In the vast internet, there are pictures that are called Memes.
Memes are basically a picture with texts on them, but in the ancient era, Memes are life itself.

When there is life, there is also death, that is Meme Review.
Meme Review is the taker of memes, once a Meme goes on Meme Review, its death is inevitable.

The host of Meme Review, the God of Death, the taker of memes, the Supreme Being, PewDiePie. A once mortal man who has achieved godhood by killing memes. 

In the Cyber Era where memes are banned, a young boy will risk everything just to get ahold of the memes from the Ancient Era, the memes that were once profound is now lost, the memes that are present is mediocre.

He will trek the depths of the deepweb just to get even a piece of the meme, he will go as far as to go to Realms like [Facebook & Instagram] to take back the memes that were once theirs. 

Come join the adventure of a young man who will gather all the memes and meet the Supreme Being, PewDiePie, to bring back the meaning of memes to the Cyber Era, to bring happiness to the people.

Because nobody comented on my thread, I decided to make a novel centered around memes. 

Note: This is only a troll novel, I'm not gonna pursue this in the future, well, maybe.

    I decided for once to make this a two on one since both series were, in fact, two different series at one point. The artist here today is called PrincessHinghoi, another freelance artist with a whole host of other webtoons.


    Summary


    Internet Explorer follows the story of all of our separate web browsers as cute anime girls with our resident Internet Explorer as our main heroine. Follow the adventures of this lovely browser as she tries to live her outdated life in a cruel, updated life.


Meme Girls is a comedy anthology story about memes and game consoles as cute anime girls.


Characters


While meme girls don't have any real characters, Internet Explorer has two main ones to discuss.


Internet Explorer: While I don't have much experience with her (I use Safari), I definitely would use her if it means she can for once have a smile. Due to her outdated mechanic's Internet Explorer is often forgotten in the grand scheme of the internet, so much so that it's difficult even to stay relevant. Despite it all with encouragement from friends, Explorer starts gaining more confidence in herself as the series progresses.


Google Chrome: In her bid to be at the top of the food chain (or digital chain), google chrome will destroy whoever stands in her way.


Overview


Both series have a flossy and light style to them, which makes sense given the tone of both stories. Like Everywhere and Nowhere, both stories are a good way to learn about the World Wide Web with one being serialized and one is more of a comedy anthology. I prefer Ie, though, so it's a lot more serialized, and I think it tells history in a rather interesting way that makes me fall for the characters though meme girls are good if you know the memes in particular.


Epilogue


PrincessHinghoi is a great artist, and I hope we get to see more of their work as time goes on. But with these series both done, let's search up where the light takes us next.

Just a simple person is trying to shine a little light on the beautiful world of webtoon. With a splash of sarcasm, narration, and spitfire along the way.  And who knows I might have other segments just for the hell of it.

After getting into the qidian group, Weed started to check out the posts on it. Most of them were normal, but a particular post caught his attention. The post was made by a guy named Shiw.

