After looking for a bit, Vergil and Fenian finally found all the pieces that belonged to the storm wolf. They were hard to find since the original blue color of the wolf fur had been tainted a now murky red due to the blood of the other wolves.

"So this is what a storm wolf looks like, or at least what remains of it," Fenian said as he picked up each piece to take a look at it. Vergil while watching Fenian suddenly got the urge to use the bathroom and said, "While you do that I'm going to take care of business. I won't go too far away from the camp so if something pops up just call me over."

Fenian simply nodded as he was to engrossed in examining the storm wolves body parts. Vergil made his way over to a tree not so far away from the camp and did what he needed to do. Once done, he made his way over to the camp where Fenian was and prepared to help Fenian with anything he needed.

Before Vergil could get very far into the camp however, he sensed a presence. Not just one presence, but multiple all heading towards the camp. Vergil wouldn't have been able to notice this before but due to him being an elf who also had the [Hunter] job, his instincts and senses had grown by a marginal amount.

Vergil not wanting to waste any time, rushed over to Fenian as he prepared to tell him the worst. When Vergil got the center of the wolf camp, Fenian was still working on investigating the storm wolf, almost oblivious to what was about to happen. "Fenian! Did you sense that? There seem to be multiple animals or things coming our way." Vergil shouted to get Fenian's attention.

Fenian didn't seem all that distressed by Vergil's message though as he simply got up and dusted himself off a bit. "Yeah, I noticed. Don't worry though, whatever it may be we should be fine." Fenian said as he started took off his bag and sorted through it.

After a while, Fenian got out a bow and handed it to Vergil. "Let's see if that target practice you did yesterday will be put to good use today," Fenian said as he got out a hunters knife from his bag.

Vergil took the bow and got out some arrows from his inventory making sure to make it look like he had gotten them from his bag. Although Vergil could use Ryujin Jakka and just burn the enemy into nonexistence, he wanted to complete his [The Adventure Begins!] mission, since he currently had 0/30 enemies killed on the bow.

Once everything was prepared, both Fenian and Vergil stood still as they tried to predict where the enemy was coming from. Vergil got a little tense since this seemed to be a large group of fast enemies making their way towards the camp.

After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the enemy finally came into view south of the camp. It was a large group of almost 50 wolves that had made their way into the camp. They were all grouped with what seemed to be their leader at the front.

Their leader was an orange-colored wolf variant with purple eyes that exceeded dominance from its somewhat large build. As soon as the variant wolf spotted Vergil and Fenian, he stood still. As if following his every move, the wolves behind him also all stood still and stared at the enemy in front of them.

Vergil had seen how wolves would often use teamwork and leadership to take down enemies but never had he seen such a coordinated group of them before. It was almost like the wolves were a hive mind, all being controlled by the single variant.

The wolf variant and his group continued to stare down Vergil and Fenian before the wolves finally made their move. The variant wolf made some sort of gesture with his head to the wolves behind him and as if following some sort of signal, all the wolves behind him suddenly charged at Vergil and Fenian.

Fenian already expecting this, simply adjusted his stance as he got his knife, getting ready for the bloodshed that was about to occur. Vergil also did the same thing as he readied an arrow and prepared to take down one of the wolves in one hit. 

Once the wolves got close, Vergil let out a nice straight arrow and managed to hit one of the wolves straight in the head, killing it instantly. "One down, forty-nine more to go," Fenian said as he charged at the wolves in front of him.

Vergil had expected Fenian to immediately be overwhelmed by the wolves but he was instead dodging all of the wolves attacks almost as if he couldn't be touched. Fenian continued to dodge and attack any wolves that go to close to him with precise accuracy.

Vergil, not wanting to waste any time, immediately reloaded his bow with another arrow and prepared to shoot once more. He shot a brand new arrow at one of the wolves almost hitting its head but missing by a bit and instead hit it on its neck.

Although Vergil had not hit the wolf in its head, the wolf still collapsed, as the force of the arrow had broken his entire throat and made it so he couldn't breathe. Vergil once again reloaded another arrow onto his bow and shot into the crowd of wolves, repeating this process over and over again until he was out.

Once he was out of arrows, Vergil decided to quickly go to the store and purchase a set of arrows. Not caring about what they were like or how much they cost, Vergil bought a set of 5 arrows simply named [Exploding arrows] for 20 SP.

Vergil had wasted almost all of his SP when buying these 5 arrows but didn't mind it since the name sounded cool and they seemed effective enough to be worth the price.
Vergil loaded one of them onto his bow, making sure not to accidentally explode them in the process. He then shot one of the arrows onto one of the wolves back.

The arrow didn't do anything at first but after about 10 seconds, a sudden beeping sound was heard coming from the arrow and it exploded. When it exploded, not only did the wolf instantly die, but any wolf that was near it either lost parts of their body or died in the explosion along with it.

