It all started when I was on the school's day off, I bought the latest Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel IV, I was so excited because I was waiting for this game to come out over a year ago, I was going to have a good day playing in my room but no, I had to have morons come and spoil it all, but not just any morons, internationally wanted terrorists, and how I know all this, well my older sister is an investigator in the Police Terrorist Affairs and that one day as it was my job to clean the house I saw the case file that was lying around on the living room table so like all the good little brothers I am I looked inside and memorized all the elements of the case in my little head.

I immediately took a picture of the suspects and contacted my sister trying not to lose sight of them all while remaining discreet, in my family everyone has to undergo military training at a very young age thanks to this today, I am one of the most famous high school detective in Japan with several investigations to my credit all over the world. 

I managed to guide the intervention team to intercept them, when they were arrested I don't know why but it was too easy one of them started smiling at that moment I had a bad feeling I immediately pushed my sister who handcuffed the group leader then BOOOM 

This bastard has a bomb inside him as for me I found myself half-burned on a part of my body losing my blood before dying I told my sister one last time that she is the best sister I could have and to live happily this is my last wish and to say sorry to the parents before giving my last breath with a smile.

I start reading all the books, rather I flip through the pages at high speed and memorize all the content because I kept my eidetic memory of my previous life and the latter seems to have evolved during my crossing of the abyss because all the books or information remains in my memory more easily, it is as if I had a library in my head that stores all the information in books that I can consult when I want where I want.

I manage to proceed and analyze them more quickly but at a certain limit because my body is too young and weak to support too much information flow. I can also find defects in a technique, recipe or formula and repair or improve them if I have the required knowledge in my library.

It was already past lunchtime when Sai left his bed. Food was prepared on the table with a note, 'Eat, we're out for your brother's theatre play, come out for dinner tonight at 7:00 pm, Central Plaza, don't forget to wear a jacket'-Mom.

And when he reached home his sweat was all dried, breathing normalized, so instead of taking a long rest on a chair, he went to get a warm bath. A bath that took almost an hour, he stayed in the bathtub thinking, when the transfer would come to pick them up, him and some other neighborhood kids heading to the research center for their training. After his long bath, dried his hair, and went to take a nap, then his phone rang.

"Hello," Sai said with a half-asleep tone as he picked up the phone call.

"Where are you? Everyone is waiting!" Izen said irritated, she wasn't able to get her nap yet since they had to prepare for the meet. Ladies are ladies after all.

The tone on the voice shook Sai from his dreaming state, the looked at the time reading: 7:18 pm, he then dashed to his closet pulled some casual wear he prepared before going to bed, and called for a cab. It takes, precisely, a 15-minute ride to his destination from their house. Sao dressed as best he could, wore his how's not forgetting his phone and wallet, turned off the appliances, and left the building.

When he got out, headed to the street, a cab arrived stopping in front of him as if clockwork, every action seemed to be calculated effectively. Sitting at the back of the transport he gave his destination to the driver and opened his phone.

The first call arrived at 5:00 a few minutes after he got to bed. Reading the messages, that contained just one phrase; Wake up! is all it said. After reading the message he's sent a grouped message saying: "On my way."

Nobody really cared if he attended the dinner, they could just get him some takeout for later, he is a grown man after all, but his brother kept on asking if he is coming. So the adults couldn't turn a blind eye and called for him, but that was just for show. Fortuitously, his best friend; Izen, attended the dinner, and this gave Sai's brother more reason to impose on his attendance. None of them thought this as annoying, to their eyes it was cute, the younger brother looking up to his elders.

When the food started to be served, Sai appeared behind the door of the restaurant. Izen saw him and waves her hand raised to attract his attention.

"Just in time. Thank you for waiting." Sai greeted his elders and then sat beside his brother and best friend.

"I wanted to wake you up earlier but mother said not to disturb you." Sai's brother said.

"Haha... Really. Thanks." Sai put his hands around his brother's neck pulling him close then messing up his hair.

The dinner was delicious, mixed continental dishes and tropical seafood grub enticed the family gathering. The conversation ranged from Sai's brother's recital to his acceptance in the research department and Izens decision to postpone her transfer.

