An alternate sequel to the original Doctor Who series (1963-1989)

This is set in an alternate universe to the 21st century Doctor Who and features an alternate 9-13th Doctors. These Doctors will be based on different actors (or rather characters the actors are known for playing,) whose images will be used to represent them.

The 9th Doctor will be based on Irish actor Dylan Moran, the 10th Doctor will be based on Tim Curry, whilst the 11th Doctor will be based on Robert Carlyle. The 12th Doctor will be based on Julian Barratt, whilst the 13th Doctor will be based on Julian Richings.

I decided to make my Doctor Who fanfic series an alternate sequel as I wanted to match the classic era in tone and style more. 

The 21st century DW is still canon however. It is simply an alternate universe. Some stories will feature alternate versions of 21st Centruy Who characters in this series. The Doctor from the 21st Century Who universe will also crossover into my universe at some point too.

This way I can keep what I like from both the original and revival, whilst creating my own Doctors.

Each story will feature a different Doctor, and they will all be at random points in their lives, though as time goes on I do intend to build up my own continuity and history.

Tong Fei looked at her belly, which was obviously pregnant. She touched her belly and said with a smile, "what little young master? I still know whether it's a boy or a girl. "
"Miss, your belly is so sharp. It should be the little young master. " The little nanny stared at Tong Fei's belly and asked, "does the son-in-law want a boy or a girl? "
The Little Nanny was talking about Guan Yihan.
At the mention of Guan Yihan, the smile on Tong Fei's face faded a little. She was the one who made this child pregnant.
Yihan was not happy in his heart. The child was so old, and he had accompanied her to have a prenatal checkup before and had not come again.
On the one hand, Tong Fei was worried that Yi Han would not like the child she gave birth to, but she also thought that it would be better once Yi Han saw the child.

Since a lot of Nightmares resided within the region, its production of cultivation towers or weapons increased and the region became one of the most important regions in the Great Lands.

Recently, the ruler of the 5th region wasn't too happy. An old man with distinct features frowned.

"What did you say?"

"…"

"The Lord of Darkness did what?"

The Chief Secretary shivered in front of the old man. He was the ruler of the 5th region and had the nickname, 'Unbreakable Steel'. His name was renowned in the Great Lands. In just 80 years after he had come up to the Great Lands, he became the Lord of the 5th region and was ranked on top of the Great Ones.

Lord of Steel, Huhyou.

He looked down at his Chief Secretary and frowned.

'What was his name… Allen?'

He had been chosen to take the position since he was born in a good family with a good upbringing, but it didn't satisfy Huhyou. Allen was in charge of intelligence within the organization but all the information he brought was outdated information.

If Huhyou fired the Chief Secretary again, it would be the 24th time during this quarter. Huhyou changed his tone and asked again, "Relax and tell me. So, what is the Lord of Darkness up to?"

Jerome, the Lord of Darkness, was the ruler of the 9th region, which bordered the 5th region. Huhyou had qualms with Jerome because of Jerome's sly and vicious nature.

'Maybe it's about time for me to settle the score with him.'

The 9th region had been up to no good in recent years. The region welcomed all fugitive Adapters and for the first time, contracted middle to low-level cultivators to increase the production of Products. They were obviously increasing their army force. This was the only possible reason. They were preparing for war.

Under the current circumstances, it was apparent that their target would be the neighboring 5th and 7th regions. Allen shivered and said, "I-it seems that the Lord of Darkness is contacting <Chaos> for some reason."

"<Chaos>? What about that place?"

Huhyou was surprised. Under the 295th Great Lords Decree, all Lords of the Great Lands were forbidden from meddling with <Chaos>.

He remembered a former secretary who insisted on scouting him. Purchasing Products or recruiting Adapters were the secretary's job so he did not really care.

'Wasn't it proven to be fake?'

The video that topped the rankings on <Little Brother>'s network had become a problem as the Cultivator had disappeared. Even now, some were debating if the video was fake or not.

"The product… is the Product that was being created under the contract by Lord of Darkness."

"What?"

Huhyou then looked more closely.