"Wow! That's one interesting bow you got there Vergil" Fenian shouted to Vergil as he continued attacking the wolves. Vergil sighed inwardly as he was happy that the bows had been worth the price and prepared to load another one up.

Before Vergil could, however, a group of 6 or so wolves charged at him. When the explosion occurred, the variant wolf saw how dangerous Vergil and his arrows were so he decided to send a small group of wolves after him.

Vergil noticed this and simply shot an exploding arrow at the middle wolf. The wolf exploded after a couple of seconds bringing down almost all of his comrades down except for two that continued to charge at Vergil.

"Persistent are we now?" Vergil said as he put down his bow and arrow and prepared to fight the wolves head-on. The wolves pounced at Vergil with their claws out intending to leave a devastating scratch on him. 

Vergil noticed this but didn't care as he simply used his somewhat high strength stat to his advantage against the wolves. He dodged the wolves at first but then proceeded to charge at them from behind when they had landed.

He grabbed one of the wolves by their tails and then proceeded to throw him like some kind of baseball at the wolf in front of him. The wolf was thrown with such force that when he was knocked into the other wolf, all his bones immediately broke.

Vergil then turned around and was about to pick up his bow before noticing that something was wrong. Vergil noticed that Fenian had been somewhat overwhelmed by the wolves and was struggling with 2 wolves on his legs.

He seemed to be in a somewhat tight spot as the wolves took out his mobility making it somewhat hard to move around. Vergil saw this and instead of risking exploding the bow on Fenian, he instead made his way over to his backpack where he took out his Ryujin Jakka.

Vergil wasted no time and with a deep concentrated breath said "All things of this world, turn to ashes! Ryujin Jakka!"

"Goblins! Kill these mutts!"
Mos ordered the goblins to strike now as he was sure that the wolves wouldn't be able to fight back.
Although Mos was sure that there would be some casualties, it wouldn't hurt if they were able to kill the two wolves now.
After all, there were other wolves waiting to be killed. And what's more, those two other wolves were stronger, and bigger than the two wolves that the goblins were about to kill.
Mos thought that it would be better to take out the two cubs out of the picture, and join the game with the big bad wolves with no worry.
Well, that was indeed the best choice in this situation.
It was then.
As Mos ordered the normal goblins to step up and proceed to attack the two wolves while he and Garistoka was restraining them, one of the wolves howled.
"Ahouuu!!" The wolf howled even though it was being chocked.
It was quite an amazing feat if you think about it, but of course, Mos didn't give a fuck about that as he tightened his grip once more!
"Shut up!" Mos spoke with his eyes so wide.
Right now, Mos looked like he was about to 'pop' even though he was the one doing the choking.
Veins were bulging all over his body right now, and even his muscles were stretched just to keep up with what he was doing.
Of course, Garistoka was also looking like that as he too did the same thing as Mos was doing with the wolf.
The size of the two wolves were so big that it was even weird to categorize them as cubs.
Either way, Mos and Garistoka was having a hard time restraining the wolves.
And the wolves knew that as they kept howling.
"Awoooo!"
The wolves tried to get out of the goblins' grasp as they moved their body roughly.
They did whatever the hell they could think of just to escape.
They were that desperate.
After all, the normal goblins were now upon them.
The sense of death was entering their brains, and invading their instincts!
The two wolves knew that if they don't do something, their doom would be a certain thing!
However…
"Chweee!!" A goblin cried out in delight when he found out that the wolves couldn't reach him.
Although the wolves were moving randomly right now, the goblin was satisfied that he wasn't hit by the claws of the wolf.
And that was why the goblin moved fast and he punched the wolf's open belly.
However, the impact wasn't that great as his fist bounced off from the wolf's belly.
"Chwee?" The goblin titled his head, but his head soon flew to the air.
Why?
It was because of the wolf's tail that cut off his head by just a single swing!
And the wolf who knew that its tail was able to kill the foolish goblin had a smug look on his face.
It was clear that the wolf was feeling proud and arrogant for being able to kill a goblin despite being locked down.
"You…"
And of course, Mos saw the face that the wolf was making right now.
However, despite his usual fiery attitude, Mos actually had quite the 'peaceful' look on his face right now.
Mos knew that he was being ridiculed by the wolf, but it seems like he really didn't care.
He just spoke peacefully, but his voice was hoarse and rough as he was struggling with the lock.
"You think you're safe, huh?"
Mos brought his face near to the wolf's face.
Because of the wolf's huge size, Mos was able to bring his mouth near to the wolf's ear while having his eyes staring directly at the wolf's eye.
That was why the wolf could hear, and see everything that Mos said clearly.
"Look in front." Mos said as he pointed in front with his face.
The wolf's eyes moved a little bit towards the front, but it didn't really change.
However, Mos was sure that the wolf could see what he wanted to say.
"Do you think you could kill them all?" Mos' voice was calm that it was soothing to the ears.
However, for the wolf, it was definitely not.
"Look at them – at those goblins, waiting to kill you."
The wolf could see the goblins who were trying to look for ways to attack the two wolves.
However, the wolf didn't really care about those pieces of shits who couldn't even do anything to him.
After all, the goblin who punched him before didn't even make him feel any pain at all.
"Ah, I guess you're thinking that they're weak?" 
It was then.
The wolf who was calm about the situation suddenly had a change in its emotions.
No…the change only happened on its eyes as it moved back towards Mos.
Why? It was because Mos knew what exactly the wolf was thinking.
"Don't worry; all of them will have a turn at you."
Mos then brought his mouth closer to the wolf's ears that it looked like he was kissing the wolf.
"If one fist won't be enough, then two. If two won't be enough, then four."
"If four won't do the trick, then eight. If eight won't kill you, then sixteen."
"We have all the hands we need to bring you down." 
"The goblins down there will punch you all day until you die."
"And if that isn't enough for you, we have our fangs too."
Moris then opened his mouth wide as he showed off his fangs to the wolf. It wasn't sharp, but his scary look was traumatizing enough to the wolf.
That was why the wolf's eyes were shaking right now.
No…it was because the wolf imagined how it would be a punching bag for the goblins.
The wolf imagined how the sharp fangs of the goblin would pierce its flesh and strike the bones while it was alive.
The wolf imagined how much pain he would have to experience. And those imaginations fed its fear.
And Mos noticed the fear.
That was why he decided to do something funny.
"Roarrr!!" Mos decided to bellow out a roar as if he were mimicking the wolf.
It was stupid, and childish. However, it seems it had a different effect to the wolf as it spasmed.
"Awwww!!" The wolf howled as it noticed the goblins who were approaching.
Their green-skinned body, claws, fangs, and scary faces…those became the source of fear for the wolf.
"Not so tough now, huh?" Mos said as he gestured for the goblins to attack.
And because of their excited state…
"Oahhh!!!"
The goblins replied back with much enthusiasm as they ran towards the wolf, not minding the power of the tail!
It was the start of the death sentence of the wolf.


