The sounds of metal hitting metal, keys jingling, and wood and metal falling on and being dragged on the floor woke Nasike up. The peace broken, she incredulously stared at the terrible terrorist ahead of her. 
'What are we, terrible three? Must have skipped a stage or something', Nasike quipped after being woken by the incessant noise. After the spectacle at her home, she decided to cut her losses and speak her mind. In any case, what could be the worst that could happen? Well, except a hurtful response that by now did not hurt as much; especially coming from the person who had antagonized her for no good reason.
'No, just 17 and alive, wake up already unless you want to be a failure', Khalayi responded banging the door and heading out. Her victim had gained some courage; it didn't mean she would let her off if the opportunity arose. She ensured Nasike could not avoid her at any costs. The pranks ceased. It was no fun playing with someone who was guarded against her anyway. 
The morning run rejuvenated her, it was her time to think through and may be, just may be find another gem to play; a dismissive introvert with enough courage to retaliate and enough patience to not snap easily. The breakdown is always epic. She smiled, finishing up her tenth lap with warm ups. Her target rather targets were set once she walked past a wall sheltered by brambles. Oh well, they do not meet her criteria but they would do. She silently walked around the bramble to a more visible part of the wall decorated by a couple on a not so welcoming rendezvous. 
'That is lots of saliva going about. Not good looking, old, 15 year age gap, minor, indecent assault, if already at 2nd base-defilement, irresponsible adult, we are looking at crashed career and minimum 15 years in prison or life if you land in a Catherine Mackinnon adhering judge. We already know your interest mwalimu (teacher)', Khalayi rambled as she casually leaned on the wall crossing her arms over her chest.

Or maybe it was the belief that adults ought to apply more sound reason when making decisions that would involve any person below the age of 18.
'You can choose to stay or come with me Christy but I am not letting either of you off. Especially you, Sir', she stated as she strode past the tongue tied duo. After strolling for a while, she turned, smiled and shouted
'Christy, I can't carry the flask of water from the kitchen, my arms are tired. You know my room'. 
She strode away leaving the duo second guessing her intention. Christy snapped out of her shock and begun running after her.

Dull, boring, routine do-gooder. 
'No, am not talking dirty with you now because am in the office and i look innocent and everyone thinks am a good person'

His eyes flashed.
He was truly interested in knowing where he stood among the younger generation geniuses. Of course, he held no competitive feelings, it was just pure curiosity!
Garvin narrowed his eyes and replied in a solemn tone yet dissatisfied tone, "Any old fart would want you to be their disciple. In terms of Soul Forging Cultivation, you alone can wipe the floor with these so-called geniuses."
Davis half-believing glanced at Garvin's eyes. He couldn't detect any change of expression on his face either.
'His evaluation of me must be appropriate...' Davis thought and was quite satisfied.
Then, he suddenly remembered something, "What about in terms of Body Tempering Cultivation and Essence Gathering Cultivation? How do I compare?"
Garvin lifted up his chin and thought for a moment, he then answered, "Though your Body Tempering Cultivation is on par with most geniuses, your Essence Gathering Cultivation is lagging way behind..."
Davis nodded his head calmly. To this, he wasn't surprised. He was already 15 years old and was nearing 16.
Even though it meant there were sixteen-year-old Body Transformation Stage Cultivators, Davis wasn't fazed at all because he knew that humans were more compatible with Essence Gathering Cultivation.
'But to think there was strong Body Tempering Cultivators at my age... What kind of monsters are they?' Davis thought.
After all, he had experienced a previous life and was quite used to pain, and as a result, could train Body Tempering Cultivation with a forbearing will.
'Do the major powers have a secret method to cultivate the body at such a young age?' Davis developed some kind of strange thoughts in his head.

Old Man Garvin grinned, "For example, you."
"Your age is merely 15, and generally speaking, that is when children your age start cultivating their soul as they completed their breakthrough into the Revolving Core Stage."
"When even they are considered prodigies, much less is needed to be said about you."
"Huh? Then what about geniuses? Aren't they both the same thing then?" Davis confusedly asked.

