Well, I don't know how the author pulled it of, but he did. He made Sakura even more useless then in Cannon!!! At least in canon she had no skills with which to help, here she is strong(according to her) but every single confrontation ends exactly as in canon. Also, with Naruto or Sasuke being the MVP...

OK, good luck in your writings. Sadly, if you want to pull readers, you need a hook of some sort. I find that reading frustrating stuff in the first few chapters turns me away very fast from new work. Also, you may want to have the same conclusion to some actions, like team 7 ending up together, but why did you force the launch scene?...Let's not talk about the Zabuza fight, where Sasuke with only tree walking decimated his clones in less then a second(canon), yet this supposed chunin level Sakura was useless against them...It's one thing to want the same conclusion, it's another to force a result even if it means creating plot holes...
