don't leave out the slice of life, many novels skip those parts which leaves a novel with too fast a pace and therefore less content and shorter, personally what I like most about novels are the interactions between the characters and the changes they have in their way of thinking after all it doesn't take a traumatic event to change the characters as many do.

i think you should combine the two options, there are not many mystery novels out there and being the addams you can't miss that, a 60 slice of life and the rest mystery. so far i really like the way the story is going.

will there be romance? i hope so, in LOTM i would have loved to have romance so please let there be romance in this novel.

Personally I like to think that he didn't suddenly become stupid but that he saw this place as a new beginning giving himself the opportunity to trust, thinking that maybe it would be different that he wouldn't be alone, after all if you never had anyone deep down you would be desperate to have someone to trust no matter how mature they are, after all feelings are irrational.

i can understand that some may complain but they already implied that to some extent he is being influenced by destiny, hence the difference between how he treats others and how he treats logan and oliver.

in reality this is orion's fault, he mentioned his sister and she went into an unstable mental state and concluded that everything was caused by issac, besides she is cursed and that makes her obsessed with issac although it is not revealed why. the reason for the costume I have no idea

I like the previous one better, from the personality to the way you built the plot, it was slow but gave space for the development of the characters, plus I like the mentality that the protagonist had before to see the world and its people as living offspring and not just trying to advance in the ranking, so far I'm disappointed with the rewrite, the previous one seems better at least at the beginning, this one skips so many interactions and descriptions that it's unfortunate, it goes too fast for my taste. Not to offend, just what I think because I liked the previous one.

i have a hard time understanding mc, he's a good guy most of the time but when it comes to lust i don't know what to think, i understand it's because of his past and all that but it seems like there's more lust than feelings for his girls and i say this because of the few times his feelings are mentioned. his thoughts almost always go towards lust, what i want to know is he going to be more consumed by lust or not? very good story!
