Everyone is stunned into utter silence. Their eyes follow the flying severed head as it curves along the air and descends onto the ground, bouncing against the hard concrete of the school's yard.
Then the screams start, and the combination of all the voices is extremely deafening. Enough to wake up other unconscious people.
"Woah. Woah. Woah. Did Jake just kill a teacher!? Holy shit! What is happening to him? He becomes all green and…!" Alex calls out, sounding rather excited despite what had just happened. "Is he? Is he becoming a monster!? Holy shit! We're going to be on the front page for this!"
"Calm the fuck down Alex!" I tell him and eye the monster. "Identify."
The moment that I have said the word, a window appears above Jake, allowing all to see and read the information. It is just like the Quest Window before, and it seems that everyone can see the windows regardless of whether they are acknowledged by the System or not.
Since my Perception attribute is low, the only thing that is revealed to me is its name. This is the same for everyone, as they are seeing the same information that I have invoked.
"Swamp Troll? What is that number next to its name?" Thomas questions. His hand grips his weapon tightly, readying to use it without hesitation. There is no fear in his eyes, and I like that about him.
"Its level," I answer and charge towards the semi-transformed monster. Since it is still transforming, I should be able to kill it without much effort. To that end, I swing my butcher-knife polearm, trying to behead the creature in one swoop, but it manages to dodge by tiling his head back. "Shit!"
This is the difference between intelligence monster and mindless one such as zombies. They don't go down that easy.
"Kill… kill… human…" Jake mutters and clenches his teeth, which are now razor sharp. His eyes morphs into slit as the whiteness changes into yellow. His fingers harden, becoming ever more deadly. "Kill…!"
I manage to block its strike with my weapon, but the force behind the strike sends me backwards and falling on the ground. "Fuck! Guys! Don't just stand there! Fucking help me!"
Thomas immediate jumps into action. His huge size manages to knock back the monster but not before it manages to cut his forearm. Using the chance, I leap off the ground and charge at the monster from its blindside, and with a swing of my weapon, its claw hand is severed.
Green blood sprays all over the ground. More as gunshots echo the air, coming from Alex, but despite the bullet wounds, Jake remains standing.
Thomas follows up and slams the monster to the ground. He stabs it repeatedly, but that doesn't seem to kill it either, as it other claw hand slashes Thomas several times. It only stops when I behead it.
Shit. This is much tougher than killing zombies or ghouls. That means so many people are going to die here and now, as more and more students are awoken. They all have a deranged smile on them.
 "Get him off me! Get him off me!" Max calls as he is tackled onto the ground. His attacker takes a bite into his neck, tearing out a huge chunk of flesh. It is a fatal wound, and Max gurgles to death.
"Holy shit! Holy shit!" Alex calls out and empties his gun into the approaching monster, but it doesn't seem to even slow it down. "Holy fucking shit!"

Magic is not real.

Monster that defy logics should not exist.

Yet, I cannot refute what is before my very eyes. What my mangled body has told me through painful experiences. What my dying mind has comprehended with my last willpower. 

The world that I have once lived in changed abruptly one day, and the new era dawned for the human race.

It is done by the hands of those who are known as Rulers. They call it mercy, but I know it is a game to them. If they truly wish to help the human race, then there surely a better way than sacrificing billions to uplift the selected few.

The Zoning Events was set in stone, and the dimensional barrier collapses, allowing the monsters that we could never hope to defeat with our current technology to enter our universe. Allowing horrifying worlds and landscapes to merge with our own.

And through blood, sweat, and fear, we understand that our science cannot truly surpass the natural law of the universe. 

Only through magic, the human race might survive. Only through magic, a better future can be reached.

Everything has its price, and no price is too great for the second chance.

