I share my thoughts on an anime I watch. I will write these reviews whenever I feel like and definitely not on a weekly basis. Also please watch these anime before even reading these reviews. Also also I know I'm writing stories which aren't going to be perfect just like all these anime, but sometimes you just want to express your feelings and be done with it.

Why cultivate when you could watch anime?
Such is the modern cultivator’s dilemma.

After reincarnating into a world where qigong cultivation is commonplace, our main character makes the obvious decision to become a weeb.

"Oh I'll go first! I like spending time with my friends, I've known them ever since my childhood. I also like watching drama and romance series. Sometimes I watch anime too. I really like strawberry ice cream and ice cream in general." Alissa said. "I don't really have a particular sport I like to engage in, but I    run with Mukendi, Lakela, and Chad. I was born with a weak heart, so running is something I do to make my heart as strong as I can. What about you Reduan?"

"I like playing basketball in my spare time. I'm a basketball player after all." Reduan said. "Besides playing basketball, I like playing games on the game console and sometimes I watch anime too. But I'm more into shounen superpower series. What I like to eat are hamburgers. What about you Bella?" 

"Me? I like spending time with my friends. My favorite dish is cheese spaghetti. Furthermore I watch action, drama and romance series in my spare time as well. I'm not really into anime though." Bella said.

"Anime has different genres so there are also action, drama and romance anime. You should check them out." Reduan said.

"Do you have any recommendations?" Bella asked.

"Sure. I'll send them to you on the phone." Reduan said. "We should watch them together some time."

"O-Oh c-cool..." Bella said taken off guard. "What about you Aslam?" 

"Sometimes I join Reduan in playing basketball." Aslam said. "I also like reading manga and watching anime of almost every genre. Pizza is my favourite food. What about you Kadilu?"

"I like exercising, improving my martial arts skills. I read too, because I like knowing more about the subjects that interest me such as history. In my spare time I watch anime and read manga of almost every genre as well. My favourite meal is rice with pondu." Kadilu said. 

"Pondu? What's that?" Reduan said chuckling.

"Something African for sure." Bella said. 

"Pondu is made from manioc, derived from the leaves of the cassava plant. Pondu leaves are very rich in carbohydrates and are gluten-free. I find it delicious, especially if my mother prepares it." Kadilu said. "Aida, tell us about yourself."

"I like spending time with my friends. In my spare time I also watch drama and romance series, including the anime ones. My favorite dish is Moroccan couscous. I don't really do much concerning sports." Aida said. 

"You'll have to move your body every once in a while." Aslam said. 

"Oh don't mention it." Aida said. "What about you Mariya?"

"I like reading books, going out with friends, reading manga and watching anime. Sometimes I watch anime together with Kadilu. My favorite genres are definitely romance, drama, mystery, school, comedy and slice of life. But I can pretty much watch anything though, if the plot and characters interest me that is. I really like chocolates. Concerning exercise, I regularly do cardios in the dojo of my brother." Mariya said. 

"Can I join your cardio sessions?" Aida asked.

"Sure." Mariya said. "Tell us about yourself, Mukendi."

"I like hanging out with my friends and browsing the internet for amusing videos and stuff. Alissa and I have the same friend group by the way, but I guess you guys already knew. I watch anime too, and I like curry." Mukendi said. "And you Aalt?"

"I like hanging out with friends, playing video games and watching anime. I like pancakes." Aalt said. "Now it's your turn, Natalie." 

"I like hanging out with friends too. Sometimes I play video games with Aalt, though I'm not really into them. I watch anime too. And I like Dutch mini pancakes." Natalie said.

"I love all of you guys!" Alissa said happily. "Today we got to know more about each other. We have become the closest of friends in such a short period of time. Let's all take a picture to capture this beautiful moment!"

"What a great idea!" Aida said.

"Do we really have to take a picture?" Kadilu said.

"Yes we do." Mariya said.

Alissa gave her phone to Miss Wolken.

"You want me to take a picture of all ten of you?" Miss Wolken asked.

"Yes please!" Alissa said. 

The ten were ready for Miss Wolken to take the picture. 

"Okay everyone! I'm about to take the picture!" Miss Wolken said. "Three… two… one."

Miss Wolken took the picture.

Alissa had the brightest smile, and Kadilu had the slightest smile.

Alissa captioned the picture with: 

"✌ & ❤ to the 🌍"

"Hey!The new episode just came out!"Shouted the next-door kid while hugging his $7.99 plushie that I gave him.


