Will this novel only revolve around mc and his girlfriends or it will have more things(like plots, actions, world building, powering up, villains, etc. you know, the standard stuff)?

The book is very good and my thing but ot has not been updated over a month. I’m starting to wonder if the author abandoned this novel. His other book is just updated but this is not.
