If you are suffering from some kind of depression whether it is from sin or financial problems, you might want to hear this verse from the Bible. It is simple but so life changing. 
 
 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

 Such inspiring verse from the Bible don't you think? It is very short and simple but is very true. You can try all of the tactics you want but without God's permission, it will never work. But, if you love God with all your heart, it would be obvious He will love you back. Doesn't parents always want best for their child? If so won't God also want the best for you? He is the creator of the universe and has absolute power.
 
Of course if you love Jesus with all your life, He will always find a way for you. For those who are struggling trying to repent but keep sinning, always remember God and what He wants to do with you. If you sin again then repent to God again, turn from your sin. 
 
While trying to turn from your mistakes always find solutions to your problems. Let's say you suffer from an addiction, you might want to memorize some Bible verses. It will really help you. Memorizing the verse I put in the start will be really effective. But remember if you fail and displease God once again, never give up. If you ask a succesful businessman how to make a successful business the majority will probably say, "When you fall, rise up again no matter how much times until you can gain success". So if you disobey God do not succumb to your sins saying to yourself, "I can't do it. I'm too weak. God will never forgive me". No, do not say that. Continue on with your journey. Never give up. Always remember, never give up and always keep God by your side.

 If you suffer from school, let's say you get bullied, always remember what Jesus said in his time, "If someone throws a stone at you, throw back bread". What Jesus meant here was if someone gave you hate and curses, give them love. Just as the Bible says, "Overcome evil with good". So if you keep getting bullied at school, tell your teacher. If they still keep bullying you, ask God for courage to face your bullies. Ask God to give you courage to tell your bullies that what they are doing is wrong. 

 But when I say courage, I don't mean to go have a fist fight with them. The commandments say, "Love thy neighbor as you love thy self". So if you fight them, you have disobeyed this commandment. What does the Bible say about this? Well it says," To overcome evil with evil is no different from what you have overcome and you made no difference in what the the evil you overcame did". So do not fight with your bullies, love them. Like they are your brothers and sisters.

 But let's say you are depressed because of school itself. Your homework is stacked, you are the smartest student so the teachers make you learn so many things all at once for a contest, you have an upcoming important test and you need to study but you lost some of your handbooks if not all of them. Remember this, every single person in this world suffers from something. You may have a cut that hurts so bad, but what if the person you are talking to professing everything you are suffering from have stabs? Depression and anxiety are the tests God gives us to see if we are worthy of eternal life. So remember, never succumb to sins no matter what. As I said memorizing Bible verses is very useful.

Dear Z and A,
I know you two have a lot on your plate. But I hope you find time to study this. I offered L to send him some of my sermon notes so that he can peruse it as it seems that giving him this information would be extremely beneficial for the future. But he rejected it.
He said that he would rather listen to me speak about it personally. Apparently, he wants to believe in it and given his intellectual bias, he may turn deaf ears to the lessons in my notes. He wanted to not only know of what I know but have a chance in believing and he hopes that listening to me would do far more benefit than just reading some letters. I understand his intentions. The best way to learn about something is to believe in it. So he suggested having a personal meeting. I'm wanted to conduct a Bible study but with the way things are now, I guess it will have to wait.
Z, I hope our previous discussions from so long ago, (it feels like it's been another lifetime, right?) have somehow created a foundation of belief. Perhaps what had happened to you is one of the miracles that the Almighty allowed. I firmly believe this. So I am hoping this letter would allow you to better understand what actions to take and that you could pass this information along to anyone who you think could help in this. You have been taking the right steps and I guess it would be attributed to our talks from long ago.
Anyway, here is the draft of a conference message I've prepared to give on one of our upcoming Bible Conferences. Perhaps this may give you some insight on what to do with your life and how you can be of benefit to the lives of others.
Also, that kid from Psalms 1 might also benefit from reading this. I have a feeling that he wouldn't want to attend a Bible study hosted by me because of our 'conflicting' methods.