Humans have ruled the continent, Pangea since long ago. They claim to be the most holy race, created by High God Bathala however with the appearance of a single man, the world was flipped by his question.

"People are good and the monsters are evil? Who decided that?!"

  I ran out of the hut with the wolf Lila, the entire village wasn't that small, with several wooden structures and small buildings the place even looked nice.
  As for the source of noise, other than those I could recognize as part of the Darkmoon Wolves. A pack of red, burly wolves with blazing red lines all over their body gathered by the entrance of the village.
  The tone of Lila's voice sounded really worried as she sighed,"Oh no..."
  "The Magma Wolf Tribe is here."
  From what I was told by Lila herself, The Valley of Wolves is occupied by sixteen wolf tribes. The Darkmoon wolves were the Tenth in the Rank while The Magma Wolves are the number 4.
  "Magma Tribe what are you doing here? You weren't supposed to come to this side of the forest." From the bigger hut in the entire tribe, I saw an old wolf, which should be the same Elder Lanis he heard before stepping towards the couple dozen beasts by the gates.
  As for the other wolves, there all seemed pretty intimidated as they retreated into their huts. Surely, those Magma wolves must be somewhat dangerous.
  "Snort* We have no reason to talk with you, our young master is about to surpass the 3-star and our chief sent us to find some females to help in his advancement. Elder Lanis, you surely won't negate this simple wish of our chief, right?" The red wolf in the front had an evil glint in its eye. 
  While Elder Lanis felt very conflicted, the fact her tribe was ranked 10 didn't mean they were better off than most tribes.  The Darkmoon wolves were a tribe of water-element beasts and unlike any other tribes, the females of their tribe could only give birth to females, which means they had no males in their tribe making them the perfect target for any other tribe.
  It was pretty normal a couple wolves of their clan to be sent to hunt some meat and never return. Sometimes, there were even kidnaping cases happening within the Darkmoon territory next the village. However, the situation changed when the birth rate for females in one of the most powerful tribe I in the region, the Magma tribe started to decrease. The Darkmoon tribe chief made a deal with the Magma chief, in the deal the Darkmoon tribe would send a couple females every year to marry in their tribe in exchange for protection.
  "Wait, we've already sent thirteen females six months ago. Now you bring others here and demand for more? The only ones who remain here are too young for that, it will take at least one year before they are at the right age for marriage." Elder Lanis took the Magma wolves to her hut as she told them the truth. Third minutes later, the leader of the ground the same wolf, which I saw before had a long talk with the elder before he decided to accept her terms.
  "Okay then. There's still a few months before the young master advances, so 5 months is the most we wait, understand?"
  "Yes, the entire tribe thanks the commander for his patience." Lanis bowed, lowing down her front paws and was about to guide the commander of the magma clan and his kin when I noticed a pair of vicious eyes locking on me.
  The Magma commander was leaving with his subordinates when his eyes noticed a human silhouette hidden within the crowd. It was a young and small figure with a pair of profound and deep crimson eyes staring straight at him as if he was some sort of monster. A large smile was about to form in his mouth when it changed into a ferocious face.
  "Human?! I'm seeing it right? Are you protecting a human?" The other wolves heard their commander's voice and shot their gazes at the human figure. A powerful and oppressive force burst forth from their bodies making the many cubs of the Darkmoon tribe feel hard to breath.
  "Keke." Noticing their leader's thoughts, all the wolves laughed as all the aggressiveness and viciousness within them was fully released at that moment. They already knew this commander of theirs would use all of this as an excuse to do whatever he wanted.
  "Colluding with humans within the territory of our kingdom, I wish to know what the royals would think if they knew about that...." The wolf talked as if he didn't want that to happen with trying to hide the evil feelings in his heart, after stepping forward, he snorted. "Boys! There is no need to talk with traitors, kill the human and take the others with us to the tribe."