Tom is walking through the cave that had rocks with demons in them. He notices a hole in the wall, so he goes inside to inspect it. When he does, he gets shocked. He grabs a cell phone and calls someone.
"Hey, Aida... I'm sorry for calling you at this hour but this is serious... how serious? I fear that some slightly higher class demons may have escaped... yeah... I'll go get my things and meet you in awhile." Tom finishes the call and what is seen is a lot of dead scientists and blood everywhere.
To Brayo
Jin appears being thrown to a wall, in the outskirts of his region where he lives. As he then recovers, he barely dodges a stab by the monster's nails. Jin jumps to the side and slashes at the monster's face with his sword, then a second time however the monster caught the sword. Jin then switches to a war hammer and puts the sword back into the portal, then swings the war hammer at the monster's face. Unlike before however, the monster's regeneration doesn't seem to be working.
Jin in thought: Wait what? I see, so it only works on slashes, but not through brute force
Jin has the hammer still on his hand. He jumps forward then pushes himself off the wall to the monster. As Jin was about to land a hit on the monster's head again, he was pushed off by some unknown force. Jin then rolls to the side to an abandoned house and is destroyed completely as a result.
"HEY! WHO THE HELL DID THAT?!" Jin appears throwing all the ruble off him just by standing up. Jin then notices two more monsters that look like the last one. One seems to be the leader because he's the most muscular and the tallest, and the other is kinda similar to the one Jin was fighting, except he has swords for hands. The leader one looks like he's healing the monster using blood, and the smashed part of the head is healed "What are you doing?! This is my fight! Don't interrupt it!"
"That's right." says someone on the air. Jin looks up and sees Markos jumping off a building, with Sofia next to him and charging up a fire ball. Sofia throws it and all the monsters avoid it. Markos goes to Jin.
"Jin, you okay?" Markos asks.
"Yes, just that monster dared to attack my family." says Jin.
"Be glad we arrived on time." says Markos.
"GLAD?! YOU INTERRUPTED MY FIGHT JACKASS!" Jin yells at Markos.
"You were already struggling with one of them, 3 would be too much." says Markos.
"I WOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY TO WIN!"
"Yeah? What would it be?" Markos asks.
"WELL I..." Jin tried to come up with an idea.
"See?"
"SHUT IT! I WOULD HAVE COME UP WITH ONE!"
"Hey!" Sofia calls them out "Stop yelling at each other and help me fight these things."
"Alright, Wait Sofia." Markos is now next to her and unsheathes his sword. Jin stands up and grabs the hammer.
"Just who are these guys?" Sofia asks.
"Not sure." Jin responds. Markos exhales
"It doesn't matter what their reasoning is. All that can be done now is...Is to Battle!" With that he was flashed off zipping towards the towering monster who appeared to be the strongest. Eyes widened Sofia whips her head to the direction where Markos had run off.
"We don't know what they're even capable of, come back here!" She calls out to her friend. Jin on the other hand rushes towards a monster that began to brawl him making Sofia jump out of the way. She then takes out her whip and reverse grips her dagger as a demonic like monster circles around ready to attack. "You're not a chilly fella are you?" She chuckled to herself as the monster spit out seed like projectiles that soared in her way just like hypersonic missiles... And just like those while unable to react she could still predict them as she immediately raises a fireball to defend herself as she jumped back. "Those things are Dangerous...while I'm not sure if they pack the punch, They are small and fast." She notes as the being fires more seeds at her general direction. Gesturing her hand to the side she creates a burst of flames to thrust herself out of the way, channelling the fire through her dagger she creates a burning wave that rockets towards the attacker, who in a surprising action is capable of dodging most of it as a burn etches itself on its right arm. The lass rotates her whip as flames are channeled through it once again. This time instead of making a simple wave she increases the swings as the manipulation of the hot air creates a flaming whirlwind that the lass launches towards the entity. As she engages in her brawl the black haired youth lands a piercing stab through the larger monster's pectoral, blood bursts from the wound as Markos flips back before the creature could try to strike him, Markos then lunges upwards to attack its head. To his surprise however the monster is able to defend his attack with its arm but-
'His arm morphed a stone shield! What are they?' He thought to himself as he was launched back by the creature who seized the opportunity from his distraction. The stone demon then with a swipe of his arm launches numerous shards of stone at Markos, he is able to deflect a few but others are able to hit him and due to the sudden pain he is unable to see that the pebbles seemed more like charcoal as they burned and detonated like a bomb, launching him into the arm as he lands on his ass. His clothes had some tatters and black spots from the blast, good that would be a nightmare to clean now is what he would normally think but all he could say is "Fuck...I didn't think this through" He shook his head as he recovered his surroundings.
"MARKOS! IT'S COMING RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" Sofia yelled from her position which catched his attention. Unfortunately for her, her brief distraction gave time for her opponent to close in on her and basically sucker punch her into the woods. Lifting his head up he turns around as he blocked the massive fist of his opponent with his sword, the blow sent a massive shockwave with a 20 meter radius with a sonic boom that took a noticeably longer time to follow in. The ground beneath them fails due to the opposing forces as a crater that encompasses both him and the large monster took from within the affected area. The black haired Demigod tried to push back the arm when he notices the monster...Smirking? As charcoal claws form on its hand. '...Ah dammit' The stone giant brings its claws in front of their faces...And snaps as a huge explosion erupts from it.