Once the Sect Master of the Mystic Heaven's sect branch arrived everyone had a good meal, it was called a banquet afterall. Some of the smaller families had never had such exquisite food and wine before and was trying their best not to stuff their faces with food. Otherwise how embarassing would that be! 
Though the food was quite an important aspect of this banquet, all the participants were looking forward to the spars that were about to come up. For some this could be a moment that changed their lives! Although only people under twenty would be allowed to become disciples of the Mystic Heaven's sect, the older ones might still get some benefits from another sect or gain some spiritual pills to help aid their cultivation. 
For Murong Xue Meng, it meant not only more cultivation resources to help her breakthrough faster but also as a layer of protection against her step-mother and half sisters! 
For this competition she had to get in the top 3!

Very soon the Sect Master announced the start of the competition! All the participants were awarded a wooden token from an elder. Each token had a number imprinted on it and all of the participants could challenge another person with a token. When the elder came to the Murong Family he gave out two tokens, one for Murong Qing Yue and one for Murong Qing Yang. He obviously didn't think that Murong Xue Meng came to participate, afterall, not only was she an illegitimate daughter but also only 10 years old. How strong could a 10 year old possibly be?
Murong Xue Meng, "Excuse me, uhm, elder could I also get a token please?"
"Hmm? Are you sure? This is a competition you know? You could get injured."
"Yes, I know what I am getting into!"
"If you know that's good, here's a token."

If Murong Xue meng didn't draw attention to herself before she certainly has now. A 10 year old participating in a competition where the average age was around 15 -17 years old. Even her older half sisters were on the lower end of the age spectrum let alone her. It just seemed more a like a massive joke that the Murong family was letting her participate. 
Murong Xue Meng stared at her wooden token, on it was the number "394". This is the token that people participating in the banquet would get, it determined who you would be up against. If there were 1000 people participating it would be token holder 1 against token holder 999, 2 against 998 and so on. Soon Murong Xue Meng heard her number.
"Number 394"
"Number 736"
Once Murong Xue Meng got up onto the platform she saw that her opponent was a very buff looking man. He looked like he could crush her with just a finger of his. 
"First test your bone age." the elder who was hovering near the platform said. 
"Number 394 is..... 10 years old!"
The drew many gasps from the crowd, what was a 10 year old doing here? Wasn't that just asking for a beating? Did the Murong Family go insane or something?
"Number 736 is... 20 years old!"
There was a 10 year age gap between the participants on this platform, the biggest there had ever been in Mystic Heaven's sect's Banquet history. 
"Next is cultivation level!"
"Number 394 is peak first layer harmonisation realm!"
"What! Peak harmonisation realm at 10 years old! At her age I was still playing with mud!"
"It's almost comparable to Young master Nangong!"
"What do you mean? Young master Nangong was already 3rd layer harmonisation realm at 10 years old, how could they be compared!"

Murong Xue Meng shook her head,  if they knew that instead of peak first layer harmonisation realm she was instead peak fifth layer they might spit out blood and faint.

"You may start!" The elder announced. 

"I'm sorry miss, but I won't be going easy just because you're a kid! If you get injured don't blame this older brother!"
"You won't be able to injure me."
The buff man obviously didn't believe her and punched straight towards her. Even though he was rather large, his movements weren't very slow, many people wouldn't be able to dodge this move of his. With his large body and higher cultivation realm many people throught that Murong Xue Meng was already screwed. 
Who knew when his punch was just about to touch her it suddenly stopped and one could only feel the wind that it left behind. 
Upon a closer look at the two, they could see that this 10 year old girl had condensed a blade of yuan qi against his neck!
She then released her blade from his neck and saluted him. She then quickly left the stage with the bearing of a master. 
Only then did the elder quickly announce the winner. 
"Number 394 is the winner!"
Many sects were discussing this young girl who had beaten someone ten years older than her with a higher cultivation, in only one move!
Even the Sect Master of the Mystic Heaven's sect was a bit interested. However, that interest was only superficial, afterall it only happened once and could be counted as a fluke. 
However, everyone's expression soon started to change. For Murong Xue Meng's last 5 matches, she only used one move! The condensed yuan qi blade! 
Her half sisters' expressions grew increasingly ugly with each match that Murong Xue Meng won. Even her step-mother, who was a 'hollywood award winning actress' couldn't help but let out a slightly ugly expression as well. 