"Yeah,yeah I know."I responded emotionless.


He keeps reminding me that there are new episodes like I'm a 60 year old man even though I'm only 25.


Anime.

A cartoon like Series of shows full of character of different types.

I have been watching anime for about 2 years now.


I started watching anime since this kid came along in our neighborhood.

I still can't forget that day.The day when the kid arrived.His mother knocked on our door to give us freshly baked cupcakes.My mother and his mother chatted for hours and when I was about to close the door as they left,the kid stopped me and asked,

"Do you watch cartoons?"

"Yes I do.I'm also a programmer.Why do you ask?"I replied.

"Cool so do you know about anime?"he asked.

"Anime?What's that?"I asked.

That was the question that changed my whole life.

I immediately regret asking that question to the kid.

"You know.Shows where characters have powers,swords,...."

"Yeah,yeah I know but why do you ask if I watch anime?"

"Do you want to watch Anime with me?"

Aaaand 2 years later I'm still watching anime.It feels like my whole life made a 180 degree turn.

This kid doesn't want to do anything except watching anime.He doesn't even want to play video games or board games.

Every time there is no school or during the weekends he comes over to my house to watch anime.

These past few months,my company has been programming a new cartoon that they were going to release soon.

That is why I needed some time off everything including watching anime.

So the next day I went to the next-door kid's house and asked him,"Do you want to do something else besides watching anime?"

"Oh but I want to watch more anime."he replied.

"Oh maybe we could go get some yummy vanilla ice cream in the park.Is that okay with you?"I asked.

And we are now in the park.


Far away from televisions.

Far away from anime.

We sat down in a bench and talking about a lot of stuff until he asked me,"If you can go to any world or fictional places,what would it be?"

I replied,"Hmm I would like to go to the fictional world of Harry Potter.You know,so I could shoot laser from my magic wand."

He said,"Oh I thought you were going to answer Anime."

"That's your dream kiddo,but enough of this we should be going home."I replied

As we were walking back home I kept thinking and murmuring to myself.

If I were able to go to any world or dimension and it is the world of anime what would I do.

Enjoy using my powers.Fight enemies and villains.Anything possible in my imagination.

That daydreaming caused me to lost my footing and I hit the ground face-first.

I stood up to tell the kid everything is okay.But something weird happened.

The road we were walking on had holes and craters with explosives,blood,and swords in it

The houses around us turned into destroyed buildings with ice and fire marks

And most importantly,the kid is gone.

No.

This is impossible.

The world I'm looking at right now.

Anime.

Hori then posed as well, "Aha! I see you're a J◼jo fan as well!"

"What the hell is J◼jo?"  ♦ Michael is confused! ♦ 

Hori then turned towards Michael and pointed towards him, "It's the greatest anime series of all time!" 

Michael then laughed and crossed his arms, "Sounds cool, what's it about?"

"NO MICHAEL NEVER ASK A J◼JO FAN WHAT IT'S ABOUT!"

Hori laughed then smirked, "Well, it starts with J◼hnathan J◼estar-"

♦ An absurd amount of time later ♦ 

"Then after that, we get to part three where the plot really begins-"

♦ An even more absurd amount of time later ♦ 

"Then after that, he turned his banana into a gun!" 

"Jesus Christ are you done already?"

"Mhm." Hori nodded her head as she sat back down at her desk.

I then walked up to the new girl and patted her on the back, "Sorry about that, Hori can get over dramatic at sometimes."

"No worries, I thought it was pretty cool, to be honest!" 

Man... you must be a very unique person to find that cool...

"Alright, jojokes aside, welcome to the otaku club. You can call me Levi, the other guy over there is Michael and that girl you just talked to was Hori." Her face then lit up as she began to smile, "The name's Gem, nice to meet ya!"

♦ Awkward silence ♦ 

"So... what now?" Gem says as she sits down.

"Sign this club forum!" Hori yells as she slams a club sheet on the table.

"Alright!"

♦ One long signing later ♦ 

"What do we do now?"

"I dunno." We all say simultaneously.

"You're joking right?"

"Nope." We all said confidently.

Gem then began to stand up and slowly walk towards the door backward. "Haha, I think I left my bag outside.... sooo... I'm gonna... like... get that right now..." Hori then grabbed Gem by the shoulder before she could exit the clubroom, "Where you do you think you're going?"

"TO JOIN THE MUSIC CLUB"

"WHAT!? MUSIC SUCKS!"