Chapter 5
1993 fall
    After the fight on the rooftop Austin falls down the steps of the apartment, Austin is hurt, he doesn't know how bad, only that he is. Rob drags him the rest of the way to the first floor and into the tool room. Rob takes a broom he saws it in half then uses a role of tap to tie up Austin's left leg.  
 This act is called field-dressing, in the army, this is a way to get a solder on his feet long enough to find a medic. This is not the plan in this case. The idea is only to bandage up Austin and get him home. Rob carries Austin up to his room from there. Austin is shacking and sweating. His leg swollen and purple. Neither Austin's mother nor grandmother seems to notice.
 Hours later, Austin has been passing in and out of conciseness since the fight, only now is he mostly alert. Rob is yelling up through the air conditioner to Randy.  Austin crawls over to the heating vent looking down into Randy's room. "Randy! Randy. Are you up?" Rob calls.     
 Randy is sitting against the wall looking down into Rob's apartment. "Here. What's up?"  
    Rob calls back "Randy, I saw something yesterday. Something I don't understand…" Rob's voice is shacking. "Up on the roof. Austin and I were playing and something." He can't seem to finish his thought.
    Randy yells up to Austin "Hay, Austin!"
    Austin is short of breath, he still can't  stop sweating "I'm up here."
    Randy calls "Did Rob see… It?"
    Rob exclaims "It?"
    Austin replies "Yeah. I saw it again, and it kicked my ass."
    Randy is concerned "Are you hurt?"
 Austin nods, he is tired, almost too tired to keep talking, Rob replies for Austin "he fell, his leg got all bent up."  
 Randy looks down to Rob "so you did see It then?"   
    Rob throws his hands up "What do you mean by IT?"
    Austin shacks himself to stay in the conversation "Randy, get the tape."
    Randy looks up "do you want me to come up to your room?"
 Weekly Austin calls down "yeah."   
 Randy looks at Rob "the monster is real, Austin and I got It on tape a few months ago. Meet me at the elevator.   We will show you. "   
    Rob nods, "I'm on my way up."
    Randy has seen the monster in the past. It changed her, she developed a sequence of rituals she must execute to feel safe. Randi cannot walk past a partly open door, she has to close it as she passes, if she needs to pass the door from the handle side she must hide against the wall and shut the door without looking in. if the lights are off as she looks at a door she has a flashlight she must flash at the door before shutting it. It takes her three minutes to cross from her bedroom to the front door.
    Rob and Randy find there way up to Austin's room about 10 minutes later. Austin meats them at the door. Austin is dragging himself around, he clearly is unwell. Randy holds up the tape. Austin nods wavering Randy on. 
    The three walk into the front room, Rob shuts the closet door for Randy as they pass it. Rob has seen Randy's ritual even if he doesn't understand it. Randy starts the tape. The video is of Randy and Austin performing a duet of Queen songs: Killer Queen, Princess of the Universe, Who Wants to Live Forever. The performance isn't bad, 20 years from now it would have made an excellent YouTube cover.     
 Much of the way through Princes of the Universe, the door to Randy's room can be seen opening Randy jumps from the couch and stops the tap. She points "there it is! Can you see it?" Rob crawls on all fours up to the tv squinting to try to see what Randy can see.   
 Fingers reach around the door, long jointless fingers, more wormlike then manlike, a single eye looks through the crack, large and round, like a fisheye, a foot has slipped in, not a man's foot, a narrow-covered slug-like foot.   
    Rob looks horrified as he is looking at the thing; clearly, he can see it just like Randy could "What is that?" he whispers  
    Randy explains "I call it the Long Man. Austin calls it the Glowing One." 
    Rob stars for a time for a time "Is it real."
    Randy shrugs "real enough that the three of us can see it."
    Austin joins in more than a few seconds late on the draw "it is an eldritch horror. A monster from outside space as we can understand it."
 Brooke, Austin's eldest sister, now seven years old comes in the room, she explains to them "I can see it too.  So can grandma, and Austin's dad."
 Rob looks at the others "what do we do?"    
    Randy jokes "Hope to live long enough to see high school."
    Austin grips himself by the eyes, he grunts as he tries to sit up, a defining sound fills the air as he falls off the couch. Austin faints.