Nangong Xue Hai looked at her with an intrigued expression, his older brother who was 20 this year was supposed to marry Murong Qing Yue and he himself was betrothed to Murong Qing Yang. But this Murong Xue Meng was far more interesting to him than those two. 

As she kept on winning the matches one by one with only one move, her half sisters' expressions went from ugly to pure hatred. They had long since lost their matches, Murong Qing Yue was eliminated in her 6th match and Murong Qing Yang was eliminated in her 7th match. But this little trash and shame of their Murong Family actually made it to the 11th match without a single defeat! What cheats did this b*tch use?

Without any obstruction whatsoever, Murong Xue Meng entered the top 10 by only using one move. One could enter the Mystic Heaven's sect as long as they are in the top 50, however, the last 40 will be outer disciples, the top 10 will become inner disciples. Murong Qing Yang and Murong Qing Yue barely managed to get into the top 50, but this meant that they were still qualified as outer discples. 
However, to Murong Xue Meng, don't even say the top ten, even second place isn't good enough for her, she had to get first place. Only then could she get some backing from the Mystic Heaven's sect and hopefully be able to improve quickly under the pressure of competition and through resources. 
Soon her number was called out again. 
"Number 394"

Tatsuo was now standing in his residence as he looked out the window at the bustling city below as he thought it was about time to implement the next steps to become a contending power on the world stage.

'This plane is a lower ranking one but this Planet itself is perfect to become the main base of the Night empire. It's the overall size and climate are perfect to accommodate all citizens While Planes 20 and 19 will just become military outposts and other miscellaneous things. However, these are things for the future.'

Tatsuo sat down on the window's edge and fell deep into thought.

'The Heaven Duo Empire was founded by Three upper sect clans The Clear Sky Clan, Seven Treasure Gile Pragonda Clan, and The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. With the Empire headed by the Xue Clan acting as the Emperors there resides many small kingdoms that act as independent entities yet still must pay tribute to the Empire. While the Star Luo Empire has one Clan that reigned Supreme, The Evil-Eyes Clan however they too have many small kingdoms that must pay tribute to the Empire. While my Night Empire will follow a format similar to modern day earth if it can still be considered Modern day by my standards. My Empire will act with me as the Head of State while the subsidiary Kingdoms will act as provinces or Territories that have some autonomy yet ultimately fall under my control similar to England, The United States or Canada.'

Tatsuo pulled out a notebook to write down his Ideas as they flowed through his head.

'It will still follow the same principle of Myself with absolute power, The Council that oversees the day to day operations and the Judicial branch that keeps the council in check. However, I will allocate Noble titles to the Counsel and Judicial branches that will further outline their responsibilities and standing within the nation. There will be laws in place to protect the Nobles as well the commoners that do not have titles, on earth, there is a saying that all men are created equal yet in these worlds with Great Power such a thing does not exist so proper measures must be taken.'

Tatsuo phoned a Maid to prepare him a cup of tea and some light refreshments as he continued to plan out his Empire.

'The Counsel will be Headed by a Grand Duke that reports directly to me all from my approval on matters. While it will be comprised of 20 Arch Dukes that will head a specific department with the necessary officials under them. The Judicial Branch will be Headed by 1 Grand Duke and have 9 Arch Dukes that review and interpret all matters passed by the Council to make sure they do not infringe on any laws or human rights. Martial Rank will not decide the appointment of these positions.'

The Maid entered the Room bowed to the Emperor who was deep in thought before placing the refreshments on a small table by the window and taking her leave.

'The Military will also follow the same principle as in Plane 20 with 13 Generals who will hold a title equivalent to Grand Duke however it will be called God's Pillar as they will be the support that enforces my will. Each Pillar must be a Titled Douluo of the 97th Rank or above by plane 18 standards this will be subject to change as we move to higher planes. At the moment the Spirit Hall has at least 17 known Titled Douluo with 2 above the 97th Rank while the other powers of the Star Luo and Heaven Duo Empire have about 15 at most combined with none above the 97th rank.'