It took a while for Hori to convince Gem not to leave the otaku club, number one reason being that she can't leave since she already signed the school club sign up sheet. Hori basically had her prisoner at that point, well for at least a week since we still needed to find one more member.

"Welp I'm bored, what do we do now?" Hori then leaned on her hair bored out of her mind.

"I don't know, aren't you supposed to come up with activities since you're the club president?" 

"Well, we have a computer, I guess we could watch some anime."

"Brilliant idea Levi!" Hori then ran to the computer and turned it on. "Now, it's time to watch some anime!"

♦ Awkward Silence ♦ 

"Hey Michael, what's the password?"

Michael then sighed and walked up to the computer, "Why would I tell you..." 

"Come on, just tell me the password."

"Why would I tell you!"

"JUSTTELLMETHEPASSSWORDALREADY!"

I sigh as well and walk up to the computer,  "Just type in, whywouldItellyou as the password..."

"God that's stupid..." Hori then began to type in the password.

♦ Password Incorrect ♦ 

"HEY, YOU LIED TO ME!"

"I DIDN'T SAY, SH♥T! I tell no one my password, not even Evan and the others. Especially Evan, I wouldn't even trust that guy with my life. None of you guys is ever getting into my computer."

I swear to god if I'm right... "Hey, Hori, let me have a try," I say as I exchange seats with Hori.

"I told you guys already, you'll never get in-"

♦ Correct Password ♦ 

"BRO, HOW THE HELL!?"

"Jesus Michael... do you really hate Evan that much? That's just harsh man..."

♦ The password was Evansucksass ♦

We all then brought our chairs and crowded around the computer monitor as Michael searched for an anime to watch. "So, what anime are you guys into? Mind if I put on Watashi wa watashi no imōto o okashitai"

"Sounds cool, what's it about?" I say as I lean in closer towards the monitor.

"It's about a guy right, and he's like super cool and nerdy and stuff."

"Sounds alright, what does he do?"

"He wants to f♦ck his little sister!"

"No, we cannot watch that..."

Hori then stood up and typed something on the keyboard, "Guys you should watch this, it's an amazing anime! It's called Xx_The Cultivation Legend of Boku no Re: Re: In another world, reincarnated as an otaku with my smartphone little sister art online Shippuden the system_xX"

"Sounds like every novel on Qidian."

"Hey, by the way, did you hear about this anime called The Recovery Of An Otaku."

"Yeah, it barely gets any views, turns out the writer is a total loser." 

♦ Meanwhile at the Author's house ♦

"Robert, you always told me to never give up. You've always encouraged me with your support, thank you, Robert, I think you're the only one who supports me with this."

"Meow."

"..."

♦ Back at to the story ♦ 

"I WANT TO WATCH IMOUTO SHOWS!" Michael slammed his hands on the table while shouting.

"NO! STOP IT WITH THE IMOUTO SHOWS!" 

"Mhm! Fine..." 

We had been arguing on which anime we were going to watch for our club bonding time. Hori and Gem fell asleep while Michael and I were arguing.

Michael then opened up a video tab on his computer, "This anime is called Demon Fighters x Demon Hunters."

"Doesn't sound half bad, let's watch it!" I said as I grabbed another chair and sat down once more. Hori and Gem then woke up, "Did you guys finally find something?" Hori said as she began stretching. 

"Yeah, it's this cool anime that Michael wanted to watch."

"I swear to god if it's some little sister show..." Gem muttered to herself as she sat down. we all then crowded around the computer screen once more to watch the anime.

"PLAY!" Michael then slammed his spacebar key starting the video. 

The anime started off with a teenager with a giant sword on his back walking off into the sunset. "My name is Kiraimo Kugio, I want to become the strongest!"

"Hey, this doesn't seem half bad!" I say as I lean in closer to watch.

"SO I CAN IMPRESS MY LITTLE SISTER!" The anime opening then began playing.

"MICHAEL IM GOING TO KILL YOU!" I say as I stand up in anger.

"JUST WATCH IT, IT GETS GOOD AFTER THE TWENTIETH SEASON!"

"AHhHHHh I'm so bored!" Hori yells as she immediately fells asleep. 

The clubroom then fell into a state of chaos and anger with everyone yelling including Hori in her sleep. And so the otaku club gained its fourth member.

