As Alex stepped out from the sanctuary, he felt the power of the Nexus Crystal coursing thick within his veins. Every step was so light, his mind clear as crystal. The way ahead seemed more apparent than ever before. Yet, a great deal of weight still rested upon him: the threat from the Demon King.
"We're stronger now," Lena said beside him, her eyes darting to the crystal in his hand. "But is it enough?"
Alex frowned, his gaze drifting away as his mind wandered back to the sanctuary. "It's a start, but no. The Demon King's power is… overwhelming. We need more than just this."
Roran, who had fallen behind them, hastened his pace quickly. "The sanctuary gave us an edge, but we are still outnumbered. What we need is something to turn the tide completely."
Right on cue, the system chimed in Alex's mind.