Tatsuo grabbed his crystal teacup and took a sip of the Immortal Herb tea brewed within just this cup would make many Titled Douluo topple mountains to acquire its contents.

'Each Rank in this world is a gap someone of lower Rank could never overcome with sheer spirit and willpower alone. Within Titled Douluo this is further emphasized as the sublevels of the rank are sometimes as wide as the Gap between a Spirit Ancestor and a Spirit Saint.  From Rank 91 to 94 these Titled Douluo are indeed powerful enough to wipe entire cities off the map, changing the landscape to the point maps need to be redrawn however they still are only considered Average to those above. Ranks 95 to 98 are the most difficult ranks to overcome some see these as tougher bottlenecks than acquiring an entirely new Spirit Ring and this is around where a majority of Titled Douluo in the world are currently I will call this a Hyper Douluo. This is where a titled Douluo starts to feel a cognitive change in his or her spiritual power as he approaches the threshold of Divine Power. While Ranks 99-100 you are seeing the path of divinity and molding yourself into a god of a specific specialty I will call this Limit Douluo. While from Rank 101 and on you are on the Path to becoming a true God capable of destroying the Laws of Physics and toppling the universe itself. I will call this the Divine Path.'

Tatsuo then thought about his two new additions Dugu Bo and Tang Hao.

'Dugu Bo from my memory of his Character from both the Light Novel and Manhua versions is a Ruthless man who only has a soft spot for his family. He is a cunning and calculative loner who likes to be detached from the secular world and keep to himself as he greatly enjoys being free. However despite this, he is a man of his word a quality I admire and respect, so I can take his pledge of allegiance to heart as he will not go back on that unless I do something unforgivable. Once he reaches Rank 97 he will be God's Poison Pillar eroding away the darkness from within.'
Tatsuo already finished cleaning the poison from Dugu Bo's family making the Young Old man extremely and eternally grateful.

'Tang Hao on the other hand is an extremely upright man that despises Injustice, now that the depression of losing his wife is gone and he has a renewed sense of life and he is once again in his prime years while retaining the power of a Rank 97 Titled Douluo he will be the Clear Sky Pillar of the Night. His hammer will rain down justice upon all of my foes. The other 11 Pillars are reserved for my comrades from Planes 19 and 20 that will be joining me shortly.'

Finishing up his new Imperial Decree Tatsuo called in Daisuke to have them all implemented and to also discuss the Team for the upcoming Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament where the Night Empire and Tai Tan no Seika will make it's debut to the world.

"Your Majesty, The seven selected for this year's Tournament have been decided and they have already been briefed and are packing for tomorrow's voyage to the Mainland. We have selected the most talented bunch from the Academy with Spirit Ranks ranging from the lowest Rank of 51 to the highest of 57. Their Spirit rings are all according to the Imperial Standard with 4 black and 1 Red, therefore they are Spirit King's of the highest strength and talent aging from 15 to 17."

Daisuke as always handled his task beautifully while Tatsuo listened on while reading their dossier.

"Do you know why the age of Spirit Rings are so important Daisuke?"

"Yes Sir, the age of Spirit Rings dictates the overall output of power upon using a spirit ability. The Douluo Continent has come up with a chart that displays the appropriate age a spirit Ring should be depending on the spirit masters Rank to avoid a state of soul rejection or Soul Shock which could result in death as Rings above that appropriate age contain to much power which a Spirit Cultivator may not be able to control. However, if you are able to absorb a Spirit Ring above the so-called appropriate age your power will be far beyond your equal ranking peers as the Spirit Ring has nurtured both your body and Spirit Power causing great boons."

"Correct, I choose the current standard because of that reason as with the techniques we have on Acaydia the age of the ring one can absorb is greatly increased. Not only that we have a way to train the Soul Power of a cultivator which the mainland has not yet found out about which allows our cultivators to avoid the Soul Shock of a 10,000-year-old Soul Ring. Also from this information, it would seem two of them have the rumored Blackening state."

Tatsuo looked at the dossier of his students with glee as it was time to disrupt the power dynamics of the known World.

