These catalysts are still basic yeah, jjust boosted using the gear. Hes gotta upgrade them to better ones eventually.

A couple chapters back, when he killed Lucci, he used the whirlwind iron fist. Next chapter it wasn't in the status summary. So does he have the maritial art or not? I don't see why he wouldn't, i would've got it soon after the water smashing rock fist as a perfect counterpart but we never saw him get it. Clarification author?

However, aluminium could only be produced after the industrial revolution for the simple reason that you need extremely high temperatures (like 3000 - 4000 derees celcius, i don't remember the exact number) to separate it from it's ore. Please note that aluminium has a relatively low melting point so much so that it doesn't give off any visible glow like iron or copper when molten. However, it's incredibly reactive and extremely hard to separate from other elements, hence requiring the extreme temps mentioned before that could only be produced through electricity. It's extremely, extremely energy intensive to refine out from ore hence why it's not found anywhere (as a pure metal) before the industrial revolution. Also, just to clear this up, Aluminium is it's own element. Borax is a flux that helps prevent oxidation and is used in the metal refinining industries for exactly that. Check the priodic table or go back to school.