A Study on Typology (I will be discussing more of this during the Bible Study and explain the key aspects in detail. Treat this study as a primer for the things to be discussed soon.)
Prophecy has always been something that people found intriguing and mystifying.
The Bible contains the most prophecies that have been accurately fulfilled in human history.
For example, the prophecy on Tyre in Ezekiel 26…
In that Prophecy, several prophetic elements that seem extremely unlikely to be fulfilled if we apply the science of probability. For the sake of time, I will only go over several key aspects of the Prophecies and will not deal with any other prophecies made against Tyre on other verses in the Bible.
I have selected five of the 'most intriguing' prophecies that were fulfilled right down to the dot and remind you, that the chapter consists of more elements that have been fulfilled.
As a background, Tyre as a city is composed of two parts. One city in the mainland, called 'Ushu' or Old Tyre, and another city built on a small island about half a mile away from the shore of Old Tyre. This city on the small island is commonly known as Tyre.
In Ezekiel 26, Tyre was supposed to be:
1.       Attacked by Nebuchadnezzar (v. 7)
2.       Attacked by "many nations" (v.3)
3.       The stone and timbers of this city would be thrown in the sea (v.12)
4.       Will be scrapped like a bare rock (v.4)
5.       The Ocean depths will rise over it (v.19)
A popular opinion regarding prophecies is that any prophecy may eventually be fulfilled as time pass by as the things that have been written may be fulfilled by chance. If Chapter 26 of Ezekiel talks about any city, with any conqueror, that is indeed true but this chapter exclusively talks about the city of Tyre.
This prophecy is not talking of any city. No, it's not the city of New Birth Forth or the City of World's Helm. It's taking about the city of Tyre.
And this city is to be attacked by Nebuchadnezzar. Not by Hitler, not by the Fire Nation, not by Team Rocket, but by Nebuchadnezzar. A specific person living in a specific time. And this city would also be attacked by many nations, its stone and timbers would be thrown in the sea and the city will be scrapped like a bare rock and that the Ocean will somehow rise over the city itself. It's interesting how specific it is.
Now, historically, the first aspect was easily fulfilled.
About a decade after the prophecy was believed to be written, Nebuchadnezzar attacked the city and we have evidence to support this historic fact. But Nebuchadnezzar was only able to conquer Old Tyre as the other city on the small island was naturally protected by the sea and Tyre had an impressive fleet of ships.
So none of the other prophecies were fulfilled. Numbers two to five on our prophecy list were not fulfilled during this attack.
Should we now mock the Bible for its inaccuracy?
Be aware, that the remaining clauses of this prophecy are almost impossible to fulfill.
Why would the city be attacked and someone would be so bored as to take the stones and timbers from the wrecked city and throw it on the ocean? Why would they do that to the point of scrapping the ruins of the city to a point that what remains will look like a bare rock? And how will the ocean rise over it?
The fulfillment of the other aspects of the prophecy occurred nearly 200 years later.
The Prophecy was written sometime on 587-586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar attacked it on 573BC, but the fulfillment of prophecy points numbers 2-5 would be on 332BC when a man who conquered nations led an army consisting of armies coming from different nations and attacked the very city of Tyre.
We know this man to be "Alexander the Great."
We know Alexander the Great would force another nation to submit and aid him in his conquest so many nations could easily be fulfilled at this point.
He led his armies and attacked Tyre, conquering Old Tyre once more. But this wasn't enough.
Tyre was arrogant and mocked Alexander for failing once more as the settlers have retreated to their city-island protected by their vast fleet of ships. Seeing as how Tyre remained safe like a turtle and having the sea as a natural barrier with a fleet of ships that even Alexander the Great could not easily destroy, Alexander and his armies came up with an ingenious plan.
A great task of building a man-made bridge from the coast of Old Tyre to New Tyre started. Alexander ordered his men to take the ruins of Old Tyre, throw it to the sea to build a bridge to which they can use to attack the city of Tyre.
In this, Prophecy points numbers 2-4 have been fulfilled. The prophecies which seem almost impossible actually happened.
Many nations came, attacked Tyre, took the ruins of the city and threw it to the ocean to make a small bridge, scrapping Old Tyre like a rock.
But what about number 5?
Well, because of the man-made bridge which supported and allowed Alexander to send his armies to attack Tyre, the topography of the island changed making the bridge leading to Tyre into a peninsula which exists to this day. Because of this change which led to a massive geographic change on the area, the location of the Old Tyre was eventually buried by sand and water ultimately, burying the location of Old Tyre underwater forever.
God sent Nebuchadnezzar and later fulfilled it some 200 years later in the person of Alexander the Great. But the last bit of prophecy would be fulfilled about a thousand years later as the coastline of Tyre changed because of the man-made bridge of Alexander.
Now you calculate the odds of this prophecy being fulfilled? What other nation, since 587 BC, was named Tyre, attacked by a Nebuchadnezzar and later by many nations, and apparently, the entire city structure is thrown to the sea, scraped like bare rock, and later sinks to the ocean? What are the odds of that happening? And remember, I haven't listed ALL the prophecies that Tyre is supposed to fulfill!
Now this may come as an intriguing historical study, but the reason I'm discussing Tyre is to formally challenge whether or not this Prophecy would have only ONE fulfillment or will it be fulfilled again? What if, the verses in the Bible may be foreshadowing something that will happen in the future.
Now, let me clarify, I honestly believe that in Ezekiel 26, most of the prophecies written there have already been fulfilled. What I'm saying, is that we open our exegesis to the possibility that it could be fulfilled again!
How would something that had literally happened be fulfilled again? To argue, I would like to point you to the study of Eschatology, or the interpretation of the End of Times. We call it the Apocalypse, the Last Days and so on. Many camps and theological schools all have different opinions and interpretations as to their fulfillment. And throughout the course of history, there have been several interpretations which the people of that time were sure of because it made sense.
During the time of Apostolic era, if you read the Book of Revelation, you would say, the anti-Christ is Rome.
Hundreds of years later, Martin Luther made the same conclusion during the Reformation period. Their study of the Word led to this conclusion.
Back in World War 2, everyone believed that the Anti-Christ was Hitler. The Jews who suffered so much would certainly think so as well.
During World War 3, everyone then blamed Graden Pouterfisx to be the Anti-Christ as it led to the further destruction of Israel.
Right now, because of the Australian Avarice, many even say that Australia is the Anti-Christ.
And for the Australian natives of today, they would say, Harker or that gamer-turned-terrorist Lowengren is the Anti-Christ. (Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised.)
Others believe, that it's the World Governing Powers, and still some point to that miraculous E-Sport Gamer, Seeker Carlean to be the Anti-Christ as he must have sold his soul to the devil to be that good in Piercing! (Z, as you noticed, I like to add current events like this as a sermon illustrations to draw attention to the younger audience. It really makes most gamers listen to my sermon if I mention famous e-sport players.)
And quite honestly, except those saying its Seeker, the rest had a valid reason to claim that this was the Anti-Christ as they displayed a shocking level of depravity, wickedness, and immorality.
Are we to assume that they were all wrong? Perhaps… Or maybe perhaps from Hitler, all the way to the Australian Avarice, they have been "Types" or signs that will simply point us to a Final Anti-Christ. Perhaps, God, in order to constantly remind us that His Word is True and indeed miraculous, has destined history, as written in the Bible to have several fulfillments, many of which are partial fulfillments or foreshadowing to a final fulfillment?