   The wolf Commander reached out with its paw and a flaming claw slashed out towards Lanis who was the closest. The elder who wasn't that strong to begin with didn't even had the time to move as her head was cut in two.
  "Granny!" Lila, who was by my side cried out as she tried to rush towards Lanis, but a grabbed her and didn't let move.
  "Let me go!" Lila howled as she tried to remove my grip on her, but then I saw the wolves under that huge wolf's command come all at me while others were going into the hut and bringing the females out, no even sparing the newborns.
  All those wolves were pretty powerful, all of them could freely control flames and shot it through the air something which should be pretty hard to do.
  I was supposed to have lost my memories and I have no idea about what I should do with my life, however, seeing the bloody air within the Darkmoon tribe as innocent blood was spilt. Especially when seeing those dirty and evil wolves extending their paws towards mere children together with the smell of blood in the air made my entire body boil.
  When I recovered from my deep thoughts, I saw a pair of blood claws bathed in fire aiming straight at him. Yet, I have been as calm as I could get when I simply reached out with my hands.
  The choker around my neck shook gently as a bloody light illuminated the whole village. Lila's jaw dropped as she started intensely at me, but I couldn't even care because I also didn't believe in what I saw.
  From the tips of my fingers a dozen crimson needles were shot into the pair of wolves attacking him. The needles cut through the flames and went straight into their vital points, leaving little to no change of saving.
  Ahhh! Those who saw it all happening all stepped back, feeling intimidated by this strange killing method which even I didn't understand myself. But when seeing the puddle of blood oozing from the bodies of the few wolves he killed, I felt something.

The clearing was large, and scattered around it were giant rocks that formed small hills.

This place reminded me of a hidden garden that you'd find in fairy tales, it was tranquil and calming to be here, and its naturally beautiful landscape was breathtaking.

But that was the least of my concern as all around the clearing was the wolf pack.

The Wolves were scattered in small groups, some were dragging animal bodies back into the clearing from the other side, this must have been a hunting party gathering food.

There were wolf pups everywhere, running around and chasing each other, with there mothers looking over them from the large rock hills.

And at the center of the clearing, was what I assumed to be the alpha male Wolf.

He was large and covered in thick grey fluffy hide, his eyes were yellow and held a large sense of intelligence in them, an he was covered in scars, probably from all the fights it must of took to become the alpha.

Ok got to strategies.

What do I know about Wolfs?

 Wolves can sprint from 36-38 miles for short distances.

In the wild, wolves can live up to 13 years and up to 16 years in captivity

The main threat to wolf survival is habitat loss due to destruction, development, and encroachment of humans. 

They are also threatened due to persecution by humans.

Wolf pups are born in the Spring and they live with their mother in the den until they are about 3 weeks old.

All wolves in a pack help raise and take care of the pups.

Wolf weights vary. They can weigh from 40 to 175 pounds.

Wolves howl to communicate. if alone, a wolf may howl to attract the attention of his pack.

Packs howl together to send territorial messages from one pack to another.

Wolves are the largest members of the dog family.

Wolves can roam large and long distances, sometimes up to 12 miles (20 kilometers) in a single day.

Wolves prefer to eat large animals like deer, elk, and moose. One wolf can eat 20 pounds (9 kilograms) of meat at a single sitting.

Adult wolves have 42 teeth

Wolf gestation period is 63 days

Wolves live in family groups called packs made up of a male parent, a female parent and usually some of their pups over the previous years.

Wolf packs work together to hunt for food.

The loss of one wolf from a pack can damage the cohesion of the group and cause packs to break up.

