Actually if the book is going slightly like the comic version then no worries, because in the comics if there are no Sorcerer Supreme candidates, the Vishanti will begin the tournament for Sorcerer Supremes, so while not ideally the best solution it does make things slightly risky for Baldy Monk is she takes action, especially because of the Reality Anchor.

Definitely going to be, Neutralize the Problematic Ones (Like the one mutant that burns down organic matter in a radius by just existing), Contain the Idiots (Yes I am talking about the Scarlet Witch and Bacteria, too much power and idiocy to even consider proper negotiations), Allow the Evolution of Mankind (The Foundation doing their best to decode the X-Gene as humanely possible and erase the randomness of the power granted). That is what I actually hope, but anything less than cold calculation against the Mutants will in a sense destroy the immersion of SCP, but it's not like the Foundation doesn't understand the benefits or the dangers involved during the containment of any SCP, and Mutants aside from a few Omega levels aren't really dangerous or a threat to mankind.
