Harry furrowed his eyebrows as he walked over to the window to check who it was.

The badminton court was situated on the second floor and it wasn't the first time a student tried climbing through the window of the badminton court.

It was easy to climb the walls, only for those who had extra skills in climbing because there were extra blocks attached to the walls of the school.

As Harry approached the window, he stopped abruptly and leaned towards it. His eyes fell on the long hands that stopped banging as if he or she sensed that someone was watching.

"Who is there?" He called but there was no answer.

All that Harry could see was the two hands holding tightly to the horizontal lower edge of the window.

Harry sensed danger so he insisted against trying to save whoever had been banging the window.

However, there was something that caught his attention when he continuously stared at the school environment. Random students were walking carelessly. Harry looked further and noticed that the manner in which they walked was abnormal. They walked like drunkards, no...like zombies!

Everyone knew what zombies were. They were dead people walking around and looking for whom to infect by feeding on them. There were countless movies and dramas that had portrayed the non-existing creature. And these creatures were only made up by some random person who sat down to think of something to acquire people's interest and gain their money and thereby blow people's minds while people write about more.

However, Harry thought that the students he was seeing downstairs were either playing or playing the act of frightening zombies. But regardless, it was strange, it wasn't break time yet.

After a while of checking if the person hanging on the window wasn't there, he was surprised to see the hands again and a louder banging of the window erupted.

Harry sighed seeing this and decided that the best thing to do was to push the student away from the window. He didn't care if he or she got injured, as long as he or she didn't die, then he was okay with it. All he wanted to do was to enjoy his time alone, not some useless student playing around.

He stood some meters away from the window and stared at the hands knocking on the glass, trying to recall the spell for pushing things out of the way.

Harry, who had stood some metres away from the window, came closer so that his spell could be effective.

Calling magic spells out loud was effective but not as effective as saying them in mind, and saying the spells in mind exhausted more strength than it normally should. Harry decided to recite the little spell in his mind as his hand pointed toward the glass window.

His stretched hands were pointing towards the lower part of the window where the student's other hand was. And as he did that, the student's hands were pushed away.

Seeing that his spell was successful, he opened the window and leaned towards it to confirm. He stared downwards, however wasn't expecting a heavy hand which grabbed him and tried pulling him from the window.

Harry immediately, with his other hand pushed away the dirty hand wrapped around his waist also trying not to fall in-between.

As the struggle persisted, he immediately felt sudden sharp teeth pierce through his left wrist because he had previously folded the hands of his shirt.

The pain was unbearable as the student had exerted too much force on his weak skin.

Perhaps, that student was truly frantic and powerful to be able to withhold the spell he cast.

This student seemed to want to bite off his skin, fortunately, the teeth that were attached to Harry's skin were released since he used his other hand which he had held on the wall beside him to push the student off him.

When Harry pulled his hand, he closed the window hurriedly and groaned a little out of pain. His heart beat fast when he couldn't see the bite mark on his skin. The student deliberately bit off the pound of his flesh in that area.

The pain was just too unbearable, and he walked away from the window, to sit in the place where the blue chairs in the badminton court were arranged.

Harry looked closely at his bitten wrist with confusion all over his face, and then he sighed when he noticed that the blood kept oozing out and wasn't going to stop no matter how he wiped it off.

He couldn't heal himself because he had not seen any magic spell that was related to healing. All that he had seen and learnt was always related to things that could help to do physical fights.

He had never learnt healing spells. Just like he had overheard, healing spells could not be easily memorised and cast because some rituals were to be performed beforehand and there would be a great amount of energy that would be exhausted in the process, he was too young to cast such spells. Unfortunately, he couldn't help himself.

Looking at how his white shirt was filled with his blood, he was terrified. What if that bloody student with such vampire teeth had broken his vein? Why was he bleeding seriously now if not?

He looked over at the window and surprisingly, he saw more than just hands.

He could see a male student whose mouth was filled with blood. The student looked at him through the window and as that happened, he started banging his face through the window.

Harry was frightened when he saw this. He couldn't tell who the student was but the student definitely wasn't in his right senses.

After banging for a couple of seconds, the window glass cracked. Harry spotted this and immediately stood up from the chair he was sitting on.

Something was definitely wrong.

He watched the student again as the student banged the window glass, this time much heavier and a couple of glasses broke in between.

Seeing this and knowing something was wrong, he decided to call a teacher but he couldn't stay anymore because the student, fortunately, broke through the window and was about to enter.

Harry ran out of the badminton court in fear and through the corridors, however the male student who had blood all over his white shirt kept following him. As soon as he saw the amenity, he opened the door and closed it.

He breathed hard. His hand kept bleeding and he walked over to wash his wrist and then his shirt. After a while, washing off his exposed flesh, he looked at himself in the large mirror. His heart was still breathing fast but the pain that was once there on his wrist had disappeared and the bleeding had stopped. He decided to take a look at his wrist; however, he was awestunned when he saw that his exposed flesh had grown and there was no sign that a pound of flesh was mixing.

His eyes still widened and tried checking if the energy in him had oozed off but he still felt complete. Other than the energy he had exhausted while running through the corridors and run-climbing the stairs, there was no energy exhausted in creating a healing spell. Could his body have healed itself because his body was accustomed to magic now?

Harry shook his head, however, as he further stared at the mirror, he saw a green screen before him and sudden beeps popped into his head which resulted in sudden headache because of the intensity.

Harry's heart, which had been beating fast, calmed down as he tried focusing on whatever he was reading and trying to know if whatever was happening to him was true.

Though he had heard a lot about these types of games he never was concerned about it when he realised how crazily addicted students became when they play. He had only one addiction and it was Magic, he didn't need any more addiction and was wondering why whatever he was seeing now was appearing in front of him. Could this be a trick? How so? But he had no interest in stuff related to this.

Harry read all in one breath and then he saw two buttons displaying the names of the options he had just read now. The ascending one had a red button while the latter had blue.

Out of curiosity, he tapped on the red one and words on the screen slowly erased only to be brought another.

After setting his eyes and reading whatever it was that was on the screen, he laughed sarcastically.

What the hell was that?

However, his laughter subsided when he heard a knock from the door. Only then did he remember that he was previously running away from a mad guy.