When the family got home, Sai made sure that his brother went to sleep, and then he freshened up and went to his room. Booting up his computer and browsing the CELESTIALS official website for new information, and the forums for hints on how to get the descent drops and equipment, as well as where to get materials for the alchemist and blacksmith quest.

Sai was able to locate a spot where he could collect for pearls, located in the assassins encampment, Bandits lair, Nad gold ores From the mines near the Royal Training grounds. As for the firewood, there were no hints on what material is of high quality so he would still have to look for a suitable source. After a while of searching and browsing, Sai decided to log in to the game.

Wearing the headgear, Sai laid down on his bed and initiated the login interface of the equipment.

"Qingshan and I will be going to Wan Xiang Tower. Head to Old Wang's place on the street in front and sell all the beast hides. Let's meet up again in this alleyway." Teng Yongfan gave out instructions before he glanced toward Teng Qinghu and asked, "Qinghu, you haven't been to the Wan Xiang Tower before either. Do you wanna come with us to take a look at the things sold by Wan Xiang Tower?"
"Of course!" Teng Qinghu lifted his head and said.
"Alright, then ask the others to help you keep your weapons temporarily." Teng Yongfan said, "Qingshan, hand over your spear as well. No one is allowed to enter Wan Xiang Tower with weapons.
"They have such strict rules!" Teng Qingshan also handed his Damascus Steel Spear to the other clansmen.
With this, Teng Yongfan, Teng Qingshan, and Teng Qinghu walked towards Wan Xiang Tower.
The entrance of Wan Xiang Tower was guarded by two valiant and heroic looking ladies with a sharp sword hung at their waist. The two ladies smiled as they welcomed every guest. Simultaneously, they reminded the customers not to bring their weapons into Wan Xiang Tower.
Dressed like hunters, Teng Qingshan and the others walked in directly without being stopped by the two ladies.
"This place is really big." Teng Qinghu said as his eyes widened in shock.
Teng Qingshan was also taken aback. With many counters everywhere, the interior of Wan Xiang Tower was extremely spacious. Just the number of member of the staff who stood at the counter alone surpassed 100. Moreover, this was just the first floor.
"Qingshan, everyone of any background can enter Wan Xiang Tower. In addition, you can find all sorts of things here." Teng Yongfan said, "The first and second floors are both for selling things. As for the third floor.. Outsiders are not allowed. The good items sold by Wan Xiang Tower are extremely costly!"
Teng Qingshan looked at the many pieces of items displayed on the counters and exclaimed to himself, "Wan Xiang Tower is really bold to be displaying all of their precious items outside. They aren't afraid that people would snatch or rob them!" Teng Qingshan's gaze swept across the room and he noticed that there were also some people patrolling the place.
"They're probably inner strength experts, preventing people from stealing." Teng Qingshan thought to himself.
Teng Qinghu's eyes widened as he stared at a bangle on the counter and said, "Isn't this a Blue Flower Stone bangle? When we chance upon a large piece of the Blue Flower Stone in the mountains, we only sold it for one hundred silver taels. The one piece of Blue Flower Stone we found could be used to make several bangles. Yet, this bangle actually cost one hundred and twenty silver taels."
The staff who stood inside the counter only cast a look of disdain at Teng Qinghu.
It was clear that Teng Qinghu was a poor villager from the mountains. His clothing showed that there was no way for him to buy these exquisitely made bangles.
"Alright, let's go in a take a look." Teng Yongfan frowned and glared at Teng Qinghu. He then walked to the side and said in a soft voice, "Qinghu, don't be creating a fuss. It's embarrassing. Got it?"
Teng Qinghu grinned and did not say another word.
"Father, what are you buying?" Teng Qinghu asked.
"Some materials for forging weapons. The forging of all those Frost Jade Sabers has depleted most of our materials. Therefore, it's time to buy some more. Wan Xiang Tower is the only place in Yi City that sells these materials." Teng Yongfan then headed inside. "Come, let me broaden your horizon. Let's go and take a look at the counter that sells the materials for forging weapons.
When most men from the village first come to the Wan Xiang Tower, they were all extremely shocked.
However, to Teng Qingshan, this place was much smaller in size than those large-scaled departmental stores from his previous world. There were also much fewer items in comparison. Therefore, he was not very surprised.
Teng Qingshan and the others came to the counter that sold materials for forging weapons.
"There are so many messed up things here." Teng Qinghu mumbled.
Indeed, there were various pieces of metals, stones, powdery items, and other items on the counter. Anyway, although all the things here did not appear to be expensive, their prices were astonishingly high.