And it is in this vein, that we find ourselves in the study of Typology.
Typology is the study of signs, symbols and the interpretation of Types.
Let me take a positive example to further cement my case…
You've heard me say several times that I say Samuel in the book of 1 Samuel of a "typology" or a sign that points to Jesus. In many ways, an appropriate approach would be to read 1 Samuel with the assumption that Samuel foreshadows Jesus.
If we go to the prophecy in 1 Samuel 2, God got angry at the current High Priest, Eli, and prophesied to Eli that Eli's lineage would-be priest who wouldn't reach old age and that their line would stop serving in the altar. After that, God gave this prophecy in 1 Samuel 2:35,
"I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always."
Now the immediate assumption as to the fulfillment of this prophecy, if we follow that story, is that we would assume it to be fulfilled through the priest to Samuel. Samuel took over when Eli died, he ministered faithfully and replaced the line of Priest that served in Israel.
According to the Bible, we do not have any records of Samuel ever committing sin, and even on his death, he challenged Israel of this, to which Israel responded that they have noted no sin in Samuel's lifetime. If you think David had a magnificent title, "a man after God's own heart," consider Samuel's title. A man who will do according to God's own heart and mind.
But on the other hand, many would challenge that this verse does not refer to Samuel but to Jesus because of the clause that this priest will "minister before God's anointed ones, always." Which basically implies this priestly line will forever serve God. And only Jesus could fulfill this role.
My interpretation and I hope this congregation's interpretation and conviction, would be that this verse was fulfilled in two ways.
Samuel was the initial fulfillment and is a typology to the final fulfillment, which is Jesus.
The Bible has been doing this several times and using a certain Old Testament verse and make it a sign that eventually points to Jesus. In other words, these verses have more than one fulfillment.
A partial fulfillment of the sign in the form of Samuel, a righteous Priest who was impeccable in actions and wisdom, and later the Great High Priest that we have in Jesus.
1 Samuel also introduces David, a typology of Jesus in the areas of being a King.
But of course, this alone could not be supporting evidence for my theory in the study of Typologies. So let's take a look at another interesting and puzzling verse which shows a unique example of a typology.
We go to Hosea 11:1 and find an interesting phrase here that was used by the Gospel writer Matthew.
"Out of Egypt, I called my Son."
This is a strange verse to use because mainly, according to the context of Hosea 11:1, the son here refers to the nation Israel. Why did Matthew later use this verse to mean Jesus? We all stand with the idea that the Holy Scripture is inerrant. So why would Matthew, in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, use this verse in its wrong context?
My answer is Typology.
Let us first analyze what's going on in Matthew.
Joseph and Mary had escaped from Bethlehem because of Herod. They lived in Egypt and waited for Herod to die. Upon Herod's death, Joseph returns to Israel and so, Matthew summarizes it in verse 15 of chapter 2, And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."
Matthew quotes Hosea 11:1 and immediately assumes that this is speaking of Jesus when in actuality, the context rules that we so hardly adhere to, dictates that Hosea 11 is talking about the nation Israel!
Typology easily resolves this issue. If we are to assume that Israel has always been a typology of Jesus, a temporary sign and can have more than one fulfillment in the great passage of time, we can then easily accept this verse.
By accepting that Israel in Hosea 11, represents Jesus, we can actually see that in many ways Israel did foreshadow Jesus.
Jesus, like Israel, stays in Egypt and leaves to return to the Promised Land. Jesus, Like Israel, is sent to the wilderness to spend a passage of time connected with the number of 40. Israel spent 40 years wandering in the desert, Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
The Gospel records that Jesus was sent to the wilderness to be tempted and tried, wasn't this the case for Israel?
And isn't it interesting, that in the famous encounter between Jesus and the Devil in that same wilderness where Israel was tested, Jesus answered the Devil quoting verses from the book of Deuteronomy?
Deuteronomy discusses most of the consequences that Israel suffered because they failed. In this Typology, Jesus acts as the perfect version of Israel. He goes out of Egypt, is tempted by the devil in the wilderness exposing Him to hunger, thirst, and the danger of being killed by wild animals.
In Israel's hunger, they complained to God, and the reluctant response of God was to send Manna from heaven, Satan uses this same strategy and tells Jesus to make stone bread, but Jesus quotes from Deuteronomy saying that man shall not live by bread alone.
Jesus fasted in that 40 days in the desert. The Israelites feasted with unlimited manna and even by sending birds which the Israelites can easily capture and eat. I can go on and on, but if you analyze the remaining challenges that Satan poised to Jesus, we find that the Israelites actually failed on all of these temptations. In fact, I would go as far to say that the temptations Jesus faced and the temptations Israel faced were roughly the same!
But it doesn't stop here, if you've read through the Bible, you will know that the moment Israel finally enters the Promised Land, you'll be reading through the Book of Joshua. And in Hebrew, the name for Joshua is Yeshua, the very same name to which we translate the Name, Jesus!
So Joshua becomes a typology, a foreshadowing that the book of Joshua will also repeat in history. We've already seen hints of that! That scene in Joshua 10 where kings in their retreat hid in caves to flee from Israel. Is this not the same vivid imagery explained in the book of Revelation which will be the scene when Jesus returns?
At this point, I argue, that perhaps in the dogmatic ways of our interpretation of Scripture, we have long set aside the possibility that if the Bible is promised to be the Word of God, Inerrant, relevant and true, then would it not be true for all ages? Is it possible to see this foreshadowing's again and again?
I will not be surprised, ladies and gentlemen, that in the near future, the very events we read in the book of Revelation will become a typology! A sign that we may soon see, in anticipation of the Second Coming!
We have long interpreted the book of Revelation and its various events to have passed! How many writers and Bible teachers have risen up to explain how World War Three fulfilled many of the verses in Revelation.
I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm saying they could be right. But in this sense, that what they explained are but typologies and these signs that may repeat itself unto final fulfillment.
So read the Book of Revelation! Read the book of Joshua! Read the Book of Daniel! Of Zacharias, of the many verses and the many books in the Bible which speaks or alludes to the coming end!
We could all come witness to various typologies of events that will have its ultimate fulfillment when Christ return. As for me, I may sound insane, but with the recent events that have been happening, I am certain now, we will bear witness to many foreshadowing's itself! Make no mistake!
Perhaps, in the coming days, chaos will be revealed. And perhaps, in the coming days, someone will rise up perhaps as another foreshadowing of Jesus who will appear in Power and Might! Perhaps, in the days to come, you will all see the Way!
Let's close in prayer…
(A and Z, I do hope this gives us a roadmap of future actions you have to take. Revisit the stories in the Old Testament. I have a feeling that one of our friends may be anticipating the revisiting and fulfillment of the prophecies in Egypt. It might take some time until the Bible study after all. So the specific plans that I have in mind to make the world believe in God  cannot be explained. For now, read and follow the Word. Oh, and if C and G are free, have them visit me here in the Americas.)