'Wait… this one…'

As the man thrust against the Frost Dragon, there was weird energy. It was very faint, but he recognized that energy.

'Awakener… in a tutorial?'

Even the Lord of Steel himself, who was the most powerful Awakener in the Great Lands, had not succeeded in being awakened in the tutorial. Huhyou quickly asked, "Where is this Product now?"

The secretary hesitated.

"…He escaped."

Escape?

"What do you mean?"

"He… refused to clear the tutorial. He destroyed the roof of the tower and ran to <Chaos> through the Tree of Imagery. That's what I heard."

Huhyou thought he misheard it.

"What about the Cultivator waiting at the 100th floor?"

Huhyou could not speak. If that was true, the Product's value was immeasurable.

'That's why the Darkness is poking at <Chaos>.'

"But does the 9th region have a connection with <Chaos>?"

"I-I came across this information while I was at it… but it seems they had been meddling in <Chaos> for a long time even before this incident."

"Long time?"

"Yes, my Lord. Few among the Ten-Clan of Chaos had been in regular contact with the Lord of Darkness."

Huhyou's face sunk. It meant the Lord of Darkness had been disobeying the decree for a long time already.

'What are you up to?'

He thought about bringing this up to other Lords for a second. But doing so wouldn't really change as it wasn't a situation for the other Lords to pay much attention to. Other than the eastern region, which was comprised of the 5th, 7th, and 9th regions, all regions of the Great Lands were battling a vicious war. It wasn't certain if the Lords of the other regions would have room to come and accuse the 9th region for its crimes.

"Who else knows this information?"

"I think it is only known within the 9th region. But 7th region would have their intel so they should know that by now."

It was very possible. The 7th region was the land of the Lord of Fire, Abraxas. Huhyou pondered for a minute and spoke.

"Go send a message to the Nightmare Union and ask for permission to use the [Narrow Door]."

Narrow Door.

The artifact that allowed 'Living' to look like 'Death'. The Five Renowned Families, or Nightmares, used this [Narrow Door] to travel to <Chaos> without dying.

"A-are you trying to go into <Chaos>?"

"No, I need an eye. We need to be on top of the situation."

"…Who should we send?"

"Send 10 people from the Gold First Class. …and send Hyeyoung."

The warriors of the Steel Region were divided into five ranks. Adamantium, Mithril, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each rank was also divided from First to Fifth Class. The Gold First Class was mostly comprised of Adapters who were at least in the 5th stage.

The leader of Gold First Class, Hyeyoung, was almost as powerful as the higher-ranked Mithril. The group as a whole seemed to be overkill for <Chaos>.

"We need to make sure. We do not know what might happen."

"Y-yes, my Lord."

Huhyou saw his Chief Secretary going away and dove into his thoughts.

'Chaos…'

There was an old friend in Chaos that he fought alongside during his tower days. He was called the best doctor back then and had the name, the Doctor of Despair in <Chaos>.

'Chunghuh, I wonder how you're doing.'

Their pathways in Awakening divided them up, but Lord of Steel thought of his old friend from time to time. Chunghuh insisted on staying as a human before becoming a perfect Awakener, but he eventually lost his life as a human.

'He would've lived longer if it wasn't for his temper.'

Huhyou smiled at the memories that he shared with his friends.

'I hope he fixed his temper there.'

"Hey, fight me again."

Chunghuh spoke with his bruised eyes and swollen cheek. He couldn't understand. He was the Doctor of Despair, the best doctor within <Chaos>. As rumored, he was also the 'Strong of the Depth,' one of the very few within <Chaos>.

It didn't end there. He had a grand past. He was born in World 12764 and was the clearer of the <Master>'s Tower. World 12764 was famous within the Great Lands. It was named the 'Middle Land' or it was also known as 'Moorim.'

Those from Moorim were automatically considered a great power, as it was the world that gave birth to the Lord of Steel and its Legendary generation. Moreover, Chunghuh was from the Legendary generation.

"I think we've done enough, old man."

Jaehwan spoke irritatingly. The Doctor of Despair was in bad shape. His clothes were ragged and his hat was destroyed. Over 20 swords were strewn out on the training ground had already destroyed and Jaehwan still hadn't pulled his sword out from the scabbard.