The staff smiled and said, "That would be one hundred Jin of gold, which is one hundred thousand silver taels! Unless the person is very wealthy or a powerful cultivator, they wouldn't be able to afford so much money.
Teng Qingshan gasped.
One hundred thousand silver taels to make a single spear? The spare money that Teng Jia Village had was only around twenty thousand silver taels at most.

A handsome man wearing long-sleeved aquamarine-colored clothes and a cute girl who was wearing a white marten fur coat entered Wan Xiang Tower together.
There were guards and servant behind them.
"That's the daughter of that great salt merchant." Teng Qinghu lowered his voice and said.
"It's really her." Teng Qingshan had noticed that as well. However, his attention was more on that guy. "It's winter now, but that handsome young man is only wearing a set of long-sleeved clothes. He doesn't seem cold at all. He must be an expert who cultivated inner strength."
"Qingshan," Teng Qinghu stealthily glanced toward the distant, lowered his voice and said, "This rich young lady is really different from the girls in our village in the mountains. Look how fair her skin is and how tender her face is… Her face is even more tender than the ladies in the brothels."
Hearing this, Teng Qingshan didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He then responded to Qinghu with a smile, "If you want to look at her, go closer. Why are you peeking at her from afar? After all, we won't be able to see her when we are back in the village.
The girls living in the mountains were subjected to manual labor from a young age and were exposed to harsh weather conditions. How could they possibly be compared with these young ladies from wealthy families who had everything brought to them at their request?

The young man's face flushed red as he replied, "Qingyu, don't tease me. This is just my dream! Teng Qingshan could distinctly see that the staff had brought out four thread-bounded books that were as thick as a finger. The book stacked on top of the other two had three big beautifully written words—Hidden Dragon Ranking. The servant behind the young man immediately made the payment with four pieces of silver notes, each worth one hundred silver taels.
"Four hundred taels?" Teng Qingshan thought to himself, "Four books cost four hundred taels? Why is it so expensive?"
By right, books should be cheap.
That pair of handsome and pretty couple headed for the other counters while Teng Qingshan came to the counter which the couple had purchased the books. The three books that stood out the most were the "Hidden Dragon Ranking", the "Young Phoenix Ranking", and the "Earthly Ranking". The "Hidden Dragon Ranking" and the "Young Phoenix Ranking" were both very thick while the"Earthly Ranking" was the only book that was very thin.
The "Hidden Dragon Ranking" and the "Young Phoenix Ranking" costs one hundred silver taels while the "Earthly Ranking"costs ten silver taels.
"What are these three books?" Teng Qingshan enquired.
The staff threw a glance at Teng Qingshan, who was still young, and said with a smile, "Young lad, these three books lists down the famous elites across the Nine Prefectures as well as their biographies. If you want to buy them, go get money from the adults at home." People who purchased these books were mainly those who trained their inner strength or members of a wealthy family who held great admiration for cultivators. Therefore, these books were priced at a very high cost."
Teng Qingshan was tempted.
Although he now knew that there were eight great sects on the Land of Nine Prefectures, he was still not clear about many things.
"I'll be buying that "Earthly Ranking"." Teng Qingshan said as he took out ten silver taels.

"Qingshan, ten silver taels for a book?" Teng Qinghu, who was beside Teng Qingshan, had just withdrawn his attention and realized that Teng Qingshan had just spent ten silver taels purchasing a book.
"That's right. This book is worth the money." Teng Qingshan smiled and took the book from the staff.
"Hmph, if your father were to hear of this, he'd definitely nag at you." Teng Qinghu pouted and said.
However, Teng Qingshan just stood where he was and started reading through the book.

