason Yuuki wrote another novel was that he gonna dropped Sword Art Only. If that was the reason she would definitely come to his home and protested to him every day until he started writing again. 

Yuuki shook his head and said, "No, I still continue writing Sword Art Only."

"Then why did you write another novel?" Ruki was quite confused.

"It's because I want to conquest the manga and anime world," Yuuki said. He would make his name going down on history as the father of otaku in the world. He would monopoly the game, manga, novel, and music business. His first step was both manga and novel.

Ruki was dumbfounded when she heard his reason but Tsubasa who heard his reason became more excited. She wasn't wrong, if she always with him, her life would be very excited. 

"Let me help you to conquest the world of manga and anime!" Tsubasa said with burning eyes.

Yuuki nodded at her, "Yes, please, lend me your strength!"

Ruki shook her head when she saw both Tsubasa and Yuuki enter their own world. She was also annoyed about being ignored by them.

"How are you going to conquer the world of manga and anime?" Ruki asked. 

Yuuki smiled mysteriously at her, "You need to wait for a few days." In a few days he would start his Kengan match at that time he would have Shounen jump on his hand.

"What kind of novel will you write next?" Tsubasa was curious. 

"Well, you need to wait for it, I don't want to spoil you," Yuuki said. He would write a novel about 'reincarnation' and 'another world' genre.

Popura nodded, "Then please enjoy your food." She said then left them.

They started to eat their food. Ruki and Tsubasa were surprised at the quality of the food. It was very delicious. 

Ruki looked at Yuuki while eating her cheesecake. She had been troubled about her male characters. Her editor had told her that her male characters were quite suck. Her editor had given her an advice to see a male body on the internet or to find male friend. She didn't know what to do then she remembered the young man in front of her. She looked at his body and gulped because of his muscle. She had heard from Tsubasa that his body was beyond amazing. 

Ruki took a deep breath and decided to ask him to become her model. She looked at him with a determined gaze.

Yuuki realized that Ruki was looking at him with a strange gaze. He wanted to ask her what was wrong but he heard someone call him.

"YUUKI-SENSEI!! CAW!!" 

Yuuki knew who was the one who called him. He turned his head and saw a lot of people who came with him.

Hi, guys, it will be my last novel that apparently gonna be my first finished one and after that, I'll make alternate stories other light novels that I and my friends made so far but because some of you is questioning why? Ian Ethern:
The only prince from the kingdom of Ethern who cursed from birth. Neglected by his father due to the death of his mother.

A small goddess that transported Kyrie to another world, also the author of the novel that Kyrie read for ten years.
Imogen Winstanley:
The protagonist of the novel that Kyrie read for 10 years. In that novel, she was described as a mad and crazy killer.
<chapter 17> She loops back to the same time frame of the world in the attempts to save the world and her lover. She sacrificed her status as a demi-god and all essence in order to create a phenomenon called the eternal loop that goes causes her to go back in the same time frame in her attempts to save the world and her lover. This phenomenon can only stop if she successfully saves her lover and the world and dies of old age/ naturally. If not, she goes back in the loop.
Sadly, she couldn't go against the predetermined fate. Current loop in this novel around her four thousandths, she descended into madness around her two-thousandth loop. 
She also came from the same world as Kyrie.

Laurel Ravenswood:
She is the lover that Imogen so desperately wants to save from all her attempts. Before meeting Imogen, her job was the captain of a group of guards that protects carriages from danger.

Sil Riverty:
<chapter 27>He used to be Kyrie's lover back on Earth. Before that, Kyrie and Sil met from Sil's job. Kyrie's father was going to whistleblow on a big corporation but got killed before anyone knows where those whistleblowing documents are. Sil's job is to obtain the information as to where these documents are. Sil betrayed Kyrie when he remembered the location.