An alien race invaded the Earth on June 6, 2128. At the midst of this war, many nations allied with the alien threat and the war nearly wiped out the rebelling humans of the planet. At the edge of mankind's survival, the United Nations Army launched its forces to eliminate the immediate stellar threats that loomed over Earth.

General Seeker Carlean, commander and leader of the mission, risked and gave his life to destroy the immediate stellar threat. The battle was won though Earth lay in ruins. Perhaps mankind will live to see a few years of peace before the alien threat returns to wipe out their existence.

At the immediate aftermath of the stellar battle, the fallen Seeker Carlean awakens and finds himself at aged 17, living the peaceful life he lived 16 years before he died.

So begins a new game in the battle for humanity's survival.

Early witches were people who practiced witchcraft, using magic spells and calling upon spirits for help or to bring about change. Most witches were thought to be pagans doing the Devil's work. Many, however, were simply natural healers or so-called "wise women" whose choice of profession was misunderstood.
It's unclear exactly when witches came on the historical scene, but one of the earliest records of a witch is in the Bible in the book of 1 Samuel, thought be written between 931 B.C. and 721 B.C. It tells the story of when King Saul sought the Witch of Endor to summon the dead prophet Samuel's spirit to help him defeat the Philistine army.
The witch roused Samuel, who then prophesied the death of Saul and his sons. The next day, according to the Bible, Saul's sons died in battle, and Saul committed suicide.
Other Old Testament verses condemn witches, such as the oft-cited Exodus 22:18, which says, "thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." Additional Biblical passages caution against divination, chanting or using witches to contact the dead.

Part 6:
Picture the sun rising on a beautiful, clear morning. We see it slowly peeking out over the 
horizon. As time passes it becomes more noticeable, the heat increases, the light becomes 
stronger until it is fully visible, a ball of light casting its intense glow over everything. 
The earth awakens each day to this light; plants grow and life is sustained. In much the same 
way, the Son rises in our hearts. We accept him into our lives and he progressively over-
comes the darkness of our old lives, lives without him and full of self. As bits of this dark-
ness are forced away through our increasing knowledge of him, the Son blazes forth, in ever 
greater intensity, into our everyday lives. We become partners with him as we become more 
and more aware of his power in us.
I believe the Bible calls us to this progression of experienced power when it says, 
"Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14, NIV). 
We see in this verse a wonderful promise of seeing Jesus Christ work in and through our 
lives and circumstances. When Christ shines on the life of the believer, things happen!
Our focus here is on spiritual power. There are many kinds of power: secular, po-
litical, physical, informational, and even personal. However spiritual power, God's power 
imparted to us by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, trumps all other power whether it be 
earthly power or other supernatural power. 
More and More
The Son-powered life is Christ, the power of God, living in and through us. However, know-
ing this fact and experiencing the reality of that relationship are two different things. The 
Son-powered life begins at the moment of spiritual birth and develops as we cultivate ourrelationship with Christ. We learn to trust Christ daily to live his life in and through us.
As I've spent time studying God's Word, I have found that many Scripture verses re-
late to one another even though they may be from different places in the Bible (this is one of 
the key principles of the Sonburst diagrams). One verse may tell us one thing and another 
verse amplifies that thought, principle, or picture of who God is or what he desires for our 
lives. When we actually put these verses together, we can see how God has woven his mes-
sage throughout the Bible. Here are several verses that illustrate this principle, particularly 
as it relates to experiencing Jesus Christ as our power.
In the Old Testament we read:
Lord … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!
 —Judges 5:31
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free." 
 —Malachi 4:2
And then Paul tells us in the New Testament:
I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in 
human wisdom but in the power of God.
 —1 Corinthians 2:4–5
But to those called by God to salvation … Christ is the power of God and the 
wisdom of God.
 —1 Corinthians 1:24
In these verses, we see a demonstration of God's power being brought to those that 
love him. As an added bonus, we also experience healing and freedom and salvation and 
wisdom. This is Son Power actively working in us and through us!
Paul tells us that this power, from God's unlimited resources, begins internally. A 
work must be done on the inside of us in order for this power to be properly operational. 
Our inner person must be strengthened by the Holy Spirit, so Christ can more fully possess 
our hearts and lives as we trust in him to do so. In this way, the roots of our spirit beings 
can grow deeply into the soil of God's love. As this happens, God can bring to perfection in 
us, the "fullness and power that comes from God." 
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creatorof everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimit-
ed resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then 
Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will 
grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to 
understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how 
deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to 
understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and 
power that comes from God.
 —Ephesians 3:14–19
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your 
hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus 
Christ.
 —1 Peter 1:13, ESV
As we grow in our relationship with Christ Jesus we experience not only more and 
more of him, but more and more of his love and power and grace in our daily lives.
Less and Less
As we experience more and more of Jesus in our lives, we also can start to happily experi-
ence less and less of self. In the book of John we read these words spoken by John the Bap-
tist, "He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less" (John 3:30). This 
process can take place without us noticing, but eventually we should see evidence of this 
occurring in our lives as we cultivate our relationship with Christ. This is literally the power 
of Christ beginning to permeate our entire life.
The object of our faith is critical. If we trust in the power of self to live the Christian 
life, we will fail. Self is always ultimately powerless. Self relies on the old "try harder self-ef-
fort" model and is intent on meeting the demands of the law through works. We try and 
try to do and be what God wants, but unfortunately, the flesh is incapable of satisfying the 
perfect, exacting demands of the law. However, when Christ is the object of our faith, we 
trust him to live his life in us and we accept his power to achieve it. As we learn to become 
less and less, Jesus Christ becomes more and more. 
Paul wrote to the Colossians, "For you died to this life, and your real life is hid-
den with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3). As our life becomes more and more "hidden in 
Christ," he takes increasing control. This happens while we progressively focus our attention 
on Jesus and his desires for us. The true ultimate goal for each one of us is to have a life com-
pletely hidden in Christ.Just as the sun rises daily to full strength, our desire as Christians is for the Son to rise in his 
full strength during our daily lives. This can only be accomplished by understanding and 
applying the truths of Scripture to our lives. Only God can command this light to shine out 
of our heart as we learn how to die to the three amigos of Me, Myself, and I. Only then can 
the life of Christ rise in us, bringing forth his power and beauty.
This is in harmony with the spiritual truth that he must become more and more, and 
I must become less and less.
Let's begin with the relationship verse: 
Lord, … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power! 
 —Judges 5:31
Do you see that key word right in the middle of the verse? Love. It is such a relation-
ship word! We love God … and he loves us as well. And it is because of his love that we have 
the promise that we can rise in power. God also uses his love as a vehicle of change in the 
life of a believer. He loves us, and when we accept his love, it creates in us a desire to knowwho is doing the loving. Wow, the Creator of the universe loves me! This love is what mo-
tivates us to do what God wants us to do. It is cultivated by sowing into our hearts the idea 
that God loves us, and allowing his love to grow into our lives, the new life which Christ has 
given us.
What we learn about our relationship with God leads us to a new revelation about 
what he is and how we are to interact with him:
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free."
 —Malachi 4:2
One key principle we learn from this verse is that because of our relationship with 
God, we fear him. But what does it mean to fear God? One of the ways to describe it is to 
say that we become in complete awe of our heavenly Father. We respect and revere who God 
is and his authority over all of creation. 
As we embrace God's authority over us, we also experience freedom. How can this be? 
It is precisely because of Christ's power rising more into our everyday lives, that we are free. 
We embrace Christ in us and God's authority over us, and we experience the freedom that 
God so graciously gives us. Free from the past, free from the law, free to experience all that 
God has for us, free to make a difference in the world. 
This leads us to reflection:
Prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in 
the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the 
world.
 —1 Peter 1:13
Prepare your mind for action and exercise self-control … think about those words for 
a moment! What would happen in your life if you really applied those words to your life? 
Because of your freedom in Christ, you are not only free, but also full of the power of the 
Holy Spirit. Look at the verbs in this verse: prepare, exercise, hope, come, revealed. As you 
fix your mind on the gracious salvation of Jesus Christ you will be empowered to go out and 
do the work God has for you.
And this leads us directly to redemption:Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message pro-
claimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for 
their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and 
Christ the Morning Star [Jesus] shines in your hearts.
 —2 Peter 1:19
This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible because it is filled with potential for 
both this world and the world to come. We pay attention to the Word of God because it tells 
us how to achieve our ultimate goal. We live in a darkened world. When we pay attention to 
the Word of God it provides light in a world that desperately needs it. The sun scatters the 
darkness. 
As Christ the Morning Star rises in our hearts, he scatters the darkness revealing 
what needs to be corrected in our lives. In addition, he imparts his life and empowers us to 
overcome wrongful desires and pursue his goodness. The Morning Star symbolizes hope 
and guidance. The morning star is the brightest star in the sky at dawn. I like to think that 
as Christ, the Morning Star, rises in our hearts, he brings healing to our inner person, 
strengthening us, enlightening us, showing us where we need to conform more with his 
will, and showing us just what it is he wants us to do. Such revelations bring joy and peace 
to us as we bring our lives in conformance with his will. The Son rises in our hearts and 
continues to empower us to not only grow in our relationship with God but to accomplish 
his will.
This brings us full circle to relationship where we in-
crease our love for God and desire to have him rise in our lives 
like the sun, fully powerful and fully effective.
It is important that our hope rests on the gift of grace 
that is brought to us by the revelation of Christ. He will illu-
mine things for us both in this world and the world to come as 
we pay attention to the Son Power at work in us.