(Now we all know about Mexico, a country which has more Spanish speakers than Spain itself. Mexico is famous for couple of things.
Drugs, Narcos, Gangstas, it is bustling with both criminal and illegal activities. It can be considered as haven for drug dealers and gangsta. Mexicans also specialize in climbing ＷＡＬＬＳ [hint - Trump]. Even Pablo Escobar¹ himself would have wanted nothing more than to be a citizen of Mexico. A land full of Latinas, sex, clubs, you name anything inappropriate in society and Mexico has it. Now if you are thinking why I am describing Mexico here, then it is because Shiw is from Mexico.  He is not even a bit like those drug lords or mafias, rather than being addicted to drugs, he is addicted to Starbucks. A typical NEET, who does not have real friends in real life, is not brave enough to confess to his crush, and sadly his crush is always either a slut or someone who is bound to friendzone him if he ever confesses. He is an atheist. He wastes his time by looking at memes, browsing reddit, bullshiting on social networking sites like Facebook. He only has one goal in life, and that is to get a "LOYAL" girlfriend[which is nothing more than a fantasy]. We will get to see more about him in the upcoming chapters.)
The post went like this-
"Hey there everyone, I am Shiw, I am one of the mods of this group [and the best one]. I hope you have a great time in this group". For Weed, it was a normal post, but for the people in the group, it was not. They  titled Shiw as the "Shameless King" and shiw was feeling pretty good about it. "Finally, someone noticed me. I thank the heavens for this golden opportunity." It was rare for this many people to take notice him, and he was more than happy. Group members were either taking screenshots of his posts, or they were sharing it saying how "shameless " Shiw was. The more he posted, the more he became known in the group. His popularity climbed up ranks high in the group overnight, and he was also called the most popular mod(do focus on the fact that he is a mod right now). 
As the days went by, he kept getting more reacts to his posts, he even had fans and forget about posts, he was getting different reacts to the comments that he made. Shiw was in complete bliss. Even his most basic comments garnered almost equal likes at the post itself, and sometimes even more. You could say that he was the "SUPA HOT FIRE" of QIDIAN Facebook group (meme reference. Check out original rap battle parody on YouTube. It is funny as heck). It went like this - 
Shiw: *says nothing*
Members of the group: "shameless king is here, oh he is so shameless. He is soo funny and bla bla bla." (another meme reference, Check out nothing memes on internet). In short, it was his Era and Shiw was like, " I'm loving it" . (McDonald's tag line bitches, para papapa). 
Weed was amused by all this, so he decided that he would post some memes on this group. To see, if these people really had that dark sense of humor that he possessed.

And the response could be considered ok at best. The group admin and mods did not appreciate the beauty of Ecchi memes and Racist memes. In particular, the Ecchi memes. Weed also became the first guy to ever get his post removed by mods and that happened twice, consecutively in a week. At this stage, he was able to make out about the sense of humor that the group members possessed. He was disappointed, the members did not really liked the dark memes. But they laughed way too hard at normie memes. It was in his expectations though, and he also knew that there would be some people who would posses the same sense of humor that he possessed. And he was right. There were a few members that liked liked his dark memes. Shiw was one of them and there was one more guy(and this guy is as important as shiw and weed) . Who was the other guy? why is he so important?

Everyone inside was silent, as they all sat down around a meeting table
"... He defeated the secret boss"

"... And it was a one-sided fight"
"We saw it..."
"... And it was really cool so we should use it for our next major patch advertisement"
"Hell yeah! We should!"
They all agreed on that decision
"Wait, shouldn't we first ask for his permission to use his fight for our trailers?"
"I already asked him about a week ago, and he sent me an email containing an edit of his fight"
"You did? And how is his edit like?"
The dev who had the video made a troubled face
"... Do you remember those MLG's montages, with a bunch of dubstep music and memes?"
"Yes, why do you ask?"
"Think of that, but with mixed in with anime references and handmade animation"
"... You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention"
Another dev got really interested in what the video contained
"Well... I can show you guys how the video looks like"
The dev with the video turned on the projector and connected it to his laptop, and shared the video with the other devs

*Starts with a motherfucking Jojo parody*
Two buffed figures, one of Red Null and the other of Luparious I were standing menacingly
"Ho? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right towards me"
"I can't be shit out of you without getting closer"
"Oh ho! Then come as close as you like"
Then a smooth transition of the first part of the fight changed the cartoony-anime animation to the actual footage, filled with memes of course. Then on the part where Red threw his tomahawk, another smooth transition happened that made his throwing look way cooler than it actually was
*Luparious I gets hit* *That's pretty big meme on the damage counter*
*Red retrieving his tomahawk with thunders and lightning bolts in the background*
And another Jojo like animation started
"You thought this was my end, but you thought wrong Gatturin Guran da!!!"
And when it was the part of Luparious I using his magical battling attack, it was back again to the in-game recording, but when the video closed up on Red, it once again became an anime style animation with his dodging with all sorts of parkour moves, that finished with him invoking the geo construct
*Red jumping on the geo construct followed by a Ricard* Milo gif slapped in front of him, followed by another animation with him jumping up like a certain prisoner anime character who has an attack with angel wings followed by a "Za worldo da!" slapped on top of him*