Lucas is a good son born in a poor family, hard work was the only way to move forward. He graduated from High school, Worked his way through College and graduated with a major in Physics and Communication. Walking to his uber to head to the airport Truck-kun embraces him.

The only oddball would be Cecil, her youngest brother. She couldn't bear to ruin her little brother's enthusiasm for training, which resulted in the current situation where Cecil was the heir to the family's traditions.

"Is everything good with the company?"

"Keep working hard, honey."

"Mhm, okay mama."

 The little girl ran towards Mother Cecil and jumped onto her. The boy who was the twin brother of Luca, Gabriel, walked in rather sluggishly after yawning aloud passing by Matheus and Luca and sat down near the end of the table. After which, Matheus and Luca took their seats.

After which, a 1 meter tall almost 2 meter long white silvery dog, no, it was more like a wolf, came out of  the doghouse and sprinted towards Cecil. 

This silver wolf was none other than Silver. He was originally a wolf pup that Cecil saved during his days of training out in the wilderness with his father. 

After saving the wolf, it became attached to the young Cecil and started following him around throughout his training.

The light itself seemed to be rapidly expanding, trying to engulf the entire area.

"Cecil!!! Silver!!! COME BACK HERE!!!"

He looked back and saw his mother waving frantically to him from the entrance of his mansion. Looking back towards the light, it was rapidly approaching his house. 

He was somewhat stunned, but quickly regained his bearings. He started sprinting back towards his mother alongside Silver.

The white light engulfed both him and Silver. The last thing he saw was his mother and father as well as the rest of his family running towards him, and then everything went white.

She took the sword which was lying on the sofa and started swinging it,

Ever since then he started hating people, adults and the world, but he was and still is loved by his parents.

Due to certain circumstances he was forced to enroll in high school. He was the same age as other students, but high school was too easy and boring for him.

After being bored when he was about to drop out from school, he was yet again forced to do something. 'I want you to tutor a girl' the teacher said, he reluctantly agreed.

After tutoring that girl for months he fell in love with that girl but there was one problem, that girl was a gamer and had no interest in studying at all. 

Fast forward to months, they started dating. He began to change, he started accepting people, he experienced new emotions. 

Then one day his girlfriend recommended him to play a VR game with her, not wanting to be hated by the girl he loves, he agreed. 

What happens next? Read the novel.

There are few things I want to clear before you start reading, as I described in the synopsis, He hates this world and peoples, but he loves who loves him, he loves them and deeply cares for them.

The MC in this novel is not a typical hero, nor he is an anti-hero. He will do what he thinks is right, he only cares for himself and the people who love him.

Mc is an idiot in the game, he has no experience in the game whatsoever. He is a noob but he will use his intelligence to play the game.(So please don't complain in comments that mc is pathetic or he is an idiot)

The story will take place in both the real world and the game. It's like a slice of life but somewhat different. The story revolves around Mc, his girlfriend and people around them, but everything will be related to the game.

This can be spoiler but I suggest you read this, 

*Now let's talk about this novel, most people like Harem and some don't. You might be thinking that 'What is this idiot author doing by adding Harem in the novel even though MC already has a girlfriend', let me answer that question, I particularly don't like Harem, but it depends on the story plot.

There are certain novels, mangas, anime, which have Harem, but in the end only one girl wins or an open ending, I really hate when that happens, I really hate when any girl/Harem member cries because of that reason, so you don't have to worry about that in this novel because I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN ACCEPT HAREM OF THIS NOVEL.(So will the MC and his girlfriend) 

Now let's talk about me, I really like making stories and I always wanted to write one. My writing style maybe bit...well more than a bit rusty because I don't have writing experience but I will make sure that you can enjoy this novel

Satisfied with his little foray into the library, Aser quickly decided to check out the other areas before starting his cultivation for the day. Even if it was his first day in the Academy, he had no intention of falling behind. He also needed to figure out an efficient way to finish reading all the books in the library with Ashes! Briefly checking his System Panel, Aser quickly headed onwards to the large Arena building in the distance.

