He knew there was no limit to what he could do with it seeing as he was fire itself, but he did need to learn to control it so he was going to do that in the woods, although the woods wasn't the best place for a fire he didn't have anywhere else.

If he was refracting light, he would look like a human shaped water to others depending on how much he is changing the direction of light when it passes through him. If one wants to be fully invisible, just imagine how light would act when it passes thorugh a pane of glass. That is if the medium doesnt change the direction of light and let the light passes through the medium with no disturbance, then to other people they wont notice the medium.

While true, the impressive feat of MC is that he held that speed for 7 minutes. Elite athletes cannnot run at their top speed and maintain that speed for 7 minutes.

Infamous is a much more appropriate adjective to use than famous to describe serial killers. While it is true that the forensics of Jack the Ripper was botched, there are many instances of much more recent infamous serial killers which are unsolved even with the current forensics technology. And an infamous criminal does not always equate to a stupid and failed criminal, there are many cases in which infamous criminals are not identified or caught but are solely known for their heinous crimes.

There is a great mind twisting time travel movie called "Predestination", which explores the impossible bootstrap paradox. The paradox can be explained when an object only exists within a time loop with no beginning and end. For example, If I time traveled 10 days into past and gives a pen to my friend and tells him to give it to me 3 days later. After the friend returns the pen back to present me, 7 days later I continue the loop by time traveling 10 days into past, at this point pen has no beginning and end it only exists in that time loop, which is a trippy concept.
Of the many ideas that Will thought about, there was an idea about a time loop story. A man would go through an unfortunate event in which his daughter was killed in a car accident, but after every time he reaches her funeral, he would go back in time and try to save her and would end up failing every time, because he later finds out that he wasn't the only one time travelling back in time, it was the same for his daughter's killer who was doing the car accident with the intent to murder his daughter.