I'm finally free. My little sister really enjoys when I read to her, and with the second volume of the princesses books our mother brought recently, she became once again obsessed with those 'new' stories. 

It has been a really bad year. I went from believing I had a lot of time to introduce all kinds of stories to the world, to realize that I wasn't the only reincarnated person in the world. And the others were not playing around like I've done until now.

One guy has already written three books, with a fourth coming out soon. Another one has somehow made a cartoon for tv. And there were at least three others making their 'own' comic books, if the information my father has is correct.

Fortunately no one has touched any of the titles I love. But that didn't mean that no one was planning on it, or even worse, already doing it. So now I could only work hard and pray for the best possible outcome. 

"Rachel! It's time to go, are you ready?" My father called me. 

We were going to the comic publisher where my father has some friends. I planned to familiarize myself in the comic business to eventually make one of my own. After all, I have a talent for drawing and I know many interesting stories. 

"Yes daddy" I said with a sweet smile. I couldn't have him regret his decision after all the time I had spent convincing him to bring me there. 

"Are you really planning on making your own comic?" My father asked once we were on the road. 

"Yes! After you told me about the other kids my age doing so much, it inspired me" I replied with extra enthusiasm. 

My father sighed at my answer, "I know that you're a really talented girl with a precious gift, but you don't need to try this hard. You're young, and it worries me all the effort you been putting these last days" He said with a soft tone. 

It's true that I have been working hard lately. And I'm grateful for the care that my father always gives me. But it's nothing serious, he's just perplexed with the sudden change in my attitude. I went from a relaxed and playful girl, to a hard working one who hardly plays anymore. 

"I know daddy. I just want to try it out and see what happens with my own eyes" I finally said. There was no way I could explain to him the importance of not wasting time. 

The rest of our time in the car was filled with the typical questions about school and the friends I've made. My suffering only stopped until we arrived to our destination, where I finally could get out to get some needed space. 

I didn't had any expectations for the place, but still I have to admit that I was somehow disappointed. It was just a building, with no special details worth mentioning, besides the big sign at the entrance. 

Fortunately the interior had more life to it. There were some people walking from one side to the other, talking and discussing loudly about many things. 

Among the group of people there was one of my dad's friends, an amicable looking middle age guy, who was a little on the fat side. When he saw us, he approached with a happy expression on his face. 

"Robert! Nice to see you" He said before giving my father a short hug. 

"I see that you haven't left the hamburgers, huh?" My father joked. 

"Hahaha, I tried it for a couple of days... Never again!" He replied. And then they proceeded to joke around for a extremely long time. In my unbiased opinion. 

"Glenn, this is my daughter. Rachel" My father suddenly said. I was starting to think that he forgot to introduce me in the first place. 

"Hello Mr. Glenn, I'm Rachel. It's nice to meet you" I saluted him politely. 

"Nice to meet you too!" He said to me with a smile, "Are you sure that she's your daughter? She's cute and well mannered after all" He joked again. But I sure wasn't going to let them go at it again. 

"Mr. Glenn, what is everyone doing? They seem to be discussing something important" I asked while pointing the group of people in front. 

"Oh! They are discussing about work, we have some deadlines to accomplish after all... Although the topic now is about Michael. A kid who's making this really cool comic book named 'The walking dead' " He explained. 

"Is Michael here?" I asked quickly. I really wanted to meet another person in my situation. Maybe the possibility of working together wasn't impossible after all. 

"Yes, do you want to meet him?" He asked with interest. 

I just nodded in confirmation, and after some more small talk between the 'adults', we went towards one of the rooms in the building. 

Inside, there was a young kid my age discussing with two adults about something related to the violence of the comic, according to what I could hear. 

The kid, that should be Michael, had a beautiful shiny blonde hair, although a little too long for my liking. He had pale skin, a small pointy nose, and deep blue eyes. He's definitely cute. 

"Ok, let me ask the boss" One of the adults said, and then walked away. 

Taking advantage of the situation, I approached quickly with a clear intention on mind. "Hey there. I'm Rachel" I introduced myself to the pair in front of me. Although my eyes never left Michael. 