 Austin is tied to a bed as the defining noise stops, he can feel movement. He is mostly paralyzed. A bright light shines overhead. Austin tries to look around. The millipedal-like monster is kneeling alongside him, it grips him by the nose and mouth with one hand forcing him to keep his eyes up. Hornet-Like stinger swings in from over the monsters head stabbing Austin in the arm, Austin blacks out again.

 Time passes, Austin has no idea how much, the light still hangs overhead, the voice's of Austin's grandmother and stepmother Ruth can be overheard nearby "Left knee is multi-fractioned, the left ankle has a hairline split. The bandaging job isn't bad, but it looks like his hamstring tie-in has been severed and is partly fused to his alkalis tie-in. We need to set the joint before we can even try to correct that. Was it you that administered first aid, Gloria?"  
    Austin's grandmother shakes her head, "I don't know who did that."
    Ruth explains "I want to go in for one more round of x-ray's, it looks like there may be an alien object under his kneecap. Expected recovery time is 4 months."
    Austin whispers to himself "Alien?" The next few days are little more than brief seconds of lucidity followed by hours of darkness.

    It is well past sunset, there is a bag hung from a rack on the wall filled with a clear liquid, there is writing on the bag, Austin can't make it out. Brooke appears standing alongside Austin, she is holding a large silver object, a charm, two winged cats with human heads looking away from each-other a stone trapped in-between their tails. Austin knows this symbol it is the crest of Zora-Austria, an old church, maybe one of the oldest. Austin has seen this charm in one of his books.
 "Grandma said to hide this," Brooke explains she sounds far away, the voice is influx like when you hear a sound from under water. 
 The shadows retake Austin.

It is raining, Grandma is standing in front of the door to the room looking out into the hallway, Austin can't see past the door, it is too foggy. Grandma whispers into the night "I can see you Grate Horned One. Step into the light and face a child of Brigid the Hearthmother." Grandma is glowing, her hair blows in the wind looking like fire. She is dressed in a coat made of scaled steel.  
Gloria reaches onto her hip and draws out a sword cast of white silver, a rounded, broad-blade, etched into the hilt is the ruin 'Tricoata' three circles drawn with a single line, and a knotted rope running up the stem of the metal. Both are pagan symbols from Sweden 4th century. Austin has a fancy for lore. Sleep clams Austin before he can ask Grandma about the sword or the holy symbol, the sounds of birds call to him, water crashes on the sand in tranquil bliss

Jim, Austin's dad is in the room when he wakes up, sitting in the chair alongside the bed.  The sun is raising. Three carpenter nails hang from his lip, a tape measure in hand, tool belt hanging from his hip. Jim produces a 2x4 from the air, he rests it across his lap and starts to draw markings on the wood with a pencil he equally wills into existence. Jim asks his son to hand him something, Austin cant understand what he is asking for.
As Austin stars at the window over his father shoulder the sun streaks across the sky, sunrise turns to sunset in moments.