"I still have my final skill! Kid!"

"…"

"You will surely die if I use this! That's why I'm not using it!"

He had been saying that over and over again. He kept saying that even with 10 'Normal Slashes'.

"You can't beat me, old man."

"You never know until you try."

"You are weaker than me."

Weak? Chunghuh rubbed off blood from his nose and smiled. The blood turned into white powder and scattered.

"You insolent fool. How old are you?"

"About 50."

"How old do I look?"

"…I don't know. 200?" Jaehwan guessed.

"Wrong!"

"…then how old?"

"A thousand!" Chunghuh answered proudly. Jaehwan was a bit surprised. He had not imagined the man to be that old.

'He's like a kid for being so old.'

Jaehwan became curious about what he would be like when he turned a thousand years old.

"Do you see the difference now?"

"…"

"Even if you stabbed for over 50 years, you can't beat me when I slashed for a thousand years!"

"I only stabbed for 30 years."

"Same thing!" Chunghuh shouted. "You will not beat me!"

Jaehwan then became doubtful and asked, "Did you really slash for a thousand years?"

"YES!"

"…It looks like you only did it for 10 years."

Chunghuh exploded.

From the tower to the Great Lands to Chaos and the Depth, he only slashed over and over again. Of course, he did not do it every single day for 1000 years, but he still kept at it. For the normal slash that only took 1 second, he did 8 hours of it per day. After 100 years, he had achieved a billion slashes. His body was filled with the energy of being awakened. He left behind the power of being Adapter and moved onto a new world. Chunghuh had not forgotten that moment ever since. He didn't do as hard after he had achieved the billion slashes, but if everything he had done was counted, it would exceed 5 billion slashes.

The miracle created by all those slashes were now being focused on the blade of the old man. Jaehwan felt something and changed his stance. It seemed Chunghuh was really preparing to use a powerful skill. Chunghuh gritted his teeth and shouted.

"Let's see what you think after you take this one!"


Chapter 38

The Ten-Clan of <Chaos>
The Ten-Clan of <Chaos> consisted of the clans that controlled the vast land of <Chaos>. But they were not all of equal power or presence. There were ranks within the clans. This rank was decided by the fights between the Leaders or the war between each clan.
Thunder King Clan was the 9th ranked among them. But even if it was only the 9th rank where change often occurred, the Thunder King Clan quickly rose to power, even being introduced multiple times in [Chaos of this Month] magazine. 
'100 years! It took us 100 years to get here!'
Yong was the youngest of the Clan Leaders of the Ten-Clan. He was 207 years old, a former member of Five Renowned families of the <Great Lands>. He was more of a slave than an actual member, but he was lucky. Most of his friends who cleared the tower had been taken into the battlefield to serve as meatshields, while he was taken in as a slave of a Renowned family when he was a Non-Adapter. He lived for 100 years as a slave. 
However, when he finally earned the trust of the Youwun family after 100 years of work, he stole a skill from them. It was only a middle-grade skill in the family, but it was one of the highest grade skills in the entire <Great Lands>.
Thunder God's Energy.
The skill allowed the user to wield Thunder energy, making all cells younger, and when the proficiency exceeded the 8th level, it allowed the user to wield the power of the Thunder God freely.
He had to flee from the Youwun family Adapters for the next 20 years for stealing and was eventually killed, but the skill allowed him to become the leader of the Ten-Clan. It was a record that had not been achieved by any throughout the history of <Chaos>. 
However, here he was, a man who had only lived half of 100 years. And he was the 'Master of Gorgon Fortress'.
How was this possible? Yong could not believe it.
"Tsk, tsk. How did you end up becoming first?"
"…"
"I knew you would get yourself into such trouble one day."
"…Why are you here, Doctor?"
"To heal the ones like you!"
It was thanks to Chunghuh that Yong was able to get up so quickly. 
"Who is that man?" Yong asked Chunghuh as he watched Jaehwan stabbing in the middle of the training ground that had a hole in the ceiling.
"Master of Gorgon."
"A man with no name suddenly became the Master? It doesn't make sense."
"No, it doesn't." Chunghuh answered. "Everything about him doesn't make any sense."
Yong was surprised. The doctor never held anyone with such high regard until now. Yong felt his pride being hurt.
"I can beat him if I fight him again."
He didn't seem to accept it. "I'm the leader of Thunder King Clan. I let my guard down but…"
"You don't even stand a chance," Chunghuh scoffed. 
Yong sat down and shouted.
"NO! I was ambushed! It's not fair!"
"Wasn't it you who tried to assassinate him?"
Chunghuh spoke but Yong furiously denied it.
"Assassinate?! No way!"
That's when Jaehwan spoke.
"Sure."
Yong brightened up instantly.
"You mean...?"
"I will fight you again."
Jaehwan pulled out his sword and Yong smiled.
'That attack was definitely from the Doctor.'
He had seen the doctor's slash once. A slash that was on par with the highest grade skills of the Clan Leaders. The storm that hit him was very similar. If he was able to bring out his true power and fight, he might have a chance.
"HYAAA!"
Chunghuh saw Yong flying in towards Jaehwan and shook his head.
'Foolish clan leaders.'