"Hello Rachel. I'm Thomas and this is my son Michael" He said once he noticed his son's lack of interest. 

"Tom! How is it all going?" Glenn asked once he and my dad got closer. 

Like I supposed, there was a problem about how violent the comic was turning out. What did surprise me, was that no one mentioned the fact that a little kid imagined that violence in the first place. 

The adults were discussing about it, so I finally made my move, "Hey, are you planning in doing the whole farm storyline? I ask because I wasn't really a fan of that part in the TV show" I said with a mischievous smile. 

I totally caught him off guard. His expression transformed quickly from irritating and expressionless, to one full of surprise and I even dare to say relief too. 

"Come with me" He simply said after a while, and walked towards one corner of the room. I signaled my father where I was going and then followed him. 

"So another one has appeared" He said playfully when we reached a 'safe' spot. 

"Why are you trying to act like I didn't surprise you? Your face before was pure gold" I joked. 

"Ha ha, a funny one I see" He said, adopting a more serious expression. "Let's drop the act. Why are you here?" 

"Do I need a reason to present myself to you?" I asked back. I wanted us to have talked casually for a longer period of time before we started with business. But he obviously had other plans. 

He just sighed with a tired expression at my words, "Well, let me present the situation from my perspective first, so we'll both are in the same place" He said with a low tone that totally didn't match his boyish looks. 

"I don't know how many reincarnated people there are. And I suspect, given the people I'm aware of, that we all were born around the same year... What I do know, is that we have a big opportunity to succeed thanks to our bast knowledge of future inventions. But like the kids we are, we are limited in our actions... So, the entertainment industry turned out to be the best alternative for us to tackle. Comics, books, tv shows, music. There's a lot of possibilities... "

"I'm aware of that. In fact I'm planning to make a certain story on my own. Which, as you could have guessed, is the principal reason of my presence here" I said with a small smile.  

"That's cute" He smirked, but it didn't last long before his serious expression returned "...In my case, once I realized the situation I was in, all I could think of was to make this one property I loved and make it my own. Give it my own spin if you may...But I was late" 

That sucks, I really hope that doesn't happen to me. And considering that 'Harry Potter' is very popular, it could happen at any time. 

"What was the property you wanted to make?" I asked. I didn't want to pry, but my curiosity was bigger. 

"Star wars" He admitted, "A girl named Carla presented the idea earlier to other comic publisher" 

I completely forgot about that one. It will be hard to make it popular at this time though. And introducing it with a comic instead of a movie, will make it even more difficult. 

"Do you know of others like us?... Besides Carla I mean" I was curious, and he seemed to know more than me about the others. 

"So you really want to join the fun, huh?" Michael said, while he genuinely smiled for the first time. "Well you're in luck, thanks to my father I was able to get to know about most of the competition... 

There's this unknown girl, who I believe will participate in a kid show. But she's going with the music route, so I'm not that interested about her.

Miguel, who I discovered recently, is writting 'The chronicles of Narnia'. Although I been told that it will take him some time to finish.

And the worst of all, even more so than Carla, is this guy who doesn't know how to take it easy. Samuel..."

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success.