The video was paused

"Alright, I don't need to see anymore... Send that video to the marketing team immediately!"
"Aye, aye!"
And the dev with the video disconnected his laptop from the projector and left the meeting room
"... What were we talking about again?"
Another dev asked so
"... ... ... Hmm... Something related to the guy with the player name of Red Null?"
"Hmmm..."
They all began thinking together
"Ah! That's right! he defeated the secret boss!"
"That's right! We need to do something about it"
"How about we nerf the skills and magic he uses?"
"We can't, or else everyone else who also use those skills or magics will suffer if we nerf them anymore, they're all hanging by a thread now"
"Yeah, that's definitely a problem... How about we buff the other skills?"
"We can't too"
"Why?"
"What if he picks the buffed skills and causes more havoc by abusing some exploit?"
"That's true... Wait... My god... He'll become unstoppable"
"Why are you saying that?"
"Because if someone defeated Luparious I, they would receive some very generous rewards, right?"
"Yes, that's right"
"And most of those items, are either unobtainable by common means, currently unavailable, or have almost impossible rates, right?"
"Yeah..."
The devs were getting extremely worried
"And all of them are either OP or become very OP in the right hands"
"Yes..."
"And those items are now on the hands... Of someone who abuses every little exploit, he can find... Especially duping exploits... That will use them for making OP stuff for himself..."
"... Shit..."
The ambient of the meeting room became heavy, as all the devs couldn't stop thinking of the monster they created
"WE NEED TO FIX ANY DUPING EXPLOIT BEFORE HE CAN USE THEM!!!"
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
And the devs became all fired up, and quickly got to work to patch any duping exploit they could find, together with any other exploits they found along the way, but there was one single problem...

Inside the game

"*Whistling* ... Yeah, this amount is good, now let's start duping this item"
Red had already duped all of the items from the reward and was now in the process of duping even more of those just because he could, and because he knew the devs would be patching those exploits soon
"I still need to see, what I can do with these items... Something definitely OP I'm sure, just not sure what type of OP item it'll be"
He was just duping the items because he knew they were OP, he just didn't know how to use the items

Some days later

"..."
Riku was watching the trailer for the upcoming major patch, and he could only say one thing
"Majestic... That's how all trailers should always look like"
He was saying that because he was the one producing the video that he sent to the devs, of course, he properly credited and paid the other people he asked for help with the video. After watching the video he went to read the dev notes
"... And the servers will be down for the entire day... Well, it's a pretty massive update, so it's understandable... And they'll probably be using the entire day, only for finding and patching exploits. Not that they'll manage to patch all of them anyway"
After reading the dev notes, Riku went to do his other stuff, and after doing everything that he needed to do, he used his free time to play some other games so that he wouldn't get rusty on those games

Let's just say this is a rough draft, MY FIRST NOVEL

This is my first novel so bear with me, also I'm making this mc EVIL like Evil Evil so if you don't like evil protagonist don't read this, and you grammar Nazis give me all your criticism it helps a lot, another thing is I'm doing this for fun so if you don't like it too bad. One more thing can you people (who do read this) explain commas to me, I find them difficult? I'll start writing the novel on a later date if I feel like it.

On a certain country with crazy people and lots of alligators known for it's infamous hero (Florida Man), there is a boy in his room scrolling through reddit and looking at memes. This boy is the protagonist of this shitty novel, his name is Magnus Chrome. He has a height of 181cm, has blonde hair with a bit of orange at the tips of his messy hair.

Magnus has been scrolling through meme after meme since the last 2 hours. He had nothing to do other than this because he wanted to play Minecraft but his friends were apparently busy and he had no school activities to do or anyone to interact with in his house as his parents are at work and he was an only child.

**Grrrowwll**

"Huh, guess I'm a lil bit hungry. Wonder if there's still some instant noodles in the kitchen." Spoke Magnus to himself.

He then went to his kitchen to see if there was some noodles but what he was greeted with made him very confused. In front of him is what looks to be a red disfigured entity that resembles Ugandan Knuckles and was about the size of a toddler.

Magnus blinked and rubbed his eyes to make sure he was not hallucinating. He then tried to speak to the creature.
"Uhh, hey there, who are you and how did you get here?"

"Do u knoe da Wae?" spoke the Ugandan Knuckles looking creature.

"Wha-?!" before Magnus could speak, he was suddenly interrupted when the creature blew up with the strength of 10 tons of dynamite. 

After that stupid and confusing ordeal, Magnus woke up in a blank white space. After a few minutes everything suddenly became pitch black and a bright silhoute of a man with a long beard and hair was in front of him. 