I guess that verses 4:16-18.  Because I believe what is important in the God's eyes.  We usually observe what is seen.  But, God sees what is unseen.  What is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  We should not give up because our inner person is being renewed day by day.

No wonder she stopped coming because she started to attend another church.  And it so happened that she decided to attend a church where my collegue and bestfriend is at. 

But as always she was expressionless when she saw me.  She served the coffee and excused herself.  When she went out,  I immediatly followed her with my eyes through the window.  I know my collegue was puzzled by my action but I continued to watch her.  She met with a guy outside talked a little bit then she bid him goodbye. Maybe its her brother,  I can see some similar features in both of them. 

'she's Kzy?', I asked Ken

'yeah,  you heard it,  why? are you suddenly feeling a liitle bit something for her? '

'she is the one im talking about'

'who? '

'the one that I've talked to you about,  the statue lady'

'really? but she's not like that though,  do you think I was able to invite her if she acts like what you said?, yeah,  she is not so bubbly but.... but she came'.

She entered the kitchen again so we stopped talking . Ken opened up a conversation to avoid the awkwardness but I was still in shock and a little bit hurt.  What is with me or with my church that pushed her to attend another church.  It's not like this is the first time that a new member stopped coming.  But maybe its just different because I was actually attracted to her  unique cold aura and I just wished that I had a another conversation with her,  I wished  I asked her again until she opened up.  I dont know what Ken said to her but I'm impressed whatever he said,  he made a crack in her statue image. 


The somewhat conversation we are having was interrupted when some of the new members arrived and they started to pour their cup of coffee. It was naturally cold at that time so I guess they really need their coffee.  After hours of getting to know each other and continous sipping of coffee it was finally closed with a service. 

We had our dinner a little bit late but was still grateful because a canteen was still open to cater us for our dinner.  I can't help but glance at her because I really want to know what she is thinking about.  I was having this fantasy that maybe I could read her mind if I could just have a seconds to stare at her eyes. Ken may had somewhat noticed me so he elbowed me that actually helped me go with the reality. 