1st Person POV
While, I and Speed were currently journeying towards the other end of the Dark Colored String, Death String for good name, Suddenly, the Death String moved!
The Death String had just slightly moved but because most of my focused is at there, I saw it.
It was just a simple thing but it answered many of my questions!
First, the other end of the Death String is not on a land or place, a place or land was not moving, right?
Second, the other end of the Death String should be a person or a Danger Beast.
Third, I can end this sooner than I expected!
Well, the reason was because, if the other end of the Death String was on a land, then what should I do? Of course, Wait! Waiting for the even to arrived! And that would surely take me quite time to finish, or maybe, I could just destroy it... Nah, with my Current Power, I could hardly do it, then what about if, I killed more Danger Beasts and have them destroy it? AH! So Frustrating! Nonetheless, It's a good thing that I can end this sooner or later.
But there are still problems.
First, what if the person or the Danger Beast has been always traveling? That would surely be troublesome, but not troublesome compared to waiting.
Second, what if the person or the Danger Beast is much stronger than me? Then, maybe, I could just outnumber them with my Undeads. Well, I only hope that the person or Danger Beast is not monstrously strong like Esdeath. Esdeath's Teigu was very powerful, after all.
"Sigh," A sighed left my mouth. My Face showed bitterness.
'With my presence here, the Future now becomes unstable, I could no longer count the Future Plot as there are many changes will happen due to my presence. Najendo wouldn't die so early, after all.
Thinking about Anime, a nostalgic feeling sprouted inside of me. Then, a certain flashback appeared in my eyes.
*Flashback*
"Senior," A Younger Raven called out his Senior.
Currently, the 2 were eating on the Cafeteria of their School.
"What is it?" The Senior paused his eating then asked Raven.
The 2 were extremely good friends.
"Well, I'm hoping if Senior could give me some Anime recommendations," Raven slightly smiled.
"Mm?" The Senior revealed a surprised expression.
Raven was always busy with his Study and some other problems, so Raven doesn't have time to watch Anime or read Manga and Novel.
"Have you been already got baptism?" Senior pushed his non-existent spectacle with his right hand's middle finger. He showed a serious expression.
"Baptism? You mean, something cleansing my self or some sort?" Raven asked in confusion.
"Yes," Senior solemnly nodded his head.
"Every person needs to do Baptism if they really want to enter the Anime World," Senior added gravely.
"I-I see, I didn't know that watching Anime is this so hard," Raven nodded his head nervously.
"Then, did Senior got already been baptism?"
"Yes, with the helped of my Senior, just like I'm helping you, right now," Senior nodded his head, his face showed some emotions, like Nostalgia, Happy, and many more, there is also Despair in there.
"Then, Senior please help me to get baptism," 
"Naturally, of course," Senior waved his hands in the air with a smile on his face.
"Thanks Senior,"
"No need to thank me," Senior gave me a 'no problem' looked.
"Then, what should I do Senior to get baptimized?"
"Easy, you just need to watch a single anime,"
"That's it?" Raven showed a surprised expressioin.
"That's easy?"
"No, no, this is not easy at all," Senior hurriedly shook his head.
"Whether you like this Anime or not, you don't have any choice but to watch it thoroughly through the end, of course, if you ever stop or pause watching it, then, even if you have finished it watching later on, you wouldn't become a fully pledged anime lover," Senior added, his demeanor changed, as though he was a Peerless Master that was teaching his Disciple.
"I see," Raven smiled confidently. 
What's Senior saying? That's so easy to accomplish. However, without pausing to watch it?
Raven showed a trouble expression.
"Don't worry, the Anime has only a few episodes," Senior seems to know Raven's problem.
"Sigh, that's relief," Raven sighed in relieved.
"Then, what Anime should I watch to finally enter the World of Anime?"
"The Anime is called...
"Boku no Pic-"
Stop! Stop!
I don't wanna remember that scene anymore!
Raven repeatedly shook his head, trying to erase the memory of his Baptism.
But, the Memory was already engraved into his very soul, so, Raven couldn't help but remember it, whenever thinking anime.
"Also, you should use this after watching that Anime," Senior said after a few moments, then gave Raven a white bottle, inside the white botter was a clear water.
"What's that?" Raven asked curiously.
"This is called, Holy Water,"
"Holy Water?"
"Yes, Holy Water, for cleansing your very being,"
"I see," Raven innocently nodded as he took the Bottle that his Senior handed to him.
Raven thought that the Anime he was going to watch is some kind of horror or tragic Genre.
But, he would have never thought of simple Baptism could bring so much despair.