Pack sizes range from three to twenty wolves.

A wolf pack has a set social structure and rules.

The pack leaders are the alpha male and female.

These two are dominant over the other wolves in the pack.

The alphas are the only wolves that breed and produce pups in the pack, and they also get to eat first.

Social structures of a pack can change.

A wolf lower down in the pack hierarchy may challenge an alpha wolf for pack leadership. If the alpha wolf loses this challenge, it will sometimes leave the pack to become a lone wolf, find another mate, and start a new pack.

Very low ranking wolves are often "picked on" by the other wolves and may also leave the pack.
Individual wolves in a pack play different roles in relation to the other wolves in the group.

Wolves will defend their territory from other wolf packs or other predators they might find a threat

All this was from a Social Structure study I did in college, and if all this applies to these wolves then that's good.

But it also means that most of this information will be useless to me because it's not about there Biology.

And because I hand bothered to look at there biology when studying them for the Presentation, I don't really have any choice other to wing it...

Jason didn't notice, but Boops and the rest of the wolves noticed instantly, Jason started to shine in their eyes. He gave off an aura to the wolves that gave them comfort and security like they were lying back at their old home sleeping comfortably on their mother's lap.
If anyone gazed at Jason their eyes would be instantly glued to him, sure his looks did improve, but there was just something magnetic in him, that forced a person to pay attention to him. Jason was ecstatic after hearing about the silver wings. He made up his mind to go and help them out when he got the chance.
Jason watched as the rest of the wolves cleaned up the goblins. So far, none of the wolves had gotten injuries from the battles except for the first one that Jason had joined. The goblins they were facing now were always around level 20 to 30 so Jason and the wolves could clear them easily.
Jason remembered something important and went to Boops
"Boops you remember how I need to try and recruit the wolf pack right?"
'course whats up?'
"I need the language thing you told me about"
'ah that it usually costs 3000 points but since its the wolf language it's only 2000'
"oh nice, alright ill buy it"
'wait no! don't do it ye...'
Before Boops could warn Jason 
[you have bought the wolf language skill] 
[inputting into brain]
"aww shi... @#$%&*^&(*&^%$%^^%&*&(^%^$^&*&*^%$^%$"
Boops gave a heavy sigh and said in an exasperated tone
'I tried to warn you'
Jason was behind the wolf pack when he gave off a large cry and started cursing. The wolves jumped when they heard Jason's cry. It was the first time they heard him shout in pain. And many of them rushed over worriedly to check on Jason. Sniffing him to check his condition and even placing their bodies over the Jason who had fallen due to the pain to protect him just in case.
The alpha wolf also rushed over and barked at the other wolves around him which they responded to by sprinting as fast as they could back into the forest. The alpha wolf commanded the wolves to spread out which they did and then he told the wolf standing over him to get off. To which the wolf tentatively did. Jason realized that was one of the wolves he had saved before.
Jason was still cognitive and understood what was going on. Then he realized he could understand the alpha wolf's orders. Yeah, it was kicking in. The pain was residing his headache flew away his vision became clear again and Jason let out a sigh of relief. That was when he noticed two wolves next to him holding flowers in their mouths making sure that the flower was next to Jason's nose.
When Jason woke up and sat up groggily he could hear the commotion of the wolves. Gruff manly voices were the first thing he heard
"he's awake!!"
"thank goodness, I didn't want to lose another one already"
Jason then started to hear voices from behind the larger wolves. It was the smaller ones that were always spotted playing around when they took a break.
"yeah it would have been terrible if the hooman who gave us snakoes left us to go to Lupa"
To which many more voices young and old expressed their consent
"aye"
"your right about that"
"HOOMAN GIVE ME SNAKOES"
"he's an important part of our... Jeffrey don't shout its hurting our ears."
"NO, HOOMAN I REQUIRE SNAKOES AND PETS TO OPERATE GIMME"
Jason then saw that this Jeffrey was the friendliest of the wolves, first in line to get food and the most ferocious in fighting for Jason's lap. He had spent a lot of time petting him and now hearing his voice, or at least understanding it made Jason really happy.
Jason had a sudden thought, he could probably communicate with the wolves now. So he faced on of the wolves and said 
"can you understand me?" 
All of the wolves gave out a collective "huh?" except for Jeffry who was jumping around like crazy in the back yelling
"HOOMAN CAN UNDERSTAND US, YEAHHHHHHHHHH SNAKOES PLEASE!"
All of the wolves took a step back with their faces full of confusion, Jason had become an expert in understanding the wolves after spending a few days with them. He could now figure out what emotion they were feeling just from their faces and now Jason saw their faces were full of confusion.
The alpha wolf was the one to break the confused stares the wolves were giving Jason. He walked to Jason in the middle of the circle the wolves had created and in a deep baritone voice asked Jason.
"hooman how do you understand us?"
Jason thought about this question but with no suitable response went straight to Boops for help in his mind
"Boops help please,"
To which Boops replied helplessly
'can't help if I don't know the answer'
Jason started panicking internally.
"umm ahhh Ummm dude I'm running out of time"
Boops sighed after not coming up with a solution to problem at hand.
'seriously, we need to get a speech subsystem'