It was around 10 pm but I could not sleep yet because i have to arrange some activity for our youth service tomorrow in the evening.  I went out to have some coffee again just to wake me up, even if I'm not really a coffee person.  And she was there in the kitchen, having her cup of coffee.  She was tightly holding her cup and maybe she feels cold so she likes the warmth of the coffee.  She glanced at my direction because the door gave out a sound that announced my presence.  After that she sipped another and I could finally notice that she was reading something when I went near the kettle to pour a cup of coffee.  I really feel suffocated in this situation.  I don't know how to overcome this situation.  So I built up my courage to talk to her but she was more courages

'Hi, my name is Kzy, I'm I was not able to introduce myself to you a while ago',she said in  a slightly warm tone. 

She was sorry for not being able to introduce herself but I wish that's not the thing that she was sorry about. 

'Hi, Kzy, my name is Samuel, I'm Ken's collegue and bestfriend'. I said in my most matured tone. 

'Samuel,so are you like an offering also? '

'excuse me? '

'Samuel, the character from the bible, didn't her mother offered him', she said like she was challeging. 

'ah Samuel'

With that ,I was kind of trying to show off so I told her the whole story of Samuel and I even brought out the book, chapter and verses relating to the story of Samuel.  I was happy because she was listening and was agreeing by nodding her head.  I thought that this could be a way to know her more and to build a conversation but... 

'So your name has really no connection with the the bible character Samuel, you are just another Samuel.' She said with a question mark in her face. 

I didn't bother to answer because i can't say more about it.  I was being challeged.  Then just like in any other movie, she stood up to answer her call before I changed my mind to open my mouth to dare her for a challege also. 

'Hello, David? David? '

Chapter 5
The sweet taste of hypocrisy
 
Texas was a fine place to eliminate morons from the human experience. But first, a final test to see if he was correct about his powers. 
Nom was driving a stolen car. He needed to get off the road and get some sleep, before he was forced to test his powers against the might of the Texas Highway Patrol. He saw the glowing sign of the Grand Hyatt ahead. It was next to a municipal airport. 
How perfect. He thought. I'll dump the stolen car in the long-term parking lot, get a rental, and then check in for some sleep. Who knows? Perhaps I will find an ideal lab rat along the way.
Nom pulled into the parking lot and rented a luggage carrousel. Loading his gear, he left the lot ticket in the stolen car, and walked into the airport. Conveniently, a trash can by the door accepted the keys to Tripp's father's car. 
Thanks to the Patriot Act, Nom knew that he wouldn't have a choice but to register the rental in his own name—a convincing fake ID would take too much time. The woman at the counter for Enterprise Rental quickly had him on the road in a late model Ford Fusion. Since Nom was from another state, it was easy to claim he had just flown in for the week. Why, if the feds checked out his little fib, they would see that he did have cousins in the area. The flight bit could be seen as an oversight by an airport worker.

 

Nom knew he would need to do a number of experiments to get even a basic idea as to the scope of his powers. He could kill, but could he simply maim? Could he reverse one of his wishes, or alter it? Was there a range limit to his gift? His efforts to study that last one with Tripp had not exactly been precise. Could he eliminate multiple people at one time, or could he only effect one? Was there a limit on how gruesome a death he could inflict, or on how slow of a death?
The irony was that the power of death made Nom feel alive for the first time in years. Probably since around the time that he had lost his faith and become an atheist. The old saying, ignorance is bliss, is only true if you are ignorant of your ignorance. 
Nom had once been ignorant of the fact that there was no god. In his upbringing, Nom had been taught that the King James version of the Bible, and it alone, was the answer. Whether it be the pocket copy he carried, or the study Bible on his night stand, that book was literally the user manual to the universe, written by the coder who had engineered everything, and who was actively in control to that very moment. 
Any answer he needed was simply a Strong's Concordance search, or a browse through the Spurgeon or Scofield Commentary away. What need was there to know anything, or even think for himself, when it was all just a few pages away?
Christianity was easy: simply blindly believe. Reject the information reality fed you, and obey regardless of the consequences. After all, the afterlife was the real life. Atheism was hard, the consequences were real, and the answers had to be won rather than simply given. Faith was easy, just be a good little robot, and do what the bronze age myth told you to do. Knowledge and reality had to be studied and interpreted through reason. It was back breaking never ending work. 
Nom put in a reasonable start and effort at being a good atheist. He obsessively self-educated himself. After getting two undergrad degrees, a masters, and studying for a second one, he admitted to himself that he was miserable. 
What was the point? What could he possibly accomplish, regardless of his credentials? Nom's great dream was to start a national movement to finally crush religion through its greatest weakness, children. Nom wanted a law, one that made it so that no child could ever be brain washed into a cult as he had been. True freedom was not freedom of religion, but freedom from religion. All children would be legally entitled to a public, secular education, regardless of their parents' wishes. No child would even be exposed to religion until they were an adult and could legally consent. In Nom's mind, religious educators were worse than pedophiles. They did not only defiled the bodies of children, but they destroyed young growing minds.
It was a task that Nom threw himself into. For a while it seemed that the American people were ready to potentially embrace a change of this magnitude. The Affordable Care Act was passed, the first black President of the United States was elected, and for the first time in US history almost a quarter of the population identified as non-religious. In those moments, it actually looked as if the modern political dark ages of the US, started by Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, were at an end. Nom took a minor civil service job to support himself while he completed his education. He would need government experience before he could found the non-for profit he dreamed of using to spearhead his vision.
Then the walls came tumbling down. For years the most ill-educated and moronic fools that the GOP could muster rallied the forces of the TEA Party. Behind the scenes, using their demented senior citizen activists, they managed to take over most of the municipal level governments in the US and use that power base to take over state level and national governments. 
Their average budget proposal called for a slash to social welfare programs for the neediest of Americans. Why should the US Government feed the people it impoverished? Mass incarceration, slashed regulation, gutted unions, an unlivable minimum wage—if this caused poverty who cared? After all, that same money could be spent on a wall. One that would remove twelve percent of the economy by deporting innocent people. Even better, it could be spent on new military toys, like aircraft carriers. The US already spent more than all of its allies and enemies combined, what was a bit more waste? Then they could take the rest, and give subsidies to corporate profits through tax cuts. 
Funnily enough, many of the Republican voters were themselves beneficiaries of the very programs they elected Republicans to eliminate. When newly elected Republicans tried to do exactly that, suddenly, their voters were in the media spotlight protesting. 
If the American populace could manage to vote in the most regressive regime since Herbert Hoover, what hope did Nom have of achieving his wish in even ten lifetimes? He could have gone to his grave a happy man knowing he had simply started the ball rolling on protecting minors from religion, but to work already knowing that the bet was a loser? Who could do that?
One of the turning points in his evangelical faith had been when he had discovered that having the faith of a mustard seed did not mean that he could literally levitate mountains. Most modern Christians would claim that Bible verses were metaphorical, but Nom had been raised to literally interpret the Bible. It was a soul crushing revelation that God was not a genie, with the Bible as his lamp. The election of 2016 crushed his faith in saving mankind just as thoroughly.
In many ways Nom had been slowly coming to the conclusion that the only way to save humanity was to cleanse it. The world was overpopulated, polluted, and corrupt. Morons bred like rabbits. The natural forces that had restrained the human population since it began had been curbed thanks to modern technology. In the US, Nom's native country, a cult had long existed that worshiped the common man. That same cult cursed learning and intelligence. The folk wisdom of a plumber about economics was somehow more valuable than someone with an actual degree in the subject.
What the US needed was an apocalypse. Nom was sure if the rest of the Western World would benefit from the same. The same trends that had destroyed the US were now appearing in Europe. The UK had voted to succeed from the EU, racist and anti-immigrant parties were on the rise in central Europe in a wave not seen since the 1930's, and regressive conservative parties were winning election after election. It was building to the same crescendo America had seen only a few short years before.
The woods around Nom's childhood home in northern Michigan were occasionally set on fire by the DNR. The native bird, Kirtland warblers, were only capable of breeding in the aftermath. Not that they needed ash and desolation; they needed a specific species of pine tree. Those trees were short-lived, and had a problem: their pine cones had a coating that had to be burned off before they released their seeds. No fire, no trees. No trees, no birds. 
Nom was convinced that the same must be true for humanity. He was not sure if he needed to burn down the whole forest, or just a grove, but humanity needed to lose a lot of stupid people so that its best and brightest could flourish without all the dead wood. 
Taking his rental car to the Grand Hyatt Nom checked in and decided to start experimenting…