Listless Guy: Oh, it's typing what I'm thinking of...

Reigen: Introduce yourself first!

Momonga: I want some explanation, I'm stuck in the game, maybe it's connected here.
(System: Listless Guy Changed his name into Tanaka)
Tanaka: Well, Nice to meet you.
Reigen: I give up...
Sora: Can you explain what this group is for?
Momonga: Explain +1
Tanaka: I don't know why are you asking me?
Sora: Aren't you the admin?
Tanaka: Just like you, I was invited into this group. though forcefully.
Sora: So we wasted time waiting for you... Why do you always sleep anyways
Tanaka was still confused by this group, he looked at the group members and suddenly had a hunch, he always trusts his instincts, he felt his peaceful days will be gone.
Tanaka: Momonga, May I ask if you are a guild leader in-game?
Momonga: Huh? How did you know?
Tanaka: Do you mind sending a picture, I want to make sure of it.
Momonga: Okay.
(System: Momonga has sent a picture)
Tanaka looked at the picture which was sent by Momonga and his hunch was right, it was Momonga from Overlord.
Tanaka: Well, how should I say it... You're an anime character in my world.
Momonga: What?
Tanaka: Do you want to see you're future?
Momonga: Sure, I'm stuck in this game and I don't know what to do, I'm interested.
Sora: Is that true?
Shiro: @Tanaka Are you a fortune-teller?
Bang: I'm also interested.
Maou: I just got back from work, what is this future thing?
Tanaka: @Sora @Shiro, Do you have Overlord Anime in your world?
Tanaka knows that the world of Sora and Shiro was the same as him, he was not sure that if it was really those famous duos then they must have those anime.
Sora: I don't really watch anime, but let me look it up.
Tanaka: Send it to the group when you're done, I'm also gonna send the others.
(System: Sora has sent the anime 'Overlord')
(System: Tanaka has sent the anime: 'No Game No Life')
(System: Tanaka has sent the manga "One Punch Man')
Tanaka: 'No Game No Life' for @Sora and @Shiro then 'One-Punch Man' for Bang That's it.
Momonga started watching the overlord, while the two siblings started watching No Game No Life, Bang also got interested and read the One Punch Man.
Reigen: What about me? Am I the main character?
Tanaka: Huh? who are you?
Reigen: ... my name is Arataka Reigen!!
Tanaka: Oh from that anime.
(System: Tanaka has sent the anime 'Mob Psycho 100')
Reigen immediately watched the anime, though he was disappointed when he was not the main character when he saw he looked cool in the anime he was satisfied, he still hasn't met Mob, he when he knew that he will meet a disciple, he started rehearsing his lines.
Maou: Do I have mine? My name Is Sadao Maou.
Tanaka: Oh yeah I have it.
(System: Tanaka has sent the anime 'The Devil Is a Part-Timer!')
Everyone then got busy watching their own stories, Tanaka went to sleep, then he suddenly felt he forgot something but he cannot remember it, It was only a group chat, so he thought it would not destroy his peaceful days.
"..."
The Next Morning
Tanaka yawned while on his way to school carrying an umbrella, at first, it was not raining, then he felt some small droplets, 'It's still weak' he said then continued walking, after a few minutes, the rain started to pour, Tanaka looked up and it's not enough to get him wet, a little while later, the rain started pouring.
"..."
Ohta was at the entrance of the school when he saw Tanaka, his clothes were wet and dripping, he was holding an umbrella, they looked at each other for a while.
"Why are you so wet?" Ohta asked.
"I thought the rain was so weak, so I didn't use the umbrella" Tanaka answered in a lazy tone, A little while later Tanaka changed into his gym uniform.
"Achoo!" Tanaka sneezed, it didn't take long for the class to start and Tanaka slept, when he closed his eyes he saw the floating hologram again, with the other members chatting with each other.
Reigen: I am surprised how powerful that bald guy was!
Bang: I haven't met him yet, your disciple is also strong, emotion is a fearful weapon
Reigen: Yeah, I'm already looking for him.
Sora: So Reigen-san, You're not really an esper right?
Reigen: Did you watch the last episode!? I am one!
Shiro: Does @Tanaka also have a story?
Bang: I'm also interested.
Tanaka: I don't have it on my world, how about yours @Shiro?
Shiro: What is the title?
Tanaka: Tanaka is Always Listless
(System: Shiro has sent the anime 'Tanaka is Always Listless'
Reigen: Just from the title alone, I already know..
Shiro: I haven't watched it yet so I'm going to watch it now.
Sora: I'm gonna watch it with her.