The overhead light flickers, Austin can feel movement, A door nearby opens, another shuts, Austin turns his head, his mother is walking down the hall alongside Ruth.
Austin's mother complains "you told me four months and he would be back to normal" Vici is tall with thick red hair, curly and bouncy, she has the build of a professional dancer and the glamor of a punk-rock heroine like could only have existed in the 80's. She is commanding, dressed in a pair of red silk slacks and a bright red blazer. Vici is young, Austin today is already older then Vici was when Austin was born.     
Calm, controlled, the much shorter Ruth speaks with a detached disinterest. "Under ideal conditions. There have been setbacks, the patient has contracted a…"
Vici cuts in grabbing Ruth by the arm, Vici never gets sad or depressed, she gets mad "Austin is better than Jim or I, he is like you, he is someone special. Now I need him back at school. Make that happen before Thanksgiving."  
Ruth looks down at her grabbed arm "you will remove your hand from my person now." Ruth is stoic, she can't be intimidated.
Austin tries to sit up, he tries to call his mother. A weight presses down on his chest holding him still. Austin looks up, the waxy caterpillar demon is standing over him. It brings a hand close to its face. The monster mimes the stop motion, it then points directing  Austin to look down his own body to his broken leg. 
The demon is in two places at once. It is holding Austin still and conducting an operation on Austin's leg simultaneously. The beast brings its scythe-like tail down cutting a thin line into Austin's black infected leg. The monster produces from the air a set of surgical tools. Peeling the skin back from Austin's femur the monster cuts around the muscle with one set of hand the brings up a pair of pliers with a second set of hands. There is a crunching and popping sound. The monster finds something, a seven-legged squid-bug, the monster pulls the otherworld parasite out of Austin's body. 
 Austin screams. The Glowing One stabs it's tail into Austin's arm again. Austin faints.

After years on the road, A writer returns home, the phantoms of his childhood reawakened

West-east of Wendaiga, Kucunery Cave.
The black-robed giant creature sit on her throne in a dark cave, calls for his servant,
"Ryngu."
 Black mist appears, forming an entity wearing a yellow worn-out cloak. Two long horns it sticking out.

"Yes master?" Ryngu asks.
She lets out a sigh, after a moment of silence, she speaks..
"It's been 15 years, huh. A memory still lingers. I cannot forget, no matter how easy.." The black-robed monster replies.
"What's on your mine, master?" Ryngu asks.
The black-robed monster is thinking with a worried expression on her face.
"Munka. Munka Tribe." The black-robed monster says with the same worried expression.

"What about it, master." Ryngu asks.
"Someone is out to get me and he's awakening. No matter how powerful I am, I'm just...scared." The black-robed monster says with the same expression, but she is shaking slightly.

Ryngu smiles like the demon he is.
"If someone is out to get you, I will kill it for you. Master." Ryngu says with a more devilish grin.
The black-robed creature then stood up off her throne, closing her eyes. She is relieved.
She says with an intimidating, but composed tone,
"Very well then. Bring me...his head!"

"Yes, master." Ryngu replies.

Hours later...
It is raining, foggy, the air is thick.
Iron is lying on the blood-soaked sand.
"Everyone....dead. Can't....breathe..." Iron thought to himself. His right eye, left arm, two legs are missing and his intestines are exposed. His limbs are ripped off. Blood is on the sand.
"What...is...this...thirst.."
He looks to find a well that wasn't there before, he needs hydration or he'll die.
"I...need...water.."
He then slowly crawls over to the well and drinks the water. But, it wasn't enough.
"This....thirst...is....getting...worse..."
Iron looks around, beside him is a corpse brandishing a sword, lying on the blood-soaked sand.
At the sight of blood, instinct took over.
 "I...don't...need...water. I...need...blood!" Iron says as he slowly inches over to the corpse. He sinks his teeth in, draining it.
Limbs grew back, his outtards turned back into innards, except his right eye. Iron then steals an eye that is brown, from the man he drained. He is restored.
Iron got up, leaving Munka Village.