After agreeing with Boops internally Jason faced the alpha wolf and said 
"a certain somebody helped me"
while giving the alpha wolf a small wink hoping somehow, something would happen and the wolves wouldn't tear him into pieces thinking he was a monster of some sort or something. That was an overstatement he realized later though. The wolves treated him like their own and they wouldn't think he was a monster that fast.
The alpha wolf muttered after seeing Jason's answer
"theirs only one being who could grant the language of the wolves to a hooman... ahhh I see"
The alpha wolf nodded approvingly and tried his best to give Jason a wink back but failed miserably and just blinked. To which Jason responded by getting Boops to record that moment because the alpha wolf looked freaking cute when he did that. 
The alpha wolf then turned to the rest of the wolf pack and said in a commanding voice that Jason had to admire
"the hooman can really speak our language, do not fear he has not been replaced by a strange creature, he really is the same hooman."
All of the wolves then started to celebrate chattering amount themselves
"whew thank goodness, I thought we lost the hooman to a mind controlling creature or something"
"yeah, it must have been the treasure flowers that we used"
"SNAKOES"
Jason looked around the wolfs had stopped worrying about him and they were talking about him and his food now. It seems like it was a normal subject around here. Thought Jason had to admit hearing the wolves praise his food and treat it like a 3-star restaurant did make him happy and boost his nonexistent ego a bit.
The wolves finished checking the camp and Jason finished looting the camp. During the raids they had done he had earned back the 10 gold coins he gave to Perseus and more.
The alpha wolf stood in front of the pack and declared loudly
"well-done men we shall now take a rest"
The wolves were overjoyed to hear about the rest they would have.
"aww yeah"
"We can finish that dam we were trying to make"
"yeah, nice!"
"SNAKOES,  FOOD, PETS UWAAAA I CAN'T WAIT"
The pack started to leave this time much faster than before. Jason could now keep up with the wolves he extra stat points really was making a difference now. Jason now was listening to the wolves conversations everything felt so new and different. Like the two wolves who were always playing in the river were actually brothers and the older wolves all had a favorite type of rabbit meat and were talking about which one was better the one with more salt on it or the pepper one.
Jason felt a nudge on his left. A younger wolf was looking at him with eyes full of sparkles. In an innocent and loud voice, he said
"HOOMAN I REQUIRE SNAKOES"
Jason laughed and pet Jeffery on the head and replied 
"yeah, yeah ill get that done when we get back"
Jeffrey smiled and nodded to himself in satisfaction and increased his speed to where he was originally in the pack. 
Jason was laughing and smiling to himself, the innocence that the wolves had when playing was really shown in their conversations. He really did like this pack of wolves.
And that was when Boops spotted dots approaching them, red ones.

Jason was just your average joe, until one day he received a job offer that came with a system and a world crossing mission. Now armed with a system and a very helpful soul, Jason left the world on a journey to the top, an adventure full of laughs, pain, and joy. A story of family, leaders, and armies.

His first destination, a VRMMO.

As I looked around the clearing I was in, it suddenly hit me how much I had gone through in such a short time. 'I still have questions and thoughts unanswered, but for now at least, I have the power to grow stronger and I'm very much not alone anymore.' And being with other people right now is definitely what I needed, 'Even if most of them aren't really "people".'

With Vallurah there, it was one thing, but as she was a being that just came into existence, there was alot lacking in terms of a companion. For now, she was more of a walking encyclopedia, and to be honest, not a great one. Through no fault of her own, of course, as she was still unaware of what information was important and at what times were the best to share said information. But she was helpful in different ways, and the only other "human" with me at the moment, so her presences was welcomed never the less.

And now there were more intelligent beings joining me, beings that's were inhabitants of this planet and could help me in ways that Vallurah couldn't. Plus, there were a lot of them.

"Alright, I accept your wishes. You may all join me." As I said this they all started wagging there tails and panting happily, but a different thought popped into my mind just then.

'I haven't checked to see what level I'm at now that I've made Odin my familiar, plus the rewards for the race and even before that, with the last packs of wolves I bound. I  completely forgotten to check that earlier before dinner, after finishing up. I don't even know what level my beast box is, let alone if I have space for all these new wolves! I need to stay on top of this more, I recognize that I'm not use to this yet, but that was poor judgement on my part. I might have been able to avoided the earlier incident if I had checked before, my stats are probably higher now. Crap I'm such an air head some times!' As I thought this I called out to Vallurah in my mind.