He is Lazy so that he wished that everyday is always uneventful and he always wanted to sleep, but what happens when he received a chat group where all other entities joined in?

"God, Do you Bleed?"

Esmee wrote in her notebook on Sunday morning.

"Yesterday during breakfast, Miss Kettingen brought up the topic of love to distract us from thinking about the deceased."

"Everyone shared a bit of their love lives."

"Mrs. Zomerland spoke about her husband, and Mashika, Milandu, Arend and Annet spoke about their romantic relationships."

"That's when Miss Kettingen addressed Kashala, Chisa and me."

"She was suspecting either me or/and Chisa to like Kashala, or him liking one of us."

"That's when I came out with my love for Kashala."

"Nobody saw it coming, not even Kashala expected it."

"Chisa insisted that he saw Kashala as nothing more than family, so you'd think that things are in my favor."

"But of course, she was being insincere."

"And Kashala does like her too."

"So I got my heart broken."

"But I don't feel depressed."

"Sure I'm saddened by the fact that Kashala won't be my lover, but he'll still be by my side forever."

"And that's why I'm not depressed…" 

Esmee was the last one to enter the dormitory hall.

Kashala and Chisa looked worried upon seeing her.

"Esmee… I'm so sorry." She said. "I constantly gave you the wrong impression about my feelings for Kashala because I referred to him as family. So you probably thought that no one would stand in your way in pursuing the love you have for him. It was selfish of me, so I apologize." 

"No it's okay!" She said. "It was kinda obvious to me that you liked Kashala, after you complained about him sleeping with me on the same bed and insisted to sleep right next to him too."

"Can we still be friends?"

"But of course!" She said. "I'm happy if Kashala is happy. And it's you who makes him feel happy. So I'm happy that you're together with Kashala."

"Thank you Esmee." She smiled.

All students were in the school cafeteria and took breakfast with the teachers. 

"It's too quiet again." Miss Kettingen said. 

"At least they don't look depressed anymore." Mrs. Zomerland said.

"Sure their condition improved, but they should make some noise to keep their hearts alive." She said. "Let's see… Right! Why don't you all introduce yourselves to each other!"

"Huh?" Esmee was confused by her suggestion.

"But we already know each other." Mashika said.

"Do you really? Let's test it out then!" She said. "Mashika, what's Annet's favorite dish?"

"Ugh, I don't know."

"See!"

"It's cupcakes." Annet said.

"Oh, okay."

"Don't stop there Annet! Share more about yourself."

"Um, so my favorite hobbies are reading books, novels, manga and manhwa. I like martial arts, studying and I watch anime and reality series too."

"Now it's your turn to share stuff about yourself, Mashika."

Mashika clicked her tongue and said: "Favorite dish: none. Though I like eating candy and anything sweet. Hobbies: going out with friends, watching reality series and anime. I do read manga and manhwa too. Milandu, share something about yourself."

"I like pizza. My hobbies are engaging in martial arts, watching anime and reading manga. I play video games from time to time too." He said. "Hey, Arend."

"I don't really have a favorite dish in particular either. Though I'm a vegan and I adore vegetables and fruits. Watermelon is my favorite." He said. "My hobbies are also engaging in martial arts, reading books and manga. Studying, watching anime and documentaries. Would you like to tell us a thing or two about yourself, Kashala?" 

"I don't have a favorite dish in particular either. Though I like eating nuts, peanuts, you name it. I also like eating dates." He said. "My hobbies are engaging in my military exercises and receiving training. Honing my skills and acquiring new ones. I like reading books, novels, manga and manhwa. I watch anime and documentaries, and I'm into history. Esmee, what about you?"

"My favorite meal is curry. My hobbies are studying, listening to lo-fi or chillstep, ambient music. I like reading books and I read manga and manhwa. I watch anime too." She said. "And what about you Chisa?"

"My favorite dish is tempura. For those who don't know, tempura is a Japanese dish of battered and fried fish, seafood, or vegetables." She said. "I like spending time with Kashala and the activities he likes to engage in, mainly his military exercises and training. I read manga and manhwa, and I watch anime and I listen to lo-fi, hip-hop music and J-pop too. Fleur, tell us something about yourself."