Relic under possession: a teleporting relic that needs a lot of mana to operate
Nate: 
Also known as the Collector. He was named by Kyrie in their first encounter. He is known as the collector because he likes to collect rare and interesting things.
Goddess Vita:
She is the ruler of the living who looks over the mortals. Goddess of light and space. She controls the Infinity Abyss where she stores all the memories of the living beings and also potential fates that could happen to that person. She bestowed Kyrie with a name and the title of the holy paladin.
Supreme Witch Saskia:
A witch that uses human sacrifice to gain access to corrupted magic. She harvests corrupted mana from the mana inside people. She loves games and would do anything to make sure no one messes with her games. She loves thrills but impulsively seeks for them.
Cynthia Blackwood:
Fallen saintess
Magic: metal (special attribute), darkness
Fallen god Erebus:
He is the fallen god that both Imogen and Kyrie are trying to prevent from descending to the world because destruction inevitably would come if he does. His only way to descend is by using key relics that contain a lot of essence. That is why his servants (demons, fallen saintess, fallen paladin, witch) are gathering them.
Goddess Phanes:

These two words make Kyrie feel like his world is falling apart. After being a loyal reader of a novel for ten years, he feels destroyed to read that Ian, his favorite character, died without a single happy moment. Throughout Kyrie's life filled with misfortune, Ian became the light that gave him the strength to overcome his hardships to stand up again. Crimson flames twisted into a small whirl. The ice around the space melted into water—no, it vaporized into gas, instantly. 
	The flames coiled around her figure. 
	Left now was nothing but ash; flaky white particles descending to the ground like gentle snowflakes. In this field of ice, the lingering cinders were the only thing that didn't fit this blue world.
	When Curtis looked to that place, the girl now gone, "Who.."
	'Who did I just kill?'