Death, a Biography, is a fictional horror novel. It is crass, violent, profane, and not meant for the light hearted reader. Imagine living in a world surrounded by fools. For years your frustration grows, and no matter what you try to do you cannot free yourself from the preverbal ideocracy. Nom DePlume is just such a man, only one day he is granted the dearest wish of his heart. Nom, a grad student working as a truck driver is: intelligent, well educated, and the sort of person who always can find a reason to have a chip on his shoulder. One day while driving in Texas he finds that he has the ability to wish death on those he hates. Being scientifically minded, Nom proceeds to experiment searching out the scopes of his new found powers. He begins in Texas, a state he despises. As he moves on from each experiment, he picks his prey to match some facet of modern western life that he hates. Each receive a fate customized to match what Nom feels they did wrong. Nom then travels home to Michigan after initially defining his new role in life. In Michigan he uses his powers to settle a few old scores and family business. A run-in with an old friend convinces him that he is being selfish for not using his god like powers to better mold humanity. The end of the book sees him taking on the leader of the free world. Nom now personifying Death, learns that he has a true foe, Life.Nom will return.

[Dearest Asha,

I already got our passports but the plane is always full. I tried to bribe a ticket officer but he said he too wanted to leave the country but all outside travels are fully booked. He even mentioned that the government might temporarily stop the flights due to this country's situation. I'm afraid we can't come soon. 

By the way, Uncle Harry already understands that we are hiding something from them. I wish to tell them and I know he would probably have a solution for you but I think it is not yet the right time. I'm asking the people here about the possibility of moving the orphans somewhere but as of the moment, I couldn't find a good place for them. Also, no one would believe me if I tell them these orphans will be killed by their own sponsor if you won't show your face after two years.

If you see fit to tell them about this, I will follow your wishes. I miss you. I really miss you.

Labani and Asha went to church that Sunday morning before they went to Tarla's restaurant. This time the pastor's sermon was all about 'Anxieties.' The pastor started his sermon from the reading of the Bible.

"According to Philippians chapter six verses four to seven, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

If any of your here who couldn't sleep and worries filled your mind, ask God for his peace that transcends all understanding to guard you against getting depression or sleeplessness. As also said in Matthew chapter six verse thirty-four, so don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today.

"Give all your worries to God and trust him to help you …"

The pastor continued the sermon but Asha couldn't understand a thing the pastor said. Somehow, her Bangla bible was on her lap as she read the passage of scripture mentioned. Her eyes were fixated on the words 'do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.' Lately, her heart wavered that Ronjon could get a ticket after reading his letter. She even thought of disobeying her aunt and fly back to the country to be with her husband.

She prayed whisper-like. "God, help me, help Ronjon to get their tickets. Keep them safe always. Please, God, send them here soon," then as she opened her eyes, the words 'with thanksgiving' caught her attention and hurriedly closed her eyes again."Sorry, I forgot to thank you. Thank you for your help, God." 

Asha was not sure if she prayed the right words. However, she only sighed and said to herself, "I believe God can understand what I'm trying to tell him." She looked up the ceiling and imagined that God was there looking at her. 'Are you going to answer my prayer, God?' Then her eyes grew big and covered her mouth. 'What am I doing? How could I tell God that way?' She shut her eyes the third time and prayed earnestly. 'Sorry, God. I believe you'll answer me.'

They left the church and went to Tarla's Indian restaurant, Royal Bengal House. They went into the diner. Labani talked to a blond haired lady for a while and rubbed her forehead. She faced Asha and told her the situation. "Tarla didn't tell her staff that we're coming. Do you still want to continue?"