"Oh, sure." She said. "I like my job, I like reading books, cooking, watching reality series and movies, and to watch Kashala grow. I really like eating pizza too. What about you, Amanda?" 

"I like eating lasagna. I like reading books, cycling... and I'm into gaming and anime as well." She said, which surprised everyone and made them laugh.

"What a surprise!" Annet said. 

"You're amazing Miss Kettingen!" Chisa said. 

Miss Kettingen felt embarrassed but understood why everyone was laughing, because it isn't something you'd expect from a teacher, let alone a female teacher.

To outside observers, it would appear just like any standard lounge room. Two white sofas with a couple beanbags strewn about, all facing toward a wide-screen television with a potted green in the corner. That is, if you somehow manage to ignore the several floating translucent uniform polyhedra resting quietly on the seats.

            These colourful, glowing vertex-transitive three-dimensional shapes are the Overseer's avatars, and they are currently watching television in a subspace of the Void Abyss. Well, all but one.

            "Hey Serra, you sure you don't want to watch this documentary with us?"

            "… I'm good, thanks." 

            And with a mere three words, Serra immediately shut down the conversation in a way any fellow introvert would be proud of.

            "…"

            The vague silence lengthened as the television chattered quietly in the background. The seconds turned to minutes as the room turned evermore awkward.

            "Hey, you sure? These nature documentaries from Earth are really quite good. They're talking about whales."

            "… Sean, I told you I'm not interested. I'm reading."

            "Oh cool… what are you reading?"

            "… You don't need to know."

            "Serra wanteth not to harken to thy noise, Sean. We four are enow, nay?" (Serra doesn't want to listen to your talk, Sean. Us four are enough, no?)

            "I guess so, Ai…" sighed Sean, leaning back to rest his vertices against the sofa, looking over at Maykre and Nebula who've long since been lulled asleep by the gentle voice of the documentary's narrator.

            It was quite the peaceful scene. Anybody who saw it would surely never believe that these incredibly human-like beings, casually conversing like friends, were the gods of the world.

            Seemingly uncomfortable with the ever lengthening silence, Sean inquired, "Say, how do you guys spend your time mostly? I don't recall ever asking."

            "… I mostly just read. I like watching the humans doing human things on Earth too, I guess."

            "Aye, 'tis quite leisurely to beholdeth," concurr'd Ai, "the humans art truly fascinating." (Yeah, it's quite calming to watch, the humans are truly fascinating.)

            Redirecting the conversation back towards his own interests as always, Sean queried, "Do you guys watch anime? I discovered anime recently and I'm enjoying it immensely."

            "… I've seen some, but I prefer to read the source materials. It's better." crowed Serra.

            "Oh sweet. What kind of stuff do you read? Personally, I'm halfway through reading 'Forestfallen'"

            "… Oh, I've finished that one. It gets better near the end, when th-"

            "-Don't spoil!" barked Sean aggressively, giving Serra a brief, sharp glare.

            "Aye, thou ought seeketh to spoileth aught, blunderbuss." (Yeah, you should try not to spoil anything, idiot.)

            "… Sorry. I didn't mean to."

            "It's ok, it's ok," reassured Sean, before immediately kicking the conversation down a different path, "speaking of which, have you guys watched or read 'Tales of Astralorr'?"

            "I haven't hath heard of yond." (I haven't heard of that.)

            "… Neither."

            Taking this as an invitation to continue his one-sided chatter, Sean inhales deeply and immediately begins to babble, "Well, it's a pretty novel concept, pretty much what happens is a guy gets hit by a truck and just straight up fucking dies, then he gets sent to the world of 'Astralorr' where he gains some pretty ridiculously bonkers magical powers and essentially becomes god himself by slaughtering dragons and stuff."

            Several seconds passed, as Ai and Serra briefly watched to ensure his spiel had indeed ended.

            "… That's not a novel concept. At all." Serra states bluntly.

            Undeterred, he continued, "Well, it is for me. It's really cool I think you guys should watch the anime."

            "I, for one, has't hath nought heardeth of a story liketh yond. Although, perhaps yond is because I doth not followeth television nor anime," commented Ai, "I am verily interested, perhaps I ought to beholdeth such media one day." (I, for one, haven't heard of a story like that. Although, perhaps that is because I don't follow television or anime. I am certainly interested, maybe I should watch it sometime.)

            "Actually, since we're here, how about we all watch it together? As a group?"

            "I seeth nought reason to declineth." agreeth'd Ai amiably. (I see no reason to decline.)