Thus, beginning his adventure.

Iron! Iron!" A mysterious voice calls out.


Iron wakes up and find himself in a bamba hut. It's been a week. He recognizes a familiar sound coming from the other room. Fap noises...
"Oh, it's Koraku." Iron says with an annoyed expression.
Iron looks around, got up and limps over to the exit, leaving the hut. The hut is located on a tall steep arch-shaped cliff in Bamba Woods.

Iron sees a boy in front of him, that has the appearance of a dwarf. His attire is a dark green kimono, dark red pants and cloth wrapped around his dark red boots..
Right hand in front, left hand forming a fist closed to his waist, facing downward, leaving openings to bait his enemies. Feet somewhat sideways and knee slightly bent.
The boy appears to be in a fighting stance.
After a moment passed, he emits an aura that is maroon red. Iron smirks and then walks over to make fun of the boy's fighting stance as his way of "greetings".
Iron sneaks behind the boy, whispering the words in a deep voice,
"SUBARASHII!!"

The young lad is interrupted, yelling on the top of his lungs,
"NAAAAAANNNNNNIIIIIIOOOOOO?!?!?!" The boy starts to pummel Iron and threw him to the ground so hard, he bounced off the ground, falling off the cliff!

Iron landed on some bamba, then on the sand, recovering from the devastating blows. Unable to get up.
The boy then jumps down to Iron, still his visible aura emits!
Shouting,
"Ho? You surprised me. Now, pay with your life!!" With a threatening tone.
It follows with the boy stomping on Iron while he's down, purely from rage!
An aura that is green appears, saying,
"Cease, Masakumo."  
Koraku looks towards him and says,
"Are you okay Ir-"
Iron appears to be battered up and bruised, knocked out.
Koraku turns towards Masakumo.
"What...did you do Masakumo.." Koraku asks. He's emitting an aura that appears to be green, ready to attack him.
"He startled me, so I cou-"
Koraku interrupts Masakumo's reason for his actions, letting out a sigh...
"I know, save it." 
"When we enter under the arch-shaped cliff, we'll be seeing panra and other grotesque monsters as we move into this dungeon. I will guarantee, you'll be startled way more often. Even worse, this dungeon might lead to your demise." Koraku explains as he bends a knee facing Iron.
"Well, we won't be arriving to the Enchanted Swamp anytime soon until he recovers."

Koraku then calls for his gollet,
"Lourou."
A snow-white aura appears, Lourou appears.
Lourou has the appearance of an eight year old. She shownno emotion, has short white hair, black Iines markings under her eyes.
She wears a white fur coat with buttons.
"Yes, master?" Lourou says with a monotone voice.
"Bring him back to the hut." Koraku orders.
"Okay, master." Lourou replies. It seems she doesn't have a will of her own.

Tomorrow morning, they are outside, far away from each other in Bamba Woods, strengthening their aura....

"Hey, Koraku, how do you emit air?" Iron curiously asks.
"Well, when a man and woman loves each other very much, they 'take it slow'. After you're born, they die or one parent leaves other parent, with 500 Tur of child support!" Koraku answers. 
"What?" Iron says with an annoyed and confused expression.
"Nevermind." Koraku replies.
"So, you want to learn about chiura?" Koraku asks.
Iron nods yes.
Koraku tells him the key to awakening chiura.
"Well then, go into your fighting stance." 
Iron does the same fighting stance Masakumo did.

"Breathe, then hold it..."
Iron holds his breathe.

