Nice. Good to see that the MC isn't saving her for moral reasons or 'just for plot', but instead did it for his own benefit and didn't hesitate to capitalize on it.

So, it works as a passive skill, creating an invisible barrier that stops the first attack that hits it? Or is it activated conciously and voluntarily, and is deactivated automatically when an ally comes nearby?