Scarlet didn't know if Debbie's frown was a frown of concentration or one of disapproval. She knew it would be a bad idea to write about something so wild and negative but the girl simply couldn't help it! Jasper's new classmates were simply too interesting and the things they did were simply too entertaining to not write about... She couldn't really be blamed here.
Unknown to the young writer, Danny had been keeping the adults updated about what the three children were up to. Nobody was truly surprised by Alex's determination to win the art competition. In fact, Wilmer encouraged it. He secretly supported his biological daughter by telling Claire to buy more art supplies.
However, they weren't quite sure what Jasper was thinking when he joined the Entrepreneur Circle even after finding out that it was nothing more than a bunch of hooligans. Wilmer couldn't believe his ears when Danny reported about Jasper's offer to help the delinquents study. If anything, the CEO was most certain that Jasper would prefer to lord of them and use them as his extra hands and legs. While he trusted the boy to take care of his daughter, he wouldn't put such things past the young man. He was a merciless businessman through and through. However, he didn't stop the aspiring businessman. In fact, he was intrigued when Scarlet suddenly became involved. Nobody had been expecting that.
The young writer even went so far as to observe everyone in the new class and updated her secret journal that Claire was following. Debbie's feedback about Scarlet's new plot made everything more amusing for the adults as they finally figured out Jasper's intentions. Wilmer wasn't very far of the dot about Jasper's intention but with Scarlet's interference, not even Danny knew what the outcome would be like. The fact that with the smart duo helping the boys out academically, there were large improvements to be seen although the teaching methods employed could be rather questionable. Any normal teacher under an employment contract who attempted what these kids attempted would have been fired for even thinking about it.
Debbie flipped through the story draft for the second time to scrutinise on the details. For a ten-year-old, Scarlet was extremely good at planning and pacing. In fact, the process came naturally to her that the editor didn't think it was necessary to introduce the concept of pacing to Scarlet. It's almost as useless as teaching a fish how to swim.
"I'm sorry... was it a bad idea after all?" Scarlet's quiet question made Debbie look up from the script. the frown marring her features disappeared when she saw the tiny girl before her.
"No! No, not at all. It's a good bad idea. I like it," the editor told Scarlet genuinely.
Scarlet blinked. What was a good bad idea?
"Oh," Debbie rolled her eyes and smacked her head with the flimsy paper plot. "Phrasing... what I meant to say was that it's a very unique idea that I think will be very suitable for general readers. If done right, this could be your very first ticket to writerhood."
Scarlet didn't know if she should immediately start crying in relief or jump in celebration. Deciding on a little of both, the girl got up from her chair and tackled her tutor with tears rolling down her cheeks. Debbie allowed the girl to be emotional and smiled. Her eyes landed on the six-paged draft sitting on her side of the table. For some reason, Debbie wanted "Sixteen is a Gang" to succeed. It would be a real shame to see something so original to not be released into the world for readers to enjoy. More people needed to know Scarlet.
Claire walked in to see the editor and writer bonding over a successfully agreed on a story to work on. The head maid was secretly proud and snapped the photo silently before captioning it in the group chat.

"Where did you get the inspiration from?" Debbie asked, genuinely curious as to how observing sixteen delinquents could birth such an original tale of adventure and friendship.
After Claire introduced her to Scarlet's secret Observational Diary, the editor found herself more intrigued by how Scarlet's mind worked. The girl was a very different person on the inside as if she was born with understanding things before even she knew of their existence. It was as if Scarlet was born with a world inside of her.
The young writer looked shy. "It's not really an original idea... I just really liked the way that the boys in that class acted like a band of righteous brothers who would stand together no matter what happened. I also so the teachers who were assigned to teach them before as villains. However, the true tyrant would be the society who didn't give them a chance. I just felt like if they were given a chance, perhaps they could have become the unlikely heroes that the world needed?"
The editor pushed her glasses up and pointed to one section. "Over here I saw that you heightened the tension of the scene by plotting an unexpected twist in your character's decision to betray his brothers. Was this planned to give a counter twist at the end more meaning?"
Scarlet tilted her head to the side. "No... I didn't really plan it. All I did was sit down once I get the idea and the excitement and then most of the plot just wrote itself. I didn't really do much. In fact, I don't really remember writing a betrayal but I understand why it has to happen."
Boneless, Debbie allowed herself to melt into the chair for a bit. For many years the editor struggled with bringing original content for her readers but failed. The part of her who was once a writer hurt deeply in understanding why she couldn't continue writing.
"So this is the difference between a genius and an ordinary writer... ultimately there will be a wall that even hard work cannot overcome."
Scarlet blinked, unable to make out the mumbled words clearly. However, the editor simply reached over the table and patted her gently on the head. The tutor had a wide smile on her face, looking extremely refreshed. While Scarlet didn't know why her tired teacher would suddenly look as if a huge burden had been lifted from her shoulders, she was almost 100% sure that it had something to do with her question earlier.
"Come on, Sue and Tina are waiting for you. I heard that dinner is going to be grand today."
Scarlet felt her mouth water. Food in the Wilde House was always something she loved. There was no better food than homecooked food and Scarlet would definitely agree with whoever said that. There simply was no competing with the food made by Tina and Sue. No Michelin Star chefs can compete with the special seasoning that Sue and Tina used. After all, love cannot be bought with money.