"Let's ask for Auntie Tarla, maybe she only forgot."

Labani asked the lady to tall Tarla that they had arrived. After the lady's sentence, her face grew heavier. "Asha, the girl here said that Tarla is away." Labani was losing her patience. "How rude. She told you to come and now she is away."

"We'll just wait, Auntie." Asha felt sorry for the inconvenience she gave her aunt. As she looked at the tables and food served to the guests, her eyes brightened, an idea came to her mind. "Auntie, let's go home first."

"Are you sure about that? She might think you've given up."

"I'll tell you my idea outside," Asha said. The woman entertaining them heard her words, and unknown to them, she could understand Bangla. She was intrigued by what kind of idea this young girl said.

As they stepped outside, "Auntie, teach me nice plating at home then I'll come back bringing my food for Auntie Tarla to taste."

"Well, I'm delighted to hear that. I thought you wouldn't ask me for help."

"I'm just shy to ask you." Asha scratched her head as she smiled innocently at her relative.

Labani flicked Asha's forehead with her finger. "Shy? Or it is just your pride telling you not to ask me. Humph." Labani laid her hands on her hips with one of her eyebrows moved up.

"Hahaha, I think both, Auntie." Asha laughed aloud as if all her troubles was blown away.

"Yeah, you really have mine and your father's gene."

Asha's forehead furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"

"Don't you know, girl, that our family has this crispy golden brown fried pride to ask for help?"

"Hahaha, I don't know but I can relate." The two laughed heartily as they strode away from the store.

Unexpectedly, Tarla came out of the door and saw the two. "Lily, what do you think of that petite girl?" She spoke to the woman who answered their queries.

"She's interesting. I like her patience and perseverance. She didn't give up that easily. I'm really intrigued about her idea too."

"Glad to hear that. Tell your brother Gael that we've met the girl he mentioned. I want him to be here when they come back with the surprise."

Asha is now on the brink of helplessness and despair. Would she let despair to chase her for the rest of her life? Thus, she faces the man who wanted her dead and to stand as a woman in the world of chefs. 

She will create her own dishes and make his father's recipes alive again. Her adventures lead to clues of the real killer of his father and get entangles with love. 

Somehow, when she is face to face with the murderer, will she forgive or not? The Recipe of Love will show her the right decision to make.

This is a story of a girl in her journey to become a lady chef while in life-threatening situations and falls in love. So, don't expect a fast pace cooking battles. It is Asha's journey.

The setting of the story is India before its Independence in 1947. The exact timeline is 1945. However, in the first part of the story, I didn't use during the British occupation since the places/villages I mentioned do not exist in the present country. I used Bangla words since the culture is more on present Bangladesh. 

This is absolutely a fiction story.

If you have questions about the culture, please ask me in the comment and I'll try to explain things to you. I can't write the culture within the story for that will bore you to death. Most are written in the Author's Thoughts.

Hope had awoken hours later, but she wasn't where she last remembered. She jolted awake with a gasp, and overwhelming fear. The only thing she remembered was a blurry scene of people preaching bible verses, while they fought off the demons she was facing. 

Scuffling was heard beside her, and she was instantly on guard. A calming feminine voice was heard beside her, "hey, shhhh, take it easy. You're alright. You're safe. Nothing evil can step on holy ground." Hope looked to the female. She looked familiar. She glanced around, at her surroundings. She seemed to be in an office. The office had crossed and pictures of biblical references. If she had to guess, she'd say she was in a church. She felt at ease, knowing she was in the Lord's house. She glanced back at the woman, from before, "who are you and what happened?" Everything was foggy for the young girl. The woman smiled gently, "My name is Jupiter. My group and I were walking to the arts and crafts store we ran into you at. We had to get supplies for the elderly, but we just so happened to hear you, in distress and took action. I'm glad we came in, or you would've been a goner." She stated bluntly. '9h that's right. I remember the demons and..' she then let her hand shoot up to her neck, in an anxious manner. 

When her hand reached where her wound was located, she felt bandages and soreness. She had a small headache. She looked to Jupiter, "was anyone harmed?" Jupiter shook her head with a small laugh, "no not majorly. Just a few minor scratches and bruises. Nothing serious dear." 

Hope was more than happy to hear no one was badly injured, "thank the heavens..I would feel bad for others to get hurt, because of me." Jupiter felt her heart wince in pain, "don't feel bad dear. Christians are there for one another. It was our choice to help and that's what we did. What's your name hun?" Jupiter wanted to change the subject, not wanting the girl to guilt trip herself. 

Hope pulled herself out of her guilt, "it's Hope. Hope Peterson, nice to meet you ma'am. Thank you for saving me. I can only imagine where'd I'd be at now if you and your group hadn't saved me." She thought for a moment then remember her father. She grew panicked again, "oh no. I must get back to my father!-" Jupiter cut Hope off, "shhh it's alright, he's here with us. We all ran into each other on our way back to the church. He was out and about looking for you and when he saw us caring you to safety we allowed him to join us. It should be supper soon. You and your father will be joining us. It's too late to go out at night. It's far to dangerous." 

Hope raised a brow. How late could it possibly be? She glanced to a working clock and it read '12:35 am'. She sighed. She must've been out for hours. She gave a small nod. She knew not to argue with adults. It's how she was raised, "yes ma'am. Thank you." Jupiter adored this girl already. 

She was very polite and sweet to say the least, "well I'll be heading out. I've got you a change of clothes, beside your backpack. You can wash up, in the restroom, right there." Jupiter pointed to a door to the right where a door was slightly ajar, and the light was on. 

Hope gave a small smile and nod, "yes ma'am thank you." With that said, Jupiter got up, and walked out, giving Hope her privacy. Hope had waited for the door to close, then she stood up, and went to wash up, grabbing her new clothes in the process. 

It took Hope a few minutes to clean up and get dressed. She ventured out of the room following the sounds of chitchat and laughter.