Next day, the rumor that the Leader of the Thunder King Clan lost, and that the Master of Gorgon 'barely' won spread through Gorgon.
"…I spread the rumor as you ordered."
Yong reported while nursing his bruised eyes. Chunghuh cackled.
"Good."
Luckily, Jaehwan's first opponent was the 9th ranked Clan Leader. The Leader of the 9th ranked clan was considered the least powerful of the group. It would have been bad if he fought the higher ranked leaders, as the other lower ranked ones would cower away after hearing that Jaehwan had defeated them. Chunghuh asked, "Did you make sure that the Master 'barely' won?"
"Of course."
The leader of the Thunder King Clan was a 6th stage Adapter. If that man was barely defeated, it would mean that the Master only had power equal to that of a 6th stage Adapter.
A 6th stage Adapter was powerful, but it wasn't enough to fight against the Leaders of the Ten-Clan.
The 7th ranked Divine Lady Clan Leader was a 7th stage Adapter, and the other leaders were 8th stage Adapters. Yong sighed.
'I will be taken to the <Depth> then.'
Yong didn't feel good about it. The rumor itself didn't mean much if other the Leaders defeated Jaehwan, as he would not have to join the [Depth Expedition Team], but the problem was that no one came to his mind.
'Maybe the Leader of the Sky Dragon Clan or the Arms Extreme Clan?'
The Sky Dragon Clan ranked first and the Arms Extreme Clan was the 2nd. Their leaders were at least two times ahead of Yong. But were they enough to defeat Jaehwan? He wasn't sure.
'No, that is not possible. The other Leaders will defeat him for sure.'
Yong knew some of the Leaders had already entered Gorgon Fortress. They were probably on their way by the time they heard the rumors.
'Doctor, even if he is that strong, he will not be able to fight against all of Ten-Clan.'
Yong glanced at Chunghuh and was shocked.
'…Huh?'

This is the story of a man who had refused to go back into the past when everyone else had decided to do so.

Until the very end.

Sam read through the node and further read through, many similar nodes. Even though he didn't come to a definite conclusion, the fact that the Alliance government had fully controlled the sky network and not revealed the entire truth of the situation pointed towards the truth being something that was similar to what the node writer had said.
Next he began surfing aimlessly until he ended up in the conspiracy theory section. That is when he remembered that he had a much more important thing to seek an answer on.
So he searched for the node called Kingsland. To his surprise he found that this was a game discussion node, Kings Land was a very popular game among the young rich people . This was also another brain child of the genius who developed the sky watch, The game was a virtual reality game where people could enter through their consciousness, but to play the game one needed to buy the package that looked like a king's coffin and was priced similar to a king's coffin. So only the rich enjoyed the privilege.
The node that Sam entered was something in the dark network so it was shady. This specific node sold different services for a price, like cracks, information and many other special services. Sam searched for the account called darkwitch and soon found it. He had to create an account himself, Sam thought for long before coming up with an account name that he was pleased with.