{Do not fear mortal, for you have died and you are now in the space where the reincarnation cycle of souls take place.} Spoke the unknown entity.

"Wha-?! W-who are you?! H-how did I get here?!" Magnus spoke as he stuttered because he was surprised by these sudden events.

{To answer your first question mortal, I am Chrono Sigel. I am the being that manages the reincarnation cycles of souls. You were accidentally killed by the prank one of the younger gods did.} Spoke the now known man as Chrono Sigel.

"This is a lot to take in but I guess I can understand the situation. So, what now? Do I like, get reincarnated with 3 wishes like those people in light novels and manga?" asked Magnus.
{Yes, though there are limitations to what you can wish for. You may state your wishes and choose which world you will want to be reincarnated in, of course, when you reach a certain amount of power you will be granted permission to enter other worlds.} said Chrono.

Magnus contemplated at what he wanted before thinking, 'fuck it, do it for the memes'. "Okay, can I get a system which revolves around the power of memes?" he asked.

Chrono was looking a bit surprised as to what Magnus has said but answered with: {Yes, but you will have to start out weak and work for your POWER.} 

Our protagonist thought of what he was told and said: "I guess that's fair. Now for my second wish, I want to have a starter pack with items or skills from games or anime I know." 

Chrono without hesitating said: {Done}

Magnus was now contemplating as to what he wanted for his last wish before getting an idea and said: "For my final wish, I want to have no limit for my potential and to have infinite currency in any world."

Chrono: {Very well, I will give you these wishes of yours and you may choose which world you would want to be reincarnated in first}

"Hmm, I guess I want to be reincarnated in the world of DxD first then." said Magnus.

Chrono with a cheery tone now said: {Alright mortal, I shall now reincarnate you into that world and I wish you good luck in your next life.}

And with that, our protagonist has been transported to his first world. Who knows what fate has in the future for him. 

I do, I'm the fucking narrator and author, hahahaha!



Random Bullshit that I wanted to write because I am bored, you can criticize this if you want. Also, this is for my enjoyment and will have a random schedule depending on my mood.

                Era un día como cualquier otro: soleado, tranquilo, y aburrido. Luego de salir de mis clases del colegio, me despido de mis compañeros. Tome un taxi para llegar a mi casa lo antes posible. Ya quería llegar y descansar, hoy fue un día muy pesado; tantos exámenes en un día, deberían de reclamarle a los profesores por eso. Ya eran las 5.30 de la tarde, y ya faltaba poco para llegar a mi casa, podía ver a mi vecina saliendo de su casa a regar sus plantas. Ella dirige su mirada hacia el taxi y nota mi presencia, me saluda y yo le devuelvo el saludo con una cálida sonrisa. Mientras me preguntaba —Quien rayos riega sus plantas a estas horas del día jaja.
                Ya me encontraba en frente de mi casa, bajo del taxi después de pagarle. Entro a mi casa y saludo a mis padres, ellos me devuelven el saludo. Hablábamos de cómo me fue durante el día, mientras me dirigía a la cocina en busca de algo para comer —la verdad, me estaba muriendo de hambre—, encontré pan. Tome unas rebanas y la unte con mantequilla.
                Luego de despedirme de mis padres, sin pensarlo tanto, me dirijo al baño para darme una buena ducha después de dejar todas mis cosas en mi habitación, y de terminar de comerme el pan. Me llevo mi celular, quería relajarme un rato, de verdad que estaba cansada.
                Me desvisto por completo. Sujeto mi cabello con una cola —no quería mojármela ya que me la había planchado y no me gustaría que se me esponje después. Luego de restregarme todo el cuerpo, con el agua que estaba tibia y jabón de baño, ya me sentía mas aliviada. Ahora era el momento de meterme en la bañera y relajarme.
                Tomé mi celular y comencé a revisar mi Facebook. Era lo mismo todo el tiempo, publicaciones de personas adoloridas, otras enamoradas, uno y que otro sobre peleas entre ellos. Me reía también con algunos memes*, cuando de pronto, miro una publicación que se robó toda mi intención.
              ¡Hola, cree un grupo para rolear*, puedes inventar tus personajes y conocer a nuevas personas. ¡Aquí está el link!
                —Umm ¿Un grupo para rolear? —comente algo emocionada—. Tengo mucho que no estoy en uno. No hará daño. Jeje.
                Entre al grupo, pero apenas había pocas personas, como máximo cinco, sin incluirme. Por lo que leía en las conversaciones, después de unirme, pude notar que eran muy amigables, y podrían agradarme con el tiempo. Por sus nombres de usuarios, apenas podía distinguir si eran chicos o chicas.
                —¡Hola, bienvenida! —me saluda una chica—. Soy Sol, espero y te sientas cómoda.