            "… I guess I don't have anything else to do. If Ai wants to, I'm up."

            "Wait, didn't you just say you weren't interested in watching anything because you're reading?"

            "… I'm not interested in documentaries. They tend to put me to sleep before telling me anything I even remotely care about."

            "Wow, shit that was blunt," winced Sean, "that's something I would've expected to hear from Maykre, not you. Speaking of which, should we ask them if they want to watch too?" inquired Sean, pointing a glowing vertex at the two resting on the sofas.

            "… If you feel you have to, I suppose."

            "Sean, heedest hither. Them folk art asleep. We doth not wanteth to waketh them up yet. Prithee, maintaineth patience." (Sean, listen here. They're asleep. We don't want to wake them up yet. Please, stay patient.)

            A brief sigh slipped from Seans' non-existent lips, "Yeah, you're making sense. Lets just wait for them to wake then."

            "Heyoooo~, morning sleepyheads." chirped an animated Sean.

            The avatar previously resting quietly on the sofa looked around the room tiredly, as mumbles fell out of his imaginary mouth. "Ugh… morning? The Void Abyss does not have the concept of day… am I mistaken?"

            "It's a figure of speech, Maykre. You're still half-asleep, aren't you?"

            After briefly conversing with Maykre, Sean sees Nebula's avatar briefly begin to flicker from the corner of his vision, indicating she had also awoken.

            "Oh, you're up too Nebula?"

            "~Huh? What's up? Are you talking to me? What're you saying?"

            "Us three art going to beholdeth upon an anime called 'Tales of Astralorr', doth thee desireth to joineth us?" (Us three are going to watch an anime called 'Tales of Astralorr', do you want to join us?)

            "~Uhhhh, can I decline? What's it about?" questioned a very confuzzled Nebula.

            "Actually… hold on. I think I have heard of it. No idea what it is about, though, other than some guy dies." thought Maykre out loud, tilting his avatar in much the same way a dog tilts its head.

            "~Do you understand how overwhelming vague that was, Maykre?"

            "You can not say that I am wrong, can you?" he retorted in his signature, blocky voice.

            Pushing himself back into the conversation, Sean clarifies, "Yeah, well you're right Maykre. But more specifically, it's about a guy who dies and is brought back."

            "Oh, so it is a resurrection or reincarnation story or something of the sort?"

            "Yeah, but the twist is… he gets reincarnated into a completely different world, with magic and other fantasy-esque stuff. Pretty cool, huh?"

            "Woah. I have not heard of a story like that, certainly not." replied Maykre in a very sarcastic tone.

            Completely oblivious, Sean responds, "Yeah, I know! Very unique."

            "…"

            "…"

            "So, wanna watch it?"

            Sighing at Seans' utter inability to read the mood, Maykre replied briefly, "Are you just going to keep pestering me until I do, Sean?"

            "Of course not! I would never do that, right..?"

            "You do that all the time."

            "Well, this time is different."

            Seeing Maykre get nowhere with Sean, Nebula decides to chip in, "You know, I doubt that. You say that every time."

            "Just watch it. Y'all won't regret it, I swear."

            Ai, watching this one-sided back-and-forth, decided to step in: "Sean, prithee cease harassing them. Thou art acting as a dolt." (Sean, please stop harassing them. You are acting like an idiot.)

            Keeping their silence until now, Serra uses Ai's intervention as an opportunity to join Maykre's and Nebula's side, "… Yeah Sean. Stop it."

            Facing a one-versus-four situation, Sean begins to metaphorically sweat, "Okay then… … … but are you?"

            Immediately, the clearly audible sighs of the other four permeate the room.

            "Yeah… sure, I will watch it."

            "~I have free time, I guess I'll join in."

            "Hoorah!"

            Maykre and Nebula submitted quickly and easily, knowing full well that Sean was the overwhelmingly persistent type. They were simply too tired to put up with his shenanigans. And so, the four sat down and waited as Sean turned on the television and logged into his anime account.

            Meanwhile, in totally unrelated news, a person on Earth has a sudden, foreboding premonition.

Within the dull monochromy of the Void Abyss reside the five ancient beings, entities older than time immemorial. The five gods of the world. The creators, the spectators… the Overseers.

Granted humanity and personality from their own accidental creations, these gods discover emotion... and consequently, boredom.

Follow the story of these five omnipotent friends as they quench their desire for entertainment by copying a currently very popular idea from Earth... reincarnation stories!