Remembering the notice he read earlier, Aser assumed that the Arena was where he could participate in the so called "Trials". While walking, he finally decided to read the Academy Guidelines book to increase his understanding of the Academy. Surprisingly, he very quickly found out that even though most of the trials were in the Arena, but the trials could be anywhere on campus, including during classes and even in the cafeteria and library. The Crystal Processor for the campus maintained and monitored the trials, and would release them periodically when certain conditions were met. Almost all the buildings in campus other than private areas were monitored to both prevent any unforeseen accidents as well as track conditions and progress for trials.

He also figured out that there were school wide ranking boards as well as age specific ranking boards. Realizing that although the Academy seemed harmonious, there was still a lot of competition for everyone, Aser gradually let go of his frustration from earlier. He thought that his desire to compete and prove himself was an anomaly, but it was more the fact that the Academy forbid any sort of public arguments or fights. As such, the harmonious atmosphere he witnessed was simply a facade and almost all of the students seemed to be scheming behind everyone to get further ahead. Most people would feel uncomfortable with the scheming and competition behind the scenes, but Aser actually felt invigorated. He didn't know why, but just the thought of being able to outwit his peers made his blood boil. On the other hand, he didn't actually have as much excitement when imagining duels or combat competitions, as he instinctively felt apprehensive about being close to others, spilling blood or exchanging moves. 

Walking up to the large Arena building, Aser saw kids standing in front of a large Crystal board. Assuming that it was the ranking and Trials board, he approached it to witness the top students of the current First Son's Academy.

It was evident right from the beginning that the two people ranked at the very top were exceptional among their peers, not to mention being from the City Lord's family! The students in the 2nd and 3rd ranking were further below them, and the gap grew bigger from the 4th ranking onwards. This continued until near the middle after the 50th ranking where each rank would differ by only a few points until finishing at the 100th rank. 

Looking at all the names there and understanding that only 2nd Year students are able to get on to the Top 100, Aser readily decided that his goal for his 1st Year would be to get in the Top 50! He was sure that there were plenty of 1st Year students that were able to rank within the Top 100, just as he was sure that being in the Top 50 as a 1st Year would be almost impossible. The current rankings didn't have a 2nd Year until the 85th rank!

Moving past the ranking board, Aser saw smaller crystals around the entrance of the arena, presumably the crystals for viewing and registering trials. According to the Academy Guidelines, after registering for a trial, you would have to go to the building where the trial would be conducted. Most of them were in the Arena, but Aser didn't want to compete there at the moment. He wanted to take part in the trials that would take place in the library, and he knew for sure that there were quite a few of those as well! 

Locating an empty crystal, Aser went up and asked Ashes to connect to the Crystal Terminal. Approving the request for connection, Aser saw a list open up in his mind similar to his System Panel. Looking at all the Trials, such as "Win 5 Combat Matches in a row", or "Collect information regarding the Conquer Era", Aser knew that these trials were made to suit every kind of Cultivator.

The large list of trials available to him both excited Aser but also made him realize that finishing any of them was not an easy task. Each trial had its own requirements, and there were multiple different kinds to test different areas. Asking Ashes to save all the trial information as well as create a new Trial Module to keep track of his progress, Aser decided to skip exploring further and head back to the Library so that he could start cultivating and set up a plan to efficiently spend his time in the Academy for the next month.

Beasts had unlocked their System during the Ancient Era, and were once the rulers of the world. A catastrophe had caused them all to go into slumber, ushering in the Venture era where humanity started leaving their settlements to explore. As civilization progressed and tensions rose, humanity fought with themselves for the large swathes of territory. Near the end of the Conquer era, the beasts started awakening from their slumber and pushed humanity to the brink of destruction. Through efforts from humanity's top leaders, the system was unlocked for man, and thus began the era of Enlightenment. 

The goal of everyone in this era is to get enlightened, to seek Ascension. Now every child, every family, every influence seek to be an Ascended like the heroes of their world. 

Aser, an Unknown child raised in an orphanage in the Southern Seas. Like others, on his 7th birthday, the system had awakened in his mind, but he realizes he's special. As he explores the mysteries of the System, our protagonist strives to excel, to prove his worth in the world of Gigantis, to find his parents and to figure out the path to Ascension.