                Se notaba que era muy amigable, fue la primera que me dio la bienvenida. Le conteste, con una sonrisa en mi rostro detrás del teléfono, estaba emocionada.
                —¡Hola! Muchas gracias. Soy Lily, un gusto. —Sentía que con los miembros tendría una bonita amistad.
                —Hola Lily. Soy Luis el administrador de este grupo. Estamos esperando que el grupo tenga más miembros, hasta entonces podremos conversar.
                Luego de hablar y conocernos un poco, los agregue a mi lista de contactos para no confundirme más adelante. Al rato aparece un mensaje. Un nuevo miembro se había unido. Me fije en el nombre de la lista de miembros, pero no tenía uno común, sino más bien una carita feliz con unos puntos suspensivos.
                Estaba un poco confundida, ya que no tenía una foto de perfil de el mismo, sino que era una foto de un anime* que no me acuerdo del nombre.

                Así pasaron varios minutos, hasta que por fin el nuevo miembro respondió.
                —¡Hola Lily! Soy Gustav, y gracias por la bienvenida.
                Estaba emocionada, sinceramente. Durante mucho tiempo he estado en varios grupos, y la mayoría de los miembros, siempre se comportaban mal conmigo, no entendía el porqué, pero cuando entre a ese grupo hubo algo diferente. Estaba a punto de responderle, pero de repente escucho que alguien golpea la puerta del baño.
                —No tardes tanto en el baño —se escuchaba a mi hermano, mientras tocaba la puerta—. Tengo una cita y aun no me he bañado.
                —Ok. Ya salgo —le refunfuñe.
                Salí de la bañera. Me sequé con el paño, luego me la puse para taparme. Al abrir la puerta para salir del baño, se encontraba mi hermano esperando desesperadamente.
                —¡Por fin! —dice mientras entra al baño, y cierra la puerta de un golpe.
            Esa cita debe de ser importante si estaba así de intranquilo. Es raro verlo así. Pero bueno, eso no es asunto mío. Me iré a cambiar a mi habitación. Tire el teléfono en la cama. Me quite el paño; entonces, comencé a cambiarme.
                Luego me llego un mensaje. Era del grupo, el administrador ya le había puesto un nuevo nombre, se llamaba "UNIVERSITY HARROW". El nombre me agrado, ya me sentía mas en un rol que ante.
                Me acosté en mi cama, mientras chateaba con ellos. El grupo fue creciendo, ya éramos más de diez miembros. Tenía que admitir que había pocas personas, pero era normal en un grupo creado con el objetivo de rolear, ya que solo los que les gusta el anime, o cosas parecidas, entran a este tipo de grupos.

                Ya habían pasado once días. Ya tenía agregado a unos cuantos a mi contacto. Muy pocas veces me concentraba en mis estudios. Sinceramente, me sentía más a gusto en este grupo que en mi propio alrededor.
                Se podría decir que me encontraba más adicta a las redes sociales que antes. No podía despegarme del teléfono. Y si lo hacía, tan solo con escuchar el sonido de notificación, tomaba el teléfono y comenzaba a chatear; pues, ya sabía el tono para los mensajes del grupo.
                Estaba muy cómoda, ya hasta me había hecho muy amiga de Sol — es muy buena persona, y una gran amiga—, también de Luis. Con Valentina no tanto ya que solo casi no se conectaba, y con Gustav, pues tampoco no tanto. Y con los demás miembros, pues ni de qué hablar. Pero Luis, Sol y Gustav, eran amigables con ellos.
                Aunque el objetivo del grupo —que era rolear— se perdió, aun así, les hablaba. Sinceramente, los miembros me agradaron.