It was a regular day at borgin and burkes, the best antique shop in the wizarding world of Britain and don't let anyone tell you different. After all this is the only place you can get almost any ancient thing, they even had Salazar's necklace for a time until they made a mistake and sold it to old mrs. Smith. But after the last wizarding war, where a lot of the rich pure-bloods fought for the losing side, people started to think this place is evil- because pure-bloods know quality, so most of them went here. After the war, except for the occasional mistaken up and coming muggle-born, the only ones that come here are the dark and gray pure-bloods and even they come in hoods. Just for everyone to know (not that they would tell anyone) mr. Borgin was a half-blood and mr. Burkes'es great grandfather (the one who helped create the shop) was a muggle-born, they didn't care for blood status, just money.
So when me. Burkes or Daniel saw two adults and a child coming in with muggle clothes he didn't care at all, well maybe a little, not because of the muggle part, because they were new to this world so maybe he can make a lot of money out of them.
"Hey, how can I help you today at our antique shop?" He asked with a smile 
"We are looking for something interesting for the boy, after all, it's not everyday you're turning 11." 
If this world was SpongeBob and not Harry Potter, Daniel's eyes would become dollar eyes and if he was a Metamorphmagus his hair and eyes, maybe even his skin, would have turned gold, but as it was neither this nor that, the only change he had was a smile slightly bigger than before.
"And what would you like, Young sir?" He asked and paid attention for the boy for the first time
"Well, what is the most exotic magic book you have?" That was a difficult question, Daniel had lots of exotic magic books as it wasn't illegal to have books about illegal magic, but if he brought the boy a book too bad he won't get it and leave, then an idea came to mind.
"You look like a smart boy, I have just the book for you." Daniel went to the back and brought back a book, it was 'Occlumency: defend your mind'. If it was 200 years ago, Daniel wouldn't have sold it, after all it was one of the only occlumency books in existence! Usually, you learn occlumency from a master who were taught by his master, but luckily for Harry, occlumency was a dying art and the store was in bad shape, other wise he could have never get it.
"Harry, we have to buy it. What if someone would mess with your mind? That's not a present, it's a necessity!"
Daniel almost smiled his real smile and not just his business smile, he could see this family becoming one of his best clients. "This is 10 galleon and 15 sickle but because it's your first buy I will round it up to 10 galleon. If it's not a gift can I interest you in something else, Young Harry?" Daniel saw in the corner of his eyes the mother taking out the coins while Harry was saying "well, do you have an interesting invention? My dad and I like creating new things and tweak with things so that would be nice." 'That is it, I can finally get rid of that thing, but I have to sell it right so I won't lose my new customers over this' Daniel thought, and if he wasn't with people you would see him rubbing his hands.
"I might have something, it's a device which manufacturing way disappeared about 300 years ago,  the vanishing cabinet, it is said, that if you have this device and it's brother, if you get into one you would come out of the other, no matter what kind of wards there are in place. Sadly I only have one, otherwise, I wouldn't be selling it for less then 1000 galleons cause now it can only be used as a garbage disposal and for tweaking with it so I will sell for 23 galleons."
The eyes of Harry twinkled in excitement and Daniel could already feel the galleons especially when he heard from the father the words "We have to buy it, a semi working teleportation device. That's the dream!" "You already said it about a flying car" the woman said "can't a man have two dreams!" In the end they bought the vanishing cabinet as a bonus he added an expended suitcase for one galleon to put the cabinet inside.
In the end, when they left, Daniel was happy as he made 34 galleon in one sell, not knowing that in six years, for only the cabinet he could have made 150 galleons

You know the drill, I died and got wishes, than I replaced the main character and lived happily ever after... or at least that's what it is supposed to be like, so why, in instead of reincarnating in my favorite book I am stuck in this AU where I am not sure what's gonna happen? Good thing I love fan-fictions?