The old doctor was going through her work when her Sky watch showed a message .
{ The philosopher's king had sent you a friend request..}
the Doctor thought [ who is this idiot that calls himself the philosopher's king, probably some narcissist . Let me check the attached message.. Oh it was the youngman that I met yesterday ]
After adding him as a friend, they started chatting. Sam had come prepared and bombarded the doctor with many questions. By the time their chat ended it was closing to evening, Sam had to return so he said his farewell in the chat group.

While traveling back to the village he was thinking about the conversation that he had with the doctor.
According to the doctor, ordinary people could live up to 150 years if there were no other external factors involved, someone who kept fit and took care of their body could live for longer. Then there were the rich who could buy all kinds of medicines and nourishment, they could also keep their life for a very long period. There were also scientific ways of extending life, even though they could keep the body from ageing,  the soul and the universe didn't agree with this which also resulted in death eventually.  
But the real people who could live forever were the practitioner of the warrior path. Only the talented people could walk further into this path. With all the research that has been going throughout millions of centuries, the present world has developed to a point where  with outside aid any person could enter the path of warrior.
  But if they couldn't advance they would remain a little more strong than an ordinary person. Someone like a Martial arts practitioner.
Since the people of this realm remained the same as ordinary people they were called simply warrior's and the realm was called warrior's realm.

Then suddenly, the man who seems to be leading the group decided to kick the door open. With all his might, he suddenly lifted his foot and hammered it towards the thin wooden door.

A loud sound could be heard. However, the door still won't budge. And the man who kicked the door stood on the spot and felt his whole body stiffen. He didn't know why but some unknown force seems to have absorbed his strength and has currently rendered him a bit weak and feeble.
Everyone had a look of disbelief in their eyes as they eyed this mysterious phenomenon.
Suddenly the man recovers his composure and took a few steps back. Then he commanded the other black cloth soldiers to try and kick the door, while he shifted his gaze to the other to try and enter the room through other means.
With his command, the group of black cloth people circled and some even tried to jump through the closed windows and use their shoulder to destroy it while jumping so that they could break-in.
But another mysterious thing happened. Everyone who forces their way was all repelled and felt weakness in their bodies for a while.
"This is weird… this place might be haunted… we… we should go back." Said one do the guards who tried to ram a window and got stuck in midair for a few seconds before falling to the ground in a sorry state.
"Draw your weapon!" said their leader who seems to be angered now.
As they hack through the wooden door and windows, they discover that they can only scratch the surface but not destroy the thin wooden door and windows.
After seeing this, everyone is now terrified. Even the leader slowly steps back. He is now thinking of what his men told him about this place being haunted. Then with turn, he suddenly ran away leaving his confused men behind.
Everyone then followed and left the place.
Shin Jiao who is standing above the tree smirked. He has created a barrier based on the power of the white stones. The black and white stones absorb many types of energy and in turn, they can also repel them. Though it is not absolute, he learned that it all depends on the wavelength pattern. There are wavelength patterns that the black and white stones could accept. Other than that, they would either absorb or repel them.
Hence the array he put in that room has the ability to repel any type of force. But of course, it's not absolute. Shin Jiao's knowledge of the control of the two stones is not yet perfect, so he can only do this much.
He silently walked towards the door and as he followed a specific pattern, he successfully opened the door.
When he came in, he saw two shivering figures lying at the side of the bed.

"All of you, shut up!" shouted the patriarch while holding his temple as if he is facing a huge headache.

When they heard this, everyone turned silent.

"Are you crazy? We already discussed this… that was your stupid plan before and we voted that it is not feasible, it would not benefit the clan." shouted another elder.
"Greedy bastards… you can have your plan then, for me, I will wash my hands on this." the 9th elder said as he strode out of the room.
When the figure of the 9th elder was gone, silence pervades the room as complex emotions could be seen at each of the people inside.
But the patriarch at this time has his brows knitted. He is pondering whether to follow what the 9th elder said or do something to get their hands on that young doctor's prestige. That thing called prestige and status is what the clan truly needed right now.
With a deep sigh, the patriarch solidified his decision.