It's green and it's too strong. A tiny dust tornado forms around him.
Iron is overwhelmed by the chiura he emitted, then fell to his knees. He can't catch his breath, he's gasping. 

He then passes out and the aura disappeared.

But this tale of this world starts with a brave warrior and evils that lurks within in this island, that bear the name "Wendaiga".

After a long forty minute walk in sweltering heat, I finally arrive home. As soon as I close the door, my grandpa calls out from his room "Come here, kiddo." Passing the kitchen, I see my grandmother hunched over the dining room table with a bottle in reach. She's been drinking again. She drinks pretty regularly but recently she hasn't even tried to keep it a secret. She gets angry when she drinks, attacks me for various things. Pulling my hair, berating me for hiding behind it, telling me I'm wasting my intelligence.

When I enter my grandpa's room, he says "Come closer." He's laying in bed, too sick and weak to do much else. As I approach,  he takes the oxygen hose out of his nostrils and sits up. He kisses me on the cheek and we both smile. "I love you. You know that, right?" He's lucid right now.

"Of course, Grandpa. I love you too." We hug and I kiss him on the cheek as well. My grandpa might be sick but I'm closer to him than anyone else in the world and he's the only one I feel comfortable getting near. I love him to death and my mind isn't focused on my monster when we interact. I get a brief reprieve.

Unfortunately, though, he IS sick. I've watched him go from a strong man to a sickly man barely capable of getting out of bed. A five foot walk exhausts him. Both his mind and hands fail him. He can't breathe. It's getting worse month by month and I don't know how long he has left. I try not to think about it.

I head to my room. I don't have any friends--not really--so most of my time is spent is spent inside these four walls. It feels like a prison. As I begin to sit down at my computer, my grandma opens the door. "Going to spend all night on the computer again, huh?"

"Leave her alone," my grandpa calls out.

"That's all she does! Spend all her time on that damn thing!"

"She likes it! She's good with computers!"

"It's keeping her from making friends! She needs to build confidence!"

It drones on but I drown it out. This is pretty common. Eventually, they stop bickering over me and I get to my computer. Rather than doing my homework, I spend all day on the computer. I don't need to do homework, anyways. I'll ace the tests. I always do. I waste away the day like this, playing games and browsing the internet. Whatever distracts me from the monster under my bed. Eventually, it's time to go to sleep. As I slip into bed, I remind myself that I've accomplished nothing. I've wasted my time. I've wasted a day. I tell myself I'm useless. I tell myself I'm a loser. I tell myself I'm disgusting and don't deserve to exist.

I can't sleep. Insomnia. My mind is flooded with thoughts about the monster under my bed. Thinking about his fur, his claws, his eyes, his fangs, his voice. I'm reliving the moment he moved in over and over and over. Each time, a wave of emotions crashes into me. Fear, guilt, disgust, shame, loneliness, and so on. Constant self deprecation. There's no escape from it.

Eventually, my mind begins to wane and I slowly fall asleep. Once I do, the nightmares begin.

There were at least a thousand pieces of fat that fell off from the Voodoo Demon Master, Garstagg's body.
When these pieces of fat fell off to the ground, they quickly turned into terracotta army, bronze giants, rat-men...
Then, these things rushed towards Ling Pingan.
Pow!
Ling Pingan sent a monster flying with a punch.
But his expression soon became strange.
It turned out that the monster that should have been killed by his punch stood up shakily from the ground.
That was the terrifying part of Garstagg's trump card!
In theory, all monsters were a part of its body.
As long as it didn't die, these monsters wouldn't die and would have endless life.
Ling Pingan had noticed that as well.

It stood up and didn't crawl on its belly like before.
Many fat arms stretched out.
"Garstagg is right!" The monster shook its head, and countless rotten meat and maggots fell off. "You are indeed a green skin worthy of my research!"
It blinked its compound eyes on its head and shook off all those cumbersome things.
Then, two turbid and evil eyes grew out of the rotten meat.

A brand-new monster appeared in front of Ling Pingan and Chu Weiwei.