	A sky whale docked beside a newly found pillar of land. The single giga pillar in center of the other surrounding pillar clusters, occupying the vast empty world. 
	Huge.
	It had to be at least half the size of the gargantuan pillar supporting Haital Kingdom. This pillar however, only had dense, thick woods surrounding the parameter, if not for the tiny bit of flat plain at the edge where the whale was hovering close to. Trees that varied in height, shape, shade, size and species interweave in harmony. 
	Violet clouds drifted across the darkening sky. The sun peeping from the horizon, half blocked by the abyss below. A gradation from a slight orange hue tapering into navy blue, before reaching an indescribable void at the very bottom. A hypothesized corrosive barrier made it impossible for any person to venture below. Anyone touching that realm would corrode into dust. At least, that was what legends say.
	A camp fire was started with a few dry branches picked fresh from the woods, combined with highly combustible commercial charcoal. This blackish-brown charcoal was something commonly used by adventurer as they would camp out frequently in the wilderness. A very thin distorting barrier enveloped the fire, whenever smoke touched the surface, it would turn into another sticky substance. This renewed substance is combustible. It would then trickle back into the flame and burn up. To put it simply, smoke was recycled back into a form of chemical liquid that would in turn produce heat and light. A resource-efficient fire.
	"Jeez..... this fire is really just not bright enough..", Ellis mumbled out loud.
	"Is it really?"
	Curtis sent her a look. 
	She held a think book in her hands, eyes squinting hard at the contents under the dim campfire light that flickered like a candle's flame. It was quite windy.
	In between her hand was a novel, not the spell book that Curtis would carry all the time.
	Ellis sent Curtis a pleading expression, to which Curtis understood the meaning to knowing Ellis too well.
	"Ok, ok, I get it."
	{Light orb}
	His index finger was sent to the sky. At the tip of the finger coalesced a tiny ball of luminous light. A basic spell that created radiant light using a small amount of mana. The light orb was tossed, moving in a zig zag before stopping. It hovered above her shoulder, like a lamp, illuminating the pages of the novel. 
	A comely smile was shown to Curtis.
	"Thank you Curtis."
	"Sure."
	They chuckled for a moment. Ellis was reading her novel with changing expressions for every page; Curtis studied the contents of his bulky spell book. Visualizing himself connecting notes and linking spells as he continued.
	The dilatory size of the book wasn't much of a concern. Curtis could always just shrink the size, or, at the same time, manipulating it's weight to a certain extent. The notes lit up whenever Curtis focused on a clause. 
	The world was slowly slipping into darkness, night was befalling. Lucky, the campfire generated warm light. A fuzzing feeling of vitality could be felt emanating from within the flames. 
	"Whaley sure is tired huh?" Ellis' voice rang.
	Curtis snuck a look to Ellis who was looking at the eyes of the whale, closed. The massive size of Whaley's body made it's eyes look like a peanut. A peanut that was as big as an adult's torso.
	"Sure is," Curtis returned his gaze to his spell book. His stomach made a pleasant sound, which reminded him about Ellis' usual skill where she could turn rations into delicious meals.
	Weird.
	The sound of Ellis puffing her cheeks and exaggerated gasps would leak out of her mouth unpredictability. Just what was the novel about? Curtis couldn't help but wonder how mere words could turn Ellis into a weird sound making machine; not sexual in any sort of way.
	Curtis snuck another look. What he found out, apparently, was that all those weird sounds she made, was not because of the novel. Instead, it was to attract his attention.
	"You're always so hooked up on that spell book of yours...",Ellis smack shut her novel with a snap, eyes narrowed at Curtis. 
	Curtis didn't know how to react to that.
	"I'm lonely."
	All of a sudden Ellis circled round Curtis, hugging him form behind. She rubbed her face against his cheek much like a cat.
	Curtis closed his spell book too—prudently. Putting it aside, he told Ellis to sit on his lap. Ellis jocularly accepted.
	Her soft bottom plodded down atop his legs. Naturally, Curtis made her lean against him, one hand coupled around her waist while the other fidgeted with her hands. Her soft, delicate hands.
	Well, at least to Curtis, it felt that way. Nevertheless, she was swordsman, because of this fact, hands were practically full of calluses, especially where the boney part meets the handle of the sword.
	"So what do you want to talk about?"
	"Erm, well," she pondered a bit, which looked somewhat cute in Curtis' eye, before continuing, "If one day, I were to become a part of the Jesters, you wouldn't hesitate kill me would you?" Curtis was caught surprised at the sudden remark. 
	She didn't turn around, her eyes afixed to her hand that Curtis was playing with. 
	"If one day you became a part of the Jesters huh..." Curtis thought about it.
	Jesters, a group that appeared out of nowhere. It was said that they had the capability to execute team fights with excellent coordination. Utilizing an array of unusual fighting styles to seduce the opponent, simply put it, unpredictable. Their origins, well, unknown. 
	Based on the sudden explosion in rumors surrounding their existence, they were told to be a cult-like existence that comprised of many small cliques of 5 to 6 people. It was unsure whether or not they had an operating base, but it was a possible speculation.
	Their unpredictable fighting style and coordination wasn't the scariest part. This group of hoodlums had the ability to mind control. Because of this, there appeared a theory whereby their excellent coordination was due to a mastermind backing their thoughts. Theoretically, they had merged consciousness; imagine having multiple brains sharing information with each other. The though of it sent chills down Curtis' spine. Something of this sort might actually be possible with an incredulously advance spell.
	'What if Ellis became brainwashed? What if I became brainwashed?'
	Was brainwashing really possible? As the mage he was, Curtis didn't know.
	Curtis couldn't reply. He was engaged with his thoughts, flipping around for information from the mental bookshelves shoved in the archive of his brain. Would they one day encounter one of these so called Jesters? Who knew?
	A good minute had past. 
	"Haha... I think I'm just thinking too much. This head of mine. When reading a novel, all sorts of weird things or delusions enter my brain.."
	Curtis restrained her fidgeting hands, his fingers interlocked with hers.
	There was a small spark but Ellis didn't notice.
	"Let's just hope that won't ever happen alright?" Ellis tilted her head slightly. From that angle, Curtis could see the hint of worry emanating from the slit of her round sky-blue eyes.
	"Yeah, pretty sure it wouldn't happen." 
	The legend regarding the Jesters became all the craze when a rumor appeared saying that one person had severed his links with the other Jesters. It was said that the person's identity and what he knew about himself were present. He was no longer controlled by the other Jesters,  independent. He called himself beings from another world and that they had arrived at the heavenly realm.
	No long after, he was caught brainwashing other people, and they too became believers. They were all locked up in a dungeon that was built deep underground. Tightly guarded by knights, improved security with barricades and winding routes that fooled like a maze.
	Because of his blunder, people around the kingdom found out how the brainwashing sermon was conducted. The victim had to either be under deep sleep or at the brink of giving up consciousness. Thus, adventurers who usually sleep light during explorations were unlikely to be brainwashed. 
	This rumor definitely had it roots coming from a pessimist— one that suffered from amnesia. Even during light sleep, the Jesters could very easily ambush someone and the next thing they knew it, they would have become one of them. So this rumor could be ruled out as a false discrepancy. 
	How does brainwashing work then?
	The merging of subconscious thought to how much of an extent could cause a total alteration of perception? Nobody knew. More so, that person was the first case to have escaped from the Jester group, after so many years.
	The campfire still burning, Curtis manipulated the barrier around it to dim the light output. A nice warm atmosphere, perfect for sleeping.
	"Curtis, could we like.. erm.. take turns patrolling.."
	New pillar, wild landscape, total darkness, nearest town at least an hours away..
	"Did you read a horror novel?" Curtis asked, Ellis shook her head, it was out of sincere concern. "I got it. So should I go first or..."
	"Together."
	Curtis made a difficult expression. Did this mean that they wouldn't get a good night's sleep tonight?
	"Perhaps. Let's just not sleep using our sleeping bags. This is a newly discovered piece of land so it would be easier to ready ourselves if a threat were to appear right?"
	"Something like that..." 
	Curtis turned his body and took out a large blanket from one of the baggage that hung on Whaley using wind magic. 
	Something like a levitation spell, though it wasn't manipulation of gravity.
	Using another spell, he turned the stiff log they sat on before soft, like a pillow without making it feel mushy at all.
	"Would this do?" Curtis held a smug. He was proud of his abilities as a mage.
	"Thank you." Ellis was smiling effusively. With this, they won't be sleeping in separate, but together under one blanket. Secretively, this was part of the reason why she requested that. What a smart move.