'Tell the others I need a minute, I don't mind your reason but I need to sit down and go through some things before I bind our new companions, understand?' I asked not really listening, trusting she would handle my request with ease.

I started to walk over to the fire pit and asked Hades to light it once more. Once he did I sat infront of the flames and opened my status screen.

'As I thought, I'm definitely at a higher level now, and with this information I should be able to ascertain a few important facts about the system. First off, it looks like my level is now at a 7, with 220/800 exp. From this I can guess that once my level hit 5, or around there, the amount for exp went up by 100 points, as that would match and make the most sense right now, but the only real way to know is to check my exp amount at level 10, and every interval of five that follows. After that, it appears that my HP and MP seemed to go up normally by 50 points each level, which is not to say that that's the only way to grow those numbers, just the current one. Next, I received 300 exp points when I gained my first beast, Thor. But every wolf after that gave considerably less exp.' I paused for a moment doing the math in my head.

'So it looks like for dire wolves, of at least level 10 and lower, they only give 40exp after the first one was caught. Does that mean the same thing will happen if I bind another species under level 10? Will I get around 300exp initially and some number around 40exp for every one after that? And what about higher level dire wolves? Will they give more of the same exp or higher?' I shook my head slightly, pushing those questions aside to be asked and answered at a different time.

'I guess next I should probably fill in the empty name slot, I'll just use the name I already have, as it would be a bother to learn a new one. I should also check my mental and physical stats, I need to distribute my status points...' Looking through all my information, I reached the bottom and found a surprise.

'My luck stat can level up?¿ How is that possible?? Whatever, for now, I'll ask Vallurah if she knows anything when I'm done later.' Pushing more questions to the back of my mind, I focused on distributing all the status points I had accumulated. I felt a surge of power after every stat that I gave points to went up, my body felt stronger and lighter, more agile. I could really feel the difference, it wasn't much, but I felt it. Once I was done with that I looked at my status screen pretty pleased with the numbers, even if I still wasn't fully aware of the differences between me and the people of this planet.

'I still don't quite understand why I have a race option and title option. Will I be able to change races in the future? And how do I aquire titles? Also, I can't add status points to my luck stat, does that mean it only levels up through actual leveling up?' Even more questions I had no answers to.

'Alright, now that that's done I'll take a few minutes to go through the tutorial I had skipped earlier, then I'll check my beast box to make sure I can bind all these dire wolves. And lastly I'll check the rewards I won from winning against Odin.' Though as I thought about it, I still wasn't happy about how I won in the end. 'I didn't even get to test my speed boost abilities.' I thought, a bit disappointed. 'Oh well, I'll just do some training with my abilities later, seeing as how I probably won't be going back to sleep anytime soon.' As I finished that thought, I looked up at the sky. Already a deep purple and turning pink in what I assumed to be the direction of west.

For the next 10-15 minutes I went through the tutorial. I didn't learn to much about the actual interfaces themselves as they were pretty self explanatory. I have my status screen, that shows my basic information plus my current level and my stats, also my Beast Box screen, telling me what level and capacity it was at, as well as listing all of the beasts I have, right now it's listing them in the order of strongest to weakest, but I could see a small filter tab, more than likely it's to allow me to change how there listed. The Magic Abilities screen, displaying my current abilities, and a system storage that has a capacity for 100 items. I did learn that I had stuff in my storage already.

Apparently a week's worth of preserved foods, plus camping equipment. 'If only I had known about this sooner.' Thinking back to trying to sleep on the ground, the only comfortable thing about it being, that I was surrounded by my dire wolves.

I also have a Life Skill screen, and a Beast Book screen. The Life Skill screen displayed a tree of skills, well, more like a bunch of roots rather than a single tree. As for what I could tell about it, almost every basic human skill and the coresponding skill sets that support that original skill was listed. The none original skills, that usually branch from an original, were placed under there coresponding skill to make the process of learning and leveling them up easier, even if that skill wasn't just used for that specific skill set. For example, one of them was Carpenter, as an original skill, and a skill that relates to that, or is under that skill, would be something like Wood Working. But that skill doesn't have to be only used for the Carpenter. Another example of an original skill is Artist, and Wood Working could be used to level up that skill as well.

Next was the Beast Book screen. This was a pretty easy screen to understand, compared to the last one at least. It displayed a list of bulletin points with question marks next to them. The top two points were filled with information on Dire wolves and Titan Wolves. It listed how many of each species I had in my Beast Box, as well as general information on them and the location in which I found them. As I read the entries I was surprised by the last bit of information, I finally knew where I was.

'In the forest of Bellok, what a.....name?' I thought as I finished going thought the tutorial and checking all my interfaces. By this time the sky had lightened considerably.

'Right, now to wrap this all up.' I thought as I pulled up the Beast Box screen.