	Sha~ Sha~ Sha~
	Ellis slowly lifted her heavy eyelids. A groggy moan was let out as she sat up. Her hand rubbed her tired eyes. She hadn't slept, but was barely awake.
	Sha~
	Ellis stuttered still. She knew something was off. The sound came from the darkness not too far away.
	Curtis still lay quietly beside her.
	Narrowing her eyes and twitching her ears, she tried to discern the last know location of the rustling. 
	The dim campfire suddenly became brighter and luminous, as if knowing Ellis needed more light.
	"Yeah, I heard that too." Curtis sat up. The campfire had now erupted into a bleach-white egg bulb. The concentrated light and heat was carefully controlled in the magic barrier enveloping it.
	"What now?" Ellis asked. To normal people, this unpredictable event would have aroused much anxiety. Ellis was however, a swordsman—swordswoman. Something like this shouldn't scare her. 
	"I think we prepare ourselves. There are more than one targets, I think,"
	Both of them stood up and readied their stance, a light orb coalesced and drifted into the pitch dark. The tree barks became visible where the light touched. Moving deeper into the woods, Curtis commanded the orb to split into tiny, more diffused light seeds and scattered them in an arc with him at the centre.
	What come to light were many different silhouettes. Silhouette of trees; silhouette of leaves, the blurry shadow of fluttering grass and a figure. No. Multiple figures hanging by their necks; their heads bent in a weird way. 
	The shape of the silhouettes were so obvious, anyone could have guessed what it was it in one look.
	'Just how many were there?'
	Ellis' face went pale as snow. Her lips quivered slightly.
	Tyrant-class creatures were fine but this?
	"What is that... are they actually what I think they are?" Curtis looked on in disbelief. He had thought it might be some kind of crustacean beast. Craning his head towards Ellis' direction, he could see her shivering. Holding her sword, a cold bead of sweat dripping down her cheek. 
	Right, swordswoman wasn't as brave as initially thought.

It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories.

Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him.

Author: Basically speaking... it's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and I guess it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