"Wow, so I'm at a Lv. 12 with my beast box...I can't think of an explanation for how it levels up, looking at the number of exp I got, I would have expected it to be close to how my level levels up, but this appears to be totally different? I guess I'll find out later once I get more versed with the box and how it works. Anyways, good news is I have space for all the wolves that want to join me.' With that thought I stood up. Having completed the tutorial and checking all my interfaces, all I had left to do at the moment was bind them all and check on my rewards.

"Everyone." I called out loud, causing everyone's heads to snap towards my direction as soon as I spoke.

"Will you form a sort of line, I'm going to start binding you all in a moment." As I said those words every wolf pack that had yet to be bound formed a, not so straight, line.

Up first was the second Titan Wolf, Odin's mate, the queen.

"Would you like Wind Magic, like your mate?" I asked, genuinely wanting to give her the option.

"I am fine with what ever magic you decide to gift me with, master." She replied, bowing her head slightly.

"Then I believe I'll gift you with the same, as I believe it would be a smart move. As for your name, I believe I'll name you Kalypso." Finished speaking, I proceeded to bind her, noticing how much her tail was wagging after I announced her new name, causing me to smile unknowingly. I then bound the rest of the Dire Wolves, and in the end, I had leveled up my beast box another three levels.

Nodding my head, pleased with the results, 'This is definitely going to be a massive army of beast, how awesome!' I exclaimed in my mind. Next I proceeded to let the rest of the wolves out of the beast box and asked everyone to train with there magic.

It was a strange sight to behold. Almost a hundred wolves packed into a small clearing, all different colors and with different powers. As they started to train, some of them went into the woods near our campsite, and others sparred with each other, honing there skills. While they started that, I took a few more minutes to myself to finally check out my rewards.

'Pull up notifications list.' I said in my mind, and the next minute I was scrolling threw the latest notifications, to get to the few before them. Once I found the one I was looking for I clicked claim my rewards.

A notification popped up saying I had two rewards to claim. My first reward was an instant double level up, where I was once Lv. 7, just moments ago, I was now at Lv. 9. With two more status points in both my mental and physical stats, I quickly applied them. One to my agility, making it 24, one to my strength, making it 23, one to my intelligence, making it 25, and one to my perception, making it 23.

The last reward I received was a glowing blue and white crystal with other pale colors in the center of it, like a pale rainbow of sorts, it was also about the size of a grapefruit. It gave off an aura of power that I couldn't place. On the description, all it said was it was called a Opalite Power Crystal, at a advance tier level.

'Huh...well I guess this is just something else that I only have questions about and no answers to. At least for now anyways.' Finally done with all of that, I took a deep breath and decided to have a small snack before joining everyone in some training. Pulling out one of the food items that was in my storage, I thought about the items in said storage.

At the top of the screen was a few different tabs leading you to specific item storage pages. There was weapons, of which I had a couple different items to choose from, a basic dagger, a basic sword, a basic shield, and a basic bow with a quiver carrying 100 basic arrows. A page for armour, of which I had none, making me a bit confused, but I couldn't do anything about it right now.

There was the page for food items, and there were only a few food items, a handful of jerkied meat, bland bread, unsalted crackers and a few apples. On each of the food items was a little clock with a time stamp next to it, showing how many days it had before going bad. Then there was a page for potions, I had 30 health potions, 30 stamina potions, and 30 mana potions. All of which were at a basic level, I assumed that they wouldn't give a full bar of health back, especially not now, but they were still very useful items.

Finally, the last two pages were pretty blank too. The second to last page was for miscellaneous items. Holding only a camping set that consisted of a few necessities, including, a tent with a sleeping cot, a fire pit, a canteen, a few stand torches and a box with a metal bowl, plate, cup, one spoon, one fork, and one knife. The last page was were I stored the money I earned, my wallet. I remember when I first saw this I almost blew a gasket seeing how much I had. 10,000 gold coins.

Shaking my head, I pulled out a piece of jerky and the watering canteen, still thinking about the gold, and what the price of it here was compared to Earth, as well as how different our currency would be. Eating the jerky and taking I few sips of water, I finished my small snack, as well as tucked away my continuously growing mountain of questions, and turned to join my wolves in training.

"Vallurah, come here please." I called out across the clearing to Val, who was currently standing next to a group of wolves sparring with each other, giving tips here and there.

As soon as I called to her, she basically teleported right in front of me in the matter of seconds. 'Fast' Was my only thought.

"Why don't you join them?" I asked while stretching my limbs a bit before doing so myself.

"I'm about to as well, maybe we can spar a few times, what do ya say?" I looked towards her after asking my question.

"Yes master, I believe I will join you in training. I should make sure I have control over my magic and new body." She replied as she started to copy my movements, stretching out her own limbs.

I chuckled at the thought of an AI having to train, but smiled, because it was something new and exciting to experience.
